И# вни1де къ немY (и3 речE є3мY: tвэщaй ми2, царю2, нн7э сyдъ сeй:) и3 речE є3мY: двA м{жа бёста во є3ди1нэмъ грaдэ, є3ди1нъ богaтъ, ґ другjй ўб0гъ:	And the Lord sent Nathan the prophet to David; and he went in to him, and said to him, There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor.

и3 ў богaтагw стадA бsху и3 бyйволи мн0зи ѕэлw2,	And the rich man had very many flocks and herds.

ў ўб0гагw же ничт0же бЁ, но т0кмw ѓгница є3ди1на мaла, ю4же стzжA и3 снабдЁ, и3 вскорми2 ю5, и3 возрастE съ ни1мъ и3 съ сынaми є3гw2 вкyпэ: t хлёба є3гw2 kдsше и3 t чaши є3гw2 піsше, и3 на л0нэ є3гw2 почивaше, и3 бЁ є3мY ћкw дщeрь:	But the poor man had only one little ewe lamb, which he had purchased, and preserved, and reared; and it grew up with himself and his children in common; it ate of his bread and drank of his cup, and slept in his bosom, and was to him as a daughter.

и3 пріи1де нёкто съ пути2 къ мyжу богaтому, и3 не восхотЁ взsти t стaдъ свои1хъ и3 t бyйволицъ свои1хъ на сотворeніе њбёда пyтнику пришeдшу къ немY: но взS ѓгницу ўб0гагw, и3 ўгот0ва ю5 на њбёдъ мyжу пришeдшу къ немY.	And a traveller came to the rich man, and he spared to take of his flocks and of his herds, to dress for the traveller that came to him; and he took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that came to him.

И# разгнёвасz гнёвомъ ѕэлw2 давjдъ на мyжа (того2), и3 речE давjдъ къ наfaну: жи1въ гDь, ћкw сhнъ смeрти є4сть мyжъ сотвори1вый сіE:	And David was greatly moved with anger against the man; and David said to Nathan, As the Lord lives, the man that did this thing shall surely die.

и3 ѓгницу возврати1тъ седмери1цею за сіE, ћкw сотвори1лъ глаг0лъ сeй, и3 за сіE, ћкw не пощадЁ.	And he shall restore the lamb seven-fold, because he has not spared.

И# речE наfaнъ къ давjду: ты2 є3си2 мyжъ сотвори1вый сіE: сі‰ гlетъ гDь бGъ ї}левъ: ѓзъ є4смь помaзавый тS въ царS над8 ї}лемъ, и3 ѓзъ є4смь и3збaвивый тS t руки2 саyловы:	And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man that has done this. Thus says the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee to be king over Israel, and I rescued thee out of the hand of Saul;

и3 дaхъ ти2 д0мъ господи1на твоегw2 и3 жєны2 господи1на твоегw2 на л0но твоE, и3 дaхъ ти2 д0мъ ї}левъ и3 їyдинъ: и3 ѓще мaло ти2 є4сть, приложY тебЁ къ си6мъ:	and I gave thee the house of thy lord, and the wives of thy lord into thy bosom, and I gave to thee the house of Israel and Juda; and if that had been little, I would have given thee yet more.

и3 что2 ћкw презрёлъ є3си2 сл0во гDне, є4же сотвори1ти лукaвое пред8 nчи1ма є3гw2; ўрjю хеттeанина ўби1лъ є3си2 мечeмъ, и3 женY є3гw2 поsлъ є3си2 себЁ въ женY, и3 того2 ўби1лъ є3си2 мечeмъ сынHвъ ґммHнихъ:	Why hast thou set at nought the word of the Lord, to do that which is evil in his eyes? thou hast slain Urias the Chettite with the sword, and thou hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and thou hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

и3 нн7э не tстyпитъ мeчь t д0му твоегw2 до вёка: занE ўничижи1лъ мS є3си2 и3 поsлъ є3си2 женY ўрjи хеттeанина въ женY себЁ:	Now therefore the sword shall not depart from thy house for ever, because thou hast set me at nought, and thou hast taken the wife of Urias the Chettite, to be thy wife.

