The words of Amos which came to him in Accarim out of Thecue, which he saw concerning Jerusalem, in the days of Ozias king of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joas king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. And he said, The Lord has spoken out of Sion, and has uttered his voice out of Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds have mourned, and the top of Carmel is dried up.	И# речE: гDь t сіHна возгlа и3 t їеrли1ма дадE глaсъ св0й: и3 сётоваша п†жити пaстырей, и3 и4зсше вeрхъ карми1ль.

And the Lord said, For three sins of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away from it; because they sawed with iron saws the women with child of the Galaadites.	И# речE гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz дамaска и3 за четhри не tвращyсz є3гw2, понeже растр0ша пилaми желёзными и3мyщыz во ўтр0бэ сyщихъ въ галаaдэ:

And I will send a fire on the house of Azael, and it shall devour the foundations of the son of Ader.	и3 послю2 џгнь въ д0мъ ґзаи1ль, и3 поsстъ њсновaніе сhна ґдeрова:

And I will break to pieces the bars of Damascus, and will destroy the inhabitants out of the plain of On, and will cut in pieces a tribe out of the men of Charrhan: and the famous people of Syria shall be led captive, saith the Lord.	и3 сокрушY верєи2 дамaскwвы, и3 потреблю2 живyщыz съ п0лz w4нова, и3 посэкY плeмz t мужeй харрaнихъ, и3 плэнsтсz лю1діе сЂрстіи нар0читіи, гlетъ гDь.

Thus saith the Lord; For three sins of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away from them; because they took prisoners the captivity of Solomon, to shut them up into Idumea.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz гaзы и3 за четhри не tвращyсz и4хъ, за є4же плэни1ти и5мъ плэнeніе соломHне, є4же заключи1ти во їдумeю:

And I will send forth a fire on the walls of Gaza, and it shall devour its foundations.	и3 послю2 џгнь на забр†ла гaзы, и3 поsстъ њсновaніе є3S:

And I will destroy the inhabitants out of Azotus, and a tribe shall be cut off from Ascalon, and I will stretch out my hand upon Accaron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord.	и3 потреблю2 живyщыz и3з8 ґзHта, и3 и3звeржетсz плeмz и3з8 ґскалHна, и3 наведY рyку мою2 на ґккарHна, и3 поги1бнутъ њстaточніи и3ноплемeнникwвъ, гlетъ гDь.

Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away from it; because they shut up the prisoners of Solomon into Idumea, and remembered not the covenant of brethren.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz тЂрwва и3 за четhри не tвращyсz є3гw2, понeже заключи1ша плённики соломw6ни во їдумeю и3 не помzнyша завёта брaтнz:

And I will send forth a fire on the walls of Tyre, and it shall devour the foundations of it.	и3 послю2 џгнь на забр†ла тЂрwва, и3 поsстъ њснов†ніz є3гw2.

Thus saith the Lord; For three sins of Idumea, and for four, I will not turn away from them; because they pursued their brother with the sword, and destroyed the mother upon the earth, and summoned up his anger for a testimony, and kept up his fury to the end.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz їдумє1йска и3 за четhри не tвращyсz и4хъ, понeже прогнaша брaта своего2 мечeмъ и3 растли1ша мaтерь на земли2, и3 восхи1ти во свидёніе гр0зу свою2, и3 ўстремлeніе своE снабдЁ на побёду:

And I will send forth a fire upon Thaman, and it shall devour the foundations of her walls.	и3 послю2 џгнь въ fемaнъ, и3 поsстъ њснов†ніz њгрaдъ є3гw2.

Thus saith the Lord; For three sins of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away from him; because they ripped up the women with child of the Galaadites, that they might widen their coasts.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz сынHвъ ґммHнихъ и3 за четhри не tвращyсz и4хъ, понeже распорsху и3мyщыz во ўтр0бэ галаадjтwвъ, ћкw да разширsтъ предёлы сво‰:

And I will kindle a fire on the walls of Rabbath, and it shall devour her foundations with shouting in the day of war, and she shall be shaken in the days of her destruction:	и3 разжегY џгнь на забр†ла раввafы, и3 поsстъ њснов†ніz є3S съ в0племъ въ дeнь рaти, и3 потрzсeтсz въ дeнь скончaніz своегw2:

and her kings shall go into captivity, their priests and their rulers together, saith the Lord.	и3 п0йдутъ цaріе є3S въ плёнъ, жерцы2 и4хъ и3 кн‰зи и4хъ вкyпэ, гlетъ гDь.

Thus saith the Lord; For three sins of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away from it; because they burnt the bones of the king of Idumea to lime.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz мw†влz и3 за четhри не tвращyсz є3гw2, понeже сожг0ша кHсти царS їдумeйска въ пeпелъ:

But I will send forth a fire on Moab, and it shall devour the foundations of its cities: and Moab shall perish in weakness, with a shout, and with the sound of a trumpet.	и3 послю2 џгнь на мwaва, и3 поsстъ њснов†ніz градHвъ є3гw2, и3 ќмретъ со безси1ліемъ мwaвъ, съ в0племъ и3 глaсомъ трyбнымъ:

And I will destroy the judge out of her, and slay all her princes with him, saith the Lord.	и3 потреблю2 судію2 и3з8 негw2 и3 вс‰ кн‰зи є3гw2 и3збію2 съ ни1мъ, гlетъ гDь.

