| Сhнъ nсми2 лётъ бЁ їwсjа, є3гдA начA цaрствовати, и3 три1десzть є3ди1но лёто цaрствова во їеrли1мэ. И$мz же мaтери є3гw2 їедідA, дщи2 є3дeева, t васурHfа. | Josias was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jedia, daughter of Edeia of Basuroth. |

| И# сотвори2 прaвое пред8 nчи1ма гDнима, и3 хождaше во всёхъ путeхъ давjда nтцA своегw2, не соврати1сz ни на дeсно, ни на шyее. | And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of David his father; he turned not aside to the right hand or to the left. |

| И# бhсть во nсмоенaдесzть лёто цaрства їwсjина, въ седмhй мцcъ, послA цaрь сафaна, сhна є3зелjина, сhна месоллaмлz, книг0чію д0му гDнz, глаг0лz: | And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josias, in the eighth month, the king sent Sapphan the son of Ezelias the son of Mesollam, the scribe of the house of the Lord, saying, |

| взhди къ хелкjи жерцY вели1кому и3 запечатлёй сребро2 внесeное въ д0мъ гDень, є4же собрaша стрегyщіи врaтъ t людjй, | Go up to Chelcias the high priest, and take account of the money that is brought into the house of the Lord, which they that keep the door have collected of the people. |

| и3 да дадyтъ є5 въ рyки творsщихъ дэлA пристaвникwмъ въ хрaмэ гDни: да дадsтъ є5 творsщымъ дэлA въ домY гDни, є4же подкрэплsти разсBлины хрaма, | And let them give it into the hand of the workmen that are appointed in the house of the Lord. And he gave it to the workmen in the house of the Lord, to repair the breaches of the house, |

| древодёлємъ и3 каменосёчцємъ и3 покупaющымъ древA и3 кaменіе тeсаное на ўтверждeніе разсёлинъ хрaма. | even to the carpenters, and builders, and masons, and also to purchase timber and hewn stones, to repair the breaches of the house. |

| Nбaче не сочислsху и4хъ њ сребрE даeмэмъ и5мъ, ћкw вёрнw тjи творsху. | Only they did not call them to account for the money that was given to them, because they dealt faithfully. |

| И# речE хелкjа жрeцъ вели1кій ко сафaну книг0чію: кни1гу зак0на (б9іz) њбрэт0хъ въ домY гDни. И# дадE хелкjа кни1гу сафaну, и3 прочтE ю5. | And Chelcias the high priest said to Sapphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Chelcias gave the book to Sapphan, and he read it. |

| И# вни1де въ д0мъ гDень и3 царю2 їwсjи, и3 возвэсти2 царю2 сл0во и3 речE: сліsша раби2 твои2 сребро2 њбрётшеесz въ домY гDни, и3 дaша є5 прист†вницы въ рyки творsщымъ дэлA въ хрaмэ гDни. | And he went into the house of the Lord to the king, and reported the matter to the king, and said, Thy servants have collected the money that was found in the house of the Lord, and have given it into the hand of the workmen that are appointed in the house of the Lord. |

| И# речE сафaнъ книг0чіz къ царю2, глаг0лz кни1гу зак0на дадE ми2 хелкjа жрeцъ. И# прочтE ю5 сафaнъ пред8 царeмъ. | And Sapphan the scribe spoke to the king, saying, Chelcias the priest has given me a book. And Sapphan read it before the king. |

| И# бhсть ћкw ўслhша цaрь словесA кни1ги зак0нныz, и3 раздрA ри6зы сво‰, | And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his garments. |

| и3 заповёда цaрь хелкjи жрецY и3 ґхікaму сhну сафaню, и3 ґховHру сhну міхeину и3 сафaну книг0чію и3 ґсаjю рабY царeву, глаг0лz: | And the king commanded Chelcias the priest, and Achikam the son of Sapphan, and Achobor the son of Michaias, and Sapphan the scribe, and Asaias the king's servant, saying, |

