| І воззвав Господь до Мойсея і сказав йому зі скинії зібрання, говорячи: | And the Lord called Moses again and spoke to him out of the tabernacle of witness, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, |
|

|
| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: коли хто з вас хоче принести жертву Господу, то, якщо з худоби, приносьте жертву вашу з худоби великої і дрібної. | If any man of you shall bring gifts to the Lord, ye shall bring your gifts of the cattle and of the oxen and of the sheep. |

|
| Якщо жертва його є всепаленням з великої худоби, нехай принесе її чоловічої статі, без вад; нехай приведе її до дверей скинії зібрання, щоб придбати йому благовоління перед Господом; | If his gift be a whole-burnt-offering, he shall bring an unblemished male of the herd to the door of the tabernacle of witness, he shall bring it as acceptable before the Lord. |

| і покладе руку свою на голову жертви всепалення — і придбає він благовоління, в очищення гріхів його; | And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt-offering as a thing acceptable for him, to make atonement for him. |
|

|

|
| і заколе тельця перед Господом; сини ж Ааронові, священики, принесуть кров і покроплять кров’ю з усіх боків на жертовник, який при вході у скинію зібрання; | And they shall slay the calf before the Lord; and the sons of Aaron the priests shall bring the blood, and they shall pour the blood round about on the altar, which is at the doors of the tabernacle of witness. |

| і зніме шкуру з жертви всепалення і розсіче її на частини; | And having flayed the whole burnt-offering, they shall divide it by its limbs. |
|

|
7
|
| сини ж Ааронові, священики, покладуть на жертовник вогонь і на вогні розкладуть дрова; | And the sons of Aaron the priests shall put fire on the altar, and shall pile wood on the fire. |
|
8
|
8
|
| і розкладуть сини Ааронові, священики, частини, голову і жир на дровах, що на вогні, на жертовнику; | And the sons of Aaron the priests shall pile up the divided parts, and the head, and the fat on the wood on the fire, the wood which is on the altar. |
|
9
|
9
|
| а нутрощі жертви і ноги її вимиє він водою, і спалить священик усе на жертовнику: це всепалення, жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу. | And the entrails and the feet they shall wash in water, and the priests shall put all on the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. |

| Якщо жертва всепалення його [Господу] з дрібної худоби, з овець, або з кіз, нехай принесе її чоловічої статі, без вад, [і нехай покладе руку на голову її,] | And if his gift be of the sheep to the Lord, or of the lambs, or of the kids for whole-burnt-offerings, he shall bring it a male without blemish. |

| і заколе її перед Господом на північній стороні жертовника, і сини Ааронові, священики, покроплять кров’ю її на жертовник з усіх боків; | And he shall lay his hand on its head; and they shall kill it by the side of the altar, toward the north before the Lord, and the sons of Aaron the priests shall pour its blood on the altar round about. |

| і розсічуть її на частини, відокремивши голову її і жир її, і розкладе їх священик на дровах, які на вогні, на жертовнику, | And they shall divide it by its limbs, and its head and its fat, and the priests shall pile them up on the wood which is on the fire, on the altar. |
|

|
| а нутрощі і ноги вимиє водою, і принесе священик усе і спалить на жертовнику: це всепалення, жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу. | And they shall wash the entrails and the feet with water, and the priest shall bring all the parts and put them on the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. |

| Якщо ж із птахів приносить він Господу всепалення, нехай принесе жертву свою з горлиць, або з молодих голубів; | And if he bring his gift, a burnt-offering to the Lord, of birds, then shall he bring his gift of doves or pigeons. |
|

|
| священик принесе її до жертовника, і скрутить їй голову, і спалить на жертовнику, а кров вицідить до стіни жертовника; | And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and shall wring off its head; and the priest shall put it on the altar, and shall wring out the blood at the bottom of the altar. |
|

|
16
|
| зоб її з пір’ям її відніме і кине його поряд з жертовником на східну сторону, де попіл; | And he shall take away the crop with the feathers, and shall cast it forth by the altar toward the east to the place of the ashes. |
|
17
|
17
|
| і надламає її в крилах її, не відокремлюючи їх, і спалить її священик на жертовнику, на дровах, які на вогні: це всепалення, жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу. | And he shall break it off from the wings and shall not separate it, and the priest shall put it on the altar on the wood which is on the fire: it is a burnt-offering, a sacrifice, a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord. |

Chapter 2

|
| Якщо яка душа хоче принести Господу жертву приношення хлібного, нехай принесе пшеничного борошна, й увіллє на нього єлею, і покладе на нього ливану, | And if a soul bring a gift, a sacrifice to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice. |

| і принесе його до синів Ааронових, священиків, і візьме повну жменю борошна з єлеєм і з усім ливаном, і спалить це священик у пам’ять на жертовнику; це жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу; | And he shall bring it to the priests the sons of Aaron: and having taken from it a handful of the fine flour with the oil, and all its frankincense, then the priest shall put the memorial of it on the altar: it is a sacrifice, an odour of sweet savour to the Lord. |

| а залишки від приношення хлібного Аарону і синам його: це велика святиня з жертв Господніх. | And the remainder of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord. |
|
4
|
4
|
| Якщо ж приносиш жертву приношення хлібного зі спеченого в печі, то принось пшеничні хліби прісні, змішані з єлеєм, і коржі прісні, помазані єлеєм. | And if he bring as a gift a sacrifice baked from the oven, a gift to the Lord of fine flour, he shall bring unleavened bread kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil. |

| Якщо жертва твоя — приношення хлібне зі сковороди, то це повинно бути пшеничне борошно, змішане з єлеєм, прісне; | And if thy gift be a sacrifice from a pan, it is fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened offerings. |
|

|
| розламай його на шматки й влий на нього єлею: це приношення хлібне [Господеві]. | And thou shalt break them into fragments and pour oil upon them: it is a sacrifice to the Lord. |
|

|
7
|
| Якщо жертва твоя — приношення хлібне з горщика, то потрібно зробити це із пшеничного борошна з єлеєм, | And if thy gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. |
|
8
|
8
|
| і принеси приношення, що з цього складено, Господу; представ це священику, а він принесе його до жертовника; | And he shall offer the sacrifice which he shall make of these to the Lord, and shall bring it to the priest. |
|
9
|
9
|
| і візьме священик із цієї жертви частину в пам’ять і спалить на жертовнику: це жертва, пахощі, приємні Господеві; | And the priest shall approach the altar, and shall take away from the sacrifice a memorial of it, and the priest shall place it on the altar: a burnt offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. |

| а залишки приношення хлібного Аарону і синам його: це велика святиня з жертв Господніх. | And that which is left of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, most holy from the burnt-offerings of the Lord. |
|

|
| Ніякого приношення хлібного, яке приносите Господу, не робіть квасного, тому що ні квасного, ні меду не повинні ви спалювати в жертву Господу; | Ye shall not leaven any sacrifice which ye shall bring to the Lord; for as to any leaven, or any honey, ye shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord. |

| як приношення початків приносьте їх Господеві, а на жертовник не можна возносити їх у приємні пахощі. | Ye shall bring them in the way of fruits to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord. |
|

|
| Всяке приношення твоє хлібне соли́ сіллю, і не залишай жертви твоєї без соли завіту Бога твого: при всякому приношенні твоєму принось [Господу Богу твоєму] сіль. | And every gift of your sacrifice shall be seasoned with salt; omit not the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices: on every gift of yours ye shall offer salt to the Lord your God. |

| Якщо приносиш Господу приношення хлібне з перших плодів, принось у дар від перших плодів твоїх з колосся, висушеного на вогні, розтовчені зерна, | And if thou wouldest offer a sacrifice of first-fruits to the Lord, it shall be new grains ground and roasted for the Lord; so shalt thou bring the sacrifice of the first-fruits. |

|
| і влий на них єлею, і поклади на них ливану: це приношення хлібне; | And thou shalt pour oil upon it, and shalt put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice. |
|
16
|
16
|
| і спалить священик у пам’ять частину зерен і єлею з усім ливаном: це жертва Господу. | And the priest shall offer the memorial of it taken from the grains with the oil, and all its frankincense: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord. |
|
Глава 3
|
Chapter 3
|

1
|
| Якщо жертва його жертва мирна, і якщо він приносить з великої худоби, чоловічої або жіночої статі, нехай принесе Господу її, що не має вад, | And if his gift to the Lord be a peace-offering, if he should bring it of the oxen, whether it be male or whether it be female, he shall bring it unblemished before the Lord. |

| і покладе руку свою на голову жертви своєї, і заколе її біля дверей скинії зібрання; сини ж Ааронові, священики, покроплять кров’ю на жертовник з усіх боків; | And he shall lay his hands on the head of the gift, and shall slay it before the Lord, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness. And the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood on the altar of burnt-offerings round about. |

| і принесе він з мирної жертви в жертву Господу жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах, | And they shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord, the fat covering the belly, and all the fat on the belly. |
|

|
| і обидві нирки і жир, який на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками він відокремить це; | And the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them; he shall take away that which is on the thighs, and the caul above the liver together with the kidneys. |
|

| і сини Ааронові спалять це на жертовнику разом із всепаленням, яке на дровах, на вогні: це жертва, пахощі, приємні Господу. | And the priests the sons of Aaron shall offer them on the altar on the burnt-offering, on the wood which is on the fire upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. |

| А якщо з дрібної худоби приносить він мирну жертву Господу, чоловічої або жіночої статі, нехай принесе її, що не має вад. | And if his gift be of the sheep, a peace-offering to the Lord, male or female, he shall bring it unblemished. |
|

|
| Якщо з овець приносить він жертву свою, нехай представить її перед Господом, | If he bring a lamb for his gift, he shall bring it before the Lord. |
|

|
8
|
| і покладе руку свою на голову жертви своєї, і заколе її перед скинією зібрання, і сини Ааронові покроплять кров’ю її на жертовник з усіх боків; | And he shall lay his hands on the head of his offering, and shall slay it by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about. |

| і нехай принесе з мирної жертви у жертву Господу жир її, весь курдюк, відрізавши його по саму хребтову кістку, і жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах, | And he shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord: the fat and the hinder part unblemished he shall take away with the loins, and having taken away all the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly, |

| і обидві нирки і жир, що на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками він відокремить це; | and both the kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and that which is on the thighs, and the caul which is on the liver with the kidneys, |

| священик спалить це на жертовнику; це пожива вогню — жертва Господу. | the priest shall offer these on the altar: it is a sacrifice of sweet savour, a burnt-offering to the Lord. |
|

|
| А якщо він приносить жертву з кіз, нехай представить її перед Господом, | And if his offering be of the goats, then shall he bring it before the Lord. |
|

|

|
| і покладе руку свою на голову її, і заколе її перед скинією зібрання, і покроплять сини Ааронові кров’ю її на жертовник з усіх боків; | And he shall lay his hands on its head; and they shall slay it before the Lord by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about. |

| і принесе з неї в приношення, у жертву Господу жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах, | And he shall offer of it a burnt-offering to the Lord, even the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly. |
|

|
| і обидві нирки і жир, що на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками він відокремить це | And both the kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, that which is upon the thighs, and the caul of the liver with the kidneys, shall he take away. |
|

| і спалить їх священик на жертовнику: це пожива вогню — приємні пахощі [Господу]; весь жир Господу. | And the priest shall offer it upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. All the fat belongs to the Lord. |

| Ця постанова вічна в роди ваші, в усіх оселях ваших; ніякого жиру і ніякої крови не їжте. | It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your habitations; ye shall eat no fat and no blood. |
|
Глава 4
|
Chapter 4
|
|

1
|
| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, кажучи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |
|

|

|
| скажи синам Ізраїлевим: якщо яка душа згрішить помилково проти яких-небудь заповідей Господніх і зробить що-небудь, чого не треба робити; | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin unwillingly before the Lord, in any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which he ought not to do, and shall do some of them; |

|
| якщо священик помазаний згрішить і зробить винним народ, — то за гріх свій, яким згрішив, нехай принесе з великої худоби тельця, без вад, Господу в жертву за гріх, | if the anointed priest sin so as to cause the people to sin, then shall he bring for his sin, which he has sinned, an unblemished calf of the herd to the Lord for his sin. |

|
| і приведе тельця до дверей скинії зібрання перед Господом, і покладе руки свої на голову тельця, і заколе тельця перед Господом; | And he shall bring the calf to the door of the tabernacle of witness before the Lord, and he shall put his hand on the head of the calf before the Lord, and shall slay the calf in the presence of the Lord. |

|
| і візьме священик помазаний, [освячений довершеним освяченням,] крови тельця і внесе її в скинію зібрання, | And the anointed priest who has been consecrated having received of the blood of the calf, shall then bring it into the tabernacle of witness. |
|
6
|
6
|
| і вмочить священик перст свій у кров і покропить кров’ю сім разів перед Господом перед завісою святилища; | And the priest shall dip his finger into the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, over against the holy veil. |
|
7
|
7
|
| і покладе священик кров [тельця] перед Господом на роги жертовника запашного кадіння, що у скинії зібрання, а решту крови тельця виллє до підніжжя жертовника всепалень, що біля входу скинії зібрання; | And the priest shall put of the blood of the calf on the horns of the altar of the compound incense which is before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of witness; and all the blood of the calf shall he pour out by the foot of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, which is by the doors of the tabernacle of witness. |

|
| і вийме з тельця за гріх весь жир його, жир, що покриває нутрощі, і весь жир, що на нутрощах, | And all the fat of the calf of the sin-offering shall he take off from it; the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards, |
|

|
9
|
| і обидві нирки і жир, що на них, що на стегнах, і сальник на печінці; з нирками відокремить він це, | and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, that which is on the thighs, and the caul that is on the liver with the kidneys, them shall he take away, |
|

|
| як відокремлюється з тельця жертви мирної; і спалить їх священик на жертовнику всепалення; | as he takes it away from the calf of the sacrifice of peace-offering, so shall the priest offer it on the altar of burnt-offering. |
|

|
11
|
| а шкуру тельця і все м’ясо його з головою і з ногами його, і нутрощі його і нечистоту його, | And they shall take the skin of the calf, and all his flesh with the head and the extremities and the belly and the dung, |
|
12
|
12
|
| усього тельця нехай винесе поза стан на чисте місце, де висипається попіл, і спалить його вогнем на дровах; де висипається попіл, там нехай спалений буде. | and they shall carry out the whole calf out of the camp into a clean place, where they pour out the ashes, and they shall consume it there on wood with fire: it shall be burnt on the ashes poured out. |

|
| Якщо ж уся громада Ізраїлева згрішить помилково і сховане буде діло від очей зібрання, і зробить що-небудь проти заповідей Господніх, чого не належало робити, і буде винна, | And if the whole congregation of Israel trespass ignorantly, and a thing should escape the notice of the congregation, and they should do one thing forbidden of any of the commands of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and should transgress: |

|
| то, коли викритий буде гріх, яким вони згрішили, нехай від усієї громади принесуть з великої худоби тельця в жертву за гріх і приведуть його перед скинію зібрання; | and the sin wherein they have sinned should become known to them, then shall the congregation bring an unblemished calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and they shall bring it to the doors of the tabernacle of witness. |

|
| і покладуть старійшини громади руки свої на голову тельця перед Господом і заколють тельця перед Господом; | And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the calf before the Lord, and they shall slay the calf before the Lord. |
|
16
|
16
|
| І внесе помазаний священик кров тельця в скинію зібрання, | And the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the calf into the tabernacle of witness. |
|
17
|
17
|
| і вмочить священик перст свій у кров [тельця] і покропить сім разів перед Господом перед завісою [святилища], | And the priest shall dip his finger into some of the blood of the calf, and shall sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil of the sanctuary. |
|
18
|
18
|
| і покладе кров на роги жертовника [запашного куріння], який перед лицем Господнім у скинії зібрання, а решту крови виллє до підніжжя жертовника всепалення, що при вході скинії зібрання; | And the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of the incense of composition, which is before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of witness; and he shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, which is by the door of the tabernacle of witness. |

| і весь жир його вийме з нього і спалить на жертовнику; | And he shall take away all the fat from it, and shall offer it up on the altar. |
|
20
|
20
|
| і зробить з тельцем те, що робиться з тельцем за гріх: так повинен зробити з ним, і так очистить їх священик, і прощено буде їм; | And he shall do to the calf as he did to the calf of the sin-offering, so shall it be done; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and the trespass shall be forgiven them. |
|

|
| і винесе тельця поза стан, і спалить його так, як спалив попереднього тельця. Це жертва за гріх громади. | And they shall carry forth the calf whole without the camp, and they shall burn the calf as they burnt the former calf: it is the sin-offering of the congregation. |
|