сі‰ гlетъ гDь: сE, ѓзъ воздви1гну на тS ѕл†z t д0му твоегw2, и3 возмY жєны2 тво‰ пред8 nчи1ма твои1ма и3 дaмъ бли1жнему твоемY, и3 бyдетъ спaти со женaми твои1ми пред8 с0лнцемъ си1мъ:	Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will raise up against thee evil out of thy house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and will give them to thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

ћкw ты2 сотвори1лъ є3си2 втaйнэ, ѓзъ же сотворю2 гlг0лъ сeй пред8 всёмъ ї}лемъ и3 пред8 с0лнцемъ си1мъ.	For thou didst it secretly, but I will do this thing in the sight of all Israel, and before this sun.

И# речE давjдъ къ наfaну: согрэши1хъ ко гDу. И# речE наfaнъ къ давjду: и3 гDь tS согрэшeніе твоE, не ќмреши:	And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David, And the Lord has put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

nбaче ћкw поwщрsz и3з8wстри1лъ є3си2 врагHвъ гDнихъ глаг0ломъ си1мъ, и3 сhнъ тв0й роди1выйсz тебЁ смeртію ќмретъ.	Only because thou hast given great occasion of provocation to the enemies of the Lord by this thing, thy son also that is born to thee shall surely die.

И# tи1де наfaнъ въ д0мъ св0й. И# сокруши2 гDь дётище, є4же роди2 женA ўрjина давjду, и3 разболёсz.	And Nathan departed to his house. And the Lord smote the child, which the wife of Urias the Chettite bore to David, and it was ill.

И# взыскA давjдъ бGа њ дётищи, и3 пости1сz давjдъ пост0мъ, и3 вни1де и3 водвори1сz, и3 лежaше на земли2:	And David enquired of God concerning the child, and David fasted, and went in and lay all night upon the ground.

и3 внид0ша къ немY старBйшины д0му є3гw2 воздви1гнути є3го2 t земли2, и3 не восхотЁ, и3 не kдE съ ни1ми хлёба.	And the elders of his house arose and went to him to raise him up from the ground, but he would not rise, nor did he eat bread with them.

И# бhсть въ дeнь седмhй, и3 ќмре nтрочA. И# ўбоsшасz раби2 давjдwвы повёдати є3мY, ћкw ќмре nтрочA, рёша бо: сE, є3гдA nтрочA є3щE жи1во бsше, глаг0лахомъ къ немY, и3 не послyша глaса нaшегw: и3 кaкw речeмъ къ немY, ћкw ќмре nтрочA, и3 сотвори1тъ ѕл†z;	And it came to pass on the seventh day that the child died: and the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead; for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive we spoke to him, and he hearkened not to our voice; and how should we tell him that the child is dead?—so would he do himself harm.

И# разумЁ давjдъ, ћкw џтроцы є3гw2 шeпчутъ, и3 познA давjдъ, ћкw ќмре nтрочA. И# речE давjдъ nтрокHмъ свои6мъ: ќмре ли nтрочA; и3 рёша: ќмре.	And David understood that his servants were whispering, and David perceived that the child was dead: and David said to his servants, Is the child dead? and they said, He is dead.

И# востA давjдъ t земли2, и3 ўмhсz и3 помaзасz, и3 и3змэни2 ри6зы сво‰, и3 вни1де въ д0мъ б9ій, и3 поклони1сz є3мY, и3 вни1де въ д0мъ св0й, и3 проси2 ћсти хлёба, и3 предложи1ша є3мY хлёбъ, и3 kдE.	Then David rose up from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his raiment, and went into the house of God, and worshipped him; and went into his own house, and called for bread to eat, and they set bread before him and he ate.

