In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by the hand of the prophet Aggæus, saying, Speak to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and to Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, saying,
|
Въ второ'е лњто при да'рїи цр~и, въ ше'стыи мsць въ прьвыи мsца” Бы'сть сло'во гн~е в рђ'кђ а^г#ге'я пррoка, гл~я, рцы` ё^бо къ зорова'велю салаџїилевђ эT колњ'на і^ё'дова, и^ къ і^с~ђ і^ѓ^седе'ковђ і^ере'ю вели'комђ, гл~я.

Thus saith the Lord Almighty, saying, This people say, The time is not come to build the house of the Lord.
|
си'це гл~етъ г~ь вседръжиᲄель, гл~я, лю'дїе сїи гл~ютъ, не прїиде вре'мя създа'ти храM гн~ь”
|

|
And the word of the Lord came by the hand of the prophet Aggæus, saying,
|
И$ быs слово гн~е в рђкђ а^г#гея прoрка, гл~я.
|
|

|
|
Is it time for you to dwell in your ceiled houses, whereas our house is desolate?
|
врњмя ё^бо ва'мъ е^сть зда'ти хра'мы вашA кљ=лостаTмы, а^ храM мои ꙁапђстњ”
|
|

|

|
|
And now thus saith the Lord Almighty; Consider your ways, I pray you.
|
И$ нн~њ си'це гл~етъ г~ь вседръжиᲄель, положи'те срDца ваша в пђти` ва'ша.
|
|

|

|
|
Ye have sown much, but brought in little; ye have eaten, and are not satisfied; ye have drunk, and are not satisfied with drink, ye have clothed yourselves, and have not become warm thereby: and he that earns wages has gathered them into a bag full of holes.
|
сњя'сте мно'го, и^ вꙁя'сте ма'ло. ја%ли е^сте, и^ не в сы'тость. пи'сте, и^ не въ пїянъство. ѓ^блеко'стеся, и^ не съгрњстеся в ни'хъ. и^ събира'яй м#зды`, събра` въ влага'лище ё'тло.

Thus saith the Lord Almighty; Consider your ways.
|
Си'це гл~етъ г~ь вседръжи'тель, положи'те срDца ва'ша в пђти` ва'ша.
|

|
|
Go up to the mountain, and cut timber; build the house, and I will take pleasure in it, and be glorified, saith the Lord.
|
възыдњте на горђ`, и^ ё^сњцњте дре'ва, и^ принесњте и^ съꙁи'ждете хра'мъ, и^ бл~говолю в немъ и^ просла'влюся, рече г~ь.

|
Ye looked for much, and there came little; and it was brought into the house, and I blew it away. Therefore thus saith the Lord Almighty, Because my house is desolate, and ye run every one into his own house;
|
при'зрњсᲄе на мно'га и^ бы'ша ма'ла, и^ внесо'сте я& въ хра'м# и^ эTдђнђхъ я&. сего ра'ди си'це гл~ет# г~ь вседръжи'тель, ꙁане` хра'мъ мои е^сть пђстъ, вы' же го'ните ко'ждо домъ свои.

|
therefore shall the sky withhold dew, and the earth shall keep back her produce.
|
сего ради ё^дръжится нб~о эT росы`, и^ земля` ё^скђдитъ и^ꙁноше'нїя е^я на ва'съ.
|

|
And I will bring a sword upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the wine, and upon the oil, and all that the earth produces, and upon the men, and upon the cattle, and upon all the labours of their hands.
|
и^ наведђ ѓ^рђжїе на ꙁе'млю, и^ на го'ры, на пшени'цђ, и^ на вино`, и^ на еле'и, и^ на вся` е^ли'ко и^ꙁно'ситъ земля`. и^ на чл~ки, и^ на ско'ты, и^ на вся` трђды рђчныя и^хъ”

And Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, and all the remnant of the people, hearkened to the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of the prophet Aggæus, according as the Lord their God had sent him to them, and the people feared before the Lord.
|
И# слы'ша зорова'вель салаџїилевъ эT колњ'на і^ё'дова, и^ і^сђсъ і^ѓ^седе'ковъ і^ере'и вели'кїи, и^ вс^и про'чїи лю'дїе гла'съ г~а б~а и^хъ, и^ сло'во а^г#ге'я прoрка, ја%коже посла и& г~ь б~ъ и^хъ к ни'мъ. и^ ё^боя'шася лю'дїе эT лица` гн~я”

