1
Then Joshua called together the sons of Ruben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse, ТогдA созвA їисyсъ сhны руви6мли и3 сhны гaдwвы и3 полплeмене манассjина, и3 речE и5мъ:
2
2
and said to them, Ye have heard all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and ye have hearkened to my voice in all that he commanded you. вы2 слhшасте вс‰, є3ли6ка заповёда вaмъ мwmсeй рaбъ гDень, и3 послyшасте глaса моегw2, по всемY є3ли6ка заповёдахъ вaмъ:
3
3
Ye have not deserted your brethren these many days: until this day ye have kept the commandment of the Lord your God. не њстaвисте брaтіи вaшеz въ сі‰ дни6 и3 мн0жайшыz, дaже до днE сегw2: сохрани1сте зaповэдь гDа бGа вaшегw:
4
4
And now the Lord our God has given our brethren rest, as he told them: now then return and depart to your homes, and to the land of your possession, which Moses gave you on the other side Jordan. нн7э же ўпок0и гDь бGъ вaшъ брaтію вaшу, ћкоже речE и5мъ: нн7э u5бо возврати1вшесz tиди1те въ д0мы вaшz и3 въ зeмлю њбдержaніz вaшегw, ю4же дадE вaмъ мwmсeй рaбъ гDень њб8 nнY странY їoрдaна:
5
5
But take great heed to do the commands and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you to do; to love the Lord our God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commands, and to cleave to him, and serve him with all your mind, and with all your soul. но сохрани1те ѕэлw2 твори1ти зaпwвэди и3 зак0нъ, є3г0же заповёда вaмъ мwmсeй рaбъ гDень, люби1ти гDа бGа вaшего и3 ходи1ти во всёхъ путeхъ є3гw2, храни1ти зaпwвэди є3гw2 и3 прилэжaти є3мY и3 служи1ти є3мY t всегw2 сeрдца вaшегw и3 t всеS души2 вaшеz.
6
6
And Joshua blessed them, and dismissed them; and they went to their homes.
7
7
And to one half the tribe of Manasse Moses gave a portion in the land of Basan, and to the other half Joshua gave a portion with his brethren on the other side of Jordan westward: and when Joshua sent them away to their homes, then he blessed them. И# полY (плeмене) манассjину дадE мwmсeй (њбдержaніе) въ васaнэ, и3 полови1нэ дадE їисyсъ съ брaтіею и4хъ ў їoрдaна къ м0рю.
8
8
And they departed with much wealth to their houses, and they divided the spoil of their enemies with their brethren; very much cattle, and silver, and gold, and iron, and much raiment.
9
9
So the sons of Ruben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse, departed from the children of Israel in Selo in the land of Chanaan, to go away into Galaad, into the land of their possession, which they inherited by the command of the Lord, by the hand of Moses. И# возврати1вшесz tид0ша сhнове руви6мли и3 сhнове гaдwвы и3 полплeмене манассjина t сынHвъ ї}левыхъ, t силHма земли2 ханаaни, tити2 въ зeмлю галаaдску, въ зeмлю њбдержaніz своегw2, ю4же наслёдиша по повелёнію гDню рук0ю мwmсeовою.
10
10
And they came to Galaad of Jordan, which is in the land of Chanaan: and the children of Ruben, and the children of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to look at. И# пріид0ша въ галілHfъ їoрдaнскъ, и4же є4сть въ земли2 ханаaни: и3 создaша сhнове руви6мли и3 сhнове гaдwвы и3 полплeмене манассjина тaмw nлтaрь ў їoрдaна, nлтaрь вели1къ є4же ви1дэти.
11
11
And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the sons of Ruben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse have built an altar at the borders of the land of Chanaan at Galaad of Jordan, on the opposite side to the children of Israel. И# ўслhшаша сhнове ї}лєвы глаг0лющихъ: сE, создaша сhнове руви6мли и3 сhнове гaдwвы и3 полплeмене манассjина nлтaрь ў предёлwвъ земли2 ханаaни, въ галілHfэ ў їoрдaна њб8 nнY странY сынHвъ ї}левыхъ.
12
12
And all the children of Israel gathered together to Selo, so as to go up and fight against them.
13
13
And the children of Israel sent to the sons of Ruben, and the sons of Gad, and to the sons of the half tribe of Manasse into the land of Galaad, both Phinees the son of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, И# послaша сhнове ї}лєвы къ сынHмъ руви6млимъ и3 къ сынHмъ гaдwвымъ и3 къ полуплeмени манассjину въ зeмлю галаaдску фінеeса сhна є3леазaра, сhна ґарHна жерцA,
14
14
and ten of the chiefs with him; there was one chief of every household out of all the tribes of Israel; (the heads of families are the captains of thousands in Israel.)
