| The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John; | Одкровення Ісуса Христа, яке дав Йому Бог, щоб показати рабам Своїм, що повинно статися невдовзі. | Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand. | Блажен, хто читає, і ті, що слухають слова пророцтва цього і дотримуються написаного в ньому, бо час близький. |

| John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne; | Іоан семи церквам, що знаходяться в Асії: благодать вам і мир від Того, Хто є і був і гряде, та від семи духів, які знаходяться перед престолом Його, |

| and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and washed us from our sins by his blood; | і від Ісуса Христа, Який є свідок вірний, первісток з мертвих і владика царів земних. Йому, Який полюбив нас і омив нас від гріхів наших кров’ю Своєю |

| and he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. | і зробив нас царями і священиками Богу й Отцю Своєму, слава і держава на віки віків, амінь. |

| Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen. | Ось іде з хмарами, і побачить Його всяке око і ті, що прокололи Його; і заридають перед Ним усі племена земні. Так, амінь. |

| I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. | Я є Альфа й Омега, початок і кінець, говорить Господь, Який є і був і гряде, Вседержитель. |

| I John, your brother and partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and patience which are in Christ Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. | Я, Іоан, брат ваш і співучасник у скорботі і в царстві і в терпінні Ісуса Христа, був на острові, званому Патмос, за слово Боже і за свідчення Ісуса Христа. |

| I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet | Я був у дусі в день воскресний і чув позаду себе голос гучний, ніби трубний, який говорив: Я є Альфа й Омега, Перший і Останній; |

| saying, What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches: unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. | те, що бачиш, напиши у книгу і пошли Церквам, які знаходяться в Асії: до Ефеса, і до Смирни, і до Пергама, і до Фіатири; і до Сардиса, і до Філадельфії, і до Лаодикії. |

| And there I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And having turned I saw seven golden candlesticks; | Я обернувся, щоб побачити, чий голос, що говорив зі мною; і, обернувшись, побачив сім золотих світильників |

| and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle. | і, посеред семи світильників, подібного до Сина Людського, одягненого в довгі ризи і підперезаного попід груди золотим поясом: |

|
| And his head and his hair were white, even as white wool, white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; | голова Його і волосся білі, як біла вовна, як сніг; і очі Його, як полум’я вогняне; |

|
| and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if they had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters. | і ноги Його подібні до бронзи, ніби в печі розжарені, і голос Його, як шум вод великих. |
|

|
| And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. | Він тримав у правиці Своїй сім зірок, і з уст Його виходив гострий з обох боків меч; і лице Його, як сонце, що сяє в силі своїй. |

| And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last, | І коли я побачив Його, то впав до ніг Його, як мертвий. І Він поклав на мене правицю Свою і сказав мені: не бійся; Я є Перший і Останній, |

| and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and I have the keys of death and of Hades. | і живий; і був мертвий, і ось, живий на віки віків, амінь; і маю ключі пекла і смерті. |

| Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall come to pass hereafter; | Отже, напиши, що ти бачив, і що є, і що буде після цього. |

|
| the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are seven churches. | Таємниця семи зірок, які ти бачив у правиці Моїй, і семи золотих світильників є така: сім зірок — це ангели семи Церков; а сім світильників, які ти бачив, це сім Церков. |

| To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks: | Ангелові Ефеської Церкви напиши: так говорить Той, Хто тримає сім зірок у правиці Своїй, Хто ходить посеред семи золотих світильників: |

| I know thy works, and thy toil and thy patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that declare themselves to be apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false; | знаю діла твої, і труд твій, і терпіння твоє, і те, що ти не можеш зносити розпутних, і випробував тих, які називають себе апостолами, а вони не такі, й побачив, що вони неправдомовці; |

| and thou hast patience and didst bear for my name’s sake, and didst not grow weary. | ти багато зазнав і маєш терпіння, і в ім’я Моє трудився і не знемагав. |
|

| But I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love. | Та маю проти тебе те, що ти залишив першу любов твою. |
|

|

|
| Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I come to thee quickly, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent. | Отже, згадай, звідки ти впав, і покайся, і твори попередні діла; а якщо не так, скоро прийду до тебе і зрушу світильник твій з місця його, якщо не покаєшся. |

| But this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. | А втім, те в тобі добре, що ти ненавидиш діла николаїтів, які і Я ненавиджу. |

| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God. | Хто має вухо, нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам: тому, хто перемагає, дам споживати від дерева життя, яке посеред раю Божого. |

| And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things saith the first and the last, who was dead, and lived again: | І ангелу Смирнської Церкви напиши: так говорить Перший і Останній, Який був мертвий і ось, живий: |

| I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that call themselves Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. | знаю твої діла, і скорботу, і вбогість (а втім, ти багатий), і лихослів’я від тих, які кажуть про себе, що вони юдеї, а вони не такі, але зборище сатанинське. |

