Псало́мъ Дави́ду.

Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of evil men.

Блаже́нъ му́жъ, и́же не и́де на совѣ́тъ нечести́выхъ, и на пути́ грѣ́шныхъ не ста́, и на сѣда́лищи губи́телей не сѣ́де:

But his pleasure is in the law of the Lord; and in his law will he meditate day and night.

но въ зако́нѣ Госпо́дни во́ля єго́, и въ зако́нѣ Єго́ поучи́тся де́нь и но́щь.

And he shall be as a tree planted by the brooks of waters, which shall yield its fruit in its season, and its leaf shall not fall off; and whatsoever he shall do shall be prospered.

И бу́детъ я́ко дре́во насажде́ноє при исхо́дищихъ во́дъ, є́же пло́дъ сво́й да́стъ во вре́мя своє́, и ли́стъ єго́ не отпаде́тъ: и вся́, єли́ка а́ще твори́тъ, успѣ́єтъ.

Not so the ungodly;—not so: but rather as the chaff which the wind scatters away from the face of the earth.

Не та́ко нечести́віи, не та́ко: но я́ко пра́хъ, єго́же возмета́єтъ вѣ́тръ от лица́ земли́.

Therefore the ungodly shall not rise in judgment, nor sinners in the counsel of the just.

Сего́ ра́ди не воскре́снутъ нечести́віи на су́дъ, ниже́ грѣ́шницы въ совѣ́тъ пра́ведныхъ.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Я́ко вѣ́сть Госпо́дь пу́ть пра́ведныхъ, и пу́ть нечести́выхъ поги́бнетъ.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду.

Wherefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?

Вску́ю шата́шася язы́цы, и лю́діє поучи́шася тще́тнымъ?

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ;

Предста́ша ца́ріє зе́мстіи, и кня́зи собра́шася вку́пѣ на Го́спода и на Христа́ Єго́.

saying, Let us break through their bonds, and cast away their yoke from us.

Расто́ргнемъ {расто́ргнимъ} у́зы и́хъ и отве́ржемъ {отве́ржимъ} от на́съ и́го и́хъ.

He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them.

Живы́й на небесѣ́хъ посмѣє́тся и́мъ, и Госпо́дь поруга́єтся и́мъ.

Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his fury.

Тогда́ возглаго́летъ къ ни́мъ гнѣ́вомъ Свои́мъ и я́ростію Своє́ю смяте́тъ я́:

But I have been made king by him on Sion his holy mountain,

А́зъ же поста́вленъ є́смь Ца́рь от Него́ надъ Сіо́номъ, горо́ю свято́ю Єго́,

declaring the ordinance of the Lord: the Lord said to me, Thou art my Son, to-day have I begotten thee.

возвѣща́яй повелѣ́ніє Госпо́дне. Госпо́дь рече́ ко Мнѣ́: Сы́нъ Мо́й єси́ Ты́, А́зъ дне́сь роди́хъ Тя́:

Ask of me, and I will give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the ends of the earth for thy possession.

проси́ от Мене́, и да́мъ ти́ язы́ки достоя́ніє Твоє́, и одержа́ніє Твоє́ концы́ земли́:

Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.

упасе́ши я́ жезло́мъ желѣ́знымъ, я́ко сосу́ды скуде́льничи сокруши́ши я́.

Now therefore understand, ye kings: be instructed, all ye that judge the earth.

И ны́нѣ, ца́ріє, разумѣ́йте, накажи́теся вси́ судя́щіи земли́.

Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in him with trembling.

Рабо́тайте Го́сподеви со стра́хомъ, и ра́дуйтеся Єму́ со тре́петомъ.

Accept correction, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and ye should perish from the righteous way: whensoever his wrath shall be suddenly kindled, blessed are all they that trust in him.

Пріими́те наказа́ніє, да не когда́ прогнѣ́ваєтся Госпо́дь, и поги́бнете от пути́ пра́веднаго, єгда́ возгори́тся вско́рѣ я́рость Єго́: блаже́ни вси́ надѣ́ющіися На́нь.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду, внегда́ отбѣга́ше от лица́ Авессало́ма сы́на своєго́.

A Psalm of David, when he fled from the presence of his son Abessalom.

Го́споди, что́ ся умно́жиша стужа́ющіи ми́? Мно́зи востаю́тъ на мя́,

O Lord, why are they that afflict me multiplied? many rise up against me.

мно́зи глаго́лютъ души́ моє́й: нѣ́сть спасе́нія єму́ въ Бо́зѣ єго́.

Many say concerning my soul, There is no deliverance for him in his God. Pause.

Ты́ же, Го́споди, засту́пникъ мо́й єси́, сла́ва моя́, и вознося́й главу́ мою́.

But thou, O Lord, art my helper: my glory, and the one that lifts up my head.

Гла́сомъ мои́мъ ко Го́споду воззва́хъ, и услы́ша мя́ от горы́ святы́я Своєя́.

I cried to the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy mountain. Pause.

А́зъ усну́хъ, и спа́хъ, воста́хъ, я́ко Госпо́дь засту́питъ мя́.

I lay down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord will help me.

Не убою́ся от те́мъ люді́й, о́крестъ напа́дающихъ на мя́.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, who beset me round about.

Воскре́сни́, Го́споди, спаси́ мя, Бо́же мо́й: я́ко Ты́ порази́лъ єси́ вся́ вражду́ющыя ми́ всу́є, зу́бы грѣ́шниковъ сокруши́лъ єси́.

Arise, Lord; deliver me, my God: for thou hast smitten all who were without cause mine enemies; thou hast broken the teeth of sinners.

Госпо́дне є́сть спасе́ніє, и на лю́дехъ Твои́хъ благослове́ніє Твоє́.

Deliverance is the Lord's, and thy blessing is upon thy people.

Внегда́ призва́ти ми́, услы́ша мя́ Бо́гъ пра́вды моєя́: въ ско́рби распространи́лъ мя́ єси́: уще́дри мя́ и услы́ши моли́тву мою́.

When I called upon him, the God of my righteousness heard me: thou hast made room for me in tribulation; pity me, and hearken to my prayer.

Сы́нове человѣ́честіи, доко́лѣ тяжкосе́рдіи? Вску́ю лю́бите суєту́ и и́щете лжи́?

O ye sons of men, how long will ye be slow of heart? wherefore do ye love vanity, and seek falsehood? Pause.

И увѣ́дите, я́ко удиви́ Госпо́дь преподо́бнаго Своєго́. Госпо́дь услы́шитъ мя́, внегда́ воззва́ти ми́ къ Нему́.

But know ye that the Lord has done wondrous things for his holy one: the Lord will hear me when I cry to him.

Гнѣ́вайтеся, и не согрѣша́йте, я́же глаго́лете въ сердца́хъ ва́шихъ, на ло́жахъ ва́шихъ умили́теся:

Be ye angry, and sin not; feel compunction upon your beds for what ye say in your hearts. Pause.

пожри́те же́ртву пра́вды и упова́йте на Го́спода.

Offer the sacrifice of righteousness, and trust in the Lord.

Мно́зи глаго́лютъ: кто́ яви́тъ на́мъ блага́я? Зна́менася на на́съ свѣ́тъ лица́ Твоєго́, Го́споди.

Many say, Who will shew us good things? the light of thy countenance, O Lord, has been manifested towards us.

Да́лъ єси́ весе́ліє въ се́рдцы моє́мъ: от плода́ пшени́цы, віна́ и єле́а своєго́ умно́жишася:

Thou hast put gladness into my heart: they have been satisfied with the fruit of their corn and wine and oil.

въ ми́рѣ вку́пе усну́ и почі́ю, я́ко Ты́, Го́споди, єди́наго на упова́ніи всели́лъ мя́ єси́.

I will both lie down in peace and sleep: for thou, Lord, only hast caused me to dwell securely.

For the end, a Psalm of David, concerning her that inherits.

Глаго́лы моя́ внуши́, Го́споди, разумѣ́й зва́ніє моє́.

Hearken to my words, O Lord, attend to my cry.

Вонми́ гла́су моле́нія моєго́, Царю́ мо́й и Бо́же мо́й: я́ко къ Тебѣ́ помолю́ся, Го́споди.

Attend to the voice of my supplication, my King, and my God: for to thee, O Lord, will I pray.

Зау́тра услы́ши гла́съ мо́й: зау́тра предста́ну Ти́, и у́зриши мя́:

In the morning thou shalt hear my voice: in the morning will I wait upon thee, and will look up.

я́ко Бо́гъ не хотя́й беззако́нія Ты́ єси́: не присели́тся къ Тебѣ́ лука́внуяй,

For thou art not a God that desires iniquity; neither shall the worker of wickedness dwell with thee.

ниже́ пребу́дутъ беззако́нницы предъ очи́ма Твои́ма: возненави́дѣлъ єси́ вся́ дѣ́лающыя беззако́ніє,

Neither shall the transgressors continue in thy sight: thou hatest, O Lord, all them that work iniquity.

погуби́ши вся́ глаго́лющыя лжу́: му́жа крове́й и льсти́ва гнуша́єтся Госпо́дь.

Thou wilt destroy all that speak falsehood: the Lord abhors the bloody and deceitful man.

А́зъ же мно́жествомъ ми́лости Твоєя́ вни́ду въ до́мъ Тво́й, поклоню́ся ко хра́му свято́му Твоєму́, въ стра́сѣ Твоє́мъ.

But I will enter into thine house in the multitude of thy mercy: I will worship in thy fear toward thy holy temple.

Го́споди, наста́ви мя́ пра́вдою Твоє́ю, вра́гъ мои́хъ ра́ди испра́ви предъ Тобо́ю пу́ть мо́й.

Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make my way plain before thy face.

Я́ко нѣ́сть во устѣ́хъ и́хъ и́стины, се́рдце и́хъ су́єтно, гро́бъ отве́рстъ горта́нь и́хъ, язы́ки свои́ми льща́ху.

For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain; their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit.

Суди́ и́мъ, Бо́же, да отпаду́тъ от мы́слей свои́хъ: по мно́жеству нече́стія и́хъ изри́ни я́, я́ко преогорчи́ша Тя́, Го́споди.

Judge them, O God; let them fail of their counsels: cast them out according to the abundance of their ungodliness; for they have provoked thee, O Lord.

И да возвеселя́тся вси́ упова́ющіи на Тя́, во вѣ́къ возра́дуются, и всели́шися въ ни́хъ: и похва́лятся о Тебѣ́ лю́бящіи и́мя Твоє́.

But let all that trust on thee be glad in thee: they shall exult for ever, and thou shalt dwell among them; and all that love thy name shall rejoice in thee.

Я́ко Ты́ благослови́ши пра́ведника, Го́споди, я́ко ору́жіємъ благоволе́нія вѣнча́лъ єси́ на́съ.

For thou, Lord, shalt bless the righteous: thou hast compassed us as with a shield of favour.

O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath, neither chasten me in thine anger.

Поми́луй мя́, Го́споди, я́ко не́мощенъ є́смь: изцѣли́ мя, Го́споди, я́ко смято́шася ко́сти моя́,

Pity me, O Lord; for I am weak: heal me, O Lord; for my bones are vexed.

и душа́ моя́ смяте́ся зѣло́: и Ты́, Го́споди, доко́лѣ?

My soul also is grievously vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

Обрати́ся, Го́споди, изба́ви ду́шу мою́, спаси́ мя ра́ди ми́лости Твоєя́:

Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: save me for thy mercy's sake.

я́ко нѣ́сть въ сме́рти помина́яй Тебе́, во а́дѣ же кто́ исповѣ́стся Тебѣ́?

For in death no man remembers thee: and who will give thee thanks in Hades?

Утруди́хся воздыха́ніємъ мои́мъ, измы́ю на вся́ку но́щь ло́же моє́, слеза́ми мои́ми посте́лю мою́ омочу́.

I am wearied with my groaning; I shall wash my bed every night; I shall water my couch with my tears.

Смяте́ся от я́рости о́ко моє́, обетша́хъ во всѣ́хъ вразѣ́хъ мои́хъ.

Mine eye is troubled because of my wrath; I am worn out because of all my enemies.

Отступи́те от мене́, вси́ дѣ́лающіи беззако́ніє, я́ко услы́ша Госпо́дь гла́съ пла́ча моєго́,

Depart from me, all ye that work iniquity; for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.

услы́ша Госпо́дь моле́ніє моє́, Госпо́дь моли́тву мою́ прія́тъ.

The Lord has hearkened to my petition; the Lord has accepted my prayer.

Да постыдя́тся и смяту́тся вси́ врази́ мои́, да возвратя́тся и устыдя́тся зѣло́ вско́рѣ.

Let all mine enemies be put to shame and sore troubled: let them be turned back and grievously put to shame speedily.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду, єго́же воспѣ́тъ Го́сподеви о словесѣ́хъ Хусі́євыхъ, сы́на Іємені́ина.

A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Chusi the Benjamite.

Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, на Тя́ упова́хъ, спаси́ мя от всѣ́хъ гоня́щихъ мя́ и изба́ви мя́:

O Lord my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me.

да не когда́ похи́титъ я́ко ле́въ ду́шу мою́, не су́щу избавля́ющу, ниже́ спаса́ющу.

Lest at any time the enemy seize my soul as a lion, while there is none to ransom, nor to save.

Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, а́ще сотвори́хъ сіє́, а́ще є́сть непра́вда въ руку́ моє́ю,

O Lord my God, if I have done this; (if there is unrighteousness in my hands;)

а́ще возда́хъ воздаю́щымъ ми́ зла́, да отпаду́ у́бо от вра́гъ мои́хъ то́щъ:

if I have requited with evil those who requited me with good; may I then perish empty by means of my enemies.

да пожене́тъ у́бо вра́гъ ду́шу мою́, и да пости́гнетъ, и попере́тъ въ зе́млю живо́тъ мо́й, и сла́ву мою́ въ пе́рсть всели́тъ.

Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; and let him trample my life on the ground, and lay my glory in the dust. Pause.

Воскре́сни́, Го́споди, гнѣ́вомъ Твои́мъ, вознеси́ся въ конца́хъ вра́гъ Твои́хъ, и воста́ни, Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, повелѣ́ніємъ, и́мже заповѣ́далъ єси́,

Arise, O Lord, in thy wrath; be exalted in the utmost boundaries of mine enemies: awake, O Lord my God, according to the decree which thou didst command.

и со́нмъ люді́й обы́детъ Тя́: и о то́мъ на высоту́ обрати́ся.

And the congregation of the nations shall compass thee: and for this cause do thou return on high.

Госпо́дь су́дитъ лю́демъ: суди́ ми, Го́споди, по пра́вдѣ моє́й и по незло́бѣ моє́й на мя́.

The Lord shall judge the nations: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my innocence that is in me.

Да сконча́єтся зло́ба грѣ́шныхъ, и испра́виши пра́веднаго, испыта́яй сердца́ и утро́бы, Бо́же, пра́ведно.

Oh let the wickedness of sinners come to an end; and then thou shalt direct the righteous, O God that searchest the hearts and reins.

По́мощь моя́ от Бо́га, спаса́ющаго пра́выя се́рдцемъ.

My help is righteous, coming from God who saves the upright in heart.

Бо́гъ суди́тель пра́веденъ, и крѣ́покъ, и долготерпѣли́въ, и не гнѣ́въ наводя́й на вся́къ де́нь.

God is a righteous judge, and strong, and patient, not inflicting vengeance every day.

А́ще не обратите́ся, ору́жіє Своє́ очи́ститъ, лу́къ Сво́й напряже́, и угото́ва и́,

If ye will not repent, he will furbish his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.

и въ не́мъ угото́ва сосу́ды сме́ртныя, стрѣ́лы Своя́ сгара́ємымъ содѣ́ла.

And on it he has fitted the instruments of death; he has completed his arrows for the raging ones.