15
15
And they came to the sons of Ruben, and to the sons of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasse into the land of Galaad; and they spoke to them, saying, И# пріид0ша къ сынHмъ руви6млимъ и3 къ сынHмъ гaдwвымъ и3 къ полуплeмени манассjину въ зeмлю галаaдову, и3 рёша къ ни6мъ, глаг0люще:
16
16
Thus says the whole congregation of the Lord, What is this transgression that ye have transgressed before the God of Israel, to turn away today from the Lord, in that ye have built for yourselves an altar, so that ye should be apostates from the Lord? сі‰ глаг0летъ вeсь с0нмъ гDень: к0е прегрэшeніе сіE, и4мже согрэши1сте пред8 гDемъ бGомъ ї}левымъ, tврати1тисz днeсь t гDа бGа ї}лева, создaвше себЁ трeбище, є4же tстyпникwмъ вaмъ бhти днeсь t гDа;
17
17
Is the sin of Phogor too little for you, whereas we have not been cleansed from it until this day, though there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord? є3дA мaлъ вaмъ грёхъ фогHровъ, ћкw не њчи1стихомсz t негw2 дaже до сегw2 днE; и3 бhсть ћзва въ с0нмэ гDни:
18
18
And ye have this day revolted from the Lord; and it shall come to pass if ye revolt this day from the Lord, that to-morrow there shall be wrath upon all Israel.
19
19
And now if the land of your possession be too little, cross over to the land of the possession of the Lord, where the tabernacle of the Lord dwells, and receive ye an inheritance among us; and do not become apostates from God, neither do ye apostatize from the Lord, because of your having built an altar apart from the altar of the Lord our God. и3 нн7э ѓще малA вaмъ землS њбдержaніz вaшегw, прейди1те вы2 въ зeмлю њбдержaніz гDнz, и3дёже пребывaетъ ски1ніz гDнz, и3 наслёдите средЁ нaсъ, и3 не бyдите tст{пницы t гDа, и3 t нaсъ не tступи1те, за є4же создaти вaмъ трeбище кромЁ nлтарS гDа бGа нaшегw:
20
20
Lo! did not Achar the son of Zara commit a trespass taking of the accursed thing, and there was wrath on the whole congregation of Israel? and he himself died alone in his own sin.
21
21
And the sons of Ruben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse answered, and spoke to the captains of the thousands of Israel, saying, И# tвэщaша сhнове руви6мли и3 сhнове гaдwвы и3 полплeмене манассjина, и3 рёша тысzщеначaлникwмъ ї}лєвымъ, глаг0люще:
22
22
God even God is the Lord, and God even God himself knows, and Israel he shall know; if we have transgressed before the Lord by apostasy, let him not deliver us this day. бGъ бGъ, гDь є4сть, и3 бGъ бGъ гDь сaмъ вёсть, и3 ї}ль сaмъ познaетъ, ѓще во tступлeніи прегрэши1хомъ пред8 гDемъ, да не и3збaвитъ нaсъ во днeшній дeнь:
23
23
And if we have built to ourselves an altar, so as to apostatize from the Lord our God, so as to offer upon it a sacrifice of whole-burnt-offerings, so as to offer upon it a sacrifice of peace-offering,—the Lord shall require it. и3 ѓще создaхомъ себЁ трeбище, є4же tступи1ти нaмъ t гDа бGа нaшегw, и3ли2 вознести2 нaмъ нaнь жeртву всесожжeній, и3ли2 є4же сотвори1ти на нeмъ жeртву спасeніz, сaмъ гDь взhщетъ:
24
24
But we have done this for the sake of precaution concerning this thing, saying, Lest hereafter your sons should say to our sons, What have ye to do with the Lord God of Israel? но рaди благоговёніz глаг0ла сотвори1хомъ сіE, глаг0люще: да не рекyтъ заyтра ч†да в†ша чaдwмъ нaшымъ, глаг0люще: что2 вaмъ и3 гDеви бGу ї}леву;
25
25
Whereas the Lord has set boundaries between us and you, even Jordan, and ye have no portion in the Lord: so your sons shall alienate our sons, that they should not worship the Lord. и3 предёлы постaви гDь междY вaми и3 нaми, сhнове руви6мли и3 сhнове гaдwвы, їoрдaнъ, и3 нёсть вaмъ чaсти гDни: и3 tчуждsтъ сhнове вaши сынHвъ нaшихъ, ћкw да не слyжатъ гDу:
26
26
And we gave orders to do thus, to build this altar, not for burnt-offerings, nor for meat-offerings; и3 рек0хомъ сотвори1ти си1це, є4же создaти трeбище сіE, не приношeній рaди, нижE жeртвъ рaди,
27
27
but that this may be a witness between you and us, and between our posterity after us, that we may do service to the Lord before him, with our burnt-offerings and our meat-offerings and our peace-offerings: so your sons shall not say to our sons, hereafter, Ye have no portion in the Lord. но да бyдетъ свидётелство сіE междY вaми и3 нaми и3 междY рHды нaшими по нaсъ, є4же служи1ти слyжбу гDеви пред8 ни1мъ въ приношeніихъ нaшихъ и3 въ жeртвахъ нaшихъ и3 въ жeртвахъ спасeній нaшихъ: и3 да не рекyтъ ч†да в†ша заyтра чaдwмъ нaшымъ: нёсть вaмъ чaсти гDни.
