Прїиде же ровоа'мъ въ і^ерsлиM. и^ съзва` до'мъ ве'сь і^ё'динъ, и^ венїами'нь. Wр~, Wп~. и^збраnныхъ, и^ бранящихъ да воюетъ проти'вђ і^и^л~я, и^ е^ровоа'ма да ѓ^братиT к# себњ црsтво свое`”
|
And Roboam came to Jerusalem; and he assembled Juda and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand young men fit for war, and he waged war with Israel to recover the kingdom to Roboam.
|

Бы'сть же сло'во гн~е къ семе'ю чл~кђ бж~їю гл~ющи.
|
And the word of the Lord came to Samaias the man of God, saying,
|

|
|
гл~и къ ровоа'мђ сн~ђ соло'моню цр~ю і^ё'динђ, и^ къ в#семђ` і^и^л~ю. и^же е^сть въ і^ё'дњ, и^ венїами'нњ.
|
Speak to Roboam the son of Solomon, and to all Juda and Benjamin, saying,

сїа рече г~ь. не въсходи'те ниже ѓ^полча'итеся проти'вђ бра'тїа ва'шея. ѓ^брати'теся е^ді'нъ ко'ждо в до'мъ свой. зане` мое^ю т^о съдњла'но е^сть во'лею. и^же е^гда слы'шаше сло'во гн~е, възврати'шася. не поидо'ша проти'вђ і^е^ровоа'мђ.
|
Thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not go up, and ye shall not war against your brethren: return every one to his home; for this thing is of me. And they hearkened to the word of the Lord, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

ѓ^бита' же ровоа'мъ въ і^ерsлимњ. и^ създа` гра'ды стњна'ты въ і^ё^де'и.
|
And Roboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and he built walled cities in Judæa.
|
|

|
|
състро'и же виџлее'мъ и^ е^џа'мъ, и^ џекђ'е,
|
And he built Bethleem, and Ætan and Thecoe,
|
|

|
|
и^ веџ#сђр'ъ, и^ съкхо'хъ, и^ ѓ^дола'нъ,
|
and Bæthsura, and Sochoth, and Odollam,
|
|

|

|
|
и^ ге'џъ, и^ марсаръ, и^ зи'фъ.
|
and Geth, and Marisa, and Ziph,
|
|

|

|
|
н^о и^ а^дђра'мъ, и^ лахи'съ, и^ а^зи'кђ,
|
and Adorai, and Lachis, and Azeca,
|
|
10
|
10
|
|
и^ са'лю. и^ е^ло'нъ, и^ хевро'нъ, и^же е^сть въ і^ё^де'и. и^ въ венїами'нњ гра'ды ё^правленњ'иши”
|
and Saraa, and Ælom, and Chebron, which belongs to Juda and Benjamin, walled cities.
|

Є$гда же затвори` и^хъ стњна'ми. положи` в ни'хъ нача'лники. и^ пи'щамъ ё^ста'вы. и^ ѓ^ле'и и^ вино`.
|
And he fortified them with walls, and placed in them captains, and stores of provisions, oil and wine,
|

|
по градђ ѓ^рђж'ницы, и^ щи'тоM и^ ко'пїемъ ё^крњпи' же и^хъ вельми` ѕњ'ло. и^ црsтвова на і^ё'дњ и^ венїами'нњ”
|
shields and spears in every several city, and he fortified them very strongly, and he had on his side Juda and Benjamin.

