Призва́ же Іа́ковъ сы́ны своя́ и рече́ и́мъ: собери́теся, да возвѣщу́ ва́мъ, что́ сря́щетъ ва́съ въ послѣ́днія дни́:
|
And Jacob called his sons, and said to them, Assemble yourselves, that I may tell you what shall happen to you in the last days.
|

|
собери́теся и послу́шайте мене́, сы́нове Іа́ковли, послу́шайте Ізра́иля, послу́шайте отца́ ва́шего.
|
Gather yourselves together, and hear me, sons of Jacob; hear Israel, hear your father.
|
|

|
|
Руви́мъ, пе́рвенецъ мо́й, ты́ крѣ́пость моя́ и нача́ло ча́дъ мои́хъ: же́стокъ терпѣ́ти и же́стокъ упо́рникъ:
|
Ruben, thou art my first-born, thou my strength, and the first of my children, hard to be endured, hard and self-willed.
|

|
досади́лъ єси́ я́ко вода́, да не воскипи́ши: возше́лъ бо єси́ на ло́же отца́ твоєго́, тогда́ оскверни́лъ єси́ посте́лю, идѣ́же возше́лъ єси́.
|
Thou wast insolent like water, burst not forth with violence, for thou wentest up to the bed of thy father; then thou defiledst the couch, whereupon thou wentest up.
|

Симео́нъ и Леві́й бра́тія соверши́ста оби́ду от во́ли своєя́:
|
Symeon and Levi, brethren, accomplished the injustice of their cutting off.
|

|
въ совѣ́тъ и́хъ да не пріи́детъ душа́ моя́, и къ собра́нію и́хъ да не прилѣпя́тся вну́тренняя моя́: я́ко во гнѣ́вѣ своє́мъ изби́ста человѣ́ки, и въ по́хоти своє́й прерѣ́заста жи́лы юнца́:
|
Let not my soul come into their counsel, and let not mine inward parts contend in their conspiracy, for in their wrath they slew men, and in their passion they houghed a bull.
|

|
проклята́ я́рость и́хъ, я́ко упо́рна, и гнѣ́въ и́хъ, я́ко ожесточи́ся: раздѣлю́ и́хъ во Іа́ковѣ и разсѣ́ю и́хъ во Ізра́или.
|
Cursed be their wrath, for it was wilful, and their anger, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
|

Іу́до, тебе́ похва́лятъ бра́тія твоя́, ру́цѣ твои́ на плещу́ вра́гъ твои́хъ: покло́нятся тебѣ́ сы́нове отца́ твоєго́:
|
Juda, thy brethren have praised thee, and thy hands shall be on the back of thine enemies; thy father's sons shall do thee reverence.
|

|
ски́менъ льво́въ Іу́да: от лѣ́торасли, сы́не мо́й, возше́лъ єси́: возле́гъ усну́лъ єси́ я́ко ле́въ и я́ко ски́менъ: кто́ возбу́дитъ єго́?
|
Juda is a lion's whelp: from the tender plant, my son, thou art gone up, having couched thou liest as a lion, and as a whelp; who shall stir him up?
|

|
Не оскудѣ́єтъ кня́зь от Іу́ды и во́ждь от чре́слъ єго́, до́ндеже пріи́дутъ отложе́ная Єму́, и То́й ча́яніє язы́ковъ:
|
A ruler shall not fail from Juda, nor a prince from his loins, until there come the things stored up for him; and he is the expectation of nations.
|

|
привязу́яй къ лозѣ́ жребя́ своє́ и къ ві́нничію жребца́ осля́те своєго́, испере́тъ віно́мъ оде́жду свою́ и кро́вію гро́здія одѣя́ніє своє́:
|
Binding his foal to the vine, and the foal of his ass to the branch of it, he shall wash his robe in wine, and his garment in the blood of the grape.

|
радостотво́рны о́чи єго́ па́че віна́, и бѣлы́ зу́бы єго́ па́че млека́.
|
His eyes shall be more cheering than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk.
|

|
|
Завуло́нъ при мо́ри всели́тся, и то́й на приста́нищи корабле́й, и простре́тся да́же до Сідо́на.
|
Zabulon shall dwell on the coast, and he shall be by a haven of ships, and shall extend to Sidon.
|

|
|
Іссаха́ръ до́броє возжела́, почива́я посредѣ́ предѣ́ловъ,
|
Issachar has desired that which is good; resting between the inheritances.
|
|

|
|
и ви́дѣвъ поко́й, я́ко до́бръ, и зе́млю, я́ко тучна́, подложи́ ра́мы свои́ на тру́дъ, и бы́сть му́жъ земледѣ́лецъ.
|
And having seen the resting place that it was good, and the land that it was fertile, he subjected his shoulder to labour, and became a husbandman.

