1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, according to the promise of the life which is in Christ Jesus, (За? ©§.)
2
2
to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. тімоfeю возлю1бленному чaду: блгdть, млcть, ми1ръ t бGа nц7A и3 хrтA ї}са гDа нaшегw.
3
3
I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers in a pure conscience, how unceasing is my remembrance of thee in my supplications, night and day (За?.)
4
4
longing to see thee, remembering thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; желaz ви1дэти тS, поминaz слeзы тво‰, да рaдости и3сп0лнюсz,
5
5
being reminded of the unfeigned faith that is in thee; which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and, I am persuaded, in thee also. воспоминaніе пріeмлz њ сyщей въ тебЁ нелицемёрнэй вёрэ, ћже всели1сz прeжде въ бaбу твою2 лwjду и3 въ мaтерь твою2 є3vнікjю: и3звёстенъ же є4смь, ћкw и3 въ тебE.
6
6
For which cause I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee through the laying on of my hands. Е#sже рaди вины2 воспоминaю тебЁ возгрэвaти дaръ б9ій живyщій въ тебЁ возложeніемъ рукY моє1ю:
7
7
For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline. не бо2 дадE нaмъ бGъ дyха стрaха, но си1лы и3 любвE и3 цэломdріz.
8
8
Be not ashamed therefore of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but suffer hardship with the gospel according to the power of God; (За? ©§№.) Не постыди1сz u5бо стrтію [свидётелствомъ] гDа нaшегw ї}са хrтA, ни мн0ю ю4зникомъ є3гw2: но спостражди2 бlговэствовaнію (хrт0ву) по си1лэ бGа,
9
9
who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal, спcшагw нaсъ и3 призвaвшагw звaніемъ с™hмъ, не по дэлHмъ нaшымъ, но по своемY бlговолeнію [предложeнію] и3 блгdти дaннэй нaмъ њ хrтЁ ї}сэ прeжде лётъ вёчныхъ,
10
10
but hath now been manifested by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, ћвльшейсz же нн7э просвэщeніемъ сп7си1телz нaшегw ї}са хrтA, разруши1вшагw ќбw смeрть и3 возсіsвшагw жи1знь и3 нетлёніе бlговэствовaніемъ,
11
11
whereunto I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
12
12
For which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed unto him against that day.
13
13
Hold the pattern of sound words which thou hast heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
14
14
That good thing which was committed unto thee guard through the Holy Spirit which dwelleth in us.
15
15
This thou knowest, that all that are in Asia turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
16
16
The Lord grant mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus: for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; Да дaстъ (же) млcть гDь nнисjфорову д0му, ћкw мн0гажды мS ўпок0и и3 вери1гъ мои1хъ не постыдёсz,
17
17
but, when he was in Rome, he sought me very diligently, and found me но пришeдъ въ ри1мъ, т0щнэе взыскa мz и3 њбрёте:
18
18
(the Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day); and in how many things he ministered at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
Chapter 2
Главa в7
1
1
Thou therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. ©§в7.)
2
2
And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3
3
Thou therefore suffer hardship, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4
4
No soldier on service entangleth himself in the affairs of this life; that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
5
5
And if also a man contend in the games, he is not crowned, except he have contended lawfully. Ѓще же и3 пострaждетъ [подвизaетсz] кто2, не вэнчaетсz, ѓще не зак0ннw мyченъ бyдетъ [бyдетъ подвизaтисz].
6
6
The husbandman that laboreth must be the first to partake of the fruits. Труждaющемусz дёлателю прeжде подобaетъ t плодA вкуси1ти.
7
7
Consider what I say; may the Lord indeed give thee understanding in all things.
8
8
Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel: Поминaй (гDа) ї}са хrтA востaвшаго t мeртвыхъ, t сёмене дв7дова, по бlговэствовaнію моемY,
9
9
wherein I suffer hardship unto bonds, as a malefactor; but the word of God is not bound.
10
10
Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Сегw2 рaди вс‰ терплю2 и3збрaнныхъ рaди, да и3 тjи спcніе ўлучaтъ є4же њ хrтЁ ї}сэ, со слaвою вёчною.
11
11
Faithful is the saying: For if we died with him, we shall also live with him: (За? ©§G.)
12
12
if we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: ѓще терпи1мъ, съ ни1мъ и3 воцRи1мсz: ѓще tвeржемсz, и3 т0й tвeржетсz нaсъ:
13
13
if we are faithless, he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14
14
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they strive not about words, to no profit, to the subverting of them that hear.
15
15
Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth. Потщи1сz себE и3скyсна постaвити пред8 бGомъ, дёлателz непостhдна, прaвw прaвzща сл0во и4стины.
16
16
But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness, Сквeрныхъ же тщеглaсій tметaйсz: наипaче бо преспёютъ въ нечeстіе,
17
17
and their word will eat as doth a gangrene: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; и3 сл0во и4хъ ћкw гaггрена жи1ръ њбрsщетъ: t ни1хже є4сть v3менeй и3 філи1тъ,
18
18
men who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some.
19
19
Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let everyone that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness. Твeрдое u5бо њсновaніе б9іе стои1тъ, и3мyщее печaть сію2: познA гDь сyщыz сво‰, и3: да tстyпитъ t непрaвды всsкъ и3менyzй и4мz гDне.
20
20
Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor. ©§д7.)
