Twenty years old was Achaz when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not that which was right in the eyes of the Lord his God faithfully, as David his father had done. сhнъ двaдесzти лётъ бЁ ґхaзъ, є3гдA начA цaрствовати, и3 шестьнaдесzть лётъ цaрствова во їеrли1мэ, и3 не сотвори2 прaвое пред8 nчи1ма гDа бGа своегw2 вёрнw, ћкоже давjдъ nтeцъ є3гw2,

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, he made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel. и3 ходи2 въ пути2 їеровоaма сhна навaтова царS ї}лева, ксемY и3 сhна своего2 преведE сквозЁ џгнь по мeрзостемъ kзhкwвъ, и5хже tsтъ гDь t лицA сынHвъ ї}левыхъ:

And he sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places, and upon the hills, and under every shady tree. и3 жрsше и3 кадsше на выс0кихъ и3 на холмёхъ и3 под8 всsкимъ дрeвомъ чaстымъ.

Then went up Raasson king of Syria and Phakee son of Romelias king of Israel against Jerusalem to war, and besieged Achaz, but could not prevail against him. ТогдA взhде раассHнъ цaрь сЂрскъ и3 факeй сhнъ ромелjинъ цaрь ї}левъ во їеrли1мъ на брaнь, и3 воевaста на ґхaза, и3 не можaста (є3мY) њдолёти.

At that time Raasson king of Syria recovered Ælath to Syria, and drove out the Jews from Ælath, and the Idumeans came to Ælath, and dwelt there until this day. Во врeмz џно возврати2 раассHнъ цaрь сЂрскій є3лafъ сmрjи и3 и3згнA їудeєвъ и3з8 є3лafа, и3 їдумeє пріид0ша во є3лafъ и3 всели1шасz тaмw дaже до днE сегw2.

And Achaz sent messengers to Thalgath-phellasar king of the Assyrians, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, deliver me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who are rising up against me. И# послA ґхaзъ послы2 къ fелгаfфелласaру царю2 ґссmрjйску, глаг0лz: рaбъ тв0й и3 сhнъ тв0й ѓзъ є4смь, взhди и3 tими2 мS t руки2 царS сЂрска и3 t руки2 царS ї}лева, востaвшихъ на мS.

And Achaz took the silver and the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and of the king's house, and sent gifts to the king. И# взS ґхaзъ злaто и3 сребро2 њбрётшеесz въ сокр0вищихъ д0му гDнz и3 въ сокр0вищихъ д0му царeва, и3 послA царю2 ґссmрjйску дaры.

And the king of the Assyrians hearkened to him: and the king of the Assyrians went up to Damascus and took it, and removed the inhabitants, and slew king Raasson. И# послyша є3гw2 цaрь ґссmрjйскій: и3 взhде цaрь ґссmрjйскій въ дамaскъ, и3 взS є3го2, и3 пресели2 є3го2, и3 раассHна царS ўби2.

And king Achaz went to Damascus to meet Thalgath-phellasar king of the Assyrians at Damascus; and he saw an altar at Damascus. And king Achaz sent to Urias the priest the pattern of the altar, and its proportions, and all its workmanship. И# и4де цaрь ґхaзъ на срётеніе fелгаfфелласaру царю2 ґссmрjйску въ дамaскъ, и3 ви1дэ жeртвенникъ въ дамaсцэ: и3 послA цaрь ґхaзъ ко ўрjи їерeю под0біе жeртвенника, и3 начертaніе, и3 всE творeніе є3гw2.

And Urias the priest built the altar, according to all the directions which king Achaz sent from Damascus. И# создA ўрjа їерeй жeртвенникъ по всBмъ, є3ли6ка послA цaрь ґхaзъ t дамaска.

And the king saw the altar, and went up to it, И# пріи1де цaрь ґхaзъ и3з8 дамaска и3 ви1дэ жeртвенникъ, и3 взhде на него2,

and offered his whole-burnt-offering, and his meat-offering, and his drink-offering, and poured out the blood of his peace-offerings on the brazen altar that was before the Lord. и3 покади2 всесожжeніе своE и3 жeртву свою2 и3 возліsніе своE, и3 проліS кр0вь ми1рныхъ на жeртвенникъ,

And he brought forward the one before the house of the Lord from between the altar and the house of the Lord, and he set it openly by the side of the altar northwards. nлтaрь же мёдzный, и4же пред8 гDемъ, принесE t лицA д0му гDнz, и3 t среды2 жeртвенника и3 t среды2 д0му гDнz: и3 постaви є3го2 њ є3ди1ну странY жeртвенника къ сёверу.

And king Achaz charged Urias the priest, saying, Offer upon the great altar the whole-burnt-offering in the morning and the meat-offering in the evening, and the whole-burnt-offering of the king, and his meat-offering, and the whole-burnt-offering of all the people, and their meat-offering, and their drink-offering; and thou shalt pour all the blood of the whole-burnt-offering, and all the blood of any other sacrifice upon it: and the brazen altar shall be for me in the morning. И# заповёда цaрь ґхaзъ ўрjи їерeю, глаг0лz: на жeртвенницэ вели1цэмъ приношazй всесожжє1ніz ќтреннzz, и3 жeртву вечeрнюю, и3 всесожжє1ніz царє1ва, и3 жeртву є3гw2, и3 всесожжє1ніz всёхъ людjй, и3 жeртву и5хъ, и3 возлі‰ніz и4хъ, и3 всsку кр0вь всесожжeніz, и3 всsку кр0вь жeртвенную и3зліeши на нeмъ: nлтaрь не мёдzнъ да бyдетъ мнЁ на ќтро.

And Urias the priest did according to all that king Achaz commanded him. И# сотвори2 ўрjа їерeй по всBмъ, є3ли6ка заповёда є3мY цaрь ґхaзъ.

And king Achaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them, and took down the sea from the brazen oxen that were under it, and set it upon a base of stone. И# и3зсэчE ґхaзъ цaрь споє1ніz подстaвwвъ, и3 пренесE t ни1хъ ўмывaлницу, и3 м0ре низложи2 t волHвъ мёдzныхъ, и4же бёша под8 ни1мъ, и3 положи2 є5 на подстaвэ кaменнэмъ:

And he made a base for the throne in the house of the Lord, and he turned the king's entrance without in the house of the Lord because of the king of the Assyrians. и3 њсновaніе сэдaлища создaно въ домY гDни, и3 вх0дъ царeвъ внёшній њбрати2 въ д0мъ гDень, t лицA царS ґссmрjйска.

And the rest of the acts of Achaz, even all that he did, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda? И# прHчаz словeсъ ґхaзовыхъ, є3ли6ка сотвори2, не сі‰ ли напи6сана въ кни1зэ словeсъ днjй царeй їyдиныхъ:

And Achaz slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Ezekias his son reigned in his stead. И# ќспе ґхaзъ со nтцы6 свои1ми, и3 погребeнъ бhсть со nтцы6 свои1ми во грaдэ давjдовэ. И# воцари1сz є3зекjа сhнъ є3гw2 вмёстw є3гw2.
