7
7
| И# речE саyлъ ко nтрокHмъ свои6мъ предстоsщымъ є3мY: слhшите нн7э, сhнове веніамjнwвы, ѓще вои1стинну всBмъ вaмъ дaстъ сhнъ їессeевъ сeла и3 віногрaды и3 постaвитъ вaсъ всёхъ въ с0тники и3 тhсzщники: | And Saul said to his servants that stood by him, Hear now, ye sons of Benjamin, will the son of Jessæ indeed give all of you fields and vineyards, and will he make you all captains of hundreds and captains of thousands? |
8
8
| ћкw вси2 согласи1стесz на мS, и3 нёсть tкрывazй во ќхо моE, є3гдA положи2 завётъ сhнъ м0й съ сhномъ їессeовымъ, и3 нёсть t вaсъ ни є3ди1нъ болsй њ мнЁ и3 возвэщazй во ќшы мои2, ћкw воздви1же сhнъ м0й рабA моего2 на мS врагA, ћкоже дeнь сeй; | that ye are all conspiring against me, and there is no one that informs me, whereas my son has made a covenant with the son of Jessæ, and there is no one of you that is sorry for me, or informs me that my son has stirred up my servant against me for an enemy, as it is this day? |

9
| И# tвэщA дwи1къ сЂринъ пристaвленый над8 мскaми саyловыми и3 речE: ви1дэхъ сhна їессeева пришeдша въ номвY ко ґвімелeху сhну ґхjтову їерeю: | And Doec the Syrian who was over the mules of Saul answered and said, I saw the son of Jessæ as he came to Nomba to Abimelech son of Achitob the priest. |
10
10
| и3 вопрошaше њ нeмъ бGа, и3 брaшно вдадE є3мY, и3 мeчь голіafа и3ноплемeнника вдадE є3мY. | And the priest enquired of God for him, and gave him provisions, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine. |
11
11

12
12
| And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Achitob. And he said, Lo! I am here, speak, my lord. |
13
13
| И# речE є3мY саyлъ: почто2 совэщaлсz є3си2 на мS ты2 и3 сhнъ їессeевъ, ћкw вдaлъ є3си2 є3мY хлёбъ и3 мeчь, и3 вопрошaлъ є3си2 њ нeмъ бGа положи1ти є3го2 на мS во врагA, ћкоже дeнь сeй; | And Saul said to him, Why have thou and the son of Jessæ conspired against me, that thou shouldest give him bread and a sword, and shouldest enquire of God for him, to raise him up against me as an enemy, as he is this day? |
14
14
| И# tвэщA ґвімелeхъ царю2 и3 речE: и3 кто2 во всёхъ рабёхъ твои1хъ вёренъ ћкоже давjдъ, и3 зsть царeвъ, и3 кнsзь всBмъ зaповэдемъ твои6мъ, и3 слaвенъ въ д0му твоeмъ; | And he answered the king, and said, And who is there among all thy servants faithful as David, and he is a son-in-law of the king, and he is executor of all thy commands, and is honourable in thy house? |
15
15
| є3дA днeсь начaхъ вопрошaти њ нeмъ бGа; никaкw: да не возложи1ши, царю2, на рабA твоего2 словесE сегw2, и3 на вeсь д0мъ nтцA моегw2, ћкw не вёдzше рaбъ тв0й во всёхъ си1хъ словесE мaла, и3ли2 вели1ка. | Have I begun to-day to enquire of God for him? by no means: let not the king bring a charge against his servant, and against the whole of my father's house; for thy servant knew not in all these matters anything great or small. |
16
16
| И# речE цaрь саyлъ: смeртію ќмреши, ґвімелeхъ, ты2 и3 вeсь д0мъ nтцA твоегw2. | And king Saul said, Thou shalt surely die, Abimelech, thou, and all thy father's house. |
17
17
| And the king said to the footmen that attended on him, Draw nigh and slay the priests of the Lord, because their hand is with David, and because they knew that he fled, and they did not inform me. But the servants of the king would not lift their hands to fall upon the priests of the Lord. |
18
18
И# њбрати1сz дwи1къ сЂринъ, и3 ўби2 їерeєвъ гDнихъ въ т0й дeнь, три1ста пsть мужeй, всёхъ носsщихъ є3фyдъ: | And the king said to Doec, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests: and Doec the Syrian turned, and slew the priests of the Lord in that day, three hundred and five men, all wearing an ephod. |
19
19
| и3 номвY грaдъ їерeйскій погуби2 џстріемъ nрyжіz t мyжеска п0лу и3 до жeнска, t џтрока и3 до ссyщагw, и3 телцA и3 nслA и3 nвчaте. | And he smote Nomba the city of the priests with the edge of the sword, both man and woman, infant and suckling, and calf, and ox, and sheep. |
20
20
| And one son of Abimelech son of Achitob escapes, and his name was Abiathar, and he fled after David. |
21
21
| And Abiathar told David that Saul had slain all the priests of the Lord. |
22
22
| И# речE давjдъ ко ґвіafару: вёдzхъ въ дeнь т0й, ћкw тaмw бЁ дwи1къ сЂринъ, ћкw возвэщaz возвэсти1тъ саyлу: ѓзъ є4смь вин0венъ њ душaхъ д0му nтцA твоегw2: | And David said to Abiathar, I knew it in that day, that Doec the Syrian would surely tell Saul: I am guilty of the death of the house of thy father. |
23
23
2. | Dwell with me; fear not, for wherever I shall seek a place of safety for my life, I will also seek a place for thy life, for thou art safely guarded while with me. |