| Fear none of the things which thou art about to suffer: behold now, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life. | Не бійся нічого, що тобі треба буде витерпіти. Ось, диявол буде кидати вас у темницю, щоб випробувати вас, і будете мати скорботу днів десять. Будь вірний до смерти, і дам тобі вінець життя. |

| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. | Хто має вухо (чути), нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам: той, хто перемагає, не зазнає шкоди від другої смерти. |
|

|
| And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These things saith he that hath the sharp two-edged sword: | І ангелу Пергамської Церкви напиши: так говорить Той, Хто має гострий з обох боків меч: |
|

|
| I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith in the days in which Antipas was my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth. | знаю твої діла, і що ти живеш там, де престіл сатани, і що зберігаєш ім’я Моє, і не зрікся віри Моєї навіть у ті дні, коли у вас, де живе сатана, був убитий вірний свідок Мій Антипа. |

| But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there some that hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, and to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication. | Але маю трохи проти тебе, тому що є в тебе там ті, які дотримуються вчення Валаама, який навчив Валака спокусити синів Ізраїлевих, щоб вони їли ідоложертовне і перелюби чинили. |

| So hast thou also some that hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in like manner. | Так і в тебе є ті, які дотримуються вчення николаїтів, яке Я ненавиджу. |
|

|
| Repent therefore; or else I come to thee quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth. | Покайся; а якщо не так, незабаром прийду до тебе і воюватиму з ними мечем уст Моїх. |
|

| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it. | Хто має вухо (чути), нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам: тому, хто перемагає, дам споживати сокровенну манну, і дам йому білий камінь, і на камені написане нове ім’я, якого ніхто не знає, крім того, хто одержує. |

| And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like unto burnished brass: | І ангелу Фіатирської Церкви напиши: так говорить Син Божий, у Якого очі, наче полум’я вогняне, і ноги подібні до бронзи: |

| I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience; and thy last works are more than the first. | знаю твої діла, і любов, і служіння, і віру, і терпіння твоє, і те, що останні діла твої більші, ніж перші. |
|
20
|
20
|
| But I have this against thee, that thou sufferest thy wife Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess, and teacheth and seduceth my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. | Та маю трохи проти тебе, тому що ти попускаєш жінці Ієзавелі, яка називає себе пророчицею, навчати і вводити в оману рабів Моїх, любодіяти і їсти ідоложертовне. |

| And I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication. | Я дав їй час покаятись у перелюбстві її, але вона не покаялась. |
|

| Behold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works. | Ось, Я кидаю її на одр і тих, що любодіяли з нею, у велику скорботу, якщо не покаються у ділах своїх. |
|

| And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the minds and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works. | І дітей її уражу смертю, і зрозуміють усі Церкви, що Я є Той, Хто випробовує серця й утроби; і воздам кожному з вас за ділами вашими. |

| But to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who know not the deep things of Satan, as they are wont to say; I cast upon you none other burden. | Вам же та іншим, що є у Фіатирі, які не дотримуються цього вчення і не знають так званих глибин сатанинських, кажу, що не накладу на вас іншого тягара; |

| Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come. | тільки те, що маєте, тримайте, доки прийду. |
|

| And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations: | Хто перемагає і дотримується діл Моїх до кінця, тому дам владу над язичниками, |
|

|
| and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter shall they be broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father: | і буде пасти їх жезлом залізним; як посуд глиняний, вони будуть розтрощені, як і Я одержав владу від Отця Мого; |
|

|
| and I will give him the morning star. | і дам йому зірку ранкову. |
|

|
| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. | Хто має вухо (чути), нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам. |

| And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name and thou livest, and thou art dead. | І ангелу Сардійської Церкви напиши: так говорить Той, Хто має сім духів Божих і сім зірок: знаю твої діла; ти носиш ім’я, ніби живий, але ти мертвий. |

| Be thou watchful, and establish the things that remain, which thou wast about to cast away: for I have not found thy works perfected before my God. | Пильнуй і зміцнюй інше близьке до смерти, бо Я не бачу, щоб діла твої були довершені перед Богом Моїм. |
|

| Remember therefore how thou hast received and didst hear; and keep it, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come upon thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. | Згадай, що ти прийняв і чув, і зберігай та покайся. Якщо ж не будеш пильнувати, то Я найду на тебе, як злодій, і ти не дізнаєшся, якої години найду на тебе. |

| But thou hast a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments: and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy. | А втім, у тебе в Сардах є кілька чоловік, які не осквернили одягу свого, і будуть ходити зі Мною у білому одязі, бо вони достойні. |
|