|
| А якщо згрішить начальник, і зробить помилково що-небудь проти заповідей Господа, Бога свого, чого не належало робити, і буде винен, | And if a ruler sin, and break one of all the commands of the Lord his God, doing the thing which ought not to be done, unwillingly, and shall sin and trespass, |
|

|
23
|
| то, коли пізнаний буде ним гріх, яким він згрішив, нехай приведе він у жертву козла без вад, | and his trespass wherein he has sinned, be known to him,—then shall he offer for his gift a kid of the goats, a male without blemish. |
|
24
|
24
|
| і покладе руку свою на голову козла, і заколе його на місці, де заколюються всепалення перед Господом: це жертва за гріх; | And he shall lay his hand on the head of the kid, and they shall kill it in the place where they kill the victims for whole-burnt-offerings before the Lord; it is a sin-offering. |
|

|
| і візьме священик перстом своїм крови від жертви за гріх і покладе на роги жертовника всепалення, а решту крови його виллє до підніжжя жертовника всепалення; | And the priest shall put some of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger on the horns of the altar of whole-burnt-offering; and he shall pour out all its blood by the bottom of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings. |

| і весь жир його спалить на жертовнику, подібно як жир жертви мирної, і так очистить його священик від гріха його, і прощено буде йому. | And he shall offer up all his fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him. |

| Якщо ж хто з народу землі згрішить помилково і зробить що-небудь проти заповідей Господніх, чого не належало робити, і винен буде, | And if a soul of the people of the land should sin unwillingly, in doing a thing contrary to any of the commandments of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and shall transgress, |

| то, коли пізнаний буде ним гріх, яким він згрішив, нехай приведе він у жертву козу без вад за гріх свій, яким він згрішив, | and his sin should be known to him, wherein he has sinned, then shall he bring a kid of the goats, a female without blemish shall he bring for his sin, which he has sinned. |

| і покладе руку свою на голову жертви за гріх, і заколють [козу] у жертву за гріх на місці, [де заколюють] жертву всепалення; | And he shall lay his hand on the head of his sin-offering, and they shall slay the kid of the sin-offering in the place where they slay the victims for whole-burnt-offerings. |

| і візьме священик крови її перстом своїм, і покладе на роги жертовника всепалення, а решту крови її виллє до підніжжя жертовника; | And the priest shall take of its blood with his finger, and shall put it on the horns of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings; and all its blood he shall pour forth by the foot of the altar. |

| і весь жир її відокремить, подібно як відокремлюється жир із жертви мирної, і спалить його священик на жертовнику в приємні пахощі Господу; і так очистить його священик, і прощено буде йому. | And he shall take away all the fat, as the fat is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offering, and the priest shall offer it on the altar for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and his sin shall be forgiven him. |

| А якщо з отари овець захоче він принести жертву за гріх, нехай принесе жіночої статі, без вад, | And if he should offer a lamb for his sin-offering, he shall offer it a female without blemish. |
|

|
| і покладе руку свою на голову жертви за гріх, і заколе її в жертву за гріх на тому місці, де заколюють жертву всепалення; | And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and they shall kill it in the place where they kill the victims for whole-burnt-offerings. |

| і візьме священик перстом своїм крови від цієї жертви за гріх і покладе на роги жертовника всепалення, а решту крови її виллє до підніжжя жертовника; | And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and shall put it on the horns of the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and he shall pour out all its blood by the bottom of the altar of whole-burnt-offering. |

| Якщо хто згрішить тим, що чув голос прокляття і був свідком, або бачив, або знав, але не оголосив, то він понесе на собі гріх. | And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and he is a witness or has seen or been conscious, if he do not report it, he shall bear his iniquity. |

| Або якщо доторкнеться до чого-небудь нечистого, або до трупа звіра нечистого, або до трупа худоби нечистої, або до трупа гада нечистого, але не знав того, то він нечистий і винний. | That soul which shall touch any unclean thing, or carcase, or that which is unclean being taken of beasts, or the dead bodies of abominable reptiles which are unclean, or carcases of unclean cattle, |

| Або якщо хто безрозсудно устами своїми поклянеться зробити що-небудь зле або добре, яка б то не була справа, в якій люди безрозсудно клянуться, і він не знав того, але після довідався, то він винний в тому. | That unrighteous soul, which determines with his lips to do evil or to do good according to whatsoever a man may determine with an oath, and it shall have escaped his notice, and he shall afterwards know it, and so he should sin in some one of these things:— |

| Якщо він винний в чому-небудь із цього, і сповідається, у чому він згрішив, | then shall he declare his sin in the things wherein he has sinned by that sin. |

| то нехай принесе Господу за гріх свій, яким він згрішив, жертву за провину з дрібної худоби, вівцю або козу, за гріх, і очистить його священик від гріха його. | And he shall bring for his transgressions against the Lord, for his sin which he has sinned, a ewe lamb of the flock, or a kid of the goats, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he has sinned, and his sin shall be forgiven him. |

| Якщо ж він не в змозі принести вівці, то в провину за гріх свій нехай принесе Господу двох горлиць або двох молодих голубів, одного в жертву за гріх, а іншого у всепалення; | And if he cannot afford a sheep, he shall bring for his sin which he has sinned, two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the Lord; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. |

| а іншу вживе у всепалення за встановленням; і так очистить його священик від гріха його, яким він згрішив, і прощено буде йому. | And he shall make the second a whole-burnt-offering, as it is fit; and the priest shall make atonement for his sin which he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him. |

| Якщо ж він не в змозі принести двох горлиць або двох молодих голубів, нехай принесе за те, що згрішив, десяту частину ефи пшеничного борошна в жертву за гріх; нехай не ллє на неї єлею, і ливану нехай не кладе на неї, тому що це жертва за гріх; | And if he cannot afford a pair of turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then shall he bring as his gift for his sin, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering; he shall not pour oil upon it, nor shall he put frankincense upon it, because it is a sin-offering. |

| якщо хто вчинить злочин і помилково згрішить проти посвяченого Господу, нехай за вину свою принесе Господу з отари овець барана без вад, за твоєю оцінкою, срібними сиклями по сиклю священному, у жертву за провину; | The soul which shall be really unconscious, and shall sin unwillingly in any of the holy things of the Lord, shall even bring to the Lord for his transgression, a ram of the flock without blemish, valued according to shekels of silver according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for his transgression wherein he transgressed. |

|
| за ту святиню, проти якої він згрішив, нехай віддасть і додасть до того п’яту частку, і віддасть це священикові, і священик очистить його бараном жертви за провину, і прощено буде йому. | And he shall make compensation for that wherein he has sinned in the holy things; and he shall add the fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of transgression, and his sin shall be forgiven him. |

| Якщо хто згрішить і зробить що-небудь проти заповідей Господніх, чого не належало чинити, і з невідання зробиться винним і понесе на собі гріх, | And the soul which shall sin, and do one thing against any of the commandments of the Lord, which it is not right to do, and has not known it, and shall have transgressed, and shall have contracted guilt, |

| нехай принесе до священика в жертву за провину барана без вад, за оцінкою твоєю, і загладить священик провину його, в чому він переступив з невідання, і прощено буде йому. | he shall even bring a ram without blemish from the flock, valued at a price of silver for his transgression to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for his trespass of ignorance, wherein he ignorantly trespassed, and he knew it not; and it shall be forgiven him. |

| якщо хто згрішить і вчинить злочин перед Господом і стане заперечувати перед ближнім своїм у тім, що йому доручено, або у нього покладено, або ним украдено, або обмане ближнього свого, | Charge Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of whole-burnt-offering; this is the whole-burnt-offering in its burning on the altar all the night till the morning; and the fire of the altar shall burn on it, it shall not be put out. |

| або знайде загублене і заперечуватиме це, і поклянеться неправдиво в чому-небудь, що люди роблять і тим грішать, — | And the priest shall put on the linen tunic, and he shall put the linen drawers on his body; and shall take away that which has been thoroughly burnt, which the fire shall have consumed, even the whole-burnt-offering from the altar, and he shall put it near the altar. |

| і очистить його священик перед Господом, і прощено буде йому, що він не зробив би, усе, в чому він став винним. | This is the law of the sacrifice, which the sons of Aaron shall bring near before the Lord, before the altar. |

|
| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour of the sacrifice with its oil, and with all its frankincense, which are upon the sacrifice; and he shall offer up on the altar a burnt-offering as a sweet-smelling savour, a memorial of it to the Lord. |

I have given it as a portion to them of the burnt-offerings of the Lord: it is most holy, as the offering for sin, and as the offering for trespass. |

| і нехай зніме із себе одяг свій, і зодягне інший одяг, і винесе попіл поза стан на чисте місце; | Every male of the priests shall eat it: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations of the burnt-offerings of the Lord; whosoever shall touch them shall be hallowed. |

| а вогонь на жертовнику нехай горить [і] не вгасає; і нехай священик запалює на ньому дрова кожного ранку, і розкладає на ньому всепалення, і спалює на ньому жир мирної жертви; | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| вогонь безперестанно нехай горить на жертовнику і не вгасає. | This is the gift of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer to the Lord in the day in which thou shalt anoint him; the tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sacrifice continually, the half of it in the morning, and the half of it in the evening. |

|
| Ось закон про приношення хлібне: [священики] сини Ааронові повинні приносити його перед Господом до жертовника; | It shall be made with oil in a frying-pan; he shall offer it kneaded and in rolls, an offering of fragments, an offering of a sweet savour unto the Lord. |

|
| і нехай візьме [священик] жменею своєю з приношення хлібного і пшеничного борошна і єлею і весь ливан, що на жертві, і спалить на жертовнику: це приємні пахощі, у пам’ять перед Господом; | The anointed priest who is in his place, one of his sons, shall offer it: it is a perpetual statute, it shall all be consumed. |

| а решту з нього нехай їдять Аарон і сини його; прісним слід їсти його на святому місці, у дворі скинії зібрання нехай їдять його; | And every sacrifice of a priest shall be thoroughly burnt, and shall not be eaten. |

| не слід пекти його квасним. Це даю Я їм у частку з жертв Моїх. Це велика святиня, подібно як жертва за гріх і жертва за провини. | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| ось приношення від Аарона і синів його, яке принесуть вони Господу в день помазання його: десята частина ефи пшеничного борошна в жертву постійну, половина цього для ранку і половина для вечора; | Every one that touches the flesh of it shall be holy, and on whosesoever garment any of its blood shall have been sprinkled, whosoever shall have it sprinkled, shall be washed in the holy place. |

| на сковороді в єлеї вона має бути приготована; просякнуту єлеєм принось її в шматках, як розломлюється на шматки приношення хлібне; принось її в приємні пахощі Господу; | And the earthen vessel, in whichsoever it shall have been sodden, shall be broken; and if it shall have been sodden in a brazen vessel, he shall scour it and wash it with water. |

| і священик, помазаний на місце його із синів його, повинен робити це: це вічний устав Господа. Уся вона повинна бути спалена; | Every male among the priests shall eat it: it is most holy to the Lord. |

| і всяке хлібне приношення від священика все нехай буде спалене, а не з’їдене. | And no offerings for sin, of whose blood there shall be brought any into the tabernacle of witness to make atonement in the holy place, shall be eaten: they shall be burned with fire. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | |

|
| скажи Аарону і синам його: ось закон про жертву за гріх: жертва за гріх повинна бути заколена перед Господом на тому місці, де заколюється всепалення; це велика святиня; | |

|
|
| священик, який звершує жертву за гріх, повинен їсти її; вона має бути з’їдена на святому місці, у дворі скинії зібрання; | |
|
27
|
|
| усе, що доторкнеться до м’яса її, освятиться; і якщо кров’ю її окропленим буде одяг, то забризкане омий на святому місці; | |

|

| Ось закон про жертву за провину: це велика святиня; | And this is the law of the ram for the trespass-offering; it is most holy. |
|

|
| жертву за провину слід заколоти на тому місці, де заколюється всепалення, і кров’ю її кропити жертовник з усіх боків; | In the place where they slay the whole-burnt-offering, they shall slay the ram of the trespass-offering before the Lord, and he shall pour out the blood at the bottom of the altar round about. |

| той, хто приносить, повинен представити з неї весь жир, курдюк і жир, що вкриває нутрощі, | And he shall offer all the fat from it; and the loins, and all the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, |

| і обидві нирки і жир, який на них, що на стегнах, і сальник, що на печінці; з нирками нехай він відокремить це; | and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, that which is upon the thighs, and the caul upon the liver with the kidneys, he shall take them away. |

| Вся чоловіча стать священичого роду може їсти її; на святому місці слід їсти її: це велика святиня. | Every male of the priests shall eat them, in the holy place they shall eat them: they are most holy. |

|
| Як про жертву за гріх, так і про жертву за провину закон один: вона належить священикові, який очищає через неї. | As the sin-offering, so also is the trespass-offering. There is one law of them; the priest who shall make atonement with it, his it shall be. |

|
| І коли священик приносить чиюсь жертву всепалення, шкіра від жертви всепалення, яку він приносить, належить священикові; | And as for the priest who offers a man's whole-burnt-offering, the skin of the whole-burnt-offering which he offers, shall be his. |

|
| і всяке приношення хлібне, яке печене в печі, і всяке приготоване у горщику або на сковороді, належить священикові, який приносить його; | And every sacrifice which shall be prepared in the oven, and every one which shall be prepared on the hearth, or on a frying-pan, it is the property of the priest that offers it; it shall be his. |

| і всяке приношення хлібне, змішане з єлеєм і сухе, належить усім синам Аароновим, як одному, так і іншому. | And every sacrifice made up with oil, or not made up with oil, shall belong to the sons of Aaron, an equal portion to each. |

| Ось закон про жертву мирну, яку приносять Господу: | This is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which they shall bring to the Lord. |
|

|
| якщо хто в подяку приносить її, то при жертві подяки він повинен принести прісні хліби, змішані з єлеєм, і прісні коржі, помазані єлеєм, і пшеничне борошно, просякнуте єлеєм, хліби, змішані з єлеєм; | If a man should offer it for praise, then shall he bring, for the sacrifice of praise, loaves of fine flour made up with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil, and fine flour kneaded with oil. |

|
| крім коржів, нехай він приносить у приношення своє квасний хліб, при мирній жертві подячній; | With leavened bread he shall offer his gifts, with the peace-offering of praise. |

|
| одне що-небудь з усього приношення свого нехай принесе він для возношення Господу: це належить священикові, який кропить кров’ю мирної жертви; | And he shall bring one of all his gifts, a separate offering to the Lord: it shall belong to the priest who pours forth the blood of the peace-offering. |
|

|
15
|
| м’ясо мирної жертви подяки слід з’їсти в день приношення її, не слід залишати від нього до ранку. | And the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering of praise shall be his, and it shall be eaten in the day in which it is offered: they shall not leave of it till the morning. |

|
| Якщо ж хто приносить жертву за обітницею, або від ревности, то жертву його слід їсти в день приношення, і на другий день те, що залишиться від неї, їсти можна, | And if it be a vow, or he offer his gift of his own will, on whatsoever day he shall offer his sacrifice, it shall be eaten, and on the morrow. |

| а що залишилося від жертовного м’яса до третього дня, треба спалити на вогні; | And that which is left of the flesh of the sacrifice till the third day, shall be consumed with fire. |

|
| якщо ж будуть їсти м’ясо мирної жертви на третій день, то вона не буде благоприємна; хто її принесе, тому ні у що не буде ставитися: це осквернення, і хто буде їсти її, той понесе на собі гріх; | And if he do at all eat of the flesh on the third day, it shall not be accepted for him that offers: it shall not be reckoned to him, it is pollution; and whatsoever soul shall eat of it, shall bear his iniquity. |

| м’яса цього, якщо воно доторкнеться до чого-небудь нечистого, не слід їсти, але треба спалити його на вогні; а м’ясо чисте може їсти всякий чистий; | And whatsoever flesh shall have touched any unclean thing, it shall not be eaten, it shall be consumed with fire; every one that is clean shall eat the flesh. |

| якщо ж яка душа, маючи на собі нечистоту, буде їсти м’ясо мирної жертви Господньої, то знищиться душа та з народу свого; | And whatsoever soul shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering which is the Lord's, and his uncleanness be upon him, that soul shall perish from his people. |

| і якщо яка душа, доторкнувшись до чого-небудь нечистого, до нечистоти людської, або до нечистої худоби, або до якого-небудь нечистого плазуна, буде їсти м’ясо мирної жертви Господньої, то знищиться душа та з народу свого. | And whatsoever soul shall touch any unclean thing, either of the uncleanness of a man, or of unclean quadrupeds, or any unclean abominable thing, and shall eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace-offering, which is the Lord's, that soul shall perish from his people. |

| скажи синам Ізраїлевим: ніякого жиру ні з вола, ні з вівці, ні з козла не їжте. | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no fat of oxen or sheep or goats. |

