Chapter 7
1
1
™е7‹.) 2, | For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, |
2
2
| є3мyже и3 десzти1ну t всёхъ tдэли2 ґвраaмъ, пeрвэе ќбw сказyетсz цRь прaвды, пот0мъ же цRь сали1мскій, є4же є4сть, цRь ми1ра, | to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, King of righteousness, and then also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; |
3
3
| without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of God), abideth a priest continually. |
4
4
| Ви1дите же, є3ли1къ сeй, є3мyже и3 десzти1ну дaлъ є4сть ґвраaмъ патріaрхъ t и3збрaнныхъ. | Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth out of the chief spoils. |
5
5
| И# пріeмлющіи ќбw свzщeнство t сынHвъ леv‡инъ зaповэдь и4мутъ њдесsтствовати лю1ди по зак0ну, си1рэчь, брaтію свою2, ѓще и3 t чрeслъ ґвраaмовыхъ и3зшeдшую: | And they indeed of the sons of Levi that receive the priest’s office have commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though these have come out of the loins of Abraham: |
6
6
2: | but he whose genealogy is not counted from them hath taken tithes of Abraham, and hath blessed him that hath the promises. |
7
7
™ѕ7‹.) | But without any dispute the less is blessed of the better. |
8
8
| And here men that die receive tithes; but there one, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. |
9
9
| И# да си1це рекY, ґвраaмомъ и3 леvjй, пріeмлzй десzти6ны, десzти6ны дaлъ є4сть: | And, so to say, through Abraham even Levi, who receiveth tithes, hath paid tithes; |
10
10
| for he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchizedek met him. |
11
11
| Ѓще ќбw совершeнство леvjтскимъ свzщeнствомъ бhло, лю1діе бо на нeмъ взак0нени бhша: кaz є3щE потрeба по чи1ну мелхіседeкову и3н0му востaти свzщeннику, ґ не по чи1ну ґарHнову глаг0латисz; | Now if there was perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it had the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be reckoned after the order of Aaron? |
12
12
| For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. |
13
13
2: | For he of whom these things are said belongeth to another tribe, from which no man hath given attendance at the altar. |
14
14
| For it is evident that our Lord hath sprung out of Judah; as to which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. |
15
15
| И# ли1шше є3щE ћвэ є4сть, ћкw по под0бію мелхіседeкову востаeтъ сщ7eнникъ и4нъ, | And what we say is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there ariseth another priest, |
16
16
| и4же не по зак0ну зaповэди плотскjz бhсть, но по си1лэ животA неразрушaемагw. | who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life: |
17
17
| for he testifieth of him, Thou art a priest forever After the order of Melchizedek. |
18
18
™з7‹.) Tлагaніе ќбw бывaетъ прeжде бhвшіz зaповэди за нeмощное є3S и3 неполeзное: | For there is a disannulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness |
19
19
| (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in thereupon of a better hope, through which we draw nigh unto God. |
20
20
| И# по є3ли1ку не без8 клsтвы: | And inasmuch as it is not without the taking of an oath (for they indeed have been made priests without an oath; |
21
21
| nни1 бо без8 клsтвы свzщeнницы бhша, сeй же съ клsтвою чрез8 глаг0лющаго къ немY: клsтсz гDь и3 не раскaетсz: ты2 є3си2 сщ7eнникъ во вёкъ по чи1ну мелхіседeкову: | but he with an oath by him that saith of him, The Lord sware and will not repent himself, Thou art a priest forever After the order of Melchizedek); |
22
22
| by so much hath Jesus become the surety of a better covenant. |
23
23
| И# nни2 мн0жайши свzщeнницы бhша, занE смeртію возбранeни сyть пребывaти: | And they indeed have been made priests many in number, because that by death they are hindered from continuing: |
24
24
| сeй же, занeже пребывaетъ во вёки, непрестyпное и4мать сщ7eнство, | but he, because he abideth forever, hath his priesthood unchangeable. |
25
25
| тёмже и3 спcти2 до концA м0жетъ приходsщихъ чрез8 него2 къ бGу, всегдA жи1въ сhй, во є4же ходaтайствовати њ ни1хъ. | Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. |
26
26
™}‹.) Так0въ бо нaмъ подобaше ґрхіерeй: прпdбенъ, неѕл0бивъ, безсквeрненъ, tлучeнъ t грBшникъ и3 вhшше нб7съ бhвый, | For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; |
27
27
| who needeth not daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself. |
28
28
| For the law appointeth men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the law, appointeth a Son, perfected forevermore. |
