6
And there came out women in dances to meet David out of all the cities of Israel, with timbrels, and with rejoicing, and with cymbals. И# бhсть, внегдA входи1ти и5мъ, є3гдA возврати1сz давjдъ t побёды над8 и3ноплемeнникомъ: и3 и3зыд0ша (дBвы) ликовствyющыz во срётеніе саyла царS t всёхъ градHвъ ї}левыхъ пою1щz и3 скaчущz въ тmмпaнэхъ съ рaдостію и3 съ гyсльми.
7
7
And the women began the strain, and said, Saul has smitten his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
8
8
And it seemed evil in the eyes of Saul concerning this matter, and he said, To David they have given ten thousands, and to me they have given thousands. И# разгнёвасz саyлъ ѕэлw2, и3 лук†вы kви1шасz глаг0лы пред8 nчи1ма саyловыма њ словеси2 сeмъ. И# речE саyлъ: давjду дaша тмы6, мнё же дaша тhсzщы: и3 чегw2 є3мY (нёсть), т0чію цaрства;
12
12
And Saul was alarmed on account of David.
13
13
And he removed him from him, and made him a captain of a thousand for himself; and he went out and came in before the people. и3 tстaви є3го2 саyлъ t себє2, и3 постaви є3го2 себЁ тысzщеначaлника: и3 и3схождaше и3 вхождaше пред8 людьми2.
14
14
And David was prudent in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.
15
15
And Saul saw that he was very wise, and he was afraid of him.
16
16
And all Israel and Juda loved David, because he came in and went out before the people. Вeсь же ї}ль и3 їyда люблsху давjда, ћкw т0й вхождaше и3 и3схождaше пред8 лицeмъ людjй.
20
20
And Melchol the daughter of Saul loved David; and it was told Saul, and the thing was pleasing in his eyes.
21
21
And Saul said, I will give her to him, and she shall be a stumbling-block to him. Now the hand of the Philistines was against Saul. И# речE саyлъ: дaмъ є3мY ю5, и3 бyдетъ є3мY въ соблaзнъ.
22
22
And Saul charged his servants, saying, Speak ye privately to David, saying, Behold, the king delights in thee, and all his servants love thee, and do thou become the king's son-in-law.
23
23
And the servants of Saul spoke these words in the ears of David; and David said, Is it a light thing in your eyes to become son-in-law to the king? whereas I am an humble man, and not honourable? И# речE давjдъ: є3дA легко2 пред8 nчи1ма вaшима, є4же бhти (ми2) зsтемъ царю2; ѓзъ бо є4смь мyжъ смирeнъ и3 не слaвенъ.
24
24
And the servants of Saul reported to him according to these words, which David spoke.
25
25
And Saul said, Thus shall ye speak to David, The king wants no gift but a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to avenge himself on the king's enemies. Now Saul thought to cast him into the hands of the Philistines. И# речE саyлъ: тaкw рцhте давjду: не х0щетъ цaрь съ богaтствомъ (зsтz), но т0кмw во стЁ краенеwбрёзаній и3ноплемeнническихъ tмсти1ти врагHмъ царє1вымъ.
26
26
And the servants of Saul report these words to David, and David was well pleased to become the son-in-law to the king.
27
27
And David arose, and went, he and his men, and smote among the Philistines a hundred men: and he brought their foreskins, and he becomes the king's son-in-law, and Saul gives him Melchol his daughter to wife. И# не по мн0зэхъ днeхъ, востA давjдъ и3 и4де сaмъ и3 мyжіе є3гw2 съ ни1мъ, и3 ўби2 t и3ноплемє1нникъ двёсти мужeй: и3 принесE краенеwбрBзаніz и4хъ царю2 и3 вдадE | є3мY, и3 бhсть зsть царю2, и3 вдадE є3мY цaрь мелх0лу дщeрь свою2 въ женY.
28
28
And Saul saw that the Lord was with David, and that all Israel loved him.
29
29
And he was yet more afraid of David.
