©о7}.) Пavелъ, послaнникъ ї}съ хrт0въ по повелёнію бGа сп7са нaшегw и3 гDа ї}са хrтA ўповaніz нaшегw, | Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the commandment of God our Savior, and the Lord Jesus Christ our hope; |

| тімоfeю пrному чaду въ вёрэ: блгdть, млcть, ми1ръ t бGа nц7A нaшегw и3 хrтA ї}са гDа нaшегw. | unto Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, peace, from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. |
3
3
| Ћкоже ўмоли1хъ тS пребhти во є3фeсэ, и3дhй въ макед0нію, да завэщaеши нBкимъ не и4накw ўчи1ти, | As I exhorted thee to tarry at Ephesus, when I was going into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain men not to teach a different doctrine, |
4
4
| нижE внимaти бaснемъ и3 родосл0віємъ безконє1чнымъ, ±же стzз†ніz творsтъ пaче, нeжели б9іе строeніе, є4же въ вёрэ. | neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questionings, rather than a dispensation of God which is in faith; so do I now. |
5
5
| Конeцъ же завэщaніz є4сть любы2 t чи1ста сeрдца и3 с0вэсти бlгjz и3 вёры нелицемёрныz, | But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfeigned: |
6
6
| въ ни1хже нёцыи погрэши1вше, ўклони1шасz въ суеслHвіz, | from which things some having swerved have turned aside unto vain talking; |
7
7
| desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor whereof they confidently affirm. |
8
8
©о7f7.) Вёмы же, ћкw д0бръ зак0нъ (є4сть), ѓще кто2 є3го2 зак0ннэ твори1тъ, | But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully, |
9

| вёдый сіE, ћкw првdнику зак0нъ не лежи1тъ [не положeнъ], но беззакHннымъ и3 непокори6вымъ, нечести6вымъ (же) и3 грёшникwмъ, непрaвєднымъ и3 сквє1рнымъ, nтцA и3 мaтере досади1телємъ, мужеубjйцамъ, | as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, |
10
10
| блудникHмъ, мужел0жникwмъ, разб0йникwмъ, (клеветникHмъ, скотол0жникwмъ,) лжи6вымъ, клzтвопрестyпникwмъ, и3 ѓще что2 и4но здрaвому ўчeнію проти1витсz, | for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine; |
11
11
| according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. |
12
12
©п7.) И# благодарю2 ўкрэплsющаго мS хrтA ї}са гDа нaшего, ћкw вёрна мS непщевA, положи1въ (мS) въ слyжбу, | And I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service; |
13
13
| бhвша мS и3ногдA хyлника и3 гони1телz и3 досади1телz: но поми1лованъ бhхъ, ћкw невёдый сотвори1хъ въ невёрствіи: | though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief; |
14
14
| ўпреумн0жисz же блгdть гDа нaшегw (ї}са хrтA) съ вёрою и3 люб0вію ћже њ хrтЁ ї}сэ. | and the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. |

16
16
| howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me as chief might Jesus Christ show forth all his long-suffering, for an example of them that should thereafter believe on him unto eternal life. |
17
17
| Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. |

19
| и3мёz вёру и3 бlгyю с0вэсть, ю4же нёцыи tри1нувше, t вёры tпад0ша: | holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust from them made shipwreck concerning the faith: |

1
©п7в7.) Молю2 u5бо прeжде всёхъ твори1ти моли6твы, молє1ніz, прошє1ніz, благодарє1ніz за вс‰ человёки, | I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men; |

| за царS и3 за всёхъ, и5же во влaсти сyть, да ти1хое и3 безм0лвное житіE поживeмъ во всsцэмъ бlгочeстіи и3 чтcотЁ: | for kings and all that are in high place; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity. |
3
3
| сіe бо добро2 и3 пріsтно пред8 сп7си1телемъ нaшимъ бGомъ, | For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; |
4

4

5
5
| Е#ди1нъ бо є4сть бGъ, и3 є3ди1нъ ходaтай бGа и3 человёкwвъ, чlвёкъ хrт0съ ї}съ, | For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus, |
6
6
| дaвый себE и3збавлeніе за всёхъ: свидётелство времены2 свои1ми, | who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times; |
7

| whereunto I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I lie not), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. |
8
8
| ХощY u5бо, да моли6твы творsтъ мyжіе на всsцэмъ мёстэ, воздёюще прпdбныz рyки без8 гнёва и3 размышлeніz: | I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing. |
9
9
| тaкожде и3 жєны2 во ўкрашeніи лёпотнэмъ, со стыдёніемъ и3 цэломyдріемъ да ўкрашaютъ себE не въ плетeніихъ, ни злaтомъ, и3ли2 би1серми, и3ли2 ри1зами многоцёнными, | In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly raiment; |
10
10
| но, є4же подобaетъ женaмъ њбэщавaющымсz бlгочeстію, дёлы бlги1ми. | but (which becometh women professing godliness) through good works. |