21
21
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, prepared unto every good work.
22
22
But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23
23
But foolish and ignorant questionings refuse, knowing that they gender strifes. Бyихъ же и3 ненакaзанныхъ стzзaній tрицaйсz, вёдый, ћкw раждaютъ св†ры:
24
24
And the Lord’s servant must not strive, but be gentle toward all, apt to teach, forbearing, рабy же гDню не подобaетъ свари1тисz, но ти1ху бhти ко всBмъ, ўчи1телну, неѕл0биву,
25
25
in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth, съ кр0тостію наказyющу проти6вныz, є3дA кaкw дaстъ и5мъ бGъ покаsніе въ рaзумъ и4стины,
26
26
and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him unto his will.

1
But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. ©§е7.)
2
2
For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Бyдутъ бо человёцы самолю1бцы, сребролю1бцы, величaви, г0рди, х{лницы, роди1телємъ проти1вzщіисz, неблагодaрни, непрaведни, нелюб0вни,
3
3
without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, непримири1телни, (продeрзиви, возносли1ви, прелагaтає,) клеветницы2, невоздє1ржницы, некр0тцы, неблаголю1бцы,
4
4
traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; предaтелє, нaгли, напыщeни, сластолю1бцы пaче нeжели бGолю1бцы,
5
5
holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
6
6
For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by diverse lusts, T си1хъ бо сyть понырsющіи въ д0мы и3 плэнsющіи жени6шца њтzгощє1нныz грэхaми, води6мыz п0хотьми разли1чными,
7
7
ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. всегдA ўчaщzсz и3 николи1же въ рaзумъ и4стины пріити2 могyщыz.
8
8
And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth; men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith.
9
9
But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.
10
10
But thou hast followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, patience, (За? ©§ѕ7.)
11
11
persecutions, sufferings; what things befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: and out of them all the Lord delivered me. и3згнaніємъ, страдaніємъ, kков† ми2 бhша во ґнтіохjи, (и3) во їконjи, (и3) въ лЂстрэхъ: kков† и3згн†ніz пріsхъ, и3 t всёхъ мS и3збaвилъ є4сть гDь.
12
12
Yea, and all that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13
13
But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14
14
But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; Тh же пребывaй въ ни1хже научeнъ є3си2 и3 ±же ввёрєна сyть тебЁ, вёдый, t когw2 научи1лсz є3си2:
15
15
and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16
16
Every scripture is inspired of God, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: (За? ©§з7.) Всsко писaніе бGодухновeнно и3 полeзно (є4сть) ко ўчeнію, ко њбличeнію, ко и3справлeнію, къ наказaнію є4же въ прaвдэ,
17
17
that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
Chapter 4
Главa д7
1
1
I charge thee therefore in the sight of God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom: Засвидётелствую u5бо ѓзъ пред8 бGомъ и3 гDемъ нaшимъ ї}съ хrт0мъ, хотsщимъ суди1ти живы6мъ и3 мє1ртвымъ въ kвлeніи є3гw2 и3 цrтвіи є3гw2:
2
2
preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.
3
3
For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts; Бyдетъ бо врeмz, є3гдA здрaвагw ўчeніz не послyшаютъ, но по свои1хъ п0хотехъ и3зберyтъ себЁ ўчи6тели, чeшеми слyхомъ:
4
4
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.
5
5
But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry. ©§}.)
6
6
For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come. Ѓзъ бо ўжE жрeнъ бывaю, и3 врeмz моегw2 tшeствіz настA:
7
7
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: п0двигомъ д0брымъ подвизaхсz, течeніе скончaхъ, вёру соблюд0хъ:
8
8
henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing. пр0чее u5бо соблюдaетсz мнЁ вэнeцъ прaвды, є3г0же воздaстъ ми2 гDь въ дeнь w4нъ, првdный судіS: не т0кмw же мнЁ, но и3 всBмъ возлю1бльшымъ kвлeніе є3гw2.
9
9
Give diligence to come shortly unto me: (За? ©§f7.)
10
10
for Demas forsook me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.
11
11
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee; for he is useful to me for ministering.
12
12
But Tychicus I sent to Ephesus.
13
13
The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, bring when thou comest, and the books, especially the parchments. Фел0нъ, є3г0же њстaвихъ въ трwaдэ ў кaрпа, грzдhй принеси2, и3 кни6ги, пaче же кHжаныz.
14
14
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord render to him according to his works: Ґлеxaндръ ковaчь мнHга ми2 ѕл† сотвори2: да воздaстъ є3мY гDь по дэлHмъ є3гw2:
15
15
of whom do thou also beware; for he hath greatly withstood our words. t негHже и3 ты2 себE блюди2, ѕэлH бо проти1витсz словесє1мъ нaшымъ.
16
16
At my first defense no one took my part, but all forsook me: may it not be laid to their account.
17
17
But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18
18
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. И# и3збaвитъ мS гDь t всsкагw дёла лукaва и3 сп7сeтъ во цrтвіе своE нбcное: є3мyже слaва во вёки вэкHвъ.
19
19
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
20
20
Erastus remained at Corinth: but Trophimus I left at Miletus sick. Е#рaстъ њстA въ корjнfэ: трофjма же њстaвихъ въ міли1тэ болsща.
21
21
Give diligence to come before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22
22
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
