| Е#гдa же ўслhша ґдwнівезeкъ цaрь їеrли1мскій, ћкw взS їисyсъ гaй и3 потреби2 є3го2, ћкоже сотвори2 їеріхHну и3 царю2 є3гw2, тaкw сотвори2 и3 гaю и3 царю2 є3гw2, и3 ћкw сaми вдaшасz живyщіи въ гаваHнэ ко їисyсу и3 ко ї}лю, и3 бhша въ ни1хъ, | And when Adoni-bezec king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had taken Gai, and had destroyed it, as he did to Jericho and its king, even so they did to Gai and its king, and that the inhabitants of Gabaon had gone over to Joshua and Israel; |

| и3 ўбоsшасz сaми въ себЁ ѕэлw2: вёдzху бо, ћкw грaдъ бsше вели1къ гаваHнъ, ћкw є3ди1нъ t вели1кихъ градHвъ, и3 вси2 мyжіе и5же въ нeмъ крёпцы. | then they were greatly terrified by them, for the king knew that Gabaon was a great city, as one of the chief cities, and all its men were mighty. |

| И# послA ґдwнівезeкъ цaрь їеrли1мскій къ є3лaму царю2 хеврHнску и3 фераaну царю2 їерімyfску, и3 ко ґфjю царю2 лахjсску, и3 къ давjру царю2 nдоллaмску, глаг0лz: | So Adoni-bezec king of Jerusalem sent to Elam king of Hebron, and to Phidon king of Jerimuth, and to Jephtha king of Lachis, and to Dabin king of Odollam, saying, |

| пріиди1те, взhдите ко мнЁ и3 помози1те ми2, да повою1емъ гаваHна: вдaшасz бо сaми ко їисyсу и3 къ сынHмъ ї}лєвымъ. | Come up hither to me, and help me, and let us take Gabaon; for the Gabaonites have gone over to Joshua and to the children of Israel. |

| И# собрaшасz и3 взыд0ша пsть царeй їевусeйскихъ: цaрь їеrли1мскій и3 цaрь хеврHнскій, и3 цaрь їерімyfскій и3 цaрь лахjсскій и3 цaрь nдоллaмскій, сaми и3 вси2 лю1діе и4хъ, и3 њбсэд0ша гаваHна и3 воевaша на него2. | And the five kings of the Jebusites went up, the king of Jerusalem, and the king of Chebron, and the king of Jerimuth, and the king of Lachis, and the king of Odollam, they and all their people; and encamped around Gabaon, and besieged it. |

| И# послaша живyщіи въ гаваHнэ ко їисyсу въ п0лкъ ї}левъ въ галгaлы, глаг0люще: не tрэшaй руки2 твоеS t р†бъ твои1хъ: взhди къ нaмъ ск0рw и3 помози2 нaмъ, и3 и3зми2 нaсъ: ћкw с0брани сyть на ны2 вси2 цaріе ґморрeйстіи, живyщіи въ г0рнэй. | And the inhabitants of Gabaon sent to Joshua into the camp to Galgala, saying, Slack not thy hands from thy servants: come up quickly to us, and help us, and rescue us; for all the kings of the Amorites who dwell in the hill country are gathered together against us. |

| И# взhде їисyсъ t галгaлъ, сaмъ и3 вси2 лю1діе вои1нстіи съ ни1мъ, всsкъ си1льный крёпостію. | And Joshua went up from Galgala, he and all the people of war with him, every one mighty in strength. |
|

|
| И# речE гDь ко їисyсу: не ўб0йсz и4хъ, ћкw въ рyцэ твои2 предaхъ |: не њстaнетъ t ни1хъ ни є3ди1нъ пред8 вaми. | And the Lord said to Joshua, Fear them not, for I have delivered them into thy hands; there shall not one of them be left before you. |

| И# пріи1де на ни1хъ їисyсъ внезaпу: всю1 бо н0щь и4де t галгaлъ. | And when Joshua came suddenly upon them, he had advanced all the night out of Galgala. |
|

| И# ўжаси2 | гDь t лицA сынHвъ ї}левыхъ: и3 сокруши2 | гDь сокрушeніемъ вели1кимъ въ гаваHнэ: и3 погнaша | путeмъ восх0да виfwрHнска, и3 сэчaху и5хъ дaже до ґзи1ка и3 до маки1да. | And the Lord struck them with terror before the children of Israel; and the Lord destroyed them with a great slaughter at Gabaon; and they pursued them by the way of the going up of Oronin, and they smote them to Azeca and to Makeda. |

