And Roboam son of Solomon ruled over Juda. Roboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in the city Jerusalem, which the Lord chose to put his name there out of all the tribes of Israel: and his mother's name was Naama the Ammonitess.

And Roboam did evil in the sight of the Lord; and he provoked him in all the things which their fathers did in their sins which they sinned.

И# речE їеровоaмъ къ женЁ своeй: востaни и3 и3змэни2 ри6зы сво‰, да не познaютъ, ћкw ты2 женA їеровоaмова, и3 и3ди2 въ силHмъ: сe бо, тaмw ґхjа прbр0къ: т0й глаг0ла мнЁ є4же цaрствовати над8 людьми2 си1ми:

And they built for themselves high places, and pillars, and planted groves on every high hill, and under every shady tree.
|
и3 возми2 въ рyцэ твои2 человёку б9ію дeсzть хлёбwвъ, и3 њпрэсн0ки чaдwмъ є3гw2, и3 гр0здіе и3 сосyдъ мeда, и3 и3ди2 къ немY: т0й возвэсти1тъ ти2, что2 бyдетъ nтрочaти.

And there was a conspiracy in the land, and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lord removed from before the children of Israel.

И# сотвори2 тaкw женA їеровоaмлz: и3 востA и3 и4де въ силHмъ, и3 вни1де въ д0мъ ґхjинъ: человёкъ же стaръ бsше є4же ви1дэти, и3 притупи1стасz џчи є3гw2 t стaрости є3гw2.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of the reign of Roboam, Susakim king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem;
|
И# речE гDь ко ґхjи: сE, женA їеровоaмова вх0дитъ вопрошaти тS њ сhнэ своeмъ, ћкw болёзнуетъ: по семY и3 по семY да глаг0леши къ нeй. И# бhсть внегдA вни1ти є4й, и3 nнA странноzвлsшесz.

and took all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house, and the golden spears which David took out of the hand of the sons of Adrazaar king of Suba, and brought them into Jerusalem, even all that he took, and the golden shields which Solomon had made, and carried them away into Egypt.

И# бhсть є3гдA ўслhша ґхjа шyмъ н0гъ є3S, входsщей є4й во вратA, и3 речE: вни1ди, жeно їеровоaмова, почто2 ты2 тaкw странноzвлsешисz; ѓзъ бо є4смь послaнникъ къ тебЁ жeстокъ:

And king Roboam made brazen shields instead of them; and the chiefs of the body guard, who kept the gate of the house of the king, were placed in charge over them.

шeдши рцы2 їеровоaму: сі‰ гlетъ гDь бGъ ї}левъ: понeже толи1кw вознес0хъ тS t среды2 людjй, и3 дaхъ тS вождA над8 людьми2 мои1ми ї}лемъ,

And it came to pass when the king went into the house of the Lord, that the body guard took them up, and fixed them in the chamber of the body guard.

и3 раздрaхъ цaрство t д0му давjдова, и3 дaхъ є5 тебЁ, тh же не бhлъ є3си2 ћкоже рaбъ м0й давjдъ, и4же сохрани2 зaпwвэди мо‰, и3 и4же хождaше в8слёдъ менє2 всёмъ сeрдцемъ свои1мъ, є4же твори1ти всsкую правотY пред8 nчи1ма мои1ма,

And the rest of the history of Roboam, and all that he did, behold, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?

и3 и3злукaвствовалъ є3си2, є4же твори1ти пaче всёхъ є3ли1цы бhша пред8 лицeмъ твои1мъ, и3 пошeлъ є3си2 и3 сотвори1лъ є3си2 себЁ б0ги ч{жды и3 слі‰ны, є4же раздражи1ти мS, и3 tвeрглъ мS є3си2 назaдъ себє2:

And there was war between Roboam and Jeroboam continually.

сегw2 рaди сE, ѓзъ навождY ѕл†z на д0мъ їеровоaмовъ, и3 потреблю2 їеровоaмлz мочaщаго къ стэнЁ, держaщагосz и3 њстaвленаго во ї}ли, и3 и3стреблю2 д0мъ їеровоaмовъ, ћкоже и3стреблsетсz гн0й, д0ндеже скончaтисz є3мY:

And Roboam slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Abiu his son reigned in his stead.

ўмeршихъ їеровоaмлихъ во грaдэ снэдsтъ пси2, и3 ўмeршаго на селЁ снэдsтъ пти6цы небє1сныz, ћкw гDь гlа:
