And the Lord called Moses again and spoke to him out of the tabernacle of witness, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them,	І воззвав Господь до Мойсея і сказав йому зі скинії зібрання, говорячи:

If any man of you shall bring gifts to the Lord, ye shall bring your gifts of the cattle and of the oxen and of the sheep.	оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: коли хто з вас хоче принести жертву Господу, то, якщо з худоби, приносьте жертву вашу з худоби великої і дрібної.

If his gift be a whole-burnt-offering, he shall bring an unblemished male of the herd to the door of the tabernacle of witness, he shall bring it as acceptable before the Lord.	Якщо жертва його є всепаленням з великої худоби, нехай принесе її чоловічої статі, без вад; нехай приведе її до дверей скинії зібрання, щоб придбати йому благовоління перед Господом;

And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt-offering as a thing acceptable for him, to make atonement for him.	і покладе руку свою на голову жертви всепалення — і придбає він благовоління, в очищення гріхів його;

And they shall slay the calf before the Lord; and the sons of Aaron the priests shall bring the blood, and they shall pour the blood round about on the altar, which is at the doors of the tabernacle of witness.	і заколе тельця перед Господом; сини ж Ааронові, священики, принесуть кров і покроплять кров’ю з усіх боків на жертовник, який при вході у скинію зібрання;

And having flayed the whole burnt-offering, they shall divide it by its limbs.	і зніме шкуру з жертви всепалення і розсіче її на частини;

And the sons of Aaron the priests shall put fire on the altar, and shall pile wood on the fire.	сини ж Ааронові, священики, покладуть на жертовник вогонь і на вогні розкладуть дрова;
8	8
And the sons of Aaron the priests shall pile up the divided parts, and the head, and the fat on the wood on the fire, the wood which is on the altar.	і розкладуть сини Ааронові, священики, частини, голову і жир на дровах, що на вогні, на жертовнику;

And the entrails and the feet they shall wash in water, and the priests shall put all on the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.	а нутрощі жертви і ноги її вимиє він водою, і спалить священик усе на жертовнику: це всепалення, жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу.

And if his gift be of the sheep to the Lord, or of the lambs, or of the kids for whole-burnt-offerings, he shall bring it a male without blemish.	Якщо жертва всепалення його [Господу] з дрібної худоби, з овець, або з кіз, нехай принесе її чоловічої статі, без вад, [і нехай покладе руку на голову її,]

And he shall lay his hand on its head; and they shall kill it by the side of the altar, toward the north before the Lord, and the sons of Aaron the priests shall pour its blood on the altar round about.	і заколе її перед Господом на північній стороні жертовника, і сини Ааронові, священики, покроплять кров’ю її на жертовник з усіх боків;

And they shall divide it by its limbs, and its head and its fat, and the priests shall pile them up on the wood which is on the fire, on the altar.	і розсічуть її на частини, відокремивши голову її і жир її, і розкладе їх священик на дровах, які на вогні, на жертовнику,

And they shall wash the entrails and the feet with water, and the priest shall bring all the parts and put them on the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.	а нутрощі і ноги вимиє водою, і принесе священик усе і спалить на жертовнику: це всепалення, жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу.

And if he bring his gift, a burnt-offering to the Lord, of birds, then shall he bring his gift of doves or pigeons.	Якщо ж із птахів приносить він Господу всепалення, нехай принесе жертву свою з горлиць, або з молодих голубів;

And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and shall wring off its head; and the priest shall put it on the altar, and shall wring out the blood at the bottom of the altar.	священик принесе її до жертовника, і скрутить їй голову, і спалить на жертовнику, а кров вицідить до стіни жертовника;

And he shall take away the crop with the feathers, and shall cast it forth by the altar toward the east to the place of the ashes.	зоб її з пір’ям її відніме і кине його поряд з жертовником на східну сторону, де попіл;

And he shall break it off from the wings and shall not separate it, and the priest shall put it on the altar on the wood which is on the fire: it is a burnt-offering, a sacrifice, a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord.	і надламає її в крилах її, не відокремлюючи їх, і спалить її священик на жертовнику, на дровах, які на вогні: це всепалення, жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу.
Chapter 2	Глава 2

1	1
And if a soul bring a gift, a sacrifice to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.	Якщо яка душа хоче принести Господу жертву приношення хлібного, нехай принесе пшеничного борошна, й увіллє на нього єлею, і покладе на нього ливану,

And he shall bring it to the priests the sons of Aaron: and having taken from it a handful of the fine flour with the oil, and all its frankincense, then the priest shall put the memorial of it on the altar: it is a sacrifice, an odour of sweet savour to the Lord.	і принесе його до синів Ааронових, священиків, і візьме повну жменю борошна з єлеєм і з усім ливаном, і спалить це священик у пам’ять на жертовнику; це жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу;

And the remainder of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord.	а залишки від приношення хлібного Аарону і синам його: це велика святиня з жертв Господніх.
4	4
And if he bring as a gift a sacrifice baked from the oven, a gift to the Lord of fine flour, he shall bring unleavened bread kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil.	Якщо ж приносиш жертву приношення хлібного зі спеченого в печі, то принось пшеничні хліби прісні, змішані з єлеєм, і коржі прісні, помазані єлеєм.

And if thy gift be a sacrifice from a pan, it is fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened offerings.	Якщо жертва твоя — приношення хлібне зі сковороди, то це повинно бути пшеничне борошно, змішане з єлеєм, прісне;

And thou shalt break them into fragments and pour oil upon them: it is a sacrifice to the Lord.	розламай його на шматки й влий на нього єлею: це приношення хлібне [Господеві].

And if thy gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.	Якщо жертва твоя — приношення хлібне з горщика, то потрібно зробити це із пшеничного борошна з єлеєм,

And he shall offer the sacrifice which he shall make of these to the Lord, and shall bring it to the priest.	і принеси приношення, що з цього складено, Господу; представ це священику, а він принесе його до жертовника;

And the priest shall approach the altar, and shall take away from the sacrifice a memorial of it, and the priest shall place it on the altar: a burnt offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.	і візьме священик із цієї жертви частину в пам’ять і спалить на жертовнику: це жертва, пахощі, приємні Господеві;

And that which is left of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, most holy from the burnt-offerings of the Lord.	а залишки приношення хлібного Аарону і синам його: це велика святиня з жертв Господніх.

Ye shall not leaven any sacrifice which ye shall bring to the Lord; for as to any leaven, or any honey, ye shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord.	Ніякого приношення хлібного, яке приносите Господу, не робіть квасного, тому що ні квасного, ні меду не повинні ви спалювати в жертву Господу;

Ye shall bring them in the way of fruits to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord.	як приношення початків приносьте їх Господеві, а на жертовник не можна возносити їх у приємні пахощі.

And every gift of your sacrifice shall be seasoned with salt; omit not the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices: on every gift of yours ye shall offer salt to the Lord your God.	Всяке приношення твоє хлібне соли́ сіллю, і не залишай жертви твоєї без соли завіту Бога твого: при всякому приношенні твоєму принось [Господу Богу твоєму] сіль.

And if thou wouldest offer a sacrifice of first-fruits to the Lord, it shall be new grains ground and roasted for the Lord; so shalt thou bring the sacrifice of the first-fruits.	Якщо приносиш Господу приношення хлібне з перших плодів, принось у дар від перших плодів твоїх з колосся, висушеного на вогні, розтовчені зерна,

And thou shalt pour oil upon it, and shalt put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.	і влий на них єлею, і поклади на них ливану: це приношення хлібне;
16	16
And the priest shall offer the memorial of it taken from the grains with the oil, and all its frankincense: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord.	і спалить священик у пам’ять частину зерен і єлею з усім ливаном: це жертва Господу.
Chapter 3	Глава 3

1	1
And if his gift to the Lord be a peace-offering, if he should bring it of the oxen, whether it be male or whether it be female, he shall bring it unblemished before the Lord. And he shall lay his hands on the head of the gift, and shall slay it before the Lord, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness. And they shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord, the fat covering the belly, and all the fat on the belly.	і принесе він з мирної жертви в жертву Господу жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах,

And the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them; he shall take away that which is on the thighs, and the caul above the liver together with the kidneys.	і обидві нирки і жир, який на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками він відокремить це;
5	5
And the priests the sons of Aaron shall offer them on the altar on the burnt-offering, on the wood which is on the fire upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.	і сини Ааронові спалять це на жертовнику разом із всепаленням, яке на дровах, на вогні: це жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу.

And if his gift be of the sheep, a peace-offering to the Lord, male or female, he shall bring it unblemished.	А якщо з дрібної худоби приносить він мирну жертву Господу, чоловічої або жіночої статі, нехай принесе її, що не має вад.

If he bring a lamb for his gift, he shall bring it before the Lord.	Якщо з овець приносить він жертву свою, нехай представить її перед Господом,

And he shall lay his hands on the head of his offering, and shall slay it by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about.	і покладе руку свою на голову жертви своєї, і заколе її перед скинією зібрання, і сини Ааронові покроплять кров’ю її на жертовник з усіх боків;

And he shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord: the fat and the hinder part unblemished he shall take away with the loins, and having taken away all the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly,	і нехай принесе з мирної жертви у жертву Господу жир її, весь курдюк, відрізавши його по саму хребтову кістку, і жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах,

and both the kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and that which is on the thighs, and the caul which is on the liver with the kidneys,	і обидві нирки і жир, що на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками він відокремить це;
11	11
the priest shall offer these on the altar: it is a sacrifice of sweet savour, a burnt-offering to the Lord.	священик спалить це на жертовнику; це пожива вогню — жертва Господу.
12	12
And if his offering be of the goats, then shall he bring it before the Lord.	А якщо він приносить жертву з кіз, нехай представить її перед Господом,
13	13
And he shall lay his hands on its head; and they shall slay it before the Lord by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about.	і покладе руку свою на голову її, і заколе її перед скинією зібрання, і покроплять сини Ааронові кров’ю її на жертовник з усіх боків;
14	14
And he shall offer of it a burnt-offering to the Lord, even the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly.	і принесе з неї в приношення, у жертву Господу жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах,
15	15
And both the kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, that which is upon the thighs, and the caul of the liver with the kidneys, shall he take away.	і обидві нирки і жир, що на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками він відокремить це
16	16
And the priest shall offer it upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. All the fat belongs to the Lord.	і спалить їх священик на жертовнику: це пожива вогню — приємні пахощі [Господу]; весь жир Господу.

It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your habitations; ye shall eat no fat and no blood.	Ця постанова вічна в роди ваші, в усіх оселях ваших; ніякого жиру і ніякої крови не їжте.
Chapter 4	Глава 4

1	1
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, кажучи:

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin unwillingly before the Lord, in any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which he ought not to do, and shall do some of them;	скажи синам Ізраїлевим: якщо яка душа згрішить помилково проти яких-небудь заповідей Господніх і зробить що-небудь, чого не треба робити;

if the anointed priest sin so as to cause the people to sin, then shall he bring for his sin, which he has sinned, an unblemished calf of the herd to the Lord for his sin.	якщо священик помазаний згрішить і зробить винним народ, — то за гріх свій, яким згрішив, нехай принесе з великої худоби тельця, без вад, Господу в жертву за гріх,

And he shall bring the calf to the door of the tabernacle of witness before the Lord, and he shall put his hand on the head of the calf before the Lord, and shall slay the calf in the presence of the Lord.	і приведе тельця до дверей скинії зібрання перед Господом, і покладе руки свої на голову тельця, і заколе тельця перед Господом;

And the anointed priest who has been consecrated having received of the blood of the calf, shall then bring it into the tabernacle of witness.	і візьме священик помазаний, [освячений довершеним освяченням,] крови тельця і внесе її в скинію зібрання,
6	6
And the priest shall dip his finger into the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, over against the holy veil.	і вмочить священик перст свій у кров і покропить кров’ю сім разів перед Господом перед завісою святилища;
7	7
And the priest shall put of the blood of the calf on the horns of the altar of the compound incense which is before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of witness; and all the blood of the calf shall he pour out by the foot of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, which is by the doors of the tabernacle of witness.	і покладе священик кров [тельця] перед Господом на роги жертовника запашного кадіння, що у скинії зібрання, а решту крови тельця виллє до підніжжя жертовника всепалень, що біля входу скинії зібрання;

And all the fat of the calf of the sin-offering shall he take off from it; the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,	і вийме з тельця за гріх весь жир його, жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах,
9	9
and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, that which is on the thighs, and the caul that is on the liver with the kidneys, them shall he take away,	і обидві нирки і жир, що на них, що на стегнах, і сальник на печінці; з нирками відокремить він це,
10	10
as he takes it away from the calf of the sacrifice of peace-offering, so shall the priest offer it on the altar of burnt-offering.	як відокремлюється з тельця жертви мирної; і спалить їх священик на жертовнику всепалення;
11	11
And they shall take the skin of the calf, and all his flesh with the head and the extremities and the belly and the dung,	а шкуру тельця і все м’ясо його з головою і з ногами його, і нутрощі його і нечистоту його,
12	12
and they shall carry out the whole calf out of the camp into a clean place, where they pour out the ashes, and they shall consume it there on wood with fire: it shall be burnt on the ashes poured out.	усього тельця нехай винесе поза стан на чисте місце, де висипається попіл, і спалить його вогнем на дровах; де висипається попіл, там нехай спалений буде.
13	13
And if the whole congregation of Israel trespass ignorantly, and a thing should escape the notice of the congregation, and they should do one thing forbidden of any of the commands of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and should transgress:	Якщо ж уся громада Ізраїлева згрішить помилково і сховане буде діло від очей зібрання, і зробить що-небудь проти заповідей Господніх, чого не належало робити, і буде винна,

and the sin wherein they have sinned should become known to them, then shall the congregation bring an unblemished calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and they shall bring it to the doors of the tabernacle of witness.	то, коли викритий буде гріх, яким вони згрішили, нехай від усієї громади принесуть з великої худоби тельця в жертву за гріх і приведуть його перед скинію зібрання;
15	15
And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the calf before the Lord, and they shall slay the calf before the Lord.	і покладуть старійшини громади руки свої на голову тельця перед Господом і заколють тельця перед Господом;
16	16
And the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the calf into the tabernacle of witness.	І внесе помазаний священик кров тельця в скинію зібрання,
17	17
And the priest shall dip his finger into some of the blood of the calf, and shall sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.	і вмочить священик перст свій у кров [тельця] і покропить сім разів перед Господом перед завісою [святилища],
18	18
And the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of the incense of composition, which is before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of witness; and he shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, which is by the door of the tabernacle of witness.	і покладе кров на роги жертовника [запашного куріння], який перед лицем Господнім у скинії зібрання, а решту крови виллє до підніжжя жертовника всепалення, що при вході скинії зібрання;

