Manasses was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Apsiba.
|
Сы́нъ двана́десяти лѣ́тъ Манассі́а, єгда́ нача́ ца́рствовати, и пятьдеся́тъ пя́ть лѣ́тъ ца́рствова во Ієрусали́мѣ. И́мя ма́тере єго́ Офові́а.

And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel.
|
И сотвори́ лука́воє предъ очи́ма Госпо́днима, и хожда́ше вслѣ́дъ ме́рзостей язы́ковъ, и́хже отрину Госпо́дь от лица́ сыно́въ Ізра́илевыхъ:
|

And he built again the high places, which Ezekias his father had demolished; and set up an altar to Baal, and made groves as Achaab king of Israel made them; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
|
и обрати́ся, и созда́ высо́кая, и́же разори́ оте́цъ єго́ єзекі́а, и воздви́же же́ртвенникъ Ваа́лу, и сотвори́ дубра́вы, я́коже сотвори́ Ахаа́въ ца́рь Ізра́илевъ, и поклони́ся все́й си́лѣ небе́снѣй и порабо́та и́мъ:

And he built an altar in the house of the Lord, whereas he had said, In Jerusalem I will place my name.
|
и созда́ олта́рь въ дому́ Госпо́дни, я́коже рече́ Госпо́дь: во Ієрусали́мѣ положу́ и́мя моє́.

|
And he built an altar to all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
|
И сотвори́ олта́рь все́й си́лѣ небе́снѣй на дву́ двору́ до́му Госпо́дня:
|

|
And he caused his sons to pass through the fire, and used divination and auspices, and made groves, and multiplied wizards, so as to do that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
|
и провожда́ше сы́ны своя́ чрезъ о́гнь, и вража́ше, и волшве́нія творя́ше, и сотвори́ ка́пища, и волше́бницы умно́жи твори́ти лука́воє предъ очи́ма Госпо́днима, є́же прогнѣ́вати єго́:
|

And he set up the graven image of the grove in the house of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I even place my name for ever.
|
и поста́ви изва́яноє дубра́вы въ хра́мѣ, о не́мже рече́ Госпо́дь къ даві́ду и къ Соломо́ну сы́ну єго́: въ хра́мѣ се́мъ и во Ієрусали́мѣ, єго́же избра́хъ от всѣ́хъ колѣ́нъ Ізра́илевыхъ, и положу́ ту́ и́мя моє́ на вѣ́ки,

And I will not again remove the foot of Israel from the land which I gave to their fathers, even of those who shall keep all that I commanded, according to all the commandments which my servant Moses commanded them.
|
и не приложу́ подви́гнутися но́зѣ Ізра́илевѣ от земли́, ю́же да́хъ отце́мъ и́хъ, а́ще ті́и соблюду́тъ вся́ єли́ка заповѣ́дахъ, по все́й за́повѣди, ю́же заповѣ́да и́мъ ра́бъ мо́й Моисе́й.

But they hearkened not; and Manasses led them astray to do evil in the sight of the Lord, beyond the nations whom the Lord utterly destroyed from before the children of Israel.
|
И не послу́шаша, и прельсти́ и́хъ Манассі́а, є́же сотвори́ти лука́воє предъ очи́ма Госпо́днима па́че язы́къ, я́же истреби́ Госпо́дь от лица́ сыно́въ Ізра́илевыхъ.

And the Lord spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
|
И глаго́ла Госпо́дь руко́ю рабо́въ свои́хъ проро́ковъ, глаго́ля:
|

|
Forasmuch as Manasses the king of Juda has wrought all these evil abominations, beyond all that the Amorite did, who lived before him, and has led Juda also into sin by their idols,
|
за сія́, єли́ка сотвори́ Манассі́а ца́рь Іу́динъ ме́рзости сія́ лука́выя, па́че всѣ́хъ я́же сотвори́ша Аморре́є, и́же пре́жде сего́ бы́ша, и введе́ во грѣ́хъ и Іу́ду, въ кумі́рѣхъ свои́хъ:

|
it shall not be so. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I bring calamities upon Jerusalem and Juda, so that both the ears of every one that hears shall tingle.
|
не та́ко: си́це глаго́летъ Госпо́дь Бо́гъ Ізра́илевъ: се́, а́зъ наведу́ зла́я на Ієрусали́мъ и на Іу́ду, я́ко вся́кому слы́шащему пошумя́тъ обоя́ у́ха єго́,

|
And I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measure of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Achaab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a jar is wiped, and turned upside down in the wiping.
|
и простру́ на Ієрусали́мъ мѣ́ру самарі́йскую и вѣсы́ до́му Ахаа́вля: и истреблю́ Ієрусали́ма, я́коже изглажда́єтся алава́стръ изглажда́ємый и превраща́єтся въ лице́ своє́:

