Chapter 4
1
1
And again he began to teach by the seaside. And there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into the boat, and sat in the sea; and all the multitude was by the sea on the land.
2
2
And he taught them many things in parables, and said unto them in his teaching,
3
3
Hearken: Behold, the sower went forth to sow:
4
4
5: and it came to pass, as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured it.
5
5
друг0е же падE при кaмени, и3дёже не и3мsше земли2 мн0ги, и3 ѓбіе прозzбE, занE не и3мsше глубины2 земнhz: And other fell on the rocky ground, where it had not much earth; and straightaway it sprang up, because it had no deepness of earth:
6
6
с0лнцу же возсіsвшу присвsде, и3 занE не и3мsше к0рене, и4зсше: but when the sun was risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7
7
E: And other fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8
8
2. And other fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing; and brought forth, thirtyfold, and sixtyfold, and a hundredfold.
9
9
And he said, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10
10
ѕ7‹.) And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
11
11
And he said unto them, Unto you is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:
12
12
2. that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest haply they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.
13
13
And he saith unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how shall ye know all the parables?
14
14
The sower soweth the word.
15
15
Сjи же сyть, и5же при пути2, и3дёже сёетсz сл0во, и3 є3гдA ўслhшатъ, ѓбіе прих0дитъ сатанA и3 teмлетъ сл0во сёzнное въ сердцaхъ и4хъ. And these are they by the wayside, where the word is sown; and when they have heard, straightaway cometh Satan, and taketh away the word which hath been sown in their hearts.
16
16
И# сjи сyть тaкожде и4же на кaменныхъ сёеміи, и5же є3гдA ўслhшатъ сл0во, ѓбіе съ рaдостію пріeмлютъ є5: And these in like manner are they that are sown upon the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, straightaway receive it with joy;
17
17
и3 не и4мутъ корeніz въ себЁ, но приврeменни сyть: тaже бhвшей печaли и3ли2 гонeнію словесE рaди, ѓбіе соблажнsютсz. and they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightaway they stumble.
18
18
And these are they that are sown among the thorns; such as hear the word,
19
19
и3 печ†ли вёка сегw2, и3 лeсть богaтства, и3 њ пр0чихъ п0хwти входsщыz подавлsютъ сл0во, и3 безпл0дно бывaетъ. and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
20
20
2. And these are they that were sown upon the good ground; such as hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, thirtyfold, and sixtyfold, and a hundredfold.
21
21
And he said unto them, Is the lamp brought to be put under the bushel, or under the bed, and not to be put on the stand?
22
22
For there is not anything hidden, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light.
23
23
If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear.
24
24
з7‹.) And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured unto you; and more shall be given unto you that hear.
25
25
For whoso hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.
26
26
И# гlаше: тaкw є4сть (и3) цrтвіе б9іе, ћкоже человёкъ вметaетъ сёмz въ зeмлю, And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth;
27
27
и3 спи1тъ, и3 востаeтъ н0щію и3 днjю: и3 сёмz прозzбaетъ и3 растeтъ, ћкоже не вёсть џнъ: and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he knoweth not how.
28
28
t себє1 бо землS плоди1тъ прeжде травY, пот0мъ клaсъ, тaже и3сполнsетъ пшени1цу въ клaсэ: For the earth beareth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
29
29
є3гдa же созрёетъ пл0дъ, ѓбіе п0слетъ сeрпъ, ћкw настA жaтва. But when the fruit is ripe, straightaway he putteth forth the sickle, because the harvest is come.
30
30
5; And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31
31
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown upon the earth, is less than all the seeds that are upon the earth,
32
32
и3 є3гдA всёzно бyдетъ, возрастaетъ, и3 бывaетъ б0лэе всёхъ ѕeлій, и3 твори1тъ вBтви вє1ліz, ћкw мощи2 под8 сёнію є3гw2 пти1цамъ небє1снымъ витaти. yet when it is sown, groweth up, and becometh greater than all the herbs, and putteth out great branches; so that the birds of the heaven can lodge under the shadow thereof.
33
33
И# таковhми при1тчами мн0гими гlаше и5мъ сл0во, ћкоже можaху слhшати. And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it;
34
34
Без8 при1тчи же не гlаше и5мъ словесE: њс0бь же ўчн7кHмъ свои6мъ сказaше вс‰. and without a parable spake he not unto them: but privately to his disciples he expounded all things.
35
35
}‹.) And on that day, when even was come, he saith unto them, Let us go over unto the other side.
36
36
And leaving the multitude, they take him with them, even as he was, in the boat. And other little boats also were with him.
37
37
И# бhсть бyрz вётрена вели1ка: вHлны же вливaхусz въ корaбль, ћкw ўжE погружaтисz є3мY. And there ariseth a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, insomuch that it was now filling.
38
38
And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Teacher, carest thou not that we perish?
39
39
And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40
40
И# речE и5мъ: что2 тaкw страшли1ви є3стE; кaкw не и4мате вёры; And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41
41
И# ўбоsшасz стрaхомъ вeліимъ и3 глаг0лаху дрyгъ ко дрyгу: кто2 u5бо сeй є4сть, ћкw и3 вётръ и3 м0ре послyшаютъ є3гw2; And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
