But the children of Israel committed a great trespass, and purloined part of the accursed thing; and Achar the son of Charmi, the son of Zambri, the son of Zara, of the tribe of Juda, took of the accursed thing; and the Lord was very angry with the children of Israel.	И# прегрэши1ша сhнове ї}лєвы прегрэшeніемъ вели1кимъ, и3 взsша t клsтвы: взs бо ґхaръ сhнъ хармjи, сhна замврjи, сhна зaры, t плeмене їyдина, t клsтвы. И# разгнёвасz гDь ћростію на сhны ї}лєвы.

And Joshua sent men to Gai, which is by Bæthel, saying, Spy out Gai: and the men went up and spied Gai.	И# послA їисyсъ мyжы t їеріхHна въ гaй, и4же є4сть проти1ву виfavнъ на вост0къ веfи1лz, и3 речE и5мъ, глаг0лz: шeдше соглsдайте зeмлю. И# и3д0ша мyжіе и3 соглsдаша гaй.

And they returned to Joshua, and said to him, Let not all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and take the city by siege: carry not up thither the whole people, for the enemy are few.	И# возврати1шасz ко їисyсу и3 рек0ша є3мY: да не и4дутъ вси2 лю1діе, но ћкw двЁ тhсzщы и3ли2 три2 тhсzщы мужeй да и4дутъ и3 да вою1ютъ гaй: да не ведeши тaмw всёхъ людjй, мaлw бо є4сть и4хъ (тaмw).

And there went up about three thousand men, and they fled from before the men of Gai.	И# и3д0ша t людjй тaмw, ѓки три2 тhсzщы мужeй, и3 побэг0ша t лицA мужeй гaйскихъ:

And the men of Gai slew of them to the number of thirty-six men, and they pursued them from the gate, and destroyed them from the steep hill; and the heart of the people was alarmed and became as water.	и3 ўби1ша t ни1хъ мyжіе гaйстіи ћкw три1десzть и3 шeсть мужeй, и3 tгнaша и5хъ t врaтъ, д0ндеже сокруши1ша и5хъ на стремни1нэ: и3 ўжасeсz сeрдце людjй, и3 бhсть ћкw водA.

And Joshua tore his garments; and Joshua fell on the earth on his face before the Lord until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they cast dust on their heads.	И# растерзA їисyсъ ри6зы сво‰, и3 падE на земли2 на лицE своE пред8 гDемъ дaже до вeчера, сaмъ и3 стaрцы ї}лєвы: и3 посhпаша пeрсть на главы6 сво‰.

And Joshua said, I pray, Lord, wherefore has thy servant brought this people over Jordan to deliver them to the Amorite to destroy us? would we had remained and settled ourselves beyond Jordan.	И# речE їисyсъ: молю1сz, гDи гDи, вскyю преведE рaбъ тв0й лю1ди сі‰ чрез8 їoрдaнъ предaти и5хъ ґморрewмъ на погублeніе; q, да бhхомъ пребhли и3 всели1лисz ў їoрдaна:

And what shall I say since Israel has turned his back before his enemy?	гDи, что2 рекY; понeже tврати2 ї}ль вhю свою2 пред8 враги6 свои1ми:

And when the Chananite and all the inhabitants of the land hear it, they shall compass us round and destroy us from off the land: and what wilt thou do for thy great name?	и3 ўслhшавъ хананeй и3 вси2 живyщіи на земли2 њбhдутъ нaсъ и3 потребsтъ нaсъ t земли2: и3 что2 сотвори1ши и4мени твоемY вели1кому;

And the Lord said to Joshua, Rise up; why hast thou fallen upon thy face?	И# речE гDь ко їисyсу: востaни, вскyю ты2 пaлъ є3си2 на лицE твоE;

The people has sinned, and transgressed the covenant which I made with them; they have stolen from the cursed thing, and put it into their store.	согрэши1ша лю1діе и3 преступи1ша завётъ м0й, є3г0же завэщaхъ къ ни6мъ, и3 ўкрaдше t клsтвы, скрhша въ сосyдэхъ свои1хъ:

And the children of Israel will not be able to stand before their enemies; they will turn their back before their enemies, for they have become an accursed thing: I will not any longer be with you, unless ye remove the cursed thing from yourselves.	сегw2 рaди не м0гутъ сhнове ї}лєвы стaти пред8 лицeмъ врагHвъ свои1хъ, но хребeтъ њбратsтъ пред8 враги6 свои1ми, ћкw клsтвою стaшасz: не приложY ксемY бhти съ вaми, ѓще не и4змете клsтвы t себє2 сами1хъ:

Rise, sanctify the people and tell them to sanctify themselves for the morrow: thus says the Lord God of Israel, The accursed thing is among you; ye shall not be able to stand before your enemies, until ye shall have removed the cursed thing from among you.	востaвъ њчи1сти лю1ди и3 рцы2: њчи1ститесz на ќтро: ћкw сі‰ гlетъ гDь бGъ ї}левъ: клsтва є4сть въ вaсъ, не возм0жете стaти пред8 враги6 вaшими, д0ндеже и4змете t себє2 сами1хъ клsтву:

