| Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the commandment of God our Savior, and the Lord Jesus Christ our hope; | (За? ©о7}.) Пavелъ, послaнникъ ї}съ хrт0въ по повелёнію бGа сп7са нaшегw и3 гDа ї}са хrтA ўповaніz нaшегw, |
2
2
| unto Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, peace, from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. | тімоfeю пrному чaду въ вёрэ: блгdть, млcть, ми1ръ t бGа nц7A нaшегw и3 хrтA ї}са гDа нaшегw. |
3
3
| As I exhorted thee to tarry at Ephesus, when I was going into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain men not to teach a different doctrine, | Ћкоже ўмоли1хъ тS пребhти во є3фeсэ, и3дhй въ макед0нію, да завэщaеши нBкимъ не и4накw ўчи1ти, |
4
4
| neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questionings, rather than a dispensation of God which is in faith; so do I now. | нижE внимaти бaснемъ и3 родосл0віємъ безконє1чнымъ, ±же стzз†ніz творsтъ пaче, нeжели б9іе строeніе, є4же въ вёрэ. |
5
5
| But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfeigned: | Конeцъ же завэщaніz є4сть любы2 t чи1ста сeрдца и3 с0вэсти бlгjz и3 вёры нелицемёрныz, |
6
6
| from which things some having swerved have turned aside unto vain talking; | въ ни1хже нёцыи погрэши1вше, ўклони1шасz въ суеслHвіz, |
7
7
| desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor whereof they confidently affirm. |
8
8
| But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully, | (За? ©о7f7.)
9
9
| as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, | вёдый сіE, ћкw првdнику зак0нъ не лежи1тъ [не положeнъ], но беззакHннымъ и3 непокори6вымъ, нечести6вымъ (же) и3 грёшникwмъ, непрaвєднымъ и3 сквє1рнымъ, nтцA и3 мaтере досади1телємъ, мужеубjйцамъ, |
10
10
| for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine; | блудникHмъ, мужел0жникwмъ, разб0йникwмъ, (клеветникHмъ, скотол0жникwмъ,) лжи6вымъ, клzтвопрестyпникwмъ, и3 ѓще что2 и4но здрaвому ўчeнію проти1витсz, |
11
11
| according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. |
12
12
| And I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service; | (За? ©п7.) И# благодарю2 ўкрэплsющаго мS хrтA ї}са гDа нaшего, ћкw вёрна мS непщевA, положи1въ (мS) въ слyжбу, |
13
13
| though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief; | бhвша мS и3ногдA хyлника и3 гони1телz и3 досади1телz: но поми1лованъ бhхъ, ћкw невёдый сотвори1хъ въ невёрствіи: |
14
14
| and the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. | ўпреумн0жисz же блгdть гDа нaшегw (ї}са хrтA) съ вёрою и3 люб0вію ћже њ хrтЁ ї}сэ. |
15
15
| Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief: | (За?.) |
16
16
| howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me as chief might Jesus Christ show forth all his long-suffering, for an example of them that should thereafter believe on him unto eternal life. |
17
17
| Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. |
18
18
| This charge I commit unto thee, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to thee, that by them thou mayest war the good warfare; | (За? ©п7№.)
19
19
| holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust from them made shipwreck concerning the faith: | и3мёz вёру и3 бlгyю с0вэсть, ю4же нёцыи tри1нувше, t вёры tпад0ша: |
20
20
| of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I delivered unto Satan, that they might be taught not to blaspheme. |

| I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men; | (За? ©п7в7.)
2
2
| for kings and all that are in high place; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity.
3
3
| For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; | сіe бо добро2 и3 пріsтно пред8 сп7си1телемъ нaшимъ бGомъ, |
4
4
| who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth. |
5
5
| For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus, | Е#ди1нъ бо є4сть бGъ, и3 є3ди1нъ ходaтай бGа и3 человёкwвъ, чlвёкъ хrт0съ ї}съ, |
6
6
| who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times; | дaвый себE и3збавлeніе за всёхъ: свидётелство времены2 свои1ми, |
7
7
| whereunto I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I lie not), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. |
8
8
| I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.
9
9
| In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly raiment; | тaкожде и3 жєны2 во ўкрашeніи лёпотнэмъ, со стыдёніемъ и3 цэломyдріемъ да ўкрашaютъ себE не въ плетeніихъ, ни злaтомъ, и3ли2 би1серми, и3ли2 ри1зами многоцёнными, |
10
10
| but (which becometh women professing godliness) through good works. | но, є4же подобaетъ женaмъ њбэщавaющымсz бlгочeстію, дёлы бlги1ми. |
11
11
| Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
12
12
| But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness. |
13
13
| For Adam was first formed, then Eve; | Ґдaмъ бо прeжде с0зданъ бhсть, пот0мъ же є4vа: |
14
14
| and Adam was not beguiled, but the woman being beguiled hath fallen into transgression: | и3 ґдaмъ не прельсти1сz, женa же прельсти1вшисz, въ преступлeніи бhсть: |
15
15
| but she shall be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with sobriety. |