|
| He that overcometh, the same shall be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. | Той, хто перемагає, одягнеться у білий одяг; і не згладжу імені його з книги життя, і визнаю ім’я його перед Отцем Моїм і перед ангелами Його. |

| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. | Хто має вухо, нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам. |

| And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and none shall shut it, except he that openeth; and none shall open: | І ангелу Філадельфійської Церкви напиши: так говорить Святий, Істинний, Хто має ключ Давидів, Хто відчиняє — і ніхто не зачинить, зачиняє — і ніхто не відчинить: |

| I know thy works (behold, I have set before thee a door opened, which none can shut), that thou hast a little power, and didst keep my word, and didst not deny my name. | знаю твої діла; ось Я відчинив перед тобою двері, і ніхто не може зачинити їх; ти не багато маєш сили, і зберіг слово Моє, і не зрікся імені Мого. |

| Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of them that declare themselves to be Jews, and they are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. | Ось, Я зроблю, що із сатанинського зборища, з тих, які кажуть про себе, що вони юдеї, але не такі, а обманюють, — ось, Я зроблю те, що вони прийдуть і поклоняться перед ногами твоїми, і зрозуміють, що Я полюбив тебе. |

| Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. | І як ти зберіг слово терпіння Мого, то і Я збережу тебе від години спокуси, що гряде на весь світ, щоб випробувати тих, хто живе на землі. |

| I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown. | Ось, гряду скоро; тримай, що маєш, щоб ніхто не перейняв вінця твого. |
|

| He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down from heaven from my God, and the new name he is to receive. | Переможця зроблю стовпом у храмі Бога Мого, і він уже не вийде геть; і напишу на ньому ім’я Бога Мого й ім’я міста Бога Мого, нового Єрусалима, що сходить з неба від Бога Мого, й ім’я Моє нове. |

| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. | Хто має вухо, нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам. |

| And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: | І ангелові Лаодикійської Церкви напиши: так говорить Амінь, свідок вірний і істинний, початок створіння Божого: |

|
| I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. | знаю твої діла; ти ні холодний, ні гарячий; о, якби ти був холодний або гарячий! |
|

|
| So because thou art lukewarm, and not hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. | Але оскільки ти теплий, а не гарячий і не холодний, то викину тебе з уст Моїх. |
|

|
| Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and the miserable one and poor and blind and naked: | Бо ти говориш: я багатий, розбагатів і ні в чому не маю потреби; а не знаєш, що ти нещасний і жалюгідний, і вбогий, і сліпий, і голий. |

| I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eye salve that it may anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. | Раджу тобі купити в Мене золото, вогнем очищене, щоб тобі збагатитися, і білий одяг, щоб одягтися, і щоб не видно було сорому наготи твоєї, і маззю для очей помаж очі твої, щоб бачити. |

| As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. | Кого Я люблю, тих викриваю і караю. Отже, будь ревним і покайся. |

| Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will both come in to him and sup with him, and he with me. | Ось, стою при дверях і стукаю; якщо хто почує голос Мій і відчинить двері, увійду до нього, і буду вечеряти з ним, і він зі Мною. |

| He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne. | Переможцеві дам сісти зі Мною на престолі Моїм, як і Я переміг і сів з Отцем Моїм на престолі Його. |
|

| He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. | Хто має вухо, нехай чує, що Дух говорить Церквам. |

|
| After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, a voice as of a trumpet speaking with me, one saying, Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which must come to pass hereafter. | Після цього я глянув, і ось, двері відчинені на небі, і той самий голос, який я чув, ніби звук труби, що говорив зі мною, сказав: зійди сюди, і покажу тобі, що має бути після цього. |

| And straightaway I was in the Spirit: and behold, there was a throne set in heaven (and one sitting upon the throne) | І в ту ж мить я був у дусі; і ось, престіл стояв на небі, і на престолі був Сидячий; |

|
| like a jasper stone and a sardius to look upon: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, like emeralds to look upon. | і Цей Сидячий на вигляд був подібний до каменя яспису і сардису; і райдуга навколо престолу, на вигляд подібна до смарагду. |
|

|
| And round about the throne were four and twenty thrones: and upon the thrones the four and twenty elders sitting, arrayed in white garments; and on their heads crowns of gold. | І навколо престолу двадцять чотири престоли; а на престолах бачив я двадцять чотири старці, які сиділи й одягнені були в білий одяг та мали на головах своїх золоті вінці. |

| And out of the throne proceed lightnings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are seven Spirits of God; | І від престолу виходили блискавки, і громи, і голоси, і перед престолом горіли сім світильників вогняних, які є сім духів Божих; |

|
| and before the throne, as it were a sea of glass like unto crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. | і перед престолом море скляне, подібне до кристала, і посеред престолу і навколо престолу чотири тварини, сповнені очей спереду і ззаду. |

