Бя'ше же е^ді'нъ эT колњ'на левїина, и^же поя'тъ эT дще'рїи левїиныхъ. і^ и^мњ ю&”
And there was a certain man of the tribe of Levi, who took to wife one of the daughters of Levi.

и зача'тъ въ чревњ, и^ роди` мђж'ескыи полъ” Видњв#ше же е^го добра` и^ лњ'па, ша е^готр^и мsцы” Є$гда
And she conceived, and bore a male child; and having seen that he was fair, they hid him three months.

же не можа'хђ ё^кры'ти е^го, и^ взя'тъ мт~и е^го, ковче'жецъ си'товыи и^ посмоли и& клїем# и^ смоло'ю, и^ вложи` ѓ^троча` во'нь, и^ положи` е^го в лђцњ, при бре'гђ
And when they could no longer hide him, his mother took for him an ark, and besmeared it with bitumen, and cast the child into it, and put it in the ooze by the river.

рњки`. блюдя'ше же сестра` е^го и^здале'ча да ви'дитъ чт^о бђ'детъ е^мђ”
And his sister was watching from a distance, to learn what would happen to him.

И$зыде же тогда` дще'рь фараѓ'нова. и^зъмы'тися в рњцњ, и^ рабы'ня ея`” И$ хожда'хђ по' брегђ рњки`, ё^зрњ'вши же ковчежецъ в лђцњ, посла рабы'ню и^ взя'тъ и&, и^
And the daughter of Pharao came down to the river to bathe; and her maids walked by the river's side, and having seen the ark in the ooze, she sent her maid, and took it up.

эTвр'ъзши видњ ѓ^троча` пла'чющеся въ ковчежцњ, и^ пощади` е& дще'рь фараѓ'ня, и^ рече. эT дњте'и е^врњи'скыхъ е^сть с^е”
And having opened it, she sees the babe weeping in the ark: and the daughter of Pharao had compassion on it, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.

И$ рече сестра е^го дще'ри фараѓ'новњ, хо'щеши ли призовђ` т^и женђ` дои'лицђ эT е^врњи, и^ въздои'тъ и& въско'рмитъ т^и ѓ^тро ча`”
And his sister said to the daughter of Pharao, Wilt thou that I call to thee a nurse of the Hebrews, and shall she suckle the child for thee?

И$ рече е'и дще'рь фараѓ'нова, и^д^и. шеDши же ѓ^трокови'ца призва` мт~ръ ѓ^троча'те”
And the daughter of Pharao said, Go: and the young woman went, and called the mother of the child.

Речеy к не'и дще'рь фараѓ'нова, съблюди м^и ѓ^троча сїе, и^ въздои` м^и е&, а%з же да'мъ ти м#здђ` твою`” Взя'т же ѓ^троча` жена`, и^ доа'ше е^го,
And the daughter of Pharao said to her, Take care of this child, and suckle it for me, and I will give thee the wages; and the woman took the child, and suckled it.

възмђжавшђ же ѓ^трочати, и^въведе и& къ дще'ри фараѓ'новњ, и^ бысть е'й въ сн~а” И$ нарече и%мя е^мђ мољ=сїи, гл~ющи, ја%ко эT воды` взя'хъ е^го”
And when the boy was grown, she brought him to the daughter of Pharao, and he became her son; and she called his name, Moses, saying, I took him out of the water.

Бысть же въ дн~и мно'гия ѓ^ны` е^гда` вели'къ бывъ мољ=сїи, і^ и^зы'де же къ бра'тїамъ свои^мъ сн~омъ іи~левыM, разђмњв# же болњ'знь их#, ви'дњ чл~ка е^гљ=птянина, бию'ща нњ'коего е^врња^нина эT бра'тїа е^го сн~овъ і^и~левыX”
And it came to pass in that length of time, that Moses having grown, went out to his brethren the sons of Israel: and having noticed their distress, he sees an Egyptian smiting a certain Hebrew of his brethren the children of Israel.

ѓ^зрњ'в же ся та'мо, и^ са'мо, и^ не ви'дњ никогоже, и^ ё^би'въ е^гљ=птянина, и^ скры` е^го в песцњ`”
And having looked round this way and that way, he sees no one; and he smote the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

И$зшеD же и^въ вторы'и дн~ь, ви'дњ дв^а мђжа е^врња'ниня. пря'щася, и^ гл~а, къ ѓ^би'дящемђ, чт^о ради т^ы бїе'ши и^скреняго”
And having gone out the second day he sees two Hebrew men fighting; and he says to the injurer, Wherefore smitest thou thy neighbour?