Се́, болѣ́ непра́вдою, зача́тъ болѣ́знь и роди́ беззако́ніє:

Behold, he has travailed with unrighteousness, he has conceived trouble, and brought forth iniquity.

ро́въ изры́ и ископа́ и́, и паде́тъ въ я́му, ю́же содѣ́ла.

He has opened a pit, and dug it up, and he shall fall into the ditch which he has made.

Обрати́тся болѣ́знь єго́ на главу́ єго́, и на ве́рхъ єго́ непра́вда єго́ сни́детъ.

His trouble shall return on his own head, and his unrighteousness shall come down on his own crown.

Исповѣ́мся Го́сподеви по пра́вдѣ Єго́ и пою́ и́мени Го́спода Вы́шняго.

I will give thanks to the Lord according to his righteousness; I will sing to the name of the Lord most high.

Го́споди Госпо́дь на́шъ, я́ко чу́дно и́мя Твоє́ по все́й земли́, я́ко взя́тся великолѣ́піє Твоє́ превы́ше небе́съ.

O Lord, our Lord, how wonderful is thy name in all the earth! for thy magnificence is exalted above the heavens.

Изъ у́стъ младе́нецъ и ссу́щихъ соверши́лъ єси́ хвалу́, вра́гъ Твои́хъ ра́ди, є́же разруши́ти врага́ и ме́стника.

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou perfected praise, because of thine enemies; that thou mightest put down the enemy and avenger.

Я́ко узрю́ небеса́, дѣла́ пе́рстъ Твои́хъ, луну́ и звѣ́зды, я́же Ты́ основа́лъ єси́:

For I will regard the heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and stars, which thou hast established.

что́ є́сть человѣ́къ, я́ко по́мниши єго́? Или́ сы́нъ человѣ́чь, я́ко посѣща́єши єго́?

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Ума́лилъ єси́ єго́ ма́лымъ чи́мъ от А́нгелъ, сла́вою и че́стію вѣнча́лъ єси́ єго́:

Thou madest him a little less than angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour;

и поста́вилъ єси́ єго́ надъ дѣ́лы руку́ Твоє́ю, вся́ покори́лъ єси́ подъ но́зѣ єго́:

and thou hast set him over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet:

о́вцы и волы́ вся́, єще́ же и скоты́ польскі́я,

sheep and all oxen, yea, and the cattle of the field;

пти́цы небе́сныя и ры́бы морскі́я, преходя́щыя стези́ морскі́я.

the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, the creatures passing through the paths of the sea.

Го́споди Госпо́дь на́шъ, я́ко чу́дно и́мя Твоє́ по все́й земли́.

O Lord our Lord, how wonderful is thy name in all the earth!

Исповѣ́мся Тебѣ́, Го́споди, всѣ́мъ се́рдцемъ мои́мъ, повѣ́мъ вся́ чудеса́ Твоя́.

I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all thy wonderful works.

Возвеселю́ся и возра́дуюся о Тебѣ́, пою́ и́мени Твоєму́, Вы́шній.

I will be glad and exult in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou Most High.

Внегда́ возврати́тися врагу́ моєму́ вспя́ть, изнемо́гутъ и поги́бнутъ от лица́ Твоєго́.

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall be feeble and perish at thy presence.

Я́ко сотвори́лъ єси́ су́дъ мо́й и прю́ мою́: сѣ́лъ єси́ на престо́лѣ, судя́й пра́вду.

For thou hast maintained my cause and my right; thou satest on the throne, that judgest righteousness.

Запрети́лъ єси́ язы́комъ, и поги́бе нечести́вый: и́мя єго́ потреби́лъ єси́ въ вѣ́къ и въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка.

Thou hast rebuked the nations, and the ungodly one has perished; thou hast blotted out their name for ever, even for ever and ever.

Врагу́ оскудѣ́ша ору́жія въ коне́цъ, и гра́ды разруши́лъ єси́: поги́бе па́мять єго́ съ шу́момъ.

The swords of the enemy have failed utterly; and thou hast destroyed cities: their memorial has been destroyed with a noise,

И Госпо́дь во вѣ́къ пребыва́єтъ, угото́ва на су́дъ престо́лъ Сво́й:

but the Lord endures for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.

и То́й суди́ти и́мать вселе́ннѣй въ пра́вду, суди́ти и́мать лю́демъ въ правотѣ́.

And he will judge the world in righteousness, he will judge the nations in uprightness.

И бы́сть Госпо́дь прибѣ́жище убо́гому, помо́щникъ во благовре́меніихъ, въ ско́рбехъ.

The Lord also is become a refuge for the poor, a seasonable help, in affliction.

И да упова́ютъ на Тя́ зна́ющіи и́мя Твоє́, я́ко не оста́вилъ єси́ взыска́ющихъ Тя́, Го́споди.

And let them that know thy name hope in thee: for thou, O Lord, hast not failed them that diligently seek thee.

По́йте Го́сподеви, живу́щему въ Сіо́нѣ, возвѣсти́те во язы́цѣхъ начина́нія Єго́:

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Sion: declare his dealings among the nations.

я́ко взыска́яй кро́ви и́хъ помяну́, не забы́ зва́нія убо́гихъ.

For he remembered them, in making inquisition for blood: he has not forgotten the supplication of the poor.

Поми́луй мя́, Го́споди, ви́ждь смире́ніє моє́ от вра́гъ мои́хъ, вознося́й мя́ от вра́тъ сме́ртныхъ:

Have mercy upon me, O Lord; look upon my affliction which I suffer of mine enemies, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

я́ко да возвѣщу́ вся́ хвалы́ Твоя́ во вратѣ́хъ дще́ре Сіо́ни: возра́дуємся о спасе́ніи Твоє́мъ.

that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion: I will exult in thy salvation.

Углѣбо́ша язы́цы въ па́губѣ, ю́же сотвори́ша: въ сѣ́ти се́й, ю́же скры́ша, увязе́ нога́ и́хъ.

The heathen are caught in the destruction which they planned: in the very snare which they hid is their foot taken.

Зна́ємь є́сть Госпо́дь судьбы́ творя́й: въ дѣ́лѣхъ руку́ своє́ю увязе́ грѣ́шникъ.

The Lord is known as executing judgments: the sinner is taken in the works of his hands. A song of Pause.

Да возвратя́тся грѣ́шницы во а́дъ, вси́ язы́цы забыва́ющіи Бо́га.

Let sinners be driven away into Hades, even all the nations that forget God.

Я́ко не до конца́ забве́нъ бу́детъ ни́щій, терпѣ́ніє убо́гихъ не поги́бнетъ до конца́.

Appoint, O Lord, a lawgiver over them: let the heathen know that they are men. Pause.

Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why dost thou overlook us in times of need, in affliction?

Внегда́ горди́тися нечести́вому, возгара́єтся ни́щій: увяза́ютъ въ совѣ́тѣхъ, я́же помышля́ютъ.

While the ungodly one acts proudly, the poor is hotly pursued: the wicked are taken in the crafty counsels which they imagine.

Я́ко хвали́мь є́сть грѣ́шный въ по́хотехъ души́ своєя́, и оби́дяй благослови́мь є́сть.

Because the sinner praises himself for the desires of his heart; and the unjust one blesses himself.

Раздражи́ Го́спода грѣ́шный: по мно́жеству гнѣ́ва своєго́ не взы́щетъ: нѣ́сть Бо́га предъ ни́мъ.

The sinner has provoked the Lord: according to the abundance of his pride he will not seek after him: God is not before him.

Оскверня́ются путіє́ єго́ на вся́ко вре́мя: отъе́млются судьбы́ Твоя́ от лица́ єго́: всѣ́ми враги́ свои́ми облада́єтъ.

His ways are profane at all times; thy judgments are removed from before him: he will gain the mastery over all his enemies.

Рече́ бо въ се́рдцы своє́мъ: не подви́жуся от ро́да въ ро́дъ безъ зла́:

For he has said in his heart, I shall not be moved, continuing without evil from generation to generation.

єго́же кля́твы уста́ єго́ по́лна су́ть, и го́рести и льсти́: подъ язы́комъ єго́ тру́дъ и болѣ́знь.

Whose mouth is full of cursing, and bitterness, and fraud: under his tongue are trouble and pain.

Присѣди́тъ въ лови́телствѣ съ бога́тыми въ та́йныхъ, є́же уби́ти непови́ннаго: о́чи єго́ на ни́щаго призира́єтѣ.

He lies in wait with rich men in secret places, in order to slay the innocent: his eyes are set against the poor.

Лови́тъ въ та́йнѣ я́ко ле́въ во огра́дѣ своє́й, лови́тъ є́же восхи́тити ни́щаго, внегда́ привлещи́ и́ въ сѣ́ти своє́й.

He lies in wait in secret as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to ravish the poor, to ravish the poor when he draws him after him: he will bring him down in his snare.

Смири́тъ єго́: преклони́тся и паде́тъ, внегда́ єму́ облада́ти убо́гими.

He will bow down and fall when he has mastered the poor.

Рече́ бо въ се́рдцы своє́мъ: забы́ Бо́гъ, отврати́ лице́ Своє́, да не ви́дитъ до конца́.

For he has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he has turned away his face so as never to look.

Воскре́сни́, Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, да вознесе́тся рука́ Твоя́, не забу́ди убо́гихъ Твои́хъ до конца́.

Arise, O Lord God; let thy hand be lifted up: forget not the poor.

Чесо́ ра́ди прогнѣ́ва нечести́вый Бо́га? Рече́ бо въ се́рдцы своє́мъ: не взы́щетъ.

Wherefore has the wicked provoked God? for he has said in his heart, He will not require it.

Ви́диши, я́ко Ты́ болѣ́знь и я́рость смотря́єши, да пре́данъ бу́детъ въ ру́цѣ Твои́: Тебѣ́ оста́вленъ є́сть ни́щій, си́ру Ты́ бу́ди помо́щникъ.

Thou seest it; for thou dost observe trouble and wrath, to deliver them into thy hands: the poor has been left to thee; thou wast a helper to the orphan.

Сокруши́ мы́шцу грѣ́шному и лука́вому: взы́щется грѣ́хъ єго́ и не обря́щется.

Break thou the arm of the sinner and wicked man: his sin shall be sought for, and shall not be found.

Госпо́дь Ца́рь во вѣ́къ и въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка: поги́бнете, язы́цы, от земли́ Єго́.

The Lord shall reign for ever, even for ever and ever: ye Gentiles shall perish out of his land.

The Lord has heard the desire of the poor: thine ear has inclined to the preparation of their heart;

to plead for the orphan and afflicted, that man may no more boast upon the earth.

For the end, a Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will ye say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?

На Го́спода упова́хъ, ка́ко рече́те души́ моє́й: превита́й по гора́мъ, я́ко пти́ца?

For behold the sinners have bent their bow, they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot privily at the upright in heart.

Я́ко се́, грѣ́шницы наляко́ша лу́къ, угото́ваша стрѣ́лы въ ту́лѣ, сострѣля́ти во мра́цѣ пра́выя се́рдцемъ.

For they have pulled down what thou didst frame, but what has the righteous done?

Зане́ я́же Ты́ соверши́лъ єси́, они́ разруши́ша: пра́ведникъ же что́ сотвори́?

The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.

Госпо́дь во хра́мѣ святѣ́мъ Своє́мъ. Госпо́дь, на небеси́ престо́лъ Єго́: о́чи Єго́ на ни́щаго призира́єтѣ, вѣ́жди Єго́ испыта́єтѣ сы́ны человѣ́ческія.

The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.

Госпо́дь испыта́єтъ пра́веднаго и нечести́ваго: любя́й же непра́вду ненави́дитъ свою́ ду́шу.

He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast shall be the portion of their cup.

Одожди́тъ на грѣ́шники сѣ́ти: о́гнь и жу́пелъ, и ду́хъ бу́ренъ ча́сть ча́ши и́хъ.

For the Lord is righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.

Спаси́ мя, Го́споди, я́ко оскудѣ́ преподо́бный: я́ко ума́лишася и́стины от сыно́въ человѣ́ческихъ.

Save me, O Lord; for the godly man has failed; for truth is diminished from among the children of men.

Су́єтная глаго́ла кі́йждо ко и́скреннему своєму́: устнѣ́ льсти́выя въ се́рдцы, и въ се́рдцы глаго́лаша зла́я.

Every one has spoken vanity to his neighbour: their lips are deceitful, they have spoken with a double heart.

Потреби́тъ Госпо́дь вся́ устны́ льсти́выя, язы́къ велерѣ́чивый,

Let the Lord destroy all the deceitful lips, and the tongue that speaks great words:

ре́кшыя: язы́къ на́шъ возвели́чимъ, устны́ на́ша при на́съ су́ть: кто́ на́мъ госпо́дь є́сть?

who have said, We will magnify our tongue; our lips are our own: who is Lord of us?

Стра́сти ра́ди ни́щихъ и воздыха́нія убо́гихъ ны́нѣ воскре́сну́, глаго́летъ Госпо́дь: положу́ся во спасе́ніє, не обиню́ся о не́мъ.

Because of the misery of the poor, and because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord, I will set them in safety; I will speak to them thereof openly.

Словеса́ Госпо́дня словеса́ чи́ста, сребро́ разжже́но, искуше́но земли́, очище́но седмери́цею.

The oracles of the Lord are pure oracles; as silver tried in the fire, proved in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Thou, O Lord, shalt keep us, and shalt preserve us, from this generation, and for ever.

How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me? for ever? how long wilt thou turn away thy face from me?

Доко́лѣ положу́ совѣ́ты въ души́ моє́й, болѣ́зни въ се́рдцы моє́мъ де́нь и но́щь? Доко́лѣ вознесе́тся вра́гъ мо́й на мя́?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrows in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

При́зри, услы́ши мя́, Го́споди Бо́же мо́й: просвѣти́ о́чи мои́, да не когда́ усну́ въ сме́рть:

Look on me, hearken to me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep in death;

да не когда́ рече́тъ вра́гъ мо́й: укрѣпи́хся на него́. 6Стужа́ющіи ми́ возра́дуются, а́ще подви́жуся.

lest at any time mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him: my persecutors will exult if ever I should be moved.

7А́зъ же на ми́лость Твою́ упова́хъ: возра́дуєтся се́рдце моє́ о спасе́ніи Твоє́мъ: воспою́ Го́сподеви благодѣ́явшему мнѣ́ и пою́ и́мени Го́спода Вы́шняго.

But I have hoped in thy mercy; my heart shall exult in thy salvation. I will sing to the Lord who has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord most high.

For the end, a Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, and become abominable in their devices; there is none that does goodness, there is not even so much as one.

Рече́ безу́менъ въ се́рдцы своє́мъ: нѣ́сть Бо́гъ. Растлѣ́ша и омерзи́шася въ начина́ніихъ: нѣ́сть творя́й благосты́ню.

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the sons of men, to see if there were any that understood, or sought after God.

Госпо́дь съ небесе́ прини́че на сы́ны человѣ́ческія, ви́дѣти, а́ще є́сть разумѣва́яй, или́ взыска́яй Бо́га.

They are all gone out of the way, they are together become good for nothing, there is none that does good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood: destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known: there is no fear of God before their eyes.

Will not all the workers of iniquity know, who eat up my people as they would eat bread? they have not called upon the Lord.

Ни ли́ уразумѣ́ютъ вси́ дѣ́лающіи беззако́ніє, снѣда́ющіи лю́ди моя́ въ снѣ́дь хлѣ́ба? Го́спода не призва́ша.

There were they alarmed with fear, where there was no fear; for God is in the righteous generation.

Та́мо убоя́шася стра́ха, идѣ́же не бѣ́ стра́хъ: я́ко Госпо́дь въ ро́дѣ пра́ведныхъ.

Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his hope.

Совѣ́тъ ни́щаго посрами́сте: Госпо́дь же упова́ніє єго́ є́сть.

Who will bring the salvation of Israel out of Sion? when the Lord brings back the captivity of his people, let Jacob exult, and Israel be glad.