| And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face of a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. | І перша тварина була подібна до лева, і друга тварина подібна до тельця, і третя тварина мала лице, як людина, а четверта тварина подібна до орла, що летить. |
|

| And the four living creatures, having each one six wings, are also full of eyes round about and within: and they have no rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy; holy, holy holy; holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come. | І кожна з чотирьох тварин мала по шість крил навколо, а всередині вони були сповнені очей; і ні вдень, ні вночі не мають спокою, взиваючи: свят, свят, свят Господь Бог Вседержитель, Який був, є і гряде. |

| And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him that sitteth on the throne, to him that liveth forever and ever, | І коли тварини воздають славу і честь і подяку Тому, Хто сидить на престолі, Хто живе повік віку, |

| the four and twenty elders shall fall down before him that sitteth on the throne, and shall worship him that liveth forever and ever, and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying, | тоді двадцять чотири старці падають перед Тим, Хто сидить на престолі, і поклоняються Тому, Хто живе у віки віків, і покладають вінці свої перед престолом, кажучи: |

| Worthy art thou, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory and the honor and the power: for thou didst create all things, and because of thy will they were, and were created. | достойний Ти, Господи, прийняти славу і честь і силу: бо Ти створив усе, і все з Твоєї волі існує і створено. |

| And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, close sealed with seven seals. | І бачив я у правиці Того, Хто сидить на престолі, книгу, написану всередині і ззовні, запечатану сімома печатями. |

|
| And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? | І бачив я ангела сильного, який виголошував гучним голосом: хто достойний розкрити цю книгу і зняти печаті її? |

| And behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed him. | After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; | Після цього глянув я, і ось, велика кількість людей, яких ніхто не міг перелічити, з усіх племен і колін, і народів і людей, стояли перед престолом і перед Агнцем у білому одязі і з пальмовими віттями в руках своїх. |

| And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These that are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and whence came they? | І, почавши говорити, один із старців запитав мене: хто ці, одягнені у білий одяг, і звідки прийшли? |

| And I said unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. | Я сказав йому: ти знаєш, господарю. | And in those days men shall seek death, and shall in no wise find it; and they shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. | У ті дні люди будуть шукати смерти, але не знайдуть її; захочуть умерти, але смерть утече від них. |

| and sware by him that liveth forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things that are therein, that there shall be delay no longer: | і клявся Тим, Хто живе у віки віків, Який створив небо і все, що на ньому, землю і все, що на ній, і море і все, що у ньому, що часу вже не буде; |

| And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; for it hath been given unto the nations: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. | А зовнішній двір храму виключи і не вимірюй його, бо він відданий язичникам: вони зневажатимуть святе місто сорок два місяці. |

|
| And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. | І дам двом свідкам Моїм, і вони будуть пророкувати тисячу двісті шістдесят днів, одягнені у веретище. |

| These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the Lord of the earth. | Це два оливкових дерева і два світильники, що стоять перед Богом землі. |

| And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them that beheld them. | Але після трьох з половиною днів увійшов у них дух життя від Бога, і вони обоє стали на ноги свої; і великий страх напав на тих, які дивилися на них. |

| And in that day there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons: and the rest were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. | І в ту ж мить стався великий землетрус, і десята частина міста впала, і загинуло під час землетрусу сім тисяч імен людських; інші ж охоплені були страхом і воздали славу Богові Небесному. |

| The second Woe is past: the third Woe, behold, it cometh quickly. | Друге горе минуло; ось, гряде скоро третє горе. |

| And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign forever and ever. | І сьомий ангел затрубив, і залунали на небі гучні голоси, які промовляли: царство світу стало царством Господа нашого і Христа Його, і буде царювати повік. |

| And the nations were wroth, and thy wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and the time to give their reward to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear thy name, to the small and to the great; and to destroy them that destroy the earth. | І розлютилися язичники; і прийшов гнів Твій, і час судити мертвих і дати відплату рабам Твоїм, пророкам і святим, і тим, що бояться імені Твого, малим і великим, і погубити тих, які губили землю. |

| and she being with child cried out, travailing in birth, and in pain to be delivered. | Вона мала в утробі і кричала від болю і мук народження. |

| And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold, a great dragon of fire, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems. | І з’явилось інше знамення на небі: ось, дракон величезний червоний з сімома головами і десятьма рогами, і на головах його сім вінців. |

| And his tail draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child. | Хвіст його захопив з неба третю частину зірок і кинув їх на землю. Дракон цей став перед жоною, яка мала родити, щоб, коли вона народить, пожерти її немовля. |

| And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night. | І почув я гучний голос на небі, який промовляв: нині настало спасіння, і сила, і царство Бога нашого і влада Христа Його, тому що скинутий наклепник братів наших, який зводив наклепи на них перед Богом нашим день і ніч. |

