Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,	(За? ™.) Пavелъ, рaбъ б9ій, ґпcлъ же ї}съ хrт0въ, по вёрэ и3збрaнныхъ б9іихъ и3 рaзуму и4стины, ћже по бlгочcтію,

in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before times eternal;	њ ўповaніи жи1зни вёчныz, ю4же њбэтовA нел0жный бGъ прeжде лётъ вёчныхъ,

but in his own seasons manifested his word in the message, wherewith I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;	kви1 же во временA сво‰ сл0во своE проповёданіемъ, є4же мнЁ порyчено бhсть по повелёнію сп7си1телz нaшегw бGа:

to Titus, my true child after a common faith: Grace, mercy, peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.	тjту, пrному чaду по џбщей вёрэ: блгdть, млcть, ми1ръ t бGа nц7A и3 гDа ї}са хrтA сп7са нaшегw.

For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that were wanting, and appoint elders in every city, as I gave thee charge;	(За?.) Сегw2 рaди њстaвихъ тS въ кри1тэ, да недоконч†ннаz и3спрaвиши и3 ўстр0иши по всBмъ грaдwмъ пресвЂтеры, ћкоже тебЁ ѓзъ повелёхъ:

if any man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children that believe, who are not accused of riot or unruly.	ѓще кто2 є4сть непор0ченъ, є3ди1ныz жены2 мyжъ, ч†да и3мhй вBрна, не во ўкорeніи блудA, и3ли2 непокори6ва.

For the bishop must be blameless, as God’s steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre;	Подобaетъ бо є3пjскопу без8 пор0ка бhти, ћкоже б9ію строи1телю: не себЁ ўгождaющу, (не дeрзу, не напрaсливу,) не гнэвли1ву, не піsницэ, не бjйцэ, не скверностzжaтелну,

but given to hospitality, a lover of good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled;	но страннолюби1ву, бlголю1бцу, цэломdренну, првdну, прпdбну, воздержaтелну,

holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.	держaщемусz вёрнагw словесE по ўчeнію, да си1ленъ бyдетъ и3 ўтёшати во здрaвэмъ ўчeніи, и3 проти1вzщыzсz њбличaти.

For there are many, and they are unruly, vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision,	Сyть бо мн0зи непокори1ви, суесл0вцы и3 ўм0мъ прельщeни, наипaче же сyщіи t њбрёзаніz,

whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.	и4хже подобaетъ ўстA заграждaти: и5же вс‰ д0мы развращaютъ, ўчaще ћже не подобaетъ, сквeрнагw рaди прибhтка.

One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, idle gluttons.	Речe же нёкто t ни1хъ, св0й и5мъ прор0къ: кри1тzне при1снw лжи1ви, ѕлjи ѕвёріе, ўтрHбы пр†здныz.

This testimony is true. For which cause reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,	Свидётелство сіE и4стинно є4сть: є3sже рaди вины2 њбличaй и5хъ нещaднw, да здрaви бyдутъ въ вёрэ,

not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.	не внимaюще їудє1йскимъ бaснемъ, ни зaповэдемъ человBкъ tвращaющихсz t и4стины.

To the pure all things are indeed pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.	(За? ™№.) Вс‰ ќбw чи6ста чи6стымъ: њсквернє1нымъ же и3 невBрнымъ ничт0же чи1сто, но њскверни1сz и4хъ и3 ќмъ и3 с0вэсть.

They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.	БGа и3сповёдуютъ вёдэти, ґ дёлы tмeщутсz є3гw2, мeрзцы сyще и3 непокори1ви и3 на всsкое дёло бlг0е неискyсни.
