Въ лњто же сеDмое, ё^крњпи'ся і^ѓ^да'и. прїятъ соTники и^ а^зарїю и^же е^сть сн~ъ і^ѓ^роа'мль, і^ и^зма'еля сн~а і^ѓ^на'ня, и^ а^за'рїю сн~а ѓ^ви'дова, и^ а^масїю сн~а а^даи^е^ва, і^ е^лисафа'на сн~а захарїина, и^ внїиде с ни'м# в до'мъ гн~ь”
|
And in the eighth year Jodae strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azarias the son of Joram, and Ismael the son of Joanan, and Azarias the son of Obed, and Maasæas the son of Adia, and Elisaphan the son of Zacharias, with him into the house of the Lord.

И$же ѓ^бходяще і^ё^де'ю собрахђ левљ=ты эT всњхъ гра'довъ и^ё'диныхъ, и^ нача'лницы ѓ^би'телеи і^и^л~евыX” И$ прїидоша въ і^ерsлиM,
|
And they went round about Juda, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Juda, and heads of the families of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.

и^ завњщаша вс^и събра'вшися, завњт# цр~ьскїи, в# домђ` бж~їи и^ показа и^мъ цр~я, рече же к нимъ і^ѓ^да'и, с^е сн~ъ цр~евъ да въцр~ится. ја^ко гл~алъ е^сть г~ь на домъ двд~въ.

And all the congregation of Juda made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he shewed them the king's son, and said to them, Lo, let the king's son reign, as the Lord said concerning the house of David.

и^ с^е е^сть слово е^же сътвори'сте нн~њ. тре'тїа часть эT васъ да и^зыидетъ въ сђбо'тђ сщ~ен#никовъ и^ левљ=товъ и^ въ вра'та вхоDныя.
|
Now this is the thing which ye shall do. Let a third part of you, even of the priests and of the Levites, enter in on the sabbath, even into the gates of the entrances;

и^ третїя часть къ домђ` цр~евђ, и^ тре'тїя ча'сть къ вра'томъ среDним. и^ вс^и прочїи лю'дїе да бђдTђ въ дворњхъ до'мђ гн~я”
|
and let a third part be in the house of the king; and another third at the middle gate: and all the people in the courts of the Lord's house.
|

|
Никтоже и%нъ да вни'детъ въ до'мъ гн~ь. Токмо сщ~ен#ницы и^ левљ=ти і^ и^же слђжаT эT левљ=тъ. тїи то'кмо вни'дђтъ ја%ко ѓ^сщ~ен#ни сђть, и^ вс^и про'чїи лю'дїе въздръжаT стра'жђ гн~ю”
|
And let not any one enter into the house of the Lord, except the priests and the Levites, and the servants of the Levites; they shall enter in, because they are holy: and let all the people keep the watch of the Lord.

Левљ=ти же ѓ^быидђтъ цр~я, и^мњющи е^ді'нъ ко'ждо ѓ^рђжїа своя въ рђкђ свое^ю`. и^ а'ще кт^о въходящъ бђдеT въ цр~ковъ да ё^бїется. и бђдђтъ же съ цр~емъ въходя'щеи і^ и^сходящеи с ниM
|
And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man's weapon in his hand; and whoever else goes into the house shall die: but they shall be with the king when he goes out, and when he comes in.
|

сътвори'ша б^о левљ=ти и^ весь і^ё'да. по вс^я и^же повелњ і^ѓ^да'и жрецъ. и^ прїя'ша кождо мђ'жы и^же подъ ни'ми бњ'хђ. эT нача'ла сђботы, и^ до и^схода сђботы. зане не разори` и^ѓ^дае жреw слђ'жбы по вся` дн~и ё^чине'ное”
|
And the Levites and all Juda did according to all that the priest Jodae commanded them, and they took each his men from the beginning of the sabbath to the end of the sabbath, for Jodae the priest did not dismiss the courses.

дасть і^ѓ^да'е сщ~енникъ со'тникомъ, по чи'нђ поста'вленымъ, ме'чи и^ щи'ты, и^ бро'ня цр~я дв~да ја%же ѓ^сщ~а в домђ` гн~и.
|
And Jodae gave to the men the swords, and the shields, and the arms, which had belonged to king David, in the house of God.

