And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
|
И$ по семъ въздвиго'шася лю'дїе эT а^сљ=ро'џа. и^ въполчи'шася въ пђсты'ни џара'нњ”
|

|
Send for thee men, and let them spy the land of the Chananites, which I give to the sons of Israel for a possession; one man for a tribe, thou shalt send them away according to their families, every one of them a prince.
|
И$ рече г~ь къ мољ=сїю гл~я.
|
|

|
|
And Moses sent them out of the wilderness of Pharan by the word of the Lord; all these were the princes of the sons of Israel.
|
посли` эT себе мђ'жи, да съгляда'ют# зе'млю ханаа'ньскђ, ю%же а^зъ даю` сн~омъ і^и~лвомъ въ дръжа'вђ, мђж'а е^ді'наго эT племе'ни, по соньмоM эTч~ьства иX. да послеши эT иX вс^я старњи^шины иX”

And these are their names: of the tribe of Ruben, Samuel the son of Zachur.

И$ посла` я& мољ=сїи. эT пђсты'ня џара'ня, гл~омъ гн~иM. вс^и мђж'и старњи'шины сн~овъ і^и~леv сїи” И$ сїя и^мена` иX.

Of the tribe of Symeon, Saphat the son of Suri.
|
эT племе'ни рђви'мля самїи'лъ сн~ъ закхђсовъ”
|

|
Of the tribe of Judah, Chaleb the son of Jephonne.
|
эT племе'ни сїмеѓ'ня, сафатъ сн~ъ сђ'ринь”
|
|

|
Of the tribe of Issachar, Ilaal the son of Joseph.
|
эT племе'ни і^ю'дина, халеv, сн~ъ и^е^фо'нинъ”
|
|

|
|
Of the tribe of Ephraim, Ause the son of Naue.
|
эT племе'ни и^саха'ря и^гаD сн~ъ і^ѓ'сифль”

|
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Phalti the son of Raphu.
|
эT племе'ни е^фрњмля а^вси'съ сн~ъ на'винъ”

Of the tribe of Zabulon, Gudiel the son of Sudi.
|
эT племе'ни веньа'миня фалтїи сн~ъ рафђи'левъ”
|

Of the tribe of Joseph of the sons of Manasse, Gaddi the son of Susi.
|
эT племе'ни заё^ло'ня, гђдїиль сн~ъ сђдїи”

|
Of the tribe of Dan, Amiel the son of Gamali.
|
эT племе'ни і^ѓ'сифля сн~овъ манасїи^нъ, гаDди сн~ъ сђси'нъ”

Of the tribe of Aser, Sathur the son of Michael.
|
эT племе'ни да'нова а^мїиль сн~ъ гама'ли”

Of the tribe of Nephthali, Nabi the son of Sabi.

эT племе'ни а^сирова, саџђ'ръ, сн~ъ миха'иль”

|
Of the tribe of Gad, Gudiel the son of Macchi.
|
эT племе'ни нефџали'мля. наа^вїи, сн~ъ са'ви.
|
|

|
|
These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land; and Moses called Ause the son of Naue, Joshua.
|
эT племе'ни га'дова гђдїи'ль, сн~ъ махїиль”
|

|
And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Chanaan, and said to them, Go up by this wilderness; and ye shall go up to the mountain,
|
Сїя же и^мена` мђжъ, ја^же посла` мољ=сїи, съгляда'ти земля` ханаа'ньски” И$ прозва` мољ=сїи а^всїа сн~а на'вина і^сђ'съ”

|
and ye shall see the land, what it is, and the people that dwells on it, whether it is strong or weak, or whether they are few or many.
|
И$ посла` я& мољ=сїи эT пђсты'ни а^а^ро'на съгляда'ти земля` ханаа'ньскїя” И$ рече к ни'мъ взы'дите пђсты'нею се'ю, и^ да възы'дите на горђ`”

|
And what the land is on which they dwell, whether it is good or bad; and what the cities are wherein these dwell, whether they dwell in walled cities or unwalled.
|
И$ съгляда'ите зе'млю. какова` е^сть, и^ лю'ди сњдя'щая на не'и, си'лни ли сђть, и^л^и не'мощни. ма'ло ли и^хъ е^сть, и^л^и много”

|
And what the land is, whether rich or poor; whether there are trees in it or no: and ye shall persevere and take of the fruits of the land: and the days were the days of spring, the forerunners of the grape.
|
И$л^и какова е^сть земля`, на не'иже сїи сњдя'тъ, добра` л^и е^сть и^л^и зла. и^ какови гра'ди в нихъ же живђтъ сїи, ѓ^гражде'ни ли сђть и^л^и неѓ^гражде'ни”

And they went up and surveyed the land from the wilderness of Sin to Rhoob, as men go in to Æmath.
|
И$ какова земля` и^зоѓ^би'лна ли, и^л^и неи^зоѓ^би'лна, сђть ли на не'и саже'ни садо'вїе, и^л^и не сђть, и^ ё^крњпи'вшеся, възмњте эT плода` земли`, дн~и же дн~еи лTњнихъ преD спева'ющимъ ја%годамъ”

And they went up by the wilderness, and departed as far as Chebron; and there was Achiman, and Sessi, and Thelami, the progeny of Enach. Now Chebron was built seven years before Tanin of Egypt.