|
| Жир з мертвого і жир з роздертого звіром можна вживати на всяку справу; а їсти не їжте його; | And the fat of such animals as have died of themselves, or have been seized of beasts, may be employed for any work; but it shall not be eaten for food. |
|
25

|
| тому що, хто буде їсти жир з худоби, що приноситься в жертву Господу, знищиться душа та з народу свого; | Every one that eats fat off the beasts, from which he will bring a burnt-offering to the Lord—that soul shall perish from his people. |
|

|
| і ніякої крови не їжте в усіх оселях ваших ні з птахів, ні з худоби; | Ye shall eat no blood in all your habitations, either of beasts or of birds. |
|

| а хто буде їсти яку-небудь кров, знищиться душа та з народу свого. | Every soul that shall eat blood, that soul shall perish from his people. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| скажи синам Ізраїлевим: хто представляє мирну жертву свою Господу, той з мирної жертви частину повинен принести для приношення Господу; | Thou shalt also speak to the children of Israel, saying, He that offers a sacrifice of peace-offering, shall bring his gift to the Lord also from the sacrifice of peace-offering. |

| своїми руками повинен він принести в жертву Господу: жир із грудьми повинен він принести [і сальник на печінці], потрясаючи грудьми перед лицем Господнім; | His hands shall bring the burnt-offerings to the Lord; the fat which is on the breast and the lobe of the liver, he shall bring them, so as to set them for a gift before the Lord. |

| жир спалить священик на жертовнику, а груди належать Ааронові й синам його; | And the priest shall offer the fat upon the altar, and the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons, |

| і праве плече, як возношення, з мирних жертв ваших віддавайте священикові: | and ye shall give the right shoulder for a choice piece to the priest of your sacrifices of peace-offering. |

|
| хто з синів Ааронових приносить кров із мирної жертви і жир, тому і праве плече в частку; | He that offers the blood of the peace-offering, and the fat, of the sons of Aaron, his shall be the right shoulder for a portion. |

| бо Я беру від синів Ізраїлевих з мирних жертв їхніх груди потрясання і плече возношення, і віддаю їх Аарону священику і синам його у вічну частку від синів Ізраїлевих. | For I have taken the wave-breast and shoulder of separation from the children of Israel from the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons, a perpetual ordinance due from the children of Israel. |

| Ось частина Аарону і частина синам його з жертв Господніх від дня, коли вони стануть перед Господом для священнодійства, | This is the anointing of Aaron, and the anointing of his sons, their portion of the burnt-offerings of the Lord, in the day in which he brought them forward to minister as priests to the Lord; |

|
| яку повелів Господь давати їм від дня помазання їх від синів Ізраїлевих. Це вічна постанова в роди їх. — | as the Lord commanded to give to them in the day in which he anointed them of the sons of Israel, a perpetual statute through their generations. |

| візьми Аарона і синів його з ним, і одежу і єлей помазання, і тельця для жертви за гріхи і двох баранів, і кошик опрісноків, | Take Aaron and his sons, and his robes and the anointing oil, and the calf for the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread, |

|
| і збери всю громаду при вході до скинії зібрання. | and assemble the whole congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness. |
|

|
4
|
| Мойсей зробив так, як повелів йому Господь, і зібралася громада при вході у скинію зібрання. | And Moses did as the Lord appointed him, and he assembled the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of witness. |
|
5
|
5
|
| І сказав Мойсей до громади: ось що повелів Господь зробити. | And Moses said to the congregation, This is the thing which the Lord has commanded you to do. |
|

|
6
|
| І привів Мойсей Аарона і синів його й обмив їх водою; | And Moses brought nigh Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water, |
|

|
7
|
| і поклав на нього хітон, і оперезав його поясом, і вдягнув на нього верхню ризу, і поклав на нього ефод, і оперезав його поясом ефода і прикріпив ним ефод на ньому, | and put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the tunic, and put on him the ephod; |

| і поклав на нього наперсник, і на наперсник поклав урим і тумим, | and girded him with a girdle according to the make of the ephod, and clasped him closely with it: and put upon it the oracle, and put upon the oracle the Manifestation and the Truth. |

| і поклав на голову його кидар, а на кидар з передньої сторони його поклав поліровану дощечку, діадему святині, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві. | And he put the mitre on his head, and put upon the mitre in front the golden plate, the most holy thing, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
|

|
| І взяв Мойсей єлей помазання, і помазав скинію й усе, що в ній, і освятив це; | And Moses took of the anointing oil, |
|
11
|
11
|
| і покропив ним жертовник сім разів, і помазав жертовник й усе приладдя його й умивальник і підніжжя його, щоб освятити їх; | and sprinkled of it seven times on the altar; and anointed the altar, and hallowed it, and all things on it, and the laver, and its foot, and sanctified them; and anointed the tabernacle and all its furniture, and hallowed it. |

| і полив [Мойсей] єлей помазання на голову Аарона і помазав його, щоб освятити його. | And Moses poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron; and he anointed him and sanctified him. |

| І привів Мойсей синів Ааронових, і вдяг їх у хітони, і оперезав їх поясом, і поклав на них кидари, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві. | And Moses brought the sons of Aaron near, and put on them coats and girded them with girdles, and put on them bonnets, as the Lord commanded Moses. |

| І привів [Мойсей] тельця для жертви за гріх, і Аарон та сини його поклали руки свої на голову тельця за гріх; | And Moses brought near the calf for the sin-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the calf of the sin-offering. |

|
| і заколов його [Мойсей] і взяв крови, і перстом своїм поклав на роги жертовника з усіх боків, і очистив жертовник, а решту крови вилив до підніжжя жертовника, і освятив його, щоб зробити його чистим. | And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger; and he purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement upon it. |

| І взяв [Мойсей] весь жир, який на нутрощах, і сальник на печінці, і обидві нирки і жир їх, і спалив Мойсей на жертовнику; | And Moses took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the lobe on the liver, and both the kidneys, and the fat that was upon them, and Moses offered them on the altar. |

| а тельця і шкуру його, і м’ясо його, і нечистоту його спалив на вогні поза станом, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві. | But the calf, and his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
|

|
| І привів [Мойсей] барана для всепалення, і поклали Аарон та сини його руки свої на голову барана; | And Moses brought near the ram for a whole-burnt-offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. And Moses slew the ram: and Moses poured the blood on the altar round about. |
|

|
| і заколов його Мойсей і покропив кров’ю жертовник з усіх боків; | And he divided the ram by its limbs, and Moses offered the head, and the limbs, and the fat; and he washed the belly and the feet with water. |
|

|
20
|
| і розсік барана на частини, і спалив Мойсей голову і частини і жир, | And Moses offered up the whole ram on the altar: it is a whole-burnt-offering for a sweet-smelling savour; it is a burnt-offering to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
|

|

|
| а нутрощі і ноги обмив водою, і спалив Мойсей усього барана на жертовнику: це всепалення для приємних пахощів, це жертва Господу, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві. | And Moses brought the second ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, and he slew him; |

| І привів [Мойсей] іншого барана, барана освячення, і поклали Аарон та сини його руки свої на голову барана; | and Moses took of his blood, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot. |

| і заколов його Мойсей, і взяв крови його, і поклав на край правого вуха Ааронового і на великий палець правої руки його і на великий палець правої ноги його. | And Moses brought near the sons of Aaron; and Moses put of the blood on the tips of their right ears, and on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the great toes of their right feet, and Moses poured out the blood on the altar round about. |

| І привів Мойсей синів Ааронових, і поклав крови на край правого вуха їх і на великий палець правої руки їх і на великий палець правої ноги їх, і покропив Мойсей кров’ю жертовник з усіх боків. | And he took the fat, and the rump, and the fat on the belly, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder. |

| І взяв [Мойсей] жир і курдюк і весь жир, який на нутрощах, і сальник на печінці, і обидві нирки і жир їх і праве плече; | And from the basket of consecration, which was before the Lord, he also took one unleavened loaf, and one loaf made with oil, and one cake; and put them upon the fat, and the right shoulder: |

| і з кошика з опрісноками, що перед Господом, взяв один опріснок і один хліб з єлеєм і один корж, і поклав на жир і на праве плече; | and put them all on the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and offered them up for a wave-offering before the Lord. |

|
| і поклав усе це на руки Аарону і на руки синам його, і приніс це, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім; | And Moses took them at their hands, and Moses offered them on the altar, on the whole-burnt-offering of consecration, which is a smell of sweet savour: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord. |
|

| і взяв це Мойсей з рук їхніх і спалив на жертовнику з усепаленням: це жертва посвячення для приємних пахощів, це жертва Господу. | And Moses took the breast, and separated it for a heave-offering before the Lord, from the ram of consecration; and it became Moses' portion, as the Lord commanded Moses. |

| І взяв Мойсей груди і приніс їх, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім: це була частка Мойсеєва від барана посвячення, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві. | And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood that was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, and on his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him. |

| І взяв Мойсей єлею помазання і крови, що на жертовнику, і покропив Аарона й одяг його, і синів його й одяг синів його з ним; і так освятив Аарона й одежу його, і синів його й одежу синів його з ним. | And he sanctified Aaron and his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him. |

| І сказав Мойсей Аарону і синам його: зваріть м’ясо при вході у скинію зібрання і там їжте його з хлібом, що у кошику посвячення, як мені повелено і сказано: Аарон і сини його повинні їсти його; | And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh in the tent of the tabernacle of witness in the holy place; and there ye shall eat it and the loaves in the basket of consecration, as it has been appointed me, the Lord saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat them. |

|
| а залишки м’яса і хліба спаліть на вогні. | And that which is left of the flesh and of the loaves burn ye with fire. |
|

|
| Сім днів не відходьте від дверей скинії зібрання, доки не виповняться дні посвячення вашого, тому що сім днів повинно відбуватися посвячення ваше; | And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of witness for seven days, until the day be fulfilled, the day of your consecration; for in seven days shall he consecrate you, |

| як сьогодні було зроблено, так повелів Господь робити для очищення вас; | as he did in this day on which the Lord commanded me to do so, to make an atonement for you. |
|

|
| при вході у скинію зібрання будьте день і ніч упродовж семи днів і будьте на сторожі у Господа, щоб не вмерти, тому що так мені повелено [від Господа Бога]. | And ye shall remain seven days at the door of the tabernacle of witness, day and night; ye shall observe the ordinances of the Lord, that ye die not; for so has the Lord God commanded me. |

| І виконав Аарон і сини його все, що повелів Господь через Мойсея. | And Aaron and his sons performed all these commands which the Lord commanded Moses. |

| У восьмий день покликав Мойсей Аарона і синів його і старійшин Ізраїлевих | And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel, |
|

|

|
| і сказав Аарону: візьми собі з волів тельця в жертву за гріх і барана у всепалення, обох без вад, і представ перед лице Господнє; | and Moses said to Aaron, Take to thyself a young calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a whole-burnt-offering, unblemished, and offer them before the Lord. |

| і синам Ізраїлевим скажи: візьміть козла в жертву за гріх, [і барана,] і тельця, і агнця, однолітніх, без вад, у всепалення, | And speak to the elders of Israel, saying, Take one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a young calf, and a lamb of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering, spotless, |

| і вола й барана в жертву мирну, щоб звершити жертвоприношення перед лицем Господнім, і приношення хлібне, змішане з єлеєм, тому що сьогодні Господь явиться вам. | and a calf and a ram for a peace offering before the Lord, and fine flour mingled with oil, for to-day the Lord will appear among you. |

| І принесли те, що наказав Мойсей, перед скинію зібрання, і прийшла вся громада і стала перед лицем Господнім. | And they took as Moses commanded them before the tabernacle of witness, and all the congregation drew nigh, and they stood before the Lord. |
|

|
| І сказав Мойсей: ось що повелів Господь зробити, і явиться вам слава Господня. | And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord has spoken; do it, and the glory of the Lord shall appear among you. |
|
7
|
7
|
| І сказав Мойсей Аарону: приступи до жертовника і зверши жертву твою за гріх і всепалення твоє, й очисти себе і народ, і зроби приношення від народу, й очисти їх, як повелів Господь. | And Moses said to Aaron, Draw nigh to the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy whole-burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for thy house; and offer the gifts of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
|

|
| І приступив Аарон до жертовника і заколов тельця, який за нього, у жертву за гріх: | And Aaron drew nigh to the altar, and slew the calf of his sin-offering. |
|

|
9
|
| сини Ааронові піднесли йому кров, і він омочив перст свій у крові і поклав на роги жертовника, а решту крови вилив до підніжжя жертовника, | And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and he poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar. |

| а жир і нирки і сальник на печінці від жертви за гріх спалив на жертовнику, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві; | And he offered up on the altar the fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver of the sin-offering, according as the Lord commanded Moses. |
|

11
|
| м’ясо ж і шкуру спалив на вогні поза станом. | And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire outside of the camp. |
|
12
|
12
|
| І заколов всепалення, і сини Ааронові піднесли йому кров; він покропив нею жертовник з усіх боків; | And he slew the whole-burnt-offering; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it on the altar round about. |
|
13
|
13
|
| і принесли йому всепалення у шматках і голову, і він спалив на жертовнику, | And they brought the whole-burnt-offering, according to its pieces; them and the head he put upon the altar. |
|
14
|
14
|
| а нутрощі і ноги вимив і спалив з усепаленням на жертовнику. | And he washed the belly and the feet with water, and he put them on the whole-burnt-offering on the altar. |
|
15
|
15
|
| І приніс приношення від народу, і взяв від народу козла за гріх, і заколов його, і приніс його в жертву за гріх, як і попереднього. | And he brought the gift of the people, and took the goat of the sin-offering of the people, and slew it, and purified it as also the first. |
|
16
|
16
|
| І приніс всепалення і зробив його за уставом. | And he brought the whole-burnt-offering, and offered it in due form. |
|
17
|
17
|
| І приніс приношення хлібне, і наповнив ним руки свої, і спалив на жертовнику зверх ранкового всепалення. | And he brought the sacrifice and filled his hands with it, and laid it on the altar, besides the morning whole-burnt-offering. |
|
18
|
18
|
| І заколов вола й барана, які від народу, у жертву мирну; і сини Ааронові піднесли йому кров, і він покропив нею жертовник з усіх боків; | And he slew the calf, and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering of the people; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it out on the altar round about. |

| піднесли і жир з вола, і з барана курдюк, і [жир], що покриває [нутрощі], нирки і сальник на печінці, | And he took the fat of the calf, and the hind quarters of the ram, and the fat covering the belly, and the two kidneys, and the fat upon them, and the caul on the liver. |
|

|
| і поклали жир на груди, і він спалив жир на жертовнику; | And he put the fat on the breasts, and offered the fat on the altar. |
|
21
|
21
|
| груди ж і праве плече приніс Аарон, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім, як повелів Мойсей. | And Aaron separated the breast and the right shoulder as a choice-offering before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
|
22
|
22
|
| І підняв Аарон руки свої, звернувшись до народу, і благословив його, і зійшов, звершивши жертву за гріх, всепалення і жертву мирну. | And Aaron lifted up his hands on the people and blessed them; and after he had offered the sin-offering, and the whole-burnt-offerings, and the peace-offerings, he came down. |

| І ввійшли Мойсей і Аарон у скинію зібрання, і вийшли, і благословили народ. І явилася слава Господня всьому народові: | And Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witness. And they came out and blessed all the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people. |
|

|
| і вийшов вогонь від Господа і спалив на жертовнику всепалення і жир; і бачив весь народ, і викликнув з радости, й упав на лице своє. | And fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured the offerings on the altar, both the whole-burnt-offerings and the fat; and all the people saw, and were amazed, and fell upon their faces. |

| Надав і Авиуд, сини Ааронові, узяли кожен свою кадильницю, і поклали в них вогню, і вклали в нього куріння, і принесли перед Господом вогонь чужий, якого Він не велів їм; | And the two sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abiud, took each his censer, and put fire therein, and threw incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which the Lord did not command them, |

| і вийшов вогонь від Господа і спалив їх, і померли вони перед лицем Господнім. | and fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. |
|

|

|
| І сказав Мойсей Аарону: ось про що говорив Господь, коли сказав: у тих, хто наближається до Мене, освячусь і перед усім народом прославлюсь. Аарон мовчав. | And Moses said to Aaron, This is the thing which the Lord spoke, saying, I will be sanctified among them that draw nigh to me, and I will be glorified in the whole congregation; and Aaron was pricked in his heart. |

| І покликав Мойсей Мисаїла й Елцафана, синів Узиїла, дядька Ааронового, і сказав їм: підіть, винесіть братів ваших зі святилища за стан. | And Moses called Misadaë, and Elisaphan, sons of Oziel, sons of the brother of Aaron's father, and said to them, Draw near and take your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. |