11

11
| ЖенA въ безм0лвіи да ўчи1тсz со всsкимъ покорeніемъ: | Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection. |
12
12
| But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness. |
13
13
| Ґдaмъ бо прeжде с0зданъ бhсть, пот0мъ же є4vа: | For Adam was first formed, then Eve; |
14

14

| и3 ґдaмъ не прельсти1сz, женa же прельсти1вшисz, въ преступлeніи бhсть: | and Adam was not beguiled, but the woman being beguiled hath fallen into transgression: |
15
15
| but she shall be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with sobriety. |

1
1
©п7G.) | Faithful is the saying, If a man seeketh the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. |
2
2
| Подобaетъ u5бо є3пjскопу бhти непор0чну, є3ди1ныz жены2 мyжу, трeзвену, цэломyдру, (благоговёйну,) чeстну, страннолюби1ву, ўчи1телну, | The bishop therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach; |
3
3
| не піsницэ, не бjйцэ, не сварли1ву, не мшелои1мцу, но кр0тку, (не зави1стливу,) не сребролю1бцу, | not given to wine, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but gentle, not contentious, no lover of money; |
4
4
| св0й д0мъ д0брэ прaвzщу, ч†да и3мyщу въ послушaніи со всsкою чистот0ю [чeстностію]: | one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; |
5
5
| ѓще же кто2 своегw2 д0му не ўмёетъ прaвити, кaкw њ цRкви б9іей прилэжaти возм0жетъ; | (but if a man knoweth not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) |
6
6
| not a novice, lest being puffed up he fall into the condemnation of the devil. |
7
7
| Moreover he must have good testimony from them that are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. |
8
8
| Діaконwмъ тaкожде чи6стымъ [чє1стнымъ], не двоzзы6чнымъ, не вінY мн0гу внимaющымъ, не скверностzжaтєлнымъ, | Deacons in like manner must be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; |
9
9
| holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. |
10
10
| And let these also first be proved; then let them serve as deacons, if they be blameless. |
11
11
| Women in like manner must be grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. |
12
12
| Діaкони да бывaютъ є3ди1ныz жены2 мyжіе, ч†да д0брэ прaвzще и3 сво‰ д0мы: | Let deacons be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. |
13
13
| For they that have served well as deacons gain to themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. |
14
14
©п7д7.) Сі‰ пишY тебЁ, ўповaz пріити2 къ тебЁ ск0рw: | These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly; |
15
15
| but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. |
16
16
| И# и3сповёдуемw вeліz є4сть бlгочeстіz тaйна: бGъ kви1сz во пlти, њправдaсz въ д©э, показaсz ѓгGлwмъ, проповёданъ бhсть во kзhцэхъ, вёровасz въ мjрэ, вознесeсz во слaвэ. | And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. |

| Д¦ъ же ћвственнэ гlетъ, ћкw въ послBднzz временA tстyпzтъ нёцыи t вёры, внeмлюще духовHмъ лeстчымъ и3 ўчeніємъ бэсHвскимъ, | But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, |
2
2
| въ лицемёріи лжесловє1сникъ, сожжeнныхъ своeю с0вэстію, | through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; |

| forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth. |
4
4
©п7е7.) ЗанE всsкое создaніе б9іе добро2, и3 ничт0же tмeтно, со благодарeніемъ пріeмлемо, | For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving: |
5
5
| for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer. |
6
6
| Сі‰ вс‰ сказyz брaтіи, д0бръ бyдеши служи1тель ї}са хrтA, питaемь словесы2 вёры и3 д0брымъ ўчeніемъ, є3мyже послёдовалъ є3си2. | If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed until now: |
7
7
| Сквeрныхъ же и3 бaбіихъ бaсней tрицaйсz, њбучaй же себE ко бlгочcтію: | but refuse profane and old wives’ fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness: |
8
8
| тэлeсное бо њбучeніе вмaлэ є4сть полeзно, ґ бlгочcтіе на всE полeзно є4сть, њбэтовaніе и3мёющее животA нн7эшнzгw и3 грzдyщагw. | for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come. |
9
9
| Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation. |
10

11
11
2. | These things command and teach. |
12
12

| Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. |
13
13
| Till I come, give heed to reading, to exhortation, to teaching. |
14
14
| Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. |

15
| Въ си1хъ поучaйсz, въ си1хъ пребывaй, (въ си1хъ разумэвaй,) да преспэsніе твоE kвлeно бyдетъ во всёхъ. | Be diligent in these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest unto all. |