| Внегдa же бэжaти и5мъ t лицA сынHвъ ї}левыхъ до восх0да виfwрHнска, и3 гDь вeрже на нS кaменіе вели1кое грaда съ небесE дaже до ґзи1ка, и3 бhсть мн0жае ўмeршихъ t грaда кaменна, нeже ўбіeнныхъ t сынHвъ ї}левыхъ мечeмъ на брaни. | And when they fled from the face of the children of Israel at the descent of Oronin, then the Lord cast upon them hailstones from heaven to Azeca; and they were more that died by the hailstones, than those whom the children of Israel slew with the sword in the battle. |

| ТогдA глаг0ла їисyсъ ко гDу, въ џньже дeнь предадE гDь бGъ ґморрeа под8 рyку ї}леву, є3гдA сокруши2 и5хъ въ гаваHнэ, и3 сокруши1шасz t лицA ї}лева: и3 речE їисyсъ: да стaнетъ с0лнце прsмw гаваHну, и3 лунA прsмw дeбри є3лHнъ. | Then Joshua spoke to the Lord, in the day in which the Lord delivered the Amorite into the power of Israel, when he destroyed them in Gabaon, and they were destroyed from before the children of Israel: and Joshua said, Let the sun stand over against Gabaon, and the moon over against the valley of Ælon. |

| И# стA с0лнце и3 лунA въ стоsніи, д0ндеже tмсти2 бGъ врагHмъ и4хъ. Не сіe ли є4сть пи1сано въ кни1гахъ првdнагw: и3 стA с0лнце посредЁ небесE и3 не и3дsше на зaпадъ въ совершeніе днE є3ди1нагw; | And the sun and the moon stood still, until God executed vengeance on their enemies; and the sun stood still in the midst of heaven; it did not proceed to set till the end of one day. |

| И# не бhсть дeнь таковhй нижE прeжде, нижE послэди2, є4же послyшати бGу тaкw глaса человёча, ћкw гDь споб0рствова ї}лю. | And there was not such a day either before or after, so that God should hearken to a man, because the Lord fought on the side of Israel. |

| И# возврати1сz їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ въ п0лкъ въ галгaлы. | |
|

|
| И# ўбэг0ша пsть цaріе сjи и3 скрhшасz въ пещeрэ ћже въ маки1дэ. | And these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave that is in Makeda. |
|

| И# повёдаша їисyсу, глаг0люще: њбрэт0шасz пsть цaріе скрhвшіисz въ пещeрэ ћже въ маки1дэ. | And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings have been found hid in the cave that is in Makeda. |
|

|
| И# речE їисyсъ: привали1те кaменіе вeліе ко ќстію пещeры и3 пристaвите над8 ни1ми мyжы стрещи2 и5хъ: | And Joshua said, Roll stones to the mouth of the cave, and set men to watch over them. |
|

| вh же не ст0йте здЁ, гонsще в8слёдъ врагHвъ вaшихъ, и3 пости1гните њстaнокъ и4хъ, и3 не дади1те вни1ти и5мъ во грaды и4хъ, предадe бо | гDь бGъ нaшъ въ рyцэ нaши. | But do not ye stand, but pursue after your enemies, and attack the rear of them, and do not suffer them to enter into their cities; for the Lord our God has delivered them into our hands. |

| И# бhсть є3гдA престA їисyсъ и3 вси2 сhнове ї}лєвы сэкyще и5хъ сэчeніемъ вели1кимъ ѕэлw2 дaже до концA, и3 ўцэлёвшіи t ни1хъ внид0ша во грaды твє1рды. | And it came to pass when Joshua and all Israel ceased destroying them utterly with a very great slaughter, that they that escaped took refuge in the strong cities. |

| И# возврати1шасz вси2 лю1діе въ п0лкъ ко їисyсу въ маки1ду здрaви, и3 не возскомлЁ никт0же t сынHвъ ї}левыхъ љзhкомъ свои1мъ. | And all the people returned safe to Joshua to Makeda; and no one of the children of Israel murmured with his tongue. |

