| since all the nations are counted as a drop from a bucket, and as the turning of a balance, and shall be counted as spittle? | Ѓще вси2 kзhцы, ѓки кaплz t кaди, и3 ћкw претzжeніе вёса вмэни1шасz, и3 ѓки плюновeніе вмэнsтсz; |

| And Libanus is not enough to burn, nor all beasts enough for a whole-burnt offering: | Дубрaва же лівaнова не дов0лна на сожжeніе, и3 вс‰ четверонHгаz не довHлна на всесожжeніе. |

| For the artificer chooses out a wood that will not rot, and will wisely enquire how he shall set up his image, and that so that it should not be moved. | Дрeво бо негнію1щее и3збирaетъ древодёлатель и3 мyдрэ и4щетъ, кaкw постaвитъ w4бразъ є3гw2, и3 да не поколeблетсz. |

| Will ye not know? will ye not hear? has it not been told you of old? Have ye not known the foundations of the earth? | Не разумёсте ли, не слhшасте ли, не возвэсти1сz ли вaмъ и3спeрва; не разумёсте ли њснов†ніz земли2; |

| It is he that comprehends the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants in it are as grasshoppers; he that set up the heaven as a chamber, and stretched it out as a tent to dwell in: | Содержaй крyгъ земли2, и3 живyщіи на нeй ѓки прyзи: постaвивый нeбо ћкw камaру и3 простeръ є5, ћкw ски1нію њбитaти: |

| he that appoints princes to rule as nothing, and has made the earth as nothing. | даsй кн‰зи ѓки ничт0же владёти, и3 зeмлю ѓки ничт0же сотвори2. |

| For they shall not plant, neither shall they sow, neither shall their root be fixed in the ground: he has blown upon them, and they are withered, and a storm shall carry them away like sticks. | Не насадsтъ бо, нижE насёютъ, и3 не вкорени1тсz въ земли2 корeніе и4хъ: дхнY на ни1хъ вётръ, и3 и3зсх0ша, и3 бyрz ѓки стeбліе в0зметъ и5хъ. |

| He gives strength to the hungry, and sorrow to them that are not suffering. | даsй ѓлчущымъ крёпость и3 неболёзнєннымъ печaль. |

| For the young men shall hunger, and the youths shall be weary, and the choice men shall be powerless: | Взaлчутъ бо ю3нёйшіи, и3 ўтрудsтсz ю4нwты, и3 и3збрaнніи не крёпцы бyдутъ: |

| but they that wait on God shall renew their strength; they shall put forth new feathers like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not hunger. | терпsщіи же гDа и3змэнsтъ крёпость, њкрылaтэютъ ѓки nрли2, потекyтъ и3 не ўтрудsтсz, п0йдутъ и3 не взaлчутъ. |