And he shall take away all the fat from it, and shall offer it up on the altar.	і весь жир його вийме з нього і спалить на жертовнику;
20	20
And he shall do to the calf as he did to the calf of the sin-offering, so shall it be done; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and the trespass shall be forgiven them.	і зробить з тельцем те, що робиться з тельцем за гріх: так повинен зробити з ним, і так очистить їх священик, і прощено буде їм;
21	21
And they shall carry forth the calf whole without the camp, and they shall burn the calf as they burnt the former calf: it is the sin-offering of the congregation.	і винесе тельця поза стан, і спалить його так, як спалив попереднього тельця. Це жертва за гріх громади.
22	22
And if a ruler sin, and break one of all the commands of the Lord his God, doing the thing which ought not to be done, unwillingly, and shall sin and trespass,	А якщо згрішить начальник, і зробить помилково що-небудь проти заповідей Господа, Бога свого, чого не належало робити, і буде винен,
23	23
and his trespass wherein he has sinned, be known to him,—then shall he offer for his gift a kid of the goats, a male without blemish.	то, коли пізнаний буде ним гріх, яким він згрішив, нехай приведе він у жертву козла без вад,
24	24
And he shall lay his hand on the head of the kid, and they shall kill it in the place where they kill the victims for whole-burnt-offerings before the Lord; it is a sin-offering.	і покладе руку свою на голову козла, і заколе його на місці, де заколюються всепалення перед Господом: це жертва за гріх;
25	25
And the priest shall put some of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger on the horns of the altar of whole-burnt-offering; and he shall pour out all its blood by the bottom of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings.	і візьме священик перстом своїм крови від жертви за гріх і покладе на роги жертовника всепалення, а решту крови його виллє до підніжжя жертовника всепалення;

And he shall offer up all his fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.	і весь жир його спалить на жертовнику, подібно як жир жертви мирної, і так очистить його священик від гріха його, і прощено буде йому.
27	27
And if a soul of the people of the land should sin unwillingly, in doing a thing contrary to any of the commandments of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and shall transgress,	Якщо ж хто з народу землі згрішить помилково і зробить що-небудь проти заповідей Господніх, чого не належало робити, і винен буде,
28	28
and his sin should be known to him, wherein he has sinned, then shall he bring a kid of the goats, a female without blemish shall he bring for his sin, which he has sinned.	то, коли пізнаний буде ним гріх, яким він згрішив, нехай приведе він у жертву козу без вад за гріх свій, яким він згрішив,
29	29
And he shall lay his hand on the head of his sin-offering, and they shall slay the kid of the sin-offering in the place where they slay the victims for whole-burnt-offerings.	і покладе руку свою на голову жертви за гріх, і заколють [козу] у жертву за гріх на місці, [де заколюють] жертву всепалення;
30	30
And the priest shall take of its blood with his finger, and shall put it on the horns of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings; and all its blood he shall pour forth by the foot of the altar.	і візьме священик крови її перстом своїм, і покладе на роги жертовника всепалення, а решту крови її виллє до підніжжя жертовника;
31	31
And he shall take away all the fat, as the fat is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offering, and the priest shall offer it on the altar for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and his sin shall be forgiven him.	і весь жир її відокремить, подібно як відокремлюється жир із жертви мирної, і спалить його священик на жертовнику в приємні пахощі Господу; і так очистить його священик, і прощено буде йому.
32	32
And if he should offer a lamb for his sin-offering, he shall offer it a female without blemish.	А якщо з отари овець захоче він принести жертву за гріх, нехай принесе жіночої статі, без вад,
33	33
And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and they shall kill it in the place where they kill the victims for whole-burnt-offerings.	і покладе руку свою на голову жертви за гріх, і заколе її в жертву за гріх на тому місці, де заколюють жертву всепалення;

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and shall put it on the horns of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and he shall pour out all its blood by the bottom of the altar of whole-burnt-offering.	і візьме священик перстом своїм крови від цієї жертви за гріх і покладе на роги жертовника всепалення, а решту крови її виллє до підніжжя жертовника;

And he shall take away all his fat, as the fat of the lamb of the sacrifice of peace-offering is taken away, and the priest shall put it on the altar for a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord; and the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.	і весь жир її відокремить, як відокремлюється жир вівці з жертви мирної, і спалить це священик на жертовнику в жертву Господу; і так очистить його священик від гріха, яким він згрішив, і прощено буде йому.
Chapter 5	Глава 5

1	1
And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and he is a witness or has seen or been conscious, if he do not report it, he shall bear his iniquity.	Якщо хто згрішить тим, що чув голос прокляття і був свідком, або бачив, або знав, але не оголосив, то він понесе на собі гріх.
2	2
That soul which shall touch any unclean thing, or carcase, or that which is unclean being taken of beasts, or the dead bodies of abominable reptiles which are unclean, or carcases of unclean cattle,	Або якщо доторкнеться до чого-небудь нечистого, або до трупа звіра нечистого, або до трупа худоби нечистої, або до трупа гада нечистого, але не знав того, то він нечистий і винний.

or should touch the uncleanness of a man, of whatever kind, which he may touch and be defiled by, and it should have escaped him, but afterwards he should know,—then he shall have transgressed.	Або якщо доторкнеться до нечистоти людської, яка б то не була нечистота, від якої оскверняються, і він не знав того, але після довідається, то він винний.

That unrighteous soul, which determines with his lips to do evil or to do good according to whatsoever a man may determine with an oath, and it shall have escaped his notice, and he shall afterwards know it, and so he should sin in some one of these things:—	Або якщо хто безрозсудно устами своїми поклянеться зробити що-небудь зле або добре, яка б то не була справа, в якій люди безрозсудно клянуться, і він не знав того, але після довідався, то він винний в тому.

And if he cannot afford a sheep, he shall bring for his sin which he has sinned, two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the Lord; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the side of the altar, but the rest of the blood he shall drop at the foot of the altar, for it is a sin-offering.	і покропить кров’ю цієї жертви за гріх стіну жертовника, а решту крови вицідить до підніжжя жертовника: це жертва за гріх;

And he shall make the second a whole-burnt-offering, as it is fit; and the priest shall make atonement for his sin which he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.	а іншу вживе у всепалення за встановленням; і так очистить його священик від гріха його, яким він згрішив, і прощено буде йому.

The soul which shall be really unconscious, and shall sin unwillingly in any of the holy things of the Lord, shall even bring to the Lord for his transgression, a ram of the flock without blemish, valued according to shekels of silver according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for his transgression wherein he transgressed.	якщо хто вчинить злочин і помилково згрішить проти посвяченого Господу, нехай за вину свою принесе Господу з отари овець барана без вад, за твоєю оцінкою, срібними сиклями по сиклю священному, у жертву за провину;

The soul which shall have sinned, and wilfully overlooked the commandments of the Lord, and shall have dealt falsely in the affairs of his neighbour in the matter of a deposit, or concerning fellowship, or concerning plunder, or has in anything wronged his neighbour,

or has found that which was lost, and shall have lied concerning it, and shall have sworn unjustly concerning any one of all the things, whatsoever a man may do, so as to sin hereby;

it shall come to pass, whensoever he shall have sinned, and transgressed, that he shall restore the plunder which he has seized, or redress the injury which he has committed, or restore the deposit which was entrusted to him, or the lost article which he has found

of any kind, about which he swore unjustly, he shall even restore it in full; and he shall add to it a fifth part besides; he shall restore it to him whose it is in the day in which he happens to be convicted.
25
And he shall bring to the Lord for his trespass, a ram of the flock, without blemish, of value to the amount of the thing in which he trespassed.

And the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any one of all the things which he did and trespassed in it.
Chapter 6	Глава 6

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, кажучи:

Charge Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of whole-burnt-offering; this is the whole-burnt-offering in its burning on the altar all the night till the morning; and the fire of the altar shall burn on it, it shall not be put out.	якщо хто згрішить і вчинить злочин перед Господом і стане заперечувати перед ближнім своїм у тім, що йому доручено, або у нього покладено, або ним украдено, або обмане ближнього свого,

And the priest shall put on the linen tunic, and he shall put the linen drawers on his body; and shall take away that which has been thoroughly burnt, which the fire shall have consumed, even the whole-burnt-offering from the altar, and he shall put it near the altar.	або знайде загублене і заперечуватиме це, і поклянеться неправдиво в чому-небудь, що люди роблять і тим грішать, —

And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour of the sacrifice with its oil, and with all its frankincense, which are upon the sacrifice; and he shall offer up on the altar a burnt-offering as a sweet-smelling savour, a memorial of it to the Lord.	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

And Aaron and his sons shall eat that which is left of it: it shall be eaten without leaven in a holy place, they shall eat it in the court of the tabernacle of witness.	заповідай Аарону і синам його: ось закон всепалення: всепалення нехай залишається на місці спалення на жертовнику всю ніч до ранку, і вогонь жертовника нехай горить на ньому [і не вгасає];

It shall not be baked with leaven. This is the gift of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer to the Lord in the day in which thou shalt anoint him; the tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sacrifice continually, the half of it in the morning, and the half of it in the evening.	вогонь безперестанно нехай горить на жертовнику і не вгасає.

It shall be made with oil in a frying-pan; he shall offer it kneaded and in rolls, an offering of fragments, an offering of a sweet savour unto the Lord.	Ось закон про приношення хлібне: [священики] сини Ааронові повинні приносити його перед Господом до жертовника;

Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin-offering;—in the place where they slay the whole-burnt-offering, they shall slay the sin-offerings before the Lord: they are most holy. Every one that touches the flesh of it shall be holy, and on whosesoever garment any of its blood shall have been sprinkled, whosoever shall have it sprinkled, shall be washed in the holy place.	ось приношення від Аарона і синів його, яке принесуть вони Господу в день помазання його: десята частина ефи пшеничного борошна в жертву постійну, половина цього для ранку і половина для вечора;

And if it be a vow, or he offer his gift of his own will, on whatsoever day he shall offer his sacrifice, it shall be eaten, and on the morrow. And if he do at all eat of the flesh on the third day, it shall not be accepted for him that offers: it shall not be reckoned to him, it is pollution; and whatsoever soul shall eat of it, shall bear his iniquity.	якщо ж будуть їсти м’ясо мирної жертви на третій день, то вона не буде благоприємна; хто її принесе, тому ні у що не буде ставитися: це осквернення, і хто буде їсти її, той понесе на собі гріх;

And whatsoever soul shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering which is the Lord's, and his uncleanness be upon him, that soul shall perish from his people.	якщо ж яка душа, маючи на собі нечистоту, буде їсти м’ясо мирної жертви Господньої, то знищиться душа та з народу свого;

And whatsoever soul shall touch any unclean thing, either of the uncleanness of a man, or of unclean quadrupeds, or any unclean abominable thing, and shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering, which is the Lord's, that soul shall perish from his people.	і якщо яка душа, доторкнувшись до чого-небудь нечистого, до нечистоти людської, або до нечистої худоби, або до якого-небудь нечистого плазуна, буде їсти м’ясо мирної жертви Господньої, то знищиться душа та з народу свого.

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no fat of oxen or sheep or goats.	скажи синам Ізраїлевим: ніякого жиру ні з вола, ні з вівці, ні з козла не їжте.

And the fat of such animals as have died of themselves, or have been seized of beasts, may be employed for any work; but it shall not be eaten for food.	Жир з мертвого і жир з роздертого звіром можна вживати на всяку справу; а їсти не їжте його;

Every one that eats fat off the beasts, from which he will bring a burnt-offering to the Lord—that soul shall perish from his people.	тому що, хто буде їсти жир з худоби, що приноситься в жертву Господу, знищиться душа та з народу свого;

Ye shall eat no blood in all your habitations, either of beasts or of birds.	і ніякої крови не їжте в усіх оселях ваших ні з птахів, ні з худоби;

Thou shalt also speak to the children of Israel, saying, He that offers a sacrifice of peace-offering, shall bring his gift to the Lord also from the sacrifice of peace-offering.	скажи синам Ізраїлевим: хто представляє мирну жертву свою Господу, той з мирної жертви частину повинен принести для приношення Господу;

His hands shall bring the burnt-offerings to the Lord; the fat which is on the breast and the lobe of the liver, he shall bring them, so as to set them for a gift before the Lord.	своїми руками повинен він принести в жертву Господу: жир із грудьми повинен він принести [і сальник на печінці], потрясаючи грудьми перед лицем Господнім;

And the priest shall offer the fat upon the altar, and the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons,	жир спалить священик на жертовнику, а груди належать Ааронові й синам його;

and assemble the whole congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness.	і збери всю громаду при вході до скинії зібрання.

And Moses did as the Lord appointed him, and he assembled the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness.	Мойсей зробив так, як повелів йому Господь, і зібралася громада при вході у скинію зібрання.

and put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the tunic, and put on him the ephod;	і поклав на нього хітон, і оперезав його поясом, і вдягнув на нього верхню ризу, і поклав на нього ефод, і оперезав його поясом ефода і прикріпив ним ефод на ньому,

and girded him with a girdle according to the make of the ephod, and clasped him closely with it: and put upon it the oracle, and put upon the oracle the Manifestation and the Truth.	і поклав на нього наперсник, і на наперсник поклав урим і тумим,

and sprinkled of it seven times on the altar; and anointed the altar, and hallowed it, and all things on it, and the laver, and its foot, and sanctified them; and anointed the tabernacle and all its furniture, and hallowed it.	і покропив ним жертовник сім разів, і помазав жертовник й усе приладдя його й умивальник і підніжжя його, щоб освятити їх;

And Moses poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron; and he anointed him and sanctified him.	і полив [Мойсей] єлей помазання на голову Аарона і помазав його, щоб освятити його.

And Moses brought the sons of Aaron near, and put on them coats and girded them with girdles, and put on them bonnets, as the Lord commanded Moses.	І привів Мойсей синів Ааронових, і вдяг їх у хітони, і оперезав їх поясом, і поклав на них кидари, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві.

