In the twenty-third year of Joas son of Ochozias king of Juda began Joachaz the son of Ju to reign in Samaria, and he reigned seventeen years.	Въ лёто двaдесzть трeтіе їwaса сhна nхозjина царS їyдина цaрствова їwахaзъ сhнъ їиyевъ над8 ї}лемъ въ самарjи седмьнaдесzть лётъ,

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked after the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who led Israel to sin; he departed not from them.	и3 сотвори2 лукaвое пред8 nчи1ма гDнима, и3 и4де в8слёдъ грэхHвъ їеровоaма сhна навaтова, и4же въ грёхъ введE ї}лz и3 не њстaсz ѕл0бы тоS.

And the Lord was very angry with Israel, and delivered them into the hand of Azael king of Syria, and into the hand of the son of Ader son of Azael, all their days.	И# разгнёвасz гDь гнёвомъ на ї}лz, и3 вдадE и5хъ въ рyцэ ґзаи1лу царю2 сЂрску и3 въ рyцэ сhна ґдeра, сhна ґзаи1лева, во вс‰ дни6.

And Joachaz besought the Lord, and the Lord hearkened to him, for he saw the affliction of Israel, because the king of Syria afflicted them.	И# помоли1сz їwахaзъ лицY гDню, и3 ўслhша є3го2 гDь, ћкw ви1дэ ск0рбь ї}леву, понeже њскорби2 и5хъ цaрь сЂрскій.

And the Lord gave deliverance to Israel, and they escaped from under the hand of Syria: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as heretofore.	И# дадE гDь спcніе ї}лю, и3 и3збhша t рукY сЂрску: и3 всели1шасz и3 сhнове ї}лєвы въ селє1ніz сво‰ ћкоже и3 вчерA и3 трeтіzгw днE:

Only they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who led Israel to sin: they walked in them—moreover the grove also remained in Samaria.	nбaче не tступи1ша t грэхHвъ д0му їеровоaма сhна навaтова, и4же и3 въ грёхъ введE ї}лz, въ нeмъ ходsху: и3 дубрaва стоsше въ самарjи.

Whereas there was not left any army to Joachaz, except fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand infantry: for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and they made them as dust for trampling.	ћкw не њстaшасz їwахaзу лю1діе, но т0кмw пzтьдесsтъ кHнникъ, и3 дeсzть колесни1цъ, и3 дeсzть тhсzщъ пэшцє1въ, ћкw и3згуби1лъ и5хъ цaрь сЂрскій, и3 положи2 \| ћкw прaхъ на попрaніе.

And the rest of the acts of Joachaz, and all that he did, and his mighty acts are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?	И# прHчаz словeсъ їwахaзовыхъ, и3 вс‰ є3ли6ка сотвори2, и3 си6лы є3гw2, не сі‰ ли пи6сана въ кни1зэ словeсъ днjй царeй ї}левыхъ;

And Joachaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria: and Joas his son reigned in his stead.	И# ќспе їwахaзъ со nтцы6 свои1ми, и3 погреб0ша є3го2 въ самарjи: и3 воцари1сz їwaсъ сhнъ є3гw2 вмёстw є3гw2.

In the thirty-seventh year of Joas king of Juda, Joas the son of Joachaz began to reign over Israel in Samaria sixteen years.	Въ лёто три1десzть седм0е їwaса царS їyдина цaрствова їwaсъ сhнъ їwахaзовъ над8 ї}лемъ въ самарjи шестьнaдесzть лётъ,

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord; he departed not from all the sin of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who led Israel to sin: he walked in it.	и3 сотвори2 лукaвое пред8 nчи1ма гDнима: и3 tступи2 t всёхъ грэхHвъ їеровоaма сhна навaтова, и4же въ грёхъ введE ї}лz, въ т0мъ хождaше.

And the rest of the acts of Joas, and all that he did, and his mighty acts which he performed together with Amessias king of Juda, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?	И# прHчаz словeсъ їwaсовыхъ и3 вс‰ є3ли6ка сотвори2, и3 си6лы є3гw2, ±же сотвори2 со ґмессjемъ царeмъ їyдинымъ, не сі‰ ли пи6сана въ кни1зэ словeсъ днjй царeй ї}левыхъ;

And Joas slept with his fathers, and Jeroboam sat upon his throne, and he was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.	И# ќспе їwaсъ со nтцы6 свои1ми, їеровоaмъ же сёде на прест0лэ є3гw2: и3 погребeнъ бhсть їwaсъ въ самарjи съ царми2 ї}левыми.

