И# бhсть во дни6 w4ны, и3 собрaшасz и3ноплемє1нницы проти1ву ї}лz на брaнь: и3 и3зhде ї}ль во срётеніе и5мъ на брaнь, и3 њполчи1шасz во ґвенезeрэ, и3 и3ноплемє1нницы њполчи1шасz во ґфeцэ:	And it came to pass in those days that the Philistines gathered themselves together against Israel to war; and Israel went out to meet them and encamped at Aben-ezer, and the Philistines encamped in Aphec.

и3 срази1шасz и3ноплемє1нницы на брaни со ї}лтzны, и3 преклони1сz брaнь, и3 пад0ша мyжіе ї}лєвы пред8 и3ноплемє1нники, и3 ўбіeни бhша въ брaни на селЁ четhри тhсzщы мужeй.	And the Philistines prepare to fight with Israel, and the battle was turned against them; and the men of Israel fell before the Philistines, and there were smitten in the battle in the field four thousand men.

И# пріид0ша лю1діе въ п0лкъ, и3 рёша старBйшины ї}лєвы: почто2 порази2 нaсъ гDь днeсь пред8 и3ноплемє1нники; в0змемъ ківHтъ бGа нaшегw t силHма, и3 и3зhдетъ посредЁ нaсъ и3 сп7сeтъ ны2 t руки2 вр†гъ нaшихъ.	And the people came to the camp, and the elders of Israel said, Why has the Lord caused us to fall this day before the Philistines? let us take the ark of our God out of Selom, and let it proceed from the midst of us, and it shall save us from the hand of our enemies.

И# послaша лю1діе въ силHмъ, и3 взsша tтyду ківHтъ гDа сэдsщагw на херувjмэхъ: и3 (бhша) тaмw џба сы6на и3л‡ина съ ківHтомъ б9іимъ, nфнJ и3 фінеeсъ.	And the people sent to Selom, and they take thence the ark of the Lord who dwells between the cherubs: and both the sons of Heli, Ophni and Phinees, were with the ark.

И# бhсть є3гдA пріи1де ківHтъ гDень въ п0лкъ, и3 возопи2 вeсь ї}ль глaсомъ вели1кимъ, и3 возшумЁ землS.	And it came to pass when the ark of the Lord entered into the camp, that all Israel cried out with a loud voice, and the earth resounded.

И# ўслhшаша и3ноплемє1нницы глaсъ в0плz и3 рёша: что2 сeй в0пль вели1кій въ полцЁ є3врeйстэ; И# ўразумёша, ћкw ківHтъ гDень пріи1де въ п0лкъ.	And the Philistines heard the cry, and the Philistines said, What is this great cry in the camp of the Hebrews: and they understood that the ark of the Lord was come into the camp.

И# ўбоsшасz и3ноплемє1нницы и3 рёша: сjи б0зи пріид0ша къ ни6мъ въ п0лкъ: г0ре нaмъ, и3зми1 ны, г0споди, днeсь: ћкw не бhсть тaкw вчерA и3 трeтіzгw днE:	And the Philistines feared, and said, These are the Gods that are come to them into the camp.

г0ре нaмъ, кт0 ны и4зметъ t руки2 богHвъ крёпкихъ си1хъ; сjи сyть б0зи, поби1вшіи є3гЂпта всsкими ћзвами и3 въ пустhни:	Woe to us, O Lord, deliver us to-day, for such a thing has not happened aforetime: woe to us, who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote Egypt with every plague, and in the wilderness.

ўкрэпи1тесz и3 бyдите въ мyжы, и3ноплемє1нницы, ћкw да не пораб0таете є3врewмъ, ћкоже пораб0таша нaмъ, бyдите u5бо въ мyжы и3 бjйтесz съ ни1ми.	Strengthen yourselves and behave yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye may not serve the Hebrews as they have served us, but be ye men and fight with them.

И# би1шасz съ ни1ми: и3 пад0ша мyжіе ї}лєвы пред8 и3ноплемє1нники, и3 побэжE кjйждо въ селeніе своE, и3 бhсть ћзва вели1ка ѕэлw2: и3 падE t ї}лz три1десzть тhсzщъ чинHвъ:	And they fought with them; and the men of Israel fall, and they fled every man to his tent; and there was a very great slaughter; and there fell of Israel thirty thousand fighting men.

и3 ківHтъ б9ій взsтъ бhсть, и3 џба сhны и3л‡ины ўмр0ша, nфнJ и3 фінеeсъ.	And the ark of God was taken, and both the sons of Heli, Ophni and Phinees, died.