And Moses brought near the calf for the sin-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the calf of the sin-offering.	І привів [Мойсей] тельця для жертви за гріх, і Аарон та сини його поклали руки свої на голову тельця за гріх;

And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger; and he purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement upon it.	і заколов його [Мойсей] і взяв крови, і перстом своїм поклав на роги жертовника з усіх боків, і очистив жертовник, а решту крови вилив до підніжжя жертовника, і освятив його, щоб зробити його чистим.

And Moses took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the lobe on the liver, and both the kidneys, and the fat that was upon them, and Moses offered them on the altar.	І взяв [Мойсей] весь жир, який на нутрощах, і сальник на печінці, і обидві нирки і жир їх, і спалив Мойсей на жертовнику;

But the calf, and his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses.	а тельця і шкуру його, і м’ясо його, і нечистоту його спалив на вогні поза станом, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві.

And Moses brought near the ram for a whole-burnt-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. And Moses slew the ram: and Moses poured the blood on the altar round about.	І привів [Мойсей] барана для всепалення, і поклали Аарон та сини його руки свої на голову барана;

And he divided the ram by its limbs, and Moses offered the head, and the limbs, and the fat; and he washed the belly and the feet with water.	і заколов його Мойсей і покропив кров’ю жертовник з усіх боків;

And Moses offered up the whole ram on the altar: it is a whole-burnt-offering for a sweet-smelling savour; it is a burnt-offering to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.	і розсік барана на частини, і спалив Мойсей голову і частини і жир,

And Moses brought the second ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, and he slew him;	а нутрощі і ноги обмив водою, і спалив Мойсей усього барана на жертовнику: це всепалення для приємних пахощів, це жертва Господу, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві.

and Moses took of his blood, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.	І привів [Мойсей] іншого барана, барана освячення, і поклали Аарон та сини його руки свої на голову барана;

And Moses brought near the sons of Aaron; and Moses put of the blood on the tips of their right ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the great toes of their right feet, and Moses poured out the blood on the altar round about.	і заколов його Мойсей, і взяв крови його, і поклав на край правого вуха Ааронового і на великий палець правої руки його і на великий палець правої ноги його.

And he took the fat, and the rump, and the fat on the belly, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder.	І привів Мойсей синів Ааронових, і поклав крови на край правого вуха їх і на великий палець правої руки їх і на великий палець правої ноги їх, і покропив Мойсей кров’ю жертовник з усіх боків.

And from the basket of consecration, which was before the Lord, he also took one unleavened loaf, and one loaf made with oil, and one cake; and put them upon the fat, and the right shoulder:	І взяв [Мойсей] жир і курдюк і весь жир, який на нутрощах, і сальник на печінці, і обидві нирки і жир їх і праве плече;

and put them all on the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and offered them up for a wave-offering before the Lord.	і з кошика з опрісноками, що перед Господом, взяв один опріснок і один хліб з єлеєм і один корж, і поклав на жир і на праве плече;

And Moses took them at their hands, and Moses offered them on the altar, on the whole-burnt-offering of consecration, which is a smell of sweet savour: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord.	і поклав усе це на руки Аарону і на руки синам його, і приніс це, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім;

And Moses took the breast, and separated it for a heave-offering before the Lord, from the ram of consecration; and it became Moses' portion, as the Lord commanded Moses.	і взяв це Мойсей з рук їхніх і спалив на жертовнику з усепаленням: це жертва посвячення для приємних пахощів, це жертва Господу.

And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood that was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, and on his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.	І взяв Мойсей груди і приніс їх, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім: це була частка Мойсеєва від барана посвячення, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві.

And he sanctified Aaron and his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.	І взяв Мойсей єлею помазання і крови, що на жертовнику, і покропив Аарона й одяг його, і синів його й одяг синів його з ним; і так освятив Аарона й одежу його, і синів його й одежу синів його з ним.

And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh in the tent of the tabernacle of witness in the holy place; and there ye shall eat it and the loaves in the basket of consecration, as it has been appointed me, the Lord saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat them.	І сказав Мойсей Аарону і синам його: зваріть м’ясо при вході у скинію зібрання і там їжте його з хлібом, що у кошику посвячення, як мені повелено і сказано: Аарон і сини його повинні їсти його;

And that which is left of the flesh and of the loaves burn ye with fire.	а залишки м’яса і хліба спаліть на вогні.

And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of witness for seven days, until the day be fulfilled, the day of your consecration; for in seven days shall he consecrate you,	Сім днів не відходьте від дверей скинії зібрання, доки не виповняться дні посвячення вашого, тому що сім днів повинно відбуватися посвячення ваше;

as he did in this day on which the Lord commanded me to do so, to make an atonement for you.	як сьогодні було зроблено, так повелів Господь робити для очищення вас;

And ye shall remain seven days at the door of the tabernacle of witness, day and night; ye shall observe the ordinances of the Lord, that ye die not; for so has the Lord God commanded me.	при вході у скинію зібрання будьте день і ніч упродовж семи днів і будьте на сторожі у Господа, щоб не вмерти, тому що так мені повелено [від Господа Бога].

And Aaron and his sons performed all these commands which the Lord commanded Moses.	І виконав Аарон і сини його все, що повелів Господь через Мойсея.

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel,	У восьмий день покликав Мойсей Аарона і синів його і старійшин Ізраїлевих

and Moses said to Aaron, Take to thyself a young calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a whole-burnt-offering, unblemished, and offer them before the Lord.	і сказав Аарону: візьми собі з волів тельця в жертву за гріх і барана у всепалення, обох без вад, і представ перед лице Господнє;

And speak to the elders of Israel, saying, Take one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a young calf, and a lamb of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering, spotless,	і синам Ізраїлевим скажи: візьміть козла в жертву за гріх, [і барана,] і тельця, і агнця, однолітніх, без вад, у всепалення,

and a calf and a ram for a peace offering before the Lord, and fine flour mingled with oil, for to-day the Lord will appear among you.	і вола й барана в жертву мирну, щоб звершити жертвоприношення перед лицем Господнім, і приношення хлібне, змішане з єлеєм, тому що сьогодні Господь явиться вам.

And they took as Moses commanded them before the tabernacle of witness, and all the congregation drew nigh, and they stood before the Lord.	І принесли те, що наказав Мойсей, перед скинію зібрання, і прийшла вся громада і стала перед лицем Господнім.

And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord has spoken; do it, and the glory of the Lord shall appear among you.	І сказав Мойсей: ось що повелів Господь зробити, і явиться вам слава Господня.

And Moses said to Aaron, Draw nigh to the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy whole-burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for thy house; and offer the gifts of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded Moses.	І сказав Мойсей Аарону: приступи до жертовника і зверши жертву твою за гріх і всепалення твоє, й очисти себе і народ, і зроби приношення від народу, й очисти їх, як повелів Господь.

And Aaron drew nigh to the altar, and slew the calf of his sin-offering.	І приступив Аарон до жертовника і заколов тельця, який за нього, у жертву за гріх:

And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and he poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.	сини Ааронові піднесли йому кров, і він омочив перст свій у крові і поклав на роги жертовника, а решту крови вилив до підніжжя жертовника,

And he offered up on the altar the fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver of the sin-offering, according as the Lord commanded Moses.	а жир і нирки і сальник на печінці від жертви за гріх спалив на жертовнику, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві;

And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire outside of the camp.	м’ясо ж і шкуру спалив на вогні поза станом.

And he slew the whole-burnt-offering; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it on the altar round about.	І заколов всепалення, і сини Ааронові піднесли йому кров; він покропив нею жертовник з усіх боків;

And they brought the whole-burnt-offering, according to its pieces; them and the head he put upon the altar.	і принесли йому всепалення у шматках і голову, і він спалив на жертовнику,
14	14
And he washed the belly and the feet with water, and he put them on the whole-burnt-offering on the altar.	а нутрощі і ноги вимив і спалив з усепаленням на жертовнику.
15	15
And he brought the gift of the people, and took the goat of the sin-offering of the people, and slew it, and purified it as also the first.	І приніс приношення від народу, і взяв від народу козла за гріх, і заколов його, і приніс його в жертву за гріх, як і попереднього.

And he brought the whole-burnt-offering, and offered it in due form.	І приніс всепалення і зробив його за уставом.

And he brought the sacrifice and filled his hands with it, and laid it on the altar, besides the morning whole-burnt-offering.	І приніс приношення хлібне, і наповнив ним руки свої, і спалив на жертовнику зверх ранкового всепалення.

And he slew the calf, and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering of the people; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it out on the altar round about.	І заколов вола й барана, які від народу, у жертву мирну; і сини Ааронові піднесли йому кров, і він покропив нею жертовник з усіх боків;

And he took the fat of the calf, and the hind quarters of the ram, and the fat covering the belly, and the two kidneys, and the fat upon them, and the caul on the liver.	піднесли і жир з вола, і з барана курдюк, і [жир], що покриває [нутрощі], нирки і сальник на печінці,

And he put the fat on the breasts, and offered the fat on the altar.	і поклали жир на груди, і він спалив жир на жертовнику;

And Aaron separated the breast and the right shoulder as a choice-offering before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.	груди ж і праве плече приніс Аарон, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім, як повелів Мойсей.

And Aaron lifted up his hands on the people and blessed them; and after he had offered the sin-offering, and the whole-burnt-offerings, and the peace-offerings, he came down.	І підняв Аарон руки свої, звернувшись до народу, і благословив його, і зійшов, звершивши жертву за гріх, всепалення і жертву мирну.

And Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witness. And they came out and blessed all the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.	І ввійшли Мойсей і Аарон у скинію зібрання, і вийшли, і благословили народ. І явилася слава Господня всьому народові:

And fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured the offerings on the altar, both the whole-burnt-offerings and the fat; and all the people saw, and were amazed, and fell upon their faces.	і вийшов вогонь від Господа і спалив на жертовнику всепалення і жир; і бачив весь народ, і викликнув з радости, й упав на лице своє.
Chapter 10	Глава 10

And the two sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abiud, took each his censer, and put fire therein, and threw incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which the Lord did not command them,	Надав і Авиуд, сини Ааронові, узяли кожен свою кадильницю, і поклали в них вогню, і вклали в нього куріння, і принесли перед Господом вогонь чужий, якого Він не велів їм;

and fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.	і вийшов вогонь від Господа і спалив їх, і померли вони перед лицем Господнім.

And Moses said to Aaron, This is the thing which the Lord spoke, saying, I will be sanctified among them that draw nigh to me, and I will be glorified in the whole congregation; and Aaron was pricked in his heart.	І сказав Мойсей Аарону: ось про що говорив Господь, коли сказав: у тих, хто наближається до Мене, освячусь і перед усім народом прославлюсь. Аарон мовчав.

And Moses called Misadaë, and Elisaphan, sons of Oziel, sons of the brother of Aaron's father, and said to them, Draw near and take your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.	І покликав Мойсей Мисаїла й Елцафана, синів Узиїла, дядька Ааронового, і сказав їм: підіть, винесіть братів ваших зі святилища за стан.

And they came near and took them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses said.	І пішли і винесли їх у хітонах їхніх за стан, як сказав Мойсей.

And Moses said to Aaron, and Eleazar and Ithamar his sons that were left, Ye shall not make bare your heads, and ye shall not tear your garments; that ye die not, and so there should be wrath on all the congregation: but your brethren, even all the house of Israel, shall lament for the burning, with which they were burnt by the Lord.	Аарону ж і Єлеазару й Іфамару, синам його, Мойсей сказав: голів ваших не оголюйте й одягу вашого не роздирайте, щоб вам не померти і не навести гніву на всю громаду; але брати ваші, весь дім Ізраїлів, можуть плакати за спаленими, яких спалив Господь,

And ye shall not go forth from the door of the tabernacle of witness, that ye die not; for the Lord's anointing oil is upon you: and they did according to the word of Moses.	і з дверей скинії зібрання не виходьте, щоб не померти вам, тому що на вас єлей помазання Господнього. І зробили за словом Мойсея.

And the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying,	І сказав Господь Аарону, говорячи:

Ye shall not drink wine nor strong drink, thou and thy sons with thee, whensoever ye enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when ye approach the altar, so shall ye not die; it is a perpetual statute for your generations,	вина і міцних напоїв не пий ти і сини твої з тобою, коли входите в скинію зібрання, [або приступаєте до жертовника,] щоб не померти. Це вічна постанова в роди ваші,

to distinguish between sacred and profane, and between clean and unclean,	щоб ви могли відрізняти священне від несвященного і нечисте від чистого,

and to teach the children of Israel all the statutes, which the Lord spoke to them by Moses.	і навчати синів Ізраїлевих усіх уставів, про які говорив їм Господь через Мойсея.

And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who survived, Take the sacrifice that is left of the burnt-offerings of the Lord, and ye shall eat unleavened bread by the altar: it is most holy.	І сказав Мойсей Аарону та Єлеазару й Іфамару, які залишилися з синів його: візьміть приношення хлібне, що залишилося від жертв Господніх, і їжте його прісним біля жертовника, бо це велика святиня;

And ye shall eat it in the holy place; for this is a statute for thee and a statute for thy sons, of the burnt-offerings to the Lord; for so it has been commanded me.	і їжте його на святому місці, бо це частка твоя і частка синів твоїх від жертв Господніх: так мені наказано [від Господа];

And ye shall eat the breast of separation, and the shoulder of the choice-offering in the holy place, thou and thy sons and thy house with thee; for it has been given as an ordinance for thee and an ordinance for thy sons, of the sacrifices of peace-offering of the children of Israel.	і груди потрясіння і плече підношення їжте на чистому місці, ти і сини твої і дочки твої з тобою, тому що це дано в частку тобі й у частку синам твоїм з мирних жертв синів Ізраїлевих;

They shall bring the shoulder of the choice-offering, and the breast of the separation upon the burnt-offerings of the fat, to separate for a separation before the Lord; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for thee and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, as the Lord commanded Moses.	плече підношення і груди потрясання повинні вони приносити з жертвами жиру, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім, і нехай буде це вічною часткою тобі і синам твоїм [і дочкам твоїм] з тобою, як повелів Господь [Мойсеєві].