A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? and who shall dwell in thy holy mountain?

Го́споди, кто́ обита́єтъ въ жили́щи Твоє́мъ? Или́ кто́ всели́тся во святу́ю го́ру Твою́?

He that walks blameless, and works righteousness, who speaks truth in his heart.

Ходя́й непоро́ченъ и дѣ́лаяй пра́вду, глаго́ляй и́стину въ се́рдцы своє́мъ:

Who has not spoken craftily with his tongue, neither has done evil to his neighbour, nor taken up a reproach against them that dwelt nearest to him.

и́же не ульсти́ язы́комъ свои́мъ и не сотвори́ и́скреннему своєму́ зла́, и поноше́нія не прія́тъ на бли́жнія своя́:

In his sight an evil-worker is set at nought, but he honours them that fear the Lord. He swears to his neighbour, and disappoints him not.

уничиже́нъ є́сть предъ ни́мъ лука́внуяй, боя́щыяжеся Го́спода сла́витъ: клены́йся и́скреннему своєму́ и не отмета́яся:

He has not lent his money on usury, and has not received bribes against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

сребра́ своєго́ не даде́ въ ли́хву и мзды́ на непови́нныхъ не прія́тъ. Творя́й сія́ не подви́жится во вѣ́къ.

Столпописа́ніє, Дави́ду, 15.

A writing of David. Keep me, O Lord; for I have hoped in thee.

Сохрани́ мя, Го́споди, я́ко на Тя́ упова́хъ.

I said to the Lord, Thou art my Lord; for thou hast no need of my goodness.

Рѣ́хъ Го́сподеви: Госпо́дь мо́й єси́ Ты́, я́ко благи́хъ мои́хъ не тре́буєши.

On behalf of the saints that are in his land, he has magnified all his pleasure in them.

Святы́мъ, и́же су́ть на земли́ Єго́, удиви́ Госпо́дь вся́ хотѣ́нія Своя́ въ ни́хъ.

Their weaknesses have been multiplied; afterward they hasted. I will by no means assemble their bloody meetings, neither will I make mention of their names with my lips.

Умно́жишася не́мощи и́хъ, по си́хъ ускори́ша: не соберу́ собо́ры и́хъ от крове́й, ни помяну́ же име́нъ и́хъ устна́ма мои́ма.

The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou art he that restores my inheritance to me.

Госпо́дь ча́сть достоя́нія моєго́ и ча́ши моєя́: Ты́ єси́ устроя́яй достоя́ніє моє́ мнѣ́.

The lines have fallen to me in the best places, yea, I have a most excellent heritage.

У́жя нападо́ша ми́ въ держа́вныхъ мои́хъ: и́бо достоя́ніє моє́ держа́вно є́сть мнѣ́.

I will bless the Lord who has instructed me; my reins too have chastened me even till night.

Благословлю́ Го́спода вразуми́вшаго мя́: єще́ же и до но́щи наказа́ша мя́ утро́бы моя́.

I foresaw the Lord always before my face; for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.

Предзрѣ́хъ Го́спода предо мно́ю вы́ну, я́ко одесну́ю мене́ є́сть, да не подви́жуся.

Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Сего́ ра́ди возвесели́ся се́рдце моє́, и возра́довася язы́къ мо́й: єще́ же и пло́ть моя́ всели́тся на упова́ніи.

because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Я́ко не оста́виши ду́шу мою́ во а́дѣ, ниже́ да́си преподобному Твоєму́ ви́дѣти истлѣ́нія.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou wilt fill me with joy with thy countenance: at thy right hand there are delights for ever.

Сказа́лъ ми́ єси́ пути́ живота́: испо́лниши мя́ весе́лія съ лице́мъ Твои́мъ: красота́ {сла́дость} въ десни́цѣ Твоє́й въ коне́цъ.

A Prayer of David. Hearken, O Lord of my righteousness, attend to my petition; give ear to my prayer not uttered with deceitful lips.

Услы́ши, Го́споди, пра́вду мою́, вонми́ моле́нію моєму́, внуши́ моли́тву мою́ не во устна́хъ льсти́выхъ.

Let my judgment come forth from thy presence; let mine eyes behold righteousness.

От лица́ Твоєго́ судьба́ моя́ изы́детъ: о́чи мои́ да ви́дита правоты́.

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me by night; thou hast tried me as with fire, and unrighteousness has not been found in me: I am purposed that my mouth shall not speak amiss.

Искуси́лъ єси́ се́рдце моє́, посѣти́лъ єси́ но́щію: искуси́лъ мя́ єси́, и не обрѣ́теся во мнѣ́ непра́вда.

As for the works of men, by the words of thy lips I have guarded myself from hard ways.

Я́ко да не возглаго́лютъ уста́ моя́ дѣ́лъ человѣ́ческихъ, за словеса́ усте́нъ Твои́хъ а́зъ сохрани́хъ пути́ же́стоки.

Direct my steps in thy paths, that my steps slip not.

Соверши́ стопы́ моя́ во стезя́хъ Твои́хъ, да не подви́жутся стопы́ моя́.

I have cried, for thou heardest me, O God: incline thine ear to me, and hearken to my words.

А́зъ воззва́хъ, я́ко услы́шалъ мя́ єси́, Бо́же: приклони́ у́хо Твоє́ мнѣ́ и услы́ши глаго́лы моя́.

Shew the marvels of thy mercies, thou that savest them that hope in thee.

Удиви́ ми́лости Твоя́, спаса́яй упова́ющыя на Тя́ от проти́вящихся десни́цѣ Твоє́й:

Keep me as the apple of the eye from those that resist thy right hand: thou shalt screen me by the covering of thy wings,

сохрани́ мя, Го́споди, я́ко зѣ́ницу о́ка: въ кро́вѣ крилу́ Твоє́ю покры́єши мя́

from the face of the ungodly that have afflicted me: mine enemies have compassed about my soul.

от лица́ нечести́выхъ остра́стшихъ {оби́дящихъ} мя́: врази́ мои́ ду́шу мою́ одержа́ша

They have enclosed themselves with their own fat: their mouth has spoken pride.

ту́къ сво́й затвори́ша, уста́ и́хъ глаго́лаша горды́ню.

They have now cast me out and compassed me round about: they have set their eyes so as to bow them down to the ground.

Изгоня́щіи мя́ ны́нѣ обыдо́ша мя́, о́чи свои́ возложи́ша уклони́ти на зе́млю.

They laid wait for me as a lion ready for prey, and like a lion's whelp dwelling in secret places.

Объя́ша мя́ я́ко ле́въ гото́въ на ло́въ и я́ко ски́менъ обита́яй въ та́йныхъ.

Arise, O Lord, prevent them, and cast them down: deliver my soul from the ungodly: draw thy sword,

Воскре́сни́, Го́споди, предвари́ я́ и запни́ и́мъ: изба́ви ду́шу мою́ от нечести́ваго, ору́жіє Твоє́

because of the enemies of thine hand: O Lord, destroy them from the earth; scatter them in their life, though their belly has been filled with thy hidden treasures: they have been satisfied with uncleanness, and have left the remnant of their possessions to their babes.

от вра́гъ руки́ Твоєя́, Го́споди, от ма́лыхъ от земли́: раздѣли́ я́ въ животѣ́ и́хъ, и сокрове́нныхъ Твои́хъ испо́лнися чре́во и́хъ: насы́тишася сыно́въ, и оста́виша оста́нки младе́нцемъ свои́мъ.

But I shall appear in righteousness before thy face: I shall be satisfied when thy glory appears.

А́зъ же пра́вдою явлю́ся лицу́ Твоєму́, насы́щуся, внегда́ яви́тимися сла́вѣ Твоє́й.

Въ коне́цъ, о́троку Госпо́дню Дави́ду, я́же глаго́ла Го́сподеви словеса́ пѣ́сни сея́, въ де́нь, въ о́ньже изба́ви єго́ Госпо́дь от руки́ всѣ́хъ вра́гъ єго́ и изъ руки́ Сау́ли: и рече́:

For the end, a Psalm of David the servant of the Lord; the words which he spoke to the Lord, even the words of this Song, in the day in which the Lord delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: and he said:

Возлюблю́ Тя, Го́споди, крѣ́посте моя́:

I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

Госпо́дь утвержде́ніє моє́, и прибѣ́жище моє́, и изба́витель мо́й, Бо́гъ мо́й, помо́щникъ мо́й, и упова́ю на Него́: защи́титель мо́й, и ро́гъ спасе́нія моєго́, и засту́пникъ мо́й.

The Lord is my firm support, and my refuge, and my deliverer; my God is my helper, I will hope in him; he is my defender, and the horn of my salvation, and my helper.

Хваля́ призову́ Го́спода и от вра́гъ мои́хъ спасу́ся.

I will call upon the Lord with praises, and I shall be saved from mine enemies.

Одержа́ша мя́ болѣ́зни сме́ртныя, и пото́цы беззако́нія смято́ша мя́:

The pangs of death compassed me, and the torrents of ungodliness troubled me exceedingly.

болѣ́зни а́довы обыдо́ша мя́, предвари́ша мя́ сѣ́ти сме́ртныя.

The pangs of hell came round about me: the snares of death prevented me.

И внегда́ скорбѣ́ти ми́, призва́хъ Го́спода и къ Бо́гу моєму́ воззва́хъ: услы́ша от хра́ма свята́го Своєго́ гла́съ мо́й, и во́пль мо́й предъ Ни́мъ вни́детъ во у́шы Єго́.

And when I was afflicted I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: he heard my voice out of his holy temple, and my cry shall enter before him, even into his ears.

И подви́жеся и тре́петна бы́сть земля́, и основа́нія го́ръ смято́шася и подвиго́шася, я́ко прогнѣ́вася на ня́ Бо́гъ.

Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains were disturbed, and were shaken, because God was angry with them.

Взы́де ды́мъ гнѣ́вомъ Єго́, и о́гнь от лица́ Єго́ воспла́менится: у́гліє возгорѣ́ся от Него́.

There went up a smoke in his wrath, and fire burst into a flame at his presence: coals were kindled at it.

И приклони́ небеса́ и сни́де, и мра́къ подъ нога́ма Єго́.

And he bowed the heaven, and came down: and thick darkness was under his feet.

И взы́де на Херуві́мы и летѣ́, летѣ́ на крилу́ вѣ́треню.

And he mounted on cherubs and flew: he flew on the wings of winds.

И положи́ тму́ закро́въ Сво́й: о́крестъ Єго́ селе́ніє Єго́: темна́ вода́ во о́блацѣхъ возду́шныхъ.

And he made darkness his secret place: round about him was his tabernacle, even dark water in the clouds of the air.

От облиста́нія предъ Ни́мъ о́блацы проидо́ша, гра́дъ и у́гліє о́гненноє.

At the brightness before him the clouds passed, hail and coals of fire.

И возгремѣ́ съ небесе́ Госпо́дь, и Вы́шній даде́ гла́съ Сво́й.

The Lord also thundered from heaven, and the Highest uttered his voice.

Низпосла́ стрѣ́лы и разгна́ я́, и мо́лніи умно́жи и смяте́ я́.

And he sent forth his weapons, and scattered them; and multiplied lightnings, and routed them.

И яви́шася исто́чницы водні́и, и откры́шася основа́нія вселе́нныя от запреще́нія Твоєго́, Го́споди, от дохнове́нія ду́ха гнѣ́ва Твоєго́.

And the springs of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed, at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blasting of the breath of thy wrath.

Низпосла́ съ высоты́ и прія́тъ мя́, воспрія́тъ мя́ от во́дъ мно́гихъ.

He sent from on high and took me, he drew me to himself out of many waters.

Изба́витъ мя́ от враго́въ мои́хъ си́льныхъ и от ненави́дящихъ мя́: я́ко утверди́шася па́че мене́.

He will deliver me from my mighty enemies, and from them that hate me; for they are stronger than I.

Предвари́ша мя́ въ де́нь озлобле́нія моєго́: и бы́сть Госпо́дь утвержде́ніє моє́.

They prevented me in the day of mine affliction: but the Lord was my stay against them.

И изведе́ мя на широту́: изба́витъ мя́, я́ко восхотѣ́ мя.

And he brought me out into a wide place: he will deliver me, because he has pleasure in me.

И возда́стъ ми́ Госпо́дь по пра́вдѣ моє́й, и по чистотѣ́ руку́ моє́ю возда́стъ ми́,

And the Lord will recompense me according to my righteousness; even according to the purity of my hands will he recompense me.

я́ко сохрани́хъ пути́ Госпо́дни и не нече́ствовахъ от Бо́га моєго́.

For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not wickedly departed from my God.

Я́ко вся́ судьбы́ Єго́ предо мно́ю, и оправда́нія Єго́ не отступи́ша от мене́.

For all his judgments were before me, and his ordinances departed not from me.

И бу́ду непоро́ченъ съ Ни́мъ и сохраню́ся от беззако́нія моєго́.

And I shall be blameless with him, and shall keep myself from mine iniquity.

И возда́стъ ми́ Госпо́дь по пра́вдѣ моє́й и по чистотѣ́ руку́ моє́ю предъ очи́ма Єго́.

And the Lord shall recompense me according to my righteousness, and according to the purity of my hands before his eyes.

Съ преподо́бнымъ преподо́бенъ бу́деши, и съ му́жемъ непови́ннымъ непови́ненъ бу́деши,

With the holy thou wilt be holy; and with the innocent man thou wilt be innocent.

и со избра́ннымъ избра́нъ бу́деши, и со стропти́вымъ разврати́шися.

And with the excellent man thou wilt be excellent; and with the perverse thou wilt shew frowardness.

Я́ко Ты́ лю́ди смире́нныя спасе́ши и о́чи го́рдыхъ смири́ши.

For thou wilt save the lowly people, and wilt humble the eyes of the proud.

Я́ко Ты́ просвѣти́ши свѣти́лникъ мо́й, Го́споди: Бо́же мо́й, просвѣти́ши тму́ мою́.

For thou, O Lord, wilt light my lamp: my God, thou wilt lighten my darkness.

Я́ко Тобо́ю изба́влюся от искуше́нія, и Бо́гомъ мои́мъ прейду́ стѣ́ну.

For by thee shall I be delivered from a troop; and by my God I will pass over a wall.

Бо́гъ мо́й, непоро́ченъ пу́ть Єго́: словеса́ Госпо́дня разжже́на. Защи́титель є́сть всѣ́хъ упова́ющихъ на Него́.

As for my God, his way is perfect: the oracles of the Lord are tried in the fire; he is a protector of all them that hope in him.

Я́ко кто́ Бо́гъ, ра́звѣ Го́спода? Или́ кто́ Бо́гъ, ра́звѣ Бо́га на́шего?

For who is God but the Lord? and who is a God except our God?

Бо́гъ препоясу́яй мя́ си́лою, и положи́ непоро́ченъ пу́ть мо́й:

It is God that girds me with strength, and has made my way blameless:

соверша́яй но́зѣ мои́ я́ко єле́ни, и на высо́кихъ поставля́яй мя́:

who strengthens my feet as hart's feet, and sets me upon high places.

науча́яй ру́цѣ мои́ на бра́нь, и положи́лъ єси́ лу́къ мѣ́дянъ мы́шца моя́:

He instructs my hands for war; and thou hast made my arms as a brazen bow.

и да́лъ ми́ єси́ защище́ніє спасе́нія, и десни́ца Твоя́ воспрія́тъ мя́: и наказа́ніє Твоє́ испра́витъ мя́ въ коне́цъ, и наказа́ніє Твоє́ то́ мя́ научи́тъ.

And thou hast made me secure in my salvation: and thy right hand has helped me, and thy correction has upheld me to the end; yea, thy correction itself shall instruct me.

Ушири́лъ єси́ стопы́ моя́ подо мно́ю, и не изнемого́стѣ плеснѣ́ мои́.

Thou hast made room for my goings under me, and my footsteps did not fail.