| And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death. | Вони перемогли його кров’ю Агнця і словом свідчення свого і не полюбили душі своєї* навіть до смерти. |

| Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time. | Отже, веселіться, небеса і ті, що живуть на них! Горе тим, що живуть на землі і на морі! Бо зійшов диявол до вас у великій люті, знаючи, що небагато йому лишається часу. |

| And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man child. | Коли ж дракон побачив, що скинутий на землю, то став переслідувати жону, яка народила дитя чоловічої статі. |

| And there were given to the woman two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, that she might be nourished there for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. | І були дані жоні два крила великого орла, щоб вона летіла в пустелю на місце своє від лиця змія і там годувалася протягом часу, часів і півчасу. |

| And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream. | І пустив змій услід за жоною з пащі своєї воду, мов річку, щоб потопити її в річці. |

| And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. | Але земля допомогла жоні, і розкрила земля уста свої, і поглинула річку, яку дракон пустив з пащі своєї. |

| And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. | Звір, якого я бачив, був подібний до барса; ноги в нього — як у ведмедя, а паща в нього — як паща у лева; і дав йому дракон силу свою і престіл свій, і велику владу. |

| And one of his heads was as though it had been smitten unto death; and his death-stroke was healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast; | І бачив я, що одна з голів його ніби була смертельно поранена; але ця смертельна рана зцілилась. | and they worshiped the dragon that had given his authority unto the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? and who is able to war with him? | і поклонилися звірові, кажучи: хто подібний до звіра цього? і хто може змагатися з ним? |

| and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemy; and there was given to him authority to make war forty and two months. | І дані були йому вуста, що говорять гордо і богохульно, і надана йому влада діяти сорок два місяці. |

| And he opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, even them that dwell in the heaven. | І розкрив він уста свої для хули на Бога, щоб хулити ім’я Його й оселю Його, і тих, що живуть на небі. |

| And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. | І дано було йому вести війну зі святими і перемогти їх; і дана була йому влада над усяким коліном і народом, і людьми, і племенем. |

|
| And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, everyone whose name have not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain. | І поклоняться йому всі, що живуть на землі, імена яких не написані в книзі життя у Агнця, заколеного від створіння світу. |
|

|
| If any man hath an ear, let him hear. | Хто має вухо, нехай чує. |

|
| If any man hath captivity, he goeth away: if any man shall kill with the sword, with the sword must he be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. | Хто веде в полон, той сам піде у полон; хто мечем убиває, тому самому належить бути вбитому мечем. Ось тут терпіння і віра святих. |

| And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like unto a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. | І побачив я іншого звіра, що виходив із землі; він мав два роги, подібні до ягнячих, і говорив, як дракон. |

| And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he made the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed. | Він діє перед ним з усією владою першого звіра і примушує всю землю і тих, що живуть на ній, поклонятися першому звірові, у якого смертельна рана зцілилась; |

| And he doeth great signs, even fire, that it should come down out of heaven upon the earth in the sight of men. | і творить великі знамення, так що й вогонь зводить з неба на землю перед людьми. |

| And he deceiveth mine own people that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast which had a stroke and lived from the sword. | І чудесами, які дано було йому творити перед звіром, він спокушає, тих, що живуть на землі, кажучи тим, що живуть на землі, щоб вони зробили образ звіра, який має рану від меча і живий. |

| and they sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn the song save the hundred and forty and four thousand, even they that had been purchased out of the earth. | Вони співають ніби нову пісню перед престолом і перед чотирма тваринами і старцями; і ніхто не міг навчитися цієї пісні, крім цих ста сорока чотирьох тисяч, відкуплених від землі. |

| These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he may go. | and he saith with a great voice, Fear the Lord, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and the sea and fountains of waters. | і говорив він гучним голосом: бійтеся Бога і воздайте Йому славу, бо настав час суду Його, і поклоніться Тому, Хто створив небо і землю, і море, і джерела вод. |

| And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen is Babylon the great: she hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. | І другий ангел ішов за ним слідом, кажучи: впав, упав Вавилон, місто велике, тому що він шаленим вином розпусти своєї напоїв усі народи. |

| and the smoke of their torment goeth up forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name. | і дим мучення їх здійматиметься повік, і не матимуть спокою ні вдень, ні вночі ті, що поклоняються звірові і образу його, і ті, що приймають начертання імені його. |

| And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud I saw one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. | І поглянув я, і ось світла хмара, і на хмарі сидить подібний до Сина Людського; на голові Його золотий вінець, і в руці Його гострий серп. |

| And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. | І вийшов інший ангел з храму і викликнув гучним голосом до Того, Хто сидить на хмарі: пусти серп Твій і пожни, бо настав час жати, тому що жниво на землі вже дозріло. |