And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin-offering, but it had been consumed by fire; and Moses was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron that were left, saying,	І козла жертви за гріхи шукав Мойсей, і ось, він спалений. І розгнівався [Мойсей] на Єлеазара й Іфамара, які залишилися з синів Ааронових, і сказав:

Why did ye not eat the sin-offering in the holy place? for because it is most holy he has given you this to eat, that ye might take away the sin of the congregation, and make atonement for them before the Lord.	чому ви не їли жертви за гріх на святому місці? бо вона святиня велика, і вона дана вам, щоб знімати гріхи з громади й очищати їх перед Господом;

For the blood of it was not brought into the holy place: ye shall eat it within, before the Lord, as the Lord commanded me.	ось, кров її не внесена всередину святилища, а ви повинні були їсти її на святому місці, як повелено мені.

And Aaron spoke to Moses, saying, If they have brought nigh to-day their sin-offerings, and their whole-burnt-offerings before the Lord, and these events have happened to me, and yet I should eat to-day of the sin-offerings, would it be pleasing to the Lord?	Аарон сказав Мойсеєві: ось, сьогодні принесли вони жертву свою за гріх і всепалення своє перед Господом, і це трапилось зі мною; якщо я сьогодні з’їм жертву за гріх, чи буде це вгодно Господу?

And Moses heard it, and it pleased him.	І почув Мойсей і схвалив.

And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві й Ааронові, говорячи їм:

Speak ye to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat of all beasts that are upon the earth.	скажіть синам Ізраїлевим: ось тварини, що їх можна вам їсти з усієї худоби на землі:

Every beast parting the hoof and making divisions of two claws, and chewing the cud among beasts, these ye shall eat.	усяку худобу, у якої роздвоєні копита і на копитах глибокий розріз, і яка жує жуйку, їжте;

But of these ye shall not eat, of those that chew the cud, and of those that part the hoofs, and divide claws; the camel, because it chews the cud, but does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you.	тільки цих не їжте з тих, що жують жуйку і що мають роздвоєні копита: верблюда, тому що він жує жуйку, але копита в нього не роздвоєні, нечистий він для вас;

And the rabbit, because it chews the cud, but does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you.	і тушканчика, тому що він жує жуйку, але копита в нього не роздвоєні, нечистий він для вас,

And the hare, because it does not chew the cud, and does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you.	і зайця, тому що він жує жуйку, але копита в нього не роздвоєні, нечистий він для вас;

And the swine, because this animal divides the hoof, and makes claws of the hoof, and it does not chew the cud, is unclean to you.	і свині, тому що копита в неї роздвоєні і на копитах розріз глибокий, але вона не жує жуйки, нечиста вона для вас;

Ye shall not eat of their flesh, and ye shall not touch their carcases; these are unclean to you.	м’яса їх не їжте і до трупів їх не доторкайтеся; нечисті вони для вас.

And these are what ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all things that have fins and scales in the waters, and in the seas, and in the brooks, these ye shall eat.	З усіх тварин, які у воді, їжте цих: у яких є пір’я і луска у воді, чи у морях, або ріках, тих їжте;

And all things which have not fins or scales in the water, or in the seas, and in the brooks, of all which the waters produce, and of every soul living in the water, are an abomination; and they shall be abominations to you.	а всі ті, у яких немає пір’я і луски, чи у морях, або ріках, із усіх, що плавають у водах і з усього, що живе у водах, нечисте для вас;

And the vulture, and the kite, and the like to it;	шуліку і сокола з породою його,

And all winged creatures that creep, which go upon four feet, are abominations to you.	Усі тварини, що плазують, крилаті, що ходять на чотирьох ногах, нечисті для нас;

But these ye shall eat of the creeping winged animals, which go upon four feet, which have legs above their feet, to leap with on the earth.	з усіх плазунів, крилатих, що ходять на чотирьох ногах, тих тільки їжте, у яких є гомілки вище ніг, щоб скакати ними по землі;

And whichever among the beasts divides the hoof and makes claws, and does not chew the cud, shall be unclean to you; every one that touches their dead bodies shall be unclean till evening. And on whatsoever one of their dead bodies shall fall it shall be unclean; whatever wooden vessel, or garment, or skin, or sack it may be, every vessel in which work should be done, shall be dipped in water, and shall be unclean till evening; and then it shall be clean. And all food that is eaten, on which water shall come from such a vessel, shall be unclean; and every beverage which is drunk in any such vessel, shall be unclean. But if the scurf remain before him in its place, and a dark hair should have arisen in it, the scurf is healed: he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean. And the priest shall sacrifice the sin-offering, and the priest shall make atonement for the person under purification to cleanse him from his sin, and afterwards the priest shall slay the whole-burnt-offering. And the priest shall give orders to remove the furniture of the house, before the priest comes in to see the plague, and thus none of the things in the house shall become unclean; and afterwards the priest shall go in to examine the house. And this is the law of his uncleanness; whoever has a gonorrhœa out of his body, this is his uncleanness in him by reason of the issue, by which his body is affected through the issue: all the days of the issue of his body, by which his body is affected through the issue, there is his uncleanness. And if he that has the issue should be cleansed of his issue, then shall he number to himself seven days for his purification; and he shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and shall be clean. And the man whose seed of copulation shall happen to go forth from him, shall then wash his whole body, and shall be unclean until evening.	Якщо в кого трапиться виливання сімені, то він повинен омити водою все тіло своє, і нечистий буде до вечора;

And the Lord said to Moses, Speak to Aaron thy brother, and let him not come in at all times into the holy place within the veil before the propitiatory, which is upon the ark of the testimony, and he shall not die; for I will appear in a cloud on the propitiatory.	і сказав Господь Мойсеєві: скажи Аарону, братові твоєму, щоб він не в усякий час входив у святилище за завісу перед кришку [очистилище], що на ковчезі [одкровення], щоб йому не померти, бо над кришкою Я буду являтися у хмарі.

And he shall take of the blood of the calf, and sprinkle with his finger on the mercy-seat eastward: before the mercy-seat shall he sprinkle seven times of the blood with his finger.	і візьме крови тельця і покропить перстом своїм кришку спереду і перед кришкою, сім разів покропить кров’ю з перста свого.

And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of witness, when he goes in to make atonement in the holy place, until he shall have come out; and he shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and for all the congregation of the children of Israel. And the goat shall bear their unrighteousnesses upon him into a desert land; and Aaron shall send away the goat into the wilderness.	і понесе козел на собі всі беззаконня їхні у землю непрохідну, і пустить він козла в пустелю.

And Aaron shall enter into the tabernacle of witness, and shall put off the linen garment, which he had put on, as he entered into the holy place, and shall lay it by there.	І ввійде Аарон у скинію зібрання і зніме лляний одяг, який одягав, входячи у святилище, і залишить його там,

The priest whomsoever they shall anoint shall make atonement, and whomsoever they shall consecrate to exercise the priestly office after his father; and he shall put on the linen robe, the holy garment. Every man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers abiding among you, who shall kill a calf, or a sheep, or a goat in the camp, or who shall kill it out of the camp,	якщо хто з дому Ізраїлевого [або з прибульців, що приєдналися до вас] заколе тельця або вівцю чи козу в стані, або якщо хто заколе поза станом

and shall not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of witness, so as to sacrifice it for a whole-burnt-offering or peace-offering to the Lord to be acceptable for a sweet-smelling savour: and whosoever shall slay it without, and shall not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of witness, so as to offer it as a gift to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord; blood shall be imputed to that man, he has shed blood; that soul shall be cut off from his people.	і не приведе до входу скинії зібрання, [щоб принести у всепалення або в жертву за спасіння, угодну Господу, у приємні пахощі, і якщо хто заколе поза станом і до входу в скинію зібрання не принесе,] щоб представити в жертву Господу перед оселею Господньою, то людині тій буде поставлена кров: він пролив кров, і знищиться людина та з народу свого;

That the children of Israel may offer their sacrifices, all that they shall slay in the fields, and bring them to the Lord unto the doors of the tabernacle of witness to the priest, and they shall sacrifice them as a peace-offering to the Lord.	це для того, щоб приводили сини Ізраїлеві жертви свої, які вони заколюють на полі, щоб приводили їх перед Господом до входу в скинію зібрання, до священика, і заколювали їх Господу в жертви мирні;

And the priest shall pour the blood on the altar round about before the Lord by the doors of the tabernacle of witness, and shall offer the fat for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord.	і покропить священик кров’ю жертовник Господній при вході у скинію зібрання і спалить жир у приємні пахощі Господу,

And whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers abiding among you, shall eat any blood, I will even set my face against that soul that eats blood, and will destroy it from its people. And whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers abiding among you shall take any animal in hunting, beast, or bird, which is eaten, then shall he pour out the blood, and cover it in the dust. And every soul which eats that which has died of itself, or is taken of beasts, either among the natives or among the strangers, shall wash his garments, and bathe himself in water, and shall be unclean until evening: then shall he be clean. Chapter 18	Глава 18

Ye shall not do according to the devices of Egypt, in which ye dwelt: and according to the devices of the land of Chanaan, into which I bring you, ye shall not do; and ye shall not walk in their ordinances.	За ділами землі Єгипетської, у якій ви жили, не чиніть, і за ділами землі Ханаанської, у яку Я веду вас, не чиніть, і за встановленнями їх не ходіть:

Ye shall observe my judgments, and shall keep my ordinances, and shall walk in them: I am the Lord your God.	Мої закони виконуйте і Моїх постанов дотримуйтеся, чинячи за ними. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter, shalt thou not take, to uncover their nakedness, for they are thy kinswomen: it is impiety. (for all these abominations the men of the land did who were before you, and the land was defiled,)	тому що всі ці мерзоти робили люди цієї землі, що перед вами, і опоганилася земля;

and lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you.	щоб і вас не звергла із себе земля, коли ви станете опоганювати її, як вона звергла народи, що були раніше вас;

And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I am the Lord your God. Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy.	оголоси всій громаді синів Ізраїлевих і скажи їм: будьте святими, бо святий Я Господь, Бог ваш.

Let every one of you reverence his father and his mother; and ye shall keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.	Бійтеся кожен матері своєї і батька свого і суботи Мої зберігайте. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

Ye shall not follow idols, and ye shall not make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.	Не звертайтеся до ідолів і богів відлитих не робіть собі. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

And if ye will sacrifice a peace-offering to the Lord, ye shall offer it acceptable from yourselves.	Коли будете приносити Господу жертву мирну, то приносьте її, щоб придбати собі благовоління:

In what day soever ye shall sacrifice it, it shall be eaten; and on the following day, and if any of it should be left till the third day, it shall be thoroughly burnt with fire.	у день жертвоприношення вашого і на другий день слід з’їсти її, а те, що залишилося до третього дня, треба спалити на вогні;

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, ye shall not complete the reaping of your field with exactness, and thou shalt not gather that which falls from thy reaping.	Коли будете жати жнива на землі вашій, не дожинай до краю поля твого, і залишків від жнив твоїх не підбирай,

And thou shalt not go over the gathering of thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather the remaining grapes of thy vineyard: thou shalt leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.	і виноградника твого не оббирай дочиста, і ягід, що попа́дали у винограднику, не підбирай; залиш це бідному і прибульцеві. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

Ye shall not steal, ye shall not lie, neither shall one bear false witness as an informer against his neighbour.	Не крадіть, не говоріть неправди і не обманюйте одне одного.

And ye shall not swear unjustly by my name, and ye shall not profane the holy name of your God: I am the Lord your God.	Не клянись ім’ям Моїм у неправді, і не знечещуй імені Бога твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш].

Thou shalt not injure thy neighbour, neither do thou rob him, neither shall the wages of thy hireling remain with thee until the morning.	Не кривди ближнього твого і не грабуй. Плата найманцеві не повинна залишатися в тебе до ранку.

Thou shalt not revile the deaf, neither shalt thou put a stumbling-block in the way of the blind; and thou shalt fear the Lord thy God: I am the Lord your God.	Не лихослов глухого і перед сліпим не клади нічого, щоб не спіткнувся він; бійся [Господа] Бога твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш].

Thou shalt not act unjustly in judgment: thou shalt not accept the person of the poor, nor admire the person of the mighty; with justice shalt thou judge thy neighbour.	Не чиніть неправди на суді; не будь упереджений до жебрака і не догоджай лицю великого; за правдою суди ближнього твого.

Thou shalt not walk deceitfully among thy people; thou shalt not rise up against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the Lord your God.	Не ходи пліткарем у народі твоєму і не повставай на життя ближнього твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш].

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, so thou shalt not bear sin on his account.	Не ворогуй на брата твого у серці твоєму; викрий ближнього твого, і не понесеш за нього гріха.

And thy hand shall not avenge thee; and thou shalt not be angry with the children of thy people; and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself; I am the Lord.	Не мстися і не май злоби на синів народу твого, але люби ближнього твого, як самого себе. Я Господь [Бог ваш].

Ye shall observe my law: thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with one of a different kind, and thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with diverse seed; and thou shalt not put upon thyself a mingled garment woven of two materials.	Уставів Моїх додержуйте; худоби твоєї не зводь з іншою породою; поля твого не засівай двома родами насіння; в одяг з різнорідних ниток, з вовни і льону, не одягайся.

And if any one lie carnally with a woman, and she should be a home-servant kept for a man, and she has not been ransomed, and her freedom has not been given to her, they shall be visited with punishment; but they shall not die, because she was not set at liberty. And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, before the Lord, for the sin which he sinned; and the sin which he sinned shall be forgiven him.	і очистить його священик бараном за провину перед Господом від гріха, яким він згрішив, і прощений буде йому гріх, яким він згрішив.

And whenever ye shall enter into the land which the Lord your God gives you, and shall plant any fruit-tree, then shall ye purge away its uncleanness; its fruit shall be three years uncleansed to you, it shall not be eaten. Thou shalt not profane thy daughter to prostitute her; so the land shall not go a whoring, and the land be filled with iniquity.	Не оскверняй дочки твоєї, допускаючи її до блуду, щоб не блудодіяла земля і не наповнилася земля розпустою.

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord.	Суботи Мої зберігайте і святилище Моє шануйте. Я Господь.

