|
Отвњща' же і%ѓвъ и^ рече.
|
Then Job answered and said,
|

|
|
доколњ притрђ'днђ съътвори'те дш~ђ мою, и^ низложи'сте м^я словесы`. разђмњи'те то'кмо, ја%ко б~ъ сътвори` м^я си'цева,
|
How long will ye vex my soul, and destroy me with words? only know that the Lord has dealt with me thus.
|

|
тя'жњте м^я, не стыдя'щися нале'жите м^и.
|
Ye speak against me; ye do not feel for me, but bear hard upon me.
|
|

|
|
и^ ё'бо въи'стиннђ а^ꙁъ прельсти'хся, ё^ мене' же не въдворя'ется лестець, гл~ти сло'во мое е^же не подоба'етъ. словеса' же моя съблажня'ются и^ не въ вре'мя.
|
Yea verily, I have erred in truth, (but the error abides with myself) in having spoken words which it was not right to speak; and my words err, and are unseasonable.
|

|
ѓ^стани же ја%ко на мя велича'етеся. наскака'ете же м^и словесы поно'сными.
|
But alas! for ye magnify yourselves against me, and insult me with reproach.
|
|

|
|
раꙁђмњ'ите ё^бо ја%ко г~ь е^сть мои, ё^тверже'нїе свое на мя въꙁнесе`.
|
Know then that it is the Lord that has troubled me, and has raised his bulwark against me.
|
|

|
|
с^е смњхъ поноше'нїя не възъгл~ю, и^ възопїю и^ нигдњ же сђдъ.
|
Behold, I laugh at reproach; I will not speak: or I will cry out, but there is nowhere judgment.
|
|

|
|
ѓ%крsтъ ѓ^граждеn е^смь, и^ не и%мамъ минђти. преD лицем# же мои^мъ тмђ` положи`,
|
I am fenced round about, and can by no means escape: he has set darkness before my face.
|
|

|
|
сла'вђ же ѓ^ мн^њ съвлече, эTя'т# же вњнець эT главы` моеа.
|
And he has stripped me of my glory, and has taken the crown from my head.
|
|

|

|
|
разᲄерза' же м^я ѓ%крsтъ и^ эTи^доX, посњче' же ја^ко дре'во надежDђ мою`.
|
He has torn me round about, and I am gone: and he has cut off my hope like a tree.
|
|

|
|
лю'тњ гнњвоM сътвори` м^и и^мᲇ же м^я ја^ко вра'га.
|
And he has dreadfully handled me in anger, and has counted me for an enemy.
|
|

|
|
въкђпњ прїидо'ша и^скђше'нїя е^го на' мя, на пђтехъ же мои^хъ ѓ^быидо'ша м^я преDсњдя'щеи.
|
His troops also came upon me with one accord, liers in wait compassed my ways.
|
|

|
|
и^ бра'тїя моя эTстђпи'ша эT мене, поꙁна'ша чю'жа неже мене. и^ дрђꙁи мои` немлsтиви бы'ша,
|
My brethren have stood aloof from me; they have recognised strangers rather than me: and my friends have become pitiless.
|
|

|
|
не прїяша м^я бли'жнїи мои` и^ вњдђще и%мя мое ꙁабы'ша м^я.
|
My nearest of kin have not acknowledged me, and they that knew my name, have forgotten me.
|
|

|

|
|
сосњди до'мђ и^ рабыня моя`, ја%ко и^ноплеме'нникъ быX преD ними.
|
As for my household, and my maid-servants, I was a stranger before them.
|
|
16
|
16
|
|
раба` свое^го възва'хᲆ и^ не послђша, ё^стаy моя моля'хђся,
|
I called my servant, and he hearkened not; and my mouth intreated him.
|
|
17
|
17
|
|
и^ слђжа'хђ женњ` мое'и. призыва'х же лаская сн~ы поDложниць моиX,
|
And I besought my wife, and earnestly intreated the sons of my concubines.
|
|
18
|
18
|
|
ѓни' же мене въ вњк# эTринђша. е^гда` въста'нђ, на мя гл~ют#.
|
But they rejected me for ever; whenever I rise up, they speak against me.
|
|
19
|
19
|
|
ме'рзокъ бывъ вњдђщиM м^я и^хже люби'хъ въста'ша на' мя.
|
They that saw me abhorred me: the very persons whom I had loved, rose up against me.
|
|
20
|
20
|
|
въ кожи мое'и согни'ша пло'ти моя`, ко'сти же моя в ꙁђбњхъ съдръжаT.
|
My flesh is corrupt under my skin, and my bones are held in my teeth.
|
|
21
|
21
|
|
поми'лђите м^я поми'лђите м^я ЭO дрђꙁи, рђка` б^о гн~я коснђвшїи м^я е^сть.
|
Pity me, pity me, O friends; for it is the hand of the Lord that has touched me.
|
|
22
|
22
|
|
почто' же м^я го'ните, ја%коже и^ г~ь. эT пло'ти же мое'я не насыща'е^теся”
|
Wherefore do ye persecute me as also the Lord does, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
|
|

|
|
Кт^о ё^бо да'сть да бы'ша написана словеса моя. и^ положи'ти и^хъ въ кни'гахъ въ вњкъ,
|
For oh that my words were written, and that they were recorded in a book for ever,
|
|

|

|
|
въ писа'нїи желњзнᲇ ѓко'вњ, и^л^и в ка'мени въвая'ти.
|
with an iron pen and lead, or graven in the rocks!
|
|
25
|

|
|
ви'дњ б^о ја^ко прsносђще еs и^же и%мать разори'ти по ꙁемли`, въздви'гнђти ко'жђ мою въздвиза'ющђюся,
|
For I know that he is eternal who is about to deliver me,
|
|

|
|
эT г~а же сїе быs м^и.
|
and to raise up upon the earth my skin that endures these sufferings: for these things have been accomplished to me of the Lord;
|
|
27
|
27
|
|
и^ е^же аꙁъ въ себњ съвњдњ, ја%же ѓ%ко мое видњ а^ не и'нъ, и^ все' же ми сконча'ся в ло'нњ.
|
which I am conscious of in myself, which mine eye has seen, and not another, but all have been fulfilled to me in my bosom.
|

|
а^ще же и^ речете чт^о речемъ преD ни'мъ, и^ ко'рень словеси ѓ^бря'щеM на немъ.
|
But if ye shall also say, What shall we say before him, and so find the root of the matter in him?
|
|

|
|
ё^бо'ите же ся и^ вы` эT покрове'нїя, ја%рость б^о на безако'н#ныя на'идетъ, и^ тогда ё^вњдятъ гд^њ и^хъ е^сть ве'щь”
|
Do ye also beware of deceit: for wrath will come upon transgressors; and then shall they know where their substance is.
