Chapter 31
1
1
Thus has the Lord said concerning Moab, Woe to Nabau! for it has perished: Cariathaim is taken: Amath and Agath are put to shame.
2
2
Тaкw речE гDь: њбрэт0хъ теплотY [Е#вр.: њбрэт0ша благодaть.] въ пустhни со и3зги1бшими t мечA: и3ди1те и3 не потреби1те ї}лz, There is no longer any healing for Moab, nor glorying in Esebon: he has devised evils against her: we have cut her off from being a nation, and she shall be completely still: after thee shall go a sword;
3
3
гDь и3здалeча kви1тсz є3мY: люб0вію вёчною возлюби1хъ тS, тогw2 рaди вовлек0хъ тS въ щедрHты. for there is a voice of men crying out of Oronaim, destruction and great ruin.
4
4
Moab is ruined, proclaim it to Zogora:
5
5
Е#щE насади1те віногрaды въ горЁ самарjйстэй, насаждaюще насади1те и3 похвали1те. for Aloth is filled with weeping: one shall go up weeping by the way of Oronaim; ye have heard a cry of destruction.
6
6
Ћкw є4сть дeнь воззвaніz tвэщавaющихъ въ горaхъ є3фрeмовыхъ: востaните и3 взhдите въ сіHнъ ко гDеви бGу нaшему: Flee ye, and save your lives, and ye shall be as a wild ass in the desert.
7
7
ћкw тaкw речE гDь їaкwву: возвесели1тесz весeліемъ и3 воскли1кните на главY kзhкwвъ: слhшано сотвори1те и3 похвали1те, рцhте: сп7сE гDь лю1ди сво‰, њстaнокъ ї}левъ. Since thou hast trusted in thy strong-hold, therefore thou shalt be taken: and Chamos shall go forth into captivity, and his priests, and his princes together.
8
8
And destruction shall come upon every city, it shall by no means escape; the valley also shall perish, and the plain country shall be completely destroyed, as the Lord has said.
9
9
Set marks upon Moab, for she shall be touched with a plague-spot, and all her cities shall become desolate; whence shall there be an inhabitant for her?
10
10
Слhшите, kзhцы, сл0во гDне, и3 возвэсти1те во џстровэхъ дaльнихъ и3 рцhте: развёzвый ї}лz соберeтъ є3го2 и3 снабди1тъ є3го2, ћкw пaстырь стaдо своE. Cursed is the man that does the works of the Lord carelessly, keeping back his sword from blood.
11
11
Ћкw и3збaви гDь їaкwва и3 и3з8sтъ є3го2 t руки2 си1льнэйшихъ є3гw2. Moab has been at ease from a child, and trusted in his glory; he has not poured out his liquor from vessel to vessel, and has not gone into banishment, therefore his taste remained in him, and his smell departed not.
12
12
И# пріи1дутъ и3 возвеселsтсz въ горЁ сіHнъ, и3 пріи1дутъ ко бlготaмъ гDнимъ, на зeмлю пшени1цы и3 вінA и3 плодHвъ, и3 скотHвъ и3 nвнHвъ: и3 бyдетъ душA и4хъ ћкоже дрeво плодови1то, и3 не взaлчутъ ктомY. Therefore, behold, his days come, saith the Lord, when I shall send upon him bad leaders, and they shall lead him astray, and they shall utterly break in pieces his possessions, and shall cut his horns asunder.
13
13
ТогдA возрaдуютсz дэви6цы въ собрaніи ю4ношей, и3 стaрцы возрaдуютсz: и3 њбращY плaчь и4хъ на рaдость, и3 ўтёшу и5хъ, и3 сотворю2 и5хъ вeселы. And Moab shall be ashamed of Chamos, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bæthel their hope, having trusted in them.
14
14
How will ye say, We are strong, and men strong for war?
15
15
Тaкw речE гDь: глaсъ въ рaмэ слhшанъ бhсть плaча и3 рыдaніz и3 в0плz: рахи1ль плaчущисz ч†дъ свои1хъ, и3 не хотsше ўтёшитисz, ћкw не сyть. Moab is ruined, even his city, and his choice young men have gone down to slaughter.
16
16
Тaкw речE гDь: да почjетъ глaсъ тв0й t плaча и3 џчи твои2 t слeзъ, ћкw є4сть мздA дэлHмъ твои6мъ, гlетъ гDь, и3 возвратsтсz t земли2 врaжіz: The day of Moab is near at hand, and his iniquity moves swiftly to vengeance.
17
17
Shake the head at him, all ye that are round about him; all of you utter his name; say ye, How is the glorious staff broken to pieces, the rod of magnificence!
18
18
Слhшz слhшахъ є3фрeма плaчуща: наказaлъ мS є3си2, (гDи,) и3 наказaхсz: ѓзъ ћкоже телeцъ не научи1хсz: њбрати1 мz, и3 њбращyсz, ћкw ты2 є3си2 гDь бGъ м0й: Come down from thy glory, and sit down in a damp place: Dæbon shall be broken, because Moab is destroyed: there has gone up against thee one to ravage thy strong-hold.
19
19
S. Stand by the way, and look, thou that dwellest in Arer; and ask him that is fleeing, and him that escapes, and say, What has happened?