И# течE мyжъ t брaни їемінeй, и3 пріи1де въ силHмъ въ дeнь w4нъ, и3 ри6зы сво‰ растерзaвъ, и3 пeрсть бЁ на главЁ є3гw2.	And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the battle, and he came to Selom on that day: and his clothes were rent, and earth was upon his head.

И# пріи1де, и3 сE, и3лjй сэдsше на прест0лэ своeмъ ў двeрій, смотрS на пyть, ћкw бЁ сeрдце є3гw2 во ќжасэ (вели1цэ) њ ківHтэ б9іи. И# человёкъ вни1де во грaдъ возвэщaz: и3 возопи2 вeсь грaдъ глaсомъ вели1кимъ:	And he came, and behold, Heli was upon the seat by the gate looking along the way, for his heart was greatly alarmed for the ark of God: and the man entered into the city to bring tidings; and the city cried out.

и3 слhша и3лjй глaсъ в0плz и3 речE: что2 є4сть глaсъ в0плz сегw2; И# человёкъ потщaвсz вни1де и3 повёда и3лjю.	And Heli heard the sound of the cry, and said, What is the voice of this cry? and the man hasted and went in, and reported to Heli.

И# бЁ и3лjй девzти1десzти nсми2 лётъ, и3 џчи є3гw2 и3знемог0ста, и3 не ви1дzше.	Now Heli was ninety years old, and his eyes were fixed, and he saw not.

И# речE и3лjй мужє1мъ предстоsщымъ себЁ: что2 глaсъ в0плz сегw2; И# мyжъ потщaвсz вни1де ко и3лjю и3 речE є3мY: ѓзъ є4смь пришeдый и3з8 полкA, и3 ѓзъ прибэжaхъ t брaни днeсь. И# речE и3лjй: что2 бhвшій глаг0лъ, чaдо;	And Heli said to them that stood round about him, What is the voice of this sound? And the man hasted and advanced to Heli, and said to him, I am he that is come out of the camp, and I have fled from the battle to-day: and Heli said, What is the event, my son?

И# tвэщA џтрочищь и3 речE: побэжaша мyжіе ї}лєвы t лицA и3ноплемeнникwвъ, и3 ћзва вeліz бhсть въ лю1дехъ, и3 џба сhны тво‰ ўмр0ша, и3 ківHтъ б9ій взsтъ є4сть.	And the young man answered and said, The men of Israel fled from the face of the Philistines, and there was a great slaughter among the people, and both thy sons are dead, and the ark of God is taken.

И# бhсть є3гдA помzнY њ ківHтэ б9іи, и3 падE (и3лjй) съ прест0ла взнaкъ бли1з8 двeрій, и3 сокруши1сz хребeтъ є3гw2, и3 ќмре, ћкw стaръ бЁ человёкъ и3 тsжекъ: и3 т0й суди2 ї}леви четhредесzть лётъ.	And it came to pass, when he mentioned the ark of God, that he fell from the seat backward near the gate, and his back was broken, and he died, for he was an old man and heavy: and he judged Israel twenty years.

И# снохA є3гw2 женA фінеeсова зачeншаz роди1ти, и3 слhша вёсть, ћкw взsтъ бhсть ківHтъ б9ій и3 ћкw ќмре свeкоръ є3S и3 мyжъ є3S, и3 восплaкасz (г0рькw), и3 роди2, ћкw њбрати1шасz на ню2 бwлёзни є3S.	And his daughter-in-law the wife of Phinees was with child, about to bring forth; and she heard the tidings, that the ark of God was taken, and that her father-in-law and her husband were dead; and she wept and was delivered, for her pains came upon her.

И# во врeмz, внегдA ўмирaше, рёша є4й жєны2 предстоsщыz є4й: не б0йсz, ћкw сhна родилA є3си2. И# не tвэщA, и3 не разумЁ сeрдце є3S.	And in her time she was at the point of death; and the women that stood by her, said to her, Fear not, for thou hast born a son: but she answered not, and her heart did not regard it.

И# наречE џтрочища ўехавHfъ: и3 рёша њ ківHтэ б9іи и3 њ свeкрэ є3S и3 њ мyжи є3S: пресели1сz слaва t ї}лz, ћкw взsтсz ківHтъ гDень, и3 ћкw ќмре свeкоръ є3S и3 мyжъ є3S.	And she called the child Uæbarchaboth, because of the ark of God, and because of her father-in-law, and because of her husband.
22	22
И# речE: пресели1сz слaва ї}лева, ћкw взsтъ бhсть ківHтъ б9ій.	And they said, The glory of Israel is departed, forasmuch as the ark of the Lord is taken.