Thus saith the Lord; For three sins of the children of Juda, and for four, I will not turn away from him; because they have rejected the law of the Lord, and have not kept his ordinances, and their vain idols which they made, which their fathers followed, caused them to err.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz сынHвъ їyдиныхъ и3 за четhри не tвращyсz и4хъ, понeже tри1нуша зак0нъ гDень и3 повелёній є3гw2 не сохрани1ша, и3 прельсти1ша и5хъ сyєтнаz и4хъ, ±же сотвори1ша, и5мже послёдоваша nтцы2 и4хъ в8слёдъ и4хъ:

And I will send a fire on Juda, and it shall devour the foundations of Jerusalem.	и3 послю2 џгнь на їyду, и3 поsстъ њснов†ніz їеrли6млz.

Thus saith the Lord; For three sins of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away from him; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for sandals,	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: за три2 нечє1стіz ї}лz и3 за четhри не tвращyсz є3гw2, понeже продaша првdнаго на сребрЁ и3 ўб0гаго на сапозёхъ,

wherewith to tread on the dust of the earth, and they have smitten upon the heads of the poor, and have perverted the way of the lowly: and a son and his father have gone in to the same maid, that they might profane the name of their God.	ходsщихъ на прaсэ земнёмъ, и3 біsху пsстію во главы6 ўб0гихъ, и3 пyть смирeнныхъ совращaху: и3 сhнъ и3 nтeцъ є3гw2 влaзzста ко є3ди1нэй рабhни, ћкw да њсквернaвzтъ и4мz бGа своегw2:

And binding their clothes with cords they have made them curtains near the altar, and they have drunk wine gained by extortion in the house of their God.	и3 ри6зы сво‰ свzзyюще ќжами, и3 завBсы творsху держaщыzсz трeбища, и3 віно2 t њболгaній піsху въ домY б0га своегw2.

Nevertheless I cut off the Amorite from before them, whose height was as the height of a cedar, and he was strong as an oak; and I dried up his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.	Ѓзъ же tверг0хъ ґморрeа t лицA и4хъ, є3гHже бЁ высотA ћкоже высотA кeдрова, и3 крёпокъ бsше ћкоже дyбъ, и3 и3зсуши1хъ пл0дъ є3гw2 съ верхA и3 корeніе є3гw2 и3з8 ни1зу.

And I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you about in the desert forty years, that ye should inherit the land of the Amorites.	Ѓзъ же и3звед0хъ вы2 и3з8 земли2 є3гЂпетскіz и3 њбводи1хъ вы2 въ пустhни четhредесzть лётъ, є4же пріsти въ наслёдіе зeмлю ґморрeйску.

And I took of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for consecration. Are not these things so, ye sons of Israel? saith the Lord.	И# поsхъ t сынHвъ вaшихъ во прbр0ки и3 t ю4нотъ вaшихъ во њсвzщeніе: є3дA нёсть си1хъ, сhнове ї}лєвы; гlетъ гDь.

But ye gave the consecrated ones wine to drink; and ye commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.	И# напаsсте њсвzщє1нныz він0мъ и3 прbр0кwмъ заповёдасте глаг0люще: не прорицaйте.

Therefore, behold, I roll under you, as a waggon full of straw is rolled.	Сегw2 рaди, сE, ѓзъ повращY под8 вaми, ћкоже врати1тсz колесни1ца полнA тр0стіz:
14	14
And flight shall perish from the runner, and the strong shall not hold fast his strength, and the warrior shall not save his life:	и3 поги1бнетъ бёгство t скоротекyщагw, и3 крёпкій не ўдержи1тъ крёпости своеS, и3 хрaбрый не спасeтъ души2 своеS,
15	15
and the archer shall not withstand, and he that is swift of foot shall in no wise escape; and the horseman shall not save his life.	и3 стрэлszй и3з8 лyка не постои1тъ, и3 бhстрый ногaма свои1ма не ўцэлёетъ, и3 к0нникъ не спасeтъ души2 своеS,

And the strong shall find no confidence in power: the naked shall flee away in that day, saith the Lord.	и3 крёпкій не њбрsщетъ сeрдца своегw2 въ си1лахъ, нaгъ побёгнетъ въ т0й дeнь, гlетъ гDь.
Chapter 3	Главa G

1	1
Hear ye this word, O house of Israel, which the Lord has spoken concerning you, and against the whole family whom I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying,	Слhшите сл0во сіE, є4же гlа гDь на вы2, д0ме ї}левъ, и3 на всE плeмz, є4же и3звед0хъ и3з8 земли2 є3гЂпетскіz, рекjй:

You especially have I known out of all the families of the earth: therefore will I take vengeance upon you for all your sins.	вaсъ т0чію познaхъ t всёхъ племeнъ на земли2, сегw2 рaди tмщY на вaсъ вс‰ грэхи2 вaшz.

Shall two walk together at all, if they do not know one another?	Е#дA п0йдутъ двA вкyпэ всsкw, ѓще не познaютъ себE;
4	4
Will a lion roar out of his thicket if he has no prey? will a lion's whelp utter his voice at all out of his lair, if he have taken nothing?	и3ли2 возревeтъ лeвъ и3з8 дубрaвы своеS, лови1твы не и3мhй; и3ли2 и3спyститъ глaсъ св0й льви1чищь и3з8 л0жа своегw2 всsкw, ѓще не похи1титъ чесогw2;

Will a bird fall on the earth without a fowler? will a snare be taken up from the earth without having taken anything?	и3ли2 падeтъ пти1ца на зeмлю без8 ловцA; и3ли2 спадeтъ пругло2 на зeмлю, ѓще не и4метъ ничесHже;
6	6
Shall the trumpet sound in the city, and the people not be alarmed? shall there be evil in a city which the Lord has not wrought?	и3ли2 возгласи1тъ трубA во грaдэ, и3 не ўбоsтсz лю1діе; и3ли2 бyдетъ ѕло2 во грaдэ, є4же гDь не сотвори2;