| І пішли і винесли їх у хітонах їхніх за стан, як сказав Мойсей. | And they came near and took them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses said. |
|

|
| Аарону ж і Єлеазару й Іфамару, синам його, Мойсей сказав: голів ваших не оголюйте й одягу вашого не роздирайте, щоб вам не померти і не навести гніву на всю громаду; але брати ваші, весь дім Ізраїлів, можуть плакати за спаленими, яких спалив Господь, | And Moses said to Aaron, and Eleazar and Ithamar his sons that were left, Ye shall not make bare your heads, and ye shall not tear your garments; that ye die not, and so there should be wrath on all the congregation: but your brethren, even all the house of Israel, shall lament for the burning, with which they were burnt by the Lord. |

| і з дверей скинії зібрання не виходьте, щоб не померти вам, тому що на вас єлей помазання Господнього. І зробили за словом Мойсея. | And ye shall not go forth from the door of the tabernacle of witness, that ye die not; for the Lord's anointing oil is upon you: and they did according to the word of Moses. |

| І сказав Господь Аарону, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying, |

|
| вина і міцних напоїв не пий ти і сини твої з тобою, коли входите в скинію зібрання, [або приступаєте до жертовника,] щоб не померти. Це вічна постанова в роди ваші, | Ye shall not drink wine nor strong drink, thou and thy sons with thee, whensoever ye enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when ye approach the altar, so shall ye not die; it is a perpetual statute for your generations, |

|
| щоб ви могли відрізняти священне від несвященного і нечисте від чистого, | to distinguish between sacred and profane, and between clean and unclean, |
|

|
11
|
| і навчати синів Ізраїлевих усіх уставів, про які говорив їм Господь через Мойсея. | and to teach the children of Israel all the statutes, which the Lord spoke to them by Moses. |
|

|
12
|
| І сказав Мойсей Аарону та Єлеазару й Іфамару, які залишилися з синів його: візьміть приношення хлібне, що залишилося від жертв Господніх, і їжте його прісним біля жертовника, бо це велика святиня; | And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who survived, Take the sacrifice that is left of the burnt-offerings of the Lord, and ye shall eat unleavened bread by the altar: it is most holy. |

| і їжте його на святому місці, бо це частка твоя і частка синів твоїх від жертв Господніх: так мені наказано [від Господа]; | And ye shall eat it in the holy place; for this is a statute for thee and a statute for thy sons, of the burnt-offerings to the Lord; for so it has been commanded me. |

|
| і груди потрясіння і плече підношення їжте на чистому місці, ти і сини твої і дочки твої з тобою, тому що це дано в частку тобі й у частку синам твоїм з мирних жертв синів Ізраїлевих; | And ye shall eat the breast of separation, and the shoulder of the choice-offering in the holy place, thou and thy sons and thy house with thee; for it has been given as an ordinance for thee and an ordinance for thy sons, of the sacrifices of peace-offering of the children of Israel. |

|
| плече підношення і груди потрясання повинні вони приносити з жертвами жиру, потрясаючи перед лицем Господнім, і нехай буде це вічною часткою тобі і синам твоїм [і дочкам твоїм] з тобою, як повелів Господь [Мойсеєві]. | They shall bring the shoulder of the choice-offering, and the breast of the separation upon the burnt-offerings of the fat, to separate for a separation before the Lord; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for thee and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, as the Lord commanded Moses. |

| І козла жертви за гріхи шукав Мойсей, і ось, він спалений. І розгнівався [Мойсей] на Єлеазара й Іфамара, які залишилися з синів Ааронових, і сказав: | And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin-offering, but it had been consumed by fire; and Moses was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron that were left, saying, |

| чому ви не їли жертви за гріх на святому місці? бо вона святиня велика, і вона дана вам, щоб знімати гріхи з громади й очищати їх перед Господом; | Why did ye not eat the sin-offering in the holy place? for because it is most holy he has given you this to eat, that ye might take away the sin of the congregation, and make atonement for them before the Lord. |

| ось, кров її не внесена всередину святилища, а ви повинні були їсти її на святому місці, як повелено мені. | For the blood of it was not brought into the holy place: ye shall eat it within, before the Lord, as the Lord commanded me. |
|

|
| Аарон сказав Мойсеєві: ось, сьогодні принесли вони жертву свою за гріх і всепалення своє перед Господом, і це трапилось зі мною; якщо я сьогодні з’їм жертву за гріх, чи буде це вгодно Господу? | And Aaron spoke to Moses, saying, If they have brought nigh to-day their sin-offerings, and their whole-burnt-offerings before the Lord, and these events have happened to me, and yet I should eat to-day of the sin-offerings, would it be pleasing to the Lord? |

| І почув Мойсей і схвалив. | And Moses heard it, and it pleased him. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві й Ааронові, говорячи їм: | And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, |

| скажіть синам Ізраїлевим: ось тварини, що їх можна вам їсти з усієї худоби на землі: | Speak ye to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat of all beasts that are upon the earth. |
|

|
3
|
| усяку худобу, у якої роздвоєні копита і на копитах глибокий розріз, і яка жує жуйку, їжте; | Every beast parting the hoof and making divisions of two claws, and chewing the cud among beasts, these ye shall eat. |
|

|
4
|
| тільки цих не їжте з тих, що жують жуйку і що мають роздвоєні копита: верблюда, тому що він жує жуйку, але копита в нього не роздвоєні, нечистий він для вас; | But of these ye shall not eat, of those that chew the cud, and of those that part the hoofs, and divide claws; the camel, because it chews the cud, but does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you. |

| скажи синам Ізраїлевим: якщо жінка зачне і народить немовля чоловічої статі, то вона нечиста буде сім днів; як у дні нечистоти від місячних її, вона буде нечиста; | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whatsoever woman shall have conceived and born a male child shall be unclean seven days, she shall be unclean according to the days of separation for her monthly courses. |

| у восьмий же день обріжеться у нього крайня плоть його; | And on the eighth day she shall circumcise the flesh of his foreskin. |

| і тридцять три дні повинна вона сидіти, очищаючись від крови своєї; ні до чого священного не повинна доторкатися і до святилища не повинна приходити, доки не виповняться дні очищення її. | And for thirty-three days she shall continue in her unclean blood; she shall touch nothing holy, and shall not enter the sanctuary, until the days of her purification be fulfilled. |

| коли в кого з’явиться на шкірі тіла його пухлина, або лишаї, або пляма, і на шкірі тіла його зробиться наче виразка прокази, то слід привести його до Аарона священика, або до одного із синів його, священиків; | If any man should have in the skin of his flesh a bright clear spot, and there should be in the skin of his flesh a plague of leprosy, he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests. |

| то це застаріла проказа на шкірі тіла його; і священик оголосить його нечистим і ізолює його, бо він нечистий. | it is a leprosy waxing old in the skin of the flesh; and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall separate him, because he is unclean. |

| Коли ж виявиться на ньому живе м’ясо, то він нечистий; | But on whatsoever day the quick flesh shall appear on him, he shall be pronounced unclean. |

| священик, побачивши живе м’ясо, оголосить його нечистим; живе м’ясо нечисте: це проказа. | And the priest shall look upon the sound flesh, and the sound flesh shall prove him to be unclean; for it is unclean, it is a leprosy. |

| Якщо ж живе м’ясо зміниться і перетвориться на біле, нехай він прийде до священика; | But if the sound flesh be restored and changed to white, then shall he come to the priest; |

| священик огляне його, і якщо виразка перетвориться на біле, священик оголосить хворого чистим; він чистий. | and the priest shall see him, and, behold, if the plague is turned white, then the priest shall pronounce the patient clean: he is clean. |

| Якщо в кого на шкірі тіла був нарив і загоївся, | And if the flesh should have become an ulcer in his skin, and should be healed, |

|
| і на місці нариву з’явилася біла пухлина, чи пляма біла або червонувата, то він повинен з’явитися до священика; | and there should be in the place of the ulcer a white sore, or one looking white and bright, or fiery, and it shall be seen by the priest; |

| священик огляне його, і якщо воно виявиться нижче шкіри, і волосся його змінилося на біле, то священик оголосить його нечистим: це виразка прокази, вона розцвіла на нариві; | then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the appearance be beneath the skin, and its hair has changed to white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; because it is a leprosy, it has broken out in the ulcer. |

| і священик побачить, що паршивість поширюється по шкірі, то священик нехай не шукає жовтуватого волосся: він нечистий. | then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scurf be spread in the skin, the priest shall not examine concerning the yellow hair, for he is unclean. |

| Якщо ж паршивість залишається у своєму вигляді, і показується на ній волосся чорне, то паршивість минула, він чистий; священик оголосить його чистим. | But if the scurf remain before him in its place, and a dark hair should have arisen in it, the scurf is healed: he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean. |

| і священик побачить, що на шкірі тіла їх плями блідо-білі, то це лишай, що розцвів на шкірі: він чистий. | then the priest shall look; and, behold, there being bright spots of a bright whiteness in the skin of their flesh, it is a tetter; it bursts forth in the skin of his flesh; he is clean. |

| священик вийде геть зі стану, і якщо священик побачить, що прокажений зцілився від хвороби прокаження, | And the priest shall come forth out of the camp, and the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague of the leprosy is removed from the leper. |

| і візьме священик одного барана, і представить його в жертву за провину, і лог єлею, і принесе це, потрясаючи перед Господом; | And the priest shall take one lamb, and offer him for a trespass-offering, and the cup of oil, and set them apart for a special offering before the Lord. |

| й омочить священик правий перст свій у єлей, який на лівій долоні його, і покропить єлеєм з перста свого сім разів перед лицем Господа; | And he shall dip with the finger of his right hand into some of the oil that is in his left hand, and he shall sprinkle with his finger seven times before the Lord. |

|
| єлей же, що залишився, який на долоні його, покладе священик на край правого вуха того, хто очищається, на великий палець правої руки його і на великий палець правої ноги його, на місця, де кров жертви за провину; | And the remaining oil that is in his hand, the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of him that is under cleansing, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass-offering. |

| і покладе священик всепалення і приношення хлібне на жертовник; і очистить його священик, і він буде чистий. | And the priest shall offer the whole-burnt-offering, and the sacrifice upon the altar before the Lord; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be cleansed. |

| Якщо ж він бідний і не має достатку, то нехай візьме одного барана в жертву за провину для потрясання, щоб очистити себе, і одну десяту частину ефи пшеничного борошна, змішаного з єлеєм, для приношення хлібного, і лог єлею, | And if he should be poor, and cannot afford so much, he shall take one lamb for his transgression for a separate-offering, so as to make propitiation for him, and a tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a sacrifice, and one cup of oil, |

| коли ввійдете в землю Ханаанську, яку Я даю вам у володіння, і Я наведу виразку прокази на доми в землі володіння вашого, | Whensoever ye shall enter into the land of the Chananites, which I give you for a possession, and I shall put the plague of leprosy in the houses of the land of your possession; |

| І ось [закон] про нечистоту його від течі його: коли тече з тіла його теча його, і коли затримується в тілі його теча його, це нечистота його; | And this is the law of his uncleanness; whoever has a gonorrhœa out of his body, this is his uncleanness in him by reason of the issue, by which his body is affected through the issue: all the days of the issue of his body, by which his body is affected through the issue, there is his uncleanness. |

| у восьмий день візьме вона собі двох горлиць або двох молодих голубів і принесе їх до священика до входу у скинію зібрання; | And on the eighth day she shall take two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, and shall bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of witness. |

| І говорив Господь Мойсеєві після смерти двох синів Ааронових, коли вони, приступивши [з чужим огнем] перед лице Господнє, померли, | And the Lord spoke to Moses after the two sons of Aaron died in bringing strange fire before the Lord, so they died. |

| і сказав Господь Мойсеєві: скажи Аарону, братові твоєму, щоб він не в усякий час входив у святилище за завісу перед кришку [очистилище], що на ковчезі [одкровення], щоб йому не померти, бо над кришкою Я буду являтися у хмарі. | And the Lord said to Moses, Speak to Aaron thy brother, and let him not come in at all times into the holy place within the veil before the propitiatory, which is upon the ark of the testimony, and he shall not die; for I will appear in a cloud on the propitiatory. |

| І принесе Аарон тельця в жертву за гріх за себе й очистить себе і дім свій. | And Aaron shall bring the calf for his own sin-offering, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house. |

Так повинен вчинити він і зі скинією зібрання, що знаходиться в них, серед нечистот їхніх. | And he shall make atonement for the sanctuary on account of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and for their trespasses in the matter of all their sins; and thus shall he do to the tabernacle of witness established among them in the midst of their uncleanness. |

| І звершивши очищення святилища, скинії зібрання і жертовника [і очистивши священиків], приведе він живого козла, | And he shall finish making atonement for the sanctuary and for the tabernacle of witness, and for the altar; and he shall make a cleansing for the priests, and he shall bring the living goat; |

| і покладе Аарон обидві руки свої на голову живого козла, і сповідає над ним усі беззаконня синів Ізраїлевих і всі злочини їхні і всі гріхи їхні, і покладе їх на голову козла, і відішле з призначеною людиною в пустелю: | and Aaron shall lay his hands on the head of the live goat, and he shall declare over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their unrighteousnesses, and all their sins; and he shall lay them upon the head of the live goat, and shall send him by the hand of a ready man into the wilderness. |

| і понесе козел на собі всі беззаконня їхні у землю непрохідну, і пустить він козла в пустелю. | And the goat shall bear their unrighteousnesses upon him into a desert land; and Aaron shall send away the goat into the wilderness. |

| А тельця за гріх і козла за гріх, кров яких внесена була для очищення святилища, нехай винесуть геть зі стану і спалять на вогні шкури їх і м’ясо їх і нечистоту їх; | And the calf for the sin-offering, and the goat for the sin-offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, they shall carry forth out of the camp, and burn them with fire, even their skins and their flesh and their dung. |

| І нехай буде це для вас вічною постановою: у сьомий місяць, в десятий [день] місяця смиряйте душі ваші і ніякої справи не робіть, ні тубілець, ні прибулець, що оселився між вами, | And this shall be a perpetual statute for you; in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall humble your souls, and shall do no work, the native and the stranger who abides among you. |

| оголоси Аарону і синам його і всім синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: ось що повеліває Господь: | Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, This is the word which the Lord has commanded, saying, |

| якщо хто з дому Ізраїлевого [або з прибульців, що приєдналися до вас] заколе тельця або вівцю чи козу в стані, або якщо хто заколе поза станом | Every man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers abiding among you, who shall kill a calf, or a sheep, or a goat in the camp, or who shall kill it out of the camp, |

| і не приведе до входу скинії зібрання, [щоб принести у всепалення або в жертву за спасіння, угодну Господу, у приємні пахощі, і якщо хто заколе поза станом і до входу в скинію зібрання не принесе,] щоб представити в жертву Господу перед оселею Господньою, то людині тій буде поставлена кров: він пролив кров, і знищиться людина та з народу свого; | and shall not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of witness, so as to sacrifice it for a whole-burnt-offering or peace-offering to the Lord to be acceptable for a sweet-smelling savour: and whosoever shall slay it without, and shall not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of witness, so as to offer it as a gift to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord; blood shall be imputed to that man, he has shed blood; that soul shall be cut off from his people. |

| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, I am the Lord your God. |

| За ділами землі Єгипетської, у якій ви жили, не чиніть, і за ділами землі Ханаанської, у яку Я веду вас, не чиніть, і за встановленнями їх не ходіть: | Ye shall not do according to the devices of Egypt, in which ye dwelt: and according to the devices of the land of Chanaan, into which I bring you, ye shall not do; and ye shall not walk in their ordinances. |

| Наготи дружини брата твого не відкривай, це нагота брата твого. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness. |

| Наготи дружини і дочки її не відкривай; дочки сина її і дочки дочки її не бери, щоб відкрити наготу їхню, вони єдинокровні її; це беззаконня. | The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter, shalt thou not take, to uncover their nakedness, for they are thy kinswomen: it is impiety. |

| Не лягай з чоловіком як з жінкою: це мерзенність. | And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination. |
|

|
| І ні з якою худобою не лягай, щоб вилити [сíм’я] і осквернитися від цього; і жінка не повинна ставати перед худобою для злучення з нею: це мерзенно. | Neither shalt thou lie with any quadruped for copulation, to be polluted with it: neither shall a woman present herself before any quadruped to have connexion with it; for it is an abomination. |

| Не опоганюйте себе нічим цим, тому що всім цим опоганили себе народи, яких Я проганяю від вас: | Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for in all these things the nations are defiled, which I drive out before you, |

| і опоганилася земля, і Я споглянув на беззаконня її, і звергла з себе земля тих, що жили на ній. | and the land is polluted; and I have recompensed their iniquity to them because of it, and the land is aggrieved with them that dwell upon it. |