Ye shall not attend to those who have in them divining spirits, nor attach yourselves to enchanters, to pollute yourselves with them: I am the Lord your God.	Не звертайтеся до тих, хто викликає мертвих, і до чарівників не ходіть, і не доводьте себе до опоганення від них. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

And if there should come to you a stranger in your land, ye shall not afflict him.	Коли оселиться прибулець у землі вашій, не пригноблюйте його:

The stranger that comes to you shall be among you as the native, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.	прибулець, який оселився у вас, нехай буде для вас те саме, що тубілець ваш; люби його, як себе; тому що і ви були прибульцями в землі Єгипетській. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

Ye shall not act unrighteously in judgment, in measures and weights and scales.	Не чиніть неправди в суді, у мірі, у вазі й у вимірі:

There shall be among you just balances and just weights and a just liquid measure. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.	нехай будуть у вас терези правильні, гирі правильні, ефа правильна і гин правильний. Я Господь, Бог ваш, Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської.

Chapter 20	Глава 20

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Thou shalt also say to the children of Israel, If there shall be any of the children of Israel, or of those who have become proselytes in Israel, who shall give of his seed to Moloch, let him be surely put to death; the nation upon the land shall stone him with stones.	скажи це синам Ізраїлевим: хто із синів Ізраїлевих і з прибульців, що живуть між ізраїльтянами, дасть дітей своїх Молоху, той нехай буде відданий на смерть: народ землі нехай поб’є його камінням;

And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given of his seed to Moloch, to defile my sanctuary, and profane the name of them that are consecrated to me.	і Я зверну лице Моє на людину ту і знищу її з народу її за те, що вона дала дітей своїх Молохові, щоб осквернити святилище Моє і зганьбити святе ім’я Моє;

And if the natives of the land should in anywise overlook that man in giving of his seed to Moloch, so as not to put him to death;	і якщо народ землі не зверне очей своїх на людину ту, коли вона дасть дітей своїх Молохові, і не умертвить її,

then will I set my face against that man and his family, and I will destroy him, and all who have been of one mind with him, so that he should go a whoring to the princes, from their people.	то Я зверну лице Моє на людину ту і на рід її і винищу його з народу його, і всіх, хто блудить слідами її, щоб ходити блудно услід Молохові.

And the soul that shall follow those who have in them divining spirits, or enchanters, so as to go a whoring after them; I will set my face against that soul, and will destroy it from among its people.	І якщо яка душа звернеться до тих, хто викликає мертвих і до чаклунів, щоб блудно ходити услід їм, то Я зверну лице Моє на ту душу і знищу її з народу її.

And ye shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.	Освячуйте себе і будьте святими, бо Я Господь, Бог ваш, [святий].

And ye shall observe my ordinances, and do them: I am the Lord that sanctifies you.	Дотримуйтеся постанов Моїх і виконуйте їх, бо Я Господь, що освячує вас.

Every man who shall speak evil of his father or of his mother, let him die the death; has he spoken evil of his father or his mother? he shall be guilty.	Хто буде лихословити батька свого або матір свою, той нехай буде відданий на смерть; батька свого і матір свою він лихословив: кров його на ньому.

Whatever man shall commit adultery with the wife of a man, or whoever shall commit adultery with the wife of his neighbour, let them die the death, the adulterer and the adulteress.	Якщо хто буде перелюбствувати з жінкою одруженою, якщо хто буде перелюбствувати з дружиною ближнього свого, — нехай будуть віддані на смерть і перелюбник і перелюбниця.

And if any one should lie with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness: let them both die the death, they are guilty.	Хто ляже з дружиною батька свого, той відкрив наготу батька свого: обоє вони нехай будуть віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них.

And if any one should lie with his daughter-in-law, let them both be put to death; for they have wrought impiety, they are guilty.	Якщо хто ляже з невісткою своєю, то обоє вони нехай будуть віддані на смерть: мерзотність зробили вони, кров їхня на них.

And whoever shall lie with a male as with a woman, they have both wrought abomination; let them die the death, they are guilty.	Якщо хто ляже з чоловіком, як з жінкою, то обоє вони зробили мерзотність: нехай будуть віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них.

Whosoever shall take a woman and her mother, it is iniquity: they shall burn him and them with fire; so there shall not be iniquity among you.	Якщо хто візьме собі дружину і матір її: це беззаконня; на вогні слід спалити його і їх, щоб не було беззаконня між вами.

And whosoever shall lie with a beast, let him die the death; and ye shall kill the beast.	Хто змішається з худобою, того віддати на смерть, і худобу вбийте.

And whatever woman shall approach any beast, so as to have connexion with it, ye shall kill the woman and the beast: let them die the death, they are guilty.	Якщо жінка піде до якої-небудь худоби, щоб злучитися з нею, то убий жінку і худобу: нехай будуть вони віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них.

Whosoever shall take his sister by his father or by his mother, and shall see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness, it is a reproach: they shall be destroyed before the children of their family; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness, they shall bear their sin.	Якщо хто візьме сестру свою, дочку батька свого або дочку матері своєї, і побачить наготу її, і вона побачить наготу його: це сором, нехай будуть вони знищені перед очима синів народу свого; він відкрив наготу сестри своєї: гріх свій понесе він.

And whatever man shall lie with a woman that is set apart for a flux, and shall uncover her nakedness, he has uncovered her fountain, and she has uncovered the flux of her blood: they shall both be destroyed from among their generation.	Якщо хто ляже з дружиною під час хвороби кровоочищення і відкриє наготу її, то він відкрив течу її, і вона відкрила течу крови своєї: обоє вони нехай будуть знищені з народу свого.

And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister, or of the sister of thy mother; for that man has uncovered the nakedness of one near akin: they shall bear their iniquity.	Наготи сестри матері твоєї і сестри батька твого не відкривай, бо такий оголює плоть свою: гріх свій понесуть вони.

Whosoever shall lie with his near kinswoman, has uncovered the nakedness of one near akin to him: they shall die childless.	Хто ляже з тіткою своєю, той відкрив наготу дядька свого; гріх свій понесуть вони, бездітними помруть.
21	21
Whoever shall take his brother's wife, it is uncleanness; he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall die childless.	Якщо хто візьме дружину брата свого: це огидно; він відкрив наготу брата свого, бездітними будуть вони.

And keep ye all my ordinances, and my judgments; and ye shall do them, and the land shall not be aggrieved with you, into which I bring you to dwell upon it.	Дотримуйтесь усіх уставів Моїх і всіх законів Моїх і виконуйте їх, — і не звергне вас із себе земля, в яку Я веду вас жити.

And walk ye not in the customs of the nations which I drive out from before you; for they have done all these things, and I have abhorred them:	Не чиніть за звичаями народу, який Я проганяю від вас; тому що вони все це робили, і Я обурився на них,

and I said to you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you for a possession, even a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, who have separated you from all people.	і сказав Я вам: ви володарюйте землею їхньою, і вам віддаю у спадщину землю, в якій тече молоко і мед. Я Господь, Бог ваш, Який відділив вас від усіх народів.

And ye shall make a distinction between the clean and the unclean cattle, and between clean and unclean birds; and ye shall not defile your souls with cattle, or with birds, or with any creeping things of the earth, which I have separated for you by reason of uncleanness.	Відрізняйте худобу чисту від нечистої і птаха чистого від нечистого і не оскверняйте душ ваших худобою і птахами і всім, що плазує по землі, що визначив Я, як нечисте.

And ye shall be holy to me; because I the Lord your God am holy, who separated you from all nations, to be mine.	Будьте переді Мною святі, бо Я святий Господь [Бог ваш], і Я відокремив вас від народів, щоб ви були Мої.

And as for a man or woman whosoever of them shall have in them a divining spirit, or be an enchanter, let them both die the death: ye shall stone them with stones, they are guilty. Chapter 21	Глава 21

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the priests the sons of Aaron, and thou shalt tell them that they shall not defile themselves in their nation for the dead,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві: оголоси священикам, синам Аароновим, і скажи їм: нехай не оскверняють себе дотиком до померлого з народу свого;

but they may mourn for a relative who is very near to them, for a father and mother, and sons and daughters, for a brother,	тільки до близького родича свого, до матері своєї і до батька свого, до сина свого і дочки своєї, до брата свого

and for a virgin sister that is near to one, that is not espoused to a man; for these one shall defile himself.	і до сестри своєї, дівчини, що живе при ньому і не була заміжня, можна йому доторкатися, не оскверняючи себе;
4	4
He shall not defile himself suddenly among his people to profane himself.	і доторканням до кого б то не було в народі своєму не повинен він оскверняти себе, щоб не стати нечистим.
5	5
And ye shall not shave your head for the dead with a baldness on the top; and they shall not shave their beard, neither shall they make gashes on their flesh.	Вони не повинні голити голови своєї і підстригати краї бороди своєї і робити нарізи на тілі своєму.

They shall be holy to their God, and they shall not profane the name of their God; for they offer the sacrifices of the Lord as the gifts of their God, and they shall be holy.	Вони повинні бути святими Богові своєму і не повинні нечестити імені Бога свого, тому що вони приносять жертви Господу, хліб Богу своєму, і тому повинні бути святими.

They shall not take a woman who is a harlot and profaned, or a woman put away from her husband; for he is holy to the Lord his God.	Вони не повинні брати за себе блудницю і знечещену, не повинні брати і жінку, вигнану чоловіком своїм, бо вони святі [Господу] Богу своєму.

And thou shalt hallow him; he offers the gifts of the Lord your God: he shall be holy, for I the Lord that sanctify them am holy.	Святи́ його, бо він приносить хліб [Господу] Богу твоєму: нехай буде він у тебе святим, бо святий Я Господь, Який освячує вас.

And if the daughter of a priest should be profaned to go a whoring, she profanes the name of her father: she shall be burnt with fire.	Якщо дочка священика осквернить себе блудодіянням, то вона нечестить батька свого; вогнем слід спалити її.

And the priest that is chief among his brethren, the oil having been poured upon the head of the anointed one, and he having been consecrated to put on the garments, shall not take the mitre off his head, and shall not rend his garments:	Великий же священик з братів своїх, на голову якого полито єлей помазання, і який освячений, щоб облачатися у священні одежі, не повинен оголювати голови своєї і роздирати одежі своєї;

neither shall he go in to any dead body, neither shall he defile himself for his father or his mother.	і ні до якого померлого не повинен він приступати: навіть дотиком до померлого батька свого і матері своєї він не повинен оскверняти себе.

And he shall not go forth out of the sanctuary, and he shall not profane the sanctuary of his God, because the holy anointing oil of God is upon him: I am the Lord.	І від святилища він не повинен відходити і нечестити святилище Бога свого, бо освячення єлеєм помазання Бога його на ньому. Я Господь.

He shall take for a wife a virgin of his own tribe.	За дружину він повинен брати дівчину [з народу свого];

But a widow, or one that is put away, or profaned, or a harlot, these he shall not take; but he shall take for a wife a virgin of his own people.	вдову, або вигнану, або знечещену, [або] блудницю, не повинен він брати, але дівчину з народу свого повинен він брати за дружину;

And he shall not profane his seed among his people: I am the Lord that sanctifies him.	він не повинен ганьбити сімені свого в народі своєму, бо Я Господь [Бог], що освячує його.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Say to Aaron, A man of thy tribe throughout your generations, who shall have a blemish on him, shall not draw nigh to offer the gifts of his God.	скажи Аарону: ніхто з сімені твого в усі роди їх, у якого на тілі буде вада, не повинен приступати, щоб приносити хліб Богу своєму;
18	18
No man who has a blemish on him shall draw nigh; a man lame, blind, with his nose disfigured, or his ears cut,	ніхто, у кого на тілі є вада, не повинен приступати, ні сліпий, ні кульгавий, ні потворний,
19	19
a man who has a broken hand or a broken foot,	ні такий, у якого переламана нога або переламана рука,
20	20
or hump-backed, or blear-eyed, or that has lost his eye-lashes, or a man who has a malignant ulcer, or tetter, or one that has lost a testicle.	ні горбатий, ні із сухим органом, ні з більмом на оці, ні коростявий, ні паршивий, ні з пошкодженими ядрами;

Only he shall not approach the veil, and he shall not draw nigh to the altar, because he has a blemish; and he shall not profane the sanctuary of his God, for I am the Lord that sanctifies them.	але до завіси не повинен він приходити і до жертовника не повинен приступати, тому що вада на ньому: не повинен він нечестити святилища Мого, бо Я Господь, що освячує їх.

And Moses spoke to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel.	І оголосив це Мойсей Аарону і синам його і всім синам Ізраїлевим.
Chapter 22	Глава 22

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and let them take heed concerning the holy things of the children of Israel, so they shall not profane my holy name in any of the things which they consecrate to me: I am the Lord.	скажи Аарону і синам його, щоб вони обережно поводилися зі святинями синів Ізраїлевих і не ганьбили святого імені Мого в тому, що вони посвячують Мені. Я Господь.

Say to them, Every man throughout your generations, whoever of all your seed shall approach to the holy things, whatsoever the children of Israel shall consecrate to the Lord, while his uncleanness is upon him, that soul shall be cut off from me: I am the Lord your God.	Скажи їм: якщо хто з усіх нащадків ваших в роди ваші, маючи на собі нечистоту, приступить до святинь, які посвячують сини Ізраїлеві Господу, то знищиться душа та від лиця Мого. Я Господь [Бог ваш].

And the man of the seed of Aaron the priest, if he should have leprosy or issue of the reins, shall not eat of the holy things, until he be cleansed; and he that touches any uncleanness of a dead body, or the man whose seed of copulation shall have gone out from him,	Хто із сімені Ааронового прокажений, або має течу, той не повинен їсти святинь, поки не очиститься; і хто доторкнеться до чого-небудь нечистого від мертвого, або в кого трапиться вилив сімені,

or whosoever shall touch any unclean reptile, which will defile him, or who shall touch a man, whereby he shall defile him according to all his uncleanness:	або хто доторкнеться до якого-небудь гада, від якого він стане нечистим, або до людини, від якої він стане нечистим якою б то не було нечистотою, —

whatsoever soul shall touch them shall be unclean until evening; he shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his body in water,	той, хто доторкнеться до цього, нечистий буде до вечора і не повинен їсти святинь, раніше ніж омиє тіло своє водою;

and the sun go down, and then he shall be clean; and then shall he eat of all the holy things, for they are his bread.	але коли зайде сонце і він очиститься, тоді може він їсти святині, бо це його їжа.

He shall not eat that which dies of itself, or is taken of beasts, so that he should be polluted by them: I am the Lord.	Мертвечини і роздертого звіром він не повинен їсти, щоб не осквернитися цим. Я Господь.