For the Lord God will do nothing, without revealing instruction to his servants the prophets.	Понeже не сотвори1тъ гDь бGъ дёла, ѓще не tкрhетъ наказaніz своегw2 къ рабHмъ свои6мъ прbр0кwмъ.
8	8
A lion shall roar, and who will not be alarmed? the Lord God has spoken, and who will not prophesy?	Лeвъ возревeтъ, и3 кто2 не ўбои1тсz; гDь бGъ гlа, и3 кто2 не проречeтъ;

Proclaim it to the regions among the Assyrians, and to the regions of Egypt, and say, Gather yourselves to the mountain of Samaria, and behold many wonderful things in the midst of it, and the oppression that is in it.	Повёдите странaмъ во ґссmрjанэхъ и3 во странaхъ є3гЂпетскихъ и3 рцhте: собери1тесz на г0ру самарjйскую и3 ви1дите чудє1снаz мнHга средЁ є3S и3 наси1льство є4же въ нeй.

And she knew not what things would come against her, saith the Lord, even those that store up wrong and misery in their countries.	И# не ўразумЁ, ±же бyдутъ проти1ву є4й, гlетъ гDь, сокр0вищствующіи непрaвду и3 стрaсть въ сeлэхъ свои1хъ.
11	11
Therefore thus saith the Lord God; O Tyre, thy land shall be made desolate round about thee; and he shall bring down thy strength out of thee, and thy countries shall be spoiled.	Сегw2 рaди сі‰ гlетъ гDь бGъ: тЂре, w4крестъ землS твоS њпустёетъ, и3 tи1метъ t тебє2 крёпость твою2, и3 разгрaбzтсz страны6 тво‰.

Thus saith the Lord; As when a shepherd rescues from the mouth of a lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so shall be drawn forth the children of Israel who dwell in Samaria in the presence of a foreign tribe, and in Damascus.	Сі‰ гlетъ гDь: ћкоже пастyхъ, є3гдA и3ст0ргнетъ t ќстъ льв0выхъ двЁ г0лєни, и3ли2 њбyшіе ќха, тaкw и3ст0ргнутсz сhнове ї}лєвы живyщіи въ самарjи прsмw плeмене и3 въ дамaсцэ.

Hear, O ye priests, and testify to the house of Jacob, saith the Lord God Almighty.	Жерцы2, послyшайте и3 засвидётелствуйте д0му їaкwвлю, гlетъ гDь бGъ вседержи1тель:

For in the day wherein I shall take vengeance of the sins of Israel upon him, I will also take vengeance on the altars of Bæthel: and the horns of the altar shall be broken down, and they shall fall upon the ground.	понeже въ дeнь, є3гдA tмщY нечє1стіz ї}лєва на нeмъ, и3 tмщY на трeбищихъ веfи1лихъ, и3 раскопaю р0ги трeбища, и3 падyтсz на зeмлю:

I will crush and smite the turreted-house upon the summer-house; and the ivory-houses shall be destroyed, and many other houses also, saith the Lord.	сокрушY и3 поражY д0мъ съ преклBты съ д0момъ лётнимъ, и3 поги1бнутъ д0мове к0сти слон0выz, и3 потребsтсz и3 друзjи д0мове мн0зи, гlетъ гDь.
Chapter 4	Главa д7

Hear ye this word, ye heifers of the land of Basan that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, and trample on the needy, which say to their masters, Give us that we may drink.	Слhшите сл0во сіE, ю4ницы васаніт‡дскіz, ±же въ горЁ самарjйстэй, преwби1дzщыz ўб0гихъ и3 попирaющыz ни1щихъ, глаг0лющыz господє1мъ свои6мъ: подади1те нaмъ, да піeмъ.

The Lord swears by his holiness, that, behold, the days come upon you, when they shall take you with weapons, and fiery destroyers shall cast those with you into boiling caldrons.	Клsтсz гDь с™hми свои1ми, ћкw сE, днjе грzдyтъ на вы2, и3 в0змутъ вы2 во nрyжіи, и3 сyщихъ съ вaми ввeргутъ въ кон0бы подгнэщaємыz џгненніи губи1теліе:

And ye shall be brought forth naked in the presence of each other; and ye shall be cast forth on the mountain Romman, saith the Lord.	и3 и3звeржєны бyдете н†ги прsмw дрyгъ дрyга и3 tвeржетесz въ г0ру реммaнъ, гlетъ гDь.

Ye went into Bæthel, and sinned, and ye multiplied sin at Galgala; and ye brought your meat-offerings in the morning, and your tithes every third day.	Внид0сте въ веfи1ль и3 беззак0нновасте, и3 въ галгaлэхъ ўмн0жисте є4же нечeствовати, и3 принес0сте заyтра трє1бы вaшz, въ тредeнство десzти6ны вaшz:

And they read the law without, and called for public professions: proclaim aloud that the children of Israel have loved these things, saith the Lord.	и3 прочт0ша и3звнЁ зак0нъ и3 призвaша и3сповёданіе: возвэсти1те, ћкw сі‰ возлюби1ша сhнове ї}лєвы, гlетъ гDь бGъ.

And I will give you dulness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet ye returned not to me, saith the Lord.	Ѓзъ же дaмъ вaмъ њск0мину зубHмъ во всёхъ градёхъ вaшихъ и3 недостaтокъ хлёба во всёхъ мёстэхъ вaшихъ: и3 не њбрати1стесz ко мнЁ, гlетъ гDь.