| А ви дотримуйтеся постанов Моїх і законів Моїх і не робіть усіх цих гидот, ні тубілець, ні прибулець, що живе між вами, | And ye shall keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and ye shall do none of these abominations; neither the native, nor the stranger that joins himself with you: |

| тому що всі ці мерзоти робили люди цієї землі, що перед вами, і опоганилася земля; | (for all these abominations the men of the land did who were before you, and the land was defiled,) |
|

|
| щоб і вас не звергла із себе земля, коли ви станете опоганювати її, як вона звергла народи, що були раніше вас; | and lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you. |
|

|
| бо якщо хто буде робити усі ці мерзоти, то душі, які роблять це, знищені будуть з народу свого. | For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, the souls that do them shall be destroyed from among their people. |
|

|
| Отже, дотримуйтеся повелінь Моїх, щоб не чинити за гидотними звичаями, за якими чинили раніше за вас, і щоб не опоганюватися ними. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I am the Lord your God. |

| оголоси всій громаді синів Ізраїлевих і скажи їм: будьте святими, бо святий Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy. |

|
| Бійтеся кожен матері своєї і батька свого і суботи Мої зберігайте. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Let every one of you reverence his father and his mother; and ye shall keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God. |
|

|

|
| Не звертайтеся до ідолів і богів відлитих не робіть собі. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Ye shall not follow idols, and ye shall not make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God. |
|

|
| Коли будете приносити Господу жертву мирну, то приносьте її, щоб придбати собі благовоління: | And if ye will sacrifice a peace-offering to the Lord, ye shall offer it acceptable from yourselves. |
|

|
| у день жертвоприношення вашого і на другий день слід з’їсти її, а те, що залишилося до третього дня, треба спалити на вогні; | In what day soever ye shall sacrifice it, it shall be eaten; and on the following day, and if any of it should be left till the third day, it shall be thoroughly burnt with fire. |

| якщо ж хто стане їсти її на третій день, це мерзенно, це не буде благоприємне; | And if it should be at all eaten on the third day, it is unfit for sacrifice: it shall not be accepted. |
|

|
| хто стане їсти її, той понесе на собі гріх, бо він осквернив святиню Господню, і знищиться душа та з народу свого. | And he that eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy things of the Lord; and the souls that eat it shall be destroyed from among their people. |

|
| Коли будете жати жнива на землі вашій, не дожинай до краю поля твого, і залишків від жнив твоїх не підбирай, | And when ye reap the harvest of your land, ye shall not complete the reaping of your field with exactness, and thou shalt not gather that which falls from thy reaping. |

|
| і виноградника твого не оббирай дочиста, і ягід, що попа́дали у винограднику, не підбирай; залиш це бідному і прибульцеві. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | And thou shalt not go over the gathering of thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather the remaining grapes of thy vineyard: thou shalt leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God. |

| Не крадіть, не говоріть неправди і не обманюйте одне одного. | Ye shall not steal, ye shall not lie, neither shall one bear false witness as an informer against his neighbour. |

| Не клянись ім’ям Моїм у неправді, і не знечещуй імені Бога твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | And ye shall not swear unjustly by my name, and ye shall not profane the holy name of your God: I am the Lord your God. |

| Не кривди ближнього твого і не грабуй. Плата найманцеві не повинна залишатися в тебе до ранку. | Thou shalt not injure thy neighbour, neither do thou rob him, neither shall the wages of thy hireling remain with thee until the morning. |
|

|
| Не лихослов глухого і перед сліпим не клади нічого, щоб не спіткнувся він; бійся [Господа] Бога твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | Thou shalt not revile the deaf, neither shalt thou put a stumbling-block in the way of the blind; and thou shalt fear the Lord thy God: I am the Lord your God. |

| Не чиніть неправди на суді; не будь упереджений до жебрака і не догоджай лицю великого; за правдою суди ближнього твого. | Thou shalt not act unjustly in judgment: thou shalt not accept the person of the poor, nor admire the person of the mighty; with justice shalt thou judge thy neighbour. |

| Не ходи пліткарем у народі твоєму і не повставай на життя ближнього твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | Thou shalt not walk deceitfully among thy people; thou shalt not rise up against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the Lord your God. |

| Не ворогуй на брата твого у серці твоєму; викрий ближнього твого, і не понесеш за нього гріха. | Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, so thou shalt not bear sin on his account. |
|

|
| Не мстися і не май злоби на синів народу твого, але люби ближнього твого, як самого себе. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | And thy hand shall not avenge thee; and thou shalt not be angry with the children of thy people; and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself; I am the Lord. |

|
| Уставів Моїх додержуйте; худоби твоєї не зводь з іншою породою; поля твого не засівай двома родами насіння; в одяг з різнорідних ниток, з вовни і льону, не одягайся. | Ye shall observe my law: thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with one of a different kind, and thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with diverse seed; and thou shalt not put upon thyself a mingled garment woven of two materials. |

| Якщо хто переспить з жінкою, а вона раба, заручена з чоловіком, але ще не викуплена, або свобода ще не дана їй, то слід покарати їх, але не смертю, тому що вона невільна: | And if any one lie carnally with a woman, and she should be a home-servant kept for a man, and she has not been ransomed, and her freedom has not been given to her, they shall be visited with punishment; but they shall not die, because she was not set at liberty. |

| нехай приведе він Господу до входу в скинію зібрання жертву за провину, барана в жертву за провину свою; | And he shall bring for his trespass to the Lord to the door of the tabernacle of witness, a ram for a trespass-offering. |

| і очистить його священик бараном за провину перед Господом від гріха, яким він згрішив, і прощений буде йому гріх, яким він згрішив. | And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, before the Lord, for the sin which he sinned; and the sin which he sinned shall be forgiven him. |

| Коли прийдете в землю, [яку Господь Бог дасть вам,] і посадите яке-небудь плодове дерево, то плоди його вважайте за необрізані: три роки слід вважати їх за необрізані, не слід їсти їх; | And whenever ye shall enter into the land which the Lord your God gives you, and shall plant any fruit-tree, then shall ye purge away its uncleanness; its fruit shall be three years uncleansed to you, it shall not be eaten. |

| а на четвертий рік усі плоди його повинні бути посвячені для свят Господніх; | And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, a subject of praise to the Lord. |
|

|
| на п’ятий же рік ви можете їсти плоди його і збирати собі всі здобутки його. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | And in the fifth year ye shall eat the fruit, its produce is an increase to you. I am the Lord your God. |
|

| Не їжте з кров’ю; не ворожіть і не гадайте. | Eat not on the mountains, nor shall ye employ auguries, nor divine by inspection of birds. |
|

|
| Не стрижіть голови вашої навкруги, і не псуй краю бороди твоєї. | Ye shall not make a round cutting of the hair of your head, nor disfigure your beard. |
|

|

|
| Заради померлого не робіть нарізів на тілі вашому і не наколюйте на собі письмен. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | And ye shall not make cuttings in your body for a dead body, and ye shall not inscribe on yourselves any marks. I am the Lord your God. |
|

| Не оскверняй дочки твоєї, допускаючи її до блуду, щоб не блудодіяла земля і не наповнилася земля розпустою. | Thou shalt not profane thy daughter to prostitute her; so the land shall not go a whoring, and the land be filled with iniquity. |

|
| Суботи Мої зберігайте і святилище Моє шануйте. Я Господь. | Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord. |
|

| Не звертайтеся до тих, хто викликає мертвих, і до чарівників не ходіть, і не доводьте себе до опоганення від них. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Ye shall not attend to those who have in them divining spirits, nor attach yourselves to enchanters, to pollute yourselves with them: I am the Lord your God. |

| Перед лицем сивого вставай і шануй лице старця, і бійся [Господа] Бога твого. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord your God. |

| Коли оселиться прибулець у землі вашій, не пригноблюйте його: | And if there should come to you a stranger in your land, ye shall not afflict him. |

|
| прибулець, який оселився у вас, нехай буде для вас те саме, що тубілець ваш; люби його, як себе; тому що і ви були прибульцями в землі Єгипетській. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | The stranger that comes to you shall be among you as the native, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. |

| Не чиніть неправди в суді, у мірі, у вазі й у вимірі: | Ye shall not act unrighteously in judgment, in measures and weights and scales. |

| нехай будуть у вас терези правильні, гирі правильні, ефа правильна і гин правильний. Я Господь, Бог ваш, Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської. | There shall be among you just balances and just weights and a just liquid measure. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. |

| скажи це синам Ізраїлевим: хто із синів Ізраїлевих і з прибульців, що живуть між ізраїльтянами, дасть дітей своїх Молоху, той нехай буде відданий на смерть: народ землі нехай поб’є його камінням; | Thou shalt also say to the children of Israel, If there shall be any of the children of Israel, or of those who have become proselytes in Israel, who shall give of his seed to Moloch, let him be surely put to death; the nation upon the land shall stone him with stones. |

| і Я зверну лице Моє на людину ту і знищу її з народу її за те, що вона дала дітей своїх Молохові, щоб осквернити святилище Моє і зганьбити святе ім’я Моє; | And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given of his seed to Moloch, to defile my sanctuary, and profane the name of them that are consecrated to me. |

| і якщо народ землі не зверне очей своїх на людину ту, коли вона дасть дітей своїх Молохові, і не умертвить її, | And if the natives of the land should in anywise overlook that man in giving of his seed to Moloch, so as not to put him to death; |

| то Я зверну лице Моє на людину ту і на рід її і винищу його з народу його, і всіх, хто блудить слідами її, щоб ходити блудно услід Молохові. | then will I set my face against that man and his family, and I will destroy him, and all who have been of one mind with him, so that he should go a whoring to the princes, from their people. |

| І якщо яка душа звернеться до тих, хто викликає мертвих і до чаклунів, щоб блудно ходити услід їм, то Я зверну лице Моє на ту душу і знищу її з народу її. | And the soul that shall follow those who have in them divining spirits, or enchanters, so as to go a whoring after them; I will set my face against that soul, and will destroy it from among its people. |

| Освячуйте себе і будьте святими, бо Я Господь, Бог ваш, [святий]. | And ye shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy. |

| Дотримуйтеся постанов Моїх і виконуйте їх, бо Я Господь, що освячує вас. | And ye shall observe my ordinances, and do them: I am the Lord that sanctifies you. |

|
| Хто буде лихословити батька свого або матір свою, той нехай буде відданий на смерть; батька свого і матір свою він лихословив: кров його на ньому. | Every man who shall speak evil of his father or of his mother, let him die the death; has he spoken evil of his father or his mother? he shall be guilty. |
|

|
| Якщо хто буде перелюбствувати з жінкою одруженою, якщо хто буде перелюбствувати з дружиною ближнього свого, — нехай будуть віддані на смерть і перелюбник і перелюбниця. | Whatever man shall commit adultery with the wife of a man, or whoever shall commit adultery with the wife of his neighbour, let them die the death, the adulterer and the adulteress. |

| Хто ляже з дружиною батька свого, той відкрив наготу батька свого: обоє вони нехай будуть віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них. | And if any one should lie with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness: let them both die the death, they are guilty. |

| Якщо хто ляже з невісткою своєю, то обоє вони нехай будуть віддані на смерть: мерзотність зробили вони, кров їхня на них. | And if any one should lie with his daughter-in-law, let them both be put to death; for they have wrought impiety, they are guilty. |

| Якщо хто ляже з чоловіком, як з жінкою, то обоє вони зробили мерзотність: нехай будуть віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них. | And whoever shall lie with a male as with a woman, they have both wrought abomination; let them die the death, they are guilty. |

| Якщо хто візьме собі дружину і матір її: це беззаконня; на вогні слід спалити його і їх, щоб не було беззаконня між вами. | Whosoever shall take a woman and her mother, it is iniquity: they shall burn him and them with fire; so there shall not be iniquity among you. |

| Хто змішається з худобою, того віддати на смерть, і худобу вбийте. | And whosoever shall lie with a beast, let him die the death; and ye shall kill the beast. |
|

|
| Якщо жінка піде до якої-небудь худоби, щоб злучитися з нею, то убий жінку і худобу: нехай будуть вони віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них. | And whatever woman shall approach any beast, so as to have connexion with it, ye shall kill the woman and the beast: let them die the death, they are guilty. |

| Якщо хто візьме сестру свою, дочку батька свого або дочку матері своєї, і побачить наготу її, і вона побачить наготу його: це сором, нехай будуть вони знищені перед очима синів народу свого; він відкрив наготу сестри своєї: гріх свій понесе він. | Whosoever shall take his sister by his father or by his mother, and shall see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness, it is a reproach: they shall be destroyed before the children of their family; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness, they shall bear their sin. |

| Якщо хто ляже з дружиною під час хвороби кровоочищення і відкриє наготу її, то він відкрив течу її, і вона відкрила течу крови своєї: обоє вони нехай будуть знищені з народу свого. | And whatever man shall lie with a woman that is set apart for a flux, and shall uncover her nakedness, he has uncovered her fountain, and she has uncovered the flux of her blood: they shall both be destroyed from among their generation. |

| Якщо хто візьме дружину брата свого: це огидно; він відкрив наготу брата свого, бездітними будуть вони. | Whoever shall take his brother's wife, it is uncleanness; he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall die childless. |

| Дотримуйтесь усіх уставів Моїх і всіх законів Моїх і виконуйте їх, — і не звергне вас із себе земля, в яку Я веду вас жити. | And keep ye all my ordinances, and my judgments; and ye shall do them, and the land shall not be aggrieved with you, into which I bring you to dwell upon it. |

| Відрізняйте худобу чисту від нечистої і птаха чистого від нечистого і не оскверняйте душ ваших худобою і птахами і всім, що плазує по землі, що визначив Я, як нечисте. | And ye shall make a distinction between the clean and the unclean cattle, and between clean and unclean birds; and ye shall not defile your souls with cattle, or with birds, or with any creeping things of the earth, which I have separated for you by reason of uncleanness. |

| тільки до близького родича свого, до матері своєї і до батька свого, до сина свого і дочки своєї, до брата свого | but they may mourn for a relative who is very near to them, for a father and mother, and sons and daughters, for a brother, |

| і до сестри своєї, дівчини, що живе при ньому і не була заміжня, можна йому доторкатися, не оскверняючи себе; | and for a virgin sister that is near to one, that is not espoused to a man; for these one shall defile himself. |
|

|
| і доторканням до кого б то не було в народі своєму не повинен він оскверняти себе, щоб не стати нечистим. | He shall not defile himself suddenly among his people to profane himself. |
|

|
| Вони не повинні голити голови своєї і підстригати краї бороди своєї і робити нарізи на тілі своєму. | And ye shall not shave your head for the dead with a baldness on the top; and they shall not shave their beard, neither shall they make gashes on their flesh. |

| Вони повинні бути святими Богові своєму і не повинні нечестити імені Бога свого, тому що вони приносять жертви Господу, хліб Богу своєму, і тому повинні бути святими. | They shall be holy to their God, and they shall not profane the name of their God; for they offer the sacrifices of the Lord as the gifts of their God, and they shall be holy. |

| Вони не повинні брати за себе блудницю і знечещену, не повинні брати і жінку, вигнану чоловіком своїм, бо вони святі [Господу] Богу своєму. | They shall not take a woman who is a harlot and profaned, or a woman put away from her husband; for he is holy to the Lord his God. |

| Святи́ його, бо він приносить хліб [Господу] Богу твоєму: нехай буде він у тебе святим, бо святий Я Господь, Який освячує вас. | And thou shalt hallow him; he offers the gifts of the Lord your God: he shall be holy, for I the Lord that sanctify them am holy. |

| Якщо дочка священика осквернить себе блудодіянням, то вона нечестить батька свого; вогнем слід спалити її. | And if the daughter of a priest should be profaned to go a whoring, she profanes the name of her father: she shall be burnt with fire. |

| Великий же священик з братів своїх, на голову якого полито єлей помазання, і який освячений, щоб облачатися у священні одежі, не повинен оголювати голови своєї і роздирати одежі своєї; | And the priest that is chief among his brethren, the oil having been poured upon the head of the anointed one, and he having been consecrated to put on the garments, shall not take the mitre off his head, and shall not rend his garments: |

| і ні до якого померлого не повинен він приступати: навіть дотиком до померлого батька свого і матері своєї він не повинен оскверняти себе. | neither shall he go in to any dead body, neither shall he defile himself for his father or his mother. |

| І від святилища він не повинен відходити і нечестити святилище Бога свого, бо освячення єлеєм помазання Бога його на ньому. Я Господь. | And he shall not go forth out of the sanctuary, and he shall not profane the sanctuary of his God, because the holy anointing oil of God is upon him: I am the Lord. |

| За дружину він повинен брати дівчину [з народу свого]; | He shall take for a wife a virgin of his own tribe. |

