| Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints that are in the whole of Achaia: | (За? R…з7.) Пavелъ, послaнникъ ї}съ хrт0въ в0лею б9іею, и3 тімоfeй брaтъ, цRкви б9іей сyщей въ корjнfэ, со с™hми всёми сyщими во всeй ґхaіи: |
2
2
| Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. | блгdть вaмъ и3 ми1ръ t бGа nц7A нaшегw, и3 гDа ї}са хrтA. |
3
3
| Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; | (За?.) Блгcвeнъ бGъ и3 nц7ъ гDа нaшегw ї}са хrтA, nц7ъ щедр0тъ и3 бGъ всsкіz ўтёхи, |
4
4
| who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. | ўтэшazй нaсъ њ всsцэй ск0рби нaшей, ћкw возмощи2 нaмъ ўтёшити сyщыz во всsцэй ск0рби, ўтэшeніемъ, и4мже ўтэшaемсz сaми t бGа. |
5
5
| For as the sufferings of Christ abound unto us, even so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ. | ЗанE ћкоже и3збhточествуютъ страд†ніz хrтHва въ нaсъ, тaкw хrт0мъ и3збhточествуетъ и3 ўтэшeніе нaше. |
6
6
| But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, which worketh in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; and our hope for you is steadfast: or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation; | Ѓще ли же скорби1мъ, њ вaшемъ ўтэшeніи и3 спcніи, дёйствующемсz въ терпёніи тёхже страдaній, ±же и3 мы2 стрaждемъ: |
7
7
| knowing that, as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also are ye of the comfort. | и3 ўповaніе нaше и3звёстно њ вaсъ. Ѓще ли ўтэшaемсz, њ вaшемъ ўтэшeніи и3 спcніи, вёдzще, занE ћкоже w4бщницы є3стE страстeмъ нaшымъ, тaкожде и3 ўтэшeнію. |
8
8
| For we would not have you ignorant, brethren, of our affliction which befell us in Asia, that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, insomuch that we despaired even of life: | (За? R…}.) Не бо2 х0щемъ вaсъ, брaтіе, не вёдэти њ ск0рби нaшей бhвшей нaмъ во ґсjи, ћкw по премн0гу (и3) пaче си1лы њтzготи1хомсz, ћкw не надёzтисz нaмъ и3 жи1ти. |
9
9
| yea, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead: | Но сaми въ себЁ њсуждeніе смeрти и3мёхомъ, да не надёющесz бyдемъ на сS, но на бGа возставлsющаго мє1ртвыz, |
10
10
| who delivered us out of so great a death, and doth deliver: on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us; | и4же t толи1кіz смeрти и3збaвилъ ны2 є4сть и3 и3збавлsетъ, нaньже и3 ўповaхомъ, ћкw и3 є3щE и3збaвитъ, |
11
11
| ye also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed upon us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf. | споспэшествyющымъ и3 вaмъ по нaсъ моли1твою, да t мн0гихъ ли1цъ, є4же въ нaсъ даровaніе, мн0гими благодари1тсz њ вaсъ [въ нёкіихъ: њ нaсъ]. |
12
12
| For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. R…f7.) Похвалeніе бо нaше сіE є4сть, свидётелство с0вэсти нaшеz, ћкw въ простотЁ и3 чтcотЁ б9іей, (ґ) не въ мyдрости пл0ти, но блгdтію б9іею жи1хомъ въ мjрэ, мн0жае же ў вaсъ. |
13
13
| For we write no other things unto you, than what ye read or even acknowledge, and I hope ye will acknowledge even unto the end: | Не и3н†z бо пи1шемъ вaмъ, но ±же чтетE и3 разумэвaете: ўповaю же, ћкw и3 до концA ўразумёете, |
14
14
| as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that we are your glorying, even as ye also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus. | ћкоже и3 разумёсте нaсъ t чaсти, ћкw похвалeніе вaмъ є3смы2, ћкоже и3 вы2 нaмъ, въ дeнь гDа нaшегw ї}са хrтA. |
15
15
| And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; | И# си1мъ ўповaніемъ хотёхъ къ вaмъ пріити2 прeжде, да вторyю блгdть и4мате, |
16
16
| and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come unto you, and of you to be set forward on my journey unto Judea. | и3 вaми проити2 въ макед0нію, и3 пaки t макед0ніи пріити2 къ вaмъ, и3 вaми проводи1тисz во їудeю. |
17
17
| When I therefore purposed thus, did I show fickleness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the yea yea and the nay nay? | Сіe же хотS, є3дA что2 ќбw легкот0ю дёzхъ; И#ли2 ±же совэщавaю, по пл0ти совэщавaю, да бyдетъ ў менє2 є4же є4й, є4й, и3 є4же ни2, ни2. |
18
18
| But as God is faithful, our word toward you was not yea and nay. |
19
19
| For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea. | И$бо б9ій сн7ъ ї}съ хrт0съ, и4же ў вaсъ нaми проповёданный, мн0ю и3 сілуaномъ и3 тімоfeемъ, не бhсть є4й и3 ни2, но въ нeмъ самёмъ є4й бhсть: |
20
20
| For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea, and in him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us. | є3ли6ка бо њбэтwвaніz б9іz, въ т0мъ є4й и3 въ т0мъ ґми1нь: бGу къ слaвэ нaми. |
21
21
| Now he that establisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God; | (За? Rо7.) И#звэствyzй же нaсъ съ вaми во хrтA и3 помaзавый нaсъ, бGъ, |
22
22
| who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. |
23
23
| But I call God for a witness upon my soul, that to spare you I forbare to come unto Corinth. | Ѓзъ же свидётелz бGа призывaю на мою2 дyшу, ћкw щадS вaсъ, ктомY не пріид0хъ въ корjнfъ, |
24
24
| Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for in faith ye stand fast. | не ћкw њбладaемъ вёрою вaшею, но (ћкw) споспBшницы є3смы2 вaшей рaдости: вёрою бо стоитE. |
Chapter 2

