And in the eighth year Jodae strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azarias the son of Joram, and Ismael the son of Joanan, and Azarias the son of Obed, and Maasæas the son of Adia, and Elisaphan the son of Zacharias, with him into the house of the Lord.	Въ лёто же седм0е ўкрэпи1сz їwдaй, и3 взS с0тники, ґзaрію сhна їwрaмлz и3 їсмaила сhна їwанaнz, и3 ґзaрію сhна њви1дова и3 ґмасjю сhна ґдjева и3 є3лісафaна сhна захaріина съ соб0ю въ д0мъ гDень.

And they went round about Juda, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Juda, and heads of the families of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.	И# њбыд0ша їудeю, и3 собрaша леvjты t всёхъ градHвъ їyдиныхъ и3 начaлники nтeчествъ ї}левыхъ, и3 пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ.

And all the congregation of Juda made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he shewed them the king's son, and said to them, Lo, let the king's son reign, as the Lord said concerning the house of David.	И# завэщA всE собрaніе їyдино завётъ въ домY б9іи со царeмъ: и3 показA и5мъ сhна царeва и3 речE и5мъ (їwдaй): сE, сhнъ царeвъ да воцари1тсz, ћкоже гlа гDь њ д0мэ давjдовэ:

Now this is the thing which ye shall do. Let a third part of you, even of the priests and of the Levites, enter in on the sabbath, even into the gates of the entrances;	и3 нн7э сл0во сіE, є4же сотворитE: трeтіz чaсть t вaсъ да и3зhдетъ въ суббHту, свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ, и3 во вратA вх0дwвъ,

and let a third part be in the house of the king; and another third at the middle gate: and all the people in the courts of the Lord's house.	и3 трeтіz чaсть въ домY царeвэ, и3 трeтіz чaсть во вратёхъ срeднихъ, и3 вси2 лю1діе (да бyдутъ) во дв0рэхъ д0му гDнz:

And let not any one enter into the house of the Lord, except the priests and the Levites, and the servants of the Levites; they shall enter in, because they are holy: and let all the people keep the watch of the Lord.	и3 никт0же да вни1детъ въ д0мъ гDень, т0кмw свzщeнницы и3 леvjти и3 и5же слyжатъ t леv‡тъ: тjи вни1дутъ, ћкw њсвzщeни сyть, вси1 же лю1діе да держaтъ стрaжу гDню:

And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man's weapon in his hand; and whoever else goes into the house shall die: but they shall be with the king when he goes out, and when he comes in.	леvjти же да х0дzтъ w4крестъ царS, кjйждо и3мёz nрyжіе своE въ рукY своє1ю, и3 входsй въ цeрковъ да ўбіeтсz, и3 да бyдутъ со царeмъ, входsщу є3мY и3 и3сходsщу.

And the Levites and all Juda did according to all that the priest Jodae commanded them, and they took each his men from the beginning of the sabbath to the end of the sabbath, for Jodae the priest did not dismiss the courses.	И# сотвори1ша леvjти и3 вeсь їyда по всемY, є3ли6ка повелЁ и5мъ їwдaй жрeцъ: и3 взsша кjйждо мyжы сво‰ t начaла суббHты дaже до и3сх0да суббHты: занeже не њстaви їwдaй жрeцъ сл{жбы днєвнhz.

And Jodae gave to the men the swords, and the shields, and the arms, which had belonged to king David, in the house of God.	И# дадE їwдaй свzщeнникъ с0тникwмъ по чи1ну постaвлєннымъ мечы2 и3 щиты2 и3 брон‰, ±же бsху царS давjда въ домY б9іи,

And he set the whole people, every man with his arms, from the right side of the house to the left side of the altar and the house, over against the king round about.	и3 постaви вс‰ лю1ди, коег0ждо во nрyжіи є3гw2, t деснhz страны2 цeркве дaже до лёвыz страны2 nлтарS и3 цeркве, над8 царeмъ w4крестъ:

And he brought out the king's son, and put on him the crown and the testimony, and Jodae the priest and his sons proclaimed him king, and anointed him, and said, Long live the king!	и3 и3зведE сhна царeва, и3 возложи1ша на него2 діади1му и3 свидBніz, и3 постaвиша є3го2 царeмъ, и3 помaза є3го2 їwдaй жрeцъ и3 сhнове є3гw2 и3 рек0ша да живeтъ цaрь.