| вдову, або вигнану, або знечещену, [або] блудницю, не повинен він брати, але дівчину з народу свого повинен він брати за дружину; | But a widow, or one that is put away, or profaned, or a harlot, these he shall not take; but he shall take for a wife a virgin of his own people. |

|
| він не повинен ганьбити сімені свого в народі своєму, бо Я Господь [Бог], що освячує його. | And he shall not profane his seed among his people: I am the Lord that sanctifies him. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| скажи Аарону: ніхто з сімені твого в усі роди їх, у якого на тілі буде вада, не повинен приступати, щоб приносити хліб Богу своєму; | Say to Aaron, A man of thy tribe throughout your generations, who shall have a blemish on him, shall not draw nigh to offer the gifts of his God. |

| ніхто, у кого на тілі є вада, не повинен приступати, ні сліпий, ні кульгавий, ні потворний, | No man who has a blemish on him shall draw nigh; a man lame, blind, with his nose disfigured, or his ears cut, |

|

| хліб Бога свого з великих святинь і зі святинь він може їсти; | The gifts of God are most holy, and he shall eat of the holy things. |

| але до завіси не повинен він приходити і до жертовника не повинен приступати, тому що вада на ньому: не повинен він нечестити святилища Мого, бо Я Господь, що освячує їх. | Only he shall not approach the veil, and he shall not draw nigh to the altar, because he has a blemish; and he shall not profane the sanctuary of his God, for I am the Lord that sanctifies them. |

| скажи Аарону і синам його, щоб вони обережно поводилися зі святинями синів Ізраїлевих і не ганьбили святого імені Мого в тому, що вони посвячують Мені. Я Господь. | Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and let them take heed concerning the holy things of the children of Israel, so they shall not profane my holy name in any of the things which they consecrate to me: I am the Lord. |

| Скажи їм: якщо хто з усіх нащадків ваших в роди ваші, маючи на собі нечистоту, приступить до святинь, які посвячують сини Ізраїлеві Господу, то знищиться душа та від лиця Мого. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | Say to them, Every man throughout your generations, whoever of all your seed shall approach to the holy things, whatsoever the children of Israel shall consecrate to the Lord, while his uncleanness is upon him, that soul shall be cut off from me: I am the Lord your God. |

| той, хто доторкнеться до цього, нечистий буде до вечора і не повинен їсти святинь, раніше ніж омиє тіло своє водою; | whatsoever soul shall touch them shall be unclean until evening; he shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his body in water, |

| але коли зайде сонце і він очиститься, тоді може він їсти святині, бо це його їжа. | and the sun go down, and then he shall be clean; and then shall he eat of all the holy things, for they are his bread. |

|
| Мертвечини і роздертого звіром він не повинен їсти, щоб не осквернитися цим. Я Господь. | He shall not eat that which dies of itself, or is taken of beasts, so that he should be polluted by them: I am the Lord. |
|

|

|
| Нехай дотримуються вони повелінь Моїх, щоб не понести на собі гріха і не померти в ньому, коли порушать це. Я Господь [Бог], що освячує їх. | And they shall keep my ordinances, that they do not bear iniquity because of them, and die because of them, if they shall profane them: I am the Lord God that sanctifies them. |

| Ніхто сторонній не повинен їсти святині; хто оселився у священика і найманець не повинен їсти святині; | And no stranger shall eat the holy things: one that sojourns with a priest, or a hireling, shall not eat the holy things. |

|
| якщо ж священик купить собі чоловіка за срібло, то цей може їсти її; також і домашні його можуть їсти хліб його. | But if a priest should have a soul purchased for money, he shall eat of his bread; and they that are born in his house, they also shall eat of his bread. |

|

|
| Якщо дочка священика вийде заміж за стороннього, то вона не повинна їсти принесених святинь; | And if the daughter of a priest should marry a stranger, she shall not eat of the offerings of the sanctuary. |
|

|
13
|
| коли ж дочка священика буде вдовою, або розведеною, і дітей немає в неї, і повернеться в дім батька свого, як була в молодості своїй, тоді вона може їсти хліб батька свого; а сторонній ніхто не повинен їсти його. | And if the daughter of a priest should be a widow, or put away, and have no seed, she shall return to her father's house, as in her youth: she shall eat of her father's bread, but no stranger shall eat of it. |

|
| Хто помилково з’їсть що-небудь зі святині, той повинен віддати священику святиню і докласти до неї п’яту її частку. | And the man who shall ignorantly eat holy things, shall add the fifth part to it, and give the holy thing to the priest. |

|
| Священики самі не повинні ганьбити святині синів Ізраїлевих, які вони приносять Господу, | And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to the Lord. |
|
16
|
16
|
| і не повинні накликати на себе провину в злочині, коли будуть їсти святині свої, бо Я Господь, що освячує їх. | So should they bring upon themselves the iniquity of trespass in their eating their holy things: for I am the Lord that sanctifies them. |
|

17
|
| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

|
| оголоси Аарону і синам його і всім синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: якщо хто з дому Ізраїлевого, або із прибульців, [що оселилися] між ізраїльтянами, чи за якоюсь обітницею, або з ревности приносить жертву свою, яку приносять Господу у всепалення, | Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the congregation of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that abide among them in Israel, who shall offer his gifts according to all their confession and according to all their choice, whatsoever they may bring to the Lord for whole-burnt-offerings— |

| то, щоб цим придбати благовоління від Бога, жертва повинна бути без вад, чоловічої статі, з великої худоби, з овець і з кіз; | your free-will-offerings shall be males without blemish of the herds, or of the sheep, or of the goats. |
|

|
| ніякої тварини, на якій є вада, не приносьте [Господу], бо це не придбає вам благовоління. | They shall not bring to the Lord anything that has a blemish in it, for it shall not be acceptable for you. |
|
21
|
21
|
| І якщо хто приносить мирну жертву Господу, виконуючи обітницю, або з ревности, [або у свята ваші,] з великої худоби або з дрібної, то жертва повинна бути без вад, щоб бути угодною Богу: ніякої вади не повинно бути на ній; | And whatsoever man shall offer a peace-offering to the Lord, discharging a vow, or in the way of free-will-offering, or an offering in your feasts, of the herds or of the sheep, it shall be without blemish for acceptance: there shall be no blemish in it. |

| тварини сліпої, або пошкодженої, або потворної, або хворої, або коростявої, або паршивої, таких не приносьте Господу і в жертву не давайте їх на жертовник Господній; | One that is blind, or broken, or has its tongue cut out, or is troubled with warts, or has a malignant ulcer, or tetters, they shall not offer these to the Lord; neither shall ye offer any of them for a burnt-offering on the altar of the Lord. |

| тельця й агнця з кінцівками, надмірно довгими або короткими, у жертву ревности принести можеш; а якщо за обітницею, то це не угодно буде Богу; | And a calf or a sheep with the ears cut off, or that has lost its tail, thou shalt slay them for thyself; but they shall not be accepted for thy vow. |

| тварину, у якої ядра розчавлені, розбиті, відірвані або вирізані, не приносьте Господу й у землі вашій не робіть цього, | That which has broken testicles, or is crushed or gelt or mutilated,—thou shalt not offer them to the Lord, neither shall ye sacrifice them upon your land. |

| і з рук іноземців не приносьте всіх таких тварин у дар Богу вашому, бо на них пошкодження, порок на них: не придбають вони вам благовоління. | Neither shall ye offer the gifts of your God of all these things by the hand of a stranger, because there is corruption in them, a blemish in them: these shall not be accepted for you. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

|
| коли народиться теля, або ягня, або козеня, то сім днів воно має пробути при матері своїй, а від восьмого дня і далі буде благовгодне для приношення в жертву Господу; | As for a calf, or a sheep, or a goat, whenever it is born, then shall it be seven days under its mother; and on the eighth day and after they shall be accepted for sacrifices, a burnt-offering to the Lord. |

| але ні корови, ні вівці не заколюйте в один день з породженням її. | And a bullock and a ewe, it and its young, thou shalt not kill in one day. |

|
| Якщо приносите Господу жертву подяки, то приносьте її так, щоб вона придбала вам благовоління; | And if thou shouldest offer a sacrifice, a vow of rejoicing to the Lord, ye shall offer it so as to be accepted for you. |

|
| у той самий день слід з’їсти її, не залишайте від неї до ранку. Я Господь. | In that same day it shall be eaten; ye shall not leave of the flesh till the morrow: I am the Lord. |

|
| І дотримуйтеся заповідей Моїх і виконуйте їх. Я Господь. | And ye shall keep my commandments and do them. |

|
| Не ганьбіть святого імені Мого, щоб Я був святим серед синів Ізраїлевих. Я Господь, Який освячує вас, | And ye shall not profane the name of the Holy One, and I will be sanctified in the midst of the children of Israel. I am the Lord that sanctifies you, |

|
| Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської, щоб бути вашим Богом. Я Господь. | who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм про свята Господні, в які слід скликати священне зібрання. Ось свята Мої: | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, The feasts of the Lord which ye shall call holy assemblies, these are my feasts. |
|

|
3
|
| шість днів можна робити справи, а в сьомий день субота спокою, священне зібрання; ніякої справи не робіть; це субота Господня у всіх оселях ваших. | Six days shalt thou do works, but on the seventh day is the sabbath; a rest, a holy convocation to the Lord: thou shalt not do any work, it is a sabbath to the Lord in all your dwellings. |

|
| Ось свята Господні, священні зібрання, які ви повинні скликати у свій час: | These are the feasts to the Lord, holy convocations, which ye shall call in their seasons. |
|

|
| у перший місяць, у чотирнадцятий [день] місяця увечері Пасха Господня; | In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evening times is the Lord's passover. |
|
6
|
6
|
| і в п’ятнадцятий день того самого місяця свято опрісноків Господу; сім днів їжте опрісноки; | And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread. |
|

|
7
|
| у перший день нехай буде у вас священне зібрання; ніякої роботи не виконуйте; | And the first day shall be a holy convocation to you: ye shall do no servile work. |
|
8
|
8
|
| і протягом семи днів приносьте жертви Господу; у сьомий день також священне зібрання; ніякої роботи не виконуйте. | And ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy convocation to you: ye shall do no servile work. |

|
| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

|
| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: коли прийдете в землю, яку Я даю вам, і будете жати на ній жнива, то принесіть перший сніп жнив ваших до священика; | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye shall enter into the land which I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall ye bring a sheaf, the first-fruits of your harvest, to the priest; |

| він піднесе цей сніп перед Господом, щоб вам придбати благовоління; на другий день свята піднесе його священик; | and he shall lift up the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you. On the morrow of the first day the priest shall lift it up. |

| і в день возношення снопа принесіть у всепалення Господу агнця однолітнього, без вад, | And ye shall offer on the day on which ye bring the sheaf, a lamb without blemish of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord. |
|

13
|
| і з ним хлібного приношення дві десятих частини ефи пшеничного борошна, змішаного з єлеєм, у жертву Господу, у приємні пахощі, й узливання до неї чверть гина вина; | And its meat-offering two tenth portions of fine flour mingled with oil: it is a sacrifice to the Lord, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord, and its drink-offering the fourth part of a hin of wine. |

| ніякого нового хліба, ні сушених зерен, ні зерен сирих не їжте до того дня, в який принесете приношення Богу вашому: це вічна постанова в роди ваші у всіх оселях ваших. | And ye shall not eat bread, or the new parched corn, until this same day, until ye offer the sacrifices to your God: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings. |

| Відрахуйте собі від першого дня після свята, від того дня, у який приносите сніп потрясання, сім повних тижнів, | And ye shall number to yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day on which ye shall offer the sheaf of the heave-offering, seven full weeks: |

| до першого дня після сьомого тижня відрахуйте п’ятдесят днів, і тоді принесіть нове хлібне приношення Господу: | until the morrow after the last week ye shall number fifty days, and shall bring a new meat-offering to the Lord. |

| від осель ваших приносьте два хліби возношення, які повинні складатися з двох десятих частин ефи пшеничного борошна і повинні бути спечені кислі, як перший плід Господу; | Ye shall bring from your dwelling loaves, as a heave-offering, two loaves: they shall be of two tenth portions of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven of the first-fruits to the Lord. |

| разом із хлібами представте сім агнців без вад, однолітніх, і з великої худоби одного тельця і двох баранів [без вад]; нехай буде це у всепалення Господу, і хлібне приношення й узливання до них, у жертву, у приємні пахощі Господу. | And ye shall bring with the loaves seven unblemished lambs of a year old, and one calf of the herd, and two rams without blemish, and they shall be a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord: and their meat-offerings and their drink-offerings shall be a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. |

| Приготуйте також з отари кіз одного козла в жертву за гріх і двох однолітніх агнців у жертву мирну [разом із хлібом першого плоду]; | And they shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and two lambs of a year old for a peace-offering, with the loaves of the first-fruits. |

| священик повинен принести це, потрясаючи перед Господом, разом з хлібами потрясіння першого плоду і з двома агнцями, і це буде святинею Господу; священикові, [який приносить, це належить]; | And the priest shall place them with the loaves of the first-fruits an offering before the Lord with the two lambs, they shall be holy to the Lord; they shall belong to the priest that brings them. |

| і скликайте народ у цей день, священне зібрання нехай буде у вас, ніякої роботи не виконуйте: це постанова вічна у всіх оселях ваших у роди ваші. | And ye shall call this day a convocation: it shall be holy to you; ye shall do no servile work on it: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations in all your habitations. |

| Коли будете жати жниво на землі вашій, не дожинай до краю поля твого, коли жнеш, і залишок від жаття твого не підбирай; бідному і прибульцеві залиш це. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | And when ye shall reap the harvest of your land, ye shall not fully reap the remainder of the harvest of your field when thou reapest, and thou shalt not gather that which falls from thy reaping; thou shalt leave it for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God. |

| скажи синам Ізраїлевим: у сьомий місяць, у перший [день] місяця нехай буде у вас спокій, свято труб, священне зібрання [нехай буде у вас]; | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have a rest, a memorial of trumpets: it shall be to you a holy convocation. |

| ніякої роботи не виконуйте і приносьте жертву Господу. | Ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall offer a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| також у дев’ятий [день] сьомого місяця цього, день очищення, нехай буде у вас священне зібрання; смиряйте душі ваші і приносьте жертву Господу; | Also on the tenth day of this seventh month is a day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall humble your souls, and offer a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord. |

| ніякої справи не робіть у день цей, бо це день очищення, щоб очистити вас перед лицем Господа, Бога вашого; | Ye shall do no work on this self-same day: for this is a day of atonement for you, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God. |

| а всяка душа, що не смирить себе в цей день, знищиться з народу свого; | Every soul that shall not be humbled in that day, shall be cut off from among its people. |
|
30
|
30
|
| і якщо яка душа буде робити яку-небудь справу в день цей, Я знищу ту душу з народу її; | And every soul which shall do work on that day, that soul shall be destroyed from among its people. |
|

|
31
|
| ніякої справи не робіть: ця постанова вічна в роди ваші, в усіх оселях ваших; | Ye shall do no manner of work: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your habitations. |

|
| це для вас субота спокою, і смиряйте душі ваші, з вечора дев’ятого [дня] місяця; від вечора до вечора [десятого дня місяця] святкуйте суботу вашу. | It shall be a holy sabbath to you; and ye shall humble your souls, from the ninth day of the month: from evening to evening ye shall keep your sabbaths. |

| скажи синам Ізраїлевим: з п’ятнадцятого дня того самого сьомого місяця свято кущів, сім днів Господу; | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, there shall be a feast of tabernacles seven days to the Lord. |

| у перший день священне зібрання, ніякої роботи не виконуйте; | And on the first day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work. |
|

|
| протягом семи днів приносьте жертву Господу; у восьмий день священне зібрання нехай буде у вас, і приносьте жертву Господу: це віддання свята, ніякої роботи не виконуйте. | Seven days shall ye offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord, and the eighth-day shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord: it is a time of release, ye shall do no servile work. |

| Ось свята Господні, в які слід скликати священне зібрання, щоб приносити у жертву Господу всепалення, хлібне приношення, заколені жертви й узливання, кожне у свій день, | These are the feasts to the Lord, which ye shall call holy convocations, to offer burnt-offerings to the Lord, whole-burnt-offerings and their meat-offerings, and their drink-offerings, that for each day on its day: |

| крім субот Господніх і крім дарів ваших, і крім всіх обітниць ваших і крім усього, що приноситься з ревности вашої, що ви даєте Господу. | besides the sabbaths of the Lord, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides your free-will-offerings, which ye shall give to the Lord. |

| А в п’ятнадцятий день сьомого місяця, коли ви збираєте врожай землі, святкуйте свято Господнє сім днів: у перший день спокій і у восьмий день спокій; | And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month, when ye shall have completely gathered in the fruits of the earth, ye shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days; on the first day there shall be a rest, and on the eighth day a rest. |