Сщ~енницы же и^ левљ=ты. и^же бя'хђ въ все'мъ і^и^л~и. прїидо'ша к немђ эT всњхъ предњ'лъ и^хъ.
|
And the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel were gathered to him out of all the coasts.
|

|
ѓ^ставля'ющи поDгра'дїя. и^ ѓ^дръжа'нїя своя`” И$ поидо'ша къ і^ё'дњ въ і^ерsлиM того ра'ди е^же и^згна' и^хъ, і^е^ровоаM, и^ сн~ы и^хъ, е^же не сщ~енъствова'ти гв~и”
|
For the Levites left the tents of their possession, and went to Juda to Jerusalem, because Jeroboam and his sons had ejected them so that they should not minister to the Lord.

|
И$ поста'ви себњ жерцы`, на высо'кихъ, идоломъ. и^ сђе'тныM, и^ те'л#цемъ, и%хже сътвори` і^е^ровоаM.
|
And he made for himself priests of the high places, and for the idols, and for the vanities, and for the calves which Jeroboam made.
|

|
и^ съврати` эT всњ'хъ колњ'нъ і^и^л~евыX къ и%доломъ и^же въда'ста срDце свое да възы'щђтъ г~а б~а і^и^л~ева, и^ прихожда'хђ пожре'ти жр'ътвъ свои^хъ. преD гм~ъ бм~ъ эTц~ъ свои^хъ”

And he cast out from the tribes of Israel those who set their heart to seek the Lord God of Israel: and they came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to the Lord God of their fathers.
|

|
И$ ё^силя'хђ црsтво і^ё'дино. и ё^крњпися ровоа'мъ сн~ъ соло'монь за тр^и лњта. ходи'ша б^о въ пђти` двDа, и^ соло'моня эTц~а е^го. лњта то'лькотр^и.
|
And they strengthened the kingdom of Juda; and Juda strengthened Roboam the son of Solomon for three years, for he walked three years in the ways of David and Solomon.

приве'де же ровоа'мъ женђ` моѓ^ла'џъ. дще'рь и^е^римђџ'ъ, сн~овъ дв~довыX, а^вигеи'ль же, дще'рь е^лїа'влю сн~овъ и^е^сай.
|
And Roboam took to himself for a wife Moolath daughter of Jerimuth the son of David, and Abigaia daughter of Heliab the son of Jessæ.
|

|
ја%же породи` е^мђ сн~ы. е^хђ'са, и^ сам#морїя, и^ заа'мъ.
|
And she bore him sons; Jeus, and Samoria, and Zaam.
|
|

|
по сихъ же поя'тъ себњ` маа'хђ дще'рь а^весало'млю, и^же роди` е^мђ а^вїя, и^ е^џ#џїа, и^ зи'зђ, и^ салимо'џа”
|
And afterwards he took to himself Maacha the daughter of Abessalom; and she bore him Abia, and Jetthi, and Zeza, and Salemoth.
|

И$ възлюби' же ровоа'мъ маа'хђ, дще'рь а^весало'млю наD всњ'ми жена'ми свои^ми, и^ поDло'ж#ницъ. ја%ко же'нъ, и~і, и^мњ`, и^ поDло'жницъ, ћE. и^ роди`, к~и, сн~овъ. и^ ћE, дще'рїи”

And Roboam loved Maacha the daughter of Abessalom more than all his wives and all his concubines: for he had eighteen wives and sixty concubines; and he begot twenty-eight sons, and sixty daughters.

|
И$ поста'ви въ нача'лника ровоа'мъ. а^вїя сн~а маа'ха, и^ кня'ѕемъ наD всею` бра'тїею свое'ю. того б^о и^ цр~емъ сътвори'ти помышля'ше,
|
And he made Abia the son of Maacha chief, even a leader among his brethren, for he intended to make him king.
|

|
и^же ра'слъ наD всю` бра'тїю е^го, и^ наD всњми сн~ы і^ё'дины, и^ венїами'новыми, и^ въ всњ'хъ гра'дњхъ і^ё'ды, и^ венїами'на. и^ въ всњхъ гра'дњхъ стњна'тыX. и^ въ зда'сть же и^мъ пи'ща мно'ги. и^ мно'гихъ проси` же'нъ”
|
And he was exalted beyond all his other sons in all the coasts of Juda and Benjamin, and in the strong cities; and he gave them provisions in great abundance: and he desired many wives.
