So when Esdras had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and praying before the house of God, a very great assembly of Israel came together to him, men and women and youths; for the people wept, and wept aloud.	И# є3гдA молsшесz є4здра и3 є3гдA и3сповёдашесz плaчущь и3 молsсz пред8 д0момъ б9іимъ, собрaшасz къ немY t ї}лz собрaніе вeліе ѕэлw2, мyжіе и3 жєны2 и3 џтроцы ћкw плaкахусz лю1діе и3 вознес0ша плaчь.

And Sechenias the son of Jeel, of the sons of Elam, answered and said to Esdras, We have broken covenant with our God, and have taken strange wives of the nations of the land: yet now there is patience of hope to Israel concerning this thing.	И# tвэщA сехенjа сhнъ їеи1левъ t сынHвъ и3лaмлихъ и3 речE є4здрэ: мы2 преступи1хомъ пред8 бGомъ нaшимъ и3 поsхомъ жєны2 чужд‡z t людjй земли2, и3 нн7э є4сть ўповaніе ї}лю њ сeмъ:

Now then let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and their offspring, as thou shalt advise:	и3 нн7э завэщaемъ завётъ бGу нaшему, да tвeржемъ вс‰ жєны2 и3 рождeныхъ t ни1хъ, ћкоже х0щетъ: востaни и3 ўстраши2 и5хъ зaповэдьми бGа нaшегw, и3 по зак0ну да бyдетъ:

arise, and alarm them with the commands of our God; and let it be done according to the law. Rise up, for the matter is upon thee; and we are with thee: be strong and do.	востaни, понeже на тебЁ є4сть глаг0лъ, и3 мы2 съ тоб0ю: ўкрэпи1сz и3 сотвори2.

Then Esdras arose, and caused the rulers, the priests, and Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they would do according to this word: and they swore.	И# востA є4здра, и3 заклS кн‰зи, свzщeнники и3 леvjты и3 всего2 ї}лz, да сотворsтъ по словеси2 семY. И# клsшасz.

And Esdras rose up from before the house of God, and went to the treasury of Joanan the son of Elisub; he even went thither: he ate no bread, and drank no water; for he mourned over the unfaithfulness of them of the captivity.	И# востA є4здра t лицA д0му б9іz и3 и4де въ сокр0вищный д0мъ їwнaна сhна є3лісyвова и3 сёде тaмw: хлёба не kдE и3 воды2 не пи2, плaкаше бо њ преступлeніи пришeдшихъ t плэнeніz.

And they made proclamation throughout Juda and Jerusalem to all the children of the captivity, that they should assemble at Jerusalem, saying,	И# п0слано бhсть сл0во во їудeю и3 во їеrли1мъ всBмъ сыновHмъ преселeніz, да соберyтсz во їеrли1мъ:

Every one who shall not arrive within three days, as is the counsel of the rulers and the elders, all his substance shall be forfeited, and he shall be separated from the congregation of the captivity.	всsкъ, и4же ѓще не пріи1детъ въ три2 дни6, по совёту кнzзeй и3 старёйшинъ, в0зметсz всE и3мёніе є3гw2, и3 т0й tлучeнъ бyдетъ t с0нмища преселeніz.

So all the men of Juda and Benjamin assembled at Jerusalem within the three days. This was the ninth month: on the twentieth day of the month all the people sat down in the street of the house of the Lord, because of their alarm concerning the word, and because of the storm.	И# собрaшасz вси2 мyжіе ї{дины и3 веніам‡ни во їеrли1мъ трeми дeнми: сeй є4сть мцcъ девsтый: въ двадесsтый дeнь мцcа сэд0ша вси2 лю1діе пред8 д0момъ б9іимъ трепeщуще њ словеси2 и3 t зимы2.

And Esdras the priest arose, and said to them, Ye have broken covenant, and have taken strange wives, to add to the trespass of Israel.	И# востA є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 речE къ ни6мъ: вы2 преступи1сте и3 взsсте жєны2 и3ноплемє1ннически, є4же приложи1ти ко грэхY ї}леву:

Now therefore give praise to the Lord God of our fathers, and do that which is pleasing in his sight: and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the strange wives.	и3 нн7э дади1те хвалY гDу бGу nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и3 сотвори1те ўг0дное пред8 ни1мъ, и3 tлучи1тесz t людjй земли2 и3 t жeнъ и3ноплемeнническихъ.

Then all the congregation answered and said, This thy word is powerful upon us to do it.	И# tвэщaша всE мн0жество глaсомъ вели1кимъ и3 рёша: по словеси2 твоемY къ нaмъ сотвори1мъ:

But the people is numerous, and the season is stormy, and there is no power to stand without, and the work is more than enough for one day or for two; for we have greatly sinned in this matter.	nбaче лю1діе мн0зи сyть, и3 врeмz зи1мнее, и3 нёсть м0щно стоsти внЁ: и3 дёло нёсть днE є3ди1нагw и3ли2 двyхъ, ѕэлw2 бо мн0гw согрэши1хомъ во словеси2 сeмъ:

Let now our rulers stand, and for all those in our cities who have taken strange wives, let them come at appointed times, and with them elders from every several city, and judges, to turn away the fierce wrath of our God from us concerning this matter.	да постaвzтсz кнsзіе нaши во всeмъ мн0жествэ и3 во всёхъ градёхъ нaшихъ, и5же поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, да пріи1дутъ во временA повєлённаz, и3 съ ни1ми старBйшины t всsкагw грaда и3 судіи6, є4же tврати1ти гнёвъ ћрости бGа нaшегw t нaсъ словесE рaди сегw2.