| But I determined this for myself, that I would not come again to you with sorrow. |
2
2
| For if I make you sorry, who then is he that maketh me glad but he that is made sorry by me?
3
3
| And I wrote this very thing unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. | И# писaхъ вaмъ сіE и4стое, да не пришeдъ ск0рбь на ск0рбь пріимY, њ ни1хже подобaше ми2 рaдоватисz, надёzсz на вс‰ вы2, ћкw (За? Rо7№.) моS рaдость всёхъ вaсъ є4сть. |
4
4
| For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be made sorry, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. | T печaли бо мн0гіz и3 туги2 сeрдца написaхъ вaмъ мн0гими слезaми, не ћкw да њскорби1тесz, но люб0вь да познaете, ю4же и4мамъ и3з8oби1лнw къ вaмъ. |
5
5
| But if any hath caused sorrow, he hath caused sorrow, not to me, but in part (that I press not too heavily) to you all. |
6
6
| Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the many; | Дов0лно (бо) таков0му запрещeніе сіE, є4же t мн0гихъ: |
7
7
| so that contrariwise ye should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his overmuch sorrow. | тёмже сопроти1вное пaче вы2 да дaруете и3 ўтёшите, да не кaкw мн0гою ск0рбію пожeртъ бyдетъ таковhй: |
8
8
| Wherefore I beseech you to confirm your love toward him. |
9
9
| For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye are obedient in all things. |
10
10
| But to whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also: for I also, if I have forgiven anything, to whom I have forgiven it, for your sakes have I forgiven it in the presence of Christ; | Е#мyже ѓще что2 дaруете, и3 ѓзъ: и4бо ѓзъ ѓще что2 даровaхъ, є3мyже даровaхъ, вaсъ рaди, њ лицы2 ї}съ хrт0вэ, |
11
11
| that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices. |
12
12
| Now when I came to Troas for the gospel of Christ, and when a door was opened unto me in the Lord, | Пришeдъ же въ трwaду во бlговёстіе хrт0во, и3 двeри tвeрзенэ ми2 бhвшей њ гDэ, |
13
13
| I had no relief for my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went forth into Macedonia. |
14
14
| But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place. Rо7в7.) БGу же бlгодарeніе, всегдA побэди1тєли нaсъ творsщему њ хrтЁ ї}сэ и3 воню2 рaзума є3гw2 kвлsющу нaми во всsцэмъ мёстэ. |
15
15
| For we are a sweet savor of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, and in them that perish; | Ћкw хrт0во бlгоухaніе є3смы2 бGови въ спасaемыхъ и3 въ погибaющихъ. |
16
16
| to the one a savor of death unto death; to the other a savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17
17
| For we are not as the rest, corrupting the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ. |
Chapter 3
Главa G