Chapter 3

1
| Faithful is the saying, If a man seeketh the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. ©п7G.) |
2
2
| The bishop therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach; | Подобaетъ u5бо є3пjскопу бhти непор0чну, є3ди1ныz жены2 мyжу, трeзвену, цэломyдру, (благоговёйну,) чeстну, страннолюби1ву, ўчи1телну, |
3
3
| not given to wine, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but gentle, not contentious, no lover of money; | не піsницэ, не бjйцэ, не сварли1ву, не мшелои1мцу, но кр0тку, (не зави1стливу,) не сребролю1бцу, |
4
4
| one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; | св0й д0мъ д0брэ прaвzщу, ч†да и3мyщу въ послушaніи со всsкою чистот0ю [чeстностію]: |
5
5
| (but if a man knoweth not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6
6
| not a novice, lest being puffed up he fall into the condemnation of the devil. |
7
7
| Moreover he must have good testimony from them that are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. |
8
8
| Deacons in like manner must be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; | Діaконwмъ тaкожде чи6стымъ [чє1стнымъ], не двоzзы6чнымъ, не вінY мн0гу внимaющымъ, не скверностzжaтєлнымъ, |
9
9
| holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. |
10
10
| And let these also first be proved; then let them serve as deacons, if they be blameless. |
11
11
| Women in like manner must be grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. |
12
12
| Let deacons be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. | Діaкони да бывaютъ є3ди1ныz жены2 мyжіе, ч†да д0брэ прaвzще и3 сво‰ д0мы: |
13
13
| For they that have served well as deacons gain to themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. |
14
14
| These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly; | (За? ©п7д7.)
15
15
| but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. |
16
16
| And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. | И# и3сповёдуемw вeліz є4сть бlгочeстіz тaйна: бGъ kви1сz во пlти, њправдaсz въ д©э, показaсz ѓгGлwмъ, проповёданъ бhсть во kзhцэхъ, вёровасz въ мjрэ, вознесeсz во слaвэ. |
Chapter 4