Also I withheld from you the rain three months before the harvest: and I will rain upon one city, and on another city I will not rain: one part shall be rained upon, and the part on which I shall not rain shall be dried up.	И# ѓзъ ўдержaхъ д0ждь t вaсъ прeжде тріeхъ мцcєвъ жaтвы, и3 надождю2 на є3ди1нъ грaдъ, ґ на другjй (є3ди1нъ) не надождю2: чaсть є3ди1на надожди1тсz, и3 чaсть, на ню1же не надождю2, и3зс0хнетъ:

And the inhabitants of two or three cities shall be gathered to one city to drink water, and they shall not be satisfied: yet ye have not returned to me, saith the Lord.	и3 соберyтсz двA и3 три2 гр†да во грaдъ є3ди1нъ пи1ти в0ду и3 не насhтzтсz: и3 не њбрати1стесz ко мнЁ, гlетъ гDь.

I smote you with parching, and with blight: ye multiplied your gardens, your vineyards, and your fig-grounds, and the cankerworm devoured your oliveyards: yet not even thus did ye return to me, saith the Lord.	Поби1хъ вы2 раждежeніемъ и3 златени1цею: ўмн0жисте вертогрaды вaшz, віногрaды вaшz и3 смHквы вaшz и3 м†сличіz в†ша: сі‰ поzд0ша гyсєницы: и3 нижE тaкw њбрати1стесz ко мнЁ, гlетъ гDь.

I sent pestilence among you by the way of Egypt, and slew your young men with the sword, together with thy horses that were taken captive; and in my wrath against you I set fire to your camps: yet not even thus did ye return to me, saith the Lord.	Послaхъ на вы2 смeрть на пути2 є3гЂпетстэмъ, и3 и3зби1хъ nрyжіемъ ю4ношы вaшz, съ плёномъ к0ней твои1хъ, и3 и3звед0хъ во nгни2 полки2 вaшz во гнёвэ моeмъ: и3 нижE тaкw њбрати1стесz ко мнЁ, гlетъ гDь.

I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodoma and Gomorrha, and ye became as a brand plucked out of the fire: yet not even thus did ye return to me, saith the Lord.	Разори1хъ вы2, ћкоже разори2 бGъ сод0му и3 гом0рру, и3 бhсте ћкw главнS и3ст0ржена и3з8 nгнS: и3 нижE тaкw њбрати1стесz ко мнЁ, гlетъ гDь.

Therefore thus will I do to thee, O Israel: nay because I will do thus to thee, prepare to call on thy God, O Israel.	Сегw2 рaди си1це сотворю1 ти, ї}лю: nбaче, ћкw си1це сотворю1 ти, ўгот0висz призывaти бGа твоего2, ї}лю.

For, behold, I am he that strengthens the thunder, and creates the wind, and proclaims to men his Christ, forming the morning and the darkness, and mounting on the high places of the earth, The Lord God Almighty is his name.	СE, ѓзъ ўтвержazй гр0мъ и3 созидazй вётръ и3 возвэщazй въ человёцэхъ хрістA своего2, творsй ќтро и3 мглY и3 восходsй на высHкаz земли2: гDь бGъ вседержи1тель и4мz є3мY.
Chapter 5	Главa є7

Hear ye this word of the Lord, even a lamentation, which I take up against you. The house of Israel is fallen; it shall no more rise.	Слhшите сл0во гDне, и4мже ѓзъ пріeмлю на вы2 плaчь: д0мъ ї}левъ падeсz и3 ктомY не приложи1тъ востaти:

The virgin of Israel has fallen upon his land; there is none that shall raise her up.	дэви1ца ї}лева повeржена на земли2 своeй, нёсть возставлsющагw ю5.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; The city out of which there went forth a thousand, in it there shall be left a hundred, and in that out of which there went forth a hundred, there shall be left ten to the house of Israel.	Понeже сі‰ гlетъ гDь бGъ: и3з8 грaда, и3з8 негHже и3схождaше тhсzща, њстaнетсz въ нeмъ сто2: и3 и3з8 негHже и3схождaше сто2, њстaнетъ въ нeмъ дeсzть д0му ї}леву.

Wherefore thus saith the Lord to the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.	Понeже сі‰ гlетъ гDь къ д0му ї}леву: взыщи1те менE и3 поживетE:
5	5
But seek not Bæthel, and go not in to Galgala, and cross not over to the Well of the Oath: for Galgala shall surely go into captivity, and Bæthel shall be as that which is not.	ґ не взыскyйте веfи1лz и3 въ галгaлу не входи1те и3 ко клaдzзю клsтвы не ходи1те, ћкw галгaла плэнsема плэни1тсz, и3 веfи1ль бyдетъ ѓки не бhвъ.

Seek ye the Lord, and ye shall live; lest the house of Joseph blaze as fire, and it devour him, and there shall be none to quench it for the house of Israel.	Взыщи1те гDа и3 поживетE, ћкw да не возжжeтсz ћкw џгнь д0мъ їHсифовъ, и3 поsстъ є3го2, и3 не бyдетъ ўгашaющагw д0му ї}лева.

It is he that executes judgment in the height above, and he has established justice on the earth:	ГDь творsй въ высотY сyдъ и3 прaвду на земли2 положи2:
8	8
who makes all things, and changes them, and turns darkness into the morning, and darkens the day into night: who calls for the water of the sea, and pours it out on the face of the earth: the Lord is his name:	творsй вс‰ и3 претворszй, и3 њбращazй во ќтро сёнь смeртную и3 дeнь въ н0щь помрачazй, призывazй в0ду морскyю и3 разливazй ю5 на лицE земли2:

who dispenses ruin to strength, and brings distress upon the fortress.	гDь бGъ вседержи1тель и4мz є3мY: раздэлszй сокрушeніе на крёпость и3 бёдство на твердhню наводsй.