Пожену́ враги́ моя́, и пости́гну я́, и не возвращу́ся, до́ндеже сконча́ются:

I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them; and I will not turn back until they are consumed.

оскорблю́ и́хъ, и не возмо́гутъ ста́ти, паду́тъ подъ нога́ма мои́ма.

I will dash them to pieces and they shall not be able to stand: they shall fall under my feet.

И препоя́салъ мя́ єси́ си́лою на бра́нь, спя́лъ єси́ вся́ востаю́щыя на мя́ подъ мя́.

For thou hast girded me with strength for war: thou hast beaten down under me all that rose up against me.

И враго́въ мои́хъ да́лъ ми́ єси́ хребе́тъ и ненави́дящыя мя́ потреби́лъ єси́.

And thou hast made mine enemies turn their backs before me; and thou hast destroyed them that hated me.

Воззва́ша, и не бѣ́ спаса́яй: ко Го́споду, и не услы́ша и́хъ.

They cried, but there was no deliverer: even to the Lord, but he hearkened not to them.

И истню́ я́ я́ко пра́хъ предъ лице́мъ вѣ́тра, я́ко бре́ніє путі́й погла́жду я́.

I will grind them as the mud of the streets: and I will beat them small as dust before the wind.

Изба́виши мя́ от прерѣка́нія люді́й: поста́виши мя́ во главу́ язы́ковъ: лю́діє, и́хже не вѣ́дѣхъ, рабо́таша ми́,

Deliver me from the gainsayings of the people: thou shalt make me head of the Gentiles: a people whom I knew not served me,

въ слу́хъ у́ха послу́шаша мя́. Сы́нове чужді́и солга́ша ми́,

at the hearing of the ear they obeyed me: the strange children lied to me.

сы́нове чужді́и обетша́ша и охромо́ша от сте́зь свои́хъ.

The strange children waxed old, and fell away from their paths through lameness.

Жи́въ Госпо́дь, и благослове́нъ Бо́гъ, и да вознесе́тся Бо́гъ спасе́нія моєго́,

The Lord lives; and blessed be my God; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Бо́гъ дая́й отмще́ніє мнѣ́ и покори́вый лю́ди подъ мя́,

It is God that avenges me, and has subdued the nations under me;

изба́витель мо́й от вра́гъ мои́хъ гнѣвли́выхъ: от востаю́щихъ на мя́ вознесе́ши мя́, от му́жа непра́ведна изба́виши мя́.

my deliverer from angry enemies: thou shalt set me on high above them that rise up against me: thou shalt deliver me from the unrighteous man.

Сего́ ра́ди исповѣ́мся Тебѣ́ во язы́цѣхъ, Го́споди, и и́мени Твоєму́ пою́:

Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and sing to thy name.

Велича́яй спасе́нія царе́ва и творя́й ми́лость Хрісту́ Своєму́ Давиду и сѣ́мени єго́ до вѣ́ка.

God magnifies the deliverances of his king; and deals mercifully with David his anointed, and his seed, for ever.

For the end, a Psalm of David.

Небеса́ повѣ́даютъ сла́ву Бо́жію, творе́ніє же руку́ Єго́ возвѣща́єтъ тве́рдь.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.

Де́нь дни́ отрыга́єтъ глаго́лъ, и но́щь но́щи возвѣща́єтъ ра́зумъ.

Day to day utters speech, and night to night proclaims knowledge.

Не су́ть рѣ́чи, ниже́ словеса́, и́хже не слы́шатся гла́си и́хъ.

There are no speeches or words, in which their voices are not heard.

Во всю́ зе́млю изы́де вѣща́ніє и́хъ, и въ концы́ вселе́нныя глаго́лы и́хъ: въ со́лнцѣ положи́ селе́ніє Своє́:

Their voice is gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.

и то́й я́ко жени́хъ исходя́й от черто́га своєго́, возра́дуєтся я́ко исполи́нъ тещи́ пу́ть.

In the sun he has set his tabernacle; and he comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber: he will exult as a giant to run his course.

От кра́я небесе́ исхо́дъ єго́, и срѣ́теніє єго́ до кра́я небесе́: и нѣ́сть, и́же укры́єтся теплоты́ єго́.

His going forth is from the extremity of heaven, and his circuit to the other end of heaven: and no one shall be hidden from his heat.

Зако́нъ Госпо́день непоро́ченъ, обраща́яй ду́шы: свидѣ́телство Госпо́дне вѣ́рно, умудря́ющеє младе́нцы.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, instructing babes.

Оправда́нія Госпо́дня пра́ва, веселя́щая се́рдце: за́повѣдь Госпо́дня свѣтла́, просвѣща́ющая о́чи.

The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.

Стра́хъ Госпо́день чи́стъ, пребыва́яй въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка: судьбы́ Госпо́дни и́стинны, оправда́нны вку́пѣ,

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, and justified altogether.

вожделѣ́нны па́че зла́та и ка́мене че́стна мно́га, и сла́ждшя па́че ме́да и со́та.

To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.

И́бо ра́бъ Тво́й храни́тъ я́: внегда́ сохрани́ти я́, воздая́ніє мно́го.

For thy servant keeps to them: in the keeping of them there is great reward.

Грѣхопаде́нія кто́ разумѣ́єтъ? От та́йныхъ мои́хъ очи́сти мя́,

Who will understand his transgressions? purge thou me from my secret sins.

и от чужди́хъ пощади́ раба́ Твоєго́: а́ще не облада́ютъ мно́ю, тогда́ непоро́ченъ бу́ду, и очи́щуся от грѣха́ вели́ка.

And spare thy servant the attack of strangers: if they do not gain the dominion over me, then shall I be blameless, and I shall be clear from great sin.

И бу́дутъ во благоволе́ніє словеса́ у́стъ мои́хъ, и поуче́ніє се́рдца моєго́ предъ Тобо́ю вы́ну, Го́споди, помо́щниче мо́й и изба́вителю мо́й.

So shall the sayings of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing continually before thee, O Lord my helper, and my redeemer.

Услы́шитъ тя́ Госпо́дь въ де́нь печа́ли, защи́титъ тя́ и́мя Бо́га Іа́ковля.

The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee.

По́слетъ ти́ по́мощь от Свята́го, и от Сіо́на засту́питъ тя́.

Send thee help from the sanctuary, and aid thee out of Sion.

Помяне́тъ вся́ку же́ртву твою́, и всесожже́ніє твоє́ ту́чно бу́ди.

Remember all thy sacrifice, and enrich thy whole-burnt-offering. Pause.

Да́стъ ти́ Госпо́дь по се́рдцу твоєму́, и ве́сь совѣ́тъ тво́й испо́лнитъ.

Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy desire.

Возра́дуємся о спасе́ніи твоє́мъ, и во и́мя Го́спода Бо́га на́шего возвели́чимся: испо́лнитъ Госпо́дь вся́ проше́нія твоя́.

We will exult in thy salvation, and in the name of our God shall we be magnified: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

Ны́нѣ позна́хъ, я́ко спасе́ Госпо́дь Хріста́ Своєго́: услы́шитъ єго́ съ небесе́ свята́го Своєго́: въ си́лахъ спасе́ніє десни́цы Єго́.

Now I know that the Lord has saved his Christ: he shall hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is mighty.

Сі́и на колесни́цахъ, и сі́и на ко́нехъ: мы́ же во и́мя Го́спода Бо́га на́шего призове́мъ.

Some glory in chariots, and some in horses: but we will glory in the name of the Lord our God.

Ті́и спя́ти бы́ша и падо́ша: мы́ же воста́хомъ и испра́вихомся.

They are overthrown and fallen: but we are risen, and have been set upright.

Го́споди, спаси́ царя́, и услы́ши ны́, въ о́ньже а́ще де́нь призове́мъ Тя́.

O Lord, save the king: and hear us in whatever day we call upon thee.

Го́споди, си́лою Твоє́ю возвесели́тся ца́рь, и о спасе́ніи Твоє́мъ возра́дуєтся зѣло́.

O Lord, the king shall rejoice in thy strength; and in thy salvation he shall greatly exult.

Жела́ніє се́рдца єго́ да́лъ єси́ єму́, и хотѣ́нія устну́ єго́ нѣ́си лиши́лъ єго́.

Thou hast granted him the desire of his soul, and hast not withheld from him the request of his lips. Pause.

Я́ко предвари́лъ єси́ єго́ благослове́ніємъ благосты́ннымъ, положи́лъ єси́ на главѣ́ єго́ вѣне́цъ от ка́мене че́стна.

For thou hast prevented him with blessings of goodness: thou hast set upon his head a crown of precious stone.

Живота́ проси́лъ є́сть у Тебе́, и да́лъ єси́ єму́ долготу́ дні́й во вѣ́къ вѣ́ка.

He asked life of thee, and thou gavest him length of days for ever and ever.

Ве́лія сла́ва єго́ спасе́ніємъ Твои́мъ: сла́ву и велелѣ́піє возложи́ши на него́.

His glory is great in thy salvation: thou wilt crown him with glory and majesty.

Я́ко да́си єму́ благослове́ніє во вѣ́къ вѣ́ка: возвесели́ши єго́ ра́достію съ лице́мъ Твои́мъ.

For thou wilt give him a blessing for ever and ever: thou wilt gladden him with joy with thy countenance.

Я́ко ца́рь упова́єтъ на Го́спода, и ми́лостію Вы́шняго не подви́жится.

For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Highest he shall not be moved.

Да обря́щется рука́ Твоя́ всѣ́мъ враго́мъ Твои́мъ, десни́ца Твоя́ да обря́щетъ вся́ ненави́дящыя Тебе́.

Let thy hand be found by all thine enemies: let thy right hand find all that hate thee.

Я́ко положи́ши и́хъ я́ко пе́щь о́гненную во вре́мя лица́ Твоєго́: Госпо́дь гнѣ́вомъ Свои́мъ смяте́тъ я́, и снѣ́сть и́хъ о́гнь.

Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven at the time of thy presence: the Lord shall trouble them in his anger, and fire shall devour them.

Пло́дъ и́хъ от земли́ погуби́ши, и сѣ́мя и́хъ от сыно́въ человѣ́ческихъ.

Thou shalt destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of men.

Я́ко уклони́ша на Тя́ зла́я, помы́слиша совѣ́ты, и́хже не возмо́гутъ соста́вити.

For they intended evils against thee; they imagined a device which they shall by no means be able to perform.

Я́ко положи́ши я́ хребе́тъ: во избы́тцѣхъ Твои́хъ угото́виши лице́ и́хъ.

For thou shalt make them turn their back in thy latter end, thou wilt prepare their face.

Вознеси́ся, Го́споди, си́лою Твоє́ю: воспоє́мъ и поє́мъ си́лы Твоя́.

Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy strength: we will sing and praise thy mighty acts.

For the end, concerning the morning aid, a Psalm of David.

Бо́же, Бо́же мо́й, вонми́ ми, вску́ю оста́вилъ мя́ єси́? Дале́че от спасе́нія моєго́ словеса́ грѣхопаде́ній мои́хъ.

O God, my God, attend to me: why hast thou forsaken me? the account of my transgressions is far from my salvation.

Бо́же мо́й, воззову́ во дни́, и не услы́шиши, и въ нощи́, и не въ безу́міє мнѣ́.

O my God, I will cry to thee by day, but thou wilt not hear: and by night, and it shall not be accounted for folly to me.

Ты́ же во Святѣ́мъ живе́ши, хвало́ Ізра́илева.

But thou, the praise of Israel, dwellest in a sanctuary.

На Тя́ упова́ша отцы́ на́ши: упова́ша, и изба́вилъ єси́ я́:

Our fathers hoped in thee; they hoped, and thou didst deliver them.

къ Тебѣ́ воззва́ша, и спасо́шася: на Тя́ упова́ша, и не постыдѣ́шася.

They cried to thee, and were saved: they hoped in thee, and were not ashamed.

А́зъ же є́смь че́рвь, а не человѣ́къ, поноше́ніє человѣ́ковъ и уничиже́ніє люді́й.

But I am a worm, and not a man; a reproach of men, and scorn of the people.

Вси́ ви́дящіи мя́ поруга́шамися, глаго́лаша устна́ми, покива́ша главо́ю:

All that saw me mocked me: they spoke with their lips, they shook the head, saying,

упова́ на Го́спода, да изба́витъ єго́, да спасе́тъ єго́, я́ко хо́щетъ єго́.

He hoped in the Lord: let him deliver him, let him save him, because he takes pleasure in him.

Я́ко Ты́ єси́ исто́ргій мя́ изъ чре́ва, упова́ніє моє́ от сосцу́ ма́тере моєя́.

For thou art he that drew me out of the womb; my hope from my mother's breasts.

Къ Тебѣ́ приве́рженъ є́смь от ложе́снъ, от чре́ва ма́тере моєя́ Бо́гъ мо́й єси́ Ты́.

I was cast on thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Да не отсту́пиши от мене́, я́ко ско́рбь бли́зъ, я́ко нѣ́сть помога́яй ми́.

Stand not aloof from me; for affliction is near; for there is no helper.

Обыдо́ша мя́ телцы́ мно́зи, юнцы́ ту́чніи одержа́ша мя́:

Many bullocks have compassed me: fat bulls have beset me round.

отверзо́ша на мя́ уста́ своя́, я́ко ле́въ восхища́яй и рыка́яй.

They have opened their mouth against me, as a ravening and roaring lion.

Я́ко вода́ излія́хся, и разсы́пашася вся́ ко́сти моя́: бы́сть се́рдце моє́ я́ко во́скъ та́яй посредѣ́ чре́ва моєго́.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are loosened: my heart in the midst of my belly is become like melting wax.

И́зсше я́ко скуде́ль крѣ́пость моя́, и язы́къ мо́й прильпе́ горта́ни моєму́, и въ пе́рсть сме́рти све́лъ мя́ єси́.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue is glued to my throat; and thou hast brought me down to the dust of death.

Я́ко обыдо́ша мя́ пси́ мно́зи, со́нмъ лука́выхъ одержа́ша мя́: ископа́ша ру́цѣ мои́ и но́зѣ мои́.

For many dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked doers has beset me round: they pierced my hands and my feet.

Исчето́ша вся́ ко́сти моя́: ті́и же смотри́ша и презрѣ́ша мя́.

They counted all my bones; and they observed and looked upon me.

Раздѣли́ша ри́зы моя́ себѣ́, и о оде́жди моє́й мета́ша жре́бій.

They parted my garments among themselves, and cast lots upon my raiment.

Ты́ же, Го́споди, не удали́ по́мощь Твою́ от мене́: на заступле́ніє моє́ вонми́.

But thou, O Lord, remove not my help afar off: be ready for mine aid.

Изба́ви от ору́жія ду́шу мою́, и изъ руки́ пе́сіи єдиноро́дную мою́.

Deliver my soul from the sword; my only-begotten one from the power of the dog.

Спаси́ мя от у́стъ льво́выхъ, и от ро́гъ єдиноро́жь смире́ніє моє́.

Save me from the lion's mouth; and regard my lowliness from the horns of the unicorns.

Повѣ́мъ и́мя Твоє́ бра́тіи моє́й, посредѣ́ це́ркве воспою́ Тя́.

I will declare thy name to my brethren: in the midst of the church will I sing praise to thee.

Боя́щіися Го́спода, восхвали́те Єго́, все́ сѣ́мя Іа́ковле, просла́вите Єго́, да убои́тся же от Него́ все́ сѣ́мя Ізра́илево:

Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye seed of Jacob, glorify him: let all the seed of Israel fear him.

я́ко не уничижи́, ниже́ негодова́ моли́твы ни́щаго, ниже́ отврати́ лице́ Своє́ от мене́, и єгда́ воззва́хъ къ Нему́, услы́ша мя́.

For he has not despised nor been angry at the supplication of the poor; nor turned away his face from me; but when I cried to him, he heard me.