And I will reject the remnant of my inheritance, and will deliver them into the hands of their enemies; and they shall be for a plunder and for a spoil to all their enemies:
|
и изри́ну оста́нки достоя́нія моєго́ и преда́мъ и́хъ въ ру́ки враго́въ и́хъ, и бу́дутъ въ расхище́ніє и въ плѣ́нъ всѣ́мъ враго́мъ свои́мъ:

forasmuch as they have done wickedly in my sight, and have provoked me from the day that I brought out their fathers out of Egypt, even until this day.
|
поне́же сотвори́ша лука́воє предъ очи́ма мои́ма и бы́ша прогнѣвля́юще мя́ от дне́, въ о́ньже изведо́хъ отцы́ и́хъ от земли́ Єги́петскія, и до дне́ сего́.

Moreover Manasses shed very much innocent blood, until he filled Jerusalem with it from one end to the other, beside his sins with which he caused Juda to sin, in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord.
|
Єще́ же кро́вь непови́нную излія́ Манассі́а мно́гу зѣло́, до́ндеже напо́лни Ієрусали́му уста́ до у́стъ, кромѣ́ грѣхо́въ єго́, и́миже во грѣ́хъ введе́ Іу́ду, сотвори́ти лука́воє предъ очи́ма Госпо́днима.

|
And the rest of the acts of Manasses, and all that he did, and his sin which he sinned, are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?
|
И про́чая слове́съ Манассі́иныхъ, и вся́ єли́ка сотвори́, и грѣ́хъ єго́, и́мже согрѣши́, не сія́ ли напи́сана въ кни́зѣ слове́съ дні́й царе́й Іу́диныхъ?

And Manasses slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his house, even in the garden of Oza: and Amos his son reigned in his stead.
|
И у́спе Манассі́а со отцы́ свои́ми, и погребе́нъ бы́сть въ вертогра́дѣ до́му своєго́, въ вертогра́дѣ о́зы. И воцари́ся Аммо́нъ сы́нъ єго́ вмѣ́сто єго́:

Twenty and two years old was Amos when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Mesollam, daughter of Arus of Jeteba.
|
сы́нъ два́десяти дву́ лѣ́тъ бѣ́ Аммо́нъ, єгда́ нача́ ца́рствовати и два́ лѣ́та ца́рствова во Ієрусали́мѣ. И́мя же ма́тери єго́ Месолла́мъ, дщи́ Ару́сова изъ Ієте́вы.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasses his father did.
|
И сотвори́ лука́воє предъ очи́ма Госпо́днима, я́коже сотвори́ Манассі́а оте́цъ єго́,

|
And he walked in all the way in which his father walked, and served the idols which his father served, and worshipped them.
|
и хожда́ше по всему́ пути́, и́мже ходи́ оте́цъ єго́, и порабо́та кумі́ромъ, и́мже порабо́та оте́цъ єго́, и поклони́ся и́мъ:

|
And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
|
и оста́ви Го́спода Бо́га оте́цъ свои́хъ, и не ходи́ путе́мъ Госпо́днимъ.

|
And the servants of Amos conspired against him, and slew the king in his house.
|
И воста́ша о́троцы Аммо́новы на́нь и умертви́ша царя́ въ дому́ єго́.
|
|

|
And the people of the land slew all that had conspired against king Amos; and the people of the land made Josias his son king in his room.
|
Лю́діє же земли́ [тоя́] изби́ша всѣ́хъ воста́вшихъ на царя́ Аммо́на, и воцари́ша лю́діє земли́ тоя́ Іосі́ю сы́на єго́ вмѣ́сто єго́.

|
And the rest of the acts of Amos, even all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?
|
И про́чая слове́съ Аммо́новыхъ, єли́ка сотвори́, не се́ ли, сія́ напи́сана въ кни́зѣ слове́съ дні́й царе́й Іу́диныхъ?

And they buried him in his tomb in the garden of Oza: and Josias his son reigned in his stead.
|
И погребо́ша єго́ во гро́бѣ єго́ въ вертогра́дѣ о́зинѣ. И воцари́ся Іосі́а сы́нъ єго́ вмѣ́сто єго́.