And they shall keep my ordinances, that they do not bear iniquity because of them, and die because of them, if they shall profane them: I am the Lord God that sanctifies them.	Нехай дотримуються вони повелінь Моїх, щоб не понести на собі гріха і не померти в ньому, коли порушать це. Я Господь [Бог], що освячує їх.

And no stranger shall eat the holy things: one that sojourns with a priest, or a hireling, shall not eat the holy things.	Ніхто сторонній не повинен їсти святині; хто оселився у священика і найманець не повинен їсти святині;

But if a priest should have a soul purchased for money, he shall eat of his bread; and they that are born in his house, they also shall eat of his bread.	якщо ж священик купить собі чоловіка за срібло, то цей може їсти її; також і домашні його можуть їсти хліб його.

And if the daughter of a priest should marry a stranger, she shall not eat of the offerings of the sanctuary.	Якщо дочка священика вийде заміж за стороннього, то вона не повинна їсти принесених святинь;

And if the daughter of a priest should be a widow, or put away, and have no seed, she shall return to her father's house, as in her youth: she shall eat of her father's bread, but no stranger shall eat of it.	коли ж дочка священика буде вдовою, або розведеною, і дітей немає в неї, і повернеться в дім батька свого, як була в молодості своїй, тоді вона може їсти хліб батька свого; а сторонній ніхто не повинен їсти його.

And the man who shall ignorantly eat holy things, shall add the fifth part to it, and give the holy thing to the priest.	Хто помилково з’їсть що-небудь зі святині, той повинен віддати священику святиню і докласти до неї п’яту її частку.

And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to the Lord.	Священики самі не повинні ганьбити святині синів Ізраїлевих, які вони приносять Господу,

So should they bring upon themselves the iniquity of trespass in their eating their holy things: for I am the Lord that sanctifies them.	і не повинні накликати на себе провину в злочині, коли будуть їсти святині свої, бо Я Господь, що освячує їх.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the congregation of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that abide among them in Israel, who shall offer his gifts according to all their confession and according to all their choice, whatsoever they may bring to the Lord for whole-burnt-offerings—	оголоси Аарону і синам його і всім синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: якщо хто з дому Ізраїлевого, або із прибульців, [що оселилися] між ізраїльтянами, чи за якоюсь обітницею, або з ревности приносить жертву свою, яку приносять Господу у всепалення,

your free-will-offerings shall be males without blemish of the herds, or of the sheep, or of the goats.	то, щоб цим придбати благовоління від Бога, жертва повинна бути без вад, чоловічої статі, з великої худоби, з овець і з кіз;

They shall not bring to the Lord anything that has a blemish in it, for it shall not be acceptable for you.	ніякої тварини, на якій є вада, не приносьте [Господу], бо це не придбає вам благовоління.

And whatsoever man shall offer a peace-offering to the Lord, discharging a vow, or in the way of free-will-offering, or an offering in your feasts, of the herds or of the sheep, it shall be without blemish for acceptance: there shall be no blemish in it.	І якщо хто приносить мирну жертву Господу, виконуючи обітницю, або з ревности, [або у свята ваші,] з великої худоби або з дрібної, то жертва повинна бути без вад, щоб бути угодною Богу: ніякої вади не повинно бути на ній;

One that is blind, or broken, or has its tongue cut out, or is troubled with warts, or has a malignant ulcer, or tetters, they shall not offer these to the Lord; neither shall ye offer any of them for a burnt-offering on the altar of the Lord.	тварини сліпої, або пошкодженої, або потворної, або хворої, або коростявої, або паршивої, таких не приносьте Господу і в жертву не давайте їх на жертовник Господній;

And a calf or a sheep with the ears cut off, or that has lost its tail, thou shalt slay them for thyself; but they shall not be accepted for thy vow.	тельця й агнця з кінцівками, надмірно довгими або короткими, у жертву ревности принести можеш; а якщо за обітницею, то це не угодно буде Богу;

That which has broken testicles, or is crushed or gelt or mutilated,—thou shalt not offer them to the Lord, neither shall ye sacrifice them upon your land.	тварину, у якої ядра розчавлені, розбиті, відірвані або вирізані, не приносьте Господу й у землі вашій не робіть цього,

Neither shall ye offer the gifts of your God of all these things by the hand of a stranger, because there is corruption in them, a blemish in them: these shall not be accepted for you.	і з рук іноземців не приносьте всіх таких тварин у дар Богу вашому, бо на них пошкодження, порок на них: не придбають вони вам благовоління.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

As for a calf, or a sheep, or a goat, whenever it is born, then shall it be seven days under its mother; and on the eighth day and after they shall be accepted for sacrifices, a burnt-offering to the Lord.	коли народиться теля, або ягня, або козеня, то сім днів воно має пробути при матері своїй, а від восьмого дня і далі буде благовгодне для приношення в жертву Господу;

And a bullock and a ewe, it and its young, thou shalt not kill in one day.	але ні корови, ні вівці не заколюйте в один день з породженням її.

And if thou shouldest offer a sacrifice, a vow of rejoicing to the Lord, ye shall offer it so as to be accepted for you.	Якщо приносите Господу жертву подяки, то приносьте її так, щоб вона придбала вам благовоління;

In that same day it shall be eaten; ye shall not leave of the flesh till the morrow: I am the Lord.	у той самий день слід з’їсти її, не залишайте від неї до ранку. Я Господь.

And ye shall keep my commandments and do them.	І дотримуйтеся заповідей Моїх і виконуйте їх. Я Господь.

And ye shall not profane the name of the Holy One, and I will be sanctified in the midst of the children of Israel. I am the Lord that sanctifies you,	Не ганьбіть святого імені Мого, щоб Я був святим серед синів Ізраїлевих. Я Господь, Який освячує вас,

who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord.	Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської, щоб бути вашим Богом. Я Господь.
Chapter 23	Глава 23

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

These are the feasts to the Lord, holy convocations, which ye shall call in their seasons.	Ось свята Господні, священні зібрання, які ви повинні скликати у свій час:

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evening times is the Lord's passover.	у перший місяць, у чотирнадцятий [день] місяця увечері Пасха Господня;

And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread.	і в п’ятнадцятий день того самого місяця свято опрісноків Господу; сім днів їжте опрісноки;

And the first day shall be a holy convocation to you: ye shall do no servile work.	у перший день нехай буде у вас священне зібрання; ніякої роботи не виконуйте;

And ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy convocation to you: ye shall do no servile work.	і протягом семи днів приносьте жертви Господу; у сьомий день також священне зібрання; ніякої роботи не виконуйте.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye shall enter into the land which I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall ye bring a sheaf, the first-fruits of your harvest, to the priest;	оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: коли прийдете в землю, яку Я даю вам, і будете жати на ній жнива, то принесіть перший сніп жнив ваших до священика;

and he shall lift up the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you. On the morrow of the first day the priest shall lift it up.	він піднесе цей сніп перед Господом, щоб вам придбати благовоління; на другий день свята піднесе його священик;

And ye shall offer on the day on which ye bring the sheaf, a lamb without blemish of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord.	і в день возношення снопа принесіть у всепалення Господу агнця однолітнього, без вад,

And its meat-offering two tenth portions of fine flour mingled with oil: it is a sacrifice to the Lord, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord, and its drink-offering the fourth part of a hin of wine.	і з ним хлібного приношення дві десятих частини ефи пшеничного борошна, змішаного з єлеєм, у жертву Господу, у приємні пахощі, й узливання до неї чверть гина вина;

And ye shall not eat bread, or the new parched corn, until this same day, until ye offer the sacrifices to your God: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.	ніякого нового хліба, ні сушених зерен, ні зерен сирих не їжте до того дня, в який принесете приношення Богу вашому: це вічна постанова в роди ваші у всіх оселях ваших.

And ye shall number to yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day on which ye shall offer the sheaf of the heave-offering, seven full weeks:	Відрахуйте собі від першого дня після свята, від того дня, у який приносите сніп потрясання, сім повних тижнів,

until the morrow after the last week ye shall number fifty days, and shall bring a new meat-offering to the Lord.	до першого дня після сьомого тижня відрахуйте п’ятдесят днів, і тоді принесіть нове хлібне приношення Господу:

Ye shall bring from your dwelling loaves, as a heave-offering, two loaves: they shall be of two tenth portions of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven of the first-fruits to the Lord.	від осель ваших приносьте два хліби возношення, які повинні складатися з двох десятих частин ефи пшеничного борошна і повинні бути спечені кислі, як перший плід Господу;

And ye shall bring with the loaves seven unblemished lambs of a year old, and one calf of the herd, and two rams without blemish, and they shall be a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord: and their meat-offerings and their drink-offerings shall be a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.	разом із хлібами представте сім агнців без вад, однолітніх, і з великої худоби одного тельця і двох баранів [без вад]; нехай буде це у всепалення Господу, і хлібне приношення й узливання до них, у жертву, у приємні пахощі Господу.

And they shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and two lambs of a year old for a peace-offering, with the loaves of the first-fruits.	Приготуйте також з отари кіз одного козла в жертву за гріх і двох однолітніх агнців у жертву мирну [разом із хлібом першого плоду];

And the priest shall place them with the loaves of the first-fruits an offering before the Lord with the two lambs, they shall be holy to the Lord; they shall belong to the priest that brings them.	священик повинен принести це, потрясаючи перед Господом, разом з хлібами потрясіння першого плоду і з двома агнцями, і це буде святинею Господу; священикові, [який приносить, це належить];

And ye shall call this day a convocation: it shall be holy to you; ye shall do no servile work on it: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations in all your habitations.	і скликайте народ у цей день, священне зібрання нехай буде у вас, ніякої роботи не виконуйте: це постанова вічна у всіх оселях ваших у роди ваші.

And when ye shall reap the harvest of your land, ye shall not fully reap the remainder of the harvest of your field when thou reapest, and thou shalt not gather that which falls from thy reaping; thou shalt leave it for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.	Коли будете жати жниво на землі вашій, не дожинай до краю поля твого, коли жнеш, і залишок від жаття твого не підбирай; бідному і прибульцеві залиш це. Я Господь, Бог ваш.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have a rest, a memorial of trumpets: it shall be to you a holy convocation.	скажи синам Ізраїлевим: у сьомий місяць, у перший [день] місяця нехай буде у вас спокій, свято труб, священне зібрання [нехай буде у вас];

Ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall offer a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord.	ніякої роботи не виконуйте і приносьте жертву Господу.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month is a day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall humble your souls, and offer a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord.	також у дев’ятий [день] сьомого місяця цього, день очищення, нехай буде у вас священне зібрання; смиряйте душі ваші і приносьте жертву Господу;

Ye shall do no work on this self-same day: for this is a day of atonement for you, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.	ніякої справи не робіть у день цей, бо це день очищення, щоб очистити вас перед лицем Господа, Бога вашого;

Every soul that shall not be humbled in that day, shall be cut off from among its people.	а всяка душа, що не смирить себе в цей день, знищиться з народу свого;

And every soul which shall do work on that day, that soul shall be destroyed from among its people.	і якщо яка душа буде робити яку-небудь справу в день цей, Я знищу ту душу з народу її;

Ye shall do no manner of work: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your habitations.	ніякої справи не робіть: ця постанова вічна в роди ваші, в усіх оселях ваших;

It shall be a holy sabbath to you; and ye shall humble your souls, from the ninth day of the month: from evening to evening ye shall keep your sabbaths.	це для вас субота спокою, і смиряйте душі ваші, з вечора дев’ятого [дня] місяця; від вечора до вечора [десятого дня місяця] святкуйте суботу вашу.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, there shall be a feast of tabernacles seven days to the Lord.	скажи синам Ізраїлевим: з п’ятнадцятого дня того самого сьомого місяця свято кущів, сім днів Господу;

And on the first day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.	у перший день священне зібрання, ніякої роботи не виконуйте;

Seven days shall ye offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord, and the eighth-day shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord: it is a time of release, ye shall do no servile work.	протягом семи днів приносьте жертву Господу; у восьмий день священне зібрання нехай буде у вас, і приносьте жертву Господу: це віддання свята, ніякої роботи не виконуйте.

These are the feasts to the Lord, which ye shall call holy convocations, to offer burnt-offerings to the Lord, whole-burnt-offerings and their meat-offerings, and their drink-offerings, that for each day on its day:	Ось свята Господні, в які слід скликати священне зібрання, щоб приносити у жертву Господу всепалення, хлібне приношення, заколені жертви й узливання, кожне у свій день,

And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month, when ye shall have completely gathered in the fruits of the earth, ye shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days; on the first day there shall be a rest, and on the eighth day a rest.	А в п’ятнадцятий день сьомого місяця, коли ви збираєте врожай землі, святкуйте свято Господнє сім днів: у перший день спокій і у восьмий день спокій;

And on the first day ye shall take goodly fruit of trees, and branches of palm trees, and thick boughs of trees, and willows, and branches of osiers from the brook, to rejoice before the Lord your God seven days in the year.	у перший день візьміть собі віття красивих дерев, віття пальмове і віття дерев широколистих і верб річкових, і веселіться перед Господом Богом вашим сім днів;

It is a perpetual statute for your generations: in the seventh month ye shall keep it.	і святкуйте це свято Господнє сім днів у році: це постанова вічна в роди ваші; у сьомий місяць святкуйте його;

Chapter 24	Глава 24

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Charge the children of Israel, and let them take for thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to burn a lamp continually,	накажи синам Ізраїлевим, щоб вони принесли тобі єлею чистого, вичавленого, для освітлення, щоб постійно горів світильник;

outside the veil in the tabernacle of witness; and Aaron and his sons shall burn it from evening until morning before the Lord continually, a perpetual statute throughout your generations.	ззовні завіси ковчега одкровення в скинії зібрання Аарон [і сини його] повинні ставити його перед Господом з вечора до ранку завжди: це вічна постанова в роди ваші;

Ye shall burn the lamps on the pure lamp-stand before the Lord till the morrow.	на свічнику чистому повинні вони ставити світильник перед Господом завжди.

