| And the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying, | И҆ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь ко і҆исꙋ́сꙋ, гл҃ѧ: |

| Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Assign the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you by Moses. | рцы̀ сынѡ́мъ і҆и҃лєвымъ, глаго́лѧ: дади́те гра́ды оу҆бѣже́нїй, ꙗ҆̀же реко́хъ къ ва́мъ мѡѷсе́омъ: |

| Even a refuge to the slayer who has smitten a man unintentionally; and the cities shall be to you a refuge, and the slayer shall not be put to death by the avenger of blood, until he have stood before the congregation for judgment. | оу҆бѣ́жище оу҆бі́йцѣ порази́вшемꙋ дꙋ́шꙋ нево́лею: и҆ бꙋ́дꙋтъ ва́мъ гра́ды оу҆бѣ́жище, и҆ не оу҆́мретъ оу҆бі́йца ѿ оу҆́жика кро́ве, до́ндеже предста́нетъ пред̾ со́нмомъ на сꙋ́дъ. |

| And Joshua separated Cades in Galilee in the mount Nephthali, and Sychem in the mount Ephraim, and the city of Arboc; this is Chebron, in the mountain of Juda. | И҆ ѿдѣли́ша кеде́съ въ галїле́и, въ горѣ̀ нефѳалі́мли, и҆ сѷхе́мъ въ горѣ̀ є҆фре́мли, и҆ гра́дъ а҆рво̀ (*се́й є҆́сть хеврѡ́нъ) въ горѣ̀ і҆ꙋ́дѣ: |

| And beyond Jordan he appointed Bosor in the wilderness in the plain out of the tribe of Ruben, and Aremoth in Galaad out of the tribe of Gad, and Gaulon in the country of Basan out of the tribe of Manasse. | и҆ ѡ҆б̾ ѻ҆нꙋ̀ странꙋ̀ і҆ѻрда́на ко і҆ерїхѡ́нꙋ на восто́къ, да́ша восо́ръ въ пꙋсты́ни въ по́ли ѿ пле́мене рꙋви́млѧ, и҆ рамѡ́ѳъ въ галаа́дѣ ѿ пле́мене га́дова, и҆ гѡла́нъ въ васані́тїдѣ ѿ пле́мене манассі́ина: |

| These were the cities selected for the sons of Israel, and for the stranger abiding among them, that every one who smites a soul unintentionally should flee thither, that he should not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he should stand before the congregation for judgment. | сі́и гра́ды и҆збра̑ны бы́ша всѣ̑мъ сынѡ́мъ і҆и҃лєвымъ и҆ прише́лцꙋ прилежа́щемꙋ въ ни́хъ, є҆́же оу҆бѣжа́ти та́мѡ всѧ́комꙋ оу҆бива́ющемꙋ дꙋ́шꙋ нево́лею, да не оу҆́мретъ ѿ рꙋкꙋ̀ оу҆́жика кро́ве, до́ндеже ста́нетъ пред̾ со́нмомъ на сꙋ́дъ. |
