Aleph. How has the Lord darkened in his wrath the daughter of Sion! he has cast down the glory of Israel from heaven to earth, and has not remembered his footstool.	Ѓлефъ. Beth. In the day of his wrath the Lord has overwhelmed her as in the sea, and not spared: he has brought down in his fury all the beautiful things of Jacob; he has brought down to the ground the strong-holds of the daughter of Juda: he has profaned her king and her princes. He has broken in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he has turned back his right hand from the face of the enemy, and has kindled a flame in Jacob as fire, and it has devoured all things round about. He has bent his bow as an opposing enemy: he has strengthened his right hand as an adversary, and has destroyed all the desirable things of my eyes in the tabernacle of the daughter of Sion: he has poured forth his anger as fire. He. The Lord is become as an enemy: he has overwhelmed Israel as in the sea, he has overwhelmed her palaces: he has destroyed his strong-holds, and has multiplied the afflicted and humbled ones to the daughter of Juda.	ГE. Бhсть гDь ѓки врaгъ, погрузи2 ї}лz, погрузи2 вс‰ д0мы є3гw2, разсhпа вс‰ стёны є3гw2 и3 ўмн0жи дщeри їyдинэ смирeна и3 смирeну,

Vau. And he has scattered his tabernacle as a vine, he has marred his feast: the Lord has forgotten the feast and the sabbath which he appointed in Sion, and in the fury of his wrath has vexed the king, and priest, and prince.	Вavъ. и3 развeрзе ѓки віногрaдъ селeніе своE, разсhпа прaздники є3гw2: забы2 гDь, ±же сотвори2 въ сіHнэ прaздники и3 суббw6ты, и3 њѕл0би прещeніемъ гнёва своегw2 царS и3 кнsзz и3 жерцA.

Zain. The Lord has rejected his altar, he has cast off his sanctuary, he has broken by the hand of the enemy the wall of her palaces; they have uttered their voice in the house of the Lord as on a feast day.	Зaінъ. Tри1ну гDь жeртвенникъ св0й, tтрzсE с™hню свою2, сокруши2 рук0ю врaжіею стёну забрaлwвъ є3гw2: глaсъ дaша въ домY гDни ћкw въ дeнь прaздника.

Heth. And he has turned to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he has stretched out the measuring line, he has not turned back his hand from afflicting her: therefore the bulwark mourned, and the wall was weakened with it.	И$fъ. Њбрати1сz гDь разсhпати стёну дщeре сіHни: протzжE мёру, не tврати2 руки2 своеS t попрaніz: и3 сётова предгрaдіе, и3 њгрaда вкyпэ и3знем0же.

Teth. Her gates are sunk into the ground: he has destroyed and broken to pieces her bars, and her king and her prince among the Gentiles: there is no law, nay, her prophets have seen no vision from the Lord. Jod. The elders of the daughter of Sion have sat upon the ground, they have kept silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloths: they have brought down to the ground the chief virgins in Jerusalem.	ЇHдъ. Сэд0ша на земли2, ўмолк0ша старBйшины дщeре сіHни, посhпаша пeрсть на главы6 сво‰, препоsсашасz во врє1тища, низвед0ша въ зeмлю старёйшинъ дёвъ їеrли1мскихъ.

Chaph. Mine eyes have failed with tears, my heart is troubled, my glory is cast down to the ground, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; while the infant and suckling swoon in the streets of the city.	Кaфъ. Њскудёша џчи мои2 въ слезaхъ, смути1сz сeрдце моE, и3зліsсz на зeмлю слaва моS њ сокрушeніи дщeре людjй мои1хъ, внегдA њскудЁ младeнецъ и3 ссyщій на ст0гнахъ грaдскихъ.

Lamed. They said to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? while they fainted like wounded men in the streets of the city, while their souls were poured out into their mother's bosom.	Лaмедъ. Мaтеремъ свои6мъ рек0ша: гдЁ пшени1ца и3 віно2; внегдA разслaблєнымъ бhти и5мъ, ћкw ћзвєнымъ на ст0гнахъ грaдскихъ, є3гдA и3зливaхусz дyши и4хъ въ л0но мaтерей и4хъ.