They hated him that reproved in the gates, and abhorred holy speech.	Возненави1дэша ў врaтъ наказyющаго, и3 сл0вомъ првdнымъ возгнушaшасz.

Therefore because they have smitten the poor with their fists, and ye have received of them choice gifts; ye have built polished houses, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted desirable vineyards, but ye shall not drink the wine of them. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord God Almighty shall be with you, as ye have said,	Взыщи1те добрA, ґ не ѕлA, ћкw да поживетE, и3 бyдетъ тaкw съ вaми гDь бGъ вседержи1тель, ћкоже рёсте:

We have hated evil, and loved good: and restore ye judgment in the gates; that the Lord God Almighty may have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.	возненави1дэхомъ ѕл†z и3 возлюби1хомъ дHбраz: и3 возстaвите ў врaтъ сyдъ, ћкw да поми1луетъ гDь бGъ вседержи1тель њст†вшаz їHсифwва.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God Almighty; In all the streets shall be lamentations; and in all the ways shall it be said, Woe, woe! the husbandman shall be called to mourning and lamentation, and to them that are skilled in complaining. Woe to you that desire the day of the Lord! what is this day of the Lord to you? whereas it is darkness, and not light.	Ўвы2 лю1тэ желaющымъ днE гDнz! вскyю вaмъ сeй дeнь гDень; сeй бо є4сть тмA, ґ не свётъ:

As if a man should flee from the face of a lion, and a bear should meet him; and he should spring into his house, and lean his hands upon the wall, and a serpent should bite him.	ћкоже ѓще ўбэжи1тъ человёкъ t лицA львA, и3 нападeтъ нaнь медвёдица: и3 вск0читъ въ д0мъ и3 њпрeтсz рукaма свои1ма њ стёну, и3 ўсёкнетъ є3го2 ѕміS.

I hate, I reject your feasts, and I will not smell your meat-offerings in your general assemblies.	Возненави1дэхъ и3 tверг0хъ прaздники вaшz и3 не њбонsю жeртвъ въ с0нмэхъ вaшихъ:

Wherefore if ye should bring me your whole-burnt-sacrifices and meat-offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I have respect to your grand peace-offerings.	занE ѓще принесeте ми2 всесожжє1ніz и3 жє1ртвы вaшz, не пріимY, и3 на спаси1тєлнаz kвлeніz вaшегw не призрю2.

Remove from me the sound of thy songs, and I will not hear the music of thine instruments.	Tстaви t менє2 глaсъ пёсней твои1хъ, и3 пёсни nргaнwвъ твои1хъ не послyшаю.

But let judgment roll down as water, and righteousness as an impassable torrent.	И# повaлитсz ћкоже водA сyдъ, и3 прaвда ћкоже водотeча непрох0дна.

Have ye offered to me victims and sacrifices, O house of Israel, forty years in the wilderness?	Е#дA заколє1ніz и3 трє1бы принес0сте ми2 въ пустhни лётъ четhредесzть, д0ме ї}левъ;

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Ræphan, the images of them which ye made for yourselves.	И# воспріsсте ски1нію мол0хову и3 ѕвэздY б0га вaшегw ремфaна, w4бразы, ±же сотвори1сте себЁ.

Woe to them that set at nought Sion, and that trust in the mountain of Samaria: they have gathered the harvest of the heads of the nations, and they have gone in themselves.	Лю1тэ ўничижaющымъ сіHна и3 ўповaющымъ на г0ру самарjйскую: њб8имaша начaтки kзhкwвъ, и3 внид0ша къ ни6мъ д0мъ ї}левъ.

O house of Israel, pass by all of you, and see; and pass by thence to Ematrabba; and thence descend to Geth of the Philistines, the chief of all these kingdoms, see if their coasts are greater than your coasts. who sleep upon beds of ivory, and live delicately on their couches, and eat kids out of the flocks, and sucking calves out of the midst of the stalls;	спsщіи на nдрёхъ t костeй слон0выхъ и3 ласкосeрдствующіи на постeлехъ свои1хъ, kдyщіи кHзлища t пaствъ и3 телцы2 млек0мъ питaємы t среды2 стaдъ:

who excel in the sound of musical instruments; they have regarded them as abiding, not as fleeting pleasures;	плeщущіи ко глaсу пищaлей, ѓки стоsща мнёша, ґ не ћкw бэжaща:

who drink strained wine, and anoint themselves with the best ointment: and have suffered nothing on occasion of the calamity of Joseph.	пію1щіи процэжeное віно2 и3 пeрвыми вонsми мaжущіисz, и3 не страдaху ничес0же въ сокрушeніи їHсифовэ.

Therefore now shall they depart into captivity from the dominion of princes, and the neighing of horses shall be cut off from Ephraim.	Сегw2 рaди нн7э плBнницы бyдутъ t начaла си1льныхъ, и3 tи1метсz ржaніе к0нско t є3фрeма.

For the Lord has sworn by himself, saying, Because I abhor all the pride of Jacob, I do also hate his countries, and I will cut off his city with all who inhabit it.	Ћкw клsтсz гDь соб0ю, гlетъ гDь бGъ си1лъ: понeже гнушaюсz ѓзъ всeю ўкори1зною їaкwва и3 сeла є3гw2 возненави1дэхъ, и3 tвeргу грaдъ со всёми живyщими въ нeмъ.

