And it came to pass at the return of the year, at the time of the going forth of kings to war, that Joab gathered the whole force of the army, and they ravaged the land of the children of Ammon; and he came and besieged Rabba. But David abode in Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabba and destroyed it.

Бысть же по лњтњ въ время и^схоже'нїя цр~їи къ бра'ни. събра` і^ѓ^а'въ вс^я во'и и^ си'лныя ты'сящники. и^ ѓ^пђстњ` земля` сн~овъ а^м#мо'нь прїидоша же и^ ѓ^бсњдо'ша рам#ма`. дв~дъ же пребыва'ше въ і^ерsлимњ и^ѓ^а'въ же поби` рам#ма` и^ разори` е^го”

And David took the crown of Molchom their king off his head, and the weight of it was found to be a talent of gold, and on it were precious stones; and it was placed on the head of David: and he brought out the spoils of the city which were very great.

Взя' же дв~дъ вњнецъ молхо'новъ цр~я и^хъ эT главы` е^го, и^ ѓ^брњте'ся в немъ зла'та в# мњрђ тала'нтъ и^ в не'мъ ка'мень драгїи. и^ бњ` на главњ` двд~вњ. плњны же граDски мно'ги взя`”

And he brought out the people that were in it, and sawed them asunder with saws, and cut them with iron axes, and with harrows: and thus David did to all the children of Ammon. And David and all his people returned to Jerusalem.

Лю'дїе же и^же бњхђ в не'мъ и^зведе` и^ расто'рга я& въ растръза'нїе сосђды желњзными въ сокрђше'нїе, та'ко сътвори` дв~дъ всњмъ рабо'мъ сн~овъ а^м#мо'нь, и^ възврати'ся съ всњми людми` свои'ми въ і^ерsлимъ”

And it came to pass afterward that there was again war with the Philistines in Gazer: then Sobochai the Sosathite smote Saphut of the sons of the giants, and laid him low.

И$ бы'сть посе'мъ нача'тся бра'нь е^ще въ газе'рњ съ и^ноплеме'нники. тогда` порази` сова'ха и^ ё^саџїя, сафђя', эT сн~овъ щђдьскихъ и^ смири` и^хъ”

And there was war again with the Philistines; and Eleanan the son of Jair smote Lachmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, and the wood of his spear was as a weavers' beam.

И/на ја^же брань сътворе'нна е^сть проти'вђ и^ноплеме'нникъ. не и%же ё^би` е^леа^но'нъ сн~ъ и^а^и'ръ лаѓ^мїя бра'та голїа'џова хеTџе'искаго е^мђже ра'тище древя'ное бы'сть ја%ко врати'лот#кђщихъ”

And there was again war in Geth, and there was a man of extraordinary size, and his fingers and toes were six on each hand and foot, four and twenty; and he was descended from the giants.

And he defied Israel, and Jonathan the son of Samaa the brother of David slew him.

И$ поноси` і^и^л~я, и^ порази` е^го и^ѓ^а^џаM сн~ъ сама'евъ брата двд~ва”

These were born to Rapha in Geth; all four were giants, and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
