And there came out women in dances to meet David out of all the cities of Israel, with timbrels, and with rejoicing, and with cymbals.
|
И# бhсть є3гдA престA глаг0лати къ саyлу, и3 душA їwнаfaна съ душeю давjдовою спрzжeсz, и3 возлюби2 є3го2 їwнаfaнъ t души2 своеS.

And the women began the strain, and said, Saul has smitten his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
|
И# поsтъ є3го2 саyлъ во дни6 w4ны и3 не дадE є3мY возврати1тисz въ д0мъ nтцA є3гw2.
|

|
And it seemed evil in the eyes of Saul concerning this matter, and he said, To David they have given ten thousands, and to me they have given thousands.
|
И# завэщA їwнаfaнъ и3 давjдъ завётъ, понeже возлюби2 є3го2 t души2 своеS:

|
And Saul was alarmed on account of David.
|
и3 совлечE їwнаfaнъ ри1зу свою2 вeрхнюю и3 дадE ю5 давjду, и3 и4ны nдє1жды сво‰ дaже до мечA своегw2 и3 до лyка своегw2 и3 до п0zса своегw2.

And he removed him from him, and made him a captain of a thousand for himself; and he went out and came in before the people.
|
И# хождaше давjдъ разyмнw во всёхъ, ѓможе ѓще посылaше є3го2 саyлъ: постaви же є3го2 саyлъ над8 м{жи в0инскими, и3 ўг0денъ бЁ пред8 nчи1ма всёхъ людjй и3 пред8 слугaми саyловыми.

And David was prudent in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.
|
И# бhсть, внегдA входи1ти и5мъ, є3гдA возврати1сz давjдъ t побёды над8 и3ноплемeнникомъ: и3 и3зыд0ша (дBвы) ликовствyющыz во срётеніе саyла царS t всёхъ градHвъ ї}левыхъ пою1щz и3 скaчущz въ тmмпaнэхъ съ рaдостію и3 съ гyсльми.

And Saul saw that he was very wise, and he was afraid of him.
|
И# и3схождaху жєны2 ликyющz и3 глаг0лющz: побэди2 саyлъ съ тhсzщами свои1ми, ґ давjдъ со тмaми свои1ми.

|
And all Israel and Juda loved David, because he came in and went out before the people.
|
И# разгнёвасz саyлъ ѕэлw2, и3 лук†вы kви1шасz глаг0лы пред8 nчи1ма саyловыма њ словеси2 сeмъ. И# речE саyлъ: давjду дaша тмы6, мнё же дaша тhсzщы: и3 чегw2 є3мY (нёсть), т0чію цaрства;

And Melchol the daughter of Saul loved David; and it was told Saul, and the thing was pleasing in his eyes.
|
И# бЁ саyлъ подзирaz давjда t днE џнагw и3 пот0мъ.
|

And Saul said, I will give her to him, and she shall be a stumbling-block to him. Now the hand of the Philistines was against Saul.
|
И# бhсть t ќтрешнzгw днE, и3 нападaше дyхъ лукaвый t бGа на саyла, и3 прорицaше посредЁ д0му своегw2: и3 давjдъ поsше рук0ю своeю (въ гyсли), ћкоже и3 по вс‰ дни6: копіe же въ руцЁ саyли:

And Saul charged his servants, saying, Speak ye privately to David, saying, Behold, the king delights in thee, and all his servants love thee, and do thou become the king's son-in-law.
|
и3 взS саyлъ копіE и3 речE: поражY давjда къ стэнЁ. И# ўклони1сz давjдъ t лицA є3гw2 двaжды.

|
And the servants of Saul spoke these words in the ears of David; and David said, Is it a light thing in your eyes to become son-in-law to the king? whereas I am an humble man, and not honourable?
|
И# ўбоsсz саyлъ t лицA давjдова, ћкw гDь бЁ съ ни1мъ, ґ t саyла tступи2:

And the servants of Saul reported to him according to these words, which David spoke.
|
и3 tстaви є3го2 саyлъ t себє2, и3 постaви є3го2 себЁ тысzщеначaлника: и3 и3схождaше и3 вхождaше пред8 людьми2.

|
And Saul said, Thus shall ye speak to David, The king wants no gift but a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to avenge himself on the king's enemies. Now Saul thought to cast him into the hands of the Philistines.
|
И# бЁ давjдъ во всёхъ путeхъ свои1хъ смhслz, и3 гDь бЁ съ ни1мъ.

|
And the servants of Saul report these words to David, and David was well pleased to become the son-in-law to the king.
|
И# ви1дэ саyлъ, ћкw т0й смhслитъ ѕэлw2, и3 боsшесz t лицA є3гw2.
|

|
And David arose, and went, he and his men, and smote among the Philistines a hundred men: and he brought their foreskins, and he becomes the king's son-in-law, and Saul gives him Melchol his daughter to wife.
|
Вeсь же ї}ль и3 їyда люблsху давjда, ћкw т0й вхождaше и3 и3схождaше пред8 лицeмъ людjй.

And Saul saw that the Lord was with David, and that all Israel loved him.
|
И# речE саyлъ къ давjду: сE, дщи2 моS б0лшаz мерHвъ, сію2 тебЁ дaмъ въ женY, т0кмw бyди ми2 въ сhна си1лы и3 поборaй бр†ни гDни. И# саyлъ речE: да не бyдетъ рукA моS на нeмъ, но да бyдетъ рукA и3ноплемeннича.

And he was yet more afraid of David.
|
И# речE давjдъ къ саyлу: кто2 ѓзъ є4смь; и3 к0е житіE ср0дства nтцA моегw2 во ї}ли, ћкw да бyду зsть цaрскій;