And ye shall take fine flour, and make of it twelve loaves; each loaf shall be of two tenth parts.	І візьми пшеничного борошна і спечи з нього дванадцять хлібів; у кожному хлібі повинні бути дві десятих ефи;

And ye shall put them in two rows, each row containing six loaves, on the pure table before the Lord.	і поклади їх у два ряди, по шість у ряд, на чистому столі перед Господом;

And ye shall put on each row pure frankincense and salt; and these things shall be for loaves for a memorial, set forth before the Lord.	і поклади на [кожен] ряд чистого ливану [і соли], і буде це при хлібі, у пам’ять, у жертву Господу;

On the sabbath-day they shall be set forth before the Lord continually before the children of Israel, for an everlasting covenant.	у кожен день суботи постійно слід класти їх перед Господом від синів Ізраїлевих: це завіт вічний;

And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat them in the holy place: for this is their most holy portion of the offerings made to the Lord, a perpetual statute.	вони будуть належати Аарону і синам його, які будуть їсти їх на святому місці, бо це велика святиня для них із жертв Господніх: це постанова вічна.

And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, and he was son of an Egyptian man among the sons of Israel; and they fought in the camp, the son of the Israelitish woman, and a man who was an Israelite.	І вийшов син однієї ізраїльтянки, що народилася від єгиптянина, до синів Ізраїлевих, і посварився у стані син ізраїльтянки з ізраїльтянином;

And the son of the Israelitish woman named THE NAME and cursed; and they brought him to Moses: and his mother's name was Salomith, daughter of Dabri of the tribe of Dan.	хулив син ізраїльтянки ім’я [Господнє] і лихословив. And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord.	і посадили його під варту, доки не буде оголошена їм воля Господня.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Bring forth him that cursed outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him.	виведи того, хто лихословив, геть зі стану, і всі, хто чув, нехай покладуть руки свої на голову його, і вся громада поб’є його камінням;

And speak to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whosoever shall curse God shall bear his sin.	і синам Ізраїлевим скажи: хто буде лихословити Бога свого, той понесе гріх свій;

And he that names the name of the Lord, let him die the death: let all the congregation of Israel stone him with stones; whether he be a stranger or a native, let him die for naming the name of the Lord.	і хулитель ім’я Господнього повинен померти, камінням поб’є його вся громада: чи прибулець, чи тубілець стане хулити ім’я [Господнє], відданий буде на смерть.

And whosoever shall smite a man and he die, let him die the death.	Хто уб’є яку-небудь людину, той відданий буде на смерть.

And whosoever shall smite a beast, and it shall die, let him render life for life.	Хто уб’є худобу, повинен заплатити за неї, худобу за худобу.

And whosoever shall inflict a blemish on his neighbour, as he has done to him, so shall it be done to himself in return;	Хто зробить ушкодження на тілі ближнього свого, тому слід зробити те саме, що він зробив:

And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones: and the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.	І сказав Мойсей синам Ізраїлевим; і вивели того, хто лихословив, геть зі стану, і побили його камінням, і зробили сини Ізраїлеві, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві.
Chapter 25	Глава 25

And the Lord spoke to Moses in the mount Sina, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсею на горі Синаї, говорячи:

Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whensoever ye shall have entered into the land, which I give to you, then the land shall rest which I give to you, for its sabbaths to the Lord.	оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: коли прийдете в землю, яку Я даю вам, тоді земля повинна покоїтися в суботу Господню;

Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vine, and gather in its fruit.	шість років засівай поле твоє і шість років обрізуй виноградник твій, і збирай плоди їх,

But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath, it shall be a rest to the land, a sabbath to the Lord: thou shalt not sow thy field, and thou shalt not prune thy vine.	а в сьомий рік буде субота спокою землі, субота Господня: поля твого не засівай і виноградника твого не обрізуй;

And thou shalt not gather the spontaneous produce of thy field, and thou shalt not gather fully the grapes of thy dedication: it shall be a year of rest to the land.	що саме виросте на жниві твоєму, не пожинай, і грон з необрізаної лози твоєї не знімай; нехай буде це рік спокою землі;

And the sabbaths of the land shall be food for thee, and for thy man-servant, and for thy maid-servant, and thy hireling, and the stranger that abides with thee.	і буде це упродовж суботи землі усім вам у їжу, тобі і рабові твоєму, і рабі твоїй, і найманцеві твоєму, і поселенцеві твоєму, що оселився у тебе;

And for thy cattle, and for the wild beasts that are in thy land, shall every fruit of it be for food.	і худобі твоїй і звірам, які на землі твоїй, нехай будуть усі плоди її в їжу.

And thou shalt reckon to thyself seven sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; and they shall be to thee seven weeks of years, nine and forty years.	І нарахуй собі сім суботніх років, сім разів по сім років, щоб було у тебе в семи суботніх роках сорок дев’ять років;

In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall make a proclamation with the sound of a trumpet in all your land; on the day of atonement ye shall make a proclamation with a trumpet in all your land.	і засурми трубою в сьомий місяць, у десятий [день] місяця, у день очищення засурміть трубою по всій землі вашій;

And ye shall sanctify the year, the fiftieth year, and ye shall proclaim a release upon the land to all that inhabit it; it shall be given a year of release, a jubilee for you; and each one shall depart to his possession, and ye shall go each to his family.	і освятіть п’ятдесятий рік і оголосіть свободу на землі всім жителям її: нехай буде це у вас ювілей; і поверніться кожен у володіння своє, і кожен поверніться у своє плем’я.

This is a jubilee of release, the year shall be to you the fiftieth year: ye shall not sow, nor reap the produce that comes of itself from the land, neither shall ye gather its dedicated fruits.	П’ятдесятий рік нехай буде у вас ювілейний: не сійте і не жніть, що саме виросте на землі, і не знімайте ягід з необрізаної лози,

For it is a jubilee of release; it shall be holy to you, ye shall eat its fruits off the fields.	бо це ювілей: священним нехай буде він для вас; з поля їжте врожай його.

In the year of the release even the jubilee of it, shall each one return to his possession.	В ювілейний рік повертайтеся кожен у володіння своє.

And if thou shouldest sell a possession to thy neighbour, or if thou shouldest buy of thy neighbour, let not a man oppress his neighbour.	Якщо будеш продавати що ближньому твоєму, або будеш купувати що у ближнього твого, не кривдьте одне одного;

According to the number of years after the jubilee shalt thou buy of thy neighbour, according to the number of years of the fruits shall he sell to thee.	за розрахунком років після ювілею ти повинен купувати у ближнього твого, і за розрахунком років прибутку він повинен продавати тобі;

According as there may be a greater number of years he shall increase the value of his possession, and according as there may be a less number of years he shall lessen the value of his possession; for according to the number of his crops, so shall he sell to thee.	якщо багато залишається років, збільши ціну; а якщо мало років залишається, зменши ціну, бо за відповідну кількість років жнив він продає тобі.

Let not a man oppress his neighbour, and thou shalt fear the Lord thy God: I am the Lord thy God.	Не кривдьте одне одного; бійся Бога твого, бо Я Господь, Бог ваш.

And ye shall keep all my ordinances, and all my judgments; and do ye observe them, and ye shall keep them, and dwell securely in the land.	Виконуйте постанови Мої, і зберігайте закони Мої і виконуйте їх, і будете жити спокійно на землі;

And the land shall yield her increase, and ye shall eat to fulness, and shall dwell securely in it.	і буде земля давати плід свій, і будете їсти досита, і будете жити спокійно на ній.

And if ye should say, What shall we eat in this seventh year, if we do not sow nor gather in our fruits?	Якщо скажете: що ж нам їсти в сьомий рік, коли ми не будемо ні сіяти, ні збирати врожаї наші?

Then will I send my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and the land shall produce its fruits for three years.	Я пошлю благословення Моє на вас у шостий рік, і він принесе врожаю на три роки;

And ye shall sow in the eighth year, and eat old fruits till the ninth year: until its fruit come, ye shall eat old fruits of the old.	і будете сіяти у восьмий рік, але будете їсти врожаї старі до дев’ятого року; доки не вистигне врожай його, будете їсти старе.

And the land shall not be sold for a permanence; for the land is mine, because ye are strangers and sojourners before me.	Землю не слід продавати назавжди, бо Моя земля: ви прибульці і поселенці у Мене;

And in every land of your possession, ye shall allow ransoms for the land.	по всій землі володіння вашого дозволяйте викуп землі.

And if thy brother who is with thee be poor, and should have sold part of his possession, and his kinsman who is nigh to him come, then he shall redeem the possession which his brother has sold.	Якщо брат твій зубожіє і продасть від володіння свого, то прийде близький його родич і викупить продане братом його;

And if one have no near kinsman, and he prosper with his hand, and he find sufficient money, even his ransom;	якщо ж нема кому за нього викупити, але сам він буде мати достаток і знайде, скільки потрібно на викуп,

then shall he calculate the years of his sale, and he shall give what is due to the man to whom he sold it, and he shall return to his possession.	то нехай він розрахує роки продажу свого і поверне залишок тому, кому він продав, і вступить знову у володіння своє;

But if his hand have not prospered sufficiently, so as that he should restore the money to him, then he that bought the possessions shall have them till the sixth year of the release; and it shall go out in the release, and the owner shall return to his possession.	якщо ж не знайде рука його, скільки потрібно повернути йому, то продане ним залишиться у руках покупця до ювілейного року, а в ювілейний рік відійде воно, і він знову вступить у володіння своє.

And if any one should sell an inhabited house in a walled city, then there shall be the ransom of it, until the time is fulfilled: its time of ransom shall be a full year.	Якщо хто продасть житловий будинок у місті, огородженому стіною, то викупити його можна до закінчення року від продажу його: протягом року викупити його можна;

And if it be not ransomed until there be completed of its time a full year, the house which is in the walled city shall be surely confirmed to him that bought it, throughout his generations; and it shall not go out in the release.	якщо ж не буде він викуплений до закінчення цілого року, то будинок, який у місті, що має стіну, залишиться назавжди у покупця його в роди його, і в ювілей не відійде від нього.

But the houses in the villages which have not a wall round about them, shall be reckoned as the fields of the country: they shall always be redeemable, and they shall go out in the release.	А будинки в селищах, навколо яких нема стіни, слід вважати нарівні з полем землі: викуповувати їх [завжди] можна, і в ювілей вони відходять.

And the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities in their possession, shall be always redeemable to the Levites.	А міста левитів, будинки в містах володіння їх, левитам завжди можна викуповувати;

And if any one shall redeem a house of the Levites, then shall their sale of the houses of their possession go out in the release; because the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession in the midst of the children of Israel.	а хто з левитів не викупить, то проданий будинок у місті володіння їх у ювілей відійде, бо будинки в містах левитських складають їхнє володіння серед синів Ізраїлевих;

And the lands set apart for their cities shall not be sold, because this is their perpetual possession.	і поля навколо міст їхніх продавати не можна, бо це вічне володіння їх.

And if thy brother who is with thee become poor, and he fail in resources with thee, thou shalt help him as a stranger and a sojourner, and thy brother shall live with thee.	Якщо брат твій зубожіє і прийде в занепад у тебе, то підтримай його, чи прибулець він, або поселенець, щоб він жив з тобою;

He shall be with thee as a hireling or a sojourner, he shall work for thee till the year of release:	він повинен бути у тебе як найманець, як поселенець; до ювілейного року нехай працює у тебе,

and he shall go out in the release, and his children with him; and he shall go to his family, he shall hasten back to his patrimony.	а тоді нехай відійде він від тебе, сам і діти його з ним, і повернеться у плем’я своє, і вступить знову у володіння батьків своїх,

Because these are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; such an one shall not be sold as a common servant.	тому що вони — Мої раби, яких Я вивів із землі Єгипетської: не слід продавати їх, як продають рабів;

Thou shalt not oppress him with labour, and shalt fear the Lord thy God.	не пануй над ним з жорстокістю і бійся Бога твого.

And of the sons of the sojourners that are among you, of these ye shall buy and of their relations, all that shall be in your lands; let them be to you for a possession.	також і з дітей поселенців, що оселилися у вас, можете купувати, і з племені їх, яке у вас, що народилося у них в землі вашій, і вони можуть бути вашою власністю;

And ye shall distribute them to your children after you, and they shall be to you permanent possessions for ever: but of your brethren the children of Israel, one shall not oppress his brother in labours.	можете передавати їх у спадщину і синам вашим після себе, як маєток; вічно володійте ними, як рабами. And if a stranger or sojourner with thee wax rich, and thy brother in distress be sold to the stranger or the sojourner that is with thee, or to a proselyte by extraction;	Якщо прибулець або поселенець твій буде мати достаток, а брат твій перед ним зубожіє і продасться прибульцеві, що оселився у тебе, або кому-небудь із племені прибульця,

after he is sold to him there shall be redemption for him, one of his brethren shall redeem him.	то після продажу можна викупити його; хто-небудь із братів його повинен викупити його,

A brother of his father, or son of his father's brother shall redeem him; or let one of his near kin of his tribe redeem him, and if he should be rich and redeem himself,	або дядько його, або син дядька його повинен викупити його, або хто-небудь з родичів його, з племені його, повинен викупити його; або якщо буде мати достаток, сам викупиться.

then shall he calculate with his purchaser from the year that he sold himself to him until the year of release: and the money of his purchase shall be as that of a hireling, he shall be with him from year to year. I am the Lord your God: ye shall not make to yourselves gods made with hands, or graven; neither shall ye rear up a pillar for yourselves, neither shall ye set up a stone for an object in your land to worship it: I am the Lord your God.	Не робіть собі кумирів та ідолів, і стовпів не ставте у себе, і каменів з зображеннями не кладіть у землі вашій, щоб кланятися перед ними, бо Я Господь Бог ваш.

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord.	Суботи Мої додержуйте і святилище Моє шануйте: Я Господь.

If ye will walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them,	Якщо ви будете чинити за уставами Моїми і заповіді Мої будете зберігати і виконувати їх,

then will I give you the rain in its season, and the land shall produce its fruits, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.	то Я дам вам дощі у свій час, і земля дасть плоди свої, і дерева польові дадуть плід свій;

And your threshing time shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake your seed time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full; and ye shall dwell safely upon your land, and war shall not go through your land.	і молотьба хліба буде досягати у вас збирання винограду, збирання винограду буде досягати посіву, і будете їсти хліб свій досита, і будете жити на землі [вашій] безпечно;

And ye shall eat that which is old and very old, and bring forth the old to make way for the new.	і будете їсти старе минулорічне, і викинете старе заради нового;

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, where ye were slaves; and I broke the band of your yoke, and brought you forth openly.	Я Господь Бог ваш, Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської, щоб ви не були там рабами, і знищив кайдани ярма вашого, і повів вас з піднятою головою.