| у перший день візьміть собі віття красивих дерев, віття пальмове і віття дерев широколистих і верб річкових, і веселіться перед Господом Богом вашим сім днів; | And on the first day ye shall take goodly fruit of trees, and branches of palm trees, and thick boughs of trees, and willows, and branches of osiers from the brook, to rejoice before the Lord your God seven days in the year. |

| і святкуйте це свято Господнє сім днів у році: це постанова вічна в роди ваші; у сьомий місяць святкуйте його; | It is a perpetual statute for your generations: in the seventh month ye shall keep it. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| накажи синам Ізраїлевим, щоб вони принесли тобі єлею чистого, вичавленого, для освітлення, щоб постійно горів світильник; | Charge the children of Israel, and let them take for thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to burn a lamp continually, |
|

|
3
|
| ззовні завіси ковчега одкровення в скинії зібрання Аарон [і сини його] повинні ставити його перед Господом з вечора до ранку завжди: це вічна постанова в роди ваші; | outside the veil in the tabernacle of witness; and Aaron and his sons shall burn it from evening until morning before the Lord continually, a perpetual statute throughout your generations. |

| на свічнику чистому повинні вони ставити світильник перед Господом завжди. | Ye shall burn the lamps on the pure lamp-stand before the Lord till the morrow. |
|

|
| І візьми пшеничного борошна і спечи з нього дванадцять хлібів; у кожному хлібі повинні бути дві десятих ефи; | And ye shall take fine flour, and make of it twelve loaves; each loaf shall be of two tenth parts. |
|

|
| і поклади їх у два ряди, по шість у ряд, на чистому столі перед Господом; | And ye shall put them in two rows, each row containing six loaves, on the pure table before the Lord. |
|

|
7
|
| і поклади на [кожен] ряд чистого ливану [і соли], і буде це при хлібі, у пам’ять, у жертву Господу; | And ye shall put on each row pure frankincense and salt; and these things shall be for loaves for a memorial, set forth before the Lord. |
|

|
| у кожен день суботи постійно слід класти їх перед Господом від синів Ізраїлевих: це завіт вічний; | On the sabbath-day they shall be set forth before the Lord continually before the children of Israel, for an everlasting covenant. |
|

|
9
|
| вони будуть належати Аарону і синам його, які будуть їсти їх на святому місці, бо це велика святиня для них із жертв Господніх: це постанова вічна. | And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat them in the holy place: for this is their most holy portion of the offerings made to the Lord, a perpetual statute. |

| і посадили його під варту, доки не буде оголошена їм воля Господня. | And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| виведи того, хто лихословив, геть зі стану, і всі, хто чув, нехай покладуть руки свої на голову його, і вся громада поб’є його камінням; | Bring forth him that cursed outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him. |
|

|
15
|
| і синам Ізраїлевим скажи: хто буде лихословити Бога свого, той понесе гріх свій; | And speak to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whosoever shall curse God shall bear his sin. |
|
16
|
16
|
| і хулитель ім’я Господнього повинен померти, камінням поб’є його вся громада: чи прибулець, чи тубілець стане хулити ім’я [Господнє], відданий буде на смерть. | And he that names the name of the Lord, let him die the death: let all the congregation of Israel stone him with stones; whether he be a stranger or a native, let him die for naming the name of the Lord. |

| Хто уб’є яку-небудь людину, той відданий буде на смерть. | And whosoever shall smite a man and he die, let him die the death. |
|

|
18
|
| Хто уб’є худобу, повинен заплатити за неї, худобу за худобу. | And whosoever shall smite a beast, and it shall die, let him render life for life. |
|

|
| Хто зробить ушкодження на тілі ближнього свого, тому слід зробити те саме, що він зробив: | And whosoever shall inflict a blemish on his neighbour, as he has done to him, so shall it be done to himself in return; |

|
| І сказав Мойсей синам Ізраїлевим; і вивели того, хто лихословив, геть зі стану, і побили його камінням, і зробили сини Ізраїлеві, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві. | And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones: and the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсею на горі Синаї, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses in the mount Sina, saying, |

| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: коли прийдете в землю, яку Я даю вам, тоді земля повинна покоїтися в суботу Господню; | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whensoever ye shall have entered into the land, which I give to you, then the land shall rest which I give to you, for its sabbaths to the Lord. |

| шість років засівай поле твоє і шість років обрізуй виноградник твій, і збирай плоди їх, | Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vine, and gather in its fruit. |

| а в сьомий рік буде субота спокою землі, субота Господня: поля твого не засівай і виноградника твого не обрізуй; | But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath, it shall be a rest to the land, a sabbath to the Lord: thou shalt not sow thy field, and thou shalt not prune thy vine. |

| що саме виросте на жниві твоєму, не пожинай, і грон з необрізаної лози твоєї не знімай; нехай буде це рік спокою землі; | And thou shalt not gather the spontaneous produce of thy field, and thou shalt not gather fully the grapes of thy dedication: it shall be a year of rest to the land. |

| і буде це упродовж суботи землі усім вам у їжу, тобі і рабові твоєму, і рабі твоїй, і найманцеві твоєму, і поселенцеві твоєму, що оселився у тебе; | And the sabbaths of the land shall be food for thee, and for thy man-servant, and for thy maid-servant, and thy hireling, and the stranger that abides with thee. |

| і худобі твоїй і звірам, які на землі твоїй, нехай будуть усі плоди її в їжу. | And for thy cattle, and for the wild beasts that are in thy land, shall every fruit of it be for food. |

| І нарахуй собі сім суботніх років, сім разів по сім років, щоб було у тебе в семи суботніх роках сорок дев’ять років; | And thou shalt reckon to thyself seven sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; and they shall be to thee seven weeks of years, nine and forty years. |

|
| і засурми трубою в сьомий місяць, у десятий [день] місяця, у день очищення засурміть трубою по всій землі вашій; | In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall make a proclamation with the sound of a trumpet in all your land; on the day of atonement ye shall make a proclamation with a trumpet in all your land. |

| і освятіть п’ятдесятий рік і оголосіть свободу на землі всім жителям її: нехай буде це у вас ювілей; і поверніться кожен у володіння своє, і кожен поверніться у своє плем’я. | And ye shall sanctify the year, the fiftieth year, and ye shall proclaim a release upon the land to all that inhabit it; it shall be given a year of release, a jubilee for you; and each one shall depart to his possession, and ye shall go each to his family. |

| П’ятдесятий рік нехай буде у вас ювілейний: не сійте і не жніть, що саме виросте на землі, і не знімайте ягід з необрізаної лози, | This is a jubilee of release, the year shall be to you the fiftieth year: ye shall not sow, nor reap the produce that comes of itself from the land, neither shall ye gather its dedicated fruits. |

| бо це ювілей: священним нехай буде він для вас; з поля їжте врожай його. | For it is a jubilee of release; it shall be holy to you, ye shall eat its fruits off the fields. |

| В ювілейний рік повертайтеся кожен у володіння своє. | In the year of the release even the jubilee of it, shall each one return to his possession. |
|

|
| Якщо будеш продавати що ближньому твоєму, або будеш купувати що у ближнього твого, не кривдьте одне одного; | And if thou shouldest sell a possession to thy neighbour, or if thou shouldest buy of thy neighbour, let not a man oppress his neighbour. |
|

|
| за розрахунком років після ювілею ти повинен купувати у ближнього твого, і за розрахунком років прибутку він повинен продавати тобі; | According to the number of years after the jubilee shalt thou buy of thy neighbour, according to the number of years of the fruits shall he sell to thee. |
|

|
| якщо багато залишається років, збільши ціну; а якщо мало років залишається, зменши ціну, бо за відповідну кількість років жнив він продає тобі. | According as there may be a greater number of years he shall increase the value of his possession, and according as there may be a less number of years he shall lessen the value of his possession; for according to the number of his crops, so shall he sell to thee. |

| Не кривдьте одне одного; бійся Бога твого, бо Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Let not a man oppress his neighbour, and thou shalt fear the Lord thy God: I am the Lord thy God. |
|

|
| Виконуйте постанови Мої, і зберігайте закони Мої і виконуйте їх, і будете жити спокійно на землі; | And ye shall keep all my ordinances, and all my judgments; and do ye observe them, and ye shall keep them, and dwell securely in the land. |
|

19
|
| і буде земля давати плід свій, і будете їсти досита, і будете жити спокійно на ній. | And the land shall yield her increase, and ye shall eat to fulness, and shall dwell securely in it. |
|
20
|
20
|
| Якщо скажете: що ж нам їсти в сьомий рік, коли ми не будемо ні сіяти, ні збирати врожаї наші? | And if ye should say, What shall we eat in this seventh year, if we do not sow nor gather in our fruits? |
|

|
| Я пошлю благословення Моє на вас у шостий рік, і він принесе врожаю на три роки; | Then will I send my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and the land shall produce its fruits for three years. |
|
22
|
22
|
| і будете сіяти у восьмий рік, але будете їсти врожаї старі до дев’ятого року; доки не вистигне врожай його, будете їсти старе. | And ye shall sow in the eighth year, and eat old fruits till the ninth year: until its fruit come, ye shall eat old fruits of the old. |
|

|
| Землю не слід продавати назавжди, бо Моя земля: ви прибульці і поселенці у Мене; | And the land shall not be sold for a permanence; for the land is mine, because ye are strangers and sojourners before me. |
|

|
| по всій землі володіння вашого дозволяйте викуп землі. | And in every land of your possession, ye shall allow ransoms for the land. |
|
25
|
25
|
| Якщо брат твій зубожіє і продасть від володіння свого, то прийде близький його родич і викупить продане братом його; | And if thy brother who is with thee be poor, and should have sold part of his possession, and his kinsman who is nigh to him come, then he shall redeem the possession which his brother has sold. |
|

|
| якщо ж нема кому за нього викупити, але сам він буде мати достаток і знайде, скільки потрібно на викуп, | And if one have no near kinsman, and he prosper with his hand, and he find sufficient money, even his ransom; |
|

27
|
| то нехай він розрахує роки продажу свого і поверне залишок тому, кому він продав, і вступить знову у володіння своє; | then shall he calculate the years of his sale, and he shall give what is due to the man to whom he sold it, and he shall return to his possession. |
|

|
| якщо ж не знайде рука його, скільки потрібно повернути йому, то продане ним залишиться у руках покупця до ювілейного року, а в ювілейний рік відійде воно, і він знову вступить у володіння своє. | But if his hand have not prospered sufficiently, so as that he should restore the money to him, then he that bought the possessions shall have them till the sixth year of the release; and it shall go out in the release, and the owner shall return to his possession. |

| Якщо хто продасть житловий будинок у місті, огородженому стіною, то викупити його можна до закінчення року від продажу його: протягом року викупити його можна; | And if any one should sell an inhabited house in a walled city, then there shall be the ransom of it, until the time is fulfilled: its time of ransom shall be a full year. |

| якщо ж не буде він викуплений до закінчення цілого року, то будинок, який у місті, що має стіну, залишиться назавжди у покупця його в роди його, і в ювілей не відійде від нього. | And if it be not ransomed until there be completed of its time a full year, the house which is in the walled city shall be surely confirmed to him that bought it, throughout his generations; and it shall not go out in the release. |

| А будинки в селищах, навколо яких нема стіни, слід вважати нарівні з полем землі: викуповувати їх [завжди] можна, і в ювілей вони відходять. | But the houses in the villages which have not a wall round about them, shall be reckoned as the fields of the country: they shall always be redeemable, and they shall go out in the release. |

| А міста левитів, будинки в містах володіння їх, левитам завжди можна викуповувати; | And the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities in their possession, shall be always redeemable to the Levites. |
|

|
| а хто з левитів не викупить, то проданий будинок у місті володіння їх у ювілей відійде, бо будинки в містах левитських складають їхнє володіння серед синів Ізраїлевих; | And if any one shall redeem a house of the Levites, then shall their sale of the houses of their possession go out in the release; because the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession in the midst of the children of Israel. |

| і поля навколо міст їхніх продавати не можна, бо це вічне володіння їх. | And the lands set apart for their cities shall not be sold, because this is their perpetual possession. |
|

| Якщо брат твій зубожіє і прийде в занепад у тебе, то підтримай його, чи прибулець він, або поселенець, щоб він жив з тобою; | And if thy brother who is with thee become poor, and he fail in resources with thee, thou shalt help him as a stranger and a sojourner, and thy brother shall live with thee. |

| не бери від нього лихви і прибутку і бійся Бога твого; [Я Господь,] щоб жив брат твій з тобою; | Thou shalt not receive from him interest, nor increase: and thou shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord: and thy brother shall live with thee. |

| срібла твого не віддавай йому в лихву і хліба твого не віддавай йому для одержання прибутку. | Thou shalt not lend thy money to him at interest, and thou shalt not lend thy meat to him to be returned with increase. |
|

|
| Я Господь, Бог ваш, Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської, щоб дати вам землю Ханаанську, щоб бути вашим Богом. | I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Chanaan, so as to be your God. |

| Коли зубожіє в тебе брат твій і буде проданий тобі, то не накладай на нього роботи рабської: | And if thy brother by thee be lowered, and be sold to thee, he shall not serve thee with the servitude of a slave. |
|

| він повинен бути у тебе як найманець, як поселенець; до ювілейного року нехай працює у тебе, | He shall be with thee as a hireling or a sojourner, he shall work for thee till the year of release: |

| а тоді нехай відійде він від тебе, сам і діти його з ним, і повернеться у плем’я своє, і вступить знову у володіння батьків своїх, | and he shall go out in the release, and his children with him; and he shall go to his family, he shall hasten back to his patrimony. |

| тому що вони — Мої раби, яких Я вивів із землі Єгипетської: не слід продавати їх, як продають рабів; | Because these are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; such an one shall not be sold as a common servant. |

| не пануй над ним з жорстокістю і бійся Бога твого. | Thou shalt not oppress him with labour, and shalt fear the Lord thy God. |
|

|
| А щоб раб твій і рабиня твоя були у тебе, то купуйте собі раба і рабиню в народів, які навколо вас; | And whatever number of men-servants and maid-servants thou shalt have, thou shalt purchase male and female servants from the nations that are round about thee. |

|
| також і з дітей поселенців, що оселилися у вас, можете купувати, і з племені їх, яке у вас, що народилося у них в землі вашій, і вони можуть бути вашою власністю; | And of the sons of the sojourners that are among you, of these ye shall buy and of their relations, all that shall be in your lands; let them be to you for a possession. |

| можете передавати їх у спадщину і синам вашим після себе, як маєток; вічно володійте ними, як рабами. А над братами вашими, синами Ізраїлевими, один над одним не володарюйте, не пануйте з жорстокістю. | And ye shall distribute them to your children after you, and they shall be to you permanent possessions for ever: but of your brethren the children of Israel, one shall not oppress his brother in labours. |

| Якщо прибулець або поселенець твій буде мати достаток, а брат твій перед ним зубожіє і продасться прибульцеві, що оселився у тебе, або кому-небудь із племені прибульця, | And if a stranger or sojourner with thee wax rich, and thy brother in distress be sold to the stranger or the sojourner that is with thee, or to a proselyte by extraction; |

| то після продажу можна викупити його; хто-небудь із братів його повинен викупити його, | after he is sold to him there shall be redemption for him, one of his brethren shall redeem him. |

| якщо ж мало залишається років до ювілейного року, то він повинен порахувати і за мірою років віддати за себе викуп. | And if but a little time be left of the years to the year of release, then shall he reckon to him according to his years, and shall pay his ransom |

| Він повинен бути у нього, як найманець, в усі роки; він не повинен панувати над ним з жорстокістю в очах твоїх. | as a hireling; he shall be with him from year to year; thou shalt not oppress him with labour before thee. |

| Якщо ж він не викупиться таким чином, то в ювілейний рік відійде сам і діти його з ним, | And if he do not pay his ransom accordingly, he shall go out in the year of his release, he and his children with him. |

| тому що сини Ізраїлеві Мої раби; вони Мої раби, яких Я вивів із землі Єгипетської. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | For the children of Israel are my servants: they are my attendants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. |

| Не робіть собі кумирів та ідолів, і стовпів не ставте у себе, і каменів з зображеннями не кладіть у землі вашій, щоб кланятися перед ними, бо Я Господь Бог ваш. | I am the Lord your God: ye shall not make to yourselves gods made with hands, or graven; neither shall ye rear up a pillar for yourselves, neither shall ye set up a stone for an object in your land to worship it: I am the Lord your God. |

| Суботи Мої додержуйте і святилище Моє шануйте: Я Господь. | Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord. |
|