| пріиди1те, и3спроси1те гDа њ мнЁ и3 њ всёхъ лю1дехъ и3 њ всeмъ їyдэ, и3 њ словесёхъ кни1ги њбрётшіzсz сеS, ћкw вели1къ гнёвъ гDень разжжeный на нaсъ, понeже не послyшаша nтцы2 нaши словeсъ кни1ги сеS, є4же твори1ти по всBмъ напи1саннымъ на ны2. | Go, enquire of the Lord for me, and for all the people, and for all Juda, and concerning the words of this book that has been found: for the wrath of the Lord that has been kindled against us is great, because our fathers hearkened not to the words of this book, to do according to all the things written concerning us. |

| И# и4де хелкjа жрeцъ и3 ґхікaмъ, и3 ґховHръ и3 сафaнъ и3 ґсаjасъ ко џлдaмэ прор0чицэ, женЁ сели1ма сhна fекyева, сhна ґрaса ризохрани1телz: и3 сіS живsше во їеrли1мэ въ масeнэ: и3 глаг0лаша къ нeй по семY. | So Chelcias the priest went, and Achicam, and Achobor, and Sapphan, and Asaias, to Olda the prophetess, the mother of Sellem the son of Thecuan son of Aras, keeper of the robes; and she dwelt in Jerusalem in Masena; and they spoke to her. |

| И# речE и5мъ: си1це гlетъ гDь бGъ ї}левъ: рцhте мyжеви послaвшему вы2 ко мнЁ: | And she said to them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Say to the man that sent you to me, |

| тaкw гlетъ гDь: сE, ѓзъ наведY ѕл†z на мёсто сіE и3 на живyщыz въ нeмъ, вс‰ словесA кни6жнаz, ±же прочтE цaрь їyдинъ: | Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I bring evil upon this place, and upon them that dwell in it, even all the words of the book which the king of Juda has read: |

| понeже њстaвиша мS и3 кадsху богHмъ други6мъ, ћкw да прогнёваютъ мS дэлесы2 рyкъ свои1хъ, и3 разжжeтсz ћрость моS на мёсто сіE и3 не ўгaснетъ: | because they have forsaken me, and burnt incense to other gods, that they might provoke me with the works of their hands: therefore my wrath shall burn forth against this place, and shall not be quenched. |

| и3 ко царю2 їyдину послaвшему вaсъ вопроси1ти гDа, си1це рцhте є3мY: тaкw гlетъ гDь бGъ ї}левъ: словесA, ±же слhшалъ є3си2, | And to the king of Juda that sent you to enquire of the Lord,—thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, As for the words which thou hast heard; |

| за сі‰, ћкw ўмzгчи1сz сeрдце твоE и3 смири1лсz є3си2 пред8 лицeмъ гDнимъ, ўслhшавъ є3ли6ка гlахъ на мёсто сіE и3 на живyщыz въ нeмъ, є4же бhти въ погублeніе и3 въ проклsтіе, и3 раздрaлъ є3си2 ри6зы тво‰, и3 плaкалсz предо мн0ю, и3 ѓзъ u5бо ўслhшахъ, гlетъ гDь: | because thy heart was softened, and thou wast humbled before me, when thou heardest all that I spoke against this place, and against the inhabitants of it, that it should be utterly destroyed and accursed, and thou didst rend thy garments, and weep before me; I also have heard, saith the Lord. |

| сегw2 рaди ѓзъ приложY тS ко nтцє1мъ твои6мъ, и3 соберeшисz во гр0бъ тв0й въ ми1рэ, и3 не ќзриши nчи1ма твои1ма всёхъ ѕлhхъ, ±же ѓзъ и4мамъ навести2 на мёсто сіE и3 на живyщыz въ нeмъ. | It shall not be so therefore: behold, I will add thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy tomb in peace, and thine eyes shall not see any among all the evils which I bring upon this place. |