And Aggæus the Lord's messenger spoke among the messengers of the Lord to the people, saying, I am with you, saith the Lord.
|
И$ рече а^г#ге'и а^гг~лъ гн~ь в посла'нїе гн~е лю'демъ, гл~я. а^ꙁъ е^смь с ва'ми, гл~етъ г~ь”

|
And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and the spirit of Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, and the spirit of the remnant of all the people; and they went in, and wrought in the house of the Lord Almighty their God,
|
И$ въꙁдви'же г~ь дх~ъ зорова'велю салаџїилевђ эT колњна і^ё'дова, и^ дх~ъ і^сђсђ и^ѓ^седе'ковђ і^ере'ю вели'комђ, и^ дх~ъ прочїимᲆ всњмъ лю'демъ. и^ внидошA и^ творя'хђ дњла въ хра'мњ г~а вседрᲆжи'теля б~а и^хъ,

on the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
|
въ четве'ртыи тре'тїяго десяте, мsца ше'стаго, въ второ'е лњто при дарїи цр~и”

|
In the seventh month, on the twenty-first day of the month, the Lord spoke by Aggæus the prophet, saying,
|
Се'дмаго мsца въ прьвыи тре'тїягодесяте. гл~а г~ь рђко'ю а^г#ге'я прoрка, гл~я,
|
|

|
|
Speak now to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and to Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, and to all the remnant of the people, saying,
|
рцы' же къ ꙁорова'велю салаџїилевђ эT колњна і^ё'дова, и^ къ і^сђсђ і^ѓ^седе'ковђ і^ере'ю вели'комђ и^ къ всњмъ про'чїимъ лю'дем#, гл~я.
|

|
Who is there of you that saw this house in her former glory? and how do ye now look upon it, as it were nothing before your eyes?
|
кт^о эT васъ и^же ви'дњ хра'мъ се'и въ сла'вђ е^го пръвђю. и^ како в^ы ви'диᲄе е^го нн~њ, ја^коже не сђща преD ва'ми.

|
Yet now be strong, O Zorobabel, saith the Lord; and strengthen thyself, O Jesus the high priest, the son of Josedec; and let all the people of the land strengthen themselves, saith the Lord, and work, for I am with you, saith the Lord Almighty;
|
и^ нн~њ ё^крњпля'ися ꙁорова'велю, гл~етъ г~ь. ё^крњпля'ися і^сђсе і^ѓ^седе'ковъ і^ере'ю вели'кїи, и^ да ё^крњпля'ются вс^и лю'дїе земля`, гл~ет# г~ь вседръжи'тель. и^ твори'те зане а%зъ с ва'ми е^смь, гл~етъ г~ь в#седръжитель”

|
and my Spirit remains in the midst of you; be of good courage.
|
Сло'во е^же гл~ахъ с ва'ми е^гда и^сходи'сте и^зъ ꙁемля` е^гљ=пет#ски, и^ дх~ъ мои настоитъ посредњ васъ. дръꙁа'ите. зане` си'це гл~етъ г~ь вседръжи'тель.

For thus saith the Lord Almighty; Yet once I will shake the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
|
е^ще е^ді'ною, а^ꙁъ потрясђ` нб~омъ и^ ꙁемле'ю, моремъ и^ сђшею.
|
|

|
7
|
|
and I will shake all nations, and the choice portions of all the nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord Almighty.
|
и^ съᲄрясђ` вся ја%ꙁы'ки, и^ прїидђтъ и^ꙁбр'анnая всњмъ ја^ꙁы'комъ, і^ и^спо'лню храM сеи сла'вы, гл~етъ г~ь вседерж'иTель.

|
Mine is the silver, and mine the gold, saith the Lord Almighty.
|
Мое сребро`, и^ мое ꙁла'то, гл~етъ г~ь вседръжи'тель.
|
|

|
|
For the glory of this house shall be great, the latter more than the former, saith the Lord Almighty: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord Almighty, even peace of soul for a possession to every one that builds, to raise up this temple.
|
ꙁане` ве'лїя бђдетᲆ сла'ва хра'мђ семђ` послњдняя паче прьвыя, гл~етъ г~ь вседръжи'тель. и^ на мњсте семъ да'мъ ми'ръ, гл~ет# г~ь вседръжи'тель, и^ ми'ръ дш~и въ посђжде'нїе вся'кђ ѕи'ждђщемђ въз#дви'гнђти цр~ковь сїю”

On the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Aggæus the prophet, saying,
|
Въ четве'ртый третїягодесяте, девя'того мsца, въ второ'е лњто при да'рїи цр~и. бы'сть сло'во гн~е къ а^г#ге'ю прoркђ, гл~я,
|

Thus saith the Lord Almighty; Inquire now of the priests concerning the law, saying,
|
си'це гл~етъ г~ь вседръжи'тель, въпроси` і^ере'я ꙁако'на, гл~я.
|
|

|
|
If a man should take holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and the skirt of his garment should touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
|
а^ще прїиметъ чл~къ мя'со ст~о въ конец# ри'ꙁы е^го, и^ коснетъ кра'и риꙁы е^го въ хлњбъ, л^и в# сочи'во, л^и въ вино`, л^и въ ма'сло, л^и въ вся'ко бра'шно, а^ще ст~ится. и^ эTвњща'ша сщ~еннїи и^ рњша, н^и.