And it shall come to pass, if there be ten men left in one house, that they shall die.	И# бyдетъ, ѓще њстaнутсz дeсzть мужeй во є3ди1нэмъ домY, ќмрутъ, и3 њстaнутсz њстaточніи:

But a remnant shall be left behind, and their relations shall take them, and shall strenuously endeavour to carry forth their bones from the house: and one shall say to the heads of the house, Is there yet any one else with thee? And he shall say, No one else. And the other shall say, Be silent, that thou name not the name of the Lord.	и3 в0змутъ свои2 и4хъ, и3 понyдzтсz и3знести2 кHсти и4хъ и3з8 д0му. И# речeтъ настоsтелємъ д0му: є3щe ли є4сть ў тебE; И# речeтъ: нёсть є3щE. И# речeтъ: молчи2, не и3меновaніz рaди и4мене гDнz.

For, behold, the Lord commands, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with rents.	Понeже, сE, гDь заповёдаетъ и3 побіeтъ д0мъ вели1кій толчeніемъ и3 д0мъ мaлый разсэдeніемъ.

Will horses run upon rocks? will they refrain from neighing at mares? for ye have turned judgment into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness:	Ѓще поженyтъ въ кaменіzхъ к0ни; и3 ѓще ўм0лкнутъ въ жeнстэмъ п0лу; ћкw њбрати1сте на гнёвъ сyдъ, и3 пл0дъ прaвды на г0ресть,

ye who rejoice at vanity, who say, Have we not possessed horns by our own strength?	веселsщіисz ни њ є3ди1нэмъ сл0вэ блaзэ, глаг0лющіи: не крёпостію ли нaшею и4мамы р0ги;

For behold, O house of Israel, I will raise up against you a nation, saith the Lord of hosts; and they shall afflict you so that ye shall not enter into Æmath, and as it were from the river of the wilderness.	Тёмже, сE, ѓзъ воздви1гну на вы2, д0ме ї}левъ, kзhкъ, гlетъ гDь бGъ си1лъ, и3 сокрушaтъ вaсъ є4же не вни1ти во є3мafъ и3 до водотeчи зaпадwвъ.

Thus has the Lord God shewed me; and, behold, a swarm of locusts coming from the east; and, behold, one caterpillar, king Gog.	Си1це показa ми гDь бGъ, и3 сE, припл0дъ прyжій и3дhй ќтренній, и3 сE, гyсеница, є3ди1нъ гHгъ цaрь.

And it came to pass when he had finished devouring the grass of the land, that I said, Lord God, be merciful; who shall raise up Jacob? for he is small in number.	И# бyдетъ, ѓще скончaетъ kдhй травY земнyю, и3 рёхъ: гDи, гDи, млcтивъ бyди, кто2 возстaвитъ їaкwва; ћкw мaлъ є4сть.

Repent, O Lord, for this. And this shall not be, saith the Lord.	Раскaйсz њ сeмъ, гDи: и3 сіE не бyдетъ, гlетъ гDь.

Thus has the Lord shewed me; and, behold, the Lord called for judgment by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and devoured the Lord's portion.	Си1це показa ми гDь, и3 сE, призвA прю2 во nгни2 гDь бGъ, и3 поzдE бeздну мн0гу, и3 поzдE чaсть.

Then I said, O Lord, cease, I pray thee: who shall raise up Jacob? for he is small in number. Repent, O Lord, for this.	И# рёхъ: гDи, гDи, престaни нн7э, кто2 возстaвитъ їaкwва; ћкw мaлъ є4сть.

This also shall not be, saith the Lord.	Раскaйсz њ сeмъ, гDи: и3 сіE не бyдетъ, гlетъ гDь.

Thus the Lord shewed me; and behold, he stood upon a wall of adamant, and in his hand was an adamant.	Си1це показa ми гDь: и3 сE, мyжъ стоsй на њгрaдэ ґдамaнтовэ, и3 въ руцЁ є3гw2 ґдамaнтъ.

And the Lord said to me, What seest thou, Amos? And I said, An adamant. And the Lord said to me, Behold, I appoint an adamant in the midst of my people Israel: I will not pass by them any more.	И# речE гDь ко мнЁ: что2 ты2 ви1диши, ґмHсе; И# рёхъ: ґдамaнтъ. И# речE гDь ко мнЁ: сE, ѓзъ ўчиню2 ґдамaнта средЁ людjй мои1хъ ї}лz, ктомY не приложY, є4же мимоити2 є3го2:

And the joyful altars shall be abolished, and the sacrifices of Israel shall be set aside; and I will rise up against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.	и3 потребsтсz трє1бища смёха, и3 трє1бы ї}лєвы њпустёютъ, и3 востaну на д0мъ їеровоaмль со nрyжіемъ.

Then Amasias the priest of Bæthel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos is forming conspiracies against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land will be utterly unable to bear all his words.	И# послA ґмасjа жрeцъ веfи1льскій ко їеровоaму царю2 ї}леву глаг0лz: разврaты твори1тъ на тS ґмHсъ средЁ д0му ї}лева, не возм0жетъ землS под8sти всёхъ словeсъ є3гw2,

For thus says Amos, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall be led away captive from his land.	понeже сі‰ глаг0летъ ґмHсъ: nрyжіемъ скончaетсz їеровоaмъ, ї}ль же плэнeнъ tведeтсz t земли2 своеS.

And Amasias said to Amos, Go, seer, remove thou into the land of Juda, and live there, and thou shalt prophesy there:	И# речE ґмасjа ко ґмHсови: ви1дzй грzди2 и3 tиди2 ты2 на зeмлю їyдину, и3 тaмw живи2, и3 тaмw да прорицaеши:

but thou shalt no longer prophesy at Bæthel: for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the royal house.	ґ въ веfи1ли посeмъ не приложи2 прорицaти, ћкw њсвzщeніе царS є4сть и3 д0мъ є4сть цaрства.