| И# речE їисyсъ: tвeрзите ќстіе пещeры и3 и3зведи1те ко мнЁ пsть царeй си1хъ и3з8 пещeры. | And Joshua said, Open the cave, and bring out these five kings out of the cave. |

| И# сотвори1ша тaкw, и3 и3звед0ша къ немY пsть царeй и3з8 пещeры: царS їеrли1мска и3 царS хеврHнска, и3 царS їерімyfска и3 царS лахjсска и3 царS nдоллaмска. | And they brought out the five kings out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, and the king of Chebron, and the king of Jerimuth, and the king of Lachis, and the king of Odollam. |

| И# є3гдA и3звед0ша и5хъ ко їисyсу, и3 созвA їисyсъ всего2 ї}лz и3 начaлники вои6нскіz ходsщыz съ ни1мъ, глаг0лz къ ни6мъ: приступи1те и3 наступи1те ногaми вaшими на вы6и царeй си1хъ. И# приступи1вше наступи1ша ногaми свои1ми на вы6и и4хъ. | And when they brought them out to Joshua, then Joshua called together all Israel, and the chiefs of the army that went with him, saying to them, Come forward and set your feet on their necks; and they came and set their feet on their necks. |

| И# речE къ ни6мъ їисyсъ: не б0йтесz и4хъ, ни ўжасaйтесz: мужaйтесz и3 крэпи1тесz, ћкw си1це сотвори1тъ гDь всBмъ врагHмъ вaшымъ, и5хже вы2 повою1ете. | And Joshua said to them, Do not fear them, neither be cowardly; be courageous and strong, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies, against whom ye fight. |

| И# ўби2 | їисyсъ, и3 повёси | на пzти2 древесёхъ: и3 бhша ви1сzще на древaхъ дaже до вeчера. | And Joshua slew them, and hanged them on five trees; and they hung upon the trees until the evening. |
|

| И# бhсть при захождeніи с0лнца, повелЁ їисyсъ, и3 снsша | съ древeсъ, и3 вверг0ша | въ пещeру, въ ню1же вбэг0ша тaмw: и3 завали1ша кaменіемъ вели1кимъ пещeру до днeшнzгw днE. | And it came to pass toward the setting of the sun, Joshua commanded, and they took them down from the trees, and cast them into the cave into which they had fled for refuge, and rolled stones to the cave, which remain till this day. |

| Взsша же и3 маки1ду въ т0й дeнь, и3 и3зби1ша ю5 џстріемъ мечA и3 царS є3S, и3 потреби1ша и5хъ и3 всE дhшущее є4же бsше въ нeй: и3 не њстaсz никт0же въ нeй цёлъ и3 и3збёгшій. И# сотвори1ша царю2 маки1дску, ћкоже сотвори1ша царю2 їеріхHнску. | And they took Makeda on that day, and slew the inhabitants with the edge of the sword, and they utterly destroyed every living thing that was in it; and there was none left in it that was preserved and had escaped; and they did to the king of Makeda, as they did to the king of Jericho. |

| И# tи1де їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ t маки1ды въ лeвну, и3 њблежE лeвну. | And Joshua and all Israel with him departed out of Makeda to Lebna, and besieged Lebna. |
|

| И# предадE ю5 гDь въ рyцэ ї}лю: и3 взsша ю5 и3 царS є3S, и3 и3зби1ша ю5 џстріемъ мечA, и3 всE дhшущее въ нeй: и3 не њстaсz въ нeй ни є3ди1нъ цёлъ и3 и3збёгшій. И# сотвори1ша царю2 є3S, ћкоже сотвори1ша царю2 їеріхHнску. | And the Lord delivered it into the hands of Israel: and they took it, and its king, and slew the inhabitants with the edge of the sword, and every thing breathing in it; and there was not left in it any that survived and escaped; and they did to its king, as they did to the king of Jericho. |

| И# tи1де їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ t лeвны въ лахjсъ, и3 њблежE є3го2, и3 воевaше нaнь. | And Joshua and all Israel with him departed from Lebna to Lachis, and he encamped about it, and besieged it. |