От Тебе́ похвала́ моя́, въ це́ркви вели́цѣй исповѣ́мся Тебѣ́: моли́твы моя́ возда́мъ предъ боя́щимися Єго́.

My praise is of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

Ядя́тъ убо́зіи, и насы́тятся, и восхва́лятъ Го́спода взыска́ющіи Єго́: жива́ бу́дутъ сердца́ и́хъ въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка.

The poor shall eat and be satisfied; and they shall praise the Lord that seek him: their heart shall live for ever.

Помяну́тся и обратя́тся ко Го́споду вси́ концы́ земли́, и покло́нятся предъ Ни́мъ вся́ оте́чествія язы́къ:

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before him.

я́ко Госпо́дне є́сть ца́рствіє, и То́й облада́єтъ язы́ки.

For the kingdom is the Lord's; and he is the governor of the nations.

Ядо́ша и поклони́шася вси́ ту́чніи земли́: предъ Ни́мъ припаду́тъ вси́ низходя́щіи въ зе́млю: и душа́ моя́ Тому́ живе́тъ.

All the fat ones of the earth have eaten and worshipped: all that go down to the earth shall fall down before him: my soul also lives to him.

И сѣ́мя моє́ порабо́таєтъ Єму́: возвѣсти́тъ Го́сподеви ро́дъ гряду́щій:

And my seed shall serve him: the generation that is coming shall be reported to the Lord.

и возвѣстя́тъ пра́вду Єго́ лю́демъ ро́ждшымся {роди́тися иму́щымъ}, я́же сотвори́ Госпо́дь.

And they shall report his righteousness to the people that shall be born, whom the Lord has made.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду.

A Psalm of David. The Lord tends me as a shepherd, and I shall want nothing.

Госпо́дь пасе́тъ мя́, и ничто́же мя́ лиши́тъ.

In a place of green grass, there he has made me dwell: he has nourished me by the water of rest.

На мѣ́сте зла́чнѣ, та́мо всели́ мя, на водѣ́ поко́йнѣ воспита́ мя.

He has restored my soul: he has guided me into the paths of righteousness, for his name's sake.

Ду́шу мою́ обрати́, наста́ви мя́ на стези́ пра́вды, и́мене ра́ди Своєго́.

Yea, even if I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will not be afraid of evils: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, these have comforted me.

А́ще бо и пойду́ посредѣ́ сѣ́ни сме́ртныя, не убою́ся зла́, я́ко Ты́ со мно́ю єси́: же́злъ Тво́й и па́лица Твоя́, та́ мя́ утѣ́шиста.

Thy mercy also shall follow me all the days of my life: and my dwelling shall be in the house of the Lord for a very long time.

A Psalm for David on the first day of the week. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof; the world, and all that dwell in it.

Госпо́дня земля́, и исполне́ніє єя́, вселе́нная и вси́ живу́щіи на не́й.

He has founded it upon the seas, and prepared it upon the rivers.

То́й на моря́хъ основа́лъ ю́ є́сть и на рѣка́хъ угото́валъ ю́ є́сть.

Who shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, and who shall stand in his holy place?

Кто́ взы́детъ на го́ру Госпо́дню? Или́ кто́ ста́нетъ на мѣ́стѣ святѣ́мъ Єго́?

He that is innocent in his hands and pure in his heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.

Непови́ненъ рука́ма и чи́стъ се́рдцемъ, и́же не прія́тъ всу́є ду́шу свою́ и не кля́тся ле́стію и́скреннему своєму́:

He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.

се́й пріи́метъ благослове́ніє от Го́спода и ми́лостыню от Бо́га Спа́са своєго́.

This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek the face of the God of Jacob. Pause.

Се́й ро́дъ и́щущихъ Го́спода, и́щущихъ лице́ Бо́га Іа́ковля.

Lift up your gates, ye princes, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

Возми́те врата́ кня́зи ва́ша, и возми́теся врата́ вѣ́чная: и вни́детъ Ца́рь сла́вы.

Who is this king of glory? the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Кто́ єсть се́й Ца́рь сла́вы? Госпо́дь крѣ́покъ и си́ленъ, Госпо́дь си́ленъ въ бра́ни.

Lift up your gates, ye princes; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

Возми́те врата́ кня́зи ва́ша, и возми́теся врата́ вѣ́чная: и вни́детъ Ца́рь сла́вы.

Who is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is this king of glory.

A Psalm of David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.

Къ Тебѣ́, Го́споди, воздвиго́хъ ду́шу мою́, Бо́же мо́й, на Тя́ упова́хъ, да не постыжу́ся во вѣ́къ, ниже́ да посмѣю́тмися врази́ мои́:

O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies laugh me to scorn.

и́бо вси́ терпя́щіи Тя́ не постыдя́тся.

For none of them that wait on thee shall in any wise be ashamed: let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.

Да постыдя́тся беззако́ннующіи вотще́.

Shew me thy ways, O Lord; and teach me thy paths.

Пути́ Твоя́, Го́споди, скажи́ ми и стезя́мъ Твои́мъ научи́ мя.

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art God my Saviour: and I have waited on thee all the day.

Наста́ви мя́ на и́стину Твою́ и научи́ мя: я́ко Ты́ єси́ Бо́гъ Спа́съ мо́й, и Тебе́ терпѣ́хъ ве́сь де́нь.

Remember thy compassions, O Lord, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting.

Помяни́ щедро́ты Твоя́, Го́споди, и ми́лости Твоя́, я́ко от вѣ́ка су́ть.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my sins of ignorance: remember me according to thy mercy, for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.

Грѣ́хъ ю́ности моєя́ и невѣ́дѣнія моєго́ не помяни́: по ми́лости Твоє́й помяни́ мя Ты́, ра́ди бла́гости Твоєя́, Го́споди.

Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.

Бла́гъ и пра́въ Госпо́дь, сего́ ра́ди законоположи́тъ согрѣша́ющымъ на пути́.

The meek will he guide in judgment: the meek will he teach his ways.

Наста́витъ кро́ткія на су́дъ, научи́тъ кро́ткія путе́мъ Свои́мъ.

All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to them that seek his covenant and his testimonies.

Вси́ путіє́ Госпо́дни ми́лость и и́стина, взыска́ющымъ завѣ́та Єго́ и свидѣ́нія Єго́.

For thy name's sake, O Lord, do thou also be merciful to my sin; for it is great.

Ра́ди и́мене Твоєго́, Го́споди, и очи́сти грѣ́хъ мо́й, мно́гъ бо є́сть.

Who is the man that fears the Lord? he shall instruct him in the way which he has chosen.

Кто́ єсть человѣ́къ боя́йся Го́спода? Законоположи́тъ єму́ на пути́, єго́же изво́ли.

His soul shall dwell in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Душа́ єго́ во благи́хъ водвори́тся, и сѣ́мя єго́ наслѣ́дитъ зе́млю.

The Lord is the strength of them that fear him; and his covenant is to manifest truth to them.

Держа́ва Госпо́дь боя́щихся Єго́, и завѣ́тъ Єго́ яви́тъ и́мъ.

Mine eyes are continually to the Lord; for he shall draw my feet out of the snare.

О́чи мои́ вы́ну ко Го́споду, я́ко То́й исто́ргнетъ от сѣ́ти но́зѣ мои́.

Look upon me, and have mercy upon me; for I am an only child and poor.

При́зри на мя́ и поми́луй мя́, я́ко єдиноро́дъ и ни́щ є́смь а́зъ.

The afflictions of my heart have been multiplied; deliver me from my distresses.

Ско́рби се́рдца моєго́ умно́жишася, от ну́ждъ мои́хъ изведи́ мя.

Look upon mine affliction and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.

Ви́ждь смире́ніє моє́ и тру́дъ мо́й, и оста́ви вся́ грѣхи́ моя́.

Look upon mine enemies; for they have been multiplied; and they have hated me with unjust hatred.

Ви́ждь враги́ моя́, я́ко умно́жишася, и ненавидѣ́ніємъ непра́веднымъ возненави́дѣша мя́.

Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I have hoped in thee.

The harmless and upright joined themselves to me: for I waited for thee, O Lord.

A Psalm of David. Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in my innocence: and hoping in the Lord I shall not be moved.

Суди́ ми, Го́споди, я́ко а́зъ незло́бою моє́ю ходи́хъ: и на Го́спода упова́я не изнемогу́.

Prove me, O Lord, and try me; purify as with fire my reins and my heart.

Искуси́ мя, Го́споди, и испыта́й мя́, разжжи́ утро́бы моя́ и се́рдце моє́.

For thy mercy is before mine eyes: and I am well pleased with thy truth.

Я́ко ми́лость Твоя́ предъ очи́ма мои́ма є́сть, и благоугоди́хъ во и́стинѣ Твоє́й.

I have not sat with the council of vanity, and will in nowise enter in with transgressors.

Не сѣдо́хъ съ со́нмомъ су́єтнымъ, и со законопресту́пными не вни́ду.

I have hated the assembly of wicked doers; and will not sit with ungodly men.

Возненави́дѣхъ це́рковь лука́внующихъ, и съ нечести́выми не ся́ду.

I will wash my hands in innocency, and compass thine altar, O Lord:

Умы́ю въ непови́нныхъ ру́цѣ мои́, и обы́ду же́ртвенникъ Тво́й, Го́споди,

to hear the voice of praise, and to declare all thy wonderful works.

є́же услы́шати ми́ гла́съ хвалы́ Твоєя́ и повѣ́дати вся́ чудеса́ Твоя́.

O Lord, I have loved the beauty of thy house, and the place of the tabernacle of thy glory.

Го́споди, возлюби́хъ благолѣ́піє до́му Твоєго́ и мѣ́сто селе́нія сла́вы Твоєя́.

Destroy not my soul together with the ungodly, nor my life with bloody men:

Да не погуби́ши съ нечести́выми ду́шу мою́ и съ му́жи крове́й живо́тъ мо́й,

in whose hands are iniquities, and their right hand is filled with bribes.

и́хже въ руку́ беззако́нія, десни́ца и́хъ испо́лнися мзды́.

But I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy upon me.

А́зъ же незло́бою моє́ю ходи́хъ: изба́ви мя́, Го́споди, и поми́луй мя́.

My foot stands in an even place: in the congregations will I bless thee, O Lord.

Нога́ моя́ ста́ на правотѣ́: въ це́рквахъ благословлю́ Тя, Го́споди.

A Psalm of David, before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my Saviour; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the defender of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Госпо́дь просвѣще́ніє моє́ и спаси́тель мо́й, кого́ убою́ся? Госпо́дь защи́титель живота́ моєго́, от кого́ устрашу́ся?

When evil-doers drew nigh against me to eat up my flesh, my persecutors and mine enemies, they fainted and fell.

Внегда́ приближа́тися на мя́ зло́бующымъ, є́же снѣ́сти пло́ти моя́, оскорбля́ющіи мя́ и врази́ мои́, ті́и изнемого́ша и падо́ша.

Though an army should set itself in array against me, my heart shall not be afraid: though war should rise up against me, in this am I confident.

А́ще ополчи́тся на мя́ по́лкъ, не убои́тся се́рдце моє́: а́ще воста́нетъ на мя́ бра́нь, на Него́ азъ упова́ю.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, this will I earnestly seek: that I should dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, that I should behold the fair beauty of the Lord, and survey his temple.

Єди́но проси́хъ от Го́спода, то́ взыщу́: є́же жи́ти ми́ въ дому́ Госпо́дни вся́ дни́ живота́ моєго́, зрѣ́ти ми́ красоту́ Госпо́дню и посѣща́ти хра́мъ святы́й Єго́.

For in the day of mine afflictions he hid me in his tabernacle: he sheltered me in the secret of his tabernacle; he set me up on a rock.

Я́ко скры́ мя въ селе́ніи Своє́мъ въ де́нь зо́лъ мои́хъ, покры́ мя въ та́йнѣ селе́нія Своєго́, на ка́мень вознесе́ мя.

And now, behold, he has lifted up mine head over mine enemies: I went round and offered in his tabernacle the sacrifice of joy; I will sing, even sing psalms to the Lord.

И ны́нѣ се́, вознесе́ главу́ мою́ на враги́ моя́: обыдо́хъ и пожро́хъ въ селе́ніи Єго́ же́ртву хвале́нія и воскликнове́нія: пою́ и воспою́ Го́сподеви.

Hear, O Lord, my voice which I have uttered aloud: pity me, and hearken to me.

Услы́ши, Го́споди, гла́съ мо́й, и́мже воззва́хъ, поми́луй мя́ и услы́ши мя́.

My heart said to thee, I have diligently sought thy face: thy face, O Lord, I will seek.

Тебѣ́ рече́ се́рдце моє́: Го́спода взыщу́, взыска́ Тебе́ лице́ моє́, лица́ Твоєго́, Го́споди, взыщу́.

Turn not thy face away from me, turn not thou away from thy servant in anger: be thou my helper, forsake me not; and, O God my Saviour, overlook me not.

Не отврати́ лица́ Твоєго́ от мене́ и не уклони́ся гнѣ́вомъ от раба́ Твоєго́: помо́щникъ мо́й бу́ди, не отри́ни мене́ и не оста́ви мене́, Бо́же, Спаси́телю мо́й.

For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord has taken me to himself.

Я́ко оте́цъ мо́й и ма́ти моя́ оста́виста мя́, Госпо́дь же воспрія́тъ мя́.

Teach me, O Lord, in thy way, and guide me in a right path, because of mine enemies.

Законоположи́ ми, Го́споди, въ пути́ Твоє́мъ, и наста́ви мя́ на стезю́ пра́вую вра́гъ мои́хъ ра́ди.

Deliver me not over to the desire of them that afflict me; for unjust witnesses have risen up against me, and injustice has lied within herself.

Не преда́ждь мене́ въ ду́шы стужа́ющихъ ми́: я́ко воста́ша на мя́ свидѣ́теле непра́ведніи, и солга́ непра́вда себѣ́.

I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Вѣ́рую ви́дѣти блага́я Госпо́дня на земли́ живы́хъ.

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and let thy heart be strengthened: yea, wait on the Lord.

Потерпи́ Го́спода, мужа́йся, и да крѣпи́тся се́рдце твоє́, и потерпи́ Го́спода.

A Psalm of David. To thee, O Lord, have I cried; my God, be not silent toward me: lest thou be silent toward me, and so I should be likened to them that go down to the pit.

Къ Тебѣ́, Го́споди, воззову́, Бо́же мо́й: да не премолчи́ши от мене́ {о мнѣ́}: да не когда́ премолчи́ши от мене́ {о мнѣ́}, и уподо́блюся низходя́щымъ въ ро́въ.

Hearken to the voice of my supplication, when I pray to thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy temple.

Услы́ши, Го́споди, гла́съ моле́нія моєго́, внегда́ моли́тимися къ Тебѣ́, внегда́ воздѣ́ти ми́ ру́цѣ мои́ ко хра́му свято́му Твоєму́.

Draw not away my soul with sinners, and destroy me not with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbours, but evils are in their hearts.

Не привлецы́ мене́ со грѣ́шники, и съ дѣ́лающими непра́вду не погуби́ мене́, глаго́лющими ми́ръ съ бли́жними свои́ми, зла́я же въ сердца́хъ свои́хъ.

Give them according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their devices: give them according to the works of their hands; render their recompence unto them.

Да́ждь и́мъ, Го́споди, по дѣло́мъ и́хъ и по лука́вству начина́ній и́хъ, по дѣло́мъ руку́ и́хъ да́ждь и́мъ, возда́ждь воздая́ніє и́хъ и́мъ.

Because they have not attended to the works of the Lord, even to the works of his hands, thou shalt pull them down, and shalt not build them up.

Я́ко не разумѣ́ша въ дѣла́ Госпо́дня и въ дѣла́ руку́ Єго́: разори́ши я́ и не сози́ждеши я́.

Blessed be the Lord, for he has hearkened to the voice of my petition.