| And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped. | І кинув Той, Хто сидить на хмарі, серп свій на землю, і земля була пожата. |

| And another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. | І інший ангел вийшов з храму, що знаходиться на небі, також з гострим серпом. |

| And another angel came out from the altar, having power over fire; and he called with a great cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the cluster of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. | І інший ангел, який має владу над вогнем, вийшов від жертовника і з великим криком викликнув до того, що має гострий серп, кажучи: пусти серп твій гострий і обріж грона винограду на землі, бо дозріли вже на ньому ягоди. |

| And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge: | І почув я ангела вод, який говорив: праведний Ти, Господи, Який є і був, і святий, тому що так судив; |

| for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood didst thou give them to drink: they are worthy. | за те, що вони пролили кров святих і пророків, Ти дав їм пити кров: вони достойні того. |

| And men were scorched with great heat: and the men blasphemed the name of God who hath power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory. | І палила людей сильна спека, і вони хулили ім’я Бога, Який має владу над цими покараннями, і не напоумилися, щоб віддати Йому славу. |

| And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising. | Шостий ангел вилив чашу свою у велику ріку Євфрат: і висохла в ній вода, щоб готовий був шлях царям від сходу сонячного. |

| And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs: | І бачив я, що виходять з уст дракона, і з уст звіра, і з уст лжепророка три духи нечисті, подібні до жаб: |

| for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of that great day of God, the Almighty. | це — бісівські духи, що творять знамення; вони виходять до царів землі усієї вселенної, щоб зібрати їх на битву в оний великий день Бога Вседержителя. |

| And I saw the woman drunken from the blood of the saints, with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with a great wonder. | Я бачив, що жінка упоєна була кров’ю святих і кров’ю свідків Ісусових, і, бачачи її, дивувався здивуванням великим. |

| And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou wonder? | The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. | These have one mind, and they give their power and authority unto the beast. | Вони мають одні думки і передадуть силу і владу свою звірові. |

| And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate, and shall make her naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her utterly with fire. | І десять рогів, які ти бачив на звірі, ці зненавидять блудницю, і розорять її, і роздягнуть, і плоть її з’їдять, і спалять її у вогні; |

| For God did put in their hearts to do his mind, and to come to one mind, and to give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished. | тому що Бог поклав їм на серце — виконати волю Його, виконати одну волю, і віддати царство їхнє звірові, доки не здійсняться слова Божі. |

| And the voice of harpers and minstrels and flute players and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft, shall be found anymore at all in thee; and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more at all in thee; | І голосу тих, що грають на гуслах, і співають, і грають на сопілках, і трублять у труби, в тобі вже не буде чутно; не буде вже в тобі ніякого митця, ніякого мистецтва, і шуму від жорен вже не буде чутно в тобі; |

| and the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the princes of the earth; for with thy sorcery were all the nations deceived. | і світло світильника вже не з’явиться в тобі; і голосів жениха і нареченої не буде вже чутно в тобі: бо купці твої були вельможами землі, і чародійством твоїм були введені в оману всі народи. |

| for true and righteous are his judgments; for he hath judged the great harlot, her that corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. | Бо істинні і праведні суди Його: тому що Він осудив ту велику любодійницю, яка розбестила землю любодійством своїм, і відомстив за кров рабів Своїх від руки її. |

| And I fell down before his feet to worship him. | And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army. | І побачив я звіра і царів земних, і воїнства їх, зібраних, щоб битися з Тим, Хто сидить на коні, і з воїнством Його. |

| And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that was with him, that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshiped his image: they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone: | І схоплений був звір і з ним лжепророк, який творив перед ним чудеса, якими він спокусив тих, що прийняли начертання звіра, і тих, які поклоняються його зображенню: обоє живими були кинуті в озеро вогненне, що горіло сіркою; |

| And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. | І побачив я ангела, який сходив з неба і мав ключ від безодні і великий ланцюг у руці своїй. |

| And he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world, and bound him for a thousand years, | Він узяв дракона, змія древнього, який є диявол і сатана, і скував його на тисячу років, |
|

|
| and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished: after this he must be loosed for a little time. | і скинув його у безодню, і замкнув його, і поклав над ним печать, щоб не спокушав уже народи, доки не скінчиться тисяча років; після ж цього він має бути звільненим на короткий час. |

| And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshiped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ for the thousand years. | І побачив я престоли і тих, хто сидить на них, яким дано було судити, і душі обезглавлених за свідчення Ісуса і за слово Боже, які не поклонились звірові, ні образу його, і не прийняли начертання на чоло своє і на руку свою. Вони ожили і царювали з Христом тисячу років. |