1
| But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, | Д¦ъ же ћвственнэ гlетъ, ћкw въ послBднzz временA tстyпzтъ нёцыи t вёры, внeмлюще духовHмъ лeстчымъ и3 ўчeніємъ бэсHвскимъ, |
2
2
| through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; | въ лицемёріи лжесловє1сникъ, сожжeнныхъ своeю с0вэстію, |
3
3
| forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth. |
4
4
| For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving: | (За? ©п7е7.)
5
5
| for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer. |
6
6
| If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed until now: | Сі‰ вс‰ сказyz брaтіи, д0бръ бyдеши служи1тель ї}са хrтA, питaемь словесы2 вёры и3 д0брымъ ўчeніемъ, є3мyже послёдовалъ є3си2. |
7
7
| but refuse profane and old wives’ fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness: | Сквeрныхъ же и3 бaбіихъ бaсней tрицaйсz, њбучaй же себE ко бlгочcтію: |
8
8
| for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come. | тэлeсное бо њбучeніе вмaлэ є4сть полeзно, ґ бlгочcтіе на всE полeзно є4сть, њбэтовaніе и3мёющее животA нн7эшнzгw и3 грzдyщагw. |
9
9
| Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation. |
10
10
| For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of them that believe. | На сіe бо и3 труждaемсz и3 поношaеми є3смы2, ћкw ўповaхомъ на бGа жи1ва, и4же є4сть сп7си1тель всBмъ человёкwмъ, пaче же вBрнымъ. |
11
11
| These things command and teach. |
12
12
| Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. |
13
13
| Till I come, give heed to reading, to exhortation, to teaching. |
14
14
| Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. |
15
15
| Be diligent in these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest unto all. | Въ си1хъ поучaйсz, въ си1хъ пребывaй, (въ си1хъ разумэвaй,) да преспэsніе твоE kвлeно бyдетъ во всёхъ. |
16
16
| Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee. | Внимaй себЁ и3 ўчeнію и3 пребывaй въ ни1хъ: сі‰ бо творS, и3 сaмъ спасeшисz и3 послyшающіи тебє2. |
Chapter 5
Главa є7
1
1
| Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brethren: | (За? ©п7е7.) Стaрцу не твори2 пaкости, но ўтэшaй [стaрца не ўкорsй, но ўмолsй] ћкоже nтцA: ю4ношы, ћкоже брaтію: |
2
2
| the elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity. |
3
3
| Honor widows that are widows indeed. |
4
4
| But if any widow hath children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety toward their own family, and to requite their parents: for this is acceptable in the sight of God. |
5
5
| Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, hath her hope set on God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
6
6
| But she that giveth herself to pleasure is dead while she liveth. | питaющаzсz же прострaннw, живA ўмерлA. |
7
7
| These things also command, that they may be without reproach. |
8
8
| But if any provideth not for his own, and especially for those of his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. |
9
9
| Let none be enrolled as a widow under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man, | Вдови1ца же да причитaетсz не мeнши лётъ шести1десzтихъ, бhвши є3ди1ному мyжу женA, |
10
10
| well reported of for good works; if she hath brought up children, if she hath used hospitality to strangers, if she hath washed the saints’ feet, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work. |
11
11
| But younger widows refuse: for when they have waxed wanton against Christ, they desire to marry; | (За? ©п7ѕ7.) Ю$ныхъ же вдови1цъ tрицaйсz: є3гдa бо разсвирёпэютъ њ хrтЁ [проти1ву хrтA], посzгaти хотsтъ, |
12
12
| having condemnation, because they have rejected their first pledge.
13
13
| And withal they learn also to be idle, going about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. |

| I desire therefore that the younger widows marry, bear children, rule the household, give no occasion to the adversary for reviling: | ХощY u5бо ю4нымъ вдови1цамъ посzгaти, ч†да раждaти, д0мъ стр0ити, ни є3ди1ны же вины2 даsти проти1вному хулы2 рaди: |

| If any believing man or believing woman hath widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be burdened; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed. |

| Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching. | Прилэжaщіи же д0брэ пресвЂтери сугyбыz чeсти да сподоблsютсz: пaче же труждaющіисz въ сл0вэ и3 ўчeніи. |

| For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the grain. And, The laborer is worthy of his hire. |

| I charge thee in the sight of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality. |

Главa ѕ7

1
| Let as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and the doctrine be not blasphemed. |
2

| And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but let them serve them the rather, because they that partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. These things teach and exhort. | И#мyщіи же вёрныхъ госп0дій да не нерадsтъ њ ни1хъ, понeже брaтіz сyть: но пaче да раб0таютъ, занE вёрни сyть и3 возлю1блени, и5же благодaть воспріeмлющіи. |
3
3
| If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; | Ѓще ли кто2 и4накw ўчи1тъ и3 не приступaетъ къ здр†вымъ словесє1мъ гDа нaшегw ї}са хrтA и3 ўчeнію, є4же по бlговёрію, |

| constant friction of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain: from such withdraw thyself. Tступaй t таковhхъ. |
6
6
| But godliness with contentment is great gain: | Е$сть же снискaніе вeліе бlгочcтіе съ дов0лствомъ. |
7
7
| for we brought nothing into the world: it is evident that neither can we carry anything out; | Ничт0же бо внес0хомъ въ мjръ сeй: ћвэ, ћкw нижE и3знести2 что2 м0жемъ. |

9
9
| But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.
10
10
| For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. |
11
11
| But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12

12
| Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto thou wast called, and didst confess the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. |

| Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not high-minded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; | (За? ©п7f7.) Бог†тымъ въ нн7эшнемъ вёцэ запрещaй не высокомyдрствовати, нижE ўповaти на богaтство погибaющее, но на бGа жи1ва, даю1щаго нaмъ вс‰ nби1лнw въ наслаждeніе: |
