| И# возвэсти1ша сі‰ глаг0лы царeви: и3 послA цaрь, и3 собрA къ себЁ вс‰ старBйшины їyдины и3 їеrли1млzны, | So they reported the word to the king: and the king sent and gathered all the elders of Juda and Jerusalem to himself. |

| и3 вни1де цaрь въ д0мъ гDень, и3 вси2 мyжіе їyдины и3 вси2 живyщіи во їеrли1мэ съ ни1мъ, и3 жерцы2, и3 прbр0цы, и3 вси2 лю1діе t мaла и3 до вели1ка, и3 прочтE во ўшесA и4хъ вс‰ словесA кни1ги завёта њбрётшіzсz въ домY гDни: | And the king went up to the house of the Lord, and every man of Juda and all who dwelt in Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people small and great; and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the Lord. |

| и3 стA цaрь ў столпA и3 завэщA завётъ пред8 гDемъ, є4же ходи1ти вслёдъ гDа и3 храни1ти зaпwвэди є3гw2 и3 свидBніz є3гw2 и3 њправд†ніz є3гw2 всёмъ сeрдцемъ и3 всeю душeю, є4же возстaвити словесA завёта сегw2, ±же пи6сана въ кни1зэ сeй. И# стaша вси2 лю1діе въ завётэ. | And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his ordinances with all the heart and with all the soul, to confirm the words of this covenant; even the things written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant. |

| И# заповёда цaрь хелкjи жерцY вели1кому и3 жерцє1мъ вторы6мъ и3 стрегyщымъ врaтъ и3знести2 t хрaма гDнz вс‰ сосyды сотворє1ныz ваaлу и3 дубрaвэ и3 всeй си1лэ небeснэй, и3 сожжE и3 внЁ їеrли1ма въ садимHfэ кeдрстэ и3 и3звeрже прaхъ и4хъ въ веfи1ль: | And the king commanded Chelcias the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and them that kept the door, to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and all the host of heaven, and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kedron, and took the ashes of them to Bæthel. |

| и3 сожжE хwмарjмы, и5хже дaша цaріе їyдины, и3 кадsху въ выс0кихъ и3 во градёхъ їyдиныхъ и3 во њкрeстныхъ їеrли1ма, и3 кадsщихъ ваaлу, и3 с0лнцу, и3 лунЁ, и3 планeтамъ и3 всeй си1лэ небeснэй: | And he burned the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Juda had appointed, (and they burned incense in the high places and in the cities of Juda, and the places round about Jerusalem); and them that burned incense to Baal, and to the sun, and to the moon, and to Mazuroth, and to all the host of heaven. |

| и3 и3знесE кумjръ и3з8 хрaма гDнz внЁ їеrли1ма на пот0къ кeдрскъ, и3 сожжE є3го2 въ пот0цэ кeдрстэ, и3 и3стни2 въ прaхъ, и3 ввeрже прaхъ и5хъ въ гр0бы сынHвъ людски1хъ: | And he carried out the grove from the house of the Lord to the brook Kedron, and burned it at the brook Kedron, and reduced it to powder, and cast its powder on the sepulchres of the sons of the people. |

| и3 разруши2 хрaмъ кадисjмwвъ, и4же бЁ въ хрaмэ гDни, и3дёже жєны2 прzдsху ри6зы кумjру: | And he pulled down the house of the sodomites that were by the house of the Lord, where the women wove tents for the grove. |

| и3 возведE вс‰ жерцы2 t градHвъ їyдиныхъ, и3 њскверни2 высHкаz, и3дёже кадsху жерцы2, t гаваи2 да вирсавeи: и3 разруши2 хрaмъ врaтъ, и4же бЁ при двeрехъ врaтъ їисyса кнsзz грaднагw, и4же њшyюю входsщымъ двeрми грaда. | And he brought up all the priests from the cities of Juda, and defiled the high places where the priests burned incense, from Gæbal even to Bersabee; and he pulled down the house of the gates that was by the door of the gate of Joshua the ruler of the city, on a man's left hand at the gate of the city. |

