| And Roboam came to Jerusalem; and he assembled Juda and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand young men fit for war, and he waged war with Israel to recover the kingdom to Roboam. | Пріи1де же ровоaмъ во їеrли1мъ, и3 созвA (вeсь) д0мъ їyдинъ и3 веніамjнь, сто2 џсмьдесzтъ тhсzщъ и3збрaнныхъ ю4ношей творsщихъ брaнь, и3 воевaше проти1ву ї}лz и3 їеровоaма, да њбрати1тъ къ себЁ цaрство. |

| And the word of the Lord came to Samaias the man of God, saying, | И# бhсть сл0во гDне къ самeю человёку б9ію, гlz: |

| Speak to Roboam the son of Solomon, and to all Juda and Benjamin, saying, | глаг0ли къ ровоaму сhну соломHню, царю2 їyдину, и3 ко всемY ї}лю, и4же є4сть во їyдэ и3 веніамjнэ: |

| Thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not go up, and ye shall not war against your brethren: return every one to his home; for this thing is of me. And they hearkened to the word of the Lord, and returned from going against Jeroboam. | сі‰ речE гDь: не восходи1те, нижE њполчaйтесz проти1ву брaтіи вaшеz: возврати1тесz кjйждо въ д0мъ св0й, занE t менє2 бhсть гlг0лъ сeй. И# послyшаша сл0ва гDнz, и3 возврати1шасz, и3 не поид0ша проти1ву їеровоaма. |

| And Roboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and he built walled cities in Judæa. | Њбитa же ровоaмъ во їеrли1мэ и3 создA грaды стэн†ты во їудeи: |

| And he built Bethleem, and Ætan and Thecoe, | состр0и же виfлеeмъ и3 є3тaмъ, и3 fекуE |

| and Bæthsura, and Sochoth, and Odollam, | и3 веfсyръ, и3 сокхHfъ и3 nдоллaмъ, |

| and Geth, and Marisa, and Ziph, | и3 гefъ и3 марісaнъ, и3 зjфъ |

| and Adorai, and Lachis, and Azeca, | и3 ґдурeмъ, и3 лахjсъ и3 ґзи1ку, |

| and Saraa, and Ælom, and Chebron, which belongs to Juda and Benjamin, walled cities. | и3 салaю и3 є3лHнъ и3 хеврHнъ, и4же є4сть їyдинъ и3 веніамjнь, грaды крBпкіz: |

| And he fortified them with walls, and placed in them captains, and stores of provisions, oil and wine, | и3 ўкрэпи2 и5хъ стэнaми, и3 постaви въ ни1хъ начaлники, житохрани6лища, и3 є3лeй и3 віно2, |

| shields and spears in every several city, and he fortified them very strongly, and he had on his side Juda and Benjamin. | во всsцэмъ грaдэ щиты2 и3 к0піz, и3 ўкрэпи2 и5хъ во мн0жествэ ѕэлw2, и3 бhста под8 ни1мъ їyда и3 веніамjнъ. |

| And the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel were gathered to him out of all the coasts. | Свzщeнницы же и3 леvjты, и5же бsху во всeмъ ї}ли, собрaшасz къ немY t всёхъ предBлъ: |

| For the Levites left the tents of their possession, and went to Juda to Jerusalem, because Jeroboam and his sons had ejected them so that they should not minister to the Lord. | ћкw њстaвиша леvjти селє1ніz њдержaніz своегw2 и3 поид0ша ко їyдэ во їеrли1мъ, понeже и3згнA и5хъ їеровоaмъ и3 сhнове є3гw2, є4же не служи1ти гDеви: |

| And he made for himself priests of the high places, and for the idols, and for the vanities, and for the calves which Jeroboam made. | и3 постaви себЁ жерцы2 на выс0кихъ, и3 јдwлwмъ, и3 сyєтнымъ, и3 телцє1мъ, и5хже сотвори2 їеровоaмъ. |

| And he cast out from the tribes of Israel those who set their heart to seek the Lord God of Israel: and they came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to the Lord God of their fathers. | И# и3згнA и5хъ t всёхъ колёнъ ї}левыхъ, и5же вдaша сeрдце своE, да взhщутъ гDа бGа ї}лева: и3 пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ пожрeти гDу бGу nтє1цъ свои1хъ: |

| And they strengthened the kingdom of Juda; and Juda strengthened Roboam the son of Solomon for three years, for he walked three years in the ways of David and Solomon. | и3 ўкрэпи1ша цaрство їyдино. И# ўкрэпи1сz ровоaмъ сhнъ соломHнь въ три2 лBта, хождaше бо по путє1мъ давjда и3 соломHна nтцA своегw2 лBта три2. |

| And Roboam took to himself for a wife Moolath daughter of Jerimuth the son of David, and Abigaia daughter of Heliab the son of Jessæ. | И# взS себЁ ровоaмъ женY моолafу, дщeрь їерімHfа сhна давjдова, и3 ґвігeю дщeрь є3ліaва сhна їессeова. |

| And she bore him sons; Jeus, and Samoria, and Zaam. | И# роди2 є3мY сhны: їеyса и3 саморjа и3 заaма. |

| And afterwards he took to himself Maacha the daughter of Abessalom; and she bore him Abia, and Jetthi, and Zeza, and Salemoth. | По си1хъ же поS себЁ маaху дщeрь ґвессалHмлю, и3 роди2 є3мY ґвjю и3 їеffjа, и3 зjзу и3 салимHfа. |

| And Roboam loved Maacha the daughter of Abessalom more than all his wives and all his concubines: for he had eighteen wives and sixty concubines; and he begot twenty-eight sons, and sixty daughters. | И# возлюби2 ровоaмъ маaху дщeрь ґвессалHмлю пaче всёхъ жeнъ свои1хъ и3 подл0жницъ свои1хъ, ћкw жeнъ nсмьнaдесzть и3мЁ и3 подл0жницъ шестьдесsтъ: и3 роди2 двaдесzть џсмь сынHвъ и3 шестьдесsтъ дщeрей. |

| And he made Abia the son of Maacha chief, even a leader among his brethren, for he intended to make him king. | И# постaви въ начaлника ровоaмъ ґвjю сhна маaхина и3 кнsземъ над8 всeю брaтіею є3гw2, того2 бо и3 царeмъ сотвори1ти помышлsше. |

| And he was exalted beyond all his other sons in all the coasts of Juda and Benjamin, and in the strong cities; and he gave them provisions in great abundance: and he desired many wives. | И# возрастE пaче всёхъ брaтій свои1хъ во всёхъ предёлэхъ їyдиныхъ и3 веніамjнихъ и3 во градёхъ крёпкихъ, и3 дадE и5мъ пи1щи мн0жество мн0го, и3 мн0гихъ взыскA жeнъ. |