And ye shall all be gathered together by your tribes in the morning, and it shall come to pass that the tribe which the Lord shall shew, ye shall bring by families; and the family which the Lord shall shew, ye shall bring by households; and the household which the Lord shall shew, ye shall bring man by man.	и3 собери1тесz вси2 заyтра по племенHмъ (вaшымъ), и3 бyдетъ плeмz, є4же покaжетъ гDь, да приведeте по с0нмwмъ: и3 с0нмъ, є3г0же покaжетъ гDь, да приведeте по домHмъ: и3 д0мъ, є3г0же покaжетъ гDь, да приведeте по мужє1мъ:

And the man who shall be pointed out, shall be burnt with fire, and all that he has; because he has transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and has wrought wickedness in Israel.	и3 и4же њбличи1тсz, да сожжeтсz nгнeмъ, сaмъ и3 вс‰ є3ли6ка сyть є3гw2, ћкw преступи2 завётъ гDень и3 сотвори2 беззак0ніе во ї}ли.

And Joshua rose up early, and brought the people by their tribes; and the tribe of Juda was pointed out.	И# востA їисyсъ заyтра, и3 приведE людjй по племенHмъ: и3 њбличи1сz плeмz їyдино.

And it was brought by their families, and the family of the Zaraites was pointed out.	И# приведeсz по с0нмwмъ, и3 њбличи1сz с0нмъ зарaинъ: и3 приведeсz с0нмъ зарaинъ по мужє1мъ, и3 њбличи1сz д0мъ замврjинъ.

And it was brought man by man, and Achar the son of Zambri the son of Zara was pointed out.	И# приведeсz д0мъ є3гw2 по мужє1мъ, и3 њбличи1сz ґхaръ сhнъ хармjинъ сhна замврjина, сhна зарaнz, t плeмене їyдина.

And Joshua said to Achar, Give glory this day to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession; and tell me what thou hast done, and hide it not from me.	И# речE їисyсъ ґхaру: сhне м0й, дaждь слaву днeсь гDу бGу ї}леву, и3 дaждь є3мY и3сповёданіе, и3 и3сповёждь ми2, что2 сотвори1лъ є3си2, и3 не ўтaй t менє2.

And Achar answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel: thus and thus have I done:	И# tвэщA ґхaръ їисyсу и3 речE: пои1стиннэ ѓзъ согрэши1хъ пред8 гDемъ бGомъ ї}левымъ: си1це и3 си1це сотвори1хъ:

I saw in the spoil an embroidered mantle, and two hundred didrachms of silver, and one golden wedge of fifty didrachms, and I desired them and took them; and, behold, they are hid in my tent, and the silver is hid under them.	ви1дэхъ въ плёнэ ри1зу краснY и3 добрY и3 двёсти дідрaхмъ сребрA, и3 сосyдъ є3ди1нъ злaтъ, пzтьдесsтъ дідрaхмъ вёсъ є3гw2: и3 помhсливъ на нS взsхъ: и3 сE, сі‰ сокровє1нна сyть въ земли2 въ кyщи моeй, и3 сребро2 сокровeнно под8 ни1ми.

And Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent into the camp; and these things were hidden in his tent, and the silver under them.	И# послA їисyсъ послы2, и3 и3д0ша въ кyщу въ п0лкъ: и3 сі‰ бsху сокровє1нна въ кyщи є3гw2, и3 сребро2 под8 ни1ми.

And they brought them out of the tent, and brought them to Joshua and the elders of Israel, and they laid them before the Lord.	И# и3знес0ша \| и3з8 кyщи, и3 принес0ша ко їисyсу и3 къ стaрцємъ ї}лєвымъ, и3 положи1ша \| пред8 гDемъ.

And Joshua took Achar the son of Zara, and brought him to the valley of Achor, and his sons, and his daughters, and his calves, and his asses, and all his sheep, and his tent, and all his property, and all the people were with him; and he brought them to Emec Achor.	И# взS їисyсъ ґхaра сhна зарaнz, и3 сребро2 и3 ри1зу и3 сосyдъ златhй, и3 возведE є3го2 въ дeбрь ґхHръ, и3 сhны є3гw2 и3 дщє1ри є3гw2, и3 телцы2 є3гw2 и3 nслsта є3гw2 и3 вс‰ џвцы є3гw2, и3 кyщу є3гw2 и3 вс‰ и3мBніz є3гw2, и3 вeсь ї}ль по нeмъ: и3 возведE \| (со всёмъ) во є3мeкъ [въ дeбрь] ґхHръ.

And Joshua said to Achar, Why hast thou destroyed us? the Lord destroy thee as at this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones.	И# речE їисyсъ ґхaру: почто2 потреби1лъ є3си2 нaсъ; да потреби1тъ тS гDь, ћкоже и3 днeсь. И# поби1ша є3го2 кaменіемъ вeсь ї}ль, и3 сожг0ша вс‰ nгнeмъ, и3 наметaша и5хъ кaменіемъ,

And they set up over him a great heap of stones; and the Lord ceased from his fierce anger. Therefore he called the place Emecachor until this day.	и3 наметaша на нeмъ громaду кaменіz вели1ку. И# престA гDь t ћрости гнёва своегw2. Сегw2 рaди прозвaсz и4мz мёсту томY є3мeкъ ґхHръ дaже до днE сегw2.