И$ шед#ше съгляда'ша земля`, эT пђсты'ня си'нь, да'же до ѓ^ровъ, до и^схо'дищъ е^ма'џъ”

|
And they came to the valley of the cluster and surveyed it; and they cut down thence a bough and one cluster of grapes upon it, and bore it on staves, and they took of the pomegranates and the figs.
|
и^ възы'доша въ пђсты'ня, и^ прїидо'ша до хевро'на, и^ та'мо живя'ше а^хима'нъ и^ сесїи, и^ џела'ми, рожде'нїа е^накова, хевро'н# же. вселися сеDмь лњтъ прежде тани'немъ градомъ е^гљ=петьскиM”

And they called that place, The valley of the cluster, because of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
|
и прїидо'ша до де'бри гро'здныя, и^ съгляда'ша ю&, и^ ё^рњзаша эTтђдђ ви'ничинђ съ грезнове'нїемъ е^ді'нђ эT ни'хъ, и^ въздвиго'ша ю& на же'рдь, и^ эT ши'покъ и^ эT смо'ковъ”

And they returned from thence, having surveyed the land, after forty days.
|
и^ назва'ша и& мњсто ѓ%но де'бръ грезно'вная грезна` дњля и^же ё^рњз'аша эTтђ'дњ сн~ове і^и~льтестїи”

|
And they proceeded and came to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Pharan Cades; and they brought word to them and to all the congregation, and they shewed the fruit of the land:
|
и^ възврати'шася эTтђ'дњ. съглядаvше землю, въ м~ дн~їи”

|
and they reported to him, and said, We came into the land into which thou sentest us, a land flowing with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
|
И$ ходи'вше прїидо'ша къ мољ=сїю и^ къ а^а^ро'нђ, и^ къ всемђ` со'нмђ сн~овъ і^и~лвъ, въ пђсты'ню џара'ню въ кади'съ. и^ эTповњ'даша и^мъ сло'во и^ всемђ` со'нмђ, и^ показа'ша и^м# пло'дъ зе'мныи”

Only the nation that dwells upon it is bold, and they have very great and strong walled towns, and we saw there the children of Enach.
|
И$ повњ'даша и^м#, и^ реко'ша. ходи'хоM на' землю на ню'же н^ы посыла'сте, земля' же т^а кипя'щи мле'комъ и^ ме'дом#, и^ с^е плоD е^я`”

|
And Amalec dwells in the land toward the south: and the Chettite and the Evite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite dwells in the hill country: and the Chananite dwells by the sea, and by the river Jordan.

Но^ си'лни лю'ди и^же на не'и живTђ, и^ гра'ди ё^тверже'ни гражде'нїемъ, и^ вели'цы ѕњ'ло. и^ роже'нїе а^на'ково, ви'дњхомъ та'мо”

And Chaleb stayed the people from speaking before Moses, and said to him, Nay, but we will go up by all means, and will inherit it, for we shall surely prevail against them.
|
И$ а^мали'къ та'мо живе'тъ въ земли` эT ю'га. и^ хет#џе'и, и^ е^ве'и, и^ е^вђсе'и, и^ а^морњ'и живђтъ въ гора'хъ, а^ ханане'и живђт# эT мо'ря подо'лгъ рњки` і^ѓ^рда'на”

But the men that went up together with him said, We will not go up, for we shall not by any means be able to go up against the nation, for it is much stronger than we.
|
И$ поста'ви хале'въ лю'ди преD мољ=сїѓ^мъ и^ реко'ша е^мђ, н^ика'коже н^о въста'виши да и'дем#, и^ прїимемъ ю&. ја%ко си'лни м^ы съпроти'витися и^мъ”

And they brought a horror of that land which they surveyed upon the children of Israel, saying, The land which we passed by to survey it, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of extraordinary stature.
|
И$ чл~цы ходи'вшїи с ни'мъ реко'ша. не идем#, ја%ко не мо'жемъ и^зы'ти проти'вђ иM, ја%ко крњ'пцы сђть паче насъ ѕњло”

|
And there we saw the giants; and we were before them as locusts, yea even so were we before them.
|
І$ и^знесо'ша ё^жасова'нїе на' землю, и^же съгляда'ша ю&, къ сн~омъ і^и~лвыM гл~юще. зе'млю ю^же проидо'хомъ съгляда'юще, земля` е^сть поја%дђщи живђщїя на не'и, и^ вс^и лю'ди и^хже ви'дњхоM на не'и, мђж'и высо'цы сђщїи”