ѓ%н же рече кт^отя` поста'ви кн~ѕя и^ сђдїю` наD нами, е^гда` ё^би'ти м^я ты` хо'щеши, ја%коже ё^би` вчера` е^гљ=птянина, ё^боа'в же ся мољ=сїи и^ рече, а%ще си'це ја^вле'нъ бђдетъ гл~ъ сїи”
And he said, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us? wilt thou slay me as thou yesterday slewest the Egyptian? Then Moses was alarmed, and said, If it be thus, this matter has become known.

Оу^слы'шав же фараѓ'нъ рњчь сїю`, и^ска'ша ё^би'ти мољ=сїя. эTи^де же мољ=сїи эT лица` фараѓ'нова, и^ въсели'ся въ земли` мадїа'мъстњи” И$е^гда же прише'дъ въ зе'млю мадїа'мъскђю, и^ сњ'де при кла'дяѕи”
And Pharao heard this matter, and sought to slay Moses; and Moses departed from the presence of Pharao, and dwelt in the land of Madiam; and having come into the land of Madiam, he sat on the well.

Сщ~енникђ же мадїа'мъскомђ бњша, з~, дще'рїи пасђще ѓ%вца эTц~а свое^го, иѓ^џо'ра” И$ пришеDше черпа'хђ до'ндеже напо'лъниша коры'та, напои'ти ѓ%вца эTц~а свое^го и^ѓ^џо'ра,
And the priest of Madiam had seven daughters, feeding the flock of their father Jothor; and they came and drew water until they filled their pitchers, to water the flock of their father Jothor.

пришеDше же па'стырїе и^згна'ша я&” Въста'в же мољ=сїи и^зба'ви и^хъ, и^ налїа` и^мъ, и^ напои` ѓ^вца и^хъ”
And the shepherds came, and were driving them away; and Moses rose up and rescued them, and drew water for them, and watered their sheep.

Прїидо'ша же къ і^ѓ^џорђ эTц~ђ свое^мђ, се'й же рече и^мъ, чт^о ја%ко ё^скори'сте прїити днsь”
And they came to Raguel their father; and he said to them, Why have ye come so quickly to-day?

ѓ^ниy рекоша, чл~къ е^гљ=птянинъ и^зба'ви насъ эT па'стыреи, и^ начерпа` наM, и^ напои` ѓ%вца наша”
And they said, An Egyptian delivered us from the shepherds, and drew water for us and watered our sheep.

Сей же рече къ дще'ремъ свои^мъ, гдњ е^сть ѓ%нъ и^ въскђ'ю си'це ѓ^ста'висте чл~ка, възовњте ё^бо е^го да я'сть хлњбъ”
And he said to his daughters, And where is he? and why have ye left the man? call him therefore, that he may eat bread.

Въсели' же ся мољ=сїи ё^ чл~ка, и^ даде` семъфо'рђ дще'рь свою`, мољ=сїю въ женђ”
And Moses was established with the man, and he gave Sepphora his daughter to Moses to wife.

Заче'нши же въ ё^тро'бњ жена` роди сн~а, и^нарече и%мя е^мђ мољ=сїи, гирсе'мъ гл~я, ја%ко пришле'цъ е^смь аZ въ земли` чђжде'и” И$ па'ки заченъ породи` дрђгїи и^ нарече и%мя е^мђ е^лие^зеръ гл~я, б~ъ эTц~а мое^го, помощникъ мн^њ, и^зба'ви мя и^з рђки` фараѓ'новы”
And the woman conceived and bore a son, and Moses called his name Gersam, saying, I am a sojourner in a strange land.

По дн~ех же мно'гыхъ тњхъ, ё^мрњтъ цр~ь е^гљ=пеTскыи, и^ въстенаша сн~ове і^и~левы эT дњлъ, и^ възопи'ша, и^ възы'де во'пль и^хъ къ бг~ђ эT
And in those days after a length of time, the king of Egypt died; and the children of Israel groaned because of their tasks, and cried, and their cry because of their tasks went up to God.

работъ” И$ё^слы'ша б~ъ стена'нїе и^хъ. и^помянђ` б~ъ завTњ свои, и^же къ а^враа'мђ, і^саа'кђ,і^а'ковђ.и^
And God heard their groanings, and God remembered his covenant made with Abraam and Isaac and Jacob.

възрvњ б~ъ на сн~ы і^и^л~евы, и^ възвњстися и^мъ”
And God looked upon the children of Israel, and was made known to them.
