ЈАко ꙁемля` непроходи'ма, ја%ко трђба, ја%ко ѓ^ре'лъ въ до'мђ гн~и. поне'же престђпи'ша ꙁавњтъ мои, и^ на ꙁако'нъ мои нечествова'шA.
|
He shall come into their midst as the land, as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and have sinned against my law.
|

къ мнњ възовђтъ, б~е поꙁна'хом# т^я,
|
They shall soon cry out to me, saying, O God, we know thee.
|
|

|
|
ја%ко і^и^л~ь воZврати бл~гая враги б^о прогна'ша”
|
For Israel has turned away from good things; they have pursued an enemy.
|
|

|
|
Сами цр~я поста'виша, а^ не мною нача'ша. кня'ѕи ё^ста'виша, и^ не ја^ви'ша м^и. съ сребра` свое^го и^ зла'та сътвори'ша себњ кђми'ры, ја%ко да потребя'тся”
|
They have made kings for themselves, but not by me: they have ruled, but they did not make it known to me: of their silver and their gold they have made images to themselves, that they might be destroyed.

эTврьзи те'лець свои самарїе, раз#гнњ'вася ја%рость моя на' ня. до чесо не мо'гђтъ ё^чиститися и^же въ і^и^л~и.
|
Cast off thy calf, O Samaria; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will they be unable to purge themselves in Israel?

и^ т^о древодњля сътвори`, и^ нњсть б~ъ. ꙁане` л#стя` бя'ше те'лець твои самарїе”
|
Whereas the workman made it, and it is not God; wherefore thy calf, Samaria, was a deceiver:

ЈА/ко вњтромъ и^сте'пено всњяша, и^ раꙁрDђше'нїе иX пожде'тъ и^хъ, съ гор#сть не и^мы'и си'лы да сътвори'тъ мђкђ`. а^щеy и^ сътвори'тъ, т^о и'нїи и^з#ја^дяT ю&”
|
for they sowed blighted seed, and their destruction shall await them, a sheaf of corn that avails not to make meal; and even if it should produce it, strangers shall devour it.

Погря'зе і^и^л~ь, нн~њ бы'сть въ страна'хъ ја%ко сосђдъ непотре'бен#.
|
Israel is swallowed up: now is he become among the nations as a worthless vessel.
|
|

|
тїи възыдо'ша въ а^сљ=рїю. процвњте ѓ^ себњ въ мнњ`, е^фрᲇмъ м#здђ възлюби`.
|
For they have gone up to the Assyrians: Ephraim has been strengthened against himself; they loved gifts.
|
|

|
|
сего ради преда'сться въ страны`, нн~њ преждђ` и^хъ. да почїют# ма'ло помаза'ти цр~я и^ кн~ѕя.
|
Therefore shall they be delivered to the nations: now I will receive them, and they shall cease a little to anoint a king and princes.
|

ја%ко ё^множи` е^фрᲇмъ тре'бникь, въ грњхъ бы'ша е^мђ.
|
Because Ephraim has multiplied altars, his beloved altars are become sins to him.
|
|

|
|
въпиши` е^мђ мно'жество ꙁако'нъ е^го. въ чю'ждая намени'шася тре'бницы въꙁлю'бленїи.
|
I will write down a multitude of commands for him; but his statutes are accounted strange things, even the beloved altars.
|

|
тњм#же а^ще и^ поло'жаT тре'бђ і^ и^ꙁъја^дя'тъ мя'са, г~ь не прїимеT и^хъ. нн~њ помяне'тъ неправды иX, и^ м#сти'тъ грњхъ и^хъ. тїи въ е^гљ=петъ възврати'шася, и^ въ а^сљрїиX нечи'стая и^ꙁъја%дя'тъ.
|
For if they should offer a sacrifice, and eat flesh, the Lord will not accept them: now will he remember their iniquities, and will take vengeance on their sins: they have returned to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things among the Assyrians.

и^ ꙁабы` і^ил~ь сътво'ршаго и&, и^ възъгради` тре'бища. і^ и^ё'да ё^мно'жи гра'ды ё^твержены, н^о послю` ѓ'гнь на гра'ды е^го и^ потреби'тъ ко'ренїя и^х#”
|
And Israel has forgotten him that made him, and they have built fanes, and Juda has multiplied walled cities: but I will send fire on his cities, and it shall devour their foundations.
