| И# взsша и3ноплемє1нницы ківHтъ б9ій и3 и3знес0ша є3го2 t ґвенезeра во ґзHтъ: | And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Abenezer to Azotus. |

| и3 взsша и3ноплемє1нницы ківHтъ гDень и3 внес0ша є3го2 въ хрaмъ дагHновъ, и3 постaвиша є3го2 бли1з8 дагHна. | And the Philistines took the ark of the Lord, and brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. |

| И# њбyтреневаша ґзHтzне наyтріе и3 внид0ша въ хрaмъ дагHновъ: и3 ўви1дэша, и3 сE, дагHнъ падE на зeмлю на лицE своE пред8 ківHтомъ б9іимъ. И# воздвиг0ша дагHна, и3 постaвиша є3го2 на мёстэ своeмъ. | And the people of Azotus rose early, and entered into the house of Dagon; and looked, and behold, Dagon had fallen on his face before the ark of the Lord: and they lifted up Dagon, and set him in his place. And the hand of the Lord was heavy upon the Azotians, and he plagued them, and he smote them in their secret parts, Azotus and her coasts. |

| И# бhсть є3гдA востaша заyтра, и3 сE, дагHнъ лежaше лицeмъ на земли2 пред8 ківHтомъ завёта гDнz: главa же дагHнова и3 џбэ плеснB н0гъ є3гw2 t‰ты на прaзэ nс0бw кazждо, и3 џбэ дл†ни рyкъ є3гw2 лежaщэ при двeрехъ, т0чію трyпъ дагHновъ њстaсz. | And it came to pass when they rose early in the morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off each before the threshold, and both the wrists of his hands had fallen on the floor of the porch; only the stump of Dagon was left. |

| Тогw2 рaди не вступaютъ жерцы2 дагHнwвы и3 вси2 входsщіи въ хрaмъ дагHновъ на прaгъ д0му дагHнова во ґзHтэ дaже до днE сегw2: ћкw преступaюще преступaютъ. | Therefore the priests of Dagon, and every one that enters into the house of Dagon, do not tread upon the threshold of the house of Dagon in Azotus until this day, for they step over. |

| И# њтzготЁ рукA гDнz на ґзHтэ, и3 наведE на ни1хъ, и3 воскипЁ и5мъ на сэдaлищахъ и4хъ, во ґзHтэ и3 въ предёлэхъ є3гw2, и3 посредЁ страны2 є3гw2 ўмн0жишасz мhшы: и3 бhсть смущeніе смeрти вели1ко во грaдэ. | And the hand of the Lord was heavy upon Azotus, and he brought evil upon them, and it burst out upon them into the ships, and mice sprang up in the midst of their country, and there was a great and indiscriminate mortality in the city. |

| И# ви1дэша мyжіе ґзHтстіи, ћкw тaкw (бhсть), и3 глаг0лаша: ћкw не пребyдетъ ківHтъ бGа ї}лева съ нaми, ћкw жeстока рукA є3гw2 на ны2 и3 на дагHна б0га нaшего. | And the men of Azotus saw that it was so, and they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us, for his hand is heavy upon us and upon Dagon our god. |

| И# послaвше собрaша воев0дъ и3ноплемeнничихъ къ себЁ и3 глаг0лаша: что2 сотвори1мъ ківHту бGа ї}лева; И# рёша геfeє: да прeйдетъ ківHтъ бGа ї}лева къ нaмъ въ гefъ. И# прeйде ківHтъ бGа ї}лева въ гefъ. | And they send and gather the lords of the Philistines to them, and say, What shall we do to the ark of the God of Israel? and the Gittites say, Let the ark of God come over to us; and the ark of the God of Israel came to Geth. |

| И# бhсть по прешeствіи є3гw2, и3 бhсть рукA гDнz на грaдэ, мzтeжъ вeлій ѕэлw2: и3 порази2 мyжы грaда t мaла до вели1ка, и3 порази2 и5хъ на сэдaлищахъ и4хъ. И# сотвори1ша геfeє себЁ сэд†лища (зл†та), | And it came to pass after it went about to Geth, that the hand of the Lord comes upon the city, a very great confusion; and he smote the men of the city small and great, and smote them in their secret parts: and the Gittites made to themselves images of emerods. |

| и3 tпусти1ша ківHтъ б9ій во ґскалHнъ. И# бhсть є3гдA вни1де ківHтъ бGа ї}лева во ґскалHнъ, и3 возопи1ша ґскалwнjтzне глаг0люще: почто2 возврати1сте ківHтъ бGа ї}лева къ нaмъ, ўмори1ти ны2 и3 лю1ди нaшz; | And they send away the ark of God to Ascalon; and it came to pass when the ark of God went into Ascalon, that the men of Ascalon cried out, saying, Why have ye brought back the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people? |

| И# послaша и3 собрaша вс‰ воевHды и3ноплемє1нничи и3 рёша: tпусти1те ківHтъ бGа ї}лева, и3 да постaвитсz на мёстэ своeмъ, и3 да не ўмори1тъ нaсъ и3 людjй нaшихъ. Ћкw бhсть мzтeжъ смeрти во всeмъ грaдэ тsжекъ ѕэлw2, є3гдA вни1де ківHтъ бGа ї}лева тaмw. | And they send and gather the lords of the Philistines, and they said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it lodge in its place; and let it not slay us and our people. |

| И# живyщіи и3 не ўмeршіи ўzзви1шасz на сэдaлищахъ, и3 взhде в0пль грaда до нб7сE. | For there was a very great confusion in all the city, when the ark of the God of Israel entered there; and those who lived and died not were smitten with emerods; and the cry of the city went up to heaven. |
