Е#гдa же ўслhшаша вси2 цaріе ґморрeйстіи, и5же њб8 nнY странY їoрдaна, и5же въ г0рнэй и3 и5же въ рaвнэй, и3 и5же во всeмъ прим0ріи м0рz вели1кагw и3 и5же при ґнтілівaнэ, и3 хеттє1и и3 ґморрє1и, и3 гергесє1и и3 хананє1и, и3 ферезє1и и3 є3vє1и и3 їевусє1и,	And when the kings of the Amorites on the other side of Jordan, who were in the mountain country, and in the plain, and in all the coast of the great sea, and those who were near Antilibanus, and the Chettites, and the Chananites, and the Pherezites, and the Evites, and the Amorites, and the Gergesites, and the Jebusites, heard of it,

снид0шасz вкyпэ сэщи1сz со їисyсомъ и3 со ї}лемъ є3диномhсленнw.	they came all together at the same time to make war against Joshua and Israel.

И# живyщіи въ х0лмэ въ гаваHнэ слhшаша вс‰, є3ли6ка сотвори2 гDь їеріхHну и3 гaю,	And the inhabitants of Gabaon heard of all that the Lord did to Jericho and Gai.

и3 сотвори1ша и3 сjи съ лукaвствомъ, и3 шeдше ўгот0ваша бр†шна и3 ўгот0вашасz: и3 взeмше врє1тища вє1тха на nслы2 сво‰, и3 мёхи вінA вє1тхи и3 разсёдшыzсz зав‰заны:	And they also wrought craftily, and they went and made provision and prepared themselves; and having taken old sacks on their shoulders, and old and rent and patched bottles of wine,

и3 сапоги2 вє1тхи и3 заплaчєны на ногY и4хъ, и3 ри6зы њбвєтшaны на ни1хъ, и3 хлёбы брaшна и4хъ бёша прес0хли и3 сплёснэли и3 сдр0блени.	and the upper part of their shoes and their sandals old and clouted on their feet, and their garments old upon them—and the bread of their provision was dry and mouldy and corrupt.

И# пріид0ша ко їисyсу въ п0лкъ ї}левъ въ галгaлы, и3 рек0ша ко їисyсу и3 всемY ї}лю: t земли2 дaльніz пріид0хомъ, и3 нн7э завэщaйте нaмъ завётъ.	And they came to Joshua into the camp of Israel to Galgala, and said to Joshua and Israel, We are come from a far land: now then make a covenant with us.

И# рек0ша сhнове ї}лєвы къ хоррeю: ви1ждь, не посредё ли нaсъ живeши, и3 кaкw тебЁ завэщaю завётъ;	And the children of Israel said to the Chorrhæan, Peradventure thou dwellest amongst us; and how should I make a covenant with thee?

И# рек0ша ко їисyсу: раби2 є3смы2 твои2. И# речE къ ни6мъ їисyсъ: tкyду є3стE; и3 tкyду пріид0сте;	And they said to Joshua, We are thy servants: and Joshua said to them, Whence are ye, and whence have ye come?

И# рек0ша къ немY: t дaльніz земли2 ѕэлw2 пріид0хомъ раби2 твои2 во и4мz гDа бGа твоегw2: слhшахомъ бо и4мz є3гw2 и3 вс‰, є3ли6ка сотвори2 во є3гЂптэ,	And they said, Thy servants are come from a very far country in the name of the Lord thy God: for we have heard his name, and all that he did in Egypt,

и3 вс‰, є3ли6ка сотвори2 двои1мъ царє1мъ ґморрє1йскимъ, и5же бhша њб8 nнY странY їoрдaна, сиHну царю2 є3севHнску и3 w4гу царю2 васaнску, и4же живsше во ґстарHfэ и3 во є3драjнэ.	and all that he did to the kings of the Amorites, who were beyond Jordan, to Seon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Basan, who dwelt in Astaroth and in Edrain.

И# слhшавше рек0ша къ нaмъ стaрцы нaши и3 вси2 живyщіи на земли2 нaшей, глаг0люще: возми1те себЁ брaшно на пyть и3 и3ди1те проти1ву и5мъ, и3 рцhте къ ни6мъ: раби2 є3смы2 вaши, и3 нн7э завэщaйте нaмъ завётъ:	And our elders and all that inhabit our land when they heard spoke to us, saying, Take to yourselves provision for the way, and go to meet them; and ye shall say to them, We are thy servants, and now make a covenant with us.

сjи хлёбы нaши, тє1плыz на пyть взsхомъ и5хъ t домHвъ нaшихъ, въ џньже дeнь и3зыд0хомъ пріити2 къ вaмъ: нн7э же пресх0ша и3 бhша содр0блени:	These are the loaves—we took them hot for our journey on the day on which we came out to come to you; and now they are dried and become mouldy.

и3 сjи мёси вінA, и5хже наліsхомъ нHвы, и3 сjи разсэд0шасz: и3 ри6зы нaшz сі‰ и3 њб{вища н†ша њбетшaша t д0лгагw пути2 ѕэлw2.	And these are the skins of wine which we filled when new, and they are rent; and our garments and our shoes are worn out because of the very long journey.