Благослове́нъ Госпо́дь, я́ко услы́ша гла́съ моле́нія моєго́.

The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in him, and I am helped: my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to him.

Госпо́дь помо́щникъ мо́й и защи́титель мо́й: на Него́ упова́ се́рдце моє́, и помо́же ми́, и процвѣте́ пло́ть моя́: и во́лею моє́ю исповѣ́мся Єму́.

The Lord is the strength of his people, and the saving defender of his anointed.

Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: and take care of them, and lift them up for ever.

A Psalm of David on the occasion of the solemn assembly of the Tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, ye sons of God, bring to the Lord young rams; bring to the Lord glory and honour.

Принеси́те Го́сподеви, сы́нове Бо́жіи, принеси́те Го́сподеви сы́ны о́вни, принеси́те Го́сподеви сла́ву и че́сть:

Bring to the Lord glory, due to his name; worship the Lord in his holy court.

принеси́те Го́сподеви сла́ву и́мени Єго́: поклони́теся Го́сподеви во дворѣ́ святѣ́мъ Єго́.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory has thundered: the Lord is upon many waters.

Гла́съ Госпо́день на вода́хъ, Бо́гъ сла́вы возгремѣ́, Госпо́дь на вода́хъ мно́гихъ.

The voice of the Lord is mighty; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

Гла́съ Госпо́день въ крѣ́пости, гла́съ Госпо́день въ великолѣ́піи.

There is the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars; the Lord will break the cedars of Libanus.

Гла́съ Го́спода, сокруша́ющаго ке́дры: и стры́єтъ Госпо́дь ке́дры Ліва́нскія,

And he will beat them small, even Libanus itself, like a calf; and the beloved one is as a young unicorn.

и истни́тъ я́ я́ко телца́ Ліва́нска: и возлю́бленный я́ко сы́нъ єдиноро́жь.

There is a voice of the Lord who divides a flame of fire.

Гла́съ Го́спода, пресѣца́ющаго пла́мень огня́.

A voice of the Lord who shakes the wilderness; the Lord will shake the wilderness of Cades.

Гла́съ Го́спода, стряса́ющаго пусты́ню: и стрясе́тъ Госпо́дь пусты́ню Кадді́йскую.

The voice of the Lord strengthens the hinds, and will uncover the thickets: and in his temple every one speaks of his glory.

Гла́съ Госпо́день, сверша́ющій єле́ни, и откры́єтъ дубра́вы: и въ хра́мѣ Єго́ вся́кій глаго́летъ сла́ву.

The Lord will dwell on the waterflood: and the Lord will sit a king for ever.

Госпо́дь пото́пъ населя́єтъ, и ся́детъ Госпо́дь Ца́рь въ вѣ́къ.

The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Госпо́дь крѣ́пость лю́демъ Свои́мъ да́стъ, Госпо́дь благослови́тъ лю́ди Своя́ ми́ромъ.

Вознесу́ Тя, Го́споди, я́ко подъя́лъ мя́ єси́, и не возвесели́лъ єси́ враго́въ мои́хъ о мнѣ́.

I will exalt thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and not caused mine enemies to rejoice over me.

Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, воззва́хъ къ Тебѣ́, и изцѣли́лъ мя́ єси́.

O Lord my God, I cried to thee, and thou didst heal me.

Го́споди, возве́лъ єси́ от а́да ду́шу мою́, спа́слъ мя́ єси́ от низходя́щихъ въ ро́въ.

O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from Hades, thou hast delivered me from among them that go down to the pit.

По́йте Го́сподеви, преподо́бніи Єго́, и исповѣ́дайте па́мять святы́ни Єго́:

Sing to the Lord, ye his saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.

я́ко гнѣ́въ въ я́рости Єго́, и живо́тъ въ во́ли Єго́: ве́черъ водвори́тся пла́чь, и зау́тра ра́дость.

For anger is in his wrath, but life in his favour: weeping shall tarry for the evening, but joy shall be in the morning.

А́зъ же рѣ́хъ во оби́ліи моє́мъ: не подви́жуся во вѣ́къ.

And I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.

Го́споди, во́лею Твоє́ю пода́ждь добро́тѣ моє́й си́лу: отврати́лъ же єси́ лице́ Твоє́, и бы́хъ смуще́нъ.

O Lord, in thy good pleasure thou didst add strength to my beauty: but thou didst turn away thy face, and I was troubled.

Къ Тебѣ́, Го́споди, воззову́, и къ Бо́гу моєму́ помолю́ся.

To thee, O Lord, will I cry; and to my God will I make supplication.

Ка́я по́льза въ кро́ви моє́й, внегда́ сходи́ти ми́ во истлѣ́ніє? Єда́ исповѣ́стся Тебѣ́ пе́рсть? Или́ возвѣсти́тъ и́стину Твою́?

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to destruction? Shall the dust give praise to thee? or shall it declare thy truth?

Слы́ша Госпо́дь и поми́лова мя́: Госпо́дь бы́сть помо́щникъ мо́й.

The Lord heard, and had compassion upon me; the Lord is become my helper.

Обрати́лъ єси́ пла́чь мо́й въ ра́дость мнѣ́, растерза́лъ єси́ вре́тище моє́ и препоя́салъ мя́ єси́ весе́ліємъ,

Thou hast turned my mourning into joy for me: thou hast rent off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

я́ко да воспоє́тъ Тебѣ́ сла́ва моя́, и не умилю́ся. Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, во вѣ́къ исповѣ́мся Тебѣ́.

that my glory may sing praise to thee, and I may not be pierced with sorrow. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.

На Тя́, Го́споди, упова́хъ, да не постыжу́ся во вѣ́къ: пра́вдою Твоє́ю изба́ви мя́ и изми́ мя.

O Lord, I have hoped in thee; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness and rescue me.

Приклони́ ко мнѣ́ у́хо Твоє́, ускори́ изъя́ти мя́: бу́ди ми́ въ Бо́га защи́тителя и въ до́мъ прибѣ́жища, є́же спасти́ мя.

Incline thine ear to me; make haste to rescue me: be thou to me for a protecting God, and for a house of refuge to save me.

Я́ко держа́ва моя́ и прибѣ́жище моє́ єси́ Ты́: и и́мене Твоєго́ ра́ди наста́виши мя́ и препита́єши мя́.

For thou art my strength and my refuge; and thou shalt guide me for thy name's sake, and maintain me.

Thou shalt bring me out of the snare which they have hidden for me; for thou, O Lord, art my defender.

Въ ру́цѣ Твои́ предложу́ ду́хъ мо́й: изба́вилъ мя́ єси́, Го́споди Бо́же и́стины.

Into thine hands I will commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

Возненави́дѣлъ єси́ храня́щыя суєты́ вотще́: а́зъ же на Го́спода упова́хъ.

Thou hast hated them that idly persist in vanities: but I have hoped in the Lord.

Возра́дуюся и возвеселю́ся о ми́лости Твоє́й, я́ко призрѣ́лъ єси́ на смире́ніє моє́, спа́слъ єси́ от ну́ждъ ду́шу мою́

I will exult and be glad in thy mercy: for thou hast looked upon mine affliction; thou hast saved my soul from distresses.

и нѣ́си мене́ затвори́лъ въ рука́хъ вра́жіихъ, поста́вилъ єси́ на простра́ннѣ но́зѣ мои́.

And thou hast not shut me up into the hands of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a wide place.

Поми́луй мя́, Го́споди, я́ко скорблю́: смяте́ся я́ростію о́ко моє́, душа́ моя́ и утро́ба моя́.

Pity me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with indignation, my soul and my belly.

Я́ко изчезе́ въ болѣ́зни живо́тъ мо́й, и лѣ́та моя́ въ воздыха́ніихъ: изнемо́же нището́ю крѣ́пость моя́, и ко́сти моя́ смято́шася.

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with groanings: my strength has been weakened through poverty, and my bones are troubled.

От всѣ́хъ вра́гъ мои́хъ бы́хъ поноше́ніє, и сосѣ́домъ мои́мъ зѣло́, и стра́хъ зна́ємымъ мои́мъ: ви́дящіи мя́ во́нъ бѣжа́ша от мене́.

I became a reproach among all mine enemies, but exceedingly so to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that saw me without fled from me.

Забве́нъ бы́хъ я́ко ме́ртвъ от се́рдца: бы́хъ я́ко сосу́дъ погубле́нъ.

I have been forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am become as a broken vessel.

Я́ко слы́шахъ гажде́ніє {укоре́ніє} мно́гихъ живу́щихъ о́крестъ: внегда́ собра́тися и́мъ вку́пѣ на мя́, прія́ти ду́шу мою́ совѣща́ша.

For I heard the slander of many that dwelt round about: when they were gathered together against me, they took counsel to take my life.

А́зъ же на Тя́, Го́споди, упова́хъ, рѣ́хъ: Ты́ єси́ Бо́гъ мо́й.

But I hoped in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.

Въ руку́ Твоє́ю жре́біи мои́: изба́ви мя́ изъ руки́ вра́гъ мои́хъ и от гоня́щихъ мя́.

My lots are in thy hands: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,

Просвѣти́ лице́ Твоє́ на раба́ Твоєго́: спаси́ мя ми́лостію Твоє́ю.

and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me in thy mercy.

Го́споди, да не постыжу́ся, я́ко призва́хъ Тя́: да постыдя́тся нечести́віи, и сни́дутъ во а́дъ.

O Lord, let me not be ashamed, for I have called upon thee: let the ungodly be ashamed, and brought down to Hades.

Нѣ́мы да бу́дутъ устны́ льсти́выя, глаго́лющыя на пра́веднаго беззако́ніє, горды́нею и уничиже́ніємъ.

Let the deceitful lips become dumb, which speak iniquity against the righteous with pride and scorn.

Ко́ль мно́гоє мно́жество бла́гости Твоєя́, Го́споди, ю́же скры́лъ єси́ боя́щымся Тебе́, содѣ́лалъ єси́ упова́ющымъ на Тя́, предъ сы́ны человѣ́ческими:

How abundant is the multitude of thy goodness, O Lord, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee! thou hast wrought it out for them that hope on thee, in the presence of the sons of men.

скры́єши и́хъ въ та́йнѣ лица́ Твоєго́ от мяте́жа человѣ́ческа, покры́єши и́хъ въ кро́вѣ от прерѣка́нія язы́къ.

Thou wilt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the vexation of man: thou wilt screen them in a tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues.

Благослове́нъ Госпо́дь, я́ко удиви́ ми́лость Свою́ во гра́дѣ огражде́нія.

Blessed be the Lord: for he has magnified his mercy in a fortified city.

А́зъ же рѣ́хъ во изступле́ніи моє́мъ: отве́рженъ є́смь от лица́ о́чію Твоє́ю: сего́ ра́ди услы́шалъ єси́ гла́съ моли́твы моєя́, внегда́ воззва́хъ къ Тебѣ́.

But I said in my extreme fear, I am cast out from the sight of thine eyes: therefore thou didst hearken, O Lord, to the voice of my supplication when I cried to thee.

Возлюби́те Го́спода, вси́ преподо́бніи Єго́: я́ко и́стины взыска́єтъ Госпо́дь и воздає́тъ изли́ше творя́щымъ горды́ню.

Love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord seeks for truth, and renders a reward to them that deal very proudly.

Мужа́йтеся, и да крѣпи́тся се́рдце ва́ше, вси́ упова́ющіи на Го́спода.

Be of good courage, and let your heart be strengthened, all ye that hope in the Lord.

A Psalm of instruction by David. Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Блаже́ни, и́хже оста́вишася беззако́нія, и и́хже прикры́шася грѣси́.

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin, and in whose mouth there is no guile.

Блаже́нъ му́жъ, єму́же не вмѣни́тъ Госпо́дь грѣха́, ниже́ є́сть во устѣ́хъ єго́ ле́сть.

Because I kept silence, my bones waxed old, from my crying all the day.

Я́ко умолча́хъ, обетша́ша ко́сти моя́, от є́же зва́ти ми́ ве́сь де́нь,

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: I became thoroughly miserable while a thorn was fastened in me. Pause.

я́ко де́нь и но́щь отяготѣ́ на мнѣ́ рука́ Твоя́: возврати́хся на стра́сть, єгда́ унзе́ ми те́рнъ.

I acknowledged my sin, and hid not mine iniquity: I said, I will confess mine iniquity to the Lord against myself; and thou forgavest the ungodliness of my heart. Pause.

Беззако́ніє моє́ позна́хъ и грѣха́ моєго́ не покры́хъ, рѣ́хъ: исповѣ́мъ на мя́ беззако́ніє моє́ Го́сподеви: и Ты́ оста́вилъ єси́ нече́стіє се́рдца моєго́.

Therefore shall every holy one pray to thee in a fit time: only in the deluge of many waters they shall not come nigh to him.

За то́ помо́лится къ Тебѣ́ вся́къ преподо́бный во вре́мя благопотре́бно: оба́че въ пото́пѣ во́дъ мно́гихъ къ нему́ не прибли́жатся.

Thou art my refuge from the affliction that encompasses me; my joy, to deliver me from them that have compassed me. Pause.

Ты́ єси́ прибѣ́жище моє́ от ско́рби обдержа́щія мя́: ра́досте моя́, изба́ви мя́ от обыше́дшихъ мя́.

I will instruct thee and guide thee in this way wherein thou shalt go: I will fix mine eyes upon thee.

Вразумлю́ тя, и наста́влю тя́ на пу́ть се́й, въ о́ньже по́йдеши: утвержу́ на тя́ о́чи Мои́.

Be ye not as horse and mule, which have no understanding: but thou must constrain their jaws with bit and curb, lest they should come nigh to thee.

Не бу́дите я́ко ко́нь и ме́скъ, и́мже нѣ́сть ра́зума: брозда́ми и уздо́ю че́люсти и́хъ востя́гнеши, не приближа́ющихся къ тебѣ́.

Many are the scourges of the sinner: but him that hopes in the Lord mercy shall compass about.

Мно́ги ра́ны грѣ́шному: упова́ющаго же на Го́спода ми́лость обы́детъ.

Be glad in the Lord, and exult, ye righteous: and glory, all ye that are upright in heart.

Весели́теся о Го́сподѣ и ра́дуйтеся пра́ведніи, и хвали́теся, вси́ пра́віи се́рдцемъ.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду, не надпи́санъ у Євре́й.

A Psalm of David. Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; praise becomes the upright.

Ра́дуйтеся, пра́ведніи, о Го́сподѣ: пра́вымъ подоба́єтъ похвала́.

Praise the Lord on the harp; play to him on a psaltery of ten strings.

Исповѣ́дайтеся Го́сподеви въ гу́слехъ, во псалти́ри десятостру́ннѣмъ по́йте Єму́:

Sing to him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

воспо́йте Єму́ пѣ́снь но́ву, до́брѣ по́йте Єму́ со восклица́ніємъ:

For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are faithful.

я́ко пра́во сло́во Госпо́дне, и вся́ дѣла́ Єго́ въ вѣ́рѣ.

He loves mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

Лю́битъ ми́лостыню и су́дъ Госпо́дь, ми́лости Госпо́дни испо́лнь земля́.

By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Сло́вомъ Госпо́днимъ небеса́ утверди́шася, и ду́хомъ у́стъ Єго́ вся́ си́ла и́хъ:

Who gathers the waters of the sea as in a bottle; who lays up the deeps in treasuries.

собира́яй я́ко мѣ́хъ во́ды морскі́я, полага́яй въ сокро́вищихъ бе́здны.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; and let all that dwell in the world be moved because of him.

Да убои́тся Го́спода вся́ земля́, от Него́же да подви́жутся вси́ живу́щіи по вселе́ннѣй:

For he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created.

я́ко То́й рече́, и бы́ша: То́й повелѣ́, и созда́шася.

The Lord frustrates the counsels of the nations; he brings to nought also the reasonings of the peoples, and brings to nought the counsels of princes.