28
28
And we said, If ever it should come to pass that they should speak so to us, or to our posterity hereafter; then shall they say, Behold the likeness of the altar of the Lord, which our fathers made, not for the sake of burnt-offerings, nor for the sake of meat-offerings, but it is a witness between you and us, and between our sons. И# рек0хомъ: ѓще бyдетъ когдA, и3 возглаг0лютъ къ нaмъ и3ли2 къ родHмъ нaшымъ заyтра и3 рекyтъ: зри1те под0біе жeртвенника гDнz, є3г0же сотвори1ша nтцы2 нaши, не приношeніz рaди, нижE жeртвъ рaди, но свидётелство є4сть междY нaми и3 междY вaми и3 междY сhны нaшими:
29
29
Far be it from us therefore that we should turn away from the Lord this day so as to apostatize from the Lord, so as that we should build an altar for burnt-offerings, and for peace-offerings, besides the altar of the Lord which is before his tabernacle. да не бyдетъ u5бо нaмъ tступи1ти t гDа, є4же tврати1тисz во днeшній дeнь t гDа, є4же сотвори1ти нaмъ жeртвенникъ приношeніємъ и3 жeртвамъ саламjнъ [ми6рнымъ] и3 жeртвэ спасeніz, кромЁ nлтарS гDа бGа нaшегw, и4же є4сть пред8 ски1ніею є3гw2.
30
30
And Phinees the priest and all the chiefs of the congregation of Israel who were with him heard the words which the children of Ruben, and the children of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse spoke; and it pleased them. И# ўслhшавше фінеeсъ жрeцъ и3 вси2 кн‰зи с0нма, и3 тысzщеначaлницы ї}лєвы, и5же бhша съ ни1мъ, словесA сі‰, ±же глаг0лаша сhнове руви6мли и3 сhнове гaдwвы и3 полплeмене манассjина, и3 ўг0дно и5мъ бhсть сіE.
31
31
And Phinees the priest said to the sons of Ruben, and to the sons of Gad, and to the half of the tribe of Manasse, To-day we know that the Lord is with us, because ye have not trespassed grievously against the Lord, and because ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the Lord. И# речE фінеeсъ жрeцъ сынHмъ руви6млимъ и3 сынHмъ гaдwвымъ и3 полуплeмени манассjину: днeсь познaхомъ, ћкw съ нaми є4сть гDь, и5же не погрэши1сте пред8 гDемъ прегрэшeніz, но днeсь и3збaвисте сhны ї}лєвы t руки2 гDни.
32
32
So Phinees the priest and the princes departed from the children of Ruben, and from the children of Gad, and from the half tribe of Manasse out of Galaad into the land of Chanaan to the children of Israel; and reported the words to them. И# возврати1сz фінеeсъ жрeцъ и3 кн‰зи nтeчествъ t сынHвъ руви1млихъ и3 t сынHвъ гaдовыхъ и3 t полуплeмене манассjина t земли2 галаaдовы въ зeмлю ханаaню къ сынHмъ ї}лєвымъ: и3 tвэщaша и5мъ словесA сі‰.
33
33
And it pleased the children of Israel; and they spoke to the children of Israel, and blessed the God of the children of Israel, and told them to go up no more to war against the others to destroy the land of the children of Ruben, and the children of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasse: so they dwelt upon it.
34
34
And Joshua gave a name to the altar of the children of Ruben, and the children of Gad, and of the half tribe of Manasse; and said, It is a testimony in the midst of them, that the Lord is their God.