20
20
Сhнъ любeзенъ мнЁ є3фрeмъ, nтрочA питёющеесz [нёжное], понeже словесA мо‰ въ нeмъ, пaмzтію воспомzнY и5: тогw2 рaди потщaхсz њ нeмъ, ми1луzй поми1лую є3го2, речE гDь. Moab is put to shame, because he is broken: howl and cry; proclaim in Arnon, that Moab has perished.
21
21
Постaви себE самого2, сіHне, стрaжу, сотвори2 мучeніе, напрaви сeрдце твоE на пyть прaвъ, и4мже ходи1лъ є3си2: возврати1сz, дэви1це ї}лева, њбрати1сz во грaды тво‰ рыдaющи. And judgment is coming against the land of Misor, upon Chelon, and Rephas, and Mophas,
22
22
Док0лэ tвращaешисz, дщи2 њбезчeствованаz; ћкw создA гDь спcніе въ насаждeніе н0во, въ нeмже спcніи њбhдутъ человёцы. and upon Dæbon, and upon Nabau, and upon the house of Dæthlathaim,
23
23
Ћкw тaкw речE гDь: є3щE рекyтъ сл0во сіE въ земли2 їудeйстэй и3 во градёхъ є3S, є3гдA возвращY преселeніе є3гw2: блгcвeнъ гDь на првdнэй горЁ с™ёй своeй: and upon Cariathaim, and upon the house of Gæmol, and upon the house of Maon,
24
24
и3 живyщіи во градёхъ їyдиныхъ и3 во всeй земли2 є3гw2, кyпнw со земледёлцемъ, и3 вознесeтсz во стaдэ. and upon Carioth, and upon Bosor, and upon all the cities of Moab, far and near.
25
25
The horn of Moab is broken, and his arm is crushed.
26
26
Тогw2 рaди востaхъ t снA и3 ви1дэхъ, и3 с0нъ ми2 слaдокъ бhсть. Make ye him drunk; for he has magnified himself against the Lord: and Moab shall clap with his hand, and shall be also himself a laughing-stock.
27
27
For surely Israel was to thee a laughing-stock, and was found among thy thefts, because thou didst fight against him.
28
28
И# бyдетъ, ћкоже бдёхъ на нS потреби1ти и3 њѕл0бити, тaкw бдёти бyду њ ни1хъ, є4же созидaти и3 насаждaти, речE гDь. The inhabitants of Moab have left the cities, and dwelt in rocks; they have become as doves nestling in rocks, at the mouth of a cave.
29
29
Въ ты6z дни6 не рекyтъ ктомY: nтцы2 kд0ша ки6слаz, ґ зyбы дётемъ њск0минишасz: And I have heard of the pride of Moab, he has greatly heightened his pride and his haughtiness, and his heart has been lifted up.
30
30
But I know his works: is it not enough for him? has he not done thus?
31
31
Therefore howl ye for Moab on all sides; cry out against the shorn men in a gloomy place. I will weep for thee,
32
32
O vine of Aserema, as with the weeping of Jazer: thy branches are gone over the sea, they reached the cities of Jazer: destruction has come upon thy fruits, and upon thy grape-gatherers.
33
33
Joy and gladness have been utterly swept off the land of Moab: and though there was wine in thy presses, in the morning they trod it not, neither in the evening did they raise the cry of joy.
34
34
и3 не научи1тъ кjйждо бли1жнzго своего2 и3 кjйждо брaта своего2, глаг0лz: познaй гDа: ћкw вси2 познaютъ мS t мaла дaже и3 до вели1кагw и4хъ: ћкw млcтивъ бyду непрaвдамъ и4хъ и3 грэх0въ и4хъ не помzнY ктомY. From the cry of Esebon even to Ætam their cities uttered their voice, from Zogor to Oronaim, and their tidings as a heifer of three years old, for the water also of Nebrin shall be dried up.
35
35
And I will destroy Moab, saith the Lord, as he comes up to the altar, and burns incense to his gods.
36
36
Тaкw речE гDь, дaвый с0лнце во свётъ днE, лунY и3 ѕвёзды на свётъ н0щи, и3 в0пль на м0ри, и3 возшумёша вHлны є3гw2, гDь вседержи1тель и4мz є3мY. Therefore the heart of Moab shall sound as pipes, my heart shall sound as a pipe for the shorn men; forasmuch as what every man has gained has perished from him.
37
37
6. They shall all have their heads shaved in every place, and every beard shall be shaved; and all hands shall beat the breasts, and on all loins shall be sackcloth.
38
38
СE, днjе грzдyтъ, речE гDь, и3 сози1ждетсz грaдъ гDеви t столпA ґнамеи1лz до врaтъ ўг0лныхъ: And on all the housetops of Moab, and in his streets shall be mourning: for I have broken him, saith the Lord, as a vessel, which is useless.
39
39
How has he changed! how has Moab turned his back! Moab is put to shame, and become a laughing-stock, and an object of anger to all that are round about him.
40
40
и3 всю2 ю3д0ль мeртвыхъ и3 пeпела, и3 вeсь ґссаримHfъ дaже до водотeчи кeдрскіz, дaже до ќгла к0ній врaтъ вост0чныхъ, њсщ7eніе гDеви, и3 ктомY не и3ст0ргнетсz и3 не потреби1тсz дaже до вёка. For thus said the Lord;