Госпо́дь разоря́єтъ совѣ́ты язы́ковъ, отмета́єтъ же мы́сли люді́й и отмета́єтъ совѣ́ты князе́й.

But the counsel of the Lord endures for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.

Совѣ́тъ же Госпо́день во вѣ́къ пребыва́єтъ, помышле́нія се́рдца Єго́ въ ро́дъ и ро́дъ.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

Блаже́нъ язы́къ, єму́же є́сть Госпо́дь Бо́гъ Єго́, лю́діє, я́же избра́ въ наслѣ́діє Себѣ́.

The Lord looks out of heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.

Съ небесе́ призрѣ́ Госпо́дь, ви́дѣ вся́ сы́ны человѣ́ческія:

He looks from his prepared habitation on all the dwellers on the earth;

от гото́ваго жили́ща Своєго́ призрѣ́ на вся́ живу́щыя на земли́:

who fashioned their hearts alone; who understands all their works.

созда́вый на єди́нѣ сердца́ и́хъ, разумѣва́яй на вся́ дѣла́ и́хъ.

A king is not saved by reason of a great host; and a giant shall not be delivered by the greatness of his strength.

Не спаса́єтся ца́рь мно́гою си́лою, и исполи́нъ не спасе́тся мно́жествомъ крѣ́пости своєя́.

A horse is vain for safety; neither shall he be delivered by the greatness of his power.

Ло́жь ко́нь во спасе́ніє, во мно́жествѣ же си́лы своєя́ не спасе́тся.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him, those that hope in his mercy;

Се́, о́чи Госпо́дни на боя́щыяся Єго́, упова́ющыя на ми́лость Єго́:

to deliver their souls from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

изба́вити от сме́рти ду́шы и́хъ, и препита́ти я́ въ гла́дъ.

Our soul waits on the Lord; for he is our helper and defender.

Душа́ же на́ша ча́єтъ Го́спода, я́ко помо́щникъ и защи́титель на́шъ є́сть:

For our heart shall rejoice in him, and we have hoped in his holy name.

я́ко о Не́мъ возвесели́тся се́рдце на́ше, и во и́мя свято́є Єго́ упова́хомъ.

Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.

Бу́ди, Го́споди, ми́лость Твоя́ на на́съ, я́коже упова́хомъ на Тя́.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду, внегда́ измѣни́ лице́ своє́ предъ Авімеле́хомъ: и отпусти́ єго́, и отъи́де.

A Psalm of David, when he changed his countenance before Abimelech; and he let him go, and he departed.

Благословлю́ Го́спода на вся́коє вре́мя, вы́ну хвала́ Єго́ во устѣ́хъ мои́хъ.

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall be continually in my mouth.

О Го́сподѣ похва́лится душа́ моя́: да услы́шатъ кро́тцыи и возвеселя́тся.

My soul shall boast herself in the Lord: let the meek hear, and rejoice.

Возвели́чите Го́спода со мно́ю, и вознесе́мъ и́мя Єго́ вку́пѣ.

Magnify ye the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Взыска́хъ Го́спода, и услы́ша мя́ и от всѣ́хъ скорбе́й мои́хъ изба́ви мя́.

I sought the Lord diligently, and he hearkened to me, and delivered me from all my sojournings.

Приступи́те къ Нему́ и просвѣти́теся, и ли́ца ва́ша не постыдя́тся.

Draw near to him, and be enlightened: and your faces shall not by any means be ashamed.

Се́й ни́щій воззва́, и Госпо́дь услы́ша и́, и от всѣ́хъ скорбе́й єго́ спасе́ и́.

This poor man cried, and the Lord hearkened to him, and delivered him out of all his afflictions.

Ополчи́тся А́нгелъ Госпо́день о́крестъ боя́щихся Єго́ и изба́витъ и́хъ.

The angel of the Lord will encamp round about them that fear him, and will deliver them.

Вкуси́те и ви́дите, я́ко бла́гъ Госпо́дь: блаже́нъ му́жъ, и́же упова́єтъ На́нь.

Taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man who hopes in him.

Бо́йтеся Го́спода, вси́ святі́и Єго́, я́ко нѣ́сть лише́нія боя́щымся Єго́.

Fear the Lord, all ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Бога́тіи обнища́ша и взалка́ша: взыска́ющіи же Го́спода не лиша́тся вся́каго бла́га.

The rich have become poor and hungry: but they that seek the Lord diligently shall not want any good thing. Pause.

Пріиди́те, ча́да, послу́шайте мене́, стра́ху Госпо́дню научу́ ва́съ.

Come, ye children, hear me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Кто́ єсть человѣ́къ хотя́й живо́тъ, любя́й дни́ ви́дѣти бла́ги?

What man is there that desires life, loving to see good days?

Удержи́ язы́къ тво́й от зла́ и устнѣ́ твои́, є́же не глаго́лати льсти́.

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Уклони́ся от зла́ и сотвори́ бла́го: взыщи́ ми́ра и пожени́ и́.

Turn away from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

О́чи Госпо́дни на пра́ведныя, и у́ши Єго́ въ моли́тву и́хъ.

The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer:

Лице́ же Госпо́дне на творя́щыя зла́я, є́же потреби́ти от земли́ па́мять и́хъ.

but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to destroy their memorial from the earth. The righteous cried, and the Lord hearkened to them,

Воззва́ша пра́ведніи, и Госпо́дь услы́ша и́хъ и от всѣ́хъ скорбе́й и́хъ изба́ви и́хъ.

and delivered them out of all their afflictions.

Бли́зъ Госпо́дь сокруше́нныхъ се́рдцемъ, и смире́нныя ду́хомъ спасе́тъ.

The Lord is near to them that are of a contrite heart; and will save the lowly in spirit.

Мно́ги ско́рби пра́веднымъ, и от всѣ́хъ и́хъ изба́витъ я́ Госпо́дь.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but out of them all the Lord will deliver them.

Храни́тъ Госпо́дь вся́ ко́сти и́хъ, ни єди́на от ни́хъ сокруши́тся.

He keeps all their bones: not one of them shall be broken.

Сме́рть грѣ́шниковъ люта́, и ненави́дящіи пра́веднаго прегрѣша́тъ.

The death of sinners is evil: and they that hate righteousness will go wrong.

Изба́витъ Госпо́дь ду́шы ра́бъ Свои́хъ, и не прегрѣша́тъ вси́ упова́ющіи на Него́.

The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants: and none of those that hope in him shall go wrong.

A Psalm of David. Judge thou, O Lord, them that injure me, fight against them that fight against me.

Суди́, Го́споди, оби́дящыя мя́, побори́ борю́щыя мя́.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and arise for my help.

Пріими́ ору́жіє и щи́тъ и воста́ни въ по́мощь мою́:

Bring forth a sword, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I am thy salvation.

изсу́ни ме́чь и заключи́ сопроти́въ гоня́щихъ мя́: рцы́ души́ моє́й: спасе́ніє твоє́ є́смь А́зъ.

Let them that seek my soul be ashamed and confounded: let them that devise evils against me be turned back and put to shame.

Да постыдя́тся и посра́мятся и́щущіи ду́шу мою́, да возвратя́тся вспя́ть и постыдя́тся мы́слящіи ми́ зла́я.

Let them be as dust before the wind, and an angel of the Lord afflicting them.

Да бу́дутъ я́ко пра́хъ предъ лице́мъ вѣ́тра, и А́нгелъ Госпо́день оскорбля́я и́хъ:

Let their way be dark and slippery, and an angel of the Lord persecuting them.

да бу́детъ пу́ть и́хъ тма́ и по́лзокъ, и А́нгелъ Госпо́день погоня́яй и́хъ:

For without cause they have hid for me their destructive snare: without a cause they have reproached my soul.

я́ко ту́не скры́ша ми́ па́губу сѣ́ти своєя́, всу́є поноси́ша души́ моє́й.

Let a snare which they know not come upon them: and the gin which they hid take them; and let them fall into the very same snare.

Да пріи́детъ єму́ сѣ́ть, ю́же не вѣ́сть, и лови́тва, ю́же скры́, да обы́метъ и́, и въ сѣ́ть да впаде́тъ въ ню́.

But my soul shall exult in the Lord: it shall delight in his salvation.

Душа́ же моя́ возра́дуєтся о Го́сподѣ, возвесели́тся о спасе́ніи Єго́.

All my bones shall say, O Lord, who is like to thee? delivering the poor out of the hand of them that are stronger than he, yea, the poor and needy one from them that spoil him.

Вся́ ко́сти моя́ реку́тъ: Го́споди, Го́споди, кто́ подо́бенъ Тебѣ́? Избавля́яй ни́ща изъ руки́ крѣ́пльшихъ єго́, и ни́ща, и убо́га от расхища́ющихъ єго́.

Unjust witnesses arose, and asked me of things I knew not.

Воста́вше на мя́ свидѣ́теле непра́ведніи, я́же не вѣ́дяхъ, вопроша́ху мя́.

They rewarded me evil for good, and bereavement to my soul.

Возда́ша ми́ лука́вая возъ блага́я, и безча́діє души́ моє́й.

But I, when they troubled me, put on sackcloth, and humbled my soul with fasting: and my prayer shall return to my own bosom.

А́зъ же, внегда́ они́ стужа́ху ми́, облача́хся во вре́тище и смиря́хъ посто́мъ ду́шу мою́, и моли́тва моя́ въ нѣ́дро моє́ возврати́тся.

I behaved agreeably towards them as if it had been our neighbour or brother: I humbled myself as one mourning and sad of countenance.

Я́ко бли́жнему, я́ко бра́ту на́шему, та́ко угожда́хъ: я́ко пла́чя и сѣ́туя, та́ко смиря́хся.

Yet they rejoiced against me, and plagues were plentifully brought against me, and I knew it not: they were scattered, but repented not.

И на мя́ возвесели́шася и собра́шася: собра́шася на мя́ ра́ны, и не позна́хъ: раздѣли́шася, и не умили́шася.

They tempted me, they sneered at me most contemptuously, they gnashed their teeth upon me.

Искуси́ша мя́, подражни́ша мя́ подражне́ніємъ, поскрежета́ша на мя́ зубы́ свои́ми.

O Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? Deliver my soul from their mischief, mine only-begotten one from the lions.

Го́споди, когда́ у́зриши? Устро́й ду́шу мою́ от злодѣ́йства и́хъ, от ле́въ єдиноро́дную мою́.

I will give thanks to thee even in a great congregation: in an abundant people I will praise thee.

Исповѣ́мся Тебѣ́ въ це́ркви мно́зѣ, въ лю́дехъ тя́жцѣхъ восхвалю́ Тя.

Let not them that are mine enemies without a cause rejoice against me; who hate me for nothing, and wink with their eyes.

Да не возра́дуются о мнѣ́ вражду́ющіи ми́ непра́ведно, ненави́дящіи мя́ ту́не и помиза́ющіи очи́ма:

For to me they spoke peaceably, but imagined deceits in their anger.

я́ко мнѣ́ у́бо ми́рная глаго́лаху, и на гнѣ́въ ле́сти помышля́ху.

And they opened wide their mouth upon me; they said, Aha, aha, our eyes have seen it.

Разшири́ша на мя́ уста́ своя́, рѣ́ша: бла́гоже, бла́гоже, ви́дѣша о́чи на́ши.

Thou hast seen it, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, withdraw not thyself from me.

Ви́дѣлъ єси́, Го́споди, да не премолчи́ши: Го́споди, не отступи́ от мене́.

Awake, O Lord, and attend to my judgment, even to my cause, my God and my Lord.

Воста́ни, Го́споди, и вонми́ суду́ моєму́, Бо́же мо́й и Го́споди мо́й, на прю́ мою́.

Judge me, O Lord, according to thy righteousness, O Lord my God; and let them not rejoice against me.

Суди́ ми, Го́споди, по пра́вдѣ Твоє́й, Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, и да не возра́дуются о мнѣ́.

Let them not say in their hearts, Aha, aha, it is pleasing to our soul: neither let them say, We have devoured him.

Да не реку́тъ въ сердца́хъ свои́хъ: бла́гоже, бла́гоже души́ на́шей: ниже́ да реку́тъ: пожро́хомъ єго́.

Let them be confounded and ashamed together that rejoice at my afflictions: let them be clothed with shame and confusion that speak great swelling words against me.

Да постыдя́тся и посра́мятся вку́пѣ ра́дующіися зло́мъ мои́мъ: да облеку́тся въ сту́дъ и сра́мъ велерѣ́чующіи на мя́.

Let them that rejoice in my righteousness exult and be glad: and let them say continually, The Lord be magnified, who desire the peace of his servant.

Да возра́дуются и возвеселя́тся хотя́щіи пра́вды моєя́: и да реку́тъ вы́ну, да возвели́чится Госпо́дь, хотя́щіи ми́ра рабу́ Єго́.

And my tongue shall meditate on thy righteousness, and on thy praise all the day.

И язы́къ мо́й поучи́тся пра́вдѣ Твоє́й, ве́сь де́нь хвалѣ́ Твоє́й.

Глаго́летъ пребеззако́нный согрѣша́ти въ себѣ́: нѣ́сть стра́ха Бо́жія предъ очи́ма єго́:

The transgressor, that he may sin, says within himself, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

я́ко ульсти́ предъ ни́мъ обрѣсти́ беззако́ніє своє́, и возненави́дѣти.

For he has dealt craftily before him, to discover his iniquity and hate it.

Глаго́лы у́стъ єго́ беззако́ніє и ле́сть: не восхотѣ́ разумѣ́ти є́же ублажи́ти.

The words of his mouth are transgression and deceit: he is not inclined to understand how to do good.

Беззако́ніє помы́сли на ло́жи своє́мъ: предста́ вся́кому пути́ небла́гу, о зло́бѣ же не негодова́.

He devises iniquity on his bed; he gives himself to every evil way; and does not abhor evil.

Го́споди, на небеси́ ми́лость Твоя́, и и́стина Твоя́ до о́блакъ:

O Lord, thy mercy is in the heaven; and thy truth reaches to the clouds.

пра́вда Твоя́ я́ко го́ры Бо́жія, судьбы́ Твоя́ бе́здна мно́га: человѣ́ки и скоты́ спасе́ши, Го́споди.

Thy righteousness is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are as a great deep: O Lord, thou wilt preserve men and beasts.

Я́ко умно́жилъ єси́ ми́лость Твою́, Бо́же: сы́нове же человѣ́честіи въ кро́вѣ крилу́ Твоє́ю надѣ́ятися и́мутъ.

How hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! so the children of men shall trust in the shelter of thy wings.

Упію́тся от ту́ка до́му Твоєго́, и пото́комъ сла́дости Твоєя́ напои́ши я́.

They shall be fully satisfied with the fatness of thine house; and thou shalt cause them to drink of the full stream of thy delights.

Я́ко у Тебе́ исто́чникъ живота́, во свѣ́тѣ Твоє́мъ у́зримъ свѣ́тъ.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light we shall see light.

Проба́ви ми́лость Твою́ вѣ́дущымъ Тя́ и пра́вду Твою́ пра́вымъ се́рдцемъ.

Extend thy mercy to them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

Да не пріи́детъ мнѣ́ нога́ горды́ни, и рука́ грѣ́шнича да не подви́житъ мене́.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of sinners move me.

Та́мо падо́ша вси́ дѣ́лающіи беззако́ніє: изринове́ни бы́ша, и не возмо́гутъ ста́ти.

There have all the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast out, and shall not be able to stand.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду.

A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be envious of them that do iniquity.

Не ревну́й лука́внующымъ, ниже́ зави́ди творя́щымъ беззако́ніє.

For they shall soon be withered as the grass, and shall soon fall away as the green herbs.

Зане́ я́ко трава́ ско́ро и́зсшутъ, и я́ко зе́ліє зла́ка ско́ро отпаду́тъ.