But if ye will not hearken to me, nor obey these my ordinances,	Якщо ж не послухаєте Мене і не будете виконувати всіх заповідей цих,

but disobey them, and your soul should loathe my judgments, so that ye should not keep all my commands, so as to break my covenant,	і якщо знехтуєте Мої постанови, і якщо душа ваша зневажить Мої закони, так що ви не будете виконувати всіх заповідей Моїх, порушивший завіт Мій, —

then will I do thus to you: I will even bring upon you perplexity and the itch, and the fever that causes your eyes to waste away, and disease that consumes your life; and ye shall sow your seeds in vain, and your enemies shall eat them.	то і Я зроблю з вами це: пошлю на вас жах, чахлість і гарячку, від яких стомляться очі і змучиться душа, і будете сіяти насіння ваше марно, і вороги ваші з’їдять його;

And I will set my face against you, and ye shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall pursue you; and ye shall flee, no one pursuing you.	відверну лице Моє від вас, і впадете перед ворогами вашими, і будуть панувати над вами вороги ваші, і побіжите, коли ніхто не буде гнатися за вами.

And if ye still refuse to hearken to me, then will I chasten you yet more even seven times for your sins.	Якщо і після всього цього не послухаєте Мене, то Я всемеро збільшу покарання за гріхи ваші,

And I will break down the haughtiness of your pride; and I will make your heaven iron, and your earth as it were brass.	і зломлю горду завзятість вашу, і небо ваше зроблю, як залізо, і землю вашу, як мідь;

And your strength shall be in vain; and your land shall not yield its seed, and the tree of your field shall not yield its fruit.	і марно буде виснажуватися сила ваша, і земля ваша не дасть плодів своїх, і дерева землі [вашої] не дадуть плодів своїх.

And if after this ye should walk perversely, and not be willing to obey me, I will further bring upon you seven plagues according to your sins.	Якщо ж [після цього] підете проти Мене і не захочете слухати Мене, то Я додам вам ударів усемеро за гріхи ваші:

And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle: and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate.	пошлю на вас звірів польових, які позбавлять вас дітей, знищать худобу вашу і вас зменшать, так що опустіють дороги ваші.

And if hereupon ye are not corrected, but walk perversely towards me,	Якщо і після цього не виправитесь і підете проти Мене,

I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will smite you seven times for your sins.	то і Я [в люті] піду проти вас і уражу вас усемеро за гріхи ваші,

And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of my covenant, and ye shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and ye shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies.	і наведу на вас мстивий меч у помсту за завіт; якщо ж ви сховаєтеся в містах ваших, то пошлю на вас моровицю, і віддані будете в руки ворога;

When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.	хліб, що підкріплює людину, винищу у вас; десять жінок будуть пекти хліб ваш в одній печі і будуть віддавати хліб ваш на вагу; ви будете їсти і не будете ситі.

And if hereupon ye will not obey me, but walk perversely towards me,	Якщо ж і після цього не послухаєте Мене і підете проти Мене,

then will I walk with you with a froward mind, and I will chasten you sevenfold according to your sins.	то і Я в гніві піду проти вас і покараю вас усемеро за гріхи ваші,

And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.	і будете їсти плоть синів ваших, і плоть дочок ваших будете їсти;
30	30
And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden images made with hands; and I will lay your carcases on the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you.	розорю висоти ваші і зруйную стовпи ваші, і вивергну трупи ваші на уламки ідолів ваших, і гребуватиме душа Моя вами;

And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savour of your sacrifices.	міста ваші зроблю пустелею, і спустошу святилища ваші, і не буду чути приємних пахощів [жертв] ваших;

And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it.	спустошу землю [вашу], так що здивуються щодо неї вороги ваші, що оселилися на ній;

And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.	а вас розсію між народами й вийму вслід вам меч, і буде земля ваша порожня і міста ваші зруйновані.

Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation.	Тоді задовольнить себе земля за суботи свої в усі дні запустіння [свого]; коли ви будете в землі ворогів ваших, тоді буде спочивати земля і задовольнить себе за суботи свої;

And ye shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep its sabbaths, and the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation: it shall keep sabbaths which it kept not among your sabbaths, when ye dwelt in it.	в усі дні запустіння [свого] буде вона спочивати, скільки не спочивала в суботи ваші, коли ви жили на ній.

And to those who are left of you I will bring bondage into their heart in the land of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from war, and shall fall when none pursues them.	Хто залишиться з вас, пошлю в серця їхні полохливість на землі ворогів їхніх, і шелест листка від вітру пожене їх, і побіжать, як від меча, і впадуть, коли ніхто їх не переслідує,

And brother shall disregard brother as in war, when none pursues; and ye shall not be able to withstand your enemies.	і спіткнуться один на одного, як від меча, між тим як ніхто не переслідує, і не буде у вас сили протистояти ворогам вашим;

And ye shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.	і загинете між народами, і пожере вас земля ворогів ваших;

And those who are left of you shall perish, because of their sins, and because of the sins of their fathers: in the land of their enemies shall they consume away.	а хто залишиться з вас, вичахнуть за свої беззаконня в землях ворогів ваших і за беззаконня батьків своїх вичахнуть;

And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected me, and that they have walked perversely before me,	тоді зізнаються вони у беззаконні своїм, і в беззаконні батьків своїх, як вони чинили злочини проти Мене і йшли проти Мене,

and I walked with them with a perverse mind; and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies: then shall their uncircumcised heart be ashamed, and then shall they acquiesce in the punishment of their sins.	за що і Я [у гніві] йшов проти них і ввів їх у землю ворогів їхніх; тоді скориться необрізане серце їх, і тоді потерплять вони за беззаконня свої.

And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraam will I remember.	І Я згадаю завіт Мій з Яковом і завіт Мій з Ісааком, і завіт Мій з Авраамом згадаю, і землю згадаю;

And I will remember the land, and the land shall be left of them; then the land shall enjoy her sabbaths, when it is deserted through them: and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquities, because they neglected my judgments, and in their soul loathed my ordinances.	тоді, коли земля залишена буде ними і буде задовольняти себе за суботи свої, спустівши від них, і вони будуть терпіти за своє беззаконня, за те, що нехтували закони Мої і душа їх гребувала постановами Моїми,

And yet not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I overlook them, nor did I loathe them so as to consume them, to break my covenant made with them; for I am the Lord their God.	і тоді, коли вони будуть у землі ворогів їхніх, — Я не знехтую ними і не погребую ними до того, щоб знищити їх, щоб зруйнувати завіт Мій з ними, бо Я Господь, Бог їх;

These are my judgments and my ordinances, and the law which the Lord gave between himself and the children of Israel, in the mount Sina, by the hand of Moses.	Ось постанови і повеління і закони, які постановив Господь між Собою і між синами Ізраїлевими на горі Синаї, через Мойсея.
Chapter 27	Глава 27

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,	І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи:

Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whosoever shall vow a vow as the valuation of his soul for the Lord,	оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: якщо хто дає обітницю присвятити душу Господу за оцінкою твоєю,

the valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be—his valuation shall be fifty didrachms of silver by the standard of the sanctuary.	то оцінка твоя чоловіку від двадцяти років до шістдесяти повинна бути п’ятдесят сиклів срібних, за сиклем священним;

And the valuation of a female shall be thirty didrachms.	якщо ж це жінка, то оцінка твоя повинна бути тридцять сиклів;

And if it be from five years old to twenty, the valuation of a male shall be twenty didrachms, and of a female ten didrachms.	від п’яти років до двадцяти оцінка твоя чоловікові повинна бути двадцять сиклів, а жінці — десять сиклів;

And from a month old to five years old, the valuation of a male shall be five didrachms, and of a female, three didrachms of silver.	а від місяця до п’яти років оцінка твоя чоловікові повинна бути п’ять сиклів срібла, а жінці оцінка твоя три сиклі срібла;

And if from sixty years old and upward, if it be a male, his valuation shall be fifteen didrachms of silver, and if a female, ten didrachms.	від шістдесяти років і вище чоловіку оцінка твоя повинна бути п’ятнадцять сиклів срібла, а жінці — десять сиклів.

And if the man be too poor for the valuation, he shall stand before the priest; and the priest shall value him: according to what the man who has vowed can afford, the priest shall value him.	Якщо ж він бідний і не в силах віддати за оцінкою твоєю, то нехай представлять його священикові, і священик нехай оцінить його: відповідно до достатку того, хто дає обітницю, нехай оцінить його священик.

And if it be from the cattle that are offered as a gift to the Lord, whoever shall offer one of these to the Lord, it shall be holy.	Якщо ж то буде худоба, яку приносять у жертву Господу, то усе, що дано Господу, повинно бути святим:

He shall not change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; and if he do at all change it, a beast for a beast, it and the substitute shall be holy.	не слід вимінювати його і заміняти добре гіршим, або погане добрим; якщо ж стане хто заміняти худобу на худобу, то і вона і заміна її буде святинею.

And if it be any unclean beast, of which none are offered as a gift to the Lord, he shall set the beast before the priest.	Якщо ж то буде яка-небудь худоба нечиста, яку не приносять у жертву Господу, то слід представити худобу священикові,

And the priest shall make a valuation between the good and the bad, and accordingly as the priest shall value it, so shall it stand.	і священик оцінить її, добра вона чи недобра, і як оцінить священик, так і повинно бути;

And if the worshipper will at all redeem it, he shall add the fifth part to its value.	якщо ж хто хоче викупити її, то нехай додасть п’яту частину до оцінки твоєї.

And whatsoever man shall consecrate his house as holy to the Lord, the priest shall make a valuation of it between the good and the bad: as the priest shall value it, so shall it stand.	Якщо хто освячує будинок свій у святиню Господу, то священик повинен оцінити його, добрий він чи недобрий, і як оцінить його священик, так і відбудеться;

And if he that has sanctified it should redeem his house, he shall add to it the fifth part of the money of the valuation, and it shall be his.	якщо ж той, хто посвятив, захоче викупити будинок свій, то нехай додасть п’яту частину срібла оцінки твоєї, і тоді буде його.

And if a man should hallow to the Lord a part of the field of his possession, then the valuation shall be according to its seed, fifty didrachms of silver for a homer of barley.	Якщо поле зі свого володіння посвятить хто Господу, то оцінка твоя повинна бути за мірою посіву: за посів хомера ячменю п’ятдесят сиклів срібла;

And if he should sanctify his field from the year of release, it shall stand according to his valuation.	якщо від ювілейного року посвячує хто поле своє, — повинно відбутися за оцінкою твоєю;

And if he should sanctify his field in the latter time after the release, the priest shall reckon to him the money for the remaining years, until the next year of release, and it shall be deducted as an equivalent from his full valuation.	якщо ж після ювілею посвячує хто поле своє, то священик повинен розрахувати срібло за кількістю років, що залишилися до ювілейного року, і слід зменшити від оцінки твоєї;

And if he that sanctified the field would redeem it, he shall add to its value the fifth part of the money, and it shall be his.	якщо ж захоче викупити поле той, хто посвятив його, то нехай він додасть п’яту частину срібла до оцінки твоєї, і воно залишиться за ним;

And if he do not redeem the field, but should sell the field to another man, he shall not after redeem it.	якщо ж він не викупить поля, і буде продане поле іншій людині, то вже не можна викупити:

But the field shall be holy to the Lord after the release, as separated land; the priest shall have possession of it.	поле те, коли воно в ювілей відійде, буде святинею Господу, ніби поле закляте; священикові дістанеться воно у володіння.

And if he should consecrate to the Lord of a field which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession,	А якщо хто посвятить Господу поле куплене, яке не з полів його володіння,

the priest shall reckon to him the full valuation from the year of release, and he shall pay the valuation in that day as holy to the Lord.	то священик повинен розрахувати йому міру оцінки до ювілейного року, і повинен він віддати за розрахунком у той самий день, як святиню Господню;

And in the year of release the land shall be restored to the man of whom the other bought it, whose the possession of the land was.	поле ж у ювілейний рік перейде знову до того, у кого куплене, кому належить володіння тієї землі.

And every valuation shall be by holy weights: the didrachm shall be twenty oboli.	Всяка оцінка твоя повинна бути за сиклем священним, двадцять гер повинно бути у сиклі.

And every first-born which shall be produced among thy cattle shall be the Lord's, and no man shall sanctify it: whether calf or sheep, it is the Lord's.	Тільки первістків із худоби, які за першістю належать Господу, не повинен ніхто посвячувати: чи віл то, або дрібна худоба, — Господні вони.

But if he should redeem an unclean beast, according to its valuation, then he shall add the fifth part to it, and it shall be his; and if he redeem it not, it shall be sold according to its valuation.	Якщо ж худоба нечиста, то слід викупити за оцінкою твоєю і додати до того п’яту частину; якщо не викуплять, то слід продати за оцінкою твоєю.

And every dedicated thing which a man shall dedicate to the Lord of all that he has, whether man or beast, or of the field of his possession, he shall not sell it, nor redeem it: every devoted thing shall be most holy to the Lord.	Тільки все закляте, що під закляттям віддає людина Господу зі своєї власности, — чи людину, чи худобу, чи поле свого володіння, — не продається і не викуповується: усе закляте є велика святиня Господня;

And whatever shall be dedicated of men, shall not be ransomed, but shall be surely put to death.	усе закляте, що закляте від людей, не викуповується: воно повинне бути віддане на смерть.

Every tithe of the land, both of the seed of the land, and of the fruit of trees, is the Lord's, holy to the Lord.	І всяка десятина на землі з насіння землі і з плодів дерева належить Господу: це святиня Господня;

And if a man should at all redeem his tithe, he shall add the fifth part to it, and it shall be his.	якщо ж хто захоче викупити десятину свою, то нехай додасть до ціни її п’яту частину.

And every tithe of oxen, and of sheep, and whatsoever may come in numbering under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to the Lord.	І всяку десятину з великої і дрібної худоби, з усього, що проходить під жезлом десяте, слід присвячувати Господу;

Thou shalt not change a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; and if thou shouldest at all change it, its equivalent also shall be holy, it shall not be redeemed.	не слід розбирати, добре те чи недобре, і не слід заміняти його; якщо ж хто замінить його, то і саме воно й заміна його буде святинею і не може бути викуплене.