| Nбaче не вхождaху жерцы2 выс0кихъ ко nлтарю2 гDню во їеrли1мэ, но т0кмw kдsху њпрэсн0ки посредЁ брaтіи своеS. | Only the priests of the high places went not up to the altar of the Lord in Jerusalem, for they only ate leavened bread in the midst of their brethren. |

| И# њскверни2 тафefа, и4же въ дeбри сынHвъ є3нHмлихъ, є4же не превести2 мyжу сhна своегw2 и3 мyжу дщeре своеS мол0ху сквозЁ џгнь: | And he defiled Tapheth which is in the valley of the son of Ennom, constructed for a man to cause his son or his daughter to pass through fire to Moloch. |

| и3 сожжE к0ни, и5хже дaша цaріе ї{дины с0лнцу во вх0дэ хрaму гDнz, при влагaлищи наfaна, царeва скопцA во фарурjмэ: и3 колесни1цу с0лнечную сожжE nгнeмъ: | And he burned the horses which the kings of Juda had given to the sun in the entrance of the house of the Lord, by the treasury of Nathan the king's eunuch, in the suburbs; and he burned the chariot of the sun with fire. |

| и3 nлтари6, ±же на кр0вэ г0рницы ґхaзовы, ±же сотвори1ша цaріе їyдины и3 nлтари6, и5же создA манассjа во двою2 дворY хрaма гDнz, раскопA цaрь, и3 свeрже tтyду, и3 всhпа прaхъ и5хъ въ пот0къ кeдрскъ: | And the altars that were on the roof of the upper chamber of Achaz, which the kings of Juda had made, and the altars which Manasses had made in the two courts of the house of the Lord, did the king pull down and forcibly remove from thence, and cast their dust into the brook of Kedron. |

| и3 хрaмъ, и4же пред8 лицeмъ їеrли1ма, њдеснyю горы2 мосfafъ, є3г0же создA соломHнъ цaрь ї}левъ ґстaртэ мeрзости сідHнстэй и3 хамHсу мeрзости мwaвли и3 молх0лу мeрзости сынHвъ ґммHнихъ, њскверни2 цaрь: | And the king defiled the house that was before Jerusalem, on the right hand of the mount of Mosthath, which Solomon king of Israel built to Astarte the abomination of the Sidonians, and to Chamos the abomination of Moab, and to Moloch the abomination of the children of Ammon. |

| и3 сокруши2 столпы2, и3 и3скорени2 дубр†вы, и3 нап0лни мэстA и4хъ костми2 человёческими: | And he broke in pieces the pillars, and utterly destroyed the groves, and filled their places with the bones of men. |

| и3 nлтaрь и4же во веfи1ли выс0кій, є3г0же сотвори2 їеровоaмъ сhнъ навaтовъ, и4же въ грёхъ введE ї}лz, и3 nлтaрь т0й выс0кій раскопA, и3 сокруши2 кaменіе є3гw2, и3 и3стни2 въ прaхъ, и3 сожжE кумjры. | Also the high altar in Bæthel, which Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin, had made, even that high altar he tore down, and broke in pieces the stones of it, and reduced it to powder, and burnt the grove. |

| И# восклони1сz їwсjа, и3 ви1дэ гр0бы сyщыz во грaдэ тaмw, и3 послA, и3 взS кHсти t грHбъ, и3 сожжE на nлтари2, и3 њскверни2 є3го2 по гlу гDню, є3г0же глаг0ла человёкъ б9ій, є3гдA стоsше їеровоaмъ въ прaздникъ пред8 nлтарeмъ: и3 њбрaщьсz возведE џчи свои2 на гр0бъ человёка б9іz глаг0лавшагw словесA сі‰. | And Josias turned aside, and saw the tombs that were there in the city, and sent, and took the bones out of the tombs, and burnt them on the altar, and defiled it, according to the word of the Lord which the man of God spoke, when Jeroboam stood by the altar at the feast: and he turned and raised his eyes to the tomb of the man of God that spoke these words. |