И# рёша џтроцы є3гw2 къ немY: что2 глаг0лъ сeй, є3г0же сотвори1лъ є3си2 nтрочaте рaди, ћкw є3щE сyщу nтрочaти жи1ву, пости1лсz є3си2 и3 плaкалъ и3 бдёлъ є3си2: є3гдa же ќмре nтрочA, востaлъ, и3 ћлъ є3си2 хлёбъ, и3 пи1лъ є3си2;	And his servants said to him, What is this thing that thou hast done concerning the child? while it was yet living thou didst fast, and weep, and watch: and when the child was dead thou didst rise up, and didst eat bread, and drink.

И# речE давjдъ: є3гдA бЁ nтрочA є3щE жи1во, пости1хсz и3 плaкахъ, ћкw рёхъ: кто2 вёсть, поми1луетъ ли мS гDь и3 жи1во бyдетъ nтрочA;	And David said, While the child yet lived, I fasted and wept; for I said, Who knows if the Lord will pity me, and the child live?

нн7э же ќмре, почто2 мнЁ пости1тисz; є3дA возмогY возврати1ти є5 ктомY; ѓзъ и4мамъ и3ти2 къ немY, т0е же не возврати1тсz ко мнЁ.	But now it is dead, why should I fast thus? shall I be able to bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

И# ўтёши давjдъ вирсавjю женY свою2, и3 вни1де къ нeй и3 спA съ нeю, и3 зачA и3 роди2 сhна, и3 наречE и4мz є3мY соломHнъ: и3 гDь возлюби2 є3го2.	And David comforted Bersabee his wife, and he went in to her, and lay with her; and she conceived and bore a son, and he called his name Solomon, and the Lord loved him.

И# послA рук0ю наfaна прbр0ка, и3 наречE и4мz є3мY їеддедJ сл0вомъ гDнимъ.	And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet, and called his name Jeddedi, for the Lord's sake.

Їwaвъ же воевA въ раввafэ сынHвъ ґммHнихъ и3 взS грaдъ цaрства.	And Joab fought against Rabbath of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city.

И# послA їwaвъ вёстники къ давjду и3 речE: воевaхъ на раввafъ и3 взsхъ грaдъ в0дъ:	And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbath, and taken the city of waters.

и3 нн7э собери2 њстaнокъ людjй и3 њполчи1сz на грaдъ, и3 пріими2 є3го2, да не ѓзъ возмY грaдъ, и3 наречeтсz и4мz моE на нeмъ.	And now gather the rest of the people, and encamp against the city, and take it beforehand; lest I take the city first, and my name be called upon it.

И# собрA давjдъ вс‰ лю1ди, и3 п0йде въ раввafъ, и3 њполчи1сz нaнь, и3 взS є3го2:	And David gathered all the people, and went to Rabbath, and fought against it, and took it.

и3 взS вэнeцъ молх0ма царS и4хъ съ главы2 є3гw2, талaнтъ злaта вёсъ є3гw2, и3 t кaменіz дрaга, и3 бЁ на главЁ давjдовэ, и3 корhсть и3знесE и3з8 грaда мн0гу ѕэлw2:	And he took the crown of Molchom their king from off his head, and the weight of it was a talent of gold, with precious stones, and it was upon the head of David; and he carried forth very much spoil of the city.

и3 лю1ди сyщыz въ нeмъ и3зведE, и3 положи2 на пилы6 и3 на трезyбы желBзны и3 сэки6ры жєлёзны, и3 превождaше и5хъ сквозЁ пeщь плjнfzну. И# тaкw сотвори2 всBмъ градHмъ сынHвъ ґммHнихъ. И# возврати1сz давjдъ и3 вeсь ї}ль во їеrли1мъ.	And he brought forth the people that were in it, and put them under the saw, and under iron harrows, and axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick-kiln: and thus he did to all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
