Then spake Jesus to the multitudes and to his disciples,	(Заⷱ҇ ч҃г҃) Тогда̀ і҆и҃съ гл҃а къ наро́дѡмъ и҆ оу҆чн҃кѡ́мъ свои̑мъ,

saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat:	гл҃ѧ: на мѡѷсе́овѣ сѣда́лищи сѣдо́ша кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є:
3	3
all things therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, these observe and do: but do not ye after their works; for they say, and do not.	всѧ̑ оу҆̀бо, є҆ли̑ка а҆́ще рекꙋ́тъ ва́мъ блюстѝ, соблюда́йте и҆ твори́те: по дѣлѡ́мъ же и҆́хъ не твори́те: глаго́лютъ бо, и҆ не творѧ́тъ:

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they will not move them with their finger.	свѧзꙋ́ютъ бо бремена̀ тѧ̑жка и҆ бѣ́днѣ носи̑ма, и҆ возлага́ютъ на плєща̀ человѣ́чєска, пе́рстомъ же свои́мъ не хотѧ́тъ дви́гнꙋти и҆̀хъ.

But all their works they do to be seen of men: and they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,	Всѧ̑ же дѣла̀ своѧ̑ творѧ́тъ, да ви́дими бꙋ́дꙋтъ человѣ̑ки: разширѧ́ютъ же храни̑лища своѧ̑ и҆ велича́ютъ воскри̑лїѧ ри́зъ свои́хъ:

and love the chief place at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,	лю́бѧтъ же преждевозлега̑нїѧ на ве́черѧхъ, и҆ преждесѣда̑нїѧ на со́нмищихъ,
7	7
and the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.	и҆ цѣлова̑нїѧ на то́ржищихъ, и҆ зва́тисѧ ѿ человѣ̑къ: оу҆чи́телю, оу҆чи́телю.

But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your master, even Christ, and all ye are brethren.	Вы́ же не нарица́йтесѧ оу҆чи́тєлїе: є҆ди́нъ бо є҆́сть ва́шъ оу҆чт҃ль, хрⷭ҇то́съ: вси́ же вы̀ бра́тїѧ є҆стѐ:

And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, even he who is in heaven.	и҆ ѻ҆тца̀ не зови́те себѣ̀ на землѝ: є҆ди́нъ бо є҆́сть ѻ҆ц҃ъ ва́шъ, и҆́же на нб҃сѣ́хъ:

Neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, even the Christ.	нижѐ нарица́йтесѧ наста̑вницы: є҆ди́нъ бо є҆́сть наста́вникъ ва́шъ, хрⷭ҇то́съ.
11	11
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.	Бо́лїй же въ ва́съ да бꙋ́детъ ва́мъ слꙋга̀:
12	12
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled; and whosoever shall humble himself shall be exalted.	и҆́же бо вознесе́тсѧ, смири́тсѧ: и҆ смирѧ́ѧйсѧ вознесе́тсѧ.
13	13
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, even while for a pretense ye make long prayers: therefore ye shall receive greater condemnation.	(Заⷱ҇ ч҃д҃.) Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є, лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ затворѧ́ете црⷭ҇твїе нбⷭ҇ное пред̾ человѣ̑ки: вы́ бо не вхо́дите, ни входѧ́щихъ ѡ҆ставлѧ́ете вни́ти.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye enter not in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering in to enter.	Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є, лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ снѣда́ете до́мы вдови́цъ, и҆ вино́ю дале́че моли̑твы творѧ́ще [и҆ лицемѣ́рнѡ на до́лзѣ моли̑твы творитѐ]: сегѡ̀ ра́ди ли́шшее прїи́мете ѡ҆сꙋжде́нїе.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more a son of hell than yourselves.	Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є, лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ прехо́дите мо́ре и҆ сꙋ́шꙋ, сотвори́ти є҆ди́наго прише́лца: и҆ є҆гда̀ бꙋ́детъ, творитѐ є҆го̀ сы́на гее́нны сꙋгꙋ́бѣйша ва́съ.

Woe unto you, ye blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.	Го́ре ва́мъ, вожди̑ слѣпі́и, глаго́лющїи: и҆́же а҆́ще клене́тсѧ це́рковїю, ничесѡ́же є҆́сть: а҆ и҆́же клене́тсѧ зла́томъ церко́внымъ, до́лженъ є҆́сть.

Ye fools and blind: for which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?	Бꙋ́и и҆ слѣпі́и, что́ бо бо́лѣе є҆́сть, зла́то ли, и҆лѝ це́рковь, свѧтѧ́щаѧ зла́то;
18	18
And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it, he is a debtor.	И҆: и҆́же а҆́ще клене́тсѧ ѻ҆лтаре́мъ, ничесо́же є҆́сть: а҆ и҆́же клене́тсѧ да́ромъ, и҆́же верхꙋ̀ є҆гѡ̀, до́лженъ є҆́сть.
19	19
Ye fools and blind: for which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?	Бꙋ́и и҆ слѣпі́и, что́ бо бо́лѣе, да́ръ ли, и҆лѝ ѻ҆лта́рь, свѧтѧ́й да́ръ;
20	20
He therefore that sweareth by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.	И҆́же оу҆̀бо клене́тсѧ ѻ҆лтаре́мъ, клене́тсѧ и҆́мъ и҆ сꙋ́щимъ верхꙋ̀ є҆гѡ̀:
21	21
And he that sweareth by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that hath dwelt therein.	и҆ и҆́же клене́тсѧ це́рковїю, клене́тсѧ є҆́ю и҆ живꙋ́щимъ въ не́й:
22	22
And he that sweareth by the heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.	и҆ клены́йсѧ нб҃се́мъ клене́тсѧ прⷭ҇то́ломъ бж҃їимъ и҆ сѣдѧ́щимъ на не́мъ.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye tithe mint and anise and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law, justice, and mercy, and faith: these ye ought to have done, and not to leave the other undone.	(Заⷱ҇ ч҃е҃.) Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є, лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ ѡ҆десѧ́тствꙋете мѧ́твꙋ и҆ ко́пръ и҆ кѵ́мїнъ, и҆ ѡ҆ста́висте вѧ̑щшаѧ зако́на, сꙋ́дъ и҆ млⷭ҇ть и҆ вѣ́рꙋ: сїѧ̑ (же) подоба́ше твори́ти, и҆ ѻ҆́нѣхъ не ѡ҆ставлѧ́ти.