| и3 речE: что2 моги1ла сі‰, ю4же ѓзъ ви1жду; И# рёша є3мY мyжіе грaда: гр0бъ сeй человёка б9іz є4сть, и4же пріи1де t їyды и3 проглаг0ла словесA сі‰, ±же сотвори1лъ є3си2 нн7э над8 nлтарeмъ, и4же въ веfи1ли. | And he said, What is that mound which I see? And the men of the city said to him, It is the grave of the man of God that came out of Juda, and uttered these imprecations which he imprecated upon the altar of Bæthel. |

| И# речE: њстaвите є3го2, да не подви1жетъ ни є3ди1нъ мyжъ костeй є3гw2. И# њстaвиша кHсти є3гw2 съ костьми2 прор0ка пришeдшагw t самарjи. | And he said, Let him alone; let no one disturb his bones. So his bones were spared, together with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria. |

| Е#щE и3 вс‰ хрaмы выс0кихъ сyщихъ во градёхъ самарjйскихъ, ±же сотвори1ша цaріе ї}лєвы прогнэвлsюще гDа, tвeрже їwсjа, и3 сотвори2 и5мъ вс‰ дэлA, ±же сотвори2 въ веfи1ли, | Moreover Josias removed all the houses of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel made to provoke the Lord, and did to them all that he did in Bæthel. |

| и3 заклA вс‰ жерцы2 выс0кихъ сyщыz тaмw пред8 nлтарми2, и3 сожжE на ни1хъ к0сти человёчи, и3 возврати1сz во їеrли1мъ. | And he sacrificed all the priests of the high places that were there on the altars, and burnt the bones of men upon them, and returned to Jerusalem. |

| И# заповёда цaрь всeмъ лю1демъ, глаг0лz: сотвори1те пaсху гDеви бGу нaшему, ћкоже пи1сано въ кни1зэ завёта сегw2: | And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover to the Lord your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant. |

| ћкw не бhсть пaсха сіS t днjй судjй, и4же суди1ша ї}леви, и3 во всёхъ днeхъ царeй ї}левыхъ и3 царeй їyдиныхъ: | For a passover such as this had not been kept from the days of the judges who judged Israel, even all the days of the kings of Israel, and of the kings of Juda. |

| но т0кмw во nсмоенaдесzть лёто царS їwсjи бhсть пaсха гDу во їеrли1мэ. | But in the eighteenth year of king Josias, was the passover kept to the Lord in Jerusalem. |

| Е#щE и3 волшeбники, и3 вражби1ты, и3 fерафjмы, и3 кумjры, и3 вс‰ мeрзwсти бhвшыz въ земли2 їyдинэ и3 во їеrли1мэ, и3скорени2 цaрь їwсjа, да ўтверди1тъ словесA закHннаz пи6саннаz въ кни1зэ, ю4же њбрёте хелкjа жрeцъ въ хрaмэ гDни. | Moreover Josias removed the sorcerers, and the wizards, and the theraphin, and the idols, and all the abominations that had been set up in the land of Juda and in Jerusalem, that he might keep the words of the law that were written in the book, which Chelcias the priest found in the house of the Lord. |

| Под0бенъ є3мY не бhсть пред8 ни1мъ цaрь, и5же њбрати1сz къ гDеви всёмъ сeрдцемъ свои1мъ и3 всeю душeю своeю и3 всeю си1лою своeю по всемY зак0ну мwmсeову, и3 по нeмъ не востA под0бенъ є3мY. | There was no king like him before him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his strength, according to all the law of Moses; and after him there rose not one like him. |

| Nбaче не tврати1сz гDь t ћрости гнёва своегw2 вели1кагw, и4мже воз8zри1сz гнёвомъ на їyду, на прогнBваніz, и4миже прогнёва є3го2 манассjа, | Nevertheless the Lord turned not from the fierceness of his great anger, wherewith he was wroth in his anger against Juda, because of the provocations, wherewith Manasses provoked him. |