1
| Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? unless we need, as do some, epistles of commendation to you or epistles of commendation from you? | Зачинaемъ ли пaки нaсъ самёхъ и3звэщавaти вaмъ; И#ли2 трeбуемъ, ћкоже нёцыи, и3звэщавaтелныхъ послaній къ вaмъ, и3ли2 t вaсъ и3звэсти1телныхъ; |
2
2
| Ye are our epistle, written in our hearts, known and read of all men; | Послaніе (бо) нaше вы2 є3стE, напи1саное въ сердцaхъ нaшихъ, знaемое и3 прочитaемое t всёхъ человBкъ: |
3
3
| being made manifest that ye are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in tables that are hearts of flesh. | kвлsеми, ћкw є3стE послaніе хrт0во слyженое нaми, напи1сано не черни1ломъ, но д¦омъ бGа жи1ва, не на скрижaлехъ кaменныхъ, но на скрижaлехъ сeрдца пл0тzныхъ. |
4
4
| And such confidence have we through Christ to God-ward: | (За? Rо7G.)
5
5
| not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God; | не ћкw дов0лни є3смы2 t себє2 помhслити что2, ћкw t себє2, но дов0лство нaше t бGа: |
6
6
| who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. |
7
7
| But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which glory was passing away: | Ѓще ли служeніе смeрти писмены2, њбразовaно въ кaменехъ, бhсть въ слaву, ћкw не мощи2 взирaти сынHмъ ї}лєвымъ на лицE мwmсeово, слaвы рaди лицA є3гw2 престаю1щіz: |
8
8
| how shall not rather the ministration of the spirit be with glory? | кaкw не мн0жае пaче служeніе дyха бyдетъ въ слaвэ; |
9
9
| For if the ministration of condemnation is glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. | Ѓще бо служeніе њсуждeніz, слaва, мн0гw пaче и3збhточествуетъ служeніе прaвды въ слaвэ. |
10
10
| For verily that which hath been made glorious hath not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasseth. | И$бо не прослaвисz прослaвленное въ чaсти сeй, за превосходsщую слaву. |
11
11
| For if that which passeth away was with glory, much more that which remaineth is in glory. | Ѓще бо престаю1щее, слaвою: мн0гw пaче пребывaющее, въ слaвэ. |
12
12
| Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech, | (За? Rо7д7.)
13
13
| and are not as Moses, who put a veil upon his own face, that the children of Israel should not look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away: | и3 не ћкоже мwmсeй полагaше покрывaло на лицы2 своeмъ, за є4же не мощи2 взирaти сынHмъ ї}лєвымъ на конeцъ престаю1щагw. |
14
14
| but their minds were hardened: for until this day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth unlifted, for it is done away in Christ. | Но њслэпи1шасz помышлє1ніz и4хъ: дaже бо до сегw2 днE т0жде покрывaло во чтeніи вeтхагw завёта пребывaетъ не tкровeно, занE њ хrтЁ престаeтъ. |
15
15
| But unto this day, when Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart. | Но дaже до днeсь, внегдA чтeтсz мwmсeй, покрывaло на сeрдцэ и4хъ лежи1тъ: |
16
16
| But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away. | внегдa же њбратsтсz ко гDу, взимaетсz покрывaло. |
17
17
| Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. |
18
18
| But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. | Мh же вси2 tкровeннымъ лицeмъ слaву гDню взирaюще, въ т0йже w4бразъ преwбразyемсz t слaвы въ слaву, ћкоже t гDнz д¦а. |

| Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we faint not: | (За? Rо7е7.)
2
2
| but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. | но tрек0хомсz тaйныхъ срaма, не въ лукaвствіи ходsще, ни льстsще словесE б9іz, но kвлeніемъ и4стины представлsюще себE ко всsцэй с0вэсти человёчестэй, пред8 бGомъ. |
3
3
| And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish: | Ѓще ли же є4сть покровeно бlговэствовaніе нaше, въ ги1бнущихъ є4сть покровeно, |
4
4
| in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them. | въ ни1хже б0гъ вёка сегw2 њслэпи2 рaзумы невёрныхъ, во є4же не возсіsти и5мъ свёту бlговэствовaніz слaвы хrт0вы, и4же є4сть w4бразъ бGа неви1димагw. |
5
5
| For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. | Не себe бо проповёдаемъ, но хrтA ї}са гDа: себe же самёхъ рабHвъ вaмъ ї}са (гDа) рaди: |
6
6
| Seeing it is God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Rо7ѕ7.) ћкw бGъ рекjй и3з8 тмы2 свёту возсіsти, и4же возсіS въ сердцaхъ нaшихъ, къ просвэщeнію рaзума слaвы б9іz њ лицы2 ї}съ хrт0вэ. |
7
7
| But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves; | И$мамы же сокр0вище сіE въ скудeльныхъ сосyдэхъ, да премн0жество си1лы бyдетъ б9іz, ґ не t нaсъ: |
8
8
| we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair; | во всeмъ скорбsще, но не стужaюще си2: нечaеми, но не tчаzвaеми: |
9
9
| pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed; | гони1ми, но не њставлsеми: низлагaеми, но не погибaюще: |
10
10
| always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body. |
11
11
| For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12
12
| So then death worketh in us, but life in you. |
13
13
| But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak; | (За? Rо7з7.)
14
14
| knowing that he that raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also through Jesus, and shall present us with you. | вёдzще, ћкw воздви1гій гDа ї}са, и3 нaсъ со ї}сомъ воздви1гнетъ, и3 предпостaвитъ съ вaми. |
15
15
| For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound unto the glory of God. | Вс‰ бо вaсъ рaди, да блгdть ўмн0жившаzсz, мн0жайшими благодарє1ніи и3збhточествитъ въ слaву б9ію. |
16
16
| Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. | Тёмже не стужaемъ си2: но ѓще и3 внёшній нaшъ человёкъ тлёетъ, nбaче внyтренній њбновлsетсz по вс‰ дни6. |
17

| For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; | Е$же бо нн7э лeгкое печaли нaшеz, по преумножeнію въ преспёzніе тzготY вёчныz слaвы содёловаетъ нaмъ, |

Chapter 5

| For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens. Rо7}.) Вёмы бо, ћкw ѓще земнaz нaша хрaмина тёла разори1тсz, создaніе t бGа и4мамы, хрaмину нерукотворeну, вёчну на нб7сёхъ. |
2
2
| For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven: | И$бо њ сeмъ воздыхaемъ, въ жили1ще нaше нбcное њблещи1сz желaюще: |
3
3
| if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. |
4
4
| For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life. |
5
5
| Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who also gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit. |
6
6
| Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord | Дерзaюще u5бо всегдA и3 вёдzще, ћкw живyще въ тёлэ tх0димъ t гDа: |
7
7
| (for we walk by faith, not by sight); | вёрою бо х0димъ, ґ не видёніемъ: |
8
8
| we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
9
9
| Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
10
10
| For we must all be made manifest before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or evil. Rо7f7.) |
11
11
| Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences. | Вёдуще u5бо стрaхъ гDень, человёки ўвэщавaемъ, бGови же kвлeни є3смы2: ўповaемъ же, ћкw и3 въ с0вэстехъ вaшихъ kвлeни є3смы2. |
12
12
| For we are not again commending ourselves unto you, but speak as giving you occasion of glorying on our behalf, that ye may have wherewith to answer them that glory in appearance, and not in heart. | Не пaки бо себE хвaлимъ пред8 вaми, но винY даeмъ вaмъ похвалeнію њ нaсъ, да и4мате къ хвалsщымсz въ лицы2, ґ не въ сeрдцы. |
13
13
| For whether we are beside ourselves, it is unto God; or whether we are of sober mind, it is unto you. |
14
14
| For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then all died; | И$бо любы2 б9іz њбдержи1тъ нaсъ сyждшихъ сіE: ћкw ѓще є3ди1нъ за всёхъ ќмре, то2 ќбw вси2 ўмр0ша. |
15
15
| and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again. Rп7.) |
16
16
| Wherefore we henceforth know no man after the flesh: and even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more. |
17
17
| Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. | Тёмже ѓще кто2 во хrтЁ, новA твaрь: дрє1внzz мимоид0ша, сE бhша вс‰ нwвA: |
18
18
| But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; | всsчєскаz же t бGа, примири1вшагw нaсъ себЁ ї}съ хrт0мъ и3 дaвшагw нaмъ служeніе примирeніz: |
19
19
| to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. |
20
20
| We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God. |
21
21
| For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him. | Не вёдэвшаго бо грэхA по нaсъ грёхъ сотвори2, да мы2 бyдемъ прaвда б9іz њ нeмъ. |

| Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction. | Мн0го ми2 дерзновeніе къ вaмъ, мн0га ми2 похвалA њ вaсъ: и3сп0лнихсz ўтёхи, преизбhточествую рaдостію њ всsцэй печaли нaшей. |

| For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. |

| Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, even God, comforted us by the coming of Titus; | Но ўтэшazй смирє1нныz, ўтёши нaсъ бGъ пришeствіемъ тjтовымъ, |
7
7
| and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more. | не т0кмw же пришeствіемъ є3гw2, но и3 ўтэшeніемъ, и4мже ўтёшисz њ вaсъ, повёдаz нaмъ вaше желaніе, вaше рыдaніе, вaшу рeвность по мнЁ, ћкw ми2 пaче возрaдоватисz. |
8
8
| For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret it (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season), | Ћкw ѓще и3 њскорби1хъ вaсъ послaніемъ, не раскaюсz, ѓще и3 раскazлъ бhхъ сS: ви1жду бо2, ћкw послaніе џно, ѓще и3 къ часY, њскорби2 вaсъ. |
9
9
| I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing. | Нн7э рaдуюсz, не ћкw ск0рбни бhсте, но ћкw њскорби1стесz въ покаsніе: њскорбёсте бо2 по бз7э, дA ни въ чeмже њтщетитeсz t нaсъ. |
10
10
| For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Rп7д7.) |
11
11
| For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter. | Сe бо сіE сaмое, є4же по бз7э њскорби1тисz вaмъ, коли1ко содёла въ вaсъ тщaніе; но tвётъ; но негодовaніе, но стрaхъ, но вожделёніе, но рeвность, но tмщeніе; Во всeмъ предстaвисте себE чи6сты бhти въ вeщи. |
12
12
| So although I wrote unto you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God. | Ѓще бо и3 писaхъ вaмъ, не њби1дэвшагw рaди, нижE њби1димагw рaди, но за є4же kви1тисz въ вaсъ тщaнію нaшему, є4же њ вaсъ пред8 бGомъ. |
13
13
| Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort: and we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all. | Сегw2 рaди ўтёшихомсz њ ўтэшeніи вaшемъ: ли1шше же пaче возрaдовахомсz њ рaдости тjтовэ, ћкw пок0исz дyхъ є3гw2 t всёхъ вaсъ: |
14
14
| For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be the truth. | ћкw ѓще что2 є3мY њ вaсъ похвали1хсz, не посрами1хсz: но ћкw вс‰ вои1стинну глаг0лахомъ вaмъ, тaкw и3 похвалeніе нaше, є4же къ тjту, и4стинно бhсть: |
15
15
| And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. | и3 ўтр0ба є3гw2 и4злиха къ вaмъ є4сть, воспоминaющагw всёхъ вaсъ послушaніе, ћкw со стрaхомъ и3 трeпетомъ пріsсте є3го2. |
16

| Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God which hath been given in the churches of Macedonia; | (За? Rп7е7.) Сказyемъ же вaмъ, брaтіе, блгdть б9ію, дaнную въ цRквахъ макед0нскихъ: |