|
And Aggæus said, If a defiled person who is unclean by reason of a dead body, touch any of these, shall it be defiled? And the priests answered and said, It shall be defiled.
|
и^ рече а^г#ге'и, а^ще косне'тъ ѓ^скверне'но л^и нечи'ста дђша на дђшю эT всњхъ си'хъ, а^ще ѓ^скврᲆни'тся. и^ эTвњща'ша і^ере'и, и^ рњшA ѓ^скверни'тся.

|
And Aggæus answered and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord; and so are all the works of their hands: and whosoever shall approach them, shall be defiled because of their early burdens: they shall be pained because of their toils; and ye have hated him that reproved in the gates.
|
и^ эTвњща` а^г#ге'и, и^ рече, си'це лю'дїе сїи, си'це ја^зык# се'и предо мно'ю, гл~етъ г~ь, и^ си'це вся дњла рђкђ е^го, і^ и^же а^ще коснеT т^ђ ѓ^скверни'тся ꙁа прїятїе и^хъ. ё'треняя ѓ^строптя'тся эT лица` лђкавствомъ и^хъ. и^ ненави'дњсте въ вра'техъ ѓ^блича'ющаго.

And now consider, I pray you, from this day and beforetime, before they laid a stone on a stone in the temple of the Lord, what manner of men ye were.
|
и^ нн~њ же положи'те на срDцыхъ ва'шиX эT дн~е сего и^ превы'ше, прежде положи'ти ка'мень на ка'мени въ хра'мњ гн~и.
|

|
When ye cast into the corn-bin twenty measures of barley, and there were only ten measures of barley: and ye went to the vat to draw out fifty measures, and there were but twenty.
|
чт^о бњсте е^гда` вложи'сте в# кђпьсель двадесяте са'та, и^ бы'ша десять са'та ја^чме'не. и^ влажа'сте в поDточи'лїе че'рпаᲄи н~ мњрники и^ бы'сть двадесятъ.

|
I smote you with barrenness, and with blasting, and all the works of your hands with hail; yet ye returned not to me, saith the Lord.
|
пораꙁи'хъ в^ы в# жито погрњше'нїю, и^ вњтротлњнїемъ, и^ гра'домъ вс^я дњла рђкъ ва'ших#. и^ не ѓ^брати'стеся къ мнᲇ, гл~етъ г~ь.

|
Set your hearts now to think from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day when the foundation of the temple of the Lord was laid;
|
ё^чини'те же срDца ва'ша эT сего дн~е и^ про'че, эT четве'ртаго междђ двњма десят#ма девя'таго мsца, и^ эT дн~е эT негоже ѓ^снова'ся цр~кви гн~я, положи'те въ срDцыхъ ва'шихъ.

consider in your hearts, whether this shall be known on the corn-floor, and whether yet the vine, and the fig-tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive-trees that bear no fruit are with you: from this day will I bless you.
|
а^ще е^ще раꙁђмњ'етеся на гђмнњ`. и^ а^ще е^ще вино` и^ смо'кви и^ кисели'чїе, и^ дре'ва маслин#ная не творя'щая пло'да. эT сего дн~е свящђ”

And the word of the Lord came the second time to Aggæus the prophet, on the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
|
И$ бы'сть сло'во гн~е втори'цею къ а^г#гею прoркђ, в# четве'ртыи междђ десят#ма, гл~я,
|
|

|
|
Speak to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, saying, I shake the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
|
рцы` къ ꙁорова'велю салаџїилевђ эT колњна і^ё'дова, гл~я. е^ще е^ді'ною, а^ꙁъ потрясђ` нб~омъ и^ ꙁемле'ю, и^ мо'ремъ и^ сђшею.

|
and I will overthrow the thrones of kings, and I will destroy the power of the kings of the nations; and I will overthrow chariots and riders; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword striving against his brother.
|
и^ раꙁдрђшђ престо'лы цр~еM и^ потреблю` си'лђ цр~ь ја^зы'чныхъ, и^ раздрђшђ ѓ^рђжїя и^ вса'дники, и^ сни'дђтъ ко'ни и^ вса'дницы и^хъ, ко'ждо въ ѓ^рђжїи къ бра'тђ свое^мђ”

In that day, saith the Lord Almighty, I will take thee, O Zorobabel, the son of Salathiel, my servant, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a seal: for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord Almighty.

в то'и дн~ь, гл~етъ г~ь вседержа'и, прїимђ т^я ꙁорова'велю салаџїилевъ ра'бе мои, гл~етъ г~ь, и^ положђ т^я ја%ко печать ја%ко тя и^зволихъ, гл~етъ г~ь вседръжи'тель”
