| И# бhсть, є3гдA престA їеремjа глаг0лz къ лю1демъ вс‰ словесA гDнz, ±же послA гDь къ ни6мъ, | In the fourth Year of Joakim son of Josias king of Juda, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |

| и3 речE ґзарjа сhнъ маасeевъ и3 їwанaнъ сhнъ карjевъ и3 вси2 мyжіе през0рливіи ко їеремjи, глаг0люще: лжeши, не послa тz къ нaмъ гDь бGъ нaшъ глаг0лати: не входи1те во є3гЂпетъ жи1ти тaмw: | Take thee a roll of a book, and write upon it all the words which I spoke to thee against Jerusalem, and against Juda, and against all the nations, from the day when I spoke to thee, from the days of Josias king of Juda, even to this day. |

| но варyхъ сhнъ нирjинъ под8ущaетъ тS на нaсъ, да нaсъ вдaси въ рyцэ халдє1йстэ ўмори1ти нaсъ и3 превести2 нaсъ въ вавmлHнъ. | Perhaps the house of Juda will hear all the evils which I purpose to do to them; that they may turn from their evil way; and so I will be merciful to their iniquities and their sins. |

| И# не послyша їwанaнъ и3 вси2 воевHды си1лы и3 вси2 лю1діе (не послyшаша) глaса гDнz, є4же жи1ти на земли2 їyдинэ. | So Jeremias called Baruch the son of Nerias: and he wrote from the mouth of Jeremias all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken to him, on a roll of a book. |

| И# взS їwанaнъ и3 вси2 воевHды си1лы вс‰ њстaвшыz ї{дины, возвращє1ныz t всёхъ kзhкwвъ, ѓможе разсёzни бhша, є4же жи1ти на земли2 їyдинэ, | And Jeremias commanded Baruch, saying, I am in prison; I cannot enter into the house of the Lord: |

| мyжы си6льныz и3 жєны2, и3 младeнцы и3 дщє1ри царє1вы, и3 дyшы, ±же њстaви навузардaнъ воев0да си1лы со годолjемъ сhномъ ґхікaмовымъ сhна сафaнова, и3 їеремjю прbр0ка, и3 варyха сhна нирjина, | so thou shalt read in this roll in the ears of the people in the house of the Lord, on the fast day; and in the ears of all Juda that come out of their cities, thou shalt read to them. |

| и3 внид0ша во є3гЂпетъ, ћкw не послyшаша глaса гDнz, и3 внид0ша во тафнaсъ. | Peradventure their supplication will come before the Lord, and they will turn from their evil way: for great is the wrath and the anger of the Lord, which he has pronounced against this people. |

| И# бhсть сл0во гDне ко їеремjи во тафнaсэ гlz: | And Baruch did according to all that Jeremias commanded him—reading in the book the words of the Lord in the Lord's house. |

| возми2 себЁ кaмєни вели6ки и3 скрhй | пред8 враты2 д0му фараHнz во тафнaсэ пред8 nчи1ма мужeй їyдиныхъ, и3 речeши къ ни6мъ: | And it came to pass in the eighth year of king Joakim, in the ninth month, all the people in Jerusalem, and the house of Juda, proclaimed a fast before the Lord. |

| тaкw гlетъ гDь си1лъ, бGъ ї}левъ: сE, ѓзъ послю2 и3 приведY навуходон0сора царS вавmлHнска рабA моего2, и3 постaвитъ прест0лъ св0й на кaменіихъ си1хъ, и5хже скрhлъ є3си2, и3 воздви1гнетъ nрyжіе своE на нS, | And Baruch read in the book the words of Jeremias in the house of the Lord, in the house of Gamarias son of Saphan the scribe, in the upper court, in the entrance of the new gate of the house of the Lord, and in the ears of all the people. |

| и3 вни1детъ и3 порази1тъ зeмлю є3гЂпетску: и5хже на смeрть, на смeрть, и3 и5хже на преселeніе, на преселeніе, ґ и5хже под8 мeчь, под8 мeчь: | And Michæas the son of Gamarias the son of Saphan heard all the words of the Lord, out of the book. |

| и3 пожжeтъ nгнeмъ д0мы богHвъ и4хъ, и3 пожжeтъ |, и3 пресели1тъ |, и3 покрhетъ зeмлю є3гЂпетскую, ћкоже покрывaетсz пастyхъ ри1зою своeю: и3 и3зhдетъ tтyду съ ми1ромъ | And he went down to the king's house, into the house of the scribe: and, behold, there were sitting there all the princes, Elisama the scribe, and Dalæas the son of Selemias, and Jonathan the son of Acchobor, and Gamarias the son of Saphan, and Sedekias the son of Ananias, and all the princes. |

| и3 сокруши1тъ столпы2 и3ліуп0лz [с0лнечнагw грaда], и4же во є3гЂптэ, и3 д0мы богHвъ є3гЂпетскихъ пожжeтъ nгнeмъ. | And Michæas reported to them all the words which he had heard Baruch reading in the ears of the people. |