Mem. What shall I testify to thee, or what shall I compare to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? who shall save and comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Sion? for the cup of thy destruction is enlarged: who shall heal thee?	Мeмъ. Чт0 ти засвидётелствую; и3ли2 что2 ўпод0блю тебЁ, дщи2 їеrли1млz; кт0 тz спасeтъ и3 кт0 тz ўтёшитъ, дэви1це, дщи2 сіHнz; ћкw возвели1чисz чaша сокрушeніz твоегw2, кт0 тz и3зцэли1тъ;

Nun. Thy prophets have seen for thee vanities and folly: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn back thy captivity; but they have seen for thee vain burdens, and worthless visions.	Нyнъ. Прор0цы твои2 ви1дэша тебЁ сyєтнаz и3 безyміе и3 не tкрhша њ непрaвдэ твоeй, є4же возврати1ти плэнeніе твоE, и3 ви1дэша тебЁ словесA сyєтнаz и3 и3зриновє1ніz.

Samech. All that go by the way have clapped their hands at thee; they have hissed and shaken their head at the daughter of Jerusalem. Is this the city, they say, the crown of joy of all the earth?	Сaмехъ. Восплескaша рукaма њ тебЁ вси2 минyющіи путeмъ, позвиздaша и3 покивaша глав0ю своeю њ дщeри їеrли1мли, рекyще: сeй ли грaдъ, вэнeцъ слaвы, весeліе всеS земли2;

Ain. All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they have hissed and gnashed their teeth, and said, We have swallowed her up: moreover this is the day which we looked for; we have found it, we have seen it.	Ѓінъ. Tверз0ша на тS ўстA сво‰ вси2 врази2 твои2, позвиздaша и3 поскрежетaша зубы2 свои1ми и3 рёша: поглоти1мъ ю5: nбaче сeй дeнь, є3г0же чazхомъ, њбрэт0хомъ є3го2, ви1дэхомъ.

Phe. The Lord has done that which he purposed; he has accomplished his word, even the things which he commanded from the ancient days: he has thrown down, and has not spared: and he has caused the enemy to rejoice over thee, he has exalted the horn of him that afflicted thee.	Фи2. Сотвори2 гDь, ±же помhсли, скончA словесA сво‰, ±же заповёда t днjй пeрвыхъ: разори2 и3 не пощадЁ, и3 возвесели2 њ тебЁ врагA, вознесE р0гъ стужaющагw ти2.

Tsade. Their heart cried to the Lord, Ye walls of Sion, pour down tears like torrents day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eyes cease.	Цaди. Возопи2 сeрдце и4хъ ко гDу, стёны дщeре сіHни да и3злію1тъ ћкоже водотeча слeзы дeнь и3 н0щь: не дaждь пок0z себЁ, и3 да не ўм0лкнетъ зёница џчію твоє1ю.

Koph. Arise, rejoice in the night at the beginning of thy watch: pour out thy heart as water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands to him for the life of thine infants, who faint for hunger at the top of all the streets.	КHфъ. Востaни, поучи1сz въ нощи2 въ начaлэ стражбы2 твоеS, пролjй ћкw в0ду сeрдце твоE пред8 лицeмъ гDнимъ, воздви1гни къ немY рyцэ твои2 њ душaхъ младeнєцъ твои1хъ, разслaбленыхъ глaдомъ въ начaлэ всёхъ и3сх0дwвъ.

Rhechs. Behold, O Lord, and see for whom thou hast gathered thus. Shall the women eat the fruit of their womb? the cook has made a gathering: shall the infants sucking at the breasts be slain? wilt thou slay the priest and prophet in the sanctuary of the Lord?	Рeшъ. Ви1ждь, гDи, и3 при1зри, кого2 є3си2 њтреби1лъ си1це; є3дA снэдsтъ жєны2 пл0дъ ўтр0бы своеS; њтреблeніе сотвори2 п0варъ, и3збію1тъ ли младeнцєвъ ссyщихъ сосцы2; ўбіeши ли во с™hни гDни жерцA и3 прор0ка;

Chsen. The child and old man have lain down in the street: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity: thou hast slain them with the sword and with famine; in the day of thy wrath thou hast mangled them, thou hast not spared.	Ши1нъ. Ўсп0ша на и3сх0дищихъ џтрокъ и3 стaрецъ: дэви6цы мо‰ и3 ю4нwты мои2 tид0ша въ плёнъ, мечeмъ и3 глaдомъ и3зби1лъ є3си2, въ дeнь гнёва твоегw2 свари1лъ є3си2, не пощадёлъ.

Thau. He has called my sojourners round about to a solemn day, and there was not in the day of the wrath of the Lord any one that escaped or was left; whereas I have strengthened and multiplied all mine enemies.	Favъ. Призвaлъ є3си2 ћкw дeнь прaздника пришє1лствіz мо‰ w4крестъ, и3 не бhсть въ дeнь гнёва гDнz ўцэлёвый и3 њстaвыйсz, ћкw сотвори1хъ возмощи2 и3 ўмн0жихъ враги2 мо‰ вс‰.