And Amos answered, and said to Amasias, I was not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet; but I was a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruits.	И# tвэщA ґмHсъ и3 речE ко ґмасjи: не бёхъ прbр0къ ѓзъ, нижE сhнъ прbр0чь, но пaстырь бёхъ и3 ћгwдичіz њбирaz:

And the Lord took me from the sheep, and the Lord said to me, Go, and prophesy to my people Israel.	и3 поs мz гDь t nвeцъ и3 речE ко мнЁ: и3ди2 и3 прорцы2 на лю1ди мо‰ ї}лz.

And now hear the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not to Israel, and raise not a tumult against the house of Jacob.	И# нн7э слhши сл0во гDне: ты2 глаг0леши: не прорицaй на ї}лz и3 не возмущaй нар0да на д0мъ їaкwвль:

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be a harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be measured with the line; and thou shalt die in an unclean land; and Israel shall be led captive out of his land. And behold a fowler's basket.	Си1це показa ми гDь бGъ: и3 сE, сосyдъ птицел0вца.

And he said, What seest thou, Amos? And I said, A fowler's basket. And the Lord said to me, The end is come upon my people Israel; I will not pass by them any more.	И# речE (гDь): что2 ты2 ви1диши, ґмHсе; И# рёхъ: сосyдъ птицел0вца. И# речE гDь ко мнЁ: приспЁ конeцъ на лю1ди мо‰ ї}лz, не приложY ксемY є4же мимоити2 є3го2.

And the ceilings of the temple shall howl in that day, saith the Lord God: there shall be many a fallen one in every place; I will bring silence upon them.	И# восплaчутсz стр0пове хрaма въ т0й дeнь, гlетъ гDь бGъ: мн0зи пaдшіи во всeмъ мёстэ, навeргу молчaніе.

Hear now this, ye that oppress the poor in the morning, and drive the needy ones by tyranny from the earth,	Слhшите u5бо сі‰, сокрушaющіи и3з8 ќтра ўб0гаго и3 наси1льствующіи ни1щихъ t земли2,

saying, When will the month pass away, and we shall sell, and the sabbath, and we shall open the treasure, to make the measure small, and to enlarge the weight, and make the balance unfair?	глаг0лющіи: когдA прeйдетъ мцcъ, и3 продaмы, и3 (когдA прeйдутъ) суббw6ты, и3 tвeрземъ сокрHвища н†ша, є4же сотвори1ти мёру мaлу, и3 ўвели1чити мёрило, и3 сотвори1ти вёсъ непрaведенъ,

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for shoes; and we will trade in every kind of fruit.	ћкw да притsжемъ ўбHгіz сребр0мъ и3 ни1щаго за сапоги2, и3 t всsкагw жи1та кyплю сотвори1мъ;

The Lord swears against the pride of Jacob, None of your works shall ever be forgotten.	Кленeтсz гDь на през0рство їaкwвле, ѓще забyдетъ въ конeцъ вс‰ дэлA в†ша:

And shall not the land be troubled for these things, and shall not every one who dwells in it mourn? whereas destruction shall come up as a river, and shall descend as the river of Egypt.	и3 њ си1хъ не возмzтeтсz ли землS, и3 восплaчетсz всsкъ живsй на нeй; и3 взhдетъ ћкw рэкA скончaніе (є3S), и3 сни1детъ ћкоже рэкA є3гЂпетскаz.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that the sun shall go down at noon, and the light shall be darkened on the earth by day:	И# бyдетъ въ т0й дeнь, гlетъ гDь бGъ, зaйдетъ с0лнце въ полyдне, и3 помeркнетъ на земли2 въ дeнь свётъ:

and I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth on all loins, and baldness on every head; and I will make them as the mourning of a beloved friend, and those with them as a day of grief.	и3 превращY прaздники вaшz въ жaлость и3 вс‰ пBсни вaшz въ плaчь, и3 возложY на всsкъ хребeтъ врeтище и3 на всsку главY плёшь, и3 положY є3го2 ћкw жaлость люби1магw и3 сyщыz съ ни1мъ ћкw дeнь болёзни.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will send forth a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the word of the Lord.	СE, днjе грzдyтъ, гlетъ гDь, и3 послю2 глaдъ на зeмлю, не глaдъ хлёба, ни жaжду воды2, но глaдъ слhшаніz сл0ва гDнz:

And the waters shall be troubled from sea to sea, and from the north to the east shall men run hither and thither, seeking the word of the Lord, and they shall not find it.	и3 поколeблютсz в0ды t м0рz до м0рz и3 t сёвера до востHкъ, и3 њбтекyтъ и4щуще словесE гDнz, и3 не њбрsщутъ.

