The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all they that know the truth;

(За? о7е7.) Стaрецъ и3збрaннэй госпожЁ и3 чaдwмъ є3S, и5хже ѓзъ люблю2 вои1стинну, и3 не ѓзъ т0чію, но и3 вси2 разумёвшіи и4стину,

for the truth’s sake which abideth in us, and it shall be with us forever:
|
за и4стину пребывaющую въ нaсъ, и3 съ нaми бyдетъ во вёки:
|

|
Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
|
да бyдетъ съ вaми блгdть, млcть, ми1ръ t бGа nц7A, и3 t гDа ї}са хrтA, сн7а џ§а, во и4стинэ и3 любви2.

|
I rejoice greatly that I have found certain of thy children walking in truth, even as we received commandment from the Father.
|
Возрaдовахсz ѕэлw2, ћкw њбрэт0хъ t ч†дъ твои1хъ ходsщихъ во и4стинэ, ћкоже зaповэдь пріsхомъ t nц7A.

|
And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though writing to thee a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
|
И# нн7э молю1 тz, госпожE, не ћкw зaповэдь пишY тебЁ н0ву, но ю4же и4мамы и3спeрва, да лю1бимъ дрyгъ дрyга.

|
And this is love, that we should walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, even as ye heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.
|
И# сіS є4сть любы2, да х0димъ по зaповэдемъ є3гw2. СіS є4сть зaповэдь, ћкоже слhшасте и3спeрва, да въ нeй х0дите:

|
For many deceivers are entered into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

занE мн0зи лестцы2 внид0ша въ мjръ, не и3сповёдающе ї}са хrтA пришeдша во пlти, сeй є4сть льстeцъ и3 ґнтjхрістъ.

|
Look to yourselves, that we lose not the things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
|
Блюди1те себE, да не погубитE ћже дёласте дHбраz, но да мздY совершeнну воспріи1мете.
|

|
Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching of Christ, the same hath both the Father and the Son.
|
Всsкъ преступazй и3 не пребывazй во ў§ніи хrт0вэ бGа не и4мать: пребывazй же во ўчeніи хrт0вэ, сeй и3 nц7A и3 сн7а и4мать.

If anyone cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and give him no greeting:

Ѓще кто2 прих0дитъ къ вaмъ, и3 сегw2 ў§ніz не прин0ситъ, не пріeмлите є3го2 въ д0мъ, и3 рaдоватисz є3мY не глаг0лите:

for he that giveth him greeting partaketh in his evil works.
|
глаг0лzй бо є3мY рaдоватисz, соwбщaетсz дэлHмъ є3гw2 ѕлы6мъ.

|
Having many things to write unto you, I would not write them with paper and ink: but I hope to come unto you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be made full.
|
МнHга и3мёхъ писaти вaмъ, и3 не восхотёхъ хартіeю и3 черни1ломъ, но надёюсz пріити2 къ вaмъ и3 ўсты2 ко ўстHмъ глаг0лати, да рaдость вaша бyдетъ и3сп0лнена.