|
Да́нъ суди́ти и́мать лю́ди своя́, я́ко и єди́но пле́мя во Ізра́или,
|
Dan shall judge his people, as one tribe too in Israel.
|
|

|
|
и да бу́детъ Да́нъ змі́й на пути́, сѣдя́й на распу́тіи, угрыза́я пя́ту ко́нску:
|
And let Dan be a serpent in the way, besetting the path, biting the heel of the horse (and the rider shall fall backward),
|
|

|
|
и паде́тъ ко́нникъ вспя́ть, спасе́нія жды́й Госпо́дня.
|
waiting for the salvation of the Lord.
|
|

|
|
Га́дъ, искуше́ніє иску́ситъ єго́: о́нъ же иску́ситъ того́ при нога́хъ.
|
Gad, a plundering troop shall plunder him; but he shall plunder him, pursuing him closely.
|
|

|
|
Аси́ръ, ту́ченъ єго́ хлѣ́бъ, и то́й да́стъ пи́щу князе́мъ.
|
Aser, his bread shall be fat; and he shall yield dainties to princes.
|
|

|
|
Нефѳалі́мъ сте́бль распуща́ющаяся, издая́й во от́расли добро́ту.
|
Nephthalim is a spreading stem, bestowing beauty on its fruit.
|
|

|
|
Сы́нъ возраще́нъ Іо́сифъ, сы́нъ возраще́нъ мо́й ре́вностный, сы́нъ мо́й юнѣ́йшій, ко мнѣ́ обрати́ся:
|
Joseph is a son increased; my dearly loved son is increased; my youngest son, turn to me.

|
на него́же совѣ́тующе укоря́ху и наляца́ху на́нь госпо́діє стрѣля́ній,
|
Against whom men taking evil counsel reproached him, and the archers pressed hard upon him.
|
|

|
|
и сотро́шася съ крѣ́постію лу́ки и́хъ, и разслабѣ́ша жи́лы мы́шцей ру́къ и́хъ, руко́ю си́льнаго Іа́кова: отту́ду укрѣпи́ся Ізра́иль от Бо́га отца́ твоєго́,
|
But their bow and arrows were mightily consumed, and the sinews of their arms were slackened by the hand of the mighty one of Jacob; thence is he that strengthened Israel from the God of thy father;
|

|
и помо́же тебѣ́ Бо́гъ мо́й, и благослови́ тя благослове́ніємъ небе́снымъ свы́ше и благослове́ніємъ земли́ иму́щія вся́: благослове́нія ра́ди сосце́въ и ложе́снъ,
|
and my God helped thee, and he blessed thee with the blessing of heaven from above, and the blessing of the earth possessing all things, because of the blessing of the breasts and of the womb,

|
благослове́нія отца́ твоєго́ и ма́тере твоєя́: преодолѣ́ па́че благослове́нія го́ръ пребыва́ющихъ и благослове́нія холмо́въ вѣ́чныхъ: бу́дутъ на главѣ́ Іо́сифовѣ и на версѣ́ [главы́] бра́тій, и́миже облада́ше.

the blessings of thy father and thy mother—it has prevailed above the blessing of the lasting mountains, and beyond the blessings of the everlasting hills; they shall be upon the head of Joseph, and upon the head of the brothers of whom he took the lead.

|
Веніамі́нъ во́лкъ хи́щникъ, ра́но я́стъ єще́ и на ве́черъ дає́тъ пи́щу.
|
Benjamin, as a ravening wolf, shall eat still in the morning, and at evening he gives food.
|

|
|
Вси́ сі́и сы́нове Іа́ковли двана́десять: и сія́ глаго́ла и́мъ оте́цъ и́хъ, и благослови́ и́хъ: коєго́ждо по благослове́нію єго́ благослови́ и́хъ,
|
All these are the twelve sons of Jacob; and their father spoke these words to them, and he blessed them; he blessed each of them according to his blessing.

|
и рече́ и́мъ: а́зъ прилага́юся къ лю́демъ мои́мъ: погреби́те мя́ со отцы́ мои́ми въ пеще́рѣ, я́же є́сть въ селѣ́ Єфро́на Хетте́анина,
|
And he said to them, I am added to my people; ye shall bury me with my fathers in the cave, which is in the field of Ephron the Chettite,

|
въ пеще́рѣ Сугу́бѣй, я́же пря́мо Мамврі́и въ земли́ Ханаа́ни, ю́же стяжа́ Авраа́мъ пеще́ру у Єфро́на Хетте́анина въ стяжа́ніє гро́ба.
|
in the double cave which is opposite Mambre, in the land of Chanaan, the cave which Abraam bought of Ephron the Chettite, for a possession of a sepulchre.

Та́мо погребо́ша Авраа́ма и Са́рру жену́ єго́, та́мо погребо́ша Ісаа́ка и Реве́кку жену́ єго́, та́мо погребо́ша Лі́ю,
|
There they buried Abraam and Sarrha his wife; there they buried Isaac, and Rebecca his wife; there they buried Lea;

|
въ стяжа́ніи села́ и пеще́ры, я́же є́сть въ не́мъ у сыно́въ Хетте́овыхъ.
|
in the portion of the field, and of the cave that was in it, purchased of the sons of Chet.
|

|
И преста́ Іа́ковъ завѣща́я сыно́мъ свои́мъ, и возложи́въ Іа́ковъ но́зѣ свои́ на о́дръ у́мре, и приложи́ся къ лю́демъ свои́мъ.
|
And Jacob ceased giving charges to his sons; and having lifted up his feet on the bed, he died, and was gathered to his people.
