Early in the morning were they cast off, the king of Israel has been cast off: for Israel is a child, and I loved him, and out of Egypt have I called his children.

Заё%тра эTвръгошася ја%ко заря эTве'ржеся цр~ь і^и^л~вь. и%мже младе'нецъ і^и^л~ь, и^ а'ꙁъ въꙁлю'бихъ и&. и^ꙁъ е^гљ=пта въꙁваX сн~а мое^го.

As I called them, so they departed from my presence: they sacrificed to Baalim, and burnt incense to graven images.

ја%коже приꙁва'хъ я&, та'кожDе эTхожда'хђ эT лица` мое^го” сїи же ваа^лимђ требђ кладя'хђ, і^ и^звая'нымъ кадя'хђ.

Yet I bound the feet of Ephraim, I took him on my arm; but they knew not that I healed them.
|
а^з# же помогох# е^фрњмови, вꙁя'хъ и& на мы'шцђ свою`, и^ не разђмњша ја^ко и^сцᲇлихъ я&.

When men were destroyed, I drew them with the bands of my love: and I will be to them as a man smiting another on his cheek: and I will have respect to him, I will prevail with him.
|
въ и^стлњнїи чл~чьстњ привлекоX я& нака'заны любленїя мое^го” И$ бђдђ и^мъ ја%ко ё^даряа'й чл~ка за челюсти, възрю` к немђ и^ премогђ е^мђ.

Ephraim dwelt in Egypt; and as for the Assyrian, he was his king, because he would not return.
|
всели'ся е^фреM въ е^гљ=петъ, а^сљ=р же самъ цр~ь е^го ја%ко не въсхотњ възврати'тися.

|
And in his cities he prevailed not with the sword, and he ceased to war with his hands: and they shall eat of the fruit of their own devices:
|
и^ эTнемо'жеся ѓ^рђжїе въ гра'дњхъ иX, и^ ё^молче въ рђ'кђ е^го, і^ и^зъја^дя'тъ эT развњтъ свои^хъ”

|
and his people shall cleave fondly to their habitation; but God shall be angry with his precious things, and shall not at all exalt him.
|
и^ лю'дїе е^го вися'ще эT ѓ^биᲄа'нїя е^го. и^ б~ъ на честная е^го разгнњ'вается и^ не възнесетъ е^го”

|
How shall I deal with thee, Ephraim? how shall I protect thee, Israel? what shall I do with thee? I will make thee as Adama, and as Seboim; my heart is turned at once, my repentance is powerfully excited.

Что` т^я ё^строю` е^фрњме, защищђ т^я і^и^л~ю. что` т^я положђ ја%ко и^ а^да'ма, ё^строю` т^я ја%ко и^ севои'мᲆ. превратися срDце мое, в семъ смяᲄеся раскаа'нїе мое.

I will not act according to the fury of my wrath, I will not abandon Ephraim to be utterly destroyed: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One within thee: and I will not enter into the city.
|
не сътворю` по гнњвђ ја^рости мое'я. не ѓ^ста'влю ја%ко потреби'тися е^фрњмови, зане б~ъ а^зъ е^смь а^ не чл~къ, въ тебњ` ст~ъ. и^ не вни'дђ въ гра'дъ

I will go after the Lord: he shall utter his voice as a lion: for he shall roar, and the children of the waters shall be amazed.
|
въ слњдъ г~а ходи'ти” ЈА/ко ле'вᲆ възреветъ, ја%ко то'и възреве'тъ, и^ ё^жаснTђся ча'да живоT”

They shall be amazed and fly as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of the Assyrians: and I will restore them to their houses, saith the Lord.
|
И$ прїидђтъ ја%ко пти'ца иZ е^гљ=пта, и ја^ко го'лђбᲆ эT земля` а^сљ=р#скы. и^ ё^ста'влю я& в# домохъ иX, гл~етъ г~ь”