| и3 речE гDь: є3щE и3 їyду tри1ну t лицA моегw2, ћкоже tри1нухъ ї}лz, и3 грaдъ сeй tвeргу, є3г0же и3збрaхъ, їеrли1ма, и3 хрaмъ, њ нeмже рёхъ: бyдетъ и4мz моE тY. | And the Lord said, I will also remove Juda from my presence, as I removed Israel, and will reject this city which I have chosen, even Jerusalem, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there. |

| И# прHчаz словeсъ їwсjевыхъ, и3 вс‰ є3ли6ка сотвори2, не сі‰ ли напи6сана въ кни1зэ словeсъ днjй царей їyдиныхъ; | And the rest of the acts of Josias, and all that he did, are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda? |

| Во днeхъ же є3гw2 взhде фараHнъ нехаw2 цaрь є3гЂпетскъ на царS ґссmрjйска на рекY є3vфрaтъ: и3 и3зhде цaрь їwсjа на срётеніе є3мY, и3 ўби2 є3го2 нехаw2 цaрь въ магеддHнэ, є3гдA є3го2 ўзрЁ. | And in his days went up Pharao Nechao king of Egypt against the king of the Assyrians to the river Euphrates: and Josias went out to meet him: and Nechao slew him in Mageddo when he saw him. |

| И# взsша є3го2 џтроцы є3гw2 мeртва и3з8 магеддHна и3 принес0ша є3го2 во їеrли1мъ, и3 погреб0ша є3го2 во гр0бэ є3гw2 во грaдэ давjдовэ. И# поsша лю1діе земли2 тоS їwахaза сhна їwсjина и3 помaзаша є3го2, и3 воцари1ша є3го2 вмёстw nтцA є3гw2. | And his servants carried him dead from Mageddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre: and the people of the land took Joachaz the son of Josias, and anointed him, and made him king in the room of his father. |

| Сhнъ двaдесzти и3 тріeхъ лётъ бЁ їwахaзъ, внегдA начA цaрствовати и3 три2 мцcы цaрствова во їеrли1мэ. И$мz же мaтери є3гw2 ґмітaла, дщи2 їеремjи и3з8 ловны2. | Twenty and three years old was Joachaz when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Amital, daughter of Jeremias of Lobna. |

| И# сотвори2 лукaвое пред8 nчи1ма гDнима, по всBмъ є3ли6ка сотвори1ша nтцы2 є3гw2. | And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his fathers did. |

| И# пресели2 є3го2 фараHнъ нехаw2 въ ревлaамъ въ зeмлю є3мafъ, да не цaрствуетъ во їеrли1мэ, и3 возложи2 дaнь на зeмлю тY сто2 тал†нтъ сребрA и3 сто2 тал†нтъ злaта. | And Pharao Nechao removed him to Rablaam in the land of Emath, so that he should not reign in Jerusalem; and imposed a tribute on the land, a hundred talents of silver, and a hundred talents of gold. |

| И# постaви царeмъ фараHнъ нехаw2 над8 ни1ми є3ліакjма, сhна їwсjи царS їyдина, вмёстw їwсjи nтцA є3гw2, и3 премэни2 и4мz є3мY їwакjмъ: їwахaза же взS и3 введE во є3гЂпетъ и3 ќмре тaмw. | And Pharao Nechao made Eliakim son of Josias king of Juda king over them in the place of his father Josias, and he changed his name to Joakim, and he took Joachaz and brought him to Egypt, and he died there. |

| И# сребро2 и3 злaто дадE їwакjмъ фараHну, nбaче написA зeмлю даsти сребро2 по словеси2 фараHню: мyжъ по њцэнeнію своемY даsше сребро2 и3 злaто t людjй земли2 тоS даsти фараHну нехаw2. | And Joakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharao; but he assessed the land to give the money at the command of Pharao: they gave the silver and the gold each man according to his assessment together with the people of the land to give to Pharao Nechao. |