|
| Якщо ви будете чинити за уставами Моїми і заповіді Мої будете зберігати і виконувати їх, | If ye will walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them, |
|
4
|
4
|
| то Я дам вам дощі у свій час, і земля дасть плоди свої, і дерева польові дадуть плід свій; | then will I give you the rain in its season, and the land shall produce its fruits, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. |
|

|
| і молотьба хліба буде досягати у вас збирання винограду, збирання винограду буде досягати посіву, і будете їсти хліб свій досита, і будете жити на землі [вашій] безпечно; | And your threshing time shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake your seed time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full; and ye shall dwell safely upon your land, and war shall not go through your land. |

| пошлю мир на землю [вашу], ляжете, і ніхто вас не потурбує, прожену лютих звірів із землі [вашої], і меч не пройде по землі вашій; | And I will give peace in your land, and ye shall sleep, and none shall make you afraid; and I will destroy the evil beasts out of your land, |

| і будете проганяти ворогів ваших, і впадуть вони перед вами від меча; | and ye shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you with slaughter. |
|

|
| п’ятеро вас проженуть сотню, і сотня з вас прожене десять тисяч, і впадуть вороги ваші перед вами від меча; | And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase tens of thousands; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. |

| зглянусь на вас [і благословлю вас], і плідними зроблю вас, і розмножу вас, і буду твердим у завіті Моїм з вами; | And I will look upon you, and increase you, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. |

| і будете їсти старе минулорічне, і викинете старе заради нового; | And ye shall eat that which is old and very old, and bring forth the old to make way for the new. |
|

|
| і поставлю оселю Мою серед вас, і душа Моя не погордує вами; | And I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you; |
|

|
| і буду ходити серед вас і буду вашим Богом, а ви будете Моїм народом. | and I will walk among you, and be your God, and ye shall be my people. |
|

|
| Я Господь Бог ваш, Який вивів вас із землі Єгипетської, щоб ви не були там рабами, і знищив кайдани ярма вашого, і повів вас з піднятою головою. | I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, where ye were slaves; and I broke the band of your yoke, and brought you forth openly. |

| то і Я зроблю з вами це: пошлю на вас жах, чахлість і гарячку, від яких стомляться очі і змучиться душа, і будете сіяти насіння ваше марно, і вороги ваші з’їдять його; | then will I do thus to you: I will even bring upon you perplexity and the itch, and the fever that causes your eyes to waste away, and disease that consumes your life; and ye shall sow your seeds in vain, and your enemies shall eat them. |

| відверну лице Моє від вас, і впадете перед ворогами вашими, і будуть панувати над вами вороги ваші, і побіжите, коли ніхто не буде гнатися за вами. | And I will set my face against you, and ye shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall pursue you; and ye shall flee, no one pursuing you. |

| Якщо і після всього цього не послухаєте Мене, то Я всемеро збільшу покарання за гріхи ваші, | And if ye still refuse to hearken to me, then will I chasten you yet more even seven times for your sins. |
|

| і зломлю горду завзятість вашу, і небо ваше зроблю, як залізо, і землю вашу, як мідь; | And I will break down the haughtiness of your pride; and I will make your heaven iron, and your earth as it were brass. |
|

20
|
| і марно буде виснажуватися сила ваша, і земля ваша не дасть плодів своїх, і дерева землі [вашої] не дадуть плодів своїх. | And your strength shall be in vain; and your land shall not yield its seed, and the tree of your field shall not yield its fruit. |
|

|
| Якщо ж [після цього] підете проти Мене і не захочете слухати Мене, то Я додам вам ударів усемеро за гріхи ваші: | And if after this ye should walk perversely, and not be willing to obey me, I will further bring upon you seven plagues according to your sins. |

| пошлю на вас звірів польових, які позбавлять вас дітей, знищать худобу вашу і вас зменшать, так що опустіють дороги ваші. | And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle: and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate. |

| Якщо і після цього не виправитесь і підете проти Мене, | And if hereupon ye are not corrected, but walk perversely towards me, |

| то і Я [в люті] піду проти вас і уражу вас усемеро за гріхи ваші, | I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will smite you seven times for your sins. |
|

25
|
| і наведу на вас мстивий меч у помсту за завіт; якщо ж ви сховаєтеся в містах ваших, то пошлю на вас моровицю, і віддані будете в руки ворога; | And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of my covenant, and ye shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and ye shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies. |

| хліб, що підкріплює людину, винищу у вас; десять жінок будуть пекти хліб ваш в одній печі і будуть віддавати хліб ваш на вагу; ви будете їсти і не будете ситі. | When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. |

| Якщо ж і після цього не послухаєте Мене і підете проти Мене, | And if hereupon ye will not obey me, but walk perversely towards me, |

| то і Я в гніві піду проти вас і покараю вас усемеро за гріхи ваші, | then will I walk with you with a froward mind, and I will chasten you sevenfold according to your sins. |
|

|
| і будете їсти плоть синів ваших, і плоть дочок ваших будете їсти; | And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. |
|

|
30
|
| розорю висоти ваші і зруйную стовпи ваші, і вивергну трупи ваші на уламки ідолів ваших, і гребуватиме душа Моя вами; | And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden images made with hands; and I will lay your carcases on the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you. |

| міста ваші зроблю пустелею, і спустошу святилища ваші, і не буду чути приємних пахощів [жертв] ваших; | And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savour of your sacrifices. |

|
| спустошу землю [вашу], так що здивуються щодо неї вороги ваші, що оселилися на ній; | And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it. |
|

|
| а вас розсію між народами й вийму вслід вам меч, і буде земля ваша порожня і міста ваші зруйновані. | And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate. |
|

| Тоді задовольнить себе земля за суботи свої в усі дні запустіння [свого]; коли ви будете в землі ворогів ваших, тоді буде спочивати земля і задовольнить себе за суботи свої; | Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation. |

|
| в усі дні запустіння [свого] буде вона спочивати, скільки не спочивала в суботи ваші, коли ви жили на ній. | And ye shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep its sabbaths, and the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation: it shall keep sabbaths which it kept not among your sabbaths, when ye dwelt in it. |

| Хто залишиться з вас, пошлю в серця їхні полохливість на землі ворогів їхніх, і шелест листка від вітру пожене їх, і побіжать, як від меча, і впадуть, коли ніхто їх не переслідує, | And to those who are left of you I will bring bondage into their heart in the land of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from war, and shall fall when none pursues them. |

| і спіткнуться один на одного, як від меча, між тим як ніхто не переслідує, і не буде у вас сили протистояти ворогам вашим; | And brother shall disregard brother as in war, when none pursues; and ye shall not be able to withstand your enemies. |
|

| і загинете між народами, і пожере вас земля ворогів ваших; | And ye shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you. |
|

|
| а хто залишиться з вас, вичахнуть за свої беззаконня в землях ворогів ваших і за беззаконня батьків своїх вичахнуть; | And those who are left of you shall perish, because of their sins, and because of the sins of their fathers: in the land of their enemies shall they consume away. |
|

|
| тоді зізнаються вони у беззаконні своїм, і в беззаконні батьків своїх, як вони чинили злочини проти Мене і йшли проти Мене, | And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected me, and that they have walked perversely before me, |
|

|
41
|
| за що і Я [у гніві] йшов проти них і ввів їх у землю ворогів їхніх; тоді скориться необрізане серце їх, і тоді потерплять вони за беззаконня свої. | and I walked with them with a perverse mind; and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies: then shall their uncircumcised heart be ashamed, and then shall they acquiesce in the punishment of their sins. |

| І Я згадаю завіт Мій з Яковом і завіт Мій з Ісааком, і завіт Мій з Авраамом згадаю, і землю згадаю; | And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraam will I remember. |

|
| тоді, коли земля залишена буде ними і буде задовольняти себе за суботи свої, спустівши від них, і вони будуть терпіти за своє беззаконня, за те, що нехтували закони Мої і душа їх гребувала постановами Моїми, | And I will remember the land, and the land shall be left of them; then the land shall enjoy her sabbaths, when it is deserted through them: and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquities, because they neglected my judgments, and in their soul loathed my ordinances. |

| і тоді, коли вони будуть у землі ворогів їхніх, — Я не знехтую ними і не погребую ними до того, щоб знищити їх, щоб зруйнувати завіт Мій з ними, бо Я Господь, Бог їх; | And yet not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I overlook them, nor did I loathe them so as to consume them, to break my covenant made with them; for I am the Lord their God. |

| згадаю для них завіт із предками, яких вивів Я з землі Єгипетської перед очима народів, щоб бути їхнім Богом. Я Господь. | And I will remember their former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage before the nations, to be their God; I am the Lord. |

| Ось постанови і повеління і закони, які постановив Господь між Собою і між синами Ізраїлевими на горі Синаї, через Мойсея. | These are my judgments and my ordinances, and the law which the Lord gave between himself and the children of Israel, in the mount Sina, by the hand of Moses. |

| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |

| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: якщо хто дає обітницю присвятити душу Господу за оцінкою твоєю, | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whosoever shall vow a vow as the valuation of his soul for the Lord, |
|

|
| то оцінка твоя чоловіку від двадцяти років до шістдесяти повинна бути п’ятдесят сиклів срібних, за сиклем священним; | the valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be—his valuation shall be fifty didrachms of silver by the standard of the sanctuary. |

|
| якщо ж це жінка, то оцінка твоя повинна бути тридцять сиклів; | And the valuation of a female shall be thirty didrachms. |
|

|
| від п’яти років до двадцяти оцінка твоя чоловікові повинна бути двадцять сиклів, а жінці — десять сиклів; | And if it be from five years old to twenty, the valuation of a male shall be twenty didrachms, and of a female ten didrachms. |
|

| а від місяця до п’яти років оцінка твоя чоловікові повинна бути п’ять сиклів срібла, а жінці оцінка твоя три сиклі срібла; | And from a month old to five years old, the valuation of a male shall be five didrachms, and of a female, three didrachms of silver. |
|

|
| від шістдесяти років і вище чоловіку оцінка твоя повинна бути п’ятнадцять сиклів срібла, а жінці — десять сиклів. | And if from sixty years old and upward, if it be a male, his valuation shall be fifteen didrachms of silver, and if a female, ten didrachms. |
|

|
| Якщо ж він бідний і не в силах віддати за оцінкою твоєю, то нехай представлять його священикові, і священик нехай оцінить його: відповідно до достатку того, хто дає обітницю, нехай оцінить його священик. | And if the man be too poor for the valuation, he shall stand before the priest; and the priest shall value him: according to what the man who has vowed can afford, the priest shall value him. |

| Якщо ж то буде худоба, яку приносять у жертву Господу, то усе, що дано Господу, повинно бути святим: | And if it be from the cattle that are offered as a gift to the Lord, whoever shall offer one of these to the Lord, it shall be holy. |
|

|
| не слід вимінювати його і заміняти добре гіршим, або погане добрим; якщо ж стане хто заміняти худобу на худобу, то і вона і заміна її буде святинею. | He shall not change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; and if he do at all change it, a beast for a beast, it and the substitute shall be holy. |

| Якщо ж то буде яка-небудь худоба нечиста, яку не приносять у жертву Господу, то слід представити худобу священикові, | And if it be any unclean beast, of which none are offered as a gift to the Lord, he shall set the beast before the priest. |
|

|
| і священик оцінить її, добра вона чи недобра, і як оцінить священик, так і повинно бути; | And the priest shall make a valuation between the good and the bad, and accordingly as the priest shall value it, so shall it stand. |
|

13
|
| якщо ж хто хоче викупити її, то нехай додасть п’яту частину до оцінки твоєї. | And if the worshipper will at all redeem it, he shall add the fifth part to its value. |
|

|
14
|
| Якщо хто освячує будинок свій у святиню Господу, то священик повинен оцінити його, добрий він чи недобрий, і як оцінить його священик, так і відбудеться; | And whatsoever man shall consecrate his house as holy to the Lord, the priest shall make a valuation of it between the good and the bad: as the priest shall value it, so shall it stand. |

| якщо ж той, хто посвятив, захоче викупити будинок свій, то нехай додасть п’яту частину срібла оцінки твоєї, і тоді буде його. | And if he that has sanctified it should redeem his house, he shall add to it the fifth part of the money of the valuation, and it shall be his. |
|

|
| Якщо поле зі свого володіння посвятить хто Господу, то оцінка твоя повинна бути за мірою посіву: за посів хомера ячменю п’ятдесят сиклів срібла; | And if a man should hallow to the Lord a part of the field of his possession, then the valuation shall be according to its seed, fifty didrachms of silver for a homer of barley. |

| якщо від ювілейного року посвячує хто поле своє, — повинно відбутися за оцінкою твоєю; | And if he should sanctify his field from the year of release, it shall stand according to his valuation. |
|

|
| якщо ж після ювілею посвячує хто поле своє, то священик повинен розрахувати срібло за кількістю років, що залишилися до ювілейного року, і слід зменшити від оцінки твоєї; | And if he should sanctify his field in the latter time after the release, the priest shall reckon to him the money for the remaining years, until the next year of release, and it shall be deducted as an equivalent from his full valuation. |

| якщо ж захоче викупити поле той, хто посвятив його, то нехай він додасть п’яту частину срібла до оцінки твоєї, і воно залишиться за ним; | And if he that sanctified the field would redeem it, he shall add to its value the fifth part of the money, and it shall be his. |
|

|
| якщо ж він не викупить поля, і буде продане поле іншій людині, то вже не можна викупити: | And if he do not redeem the field, but should sell the field to another man, he shall not after redeem it. |
|

|
| поле те, коли воно в ювілей відійде, буде святинею Господу, ніби поле закляте; священикові дістанеться воно у володіння. | But the field shall be holy to the Lord after the release, as separated land; the priest shall have possession of it. |
|
22
|
22
|
| А якщо хто посвятить Господу поле куплене, яке не з полів його володіння, | And if he should consecrate to the Lord of a field which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession, |
|
23
|
23
|
| то священик повинен розрахувати йому міру оцінки до ювілейного року, і повинен він віддати за розрахунком у той самий день, як святиню Господню; | the priest shall reckon to him the full valuation from the year of release, and he shall pay the valuation in that day as holy to the Lord. |
|
24
|
24
|
| поле ж у ювілейний рік перейде знову до того, у кого куплене, кому належить володіння тієї землі. | And in the year of release the land shall be restored to the man of whom the other bought it, whose the possession of the land was. |
|
25
|
25
|
| Всяка оцінка твоя повинна бути за сиклем священним, двадцять гер повинно бути у сиклі. | And every valuation shall be by holy weights: the didrachm shall be twenty oboli. |
|

|
26
|
| Тільки первістків із худоби, які за першістю належать Господу, не повинен ніхто посвячувати: чи віл то, або дрібна худоба, — Господні вони. | And every first-born which shall be produced among thy cattle shall be the Lord's, and no man shall sanctify it: whether calf or sheep, it is the Lord's. |

| Якщо ж худоба нечиста, то слід викупити за оцінкою твоєю і додати до того п’яту частину; якщо не викуплять, то слід продати за оцінкою твоєю. | But if he should redeem an unclean beast, according to its valuation, then he shall add the fifth part to it, and it shall be his; and if he redeem it not, it shall be sold according to its valuation. |

| Тільки все закляте, що під закляттям віддає людина Господу зі своєї власности, — чи людину, чи худобу, чи поле свого володіння, — не продається і не викуповується: усе закляте є велика святиня Господня; | And every dedicated thing which a man shall dedicate to the Lord of all that he has, whether man or beast, or of the field of his possession, he shall not sell it, nor redeem it: every devoted thing shall be most holy to the Lord. |

| усе закляте, що закляте від людей, не викуповується: воно повинне бути віддане на смерть. | And whatever shall be dedicated of men, shall not be ransomed, but shall be surely put to death. |
|

30
|
| І всяка десятина на землі з насіння землі і з плодів дерева належить Господу: це святиня Господня; | Every tithe of the land, both of the seed of the land, and of the fruit of trees, is the Lord's, holy to the Lord. |
|

|
31
|
| якщо ж хто захоче викупити десятину свою, то нехай додасть до ціни її п’яту частину. | And if a man should at all redeem his tithe, he shall add the fifth part to it, and it shall be his. |
|
32
|
32
|
| І всяку десятину з великої і дрібної худоби, з усього, що проходить під жезлом десяте, слід присвячувати Господу; | And every tithe of oxen, and of sheep, and whatsoever may come in numbering under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to the Lord. |
|
33
|
33
|
| не слід розбирати, добре те чи недобре, і не слід заміняти його; якщо ж хто замінить його, то і саме воно й заміна його буде святинею і не може бути викуплене. | Thou shalt not change a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; and if thou shouldest at all change it, its equivalent also shall be holy, it shall not be redeemed. |

| Ось заповіді, які заповів Господь Мойсеєві для синів Ізраїлевих на горі Синаї. | These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel in mount Sina. |
