|
And it came to pass when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.
|
И бы́сть єгда́ состарѣ́ся самуи́лъ, и поста́ви сы́ны своя́ суди́ти Ізра́илеви.
|
|

|
And these are the names of his sons; Joel the first-born, and the name of the second Abia, judges in Bersabee.
|
И сія́ имена́ сыно́мъ єго́: пе́рвенецъ Іои́ль, и и́мя второ́му Аві́а, судіи́ въ вирсаве́и.
|

|
And his sons did not walk in his way; and they turned aside after gain, and took gifts, and perverted judgments.
|
И не поидо́ша сы́нове єго́ путе́мъ єго́: и уклони́шася вслѣ́дъ лихоима́нія, и пріима́ху да́ры, и развраща́ху суды́.
|

|
And the men of Israel gather themselves together, and come to Armathaim to Samuel,
|
И собра́шася му́жіє Ізра́илевы, и пріидо́ша къ самуи́лу во Армаѳе́мъ
|
|

|
and they said to him, Behold, thou art grown old, and thy sons walk not in thy way; and now set over us a king to judge us, as also the other nations have.
|
и рѣ́ша єму́: се́, ты́ состарѣ́лся єси́, сы́нове же твои́ не хо́дятъ по пути́ твоєму́: и ны́нѣ поста́ви надъ на́ми царя́, да су́дитъ ны́, я́коже и про́чіи язы́ки.

And the thing was evil in the eyes of Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us: and Samuel prayed to the Lord.
|
И бы́сть лука́въ глаго́лъ предъ очи́ма самуи́ловыма, я́ко рѣ́ша: да́ждь на́мъ царя́, да су́дитъ ны́. И помоли́ся самуи́лъ ко Го́споду.
|

|
And the Lord said to Samuel, Hear the voice of the people, in whatever they shall say to thee; for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me from reigning over them.
|
И рече́ Госпо́дь самуи́лу: послу́шай гла́са люді́й, я́коже глаго́лютъ къ тебѣ́, я́ко не тебе́ уничижи́ша, но мене́ уничижи́ша, є́же не ца́рствовати ми́ надъ ни́ми:
|

According to all their doings which they have done to me, from the day that I brought them out of Egypt until this day, even as they have deserted me, and served other gods, so they do also to thee.
|
по всѣ́мъ дѣло́мъ, я́же сотвори́ша ми́, от него́же дне́ изведо́хъ и́хъ изъ земли́ Єги́петски до дне́шняго дне́, и оста́виша мя́, и послужи́ша бого́мъ ины́мъ, та́ко ті́и творя́тъ и тебѣ́:

And now hearken to their voice; only thou shalt solemnly testify to them, and thou shalt describe to them the manner of the king who shall reign over them.
|
и ны́нѣ послу́шай гла́са и́хъ: оба́че засвидѣ́телствуя засвидѣ́телствуєши и́мъ и возвѣсти́ши и́мъ пра́вду царе́ву, и́же ца́рствовати бу́детъ надъ ни́ми.

And Samuel spoke every word of the Lord to the people who asked of him a king.
|
И рече́ самуи́лъ вся́ словеса́ Госпо́дня къ лю́демъ прося́щымъ от него́ царя́,
|

|
And he said, This shall be the manner of the king that shall rule over you: he shall take your sons, and put them in his chariots, and among his horsemen, and running before his chariots,
|
и глаго́ла [и́мъ]: сіє́ бу́детъ оправда́ніє царе́во, и́же ца́рствовати и́мать надъ ва́ми: сы́ны ва́шя во́зметъ и поста́витъ я́ колесни́чники своя́, и на ко́ни вса́дитъ и́хъ, и предтеку́щихъ предъ колесни́цами єго́:

|
and his manner shall be to make them to himself captains of hundreds and captains of thousands; and to reap his harvest, and gather his vintage, and prepare his instruments of war, and the implements of his chariots.
|
и поста́витъ я́ себѣ́ со́тники и ты́сящники и жа́телми жа́твы своєя́, и объи́мутъ объима́ніємъ гро́здія єго́, и твори́ти ору́дія во́инская єго́ и ору́дія колесни́цъ єго́:
|

|
And he will take your daughters to be perfumers, and cooks, and bakers.
|
и дще́ри ва́шя во́зметъ въ мирова́рницы и въ пова́рницы и въ хлѣ́бницы:
|
|

|
|
And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your good oliveyards, and give them to his servants.
|
и се́ла ва́ша и віногра́ды ва́шя и ма́сличины ва́шя благі́я во́зметъ и да́стъ рабо́мъ свои́мъ:
|
|

|
|
And he will take the tithe of your seeds and your vineyards, and give it to his eunuchs, and to his servants.
|
и сѣ́мена ва́ша и віногра́ды ва́шя одеся́тствуєтъ и да́стъ скопце́мъ свои́мъ и рабо́мъ свои́мъ:
|

|
And he will take your servants, and your handmaids, and your good herds and your asses, and will take the tenth of them for his works.
|
и рабы́ ва́шя и рабы́ни ва́шя и стада́ ва́ша блага́я и ослы́ ва́шя отъи́метъ и одеся́тствуєтъ на дѣла́ своя́:

|
And he will tithe your flocks; and ye shall be his servants.
|
и па́жити ва́шя одеся́тствуєтъ, и вы́ бу́дете єму́ раби́:
|
|

|
|
And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king whom ye have chosen to yourselves, and the Lord shall not hear you in those days, because ye have chosen to yourselves a king.
|
и возопіє́те въ де́нь о́нъ от лица́ царя́ ва́шего, єго́же избра́сте себѣ́, и не услы́шитъ ва́съ Госпо́дь въ де́нь о́нъ, я́ко вы́ са́ми избра́сте себѣ́ царя́.

|
But the people would not hearken to Samuel; and they said to him, Nay, but there shall be a king over us.
|
И не восхотѣ́ша лю́діє послу́шати самуи́ла и рѣ́ша єму́: ни́, но ца́рь да бу́детъ надъ на́ми,
|
|

|
|
And we also will be like all the nations; and our king shall judge us, and shall go out before us, and fight our battles.
|
и бу́демъ и мы́ я́коже вси́ язы́цы: и суди́ти и́мать на́съ ца́рь на́шъ, и изы́детъ предъ на́ми, и побо́ретъ поборе́ніємъ о на́съ.

|
And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and spoke them in the ears of the Lord.
|
И слы́ша самуи́лъ вся́ глаго́лы люді́й и глаго́ла я́ во у́шы Го́сподеви.
|

|
And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken to their voice, and appoint them a king. And Samuel said to the men of Israel, Let each man depart to his city.
|
И рече́ Госпо́дь къ самуи́лу: послу́шай гла́са и́хъ, и поста́ви и́мъ царя́. И рече́ самуи́лъ къ муже́мъ Ізра́илевымъ: да и́детъ кі́йждо ва́съ во сво́й гра́дъ.