Now Elisaie was sick of his sickness, whereof he died: and Joas king of Israel went down to him, and wept over his face, and said, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horseman thereof!	И# є3ліссeй разболёсz болёзнію своeю, t неsже ќмре. И# пріи1де къ немY їwaсъ цaрь ї}левъ, и3 плaкасz над8 лицeмъ є3гw2, и3 речE: џтче, џтче, колесни1ца ї}лева и3 к0ни є3гw2.

And Elisaie said to him, Take bow and arrows. And he took to himself a bow and arrows.	И# речE є3мY є3ліссeй возми2 лyкъ и3 стрёлы. И# взS къ себЁ лyкъ и3 стрёлы.

And he said to the king, Put thy hand on the bow. And Joas put his hand upon it: and Elisaie put his hands upon the king's hands.	И# речE царю2: возложи2 рyку свою2 на лyкъ. И# возложи2 їwaсъ рyку свою2 на лyкъ, и3 є3ліссeй возложи2 рyки сво‰ на рyки царє1вы,

And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. And Elisaie said, Shoot. And he shot. And Elisaie said, The arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; and thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphec until thou have consumed them.	и3 речE: tвeрзи nкно2 є4же на вост0къ. И# tвeрзе. И# речE є3ліссeй: стрэли2. И# стрэли2 (цaрь). И# речE є3ліссeй: стрэлA спcніz гDнz и3 стрэлA спасeніz на сmрjю, и3 побэди1ши сmрjю во ґфeкэ дaже до скончaніz.

And Elisaie said to him, Take bow and arrows. And he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And the king smote three times, and stayed.	И# речE є3мY є3ліссeй: возми2 лyкъ. И# взS. И# речE царю2 ї}леву: ўдaри на зeмлю. И# ўдaри цaрь три1жды, и3 стA.

And the man of God was grieved at him, and said, If thou hadst smitten five or six times, then thou shouldest have smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed them; but now thou shalt smite Syria only thrice.	И# њскорбЁ человёкъ б9ій њ нeмъ и3 речE: ѓще бы ўдaрилъ є3си2 пzти1щи и3ли2 шести1щи, тогдa бы є3си2 порази1лъ сmрjю до скончaніz, нн7э же побэди1ши сmрjю три1жды.

And Elisaie died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites came into the land, at the beginning of the year.	И# ќмре є3ліссeй, и3 погреб0ша є3го2. В0ини же мwaвли пріид0ша въ зeмлю наставaющу лёту томY.

And it came to pass as they were burying a man, that behold, they saw a band of men, and they cast the man into the grave of Elisaie: and as soon as he touched the bones of Elisaie, he revived and stood up on his feet.	И# бhсть и5мъ погребaющимъ мyжа, и3 сE, ви1дэша в0инwвъ, и3 поверг0ша мyжа во гр0бэ є3ліссeовэ: (и3 впадE тёло человёка мeртва,) и3 прикоснyсz костeмъ є3ліссewвымъ, и3 њживE и3 востA на н0ги сво‰.

And Azael greatly afflicted Israel all the days of Joachaz.	Ґзаи1лъ же њскорблsше ї}лz во вс‰ дни6 їwахaзwвы.

And the Lord had mercy and compassion upon them, and had respect to them because of his covenant with Abraam, and Isaac, and Jacob; and the Lord would not destroy them, and did not cast them out from his presence.	И# поми1лова и3 гDь, и3 ўщeдри \|, и3 призрЁ на нS завёта рaди своегw2, и4же со ґвраaмомъ и3 їсаaкомъ и3 їaкwвомъ, и3 не восхотЁ гDь потреби1ти и4хъ, нижE tвeрже и4хъ t лицA своегw2.

And Azael king of Syria died, and the son of Ader his son reigned in his stead.	И# ќмре ґзаи1лъ цaрь сЂрскій, и3 воцари1сz ґдeръ сhнъ є3гw2 вмёстw є3гw2.

And Joas the son of Joachaz returned, and took the cities out of the hand of the son of Ader the son of Azael, which he had taken out of the hand of Joachaz his father in the war: thrice did Joas smite him, and he recovered the cities of Israel.	И# возврати1сz їwaсъ сhнъ їwахaзовъ, и3 взS грaды t руки2 ґдeра сhна ґзаи1лева, и5хже взS t рукY їwахaза nтцA є3гw2 въ брaни: три1жды побэди2 є3го2 їwaсъ, и3 возврати2 грaды ї}лєвы.