| Insomuch that we exhorted Titus, that as he had made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace also. | во є4же ўмоли1ти нaмъ тjта, да ћкоже прeжде начaтъ, тaкожде и3 скончaетъ въ вaсъ и3 бlгодaть сію2. |
7
7
| But as ye abound in everything, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. Rп7ѕ7.) Но ћкоже во всeмъ и3збhточествуете, вёрою и3 сл0вомъ, и3 рaзумомъ, и3 всsцэмъ тщaніемъ, и3 люб0вію, ћже t вaсъ къ нaмъ, да и3 въ сeй бlгодaти и3збhточествуете. |
8
8
| I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love. |
9
9
| For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might become rich. | Вёсте бо блгdть гDа нaшегw ї}са хrтA, ћкw вaсъ рaди њбнищA богaтъ сhй, да вы2 нищет0ю є3гw2 њбогатитeсz. |
10
10
| And herein I give my judgment: for this is expedient for you, who were the first to make a beginning a year ago, not only to do, but also to will. |
11
11
| But now complete the doing also; that as there was the readiness to will, so there may be the completion also out of your ability. |
12
12
| For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according as a man hath, not according as he hath not. |
13
13
| For I say not this that others may be eased and ye distressed; but by equality: your abundance being a supply at this present time for their want, | Не бо2 да и3ны6мъ ќбw tрaда, вaмъ же ск0рбь: но по и3зравнeнію. |
14
14

| as it is written, He that gathered much had nothing over; and he that gathered little had no lack. |
16

| But thanks be to God, who putteth the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus. Rп7з7.) Бlгодарeніе же бGови, дaвшему т0жде тщaніе њ вaсъ въ сeрдце тjтово: |
17

17

22

| And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he hath in you. |

| Whether any inquire about Titus, he is my partner and my fellow worker to you-ward; or our brethren, they are the messengers of the churches, they are the glory of Christ. | Ѓще ли же њ тjтэ, џбщникъ мнЁ и3 къ вaмъ споспёшникъ: ѓще ли брaтіz н†ша, посл†нницы цRквeй, слaва хrт0ва. |

| For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: | Њ слyжбэ бо, ћже ко с™ы6мъ, ли1шше ми2 є4сть писaти вaмъ, |
2
2
| for I know your readiness, of which I glory on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia hath been prepared for a year past; and the zeal from you hath stirred up very many of them. | вёмъ бо ўсeрдіе вaше, и4мже њ вaсъ хвалю1сz макед0нzнwмъ, ћкw ґхaіа пригот0висz t мимошeдшагw лёта: и3 ћже t вaсъ рeвность раздражи2 мн0жайшихъ. |

| But I have sent the brethren, that our glorying on your behalf may not be made void in this respect; that, even as I said, ye may be prepared: | Послaхъ же брaтію, да не похвалeніе нaше, є4же њ вaсъ, и3спраздни1тсz въ чaсти сeй, но да, ћкоже глаг0лахъ, пригот0вани бyдете: |
4

5
5
| I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your fore-announced bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion. | Потрeбно u5бо ўмhслихъ ўмоли1ти брaтію, да прeжде пріи1дутъ къ вaмъ и3 пред8угот0вzтъ прeжде возвэщeнное бlгословeніе вaше, сіE гот0во бhти тaкw, ћкоже бlгословeніе, ґ не ћкw лихои1мство. |

| But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Rп7}.) |

10

| And he that supplieth seed to the sower also supply bread for food, and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness: | Даsй же сёмz сёющему и3 хлёбъ въ снёдь, да подaстъ и3 ўмн0житъ сёмz вaше, и3 да возрасти1тъ жи6та прaвды вaшеz, |

| Now I Paul myself entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you: | Сaмъ же ѓзъ пavелъ молю1 вы кр0тостію и3 ти1хостію хrт0вою, и4же въ лицE ќбw смирeнъ въ вaсъ, не сhй же ў вaсъ дерзaю въ вaсъ. |
2

| yea, I beseech you, that I may not when present show courage with the confidence wherewith I count to be bold against some, who count of us as if we walked according to the flesh. |
3

| For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh | Во пл0ти бо ходsще, не по пл0ти вои1нствуемъ: |
4
4
| (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds); | nр{жіz бо в0инства нaшегw не плотск†z, но си6льна бGомъ на разорeніе твeрдємъ: помышлє1ніz низлагaюще, |