Only Jonathan the son of Asael, and Jazias the son of Thecoe were with me concerning this; and Mesollam, and Sabbathai the Levite helped them.	Nбaче їwнаfaнъ сhнъ ґсаи1левъ и3 їaсса сhнъ fекyевъ со мн0ю њ сeмъ, и3 месоллaмъ и3 саваfaй леvjтинъ помагazй и5мъ.

And the children of the captivity did thus: and Esdras the priest, and heads of families according to their house were separated, and all by their names, for they returned in the first day of the tenth month to search out the matter.	И# сотвори1ша тaкw сhнове преселeніz: и3 разыд0шасz є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 мyжіе кнsзіе nтeчествъ въ д0мы, и3 вси2 по и3менHмъ, ћкw њбрати1шасz въ дeнь пeрвый мцcа десsтагw, да взhщутъ глаг0ла:

And they made an end with all the men who had taken strange wives by the first day of the first month.	и3 соверши1ша во всёхъ мужeхъ, и5же поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, дaже до днE пeрвагw мцcа пeрвагw.

And there were found some of the sons of the priests who had taken strange wives: of the sons of Jesus the son of Josedec, and his brethren; Maasia, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gadalia.	И# њбрётени сyть t сынHвъ свzщeнническихъ и5же введ0ша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, t сынHвъ їисyса сhна їwседeкова и3 брaтіz є3гw2 маасjа и3 є3ліезeръ, и3 їари1мъ и3 гадалjа:

And they pledged themselves to put away their wives, and offered a ram of the flock for a trespass-offering because of their trespass.	и3 дaша рyки сво‰ и3згони1ти жєны2 сво‰, и3 согрэши1вшіи принес0ша t nвeцъ њ преступлeніи своeмъ nвнA:

And of the sons of Emmer; Anani, and Zabdia.	и3 t сынHвъ є3мми1ровыхъ ґнанjй и3 завдjа:

And of the sons of Eram; Masael, and Elia, and Samaia, and Jeel, and Ozia.	и3 t сынHвъ и3рaмлихъ маасjа и3 є3ллjа, и3 самjа и3 їеіи1лъ и3 nзjа:

And of the sons of Phasur; Elionai, Maasia, and Ismael, and Nathanael, and Jozabad, and Elasa.	и3 t сынHвъ фассyровыхъ є3ліwинaй, маасjа и3 їсмaилъ, и3 наfанaель и3 їwзавaдъ и3 и3ласA:

And of the Levites; Jozabad, and Samu, and Colia (he is Colitas,) and Phetheia, and Judas, and Eliezer.	и3 t леvjтwвъ їwзавaдъ и3 fамyй и3 кwлjа, т0йже и3 кwлjтъ, и3 феfеjа, и3 їyда и3 є3ліeзеръ:

And of the singers; Elisab: and of the porters; Solmen, and Telmen, and Oduth.	и3 t пэвцє1въ є3лісaвъ: и3 t двє1рникъ солми1нъ и3 телми1нъ и3 nдyа:

Also of Israel: of the sons of Phoros; Ramia, and Azia, and Melchia, and Meamin, and Eleazar, and Asabia, and Banaia.	и3 t ї}лz, t сынHвъ фор0совыхъ рамjа и3 ґзjа, и3 мелхjа и3 мелми1нъ, и3 є3ліазaръ и3 ґсавjа и3 ванeа:

And of the sons of Helam; Matthania, and Zacharia, and Jaïel, and Abdia, and Jarimoth, and Elia.	и3 t сынHвъ и3лaмовыхъ матfанjа и3 захaріа, и3 їаіи1лъ и3 ґвдjй, и3 їерімHfъ и3 и3лjа:

And of the sons of Zathua; Elionai, Elisub, Matthanai, and Armoth, and Zabad, and Oziza.	и3 t сынHвъ заfyевыхъ є3ліwнaй, є3лісyвъ, маfанaй и3 ґрмHfъ, и3 завaдъ и3 nзізA:

And of the sons of Babei; Joanan, Anania, and Zabu, and Thali.	и3 t сынHвъ вавeиныхъ їwнaнъ, ґнанjа и3 завyй и3 fалJ:

And of the sons of Banui; Mosollam, Maluch, Adaias, Jasub, and Saluia, and Remoth.	и3 t сынHвъ ванyевыхъ мосоллaмъ, маллyхъ, ґдаjа, їасyвъ и3 саaлъ и3 римHfъ:

And of the sons of Phaath Moab; Edne, and Chalel, and Banaia, Maasia, Matthania, Beseleel, and Banui, and Manasse.	и3 t сынHвъ фаafъ-мwaвлихъ є3днeа и3 хали1лъ и3 ванаjа, маасjа, матfанjа, веселеи1лъ и3 ванyй и3 манассjи:

And of the sons of Eram; Eliezer, Jesia, Melchia, Samaias, Semeon,	и3 t сынHвъ и3рaмовыхъ є3ліезeръ, їесjа, мелхjа, самаjа, семеHнъ,

Benjamin, Baluch, Samaria.	веніамjнъ, малyхъ, самарjа:

Machadnabu, Sesei, Sariu,	махнадA, ґвусесeй,

Ezriel, and Selemia, and Samaria,	ґруесріи1лъ и3 самарjа,

and Sellum, Amaria, Joseph.	селлyмъ, ґмарjа, їHсифъ:

Of the sons of Nabu; Jael, Matthanias, Zabad, Zebennas, Jadai, and Joel, and Banaia.	t сынHвъ навyиныхъ їеіи1лъ, маfаfjа, завaдъ, зевенaй, їадaй и3 їwи1ль и3 ванeа.

All these had taken strange wives, and had begotten sons of them.	Вси2 тjи поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1ннически, и3 роди1ша t ни1хъ сhны.