| И# предадE гDь лахjсъ въ рyцэ ї}лєвы: и3 взS є3го2 въ дeнь вторhй, и3 и3зби1ша є3го2 џстріемъ мечA (и3 всE дhшущее въ нeмъ), и3 потреби1ша є3го2, ћкоже сотвори1ша лeвнэ. | And the Lord delivered Lachis into the hands of Israel; and they took it on the second day, and they put the inhabitants to death with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed it, as they had done to Lebna. |

| ТогдA взhде њрaмъ цaрь газeрскъ, помогazй лахjсу: и3 порази2 є3го2 їисyсъ џстріемъ мечA, и3 лю1ди є3гw2, д0ндеже не њстaсz t ни1хъ ни є3ди1нъ цёлъ и3 и3збёгшій. | Then Elam the king of Gazer went up to help Lachis; and Joshua smote him and his people with the edge of the sword, until there was not left to him one that was preserved and escaped. |

| И# tи1де їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ t лахjса во ґглHнъ, и3 њблежE и5, и3 воевA на него2. | And Joshua and all Israel with him departed from Lachis to Odollam, and he besieged it and took it. |
|

| И# предадE и5 гDь въ рyцэ ї}лю: и3 взS и5 въ т0й дeнь, и3 и3зби2 и5 џстріемъ мечA, и3 всE дhшущее въ нeмъ ўби2, и3 сотвори2 є3мY ћкоже и3 лахjсу. | And the Lord delivered it into the hand of Israel; and he took it on that day, and slew the inhabitants with the edge of the sword, and slew every thing breathing in it, as they did to Lachis. |

| И# tи1де їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ въ хеврHнъ, и3 њбсsде и5: | And Joshua and all Israel with him departed to Chebron, and encamped about it. |
|

| и3 взS є3го2, и3 порази2 є3го2 џстріемъ мечA, и3 царS є3гw2, и3 вс‰ вє1си є3гw2, и3 вс‰ ды6шущаz є3ли6ка бsху въ нeмъ: не бЁ ўцэлёвый: ћкоже сотвори1ша ґглHну, потреби1ша и5 и3 всE дhшущее, є3ли6ка въ нeмъ бsху. | And he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the living creatures that were in it; there was no one preserved: they destroyed it and all things in it, as they did to Odollam. |

| И# њбрати1сz їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ въ давjръ: и3 њбсёдше и5, | And Joshua and all Israel returned to Dabir; and they encamped about it; |

| взsша є3го2 и3 царS є3гw2 и3 вс‰ вє1си є3гw2, и3 порази1ша и5 мечeмъ, и3 потреби1ша и5 и3 всE дhшущее въ нeмъ, и3 не њстaвиша въ нeмъ ни є3ди1нагw ўцэлёвша: ћкоже сотвори1ша хеврHну и3 царю2 є3гw2, тaкw сотвори1ша давjру и3 царю2 є3гw2, и3 ћкоже сотвори1ша лeвнэ и3 царю2 є3S. | and they took it, and its king, and its villages: and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and they destroyed it, and every thing breathing in it; and they did not leave in it any one that was preserved: as they did to Chebron and her king, so they did to Dabir and her king. |

| И# порази2 їисyсъ всю2 зeмлю г0рную и3 нагeвъ, и3 рaвную и3 ґсидHfъ, и3 вс‰ цари6 є3гw2: не њстaвиша въ нeмъ ни є3ди1нагw ўцэлёвша: и3 всE дhшущее потреби1ша, ћкоже заповёда гDь бGъ ї}лю. | And Joshua smote all the land of the hill country, and Nageb and the plain country, and Asedoth, and her kings, they did not leave of them one that was saved: and they utterly destroyed every thing that had the breath of life, as the Lord God of Israel commanded, |

| И# и3зби2 и5хъ їисyсъ t кaдисъ-варни2 дaже до гaзы, и3 всю2 зeмлю гос0мъ дaже до гаваHна: | from Cades Barne to Gaza, all Gosom, as far as Gabaon. |

| и3 вс‰ цари6 сі‰ и3 зeмлю и4хъ взS їисyсъ є3ди1ною: ћкw гDь бGъ ї}левъ помогaше ї}лю. | And Joshua smote, once for all, all their kings, and their land, because the Lord God of Israel fought on the side of Israel. |

| И# возврати1сz їисyсъ и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ въ п0лкъ въ галгaлы. |