7
7
| Do ye look at the things that are before your face? If any man trusteth in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again of himself, that, even as he is Christ’s, so also are we Christ’s. |
8

| For even though I also should glory somewhat abundantly concerning our authority (which the Lord gave us for building you up, and not for casting you down), I shall not be put to shame: | Ѓще бо и3 ли1шше что2 похвалю1сz њ влaсти нaшей, ю4же дадE нaмъ гDь въ создaніе, ґ не на разорeніе вaше, не постыжyсz. |

10
10
| For, His letters, they say, are weighty and strong; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech of no account.

12
12
| For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with certain of them that commend themselves: but they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding. | Не смёемъ бо суди1ти [присовокуплsти], и3ли2 приклaдовати себE и3ны6мъ хвaлzщымъ себE самёхъ: но сaми въ себЁ себE и3змэрsюще, и3 прилагaюще себE сами6мъ себЁ, не разумэвaютъ. |
13
13
| But we will not glory beyond our measure, but according to the measure of the province which God apportioned to us as a measure, to reach even unto you. | Мh же не въ безмBрнаz похвaлимсz, но по мёрэ прaвила, є3г0же раздэли2 нaмъ бGъ мёру, достизaти дaже и3 до вaсъ. |
14
14
| For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as though we reached not unto you: for we came even as far as unto you in the gospel of Christ: | Не ћкw бо не досsжуще до вaсъ, пaче простирaемъ себE, дaже бо и3 до вaсъ достиг0хомъ бlговёстіемъ хrт0вымъ: |
15

15

16

16
| so as to preach the gospel even unto the parts beyond you, and not to glory in another’s province in regard of things ready to our hand. |
17

17
| But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
18
18

| For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. |

| Surely it is not expedient for me to glory; for I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. |
2
2
| I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I know not; or whether out of the body, I know not; God knoweth), such a one caught up even to the third heaven. |
3
3
| And I know such a man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I know not; God knoweth), | И# вёмъ таковA человёка: ѓще въ тёлэ, и3ли2 кромЁ тёла, не вёмъ: бGъ вёсть: |
4
4
| how that he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. |
5
5
| On behalf of such a one will I glory: but on mine own behalf I will not glory, save in my weaknesses. |
6
6
| For if I should desire to glory, I shall not be foolish; for I shall speak the truth: but I forbear, lest any man should account of me above that which he seeth me to be, or anything he heareth from me. |
7
7
| And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted overmuch. |
8
8
| Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9
9
| And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. |
10
10
| Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. R§е7.) Тёмже благоволю2 въ нeмощехъ, въ досаждeніихъ, въ бэдaхъ, во и3згнaніихъ, въ тэснотaхъ по хrтЁ: є3гдa бо немощствyю, тогдA си1ленъ є4смь. |
11
11
| I am become foolish in glorying: ye compelled me; for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing was I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I am nothing.
12
12
| Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs and wonders and mighty works. | знaмєніz бо ґпcлwва содёzшасz въ вaсъ во всsцэмъ терпёніи, въ знaменіихъ и3 чудесёхъ и3 си1лахъ. |
13
13
| For what is there wherein ye were made inferior to the rest of the churches, except it be that I myself was not a burden to you? forgive me this wrong. | Чт0 бо є4сть, є3гHже лиши1стесz пaче пр0чихъ цRквeй, рaзвэ т0чію ћкw ѓзъ сaмъ не стужи1хъ вaмъ; Дади1те ми2 непрaвду сію2. |
14
14
| Behold, a third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be a burden to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. | СE трeтіе гот0въ є4смь пріити2 къ вaмъ, и3 не стужY вaмъ: не и3щy бо вaшихъ, но вaсъ. |
15
15
| And I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls, though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved. | Ѓзъ же въ слaдость и3ждивY и3 и3ждивeнъ бyду по душaхъ вaшихъ, ѓще и3 и3зли1шше вaсъ любS, мeнше люби1мь є4смь. |
16
16
| But be it so, I did not myself burden you; but, being crafty, I caught you with guile. | Бyди же, ѓзъ не њтzгчи1хъ вaсъ, но ковaренъ сhй, лeстію вaсъ пріsхъ. |
17
17
| Did I take advantage of you by any one of them whom I have sent unto you? | Е#дA к0имъ t п0сланныхъ къ вaмъ лихои1мствовахъ вaсъ; |
18
18
| I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?
19
19
| Again, think ye that we are excusing ourselves unto you? In the sight of God speak we in Christ. But all things, beloved, are for your edifying. | Пaки ли мнитE, ћкw tвётъ вaмъ твори1мъ; Пред8 бGомъ, њ хrтЁ глаг0лемъ: вс‰ же, возлю1бленніи, њ вaшемъ созидaніи и3 ўтверждeніи. |
20
20
| For I fear, lest by any means, when I come, I should find you not such as I would, and should myself be found of you such as ye would not; lest by any means there should be strifes, jealousies, wraths, factions, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults; | (За? R§ѕ7.) Бою1сz же, є3дA кaкw пришeдъ, не ћцэхъ же хощY, њбрsщу вaсъ, и3 ѓзъ њбрsщусz вaмъ, kковa же не х0щете: да не кaкw (бyдутъ) рвє1ніz, з†висти, ћрwсти, рє1ти, клеветы6, шептaніz, кичє1ніz, нестроє1ніz: |
21
21
| lest again when I come my God will humble me before you, and I should mourn for many of them that have sinned heretofore, and repented not of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they committed. | да не пaки пришeдша мS смири1тъ бGъ м0й ў вaсъ, и3 восплaчусz мн0гихъ прeжде согрёшшихъ и3 не покazвшихсz њ нечистотЁ и3 блужeніи и3 студол0жствіи, ±же содёzша. |