| And the rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection. | Інші ж з померлих не ожили, доки не скінчиться тисяча років. Це — перше воскресіння. |

| Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. | Блаженний і святий, хто має участь у воскресінні першому: над ним смерть друга не має влади, але вони будуть священиками Бога і Христа і будуть царювати з Ним тисячу років. |

| And after the thousand years, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, | Коли ж скінчиться тисяча років, сатана буде звільнений з темниці своєї і вийде спокушати народи, які знаходяться на чотирьох кутах землі, Гога і Магога, і збирати їх на битву; число їх як пісок морський. |

| and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. | І вийшли на широту землі, й оточили стан святих і місто улюблене. |

| And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them. | І впав вогонь з неба від Бога і пожер їх; |

| And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. | а диявол, що спокушав їх, ввергнутий в озеро вогненне і сірчане, де звір і лжепророк, і будуть мучитися день і ніч на віки віків. |

| And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. | І побачив я великий білий престіл і Того, хто сидить на ньому, від лиця Якого втікали небо і земля, і не знайшлось їм місця. |

| And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and they opened books: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. | І побачив я мертвих, малих і великих, що стояли перед Богом, і книги розкриті були, й інша книга розкрита, яка є книга життя; і судимі були мертві за написаним у книгах, згідно з ділами своїми. |

| And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to his works. | Тоді віддало море мертвих, що були в ньому, і смерть і пекло віддали мертвих, які були в них; і судимий був кожен за ділами своїми. |

| And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire. | І смерть і пекло ввергнуті в озеро вогненне. Це смерть друга. |
|

| And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire. | І хто не був записаний у книзі життя, той був кинутий в озеро вогненне. |

| And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more. | І побачив я нове небо і нову землю, бо перше небо і перша земля минули, і моря вже нема. |

| And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. | І я, Іоан, побачив святе місто Єрусалим, новий, що сходив від Бога з неба, приготований, як наречена, прикрашена для чоловіка свого. |
|

|
| And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them: | І почув я гучний голос з неба, який говорив: ось, скинія Бога з людьми, і Він буде жити з ними; вони будуть Його народом, і Сам Бог з ними буде Богом їхнім. |

| and he shall wipe away from them every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, anymore: for the first things are passed away. | І витре Бог усяку сльозу з очей їхніх, і смерти не буде вже, ні плачу, ні крику, ні недуги вже не буде, бо колишнє минуло. |

| And he that sitteth on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he saith, Write: for these are the faithful and true words of God. | І сказав Той, Хто сидить на престолі: ось, творю все нове. І каже мені: напиши; бо слова ці істинні й вірні. |

| And he said unto me, I am the Alpha and the Omega, and the beginning and the end. Unto him that is athirst I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely. | І сказав мені: звершилось! Я є Альфа й Омега, початок і кінець; спраглому дам задарма від джерела води живої. |
|

|
| He that overcometh, unto him I will give these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. | Переможець успадкує все, і буду йому Богом, і він буде Мені сином. |
|

| But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and sinners, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. | Боязких же і невірних, мерзотних і убивць і любодіїв, і чародіїв та ідолослужителів, і всіх неправдомовців — доля в озері, що горить вогнем і сіркою. Це смерть друга. |

| And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the wife, the bride of the Lamb. | І прийшов до мене один з семи ангелів, у яких було сім чаш, наповнених сімома останніми покараннями, і сказав мені: піди, я покажу тобі жону, наречену Агнця. |

| And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, | І возніс мене в дусі на велику й високу гору, і показав мені велике місто, святий Єрусалим, який сходив з неба від Бога. |

| having the glory of God: her light was like unto a stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal: | Він має славу Божу. Світило його подібне до коштовного каменя, ніби каменя яспису кристаловидного. |
|

| having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: | Він має велику і високу стіну, має дванадцять брам і на них дванадцять ангелів; на брамах написані імена дванадцяти колін синів Ізраїлевих: |

| on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. | зі сходу три брами, з півночі три брами, з півдня три брами, із заходу три брами. |
|

| And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. | Стіна міста має дванадцять підвалин, і на них імена дванадцяти апостолів Агнця. |
|

|
| And he that spake with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. | Той, що говорив зі мною, мав золоту тростину для вимірювання міста, і брам його, і стіни його. |
|

|
| And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs, twelve thousand stadia being the length and the breath and the height thereof; they are equal. | Місто розташоване чотирикутником, і довжина його така сама, як і ширина. І виміряв він місто тростиною на дванадцять тисяч стадій; довжина і ширина і висота його рівні. |

| And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. | І стіну його виміряв у сто сорок чотири лікті, мірою людською, яка міра й ангела. |

| And the building of the wall thereof was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto pure glass. | Стіна його побудована з яспису, а місто було — чисте золото, подібне до чистого скла. |