In that day shall the fair virgins and the young men faint for thirst;	Въ т0й дeнь њскудёютъ дBвы дHбрыz и3 ю4нwши въ жaжди,

they who swear by the propitiation of Samaria, and who say, Thy god, O Dan, lives; and, Thy god, O Bersabee, lives; and they shall fall, and shall no more rise again.	кленyщіисz њчищeніемъ самарjйскимъ и3 глаг0лющіи: жи1въ б0гъ тв0й, дaне, и3 жи1въ б0гъ тв0й, вирсавeе. I saw the Lord standing on the altar: and he said, Smite the mercy-seat, and the porch shall be shaken: and cut through into the heads of all; and I will slay the remnant of them with the sword: no one of them fleeing shall escape, and no one of them striving to save himself shall be delivered.	Ви1дэхъ гDа стоsща на жeртвенницэ, и3 речE: порази2 њчисти1лище, и3 поколeблютсz преддвє1ріz, и3 пресэцы2 въ главы6 всёхъ: и3 њстaвшыz и4хъ nрyжіемъ и3збію2, не ўбэжи1тъ t ни1хъ бэжaй, и3 не ўцэлёетъ t ни1хъ ўцэлэвazй:

Though they hide themselves in hell, thence shall my hand drag them forth; and though they go up to heaven, thence will I bring them down.	ѓще сокрhютсz во ѓдэ, то2 и3 tтyду рукA моS и3ст0ргнетъ \|, и3 ѓще взhдутъ на нeбо, то2 и3 tтyду свeргу \|:

If they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, thence will I search them out and take them; and if they should go down from my presence into the depths of the sea, there will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.	и3 ѓще скрhютсz на версЁ карми1ла, то2 и3 tтyду взыщY и3 возмY \|, и3 ѓще погрузsтсz t џчію моє1ю во глубинaхъ морски1хъ, то2 и3 тaмw повелю2 ѕмjеви, и3 ўгрызeтъ \|:

And if they should go into captivity before the face of their enemies, there will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes against them for evil, and not for good.	и3 ѓще п0йдутъ въ плёнъ пред8 лицeмъ вр†гъ свои1хъ, и3 тaмw повелю2 nрyжію, и3 и3збіeтъ и5хъ: и3 ўтвержY џчи мои2 на ни1хъ во ѕл†z, ґ не во благ†z.

And the Lord, the Lord God Almighty, is he that takes hold of the land, and causes it to shake, and all that inhabit it shall mourn; and its destruction shall go up as a river, and shall descend as the river of Egypt.	И# гDь бGъ вседержи1тель прикасazйсz земли2 и3 колeблz є4ю, и3 возрыдaютъ вси2 живyщіи на нeй, и3 взhдетъ ћкw рэкA скончaніе є3S, и3 сни1детъ ћкw рэкA є3гЂпетскаz:

It is he that builds his ascent up to the sky, and establishes his promise on the earth; who calls the water of the sea, and pours it out on the face of the earth; the Lord Almighty is his name.	сотворszй на нeбо восх0дъ св0й и3 њбэщaніе своE на земли2 њсновazй, призывazй в0ду морскyю и3 проливazй ю5 на лицE земли2: гDь бGъ вседержи1тель и4мz є3мY.

Are not ye to me as the sons of the Ethiopians, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. Did I not bring Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Cappadocia, and the Syrians out of the deep?	Не ћкоже ли сhнове є3fі0пстіи вы2 є3стE мнЁ, сhнове ї}лєвы; гlетъ гDь. Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the kingdom of sinners, and I will cut it off from the face of the earth; only I will not utterly cut off the house of Jacob, saith the Lord.	СE, џчи гDа бGа на цaрство грёшныхъ, и3 tвeргу є5 t лицA земли2: nбaче не въ конeцъ tвeргу д0мъ ї}левъ, гlетъ гDь.

For I will give commandment, and sift the house of Israel among all the Gentiles, as corn is sifted in a sieve, and yet a fragment shall not in any wise fall upon the earth.	Понeже, сE, ѓзъ заповёдаю и3 развёю д0мъ ї}левъ во вс‰ kзhки, ћкоже вёетсz на вёzлэ, и3 не падeтъ сотрeніе на зeмлю.

All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, Calamities shall certainly not draw near, nor come upon us.	Nрyжіемъ скончaютсz вси2 грёшніи людjй мои1хъ, глаг0лющіи: не прибли1жатсz, ни пріи1дутъ на нaсъ ѕл†z.

In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and will rebuild the ruins of it, and will set up the parts thereof that have been broken down, and will build it up as in the ancient days:	Въ т0й дeнь возстaвлю ски1нію давjдову пaдшую, и3 возграждY п†дшаz є3S, и3 раскHпанаz є3S возстaвлю, и3 возграждY ю5 ћкоже днjе вёка:

that the remnant of men, and all the Gentiles upon whom my name is called, may earnestly seek me, saith the Lord who does all these things.	ћкw да взhщутъ менE њстaвшіисz человёцы и3 вси2 kзhцы, въ ни1хже призвaсz и4мz моE въ ни1хъ, гlетъ гDь творsй сі‰ вс‰.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when the harvest shall overtake the vintage, and the grapes shall ripen at seedtime; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall be planted.	СE, днjе грzдyтъ, гlетъ гDь, и3 пости1гнетъ жaтва њб8имaніе віногрaда, и3 созрёетъ гр0здіе въ сёzтву, и3 и3скaпаютъ г0ры слaдость, и3 вси2 х0лми насаждeни бyдутъ:

And I will turn the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities, and shall inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and shall drink the wine from them; and they shall form gardens, and eat the fruit of them.	и3 возвращY плёнъ людjй мои1хъ ї}лz, и3 возградsтъ грaды разорє1ныz, и3 населsтсz, и3 насадsтъ віногрaды и3 и3спію1тъ віно2 и4хъ, и3 сотворsтъ вертогрaды и3 снэдsтъ пл0дъ и4хъ:

And I will plant them on their land, and they shall no more be plucked up from the land which I have given them, saith the Lord God Almighty.	и3 насаждY \| на земли2 и4хъ, и3 не и3ст0ргнутсz ктомY t земли2 своеS, ю4же дaхъ и5мъ, гlетъ гDь бGъ вседержи1тель.