Ye blind guides, that strain out the gnat, and swallow the camel!	Вожди̑ слѣпі́и, ѡ҆цѣжда́ющїи комары̀, велблꙋ́ды же пожира́юще.
25	25
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full from extortion and unrighteousness.	Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ ѡ҆чища́ете внѣ́шнее стклѧ́ницы и҆ блю́да, внꙋтрьꙋ́дꙋ же сꙋ́ть по́лни хище́нїѧ и҆ непра́вды:
26	26
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside of the cup and of the platter, that the outside of them may become clean also.	фарїсе́е слѣпы́й, ѡ҆чи́сти пре́жде внꙋ́треннее стклѧ́ницы и҆ блю́да, да бꙋ́детъ и҆ внѣ́шнее и҆́ма чи́сто.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.	Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є, лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ подо́битесѧ гробѡ́мъ пова́плєнымъ, и҆̀же внѣꙋ́дꙋ оу҆̀бо ꙗ҆влѧ́ютсѧ красны̀, внꙋтрьꙋ́дꙋ же по́лни сꙋ́ть косте́й ме́ртвыхъ и҆ всѧ́кїѧ нечистоты̀:

Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but inwardly ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.	та́кѡ и҆ вы̀, внѣꙋ́дꙋ оу҆́бѡ ꙗ҆влѧ́етесѧ человѣ́кѡмъ пра́ведни, внꙋтрьꙋ́дꙋ же є҆стѐ по́лни лицемѣ́рїѧ и҆ беззако́нїѧ.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye build the sepulchers of the prophets, and garnish the tombs of the righteous,	(Заⷱ҇ ч҃ѕ҃.) Го́ре ва́мъ, кни́жницы и҆ фарїсе́є, лицемѣ́ри, ꙗ҆́кѡ зи́ждете гро́бы прⷪ҇ро́чєскїѧ, и҆ кра́сите ра̑ки првⷣныхъ,

and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we should not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.	и҆ глаго́лете: а҆́ще бы́хомъ бы́ли во дни̑ ѻ҆тє́цъ на́шихъ, не бы́хомъ оу҆́бѡ ѡ҆́бщницы и҆̀мъ бы́ли въ кро́ви прⷪ҇рѡ́къ:

Wherefore ye witness to yourselves, that ye are sons of them that slew the prophets.	тѣ́мже са́ми свидѣ́телствꙋете себѣ̀, ꙗ҆́кѡ сы́нове є҆стѐ и҆зби́вшихъ прⷪ҇ро́ки:
32	32
Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.	и҆ вы̀ и҆спо́лните мѣ́рꙋ ѻ҆тє́цъ ва́шихъ.
33	33
Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?	Ѕмїѧ̑, порождє́нїѧ є҆хі́днѡва, ка́кѡ оу҆бѣжитѐ ѿ сꙋда̀ (ѻ҆гнѧ̀) гее́нскагѡ;

Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them shall ye kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city:	Сегѡ̀ ра́ди, сѐ, а҆́зъ послю̀ къ ва́мъ прⷪ҇ро́ки и҆ премⷣры и҆ кни́жники: и҆ ѿ ни́хъ оу҆бїе́те и҆ ра́спнете, и҆ ѿ ни́хъ бїе́те на со́нмищихъ ва́шихъ, и҆ и҆зжене́те ѿ гра́да во гра́дъ:

that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous unto the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom ye slew between the sanctuary and the altar.	ꙗ҆́кѡ да прїи́детъ на вы̀ всѧ́ка кро́вь првⷣна, пролива́емаѧ на землѝ, ѿ кро́ве а҆́велѧ првⷣнагѡ до кро́ве заха́рїи сы́на варахі́ина, є҆го́же оу҆би́сте междꙋ̀ це́рковїю и҆ ѻ҆лтаре́мъ.

Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.	А҆ми́нь гл҃ю ва́мъ: (ꙗ҆́кѡ) прїи́дꙋтъ всѧ̑ сїѧ̑ на ро́дъ се́й.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chicks under her wings, and ye would not!	І҆ерⷭ҇ли́ме, і҆ерⷭ҇ли́ме, и҆зби́вый прⷪ҇ро́ки и҆ ка́менїемъ побива́ѧй пѡ́сланныѧ къ тебѣ̀, колькра́ты восхотѣ́хъ собра́ти ча̑да твоѧ̑, ꙗ҆́коже собира́етъ ко́кошъ птенцы̀ своѧ̑ под̾ крилѣ̑, и҆ не восхотѣ́сте;

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.	Сѐ, ѡ҆ставлѧ́етсѧ ва́мъ до́мъ ва́шъ пꙋ́стъ.
39	39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.	Гл҃ю бо ва́мъ: (ꙗ҆́кѡ) не и҆́мате менѐ ви́дѣти ѿсе́лѣ, до́ндеже рече́те: блгⷭ҇ве́нъ грѧды́й во и҆́мѧ гдⷭ҇не.