| The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; | Підвалини стіни міста прикрашені всяким коштовним камінням: підвалина перша яспис, друга сапфір, третя халкидон, четверта смарагд, |

| the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. | п’ята сардонікс, шоста сердолік, сьома хризоліт, восьма берил, дев’ята топаз, десята хризопраз, одинадцята гіацинт, дванадцята аметист. |

| And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. | А дванадцять брам — дванадцять перлин: кожна брама була з однієї перлини. Вулиця міста — чисте золото, як прозоре скло. |

|
| And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof. | Храму ж я не бачив у ньому, бо Господь Бог Вседержитель — храм його, і Агнець. |

| And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God itself did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb. | І місто не має потреби ні в сонці, ні у місяці для освітлення свого, бо слава Божа освітила його, і світильник його — Агнець. |

| And the nations shall walk by the light thereof: and into it the kings of the earth bring unto him the glory and honor of the nations. | Спасенні народи будуть ходити у світлі його, і царі земні принесуть до нього славу і честь свою. |
|

| And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day (for there shall be no night there): | Брами його не будуть зачинятися вдень; а ночі там не буде. |
|

|
| and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it, that they may enter in: | І принесуть до нього славу і честь народів. |
|

|
27
|
| and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or anyone that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life. | І не ввійде до нього ніщо нечисте, і ніхто, підданий мерзоті і неправді, а тільки ті, які написані у Агнця в книзі життя. |

| And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. | І показав мені чисту ріку води життя, світлу, як кристал, що виходила від престолу Бога і Агнця. |
|

| In the midst of the street thereof, and on this side of the river and on that, was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. | Серед вулиці його, і по той і по інший бік річки, — дерево життя, яке дванадцять разів приносить плоди, дає на кожен місяць плід свій; і листя дерева — для зцілення народів. |

| And there shall be no curse anymore: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him; | І нічого вже не буде проклятого; але престіл Бога і Агнця буде в ньому, і раби Його будуть служити Йому. |

| and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads. | І побачать лице Його, й ім’я Його буде на чолах їхніх. |

| And there shall be no night, and no need of a lamp and the light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. | І ночі не буде там, і не будуть мати потреби ні у світильнику, ні у світлі сонячному, бо Господь Бог освітлює їх; і будуть царювати на віки віків. |

| And he saith unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass. | І сказав мені: ці слова вірні й істинні; і Господь, Бог святих пророків, послав ангела Свого показати рабам Своїм те, чому належить бути невдовзі. |

| And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book. | Ось, прийду скоро: блаженний, хто додержує слова пророцтва книги цієї. |

| And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and when I saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things. | Я, Іоан, бачив і чув це. Коли ж почув і побачив, упав до ніг ангела, який показував мені це, щоб поклонитися йому; |

| And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God. | але він сказав мені: дивись, не роби цього; бо я співслужитель тобі і братам твоїм пророкам і тим, хто додержує слів книги цієї; Богу поклонись. |

| And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand. | І сказав мені: не запечатуй слів пророцтва книги цієї; бо час близько. |

| He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still. | Неправедний нехай ще чинить неправду; нечистий нехай ще оскверняється; праведний же нехай ще творить правду, і святий нехай ще освячується. |

| Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work shall be. | Ось, прийду скоро, відомщення Моє зі Мною, щоб воздати кожному за ділами його. |

|
| I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. | Я є Альфа й Омега, початок і кінець, Перший і Останній. |
|

|
| Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. | Блаженні ті, які дотримуються заповідей Його, щоб мати їм право на дерево життя і ввійти в місто воротами. |
|

|
| Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone that loveth and maketh a lie. | А зовні — пси і чародії, і любодії, і убивці, й ідолослужителі, і всякий, хто любить і чинить неправду. |
|

|
| I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star. | Я, Ісус, послав Ангела Мого засвідчити вам це у церквах. Я є корінь і нащадок Давидів, зірка світла і ранкова. |
|

|
| And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely. | І Дух і наречена говорять: прийди! І той, хто чув, нехай скаже: прийди! Хто спраглий, нехай приходить, і хто бажає, нехай бере воду життя задарма. |

| I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto them, God add unto him the plagues which are written in this book: | І я також свідчу всякому, хто чує слова пророцтва книги цієї: коли хто додасть щось до них, на того накладе Бог покарання, про які написано в книзі цій; |

| and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. | і коли хто відійме щось від слів книги пророцтва цього, в того відійме Бог участь у книзі життя й у святому місті, і в тому, що написано в книзі цій. |

| He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen. Yea, come, Lord Jesus. | Хто свідчить це, говорить: так, гряду скоро! Амінь. Так, гряди, Господи Ісусе! |

| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen. | Благодать Господа нашого Ісуса Христа з усіма вами. Амінь. |