And Gotholia heard the sound of the people running, and acknowledging and praising the king: and she went in to the king into the house of the Lord.	И# ўслhша гоfолjа глaсъ людjй текyщихъ и3 и3сповёдающихъ и3 хвaлzщихъ царS, и3 вни1де ко царю2 въ цeрковь гDню,

And she looked, and, behold, the king stood in his place, and the princes and trumpets were at the entrance, and the princes were round the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded the trumpets, and there were the singers singing with instruments, and singing hymns of praise. And Gotholia rent her robe, and cried, Ye surely are plotting against me.	и3 ви1дэ, и3 сE, цaрь стоsше на степeни своeмъ, на вх0дэ же кн‰зи и3 трубы6, и3 нач†лницы w4крестъ царS: и3 вси2 лю1діе земли2 возрaдовашасz и3 воструби1ша трубaми, и3 пою1ще во nргaны пэвцы2, и3 хвaлzще хвал0ю. И# растерзA гоfолjа ри6зы сво‰, и3 возопи2 и3 речE: напaдающе напaдаете.

And Jodae the priest went forth, and Jodae the priest charged the captains of hundreds, even the captains of the host, and said to them, Thrust her forth outside the house, and follow her, and let her be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Let her not be slain in the house of the Lord.	И#зhде же їwдaй ґрхіерeй, и3 повелЁ с0тникwмъ и3 начaлникwмъ си1лы и3 речE и5мъ: и3зри1ните ю5 в0нъ и3з8 цeркве, и3 и3зыди1те в8слёдъ є3S, и3 да ўбіeтсz мечeмъ. Речe бо свzщeнникъ да не ќмретъ въ домY гDни.

So they let her go out; and she went through the horsemen's gate of the house of the king, and they slew her there.	И# дaша є4й њслaбу на мaло, д0ндеже пр0йде вратA кHнникъ д0му царeва и3 ўби1ша ю5 тaмw.

And Jodae made a covenant between himself, and the people, and the king, that the people should be the Lord's.	И# завэщA їwдaй завётъ междY соб0ю и3 всёми людьми2 и3 царeмъ, да бhша бhли лю1діе гDни.

And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and tore down it and its altars, and they ground his images to powder, and they slew Matthan the priest of Baal before his altars.	И# внид0ша вси2 лю1діе земли2 въ д0мъ ваaловъ и3 разори1ша є3го2, и3 nлтари6 є3гw2 и3 јдwлы є3гw2 сокруши1ша, и3 матfaна жерцA ваaлова ўби1ша пред8 nлтарeмъ є3гw2.

And Jodae the priest committed the works of the house of the Lord into the hand of the priests and Levites, and he re-established the courses of the priests and Levites which David appointed over the house of the Lord, and he appointed them to offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord, as it is written in the law of Moses, with gladness, and with songs by the hand of David.	И# вручи2 їwдaй жрeцъ дэлA д0му гDнz въ рукY свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ, и3 возстaви днєвнhz чрєды2 жерцє1въ и3 леvjтwвъ, ±же раздэли2 давjдэ въ домY гDни, и3 вознесE всесожжє1ніz гDеви, ћкоже пи1сано є4сть въ зак0нэ мwmсeовэ, въ рaдости и3 пёніихъ по расположeнію давjдову:

And the porters stood at the gates of the house of the Lord, that no one unclean in any respect should enter in.	и3 постaви придвeрники во вратёхъ д0му гDнz, и3 да не вни1детъ нечи1стъ во всsцэй вeщи:

And he took the heads of families, and the mighty men, and the chiefs of the people, and all the people of the land, and they conducted the king into the house of the Lord; and he went through the inner gate into the king's house, and they seated the king on the throne of the kingdom.	и3 взS nтeчествъ начaлники, и3 си1льныz, и3 начaлники людjй, и3 вс‰ лю1ди земли2, и3 возвед0ша царS t д0му гDнz, и3 вни1де вратaми внyтренними въ д0мъ царeвъ, и3 посади1ша царS на прест0лэ цaрстэмъ.

And all the people of the land rejoiced; and the city was quiet: and they slew Gotholia.	И# возвесели1шасz вси2 лю1діе зeмстіи и3 грaдъ ўпок0исz, и3 гоfолjа ўбіeна є4сть мечeмъ.