Hope in the Lord, and do good; and dwell on the land, and thou shalt be fed with the wealth of it.

Упова́й на Го́спода и твори́ благосты́ню: и насели́ зе́млю, и упасе́шися въ бога́тствѣ єя́.

Delight thyself in the Lord; and he shall grant thee the requests of thine heart.

Наслади́ся Го́сподеви, и да́стъ ти́ проше́нія се́рдца твоєго́.

Disclose thy way to the Lord, and hope in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Откры́й ко Го́споду пу́ть тво́й и упова́й на Него́, и То́й сотвори́тъ.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noon-day.

И изведе́тъ я́ко свѣ́тъ пра́вду твою́ и судьбу́ твою́ я́ко полу́дне.

Submit thyself to the Lord, and supplicate him: fret not thyself because of him that prospers in his way, at the man that does unlawful deeds.

Повини́ся Го́сподеви и умоли́ Єго́. Не ревну́й спѣ́ющему въ пути́ своє́мъ, человѣ́ку творя́щему законопреступле́ніє.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself so as to do evil.

Преста́ни от гнѣ́ва и оста́ви я́рость: не ревну́й, є́же лука́вновати,

For evil-doers shall be destroyed: but they that wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the land.

зане́ лука́внующіи потребя́тся, терпя́щіи же Го́спода, ті́и наслѣ́дятъ зе́млю.

And yet a little while, and the sinner shall not be, and thou shalt seek for his place, and shalt not find it.

И єще́ ма́ло, и не бу́детъ грѣ́шника: и взы́щеши мѣ́сто єго́ и не обря́щеши.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Кро́тцыи же наслѣ́дятъ зе́млю и насладя́тся о мно́жествѣ ми́ра.

The sinner will watch for the righteous, and gnash his teeth upon him.

Назира́єтъ грѣ́шный пра́веднаго и поскреже́щетъ на́нь зубы́ свои́ми:

But the Lord shall laugh at him: for he foresees that his day will come.

Госпо́дь же посмѣє́тся єму́, зане́ прозира́єтъ, я́ко пріи́детъ де́нь єго́.

Sinners have drawn their swords, they have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy one, and to slay the upright in heart.

Ме́чь извлеко́ша грѣ́шницы, напряго́ша лу́къ сво́й, низложи́ти убо́га и ни́ща, закла́ти пра́выя се́рдцемъ.

Let their sword enter into their own heart, and their bows be broken.

Ме́чь и́хъ да вни́детъ въ сердца́ и́хъ, и лу́цы и́хъ да сокруша́тся.

A little is better to the righteous than abundant wealth of sinners.

Лу́чше ма́лоє пра́веднику, па́че бога́тства грѣ́шныхъ мно́га.

For the arms of sinners shall be broken; but the Lord supports the righteous.

Зане́ мы́шцы грѣ́шныхъ сокруша́тся, утвержда́єтъ же пра́ведныя Госпо́дь.

The Lord knows the ways of the perfect; and their inheritance shall be for ever.

Вѣ́сть Госпо́дь пути́ непоро́чныхъ, и достоя́ніє и́хъ въ вѣ́къ бу́детъ.

They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and in days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Не постыдя́тся во вре́мя лю́тоє и во дне́хъ гла́да насы́тятся, я́ко грѣ́шницы поги́бнутъ.

For the sinners shall perish; and the enemies of the Lord at the moment of their being honoured and exalted have utterly vanished like smoke.

Врази́ же Госпо́дни, ку́пно просла́витися и́мъ и вознести́ся, изчеза́юще я́ко ды́мъ изчезо́ша.

The sinner borrows, and will not pay again: but the righteous has compassion, and gives.

Зає́млетъ грѣ́шный и не возврати́тъ: пра́ведный же ще́дритъ и дає́тъ.

For they that bless him shall inherit the earth; and they that curse him shall be utterly destroyed.

Я́ко благословя́щіи Єго́ наслѣ́дятъ зе́млю, клену́щіи же Єго́ потребя́тся.

The steps of a man are rightly ordered by the Lord: and he will take pleasure in his way.

От Го́спода стопы́ человѣ́ку исправля́ются, и пути́ Єго́ восхо́щетъ зѣло́.

When he falls, he shall not be ruined: for the Lord supports his hand.

Єгда́ паде́тъ, не разбіє́тся, я́ко Госпо́дь подкрѣпля́єтъ ру́ку єго́.

I was once young, indeed I am now old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread.

Юнѣ́йшій бы́хъ, и́бо состарѣ́хся, и не ви́дѣхъ пра́ведника оста́влена, ниже́ сѣ́мене єго́ прося́ща хлѣ́бы.

He is merciful, and lends continually; and his seed shall be blessed.

Ве́сь де́нь ми́луєтъ и взаи́мъ дає́тъ пра́ведный, и сѣ́мя єго́ во благослове́ніє бу́детъ.

Turn aside from evil, and do good; and dwell for ever.

Уклони́ся от зла́ и сотвори́ благо, и всели́ся въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка.

For the Lord loves judgment, and will not forsake his saints; they shall be preserved for ever: the blameless shall be avenged, but the seed of the ungodly shall be utterly destroyed.

Я́ко Госпо́дь лю́битъ су́дъ и не оста́витъ преподо́бныхъ Свои́хъ: во вѣ́къ сохраня́тся: беззако́нницы же изжену́тся, и сѣ́мя нечести́выхъ потреби́тся.

But the righteous shall inherit the earth, and dwell upon it for ever.

Пра́ведницы же наслѣ́дятъ зе́млю и вселя́тся въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка на не́й.

The mouth of the righteous will meditate wisdom, and his tongue will speak of judgment.

Уста́ пра́веднаго поуча́тся прему́дрости, и язы́къ єго́ возглаго́летъ су́дъ.

The law of his God is in his heart; and his steps shall not slide.

Зако́нъ Бо́га єго́ в се́рдце єго́, и не за́пнутся стопы́ єго́.

The sinner watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.

Сматря́єтъ грѣ́шный пра́веднаго и и́щетъ є́же умертви́ти єго́:

But the Lord will not leave him in his hands, nor by any means condemn him when he is judged.

Госпо́дь же не оста́витъ єго́ въ руку́ єго́, ниже́ осу́дитъ єго́, єгда́ су́дитъ єму́.

Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are destroyed, thou shalt see it.

Потерпи́ Го́спода и сохрани́ пу́ть Єго́, и вознесе́тъ тя́ є́же наслѣ́дити зе́млю: внегда́ потребля́тися грѣ́шникомъ, у́зриши.

I saw the ungodly very highly exalting himself, and lifting himself up like the cedars of Libanus.

Ви́дѣхъ нечести́ваго превознося́щася и вы́сящася я́ко ке́дры Ліва́нскія:

Yet I passed by, and lo! he was not: and I sought him, but his place was not found.

и ми́мо идо́хъ, и се́, не бѣ́, и взыска́хъ єго́, и не обрѣ́теся мѣ́сто єго́.

Maintain innocence, and behold uprightness: for there is a remnant to the peaceable man.

Храни́ незло́біє и ви́ждь правоту́, я́ко є́сть оста́нокъ человѣ́ку ми́рну.

But the transgressors shall be utterly destroyed together: the remnants of the ungodly shall be utterly destroyed.

Беззако́нницы же потребя́тся вку́пѣ: оста́нцы же нечести́выхъ потребя́тся.

But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; and he is their defender in the time of affliction.

Спасе́ніє же пра́ведныхъ от Го́спода, и защи́титель и́хъ є́сть во вре́мя ско́рби:

And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: and he shall rescue them from sinners, and save them, because they have hoped in him.

и помо́жетъ и́мъ Госпо́дь и изба́витъ и́хъ, и и́зметъ и́хъ от грѣ́шникъ и спасе́тъ и́хъ, я́ко упова́ша на Него́.

A Psalm of David for remembrance concerning the Sabbath-day.

Го́споди, да не я́ростію Твоє́ю обличи́ши мене́, ниже́ гнѣ́вомъ Твои́мъ нака́жеши мене́:

O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath, neither chasten me in thine anger.

я́ко стрѣ́лы Твоя́ унзо́ша во мнѣ́, и утверди́лъ єси́ на мнѣ́ ру́ку Твою́.

For thy weapons are fixed in me, and thou hast pressed thy hand heavily upon me.

Нѣ́сть изцѣле́нія въ пло́ти моє́й от лица́ гнѣ́ва Твоєго́, нѣ́сть ми́ра въ косте́хъ мои́хъ от лица́ грѣ́хъ мои́хъ.

For there is no health in my flesh because of thine anger; there is no peace to my bones because of my sins.

Я́ко беззако́нія моя́ превзыдо́ша главу́ мою́, я́ко бре́мя тя́жкоє отяготѣ́ша на мнѣ́.

For my transgressions have gone over mine head: they have pressed heavily upon me like a weighty burden.

Возсмердѣ́ша и согни́ша ра́ны моя́, от лица́ безу́мія моєго́.

My bruises have become noisome and corrupt, because of my foolishness.

Пострада́хъ и сляко́хся до конца́, ве́сь де́нь сѣ́туя хожда́хъ:

I have been wretched and bowed down continually: I went with a mourning countenance all the day.

я́ко ля́двія моя́ напо́лнишася поруга́ній, и нѣ́сть изцѣле́нія въ пло́ти моє́й.

For my soul is filled with mockings; and there is no health in my flesh.

Озло́бленъ бы́хъ и смири́хся до зѣла́, рыка́хъ от воздыха́нія се́рдца моєго́.

I have been afflicted and brought down exceedingly: I have roared for the groaning of my heart.

Го́споди, предъ Тобо́ю все́ жела́ніє моє́, и воздыха́ніє моє́ от Тебе́ не утаи́ся.

But all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hidden from thee.

Се́рдце моє́ смяте́ся, оста́ви мя́ си́ла моя́, и свѣ́тъ о́чію моє́ю, и то́й нѣ́сть со мно́ю.

My heart is troubled, my strength has failed me; and the light of mine eyes is not with me.

Дру́зи мои́ и и́скренніи мои́ пря́мо мнѣ́ прибли́жишася и ста́ша.

My friends and my neighbours drew near before me, and stood still; and my nearest of kin stood afar off.

И бли́жніи мои́ отдале́че мене́ ста́ша, и нужда́хуся и́щущіи ду́шу мою́: и и́щущіи зла́я мнѣ́ глаго́лаху су́єтная, и льсти́внымъ ве́сь де́нь поуча́хуся.

While they pressed hard upon me that sought my soul: and they that sought my hurt spoke vanities, and devised deceits all the day.

А́зъ же я́ко глу́хъ не слы́шахъ, и я́ко нѣ́мъ не отверза́яй у́стъ свои́хъ:

But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and was as a dumb man not opening his mouth.

и бы́хъ я́ко человѣ́къ не слы́шай и не имы́й во устѣ́хъ свои́хъ обличе́нія.

And I was as a man that hears not, and who has no reproofs in his mouth.

Я́ко на Тя́, Го́споди, упова́хъ, Ты́ услы́шиши, Го́споди Бо́же мо́й.

For I hoped in thee, O Lord: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

Я́ко рѣ́хъ: да не когда́ пора́дуютмися врази́ мои́: и внегда́ подвижа́тися нога́мъ мои́мъ, на мя́ велерѣ́чеваша.

For I said, Lest mine enemies rejoice against me: for when my feet were moved, they spoke boastingly against me.

Я́ко а́зъ на ра́ны гото́въ, и болѣ́знь моя́ предо мно́ю є́сть вы́ну.

For I am ready for plagues, and my grief is continually before me.

Я́ко беззако́ніє моє́ а́зъ возвѣщу́ и попеку́ся о грѣсѣ́ моє́мъ.

For I will declare mine iniquity, and be distressed for my sin.

Врази́ же мои́ живу́тъ и укрѣпи́шася па́че мене́, и умно́жишася ненави́дящіи мя́ безъ пра́вды:

But mine enemies live, and are mightier than I: and they that hate me unjustly are multiplied.

воздаю́щіи ми́ зла́я возъ блага́я оболга́ху мя́, зане́ гоня́хъ благосты́ню.

They that reward evil for good slandered me; because I followed righteousness.

Не оста́ви мене́, Го́споди Бо́же мо́й, не отступи́ от мене́:

Forsake me not, O Lord my God: depart not from me.

вонми́ въ по́мощь мою́, Го́споди спасе́нія моєго́.

Draw nigh to my help, O Lord of my salvation.

Рѣ́хъ: сохраню́ пути́ моя́, є́же не согрѣша́ти ми́ язы́комъ мои́мъ: положи́хъ усто́мъ мои́мъ храни́ло, внегда́ воста́ти грѣ́шному предо мно́ю.

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I set a guard on my mouth, while the sinner stood in my presence.

Онѣмѣ́хъ и смири́хся, и умолча́хъ от бла́гъ, и болѣ́знь моя́ обнови́ся.

I was dumb, and humbled myself, and kept silence from good words; and my grief was renewed.

Согрѣ́яся се́рдце моє́ во мнѣ́, и въ поуче́ніи моє́мъ разгори́тся о́гнь: глаго́лахъ язы́комъ мои́мъ:

My heart grew hot within me, and a fire would kindle in my meditation: I spoke with my tongue,

скажи́ ми, Го́споди, кончи́ну мою́ и число́ дні́й мои́хъ, ко́є є́сть, да разумѣ́ю, что́ лиша́юся а́зъ.

O Lord, make me to know mine end, and the number of my days, what it is; that I may know what I lack.

Се́, пя́ди положи́лъ єси́ дни́ моя́, и соста́въ мо́й я́ко ничто́же предъ Тобо́ю: оба́че вся́ческая суєта́ вся́къ человѣ́къ живы́й.

Behold, thou hast made my days old; and my existence is as nothing before thee: nay, every man living is altogether vanity. Pause.

У́бо о́бразомъ хо́дитъ человѣ́къ, оба́че всу́є мяте́тся: сокро́вищствуєтъ, и не вѣ́сть, кому́ собере́тъ я́.

Surely man walks in a shadow; nay, he is disquieted in vain: he lays up treasures, and knows not for whom he shall gather them.

И ны́нѣ кто́ терпѣ́ніє моє́? Не Госпо́дь ли? И соста́въ мо́й от Тебе́ є́сть.

And now what is my expectation? is it not the Lord? and my ground of hope is with thee. Pause.

От всѣ́хъ беззако́ній мои́хъ изба́ви мя́: поноше́ніє безу́мному да́лъ мя́ єси́.

Deliver me from all my transgressions: thou hast made me a reproach to the foolish.

Онѣмѣ́хъ и не отверзо́хъ у́стъ мои́хъ, я́ко Ты́ сотвори́лъ єси́.

I was dumb, and opened not my mouth; for thou art he that made me.

Отста́ви от мене́ ра́ны Твоя́: от крѣ́пости бо руки́ Твоєя́ а́зъ изчезо́хъ.

Remove thy scourges from me: I have fainted by reason of the strength of thine hand.

Во обличе́ніихъ о беззако́ніи наказа́лъ єси́ человѣ́ка, и иста́ялъ єси́ я́ко паучи́ну ду́шу єго́: оба́че всу́є вся́къ человѣ́къ.

Thou chastenest man with rebukes for iniquity, and thou makest his life to consume away like a spider's web: nay, every man is disquieted in vain. Pause.

Услы́ши моли́тву мою́, Го́споди, и моле́ніє моє́ внуши́, сле́зъ мои́хъ не премолчи́: я́ко пресе́лникъ а́зъ є́смь у Тебе́ и пришле́цъ, я́коже вси́ отцы́ мои́.

O Lord, hearken to my prayer and my supplication: attend to my tears: be not silent, for I am a sojourner in the land, and a stranger, as all my fathers were.

Осла́би ми́, да почі́ю, пре́жде да́же не отиду́, и ктому́ не бу́ду.

Spare me, that I may be refreshed, before I depart, and be no more.
