And Jebosthe the son of Saul heard that Abenner the son of Ner had died in Chebron; and his hands were paralysed, and all the men of Israel grew faint. И# слhша їевосfeй сhнъ саyль, ћкw ќмре ґвени1ръ сhнъ ни1ровъ въ хеврHнэ, и3 њслабёша рyцэ є3гw2, и3 вси2 мyжіе ї}лєвы и3знемог0ша.

And Jebosthe the son of Saul had two men that were captains of bands: the name of the one was Baana, and the name of the other Rechab, sons of Remmon the Berothite of the children of Benjamin; for Beroth was reckoned to the children of Benjamin. И# двA м{жа старBйшины полкHвъ їевосfeа сhна саyлz: и4мz є3ди1ному ваанA и3 и4мz друг0му рихaвъ, сhнове реммHна вирwfeйскагw t сынHвъ веніамjнихъ: ћкw вирHfъ вмэнsшесz въ сынёхъ веніамjнихъ.

And the Berothites ran away to Gethaim, and were sojourners there until this day. И# tбэг0ша вирwfeє въ геfeмъ, и3 бёша тaмw живyще до днeшнzгw днE.

And Jonathan Saul's son had a son lame of his feet, five years old, and he was in the way when the news of Saul and Jonathan his son came from Jezrael, and his nurse took him up, and fled; and it came to pass as he hasted and retreated, that he fell, and was lamed. And his name was Memphibosthe. И# їwнаfaну сhну саyлю сhнъ бЁ хр0мъ ногaма, сhнъ пzти2 лётъ: и3 т0й, є3гдA пріи1де возвэщeніе њ саyлэ и3 їwнаfaнэ сhнэ є3гw2 t їезраeлz, и3 взsтъ є3го2 пёстунница є3гw2, и3 бэжA: и3 бhсть тщaщейсz є4й на tшeствіе, и3 падE, и3 њхромЁ, и4мz же є3мY мемфівосfeй.

And Rechab and Baana the sons of Remmon the Berothite went, and they came in the heat of the day into the house of Jebosthe; and he was sleeping on a bed at noon. И# поид0ста сhнове реммHна вирwfeйскагw, рихaвъ и3 ваанA, и3 внид0ста во врeмz зн0z дневнaгw въ д0мъ їевосfeовъ, и3 т0й почивaше на nдрЁ въ полyдне:

And, behold, the porter of the house winnowed wheat, and he slumbered and slept: and the brothers Rechab and Baana went privily into the house: и3 сE, врaтникъ д0му њчищaше пшени1цу и3 воздремA и3 спaше, рихaвъ же и3 ваанA брaтіz ўтаи6вшасz внид0ста въ д0мъ:

and Jebosthe was sleeping on his bed in his chamber: and they smite him, and slay him, and take off his head: and they took his head, and went all the night by the western road. їевосfeй же почивaше на nдрЁ своeмъ въ л0жницэ своeй: и3 би1ста є3го2, и3 ўмертви1ста є3го2, и3 tsста главY є3гw2, и3 взsста главY є3гw2, и3 tид0ста путeмъ и4же на зaпадъ всю2 н0щь:

And they brought the head of Jebosthe to David to Chebron, and they said to the king, Behold the head of Jebosthe the son of Saul thy enemy, who sought thy life; and the Lord has executed for my lord the king vengeance on his enemies, as it is this day: even on Saul thy enemy, and on his seed. и3 принес0ста главY їевосfeову къ давjду въ хеврHнъ и3 рёста къ царю2: сE, главA їевосfeа сhна саyлова врагA твоегw2, и4же и3скaше души2 твоеS, и3 дадE гDь господи1ну нaшему царю2 tмщeніе врагHвъ є3гw2, ћкоже дeнь сeй, t саyла врагA твоегw2 и3 t сёмене є3гw2.

And David answered Rechab and Baana his brother, the sons of Remmon the Berothite, and said to them, As the Lord lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all affliction; И# tвэщA давjдъ рихaву и3 ваанЁ брaту є3гw2, сынHмъ реммHна вирwfeйскагw, и3 речE и4ма: жи1въ гDь, и4же и3збaви дyшу мою2 t всsкіz ск0рби:

he that reported to me that Saul was dead, even he was as one bringing glad tidings before me: but I seized him and slew him in Sekelac, to whom I ought, as he thought, to have given a reward for his tidings. и4бо возвэсти1вый мнЁ, ћкw ќмре саyлъ и3 їwнаfaнъ, и3 т0й бsше ѓки благовэствyzй предо мн0ю, и3 ћхъ є3го2 и3 ўби1хъ є3го2 въ секелaзэ, є3мyже д0лженъ бёхъ дaти дaръ:

And now evil men have slain a righteous man in his house on his bed: now then I will require his blood of your hand, and I will destroy you from off the earth. и3 нн7э мyжіе лукaвіи ўби1ша мyжа прaведна въ домY є3гw2 на nдрЁ є3гw2, и3 нн7э взыщY кр0ве є3гw2 t руки2 вaшеz и3 и3скореню2 вaсъ t земли2.

And David commanded his young men, and they slay them, and cut off their hands and their feet; and they hung them up at the fountain in Chebron: and they buried the head of Jebosthe in the tomb of Abenner the son of Ner. И# заповёда давjдъ nтрокHмъ свои6мъ, и3 ўби1ша и4хъ, и3 tсэк0ша рyцэ и4хъ и3 н0зэ и4хъ, и3 повёсиша и5хъ над8 и3ст0чникомъ въ хеврHнэ, и3 главY їевосfeову погреб0ша во гр0бэ ґвени1ра сhна ни1рова (въ хеврHнэ).