И# взsша кн‰зи брaшно и4хъ, ґ гDа не вопроси1ша.	And the chiefs took of their provision, and asked not counsel of the Lord.
15	15
И# сотвори2 їисyсъ съ ни1ми ми1ръ, и3 ўстaви къ ни6мъ завётъ, є4же снабдёти и5хъ: и3 клsшасz и5мъ кн‰зи с0нма.	And Joshua made peace with them, and they made a covenant with them to preserve them; and the princes of the congregation sware to them.
16	16
И# бhсть по тріeхъ днeхъ по завэщaніи къ ни6мъ завёта, ўслhшаша, ћкw бли1з8 и4хъ сyть и3 ћкw посредЁ и4хъ живyтъ.	And it came to pass three days after they had made a covenant with them, they heard that they were near neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.
17	17
И# востaша сhнове ї}лєвы и3 внид0ша во грaды и4хъ въ трeтій дeнь: грaди же и4хъ (бsху) гаваHнъ и3 кефірA, и3 вирHтъ и3 грaдъ їарjмъ.	And the children of Israel departed and came to their cities; and their cities were Gabaon, and Kephira, and Berot, and the cities of Jarin.
18	18
И# не сотвори1ша съ ни1ми рaти (їисyсъ и3) сhнове ї}лєвы, ћкw клsшасz и5мъ вси2 кн‰зи с0нма гDемъ бGомъ ї}левымъ. И# роптaша вeсь с0нмъ ї}левъ на кнzзeй.	And the children of Israel fought not with them, because all the princes sware to them by the Lord God of Israel; and all the congregation murmured at the princes.
19	19
И# рек0ша вси2 кн‰зи всемY с0нму: мы2 клsхомсz и5мъ гDемъ бGомъ ї}левымъ, и3 нн7э не возм0жемъ коснyтисz и4хъ:	And the princes said to all the congregation: We have sworn to them by the Lord God of Israel, and now we shall not be able to touch them.
20	20
сіE сотвори1мъ и5мъ, є4же живи1ти и5хъ, и3 снабди1мъ и5хъ, и3 не бyдетъ на нaсъ гнёва клsтвы рaди, є4юже клsхомсz и5мъ.	This we will do; take them alive, and we will preserve them: so there shall not be wrath against us by reason of the oath which we swore to them.

И# рек0ша и5мъ кн‰зи: да живyтъ сjи, и3 бyдутъ древосёчцы и3 водон0сцы всемY с0нму. И# сотвори2 вeсь с0нмъ, ћкоже рек0ша и5мъ кн‰зи.	They shall live, and shall be hewers of wood and drawers of water to all the congregation, as the princes said to them.
22	22
И# созвA и5хъ їисyсъ и3 речE и5мъ, глаг0лz: почто2 прельсти1сте мS, глаг0люще: далeче є3смы2 t тебє2 ѕэлw2; вh же насeлницы є3стE t живyщихъ въ нaсъ:	And Joshua called them together and said to them, Why have ye deceived me, saying, We live very far from you; whereas ye are fellow-countrymen of those who dwell among us?

и3 нн7э пр0клzти є3стE: и3 не њскудёетъ t вaсъ рaбъ, нижE древосёчецъ, нижE водон0сецъ мнЁ и3 бGу моемY.	And now ye are cursed: there shall not fail of you a slave, or a hewer of wood, or a drawer of water to me and my God.

И# tвэщaша їисyсу, глаг0люще: понeже возвэсти1сz нaмъ (рабHмъ твои6мъ), є3ли6ка заповёда гDь бGъ тв0й мwmсeю рабY своемY, дaти вaмъ зeмлю сію2 и3 потреби1ти нaсъ и3 вс‰ живyщыz на нeй t лицA вaшегw, сегw2 рaди ўбоsхомсz ѕэлw2 њ душaхъ нaшихъ t лицA вaшегw, и3 сотвори1хомъ дёло сіE:	And they answered Joshua, saying, It was reported to us what the Lord thy God charged his servant Moses, to give you this land, and to destroy us and all that dwelt on it from before you; and we feared very much for our lives because of you, and therefore we did this thing.

и3 нн7э, сE, мы2 подрyчни вaмъ, ћкоже ўг0дно є4сть вaмъ, и3 ћкоже вaмъ мни1тсz, твори1те нaмъ.	And now, behold, we are in your power; do to us as it is pleasing to you, and as it seems good to you.

И# сотвори1ша и5мъ си1це: и3 и3збaви \| їисyсъ въ т0й дeнь t рукY сынHвъ ї}левыхъ, и3 не ўби1ша и5хъ.	And they did so to them; and Joshua rescued them in that day out of the hands of the children of Israel, and they did not slay them.

И# постaви \| їисyсъ въ т0й дeнь древосёчцы и3 водон0сцы всемY с0нму и3 nлтарю2 б9ію. Сегw2 рaди бhша живyщіи въ гаваHнэ древосёчцы и3 водон0сцы nлтарю2 б9ію, дaже до днeшнzгw днE, и3 на мёстэ є4же ѓще и3зберeтъ гDь.	And Joshua made them in that day hewers of wood and drawers of water to the whole congregation, and for the altar of God: therefore the inhabitants of Gabaon became hewers of wood and drawers of water for the altar of God until this day, even for the place which the Lord should choose.
