Chapter 2
1
1
И# вaсъ сyщихъ прегрэшeньми мeртвыхъ и3 грэхи6 вaшими, And you did he make alive, when ye were dead in trespasses and sins,
2
2
въ ни1хже и3ногдA ходи1сте по вёку мjра сегw2, по кнsзю влaсти воздyшныz, дyха, и4же нн7э дёйствуетъ въ сынёхъ противлeніz, wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience;
3
3
въ ни1хже и3 мы2 вси2 жи1хомъ и3ногдA въ п0хотехъ пл0ти нaшеz, творsще в0лю пл0ти и3 помышлeній, и3 бёхомъ є3стеств0мъ ч†да гнёва, ћкоже и3 пр0чіи: among whom we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest—
4
4
©к7.) бGъ же, богaтъ сhй въ млcти, за премн0гую люб0вь свою2, є4юже возлюби2 нaсъ, but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5
5
и3 сyщихъ нaсъ мeртвыхъ прегрэшeньми, соwживи2 хrт0мъ: блгdтію є3стE спасeни: even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved),
6
6
и3 съ ни1мъ воскRси2, и3 спосади2 на нбcныхъ во хrтЁ ї}сэ, and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus:
7
7
да kви1тъ въ вёцэхъ грzдyщихъ преѕёлное богaтство блгdти своеS бlгостhнею на нaсъ њ хrтЁ ї}сэ. that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus:
8
8
Блгdтію бо є3стE спасeни чрез8 вёру: и3 сіE не t вaсъ, б9ій дaръ: for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9
9
не t дёлъ, да никт0же похвaлитсz. not of works, that no man should glory.
10
10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.
11
11
(За?.) Тёмже поминaйте, ћкw вы2, и5же и3ногдA kзhцы во пл0ти, глаг0леміи неwбрёзаніе t рек0магw њбрёзаніz во пл0ти, рукотворeннагw, Wherefore remember that ye, once Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called Circumcision, in the flesh, made by hands;
12
12
ћкw бёсте во врeмz џно без8 хrтA, tчуждeни житіS ї}лева и3 чyжди t завBтъ њбэтовaніz, ўповaніz не и3мyще и3 безб0жни въ мjрэ: that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
13
13
But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ.
14
14
©к7№.) For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,
15
15
враждY пlтію своeю, зак0нъ зaповэдій ўчeньми ўпраздни1въ, да џба сози1ждетъ соб0ю во є3ди1наго н0ваго человёка, творS ми1ръ, having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace;
16
16
и3 примири1тъ nбои1хъ во є3ди1нэмъ тёлэ бGови кrт0мъ, ўби1въ враждY на нeмъ: and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17
17
и3 пришeдъ благовэсти2 ми1ръ вaмъ, д†льнимъ и3 бли6жнимъ, and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and to them that were nigh:
18
18
7Y. for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father.
19
19
©к7в7.) So then ye are no more strangers and sojourners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,
20
20
наздaни бhвше на њсновaніи ґпcлъ и3 прbрHкъ, сyщу краеуг0лну самомY ї}су хrтY, being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone;
21
21
њ нeмже всsко создaніе составлsемо растeтъ въ цRковь с™yю њ гDэ: in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord;
22
22
њ нeмже и3 вы2 созидaетесz въ жили1ще б9іе д¦омъ. in whom ye also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