и^ поста'ви же вс^и лю'ди дръжа'щїи ме'чи ѓ'стры эT десны'а страны` цр~кви, даже до лњ'выя страны` цр~кви ѓ^лтаря` и^ домђ цр~ева ѓ^крsтъ.
|
And he set the whole people, every man with his arms, from the right side of the house to the left side of the altar and the house, over against the king round about.
|

і^ и^зведо'ша сн~а цр~ева. и^ наложи'ша е^мђ дїадимђ и^ свњдњтельство зако'нђ и^ поста'виша е^го ц~реM и^ пома'за е^го і^ѓ^да'и жрецъ, и^ сн~ове е^го и^ возопи'ша е^мђ и^ реко'ша. живи` цр~ю.
|
And he brought out the king's son, and put on him the crown and the testimony, and Jodae the priest and his sons proclaimed him king, and anointed him, and said, Long live the king!
|

и^же е^гда` ё^слы'ша гоџолїя глаs людїи текђщиX і^ и^сповњда'ющиX и^ хваля'щихъ цр~я. и^ вни'де къ цр~ю въ цр~квъ гн~ю.
|
And Gotholia heard the sound of the people running, and acknowledging and praising the king: and she went in to the king into the house of the Lord.
|

і^ е^гда же ви'дњ цр~я стоа'ща на степе'ни е^го восхо'да, начаlницы же и^ народи ѓ'крsтъ е^го. вси` лю'дїе зеMстїи радђю^щися и^ звђча'хђ трђ'бы. и^ пою'щиX въ ѓ^рга'ны мђсикїю и^ хваля'щиX хва'лђ” Растерзаy ри'зы своа гоџолїа и^ възопї и^ рече. ловле'нїе ловленїе.

And she looked, and, behold, the king stood in his place, and the princes and trumpets were at the entrance, and the princes were round the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded the trumpets, and there were the singers singing with instruments, and singing hymns of praise. And Gotholia rent her robe, and cried, Ye surely are plotting against me.

и^зыиде же і^ѓ^да'и а^рхїере'и къ сотникомъ и^ нача'лникомъ во'иномъ рече иM. и^зведњте ю& во'нъ цр~кви і^ и^зыидњте въ слDњ е^я`, и^ да ё^бїется внњ` мечемъ. повелњ б^о сщ~ен#никъ да не ё'мретъ в# домђ` гн~и.

And Jodae the priest went forth, and Jodae the priest charged the captains of hundreds, even the captains of the host, and said to them, Thrust her forth outside the house, and follow her, and let her be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Let her not be slain in the house of the Lord.

и^ да'ша е'й поко'и на мало до'ндеже вънидо'ша въ вра'та ко'нниk до'мђ цр~ева. ё^би'ша е^я` т^ђ”
|
So they let her go out; and she went through the horsemen's gate of the house of the king, and they slew her there.
|
|

|
И$ завњща` и^ѓ^да'и завњтъ проме'жђ е^го всњхъ лю'дїи и^ цр~я. даб^ы бы'ли лю'дї гн~я”
|
And Jodae made a covenant between himself, and the people, and the king, that the people should be the Lord's.
|

|
И$ внидо'ша же вс^и лю'дїе земля` в# до'мъ ваа'ловъ и^ разориша е^го, и^ ѓ^лта'ри е^го і^ и^до'лы е^го съкрђши'ша и^ матџа'на же жерца` ваа'лова ё^би'шA преD ѓ^лта'ремъ е^го”
|
And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and tore down it and its altars, and they ground his images to powder, and they slew Matthan the priest of Baal before his altars.

И$ нача` і^ѓ^да'и жрецъ дњ'ла въ домђ` гн~и. поD рђ'кђ сщ~е'нниковъ и^ левљ=товъ. и^ поста'ви повся`дн~евное слђженїе жер#цевъ, и^ левљ=товъ. и%хже раздњли дв~дъ въ домђ` гн~и, и^ се'й принесе вс^ясъж#женїя гв~и. ја%ко пи'санно е^сть въ зако'нњ мољ=сїѓ'вњ” Въ ра'дости и^ пњнїи`, по расмотренїю двд~вђ.

And Jodae the priest committed the works of the house of the Lord into the hand of the priests and Levites, and he re-established the courses of the priests and Levites which David appointed over the house of the Lord, and he appointed them to offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord, as it is written in the law of Moses, with gladness, and with songs by the hand of David.

и^ поста'виша же две'рники въ вра'тњхъ до'мђ гн~я. и^ да не вни'деT в ню` нечи'стъ въ вся'кои вещи”
|
And the porters stood at the gates of the house of the Lord, that no one unclean in any respect should enter in.
|
|

|
|
И$ прїя^ша же сотъники и^ крњпкїя мђж'а, и^ нача'лники людїи, и^ вси` лю'дїе земли`. и^ сътвори'ша сни'ти цр~ю эT до'мђ гн~я. и^ въни'де по'средњ вра'тъ внђтрънихъ въ до'мъ цр~евъ. и^ посади'ша е^го на прsтлњ цр~ьстњмъ”
|
And he took the heads of families, and the mighty men, and the chiefs of the people, and all the people of the land, and they conducted the king into the house of the Lord; and he went through the inner gate into the king's house, and they seated the king on the throne of the kingdom.

И$ възвесели'ша же ся вс^и лю'дїе земъстїи. и^ граD ё^поко'ися. и^ гоџолїя ё^бїена е^сть мече'мъ”
|
And all the people of the land rejoiced; and the city was quiet: and they slew Gotholia.