Chapter 13
Главa Gi
1
1
| This is the third time I am coming to you. At the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every word be established. |
2
2
| I have said beforehand, and I do say beforehand, as if I were present the second time; and being absent now I write to them that have sinned heretofore, and to all the rest, that, if I come again, I will not spare; | Прeжде рёхъ и3 предглаг0лю, ћкw ў вaсъ бhвъ втор0е, и3 tсyтствуz нн7э пишY прeжде согрэши1вшымъ и3 пр0чымъ всBмъ, ћкw ѓще пріидY пaки, не пощаждY: |
3
3
| seeing that ye seek a proof of Christ that speaketh in me; who to you-ward is not weak, but is powerful in you: | (За? R§з7.) понeже и3скушeніz и4щете гlющагw во мнЁ хrтA, и4же въ вaсъ не и3знемогaетъ, но м0жетъ въ вaсъ: |
4
4
| for though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him through the power of God toward you.
5
5
| Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate. И#ли2 не знaете себE, ћкw ї}съ хrт0съ въ вaсъ є4сть; Рaзвэ т0чію чи1мъ неискyсни є3стE. |
6
6
| But I hope that ye shall know that we are not reprobate. |
7
7
| Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that ye may do that which is honorable, though we be as reprobate. |
8
8
| For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. | |
9
9
| For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this we also pray for, even your perfecting. | Рaдуемсz бо, є3гдA мы2 немощствyемъ, вh же си1льни бывaете: њ сeмъ же и3 м0лимсz, њ вaшемъ совершeніи. |
10
10
| For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not when present deal sharply, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for casting down. | Сегw2 рaди не сhй ў вaсъ сі‰ пишY, да не пришeдъ безщaднw сотворю2 по влaсти, ю4же гDь дaлъ ми2 є4сть въ создaніе, ґ не на разорeніе. |
11
11
| Finally, brethren, rejoice; be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you. | Пр0чее же, брaтіе, рaдуйтесz, совершaйтесz, ўтэшaйтесz, т0жде мyдрствуйте, ми1ръ и3мёйте. |
12
12
| Salute one another with a holy kiss. |
13
13
| All the saints salute you. | Блгdть гDа нaшегw ї}са хrтA, и3 любы2 бGа и3 nц7A, и3 nбщeніе с™aгw д¦а со всёми вaми. |
14
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. |
